#1 Contender Tag Team Triple Threat

PAC & Jack Evans vs. The All Night Express vs. The Havana Pitbulls

Comments: PAC is the difference maker. I know I'm wrong here but I'm pretty sure King & Titus have fought for the titles already, so...

Jay Brisoce vs. Kenny Omega

Comments: Put the singles guy over the tag guy.

Jay Lethal vs. Kevin Steen

Comments: I'm sure Cabana and Generico will get involved somehow.

Erick Stevens vs. Jimmy Rave

Comments: I don't know in this one, but I feel like Stevens has been losing a lot so far. Giving him some momentum back would be wise, I think.

Comments: Could well see Aries being eliminated first as the enemy of my enemy is my friend, leaving Strong to best Lynn. But we'll see!

The Big Bang

Attendance: 1483

Prazak and Hogewood once more welcome us to another Ring of Honor PPV event, as The Big Bang comes to you live from the great state of New York! Before we kick things off with our opening match to decide which tag team will leave as #1 contenders, we're thrown to an interview between Becky Bayless and Mark Briscoe.

4XinTxh.jpgEMZ9Xvq.jpg

Bayless asks the younger Briscoe brother his thoughts on the #1 contender match, and if the champs have any preference on who they face next. Mark is quick to remind her that they are the FIRST and the ONLY six time tag team champions in Ring of Honor history, and if that doesn't prove they can handle anyone, he isn't sure what would! Bayless admits that while it may be an impressive feat, the ROH tag division is getting stronger by the week and there are some hungry competitors with eyes set on the titles. Mark laughs off her comment, before telling her if anyone out there is hungry he has something to feed them before lifting his fists and throwing a couple punches in the direction of the camera and walking off screen.

ROH Tag Team Championship #1 Contenders' Match

PAC & Jack Evans vs. The All Night Express vs. The Havana Pitbulls

All three teams in this match have a lot to prove, and it will be especially interesting to see how PAC & Jack Evans are able to hang with two teams with much more experience together than they have. Unfortunately for the teams involved, things don't go quite how they planned, as just moments after ref Bryce Remsburg calls for the bell, the lights in the venue go out. Once power is finally restored, Brodie Lee and Jimmy Jacobs are found standing in the middle of the ring, and they immediately take out the three teams around them. Unsure of what to do. Remsburg declares one of them to be the legal man, and the match kicks off, with a fourth team added! The Temple's addition proves to be a crushing blow to the other teams involved, as Brodie Lee uses his massive size advantage to bully whoever is tagged in. This leads to a decision being made by the other three teams to work together to ground the big man by assaulting him outside of the ring and sending him crashing into the barricade at ringside. This buys them some time, but eventually Jacobs is given an opportunity to tag himself into the match, and after dropping Ricky Reyes, urges Brodie Lee up to the apron to make the tag. Lee enters the ring, connects with a pump kick and a discuss lariat, and that's all she wrote.

Winner by pinfall: The Temple (Brodie Lee & Jimmy Jacobs)

<div style="color:rgb(0,0,0);border-top:3px solid #8B0000;"></div>

0EAHGw5.jpgpwG06yG.jpg

Brodie Lee is quick to empty the ring of his downed opponents after the match is over, and Jimmy Jacobs looks for a microphone to address the onlookers. Jacobs once again alludes to 'Him' saying that 'He' will be here soon, and that with his arrival Ring of Honor will never be the same. He warns everyone in attendance that they were given a choice, but the longer that they refuse to repent for their sins, the harsher the punishments will be. Ricky Reyes is then sent back into the ring by Brodie Lee, where Jimmy Jacobs locks in the End Time until Reyes is out cold.

Jay Briscoe vs. Kenny Omega

This match is little more than a good ol' fashioned grudge match. Of course it was just a few weeks prior that Omega attacked Mark Briscoe after beating him on HDNet. The next week it was Jay who left a mark on Omega when he planted him with a J-Driller at ringside. Now, both men are desperate to get their hands on one another, and will get the chance to do just that. From the bell we see that this one is probably going to favor Briscoe stylistically, because it's an all-out brawl. Both men showcase the highlights of their move sets, with Briscoe landing an avalanche rolling senton from the rope for a near fall, while Omega himself nets a 2.9 after connecting with Croyt's Wrath. As Briscoe struggles to his feet, he's met with a knee to the face as a V-Trigger connects, and Omega swiftly transitions that into landing the One-Winged Angel for the victory.

Winner by pinfall: Kenny Omega

ROH Television Title #1 Contender's Match

Jay Lethal vs. Kevin Steen

Coming into tonight the only match Kevin Steen has lost this calendar year was by DQ to Colt Cabana last month. He has been a monster between the ropes. and if things continue in the same direction they appear to be headed, the television title might just be the first stop on a journey that leaves the Canadian at the very top of the roster. Meanwhile, for Jay Lethal, his run has not been a whole lot less impressive, with big wins over Kenny Omega and Chris Hero in singles matches over recent weeks. It comes down to this match here tonight for both of these men though, with a title shot in the near future versus Davey Richards going to the winner. Steen is quickly overwhelmed by Lethal's speed, and finds himself in the passenger seat due to the quick strikes and high agility offense that Lethal is able to bring to the table. From there control bounces back and forth, with Steen breaking up Lethal's moments of control with high impact offense, including a ring shaking spin-out package powerbomb that nearly results in a 3 count. A shift follows shortly after though, as Steen charges towards the corner looking to land the cannonball on Lethal, who moves out of the way and hits the ropes looking to connect with the Lethal Injection as Steen climbs to his feet. It's avoided by Steen, who then kicks Lethal in the midsection, and puts his opponent away with a package piledriver.

Winner by pinfall: Kevin Steen

<div style="color:rgb(0,0,0);border-top:3px solid #8B0000;"></div>

zDmQNtL.jpgXhh7AUK.jpgmLcnHsZ.jpg

Still dressed in his ring gear from the last match, Kenny Omega comes flying down the aisle into the ring. He shares a glance with Kevin Steen, before grabbing Lethal and lifting him up to his feet. He screams at Lethal, claiming this should have been his match, before hoisting him over his shoulders and connecting with the One-Winged Angel. Steen shares a laugh with Omega, before grabbing Lethal himself, and setting up for a second package piledriver. Before anymore damage can be done, the cavalry is on their way.

Jv1NghN.jpg0il5hKt.jpg

Cabana and Generico come to the rescue, causing the assailants to roll out of the ring and head for the back. Lethal is helped to his feet, while Kevin Steen celebrates his future title shot.

Erick Stevens vs. Jimmy Rave

The stipulations regarding this match are as straight forward as they come. If Erick Stevens loses the match, he must leave Ring of Honor. If he can find a way to emerge victorious, however, he will be granted the opportunity to stand across the ring from Prince Nana in a match. Desperate for an opportunity to get his hands on his former manager, he comes out of the gates as aggressive as we have seen him. The intensity and aggression from Stevens' sets the tone of this match, and it seems like every punch he throws or hold he applies has something a little extra behind it. Prince Nana, having seen enough of his client on the receiving end of a beatdown, jumps up to ringside looking to get Stevens' attention. Todd Sinclair is quick to come over and and tell him to get lost, but it's in that moment that Ernesto Osiris emerges brandishing a steel chair in his hands. He pops up behind Stevens and swings for the fences, but quick reflexes from Stevens allow him to duck, and Jimmy Rave eats steel to the face instead! Sinclair turns back around as Stevens tosses Osiris out of the ring, and covers Rave for the win.

Winner by pinfall: Erick Stevens

<div style="color:rgb(0,0,0);border-top:3px solid #8B0000;"></div>

M1nJtim.jpgiz0ZcBJ.jpgWDYARHu.jpgp4NVReO.jpg

With Stevens in the ring having his arm raised, Ernesto Osiris quickly reenters and looks to give the chair shot a second attempt, but once again, the ex-Embassy member gets the best of his former stablemate, and drops him with a stiff clothesline. As Prince Nana and Jimmy Rave look on, Stevens showcases a particularly brutal looking sleeper hold, which he doesn't release until security pull him off of Osiris. Stevens pops back up to his feet immediately, and points to Nana, ensuring he knows that he's going to be on the receiving end of that next!

ROH World Heavyweight Championship Elimination Match

Sc0Wbyv.png

Roderick Strong © vs. Austin Aries vs. Jerry Lynn

Before the match kicks off, Austin Aries takes an opportunity to share his thoughts with the audience in attendance tonight. He calls Roderick Strong a paper champion, and accuses him of taking advantage of an unfair schedule that Aries was expected to follow. The 2 time ROH World Champ mentions how many opportunities Roderick Strong has had to become a world champion, and compares it to his current situation, where he wasn’t even given his rightfully deserved one on one rematch. He finishes by adding that after he becomes the first ever 3 time ROH world champ tonight, Cornette will have no choice but to let him call the shots around here, because after all, Ring of Honor is the A Double show.

After putting up with Aries running his mouth, Lynn and Strong quickly head to ringside, with the ROH World Champ getting the biggest pop of the night. There’s no hesitation before the action kicks off, and as soon the introductions are finished it becomes a two on one against Austin Aries. Unimpressed with that approach, he rolls to the outside of the ring and watches from the outside as Lynn and Strong face off. The experience advantage for Lynn is showcased early on, as he works over Strong, before Aries finally heads back to the ring looking to blindside the combatants, only to have his sneak attack sniffed out and turned around as the veteran Lynn retains control. While the pace stays methodical when the senior of the three men is calling the shots, it quickly elevates once Aries is able to take him out of the equation with a discus forearm. This leaves the former champ alone in the ring with the man who won the belt from him, and Aries is desperate for revenge. They trade big impact moves for near falls, before Strong takes advantage of an opening and locks in the Strong Hold. Aries is able to reach the ropes to break the hold, and as he’s being pulled back to his feet, a smartly executed drop toe hold allows him to return the favor on the champ by catching him in the Last Chancery. Aries wrenches it deeper and it looks like Strong might be on the verge of elimination… until Jerry Lynn returns to the ring and comes flying off the top rope with a huge elbow drop that both men are on the receiving end of. Focus is turned to the champ first, who is hit with the cradle piledriver and covered for the pin. 1…2… no! Just before Todd Sinclair finishes the count the champion is able to get his shoulder up and stay alive in this one. Aries, now back to his feet, heads right for Lynn, and lands a crushing brainbuster in the middle of the ring! Aries goes for the Last Chancery, Strong, now back to his feet as well, adds to the punishment by locking in the Strong Hold on Lynn too! Both submissions are locked in and Lynn is going to tap! But Strong releases… although it doesn’t matter because the pressure on the neck is enough for the hand to hit the mat as Lynn is indeed eliminated. Strong is now coming right at Aries, and the sick kick takes him to the ground. Now he’s locking in the Strong Hold on him as well, and with the champ applying so much pressure onto his back, he has no choice but to tap!

Winner by submission: Roderick Strong

<div style="color:rgb(0,0,0);border-top:3px solid #8B0000;"></div>

Z499mNs.jpg

While Aries lays on the canvas, holding his back from the submission hold that forced him to tap, an exhausted Roderick Strong stands tall in the ring. The champion hoists his title high over his head, celebrating his first successful defense of the championship.

I'm all caught up now! Good Big Bang event, interested in who's the mystery man Jimmy Jacobs keeps mentioning.

The only thing I would like to see added to formatting are match ratings, since ROH has more focus on actual wrestling. Keep up the good work, man! :)

Thanks for the feedback! Appreciate it :)

I had thought about including match ratings before, not a bad idea moving forward. It took me a little while to get a hang of booking with this roster, because the matches need to be pushing 20 minutes to not be negatively effected, but there's a limited amount of guys on the starting roster who have the psychology for it. So my early ratings were mostly all over the place :D

That was some Roman Reigns dominance from Strong, just making them both tap haha. Curious if he's heading for a collision with Steen and Omega here.

Just wait until he starts demanding everyone acknowledges him next week :D

I felt he needed a convincing showing after the start of his title reign played out how it did. It certainly wasn't the reign I had planned... but as is almost always the case when you aren't playing with a million dollar company, stuff came up. :p

<span style="font-family:Georgia;"><span style="font-size:12px;"> Welcome to the first edition of WYHBM (What You Have Been Missing) WWR's quarterly recap series where we fill you in on the wrestling events you may have missed over the past 3 months. We kick off the inaugural edition focusing on the global wrestling behemoth that is World Wrestling Entertainment, who are coming off the 26th installment of their landmark </span></span><span style="font-family:Georgia;"><span style="font-size:12px;"><em>Wrestlemania</em></span></span><span style="font-family:Georgia;"><span style="font-size:12px;"> event. For those who have not followed the product closely so far this year, you may be surprised to learn that there's been a major shift in championship reigns at the behest of Vince McMahon, who felt the haphazardly shortly lived runs were damaging the prestige of the the company's top prizes. </span></span><span style="font-family:Georgia;"><span style="font-size:12px;"><strong>Christian</strong></span></span><span style="font-family:Georgia;"><span style="font-size:12px;">, the ECW Champion, is the longest reigning title holder at the moment, and every other reign within the company is in excess of 100 days. Taking a look at the Wrestlemania card this year, we saw Royal Rumble winner </span></span><span style="font-family:Georgia;"><span style="font-size:12px;"><strong>John Cena</strong></span></span><span style="font-family:Georgia;"><span style="font-size:12px;"> unsuccessfully challenge </span></span><span style="font-family:Georgia;"><span style="font-size:12px;"><strong>The Undertaker</strong></span></span><span style="font-family:Georgia;"><span style="font-size:12px;"> for the World Heavyweight title in the main event, while earlier in the night </span></span><span style="font-family:Georgia;"><span style="font-size:12px;"><strong>Sheamus</strong></span></span><span style="font-family:Georgia;"><span style="font-size:12px;"> defended the WWE Championship against the tag team champions </span></span><span style="font-family:Georgia;"><span style="font-size:12px;"><strong>Shawn Michaels</strong></span></span><span style="font-family:Georgia;"><span style="font-size:12px;"> & </span></span><span style="font-family:Georgia;"><span style="font-size:12px;"><strong>Triple H</strong></span></span><span style="font-family:Georgia;"><span style="font-size:12px;"> in a triple threat cage match.</span></span></p><p><span style="font-family:Georgia;"><span style="font-size:12px;"> </span></span></p><p><span style="font-family:Georgia;"><span style="font-size:12px;">

In terms of main roster debut, we've seen the likes of </span></span><span style="font-family:Georgia;"><span style="font-size:12px;"><strong>Alberto Banderas</strong></span></span><span style="font-family:Georgia;"><span style="font-size:12px;">, (Dos Caras Jr.) </span></span><span style="font-family:Georgia;"><span style="font-size:12px;"><strong>Bryan Danielson</strong></span></span><span style="font-family:Georgia;"><span style="font-size:12px;">, </span></span><span style="font-family:Georgia;"><span style="font-size:12px;"><strong>Hillbilly Duke Rotondo</strong></span></span><span style="font-family:Georgia;"><span style="font-size:12px;">, (Windham Rotunda) and </span></span><span style="font-family:Georgia;"><span style="font-size:12px;"><strong>Kaval</strong></span></span><span style="font-family:Georgia;"><span style="font-size:12px;"> (Low-Ki) all become fixtures on the main roster, although Kaval is the only one who has found a way to establish himself outside of regular appearances on </span></span><span style="font-family:Georgia;"><span style="font-size:12px;"><em>Superstars</em></span></span><span style="font-family:Georgia;"><span style="font-size:12px;">. Meanwhile in FCW they have announced the signing of former Ring of Honor 'jack of all trades' </span></span><span style="font-family:Georgia;"><span style="font-size:12px;"><strong>Larry Sweeney</strong></span></span><span style="font-family:Georgia;"><span style="font-size:12px;">.</span></span></p><p><span style="font-family:Georgia;"><span style="font-size:12px;"> </span></span></p><p><span style="font-family:Georgia;"><span style="font-size:12px;">

As of this time FCW still remains off the air, with no plans of it returning to it's TV broadcasting deal anytime soon. However it is rumored that a major facelift may be in the cards, and with it some major independent signings are also expected to take place. What this will mean for companies like TNA, Ring of Honor, CHIKARA and others who operate in WWE's shadow is yet to be seen. But the fallout could change the landscape of pro wrestling for a long time to come.</span></span></p><p><span style="font-family:Georgia;"><span style="font-size:12px;">

<span style="font-family:Georgia;"><span style="font-size:18px;"><strong>When It Rains It Pours, More Woes For Ring of Honor</strong></span></span></p><p> </p><p>

<span style="font-size:14px;"><span style="font-family:Georgia;">Things continue to go from bad to worse for Ring of Honor wrestling, as they announced today that </span></span><span style="font-size:14px;"><span style="font-family:Georgia;"><strong>Eddie Kingston</strong></span></span><span style="font-size:14px;"><span style="font-family:Georgia;">, who has been sidelined with a back injury sustained wrestling for another promotion since early February will miss an additional two months rehabbing after surgery. Kingston was just wrapping up a storyline with </span></span><span style="font-size:14px;"><span style="font-family:Georgia;"><strong>Chris Hero</strong></span></span><span style="font-size:14px;"><span style="font-family:Georgia;"> (one half of the Kings of Wrestling) and seemed destined for a move up the card prior to getting hurt. He is not the only member of the ROH staff to pick up a knock, as </span></span><span style="font-size:14px;"><span style="font-family:Georgia;"><strong>Matt Jackson</strong></span></span><span style="font-size:14px;"><span style="font-family:Georgia;">, </span></span><span style="font-size:14px;"><span style="font-family:Georgia;"><strong>Tyler Black</strong></span></span><span style="font-size:14px;"><span style="font-family:Georgia;">, and </span></span><span style="font-size:14px;"><span style="font-family:Georgia;"><strong>Jay Lethal</strong></span></span><span style="font-size:14px;"><span style="font-family:Georgia;"> have all picked up injuries of varying severity this year as well.</span></span></p><p><span style="font-size:14px;"><span style="font-family:Georgia;"> </span></span></p><p><span style="font-size:14px;"><span style="font-family:Georgia;">

</span></span><img alt="ZfXGJDX.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/ZfXGJDX.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p><span style="font-size:14px;"><span style="font-family:Georgia;"> </span></span></p><p><span style="font-size:14px;"><span style="font-family:Georgia;">

Speaking of </span></span><span style="font-size:14px;"><span style="font-family:Georgia;"><strong>Tyler Black</strong></span></span><span style="font-size:14px;"><span style="font-family:Georgia;">, insider sources are expecting a bidding war to take place between TNA and ROH to secure the youngster's signature on an exclusive deal. Black, who has established himself as a star in the making for Ring of Honor was poised for his first world title run with the company prior to suffering an injury in early March. Seeing TNA sign a former Ring of Honor main eventer is not exactly new, as </span></span><span style="font-size:14px;"><span style="font-family:Georgia;"><strong>Samoa Joe</strong></span></span><span style="font-size:14px;"><span style="font-family:Georgia;">, </span></span><span style="font-size:14px;"><span style="font-family:Georgia;"><strong>AJ Styles</strong></span></span><span style="font-size:14px;"><span style="font-family:Georgia;">, and </span></span><span style="font-size:14px;"><span style="font-family:Georgia;"><strong>Nigel McGuiness</strong></span></span><span style="font-size:14px;"><span style="font-family:Georgia;"> are amongst some of the more recognizable names previously associated with the promotion who can now be found wrestling in the iMPACT Zone. While </span></span><span style="font-size:14px;"><span style="font-family:Georgia;"><strong>Cary Silkin</strong></span></span><span style="font-size:14px;"><span style="font-family:Georgia;"> has reportedly told those within the company that he does not plan on letting another one of his big names leave, it's hard to imagine he would stand any chance competing with the financial muscle of TNA.</span></span></p><p><span style="font-size:14px;"><span style="font-family:Georgia;"> </span></span></p><p><span style="font-size:14px;"><span style="font-family:Georgia;">

Tyler Black isn’t the only roster member who could be headed elsewhere, as play-by-play commentator </span></span><span style="font-size:14px;"><span style="font-family:Georgia;"><strong>Mike Hogewood</strong></span></span><span style="font-size:14px;"><span style="font-family:Georgia;"> announced earlier today via social media that he has wrapped up his time with Ring of Honor and will return to college football broadcasting. Hogewood thanked Silkin and the company for giving him the opportunity, and said he will miss the fans the most. At this time there is no lead as far as who will take over his duties on the announce desk.</span></span></p><p><span style="font-size:14px;"><span style="font-family:Georgia;">

Dave Prazak welcomes us to Ring of Honor as he sits alone at the broadcast desk to kick off the show this week. He updates the viewers regarding Mike Hogewood's decision to pursue opportunities outside of ROH, and that the company wish nothing but the best for him. Moving forward Prazak will be on play-by-play duty while the company has brought in someone new to join him at the announce table. An individual that he feels will be a great addition to the show. In fact, here comes the man himself right now!

Don Callis struts out to the ring to a warm reception from the fans, before plopping down in a chair next to Prazak, and taking a few shots at his new co-caster immediately. In an effort to ignore Callis' egotistic demeanor, Prazak brings up tonight's main event. Originally scheduled to be a tag team grudge match pitting Kenny Omega and Kevin Steen against El Generico & Jay Lethal, the match had to be rescheduled as Lethal has not been cleared to compete yet following his match with Steen and the assault that followed. So instead, it will be Omega vs. Generico one on one tonight, with the tag team match set for Supercard of Honor instead!

Colt Cabana vs. Christin Abel

Truth Martini & Josh Raymond accompany House of Truth member Christin Abel to ringside for this one, as he desperately tries to turn around his bad run of form leading up to this match. Colt Cabana has other plans, as he uses his experience advantage to take control of his first match since losing to Rhino and Kevin Steen at Phoenix Rising. Abel fights hard, and for a few brief moments it looks like he may have a chance to pick up an upset win, but in the end Cabana puts him away with the Colt .45.

After a recap of last weekend's match between Jimmy Rave and Erick Stevens is shown (and a plug for the DVD copy of The Big Bang which is now on sale http://www.rohwrestling.com) the victor makes his way to the ring, eager to speak on the upcoming match he will have with Prince Nana of the The Embassy. Fired up, he requests the match take place right here, right now, as he's desperate to get his hands on the man who he refers to as a 'slimy S.O.B.' It isn't long before his remarks lead to the head of The Embassy making his way out to the ring.

Prince Nana sarcastically claps and congratulates Erick Stevens on the biggest win of his career. He adds if he ever saw that side of him while fighting for The Embassy he could've been a world champion. But the Prince knows that after this is all over, we won't ever see this side of Stevens again. He accuses his former client of being an unmotivated waste, and undeserving of a spot on this roster. As Stevens' gets angrier and angrier, he doesn't notice Jimmy Rave sneaking up behind him in the ring. Rave grabs him from behind, and locks in a sleeper hold just like the one that was used by Stevens himself on Ernie Osiris over the weekend. Prince Nana continues to mock him, and after a few minutes of Rave choking him out, even enters the ring so that he can pin his future opponent. Rave, acting as referee, counts to 3, and leaves to go ring the bell. The Embassy are all smiles as they head to the back, while Stevens is checked on in the ring.

Sonjay Dutt vs. Andy Ridge

The House of Truth get a second chance to pick up a win tonight, and this time it's the newest member Sonjay Dutt stepping up to the plate. His opponent, Andy Ridge, is a youngster who was trained by ROH's very own Delirious, and is still yet to pick up a win in a televised single's match at this point in his career. While he fights hard here, looking to outwork Truth Martini's newest pupil, his efforts are moot, as he falls victim to the Indian Summer neckbreaker, before being put away with the Hindu Press from the top rope.

Kenny Omega vs. El Generico

As explained by Dave Prazak earlier in the evening, this impromptu main event was originally going to be a tag team match following what took place after Kevin Steen beat Jay Lethal at The Big Bang, but because of medical concerns on Lethal's behalf, that match will take place next month instead. Omega has been red hot as of late coming into this one, and Generico is well aware of the challenge he has in front of him. The competitors exchange holds early, but it isn't long before the tempo picks up in the type of way you would expect in a match involving two of ROH's most exciting in-ring performers. Generico sends Omega out of the ring after finding himself in the driver's seat, but as he charges off the ropes for the tope con hilo, Omega reenters and lands a stiff v-trigger knee to his charging opponent. That's enough to find a near fall, but nothing more. The pair continue battling back and forth, until Omega looks for the One-winged Angel by lifting Generico up on his shoulders. Clever in his response, the masked luchador leans forward and grabs onto Omega's legs and rolls him up. It's almost enough for the three count, but a shoulder is up just in time to break the count. Frustrated as he returns to his feet, Omega charges towards his opponent, but once again quick reactions lead to another roll-up, and this time Omega can't escape! Generico secures the win!

Before El Generico can even think to celebrate his big win, Omega blindsides him and starts beating him down. He looks ready to deliver the One-winged Angel as a congrats to Generico for picking up the win... until someone emerges from the curtain.

Omega panics at first, but after realizing who is coming, begins to laugh and encourages Steen to join him in the ring. He puts Generico down, and invites Steen to put him away instead. After graciously accepting the offer, Steen pulls his rival towards him and is just about to deliver the package piledriver when another guest makes his way to the ring...

As Jay Lethal heads in for the save! Far from one hundred percent, Lethal is bandaged and dressed in jeans and a t-shirt. It matters not though, as his distraction is enough to allow Generico to roll out of harms way, as Omega and Steen are left alone in the ring, bitter over their missed opportunity.
