AEW DYNAMITE

WEDNESDAY WEEK 1, OCTOBER 2021

<hr color = gold>

AEW DARK: ELEVATION

1. Brian Cage def. Royce Isaacs

2. Kris Statlander def. Leva Bates

3. The Butcher & The Blade def. The Varsity Blondes

<hr color = gold>

CM Punk opened Dynamite to a huge ovation from the crowd. He said after fifteen long, long years, he is once again a professional wrestler and will have a professional wrestling match this Friday on the first ever episode of AEW Rampage. The camera panned to Darby Allin and Sting up in the rafters. Punk reiterated that Darby is a younger CM Punk, and a young CM Punk had to do a lot of losing and a lot of learning to get where he is now. The same will go for Darby, and Punk will be damned if he will let his past, Darby, ruin his future.

1. The Young Bucks def. Motor City Machine Guns - Dynamite opened hot with the Bucks taking on the team that were the Bucks before the Bucks, MCMG. Alex Shelley fell victim to a Meltzer Driver to end it.

Kenny Omega came to the ring to join his friends after the match. He congratulated them for the victory, and said that wins like this are what make the Elite the best faction in wrestling. Matt Jackson grabbed another mic and noted that Kenny has been doing a lot of losing lately. Kenny was taken aback by this, and assured his brothers that the last month has just been a rough patch. Matt said that they hope so, because if the Elite are the best ever, they need to back it up. In two weeks, when Kenny faces Bryan Danielson at AEW Dynamite: Awakening, Kenny's gotta bring his A-game and show the world that Kenny Omega is still a winner.

2. Altisimo def. Jack Evans - The debuting Altisimo (formerly known as Samuray Del Sol) defeated long-time high flyer Jack Evans in a showcase match. The crowd ate up everything Altisimo did. The announce team was also very high on Altisimo and noted that bright things lie ahead for him.

MJF and the rest of the Pinnacle were backstage. MJF said that before Wardlow's match with Matt Sydal, he wanted to take a few minutes to talk about something that has been bothering him. In an interview on Busted Open Radio, Paul Wight stated that MJF is overrated, and that Wight has seen a million MJFs come and go. Well, MJF claims that he's never seen anyone like Paul Wight. A literal giant in every sense of the word, but could never draw a dime. What kind of giant is that? MJF said that Wight needs to keep his mouth shut before the Pinnacle does it for him.

3. Wardlow def. Matt Sydal - A flurry of offense from Sydal was not enough to tame War Dog.

Post match, Wardlow grabbed a microphone and said that since the office won't give him real competition, he will have to do it himself. He challenged TNT Champion Eddie Kingston to a title match this Friday on the debut episode of AEW Rampage.

4. Leyla Hirsch def. KiLynn King - The Team Taz grappler made quick work of her opponent as Taz laughed on from ringside.

Leyla continued the beatdown after the match, until Hikaru Shida sprinted down to the ring with a kendo stick to stop her. Leyla quickly left the ring but Taz was very happy with Leyla's performance tonight.

5. Christian Cage def. QT Marshall - The Jurassic Express were able to fend off the Factory for the most part, enough for Christian to get a clean win over QT.

Afterward, the two groups collided in a huge brawl. After a few minutes, the two remaining in the ring were Christian and Nick Comoroto. Before either man could strike, Anthony Ogogo slid in behind Christian and gave him a gruesome punch right to the back of his head, laying him out cold. The Factory stood tall as AEW went to commercial.

A quick hype video played for AEW Rampage this Friday, headlined by CM Punk and Darby Allin. Other matches on the card are Ruby Soho vs. Yuka Sakazaki, and a TNT title match that will open the show between champion Eddie Kingston and challenger Wardlow.

6. AEW WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP: Hangman Adam Page © def. Ethan Page - Hangman proved to be the superior Page in a hell of a title match. Scorpio Sky attempted to interfere like he did last week, but the Dark Order chased him up the ramp and away from the ring, allowing Hangman to hit the Deadeye followed by a Buckshot Lariat for the victory and first title defense.

AEW RAMPAGE

FRIDAY WEEK 1, OCTOBER 2021

<hr color = gold>

Two years after the debut episode of AEW Dynamite, AEW Rampage starts his run on TNT. The success of AEW cannot be overstated, and with another hour on television, the network has full faith in the company to bring them quality programming every week.

1. TNT CHAMPIONSHIP: Eddie Kingston © def. Wardlow - Two big mean slapping meat in the first ever Rampage match. The Pinnacle attempted to interfere to aid War Dog, but Jon Moxley appeared with the IWGP US title and chased them all away.

Miro came to the ring for a promo. He said that he is upset with his God for letting him lose the TNT title to Eddie Kingston, but he vows to win back not only the TNT title, but the AEW World title as well. The lights went out, and Cody Rhodes made his entrance. Cody did his grand entrance and came to the ring to face off with an angry Miro. Miro asked why he was out here, but instead of answering, Cody hit Miro with two Cross Rhodes and left him lying. Cody stood over a fallen Miro with a huge smile as the crowd gave him a very mixed response.

We received a video package about NWA World Women's Champion Thunder Rosa. The video recapped her career in NWA, complete with footage, along with her time in AEW, notably her win over current AEW Women's World Champion Britt Baker and her victory over Serena Deeb to capture the title she currently holds.

2. Ruby Soho def. Yuka Sakazaki - Ruby's debut match was an excellent showcase for her, and the crowd loved every second of it. AEW Women's World Champion Britt Baker was seen watching the match alongside Rebel backstage.

TNT Champion Eddie Kingston stood alongside Alex Marvez backstage. Marvez stated that Eddie requested this interview so he could make a challenge for his next TNT title challenger. Eddie said that there is one man outside of AEW that he has been dying to face since he started in this business eighteen years ago. He called out Jun Akiyama of DDT. He said that he expects to see Akiyama this Wednesday on Dynamite.

Bryan Danielson came to the ring for a promo. He said he was going to make this quick. He noted that Kenny Omega is on a bit of a losing streak right now. He lost the AEW World title to Hangman Page at All Out, and then the Elite lost to Hangman, PAC and Kazarian a couple weeks ago on Dynamite. He said that Kenny Omega better get his head out of his ass, because if he wants to be able to defeat the REAL greatest wrestler of all time at Dynamite: Awakening, he needs to be at his best.

A rundown for Dynamite played next. The Factory group of QT Marshall, Nick Comoroto, Aaron Solow and Anthony Ogogo will take on Christian Cage and the entirety of the Jurassic Express in Jungle Boy, Luchasaurus and Marko Stunt. Ruby Soho will have her second match as she takes on Kris Statlander. Riho will take on Tay Conti. Eddie Kingston will defend the TNT title against his dream opponent, Jun Akiyama. And in the main event, Chris Jericho, Santana & Ortiz will face Kenny Omega and the Young Bucks in a rematch of the first ever Dynamite main event two years ago.

3. CM Punk def. Darby Allin - In Punk's first match in seven years, he was taken to his absolute limit by Darby Allin. The crowd went crazy for both men, giving them each equal cheers throughout. In the end, CM Punk hit a superplex, piledriver and Go To Sleep to pick up the clean victory.

Sting helped Darby to his feet after the match, and they each shook Punk's hand and all three held their hands high as the first episode of AEW Rampage went off the air.

Coming off of the first ever episode of AEW Rampage, Dynamite is just as stacked as rivalries heat up. TNT Champion Eddie Kingston challenged his dream opponent Jun Akiyama to a match which Akiyama accepted. Tay Conti and Riho will face off in a number one contenders match for the AEW Women's World Championship, a title match that will take place this Friday on the second episode of AEW Rampage. Christian Cage teams with his three buddies in the Jurassic Express to take on QT Marshall's Factory quartet of himself, Aaron Solo, Anthony Ogogo and Nick Comoroto. Ruby Soho will face Kris Statlander in singles action. In the main event, the Elite will face the Inner Circle's Chris Jericho and Santana & Ortiz in a rematch of the first ever episode of AEW Dynamite from October 2019.

3. Motor City Machine Guns def. Alex Reynolds & John Silver</p></div><p></p><p></p><p> </p><p>

<hr color = gold></p><p>

</p><div style="text-align:left;"><p>CM Punk opened the show and came to the ring to a huge pop. He thanked the crowd for still believing in him after so many years away from the ring, and even longer away from REAL professional wrestling. He thanked Darby Allin for taking him to his limit on Friday, and thanked Sting for being one of the best of all time. One day, Punk said, he wants to face the Stinger himself. Before Punk could say much else, he was attacked by the Men of the Year. Ethan Page and Scorpio Sky put the boots to him, and Ethan Page grabbed a microphone and said that he's tired of always falling short. Last week, he lost his AEW World title match, but this week he will make up for it. He hoisted Punk up for the Ego's Edge, but Darby's music hit and he and Sting came to the ring to fend off Men of the Year and help Punk to his feet. Page and Sky were more than happy with what they did, and smiled all the way up the ramp.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>1. The Factory (QT Marshall/Nick Comoroto/Aaron Solow/Anthony Ogogo) def. Christian Cage & Jurassic Express (Jungle Boy/Luchasaurus/Marko Stunt)</strong> - A fast-paced opening match. Jungle Boy got the most shine, but a punch from Ogogo took him out of the contest about three quarters of the way through. Marko Stunt would take the fall as another punch from Ogogo left him lying.</p><p> </p><p>

Bryan Danielson was standing with Alex Marvez for an interview when the Matt Jackson came into the frame. Matt said that he has some real nerve to waltz into AEW and claim he is the best in the world. Before Danielson could respond, Nick Jackson and Kenny Omega attacked him from behind. The Bucks helped Kenny Omega put Danielson through a table, and then were lifting him back up for a One Winged Angel on the concrete floor when Chris Jericho, Santana and Ortiz flew in to ward off the Elite, before helping Danielson up.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>2. Ruby Soho def. Kris Statlander </strong>- Ruby's second match is another victory as she took care of business against the Galaxy's Favorite Alien, Kris Statlander.</p><p> </p><p>

IWGP United States Champion Jon Moxley came to the ring with the title. He said that his boy Eddie Kingston taking on Jun Akiyama tonight gave him some ideas. If we're doing dream matches, there is a man in New Japan Pro Wrestling that he wants to take on. The man who helped NJPW through the Dark Ages, the man who single handedly saved the company, the man who they call the "Ace of the Universe"… but before he could say who it was, Minoru Suzuki appeared on the screen. Through subtitles, Suzuki said that Jon Moxley claims to be the toughest son of a bitch in wrestling, but that title belongs to Minoru Suzuki. In two weeks, Moxley will see Suzuki on AEW Dynamite!</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>3. TNT CHAMPIONSHIP:</strong> Eddie Kingston © def. Jun Akiyama - In Eddie's ultimate dream match, he was able to defeat Jun Akiyama. Post match, Eddie bowed to Akiyama and they shared a long handshake and hug as Eddie was visibly moved by the match he just had.</p><p> </p><p>

In a pre-recorded video, Miro spoke about Cody Rhodes. Miro asked how Cody Rhodes could dare attack a man like him. God has taught Miro how to forgive, but Cody Rhodes is not forgiven. With the strength endowed upon him, Miro will cleanse Cody Rhodes and turn his nightmare into a reality.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>4. Riho def. Tay Conti </strong>- An even match throughout, Riho came out victorious in just under ten minutes after a series of knee strikes. AEW Women's World Champion Britt Baker was seen watching this match from the comfort of a couch backstage.</p><p> </p><p>

After the match, Alex Marvez went to Britt Baker backstage on her couch. He told her that he has just been informed that this Friday on Rampage, Riho will challenge her for the AEW Women's World Championship. Britt was very upset by this news, and said she was going to go talk to Tony Khan herself. </p><p> </p><p>

MJF and the Pinnacle were backstage. MJF said that once again, Paul Wight cannot keep his mouth shut and is talking shit about the group on every radio show that is conned into booking him. MJF said that Wight's days are long gone, and the Pinnacle is not only the future, but the present of professional wrestling. MJF said that he spoke to Tony Khan and on the second episode of AEW Rampage this Friday, Paul Wight will lace up the boots for the first time in AEW and will take on the Pinnacle's Chairman, Shawn Spears. Spears was not happy and was about to protest but MJF told him not to worry; Wight can't move an inch without passing out anymore.</p><p> </p><p>

The announce team ran down the card for the second episode of AEW Rampage this Friday. The Sydal Brothers of Matt and Mike will take on the Wingmen's Peter Avalon & Cezar Bononi. Paul Wight will wrestle in an AEW ring for the first time as he takes on the Pinnacle's Shawn Spears. In the main event, AEW Women's World Champion Britt Baker will defend the title against Riho. Plus, after the main event, Tony Schiavone will hold an in-ring showdown for Kenny Omega and Bryan Danielson ahead of their big match next week at AEW Dynamite: Awakening.</p><p> </p><p>

<strong>5. Inner Circle (Chris Jericho & Santana & Ortiz) def. The Elite (Kenny Omega & The Young Bucks)</strong> - Miscommunication resulted in Omega giving Matt Jackson a V-Trigger, allowing Jericho to take out Omega with a Judas Effect as Santana and Ortiz hit a Street Sweeper on Nick for the victory. </p><p> </p><p>

Kenny apologized to the Bucks after the match, but the Bucks weren't having any of it and left the ring, leaving Kenny by himself as Dynamite went off the air.</p><p>

AEW RAMPAGE

FRIDAY WEEK 2, OCTOBER 2021

<hr color = gold>

1. AEW WOMEN'S WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP: Dr Britt Baker DMD © def. Riho - In a barnburner of an opener, Britt Baker successfully defended her title against longtime rival Riho.

Christian Cage was in the ring with Tony Schiavone. He said he's had lots of highs and lots of lows since coming to AEW. He said that his lowest low is losing to QT Marshall's Factory in the multiman match on Wednesday. He said that the one man in the Factory that has grabbed his attention is Anthony Ogogo. The kid has a bright future, but he's messing with a veteran who's won more titles than Ogogo has had matches. He said Ogogo should keep his company close, because they will be on a collision course soon.

2. The Sydal Brothers def. The Pretty Picture - A quick match that got Matt and Mike Sydal over.

As the Sydal Brothers were celebrating, the Butcher and the Blade attacked them in the ring. Led by Matt Hardy, the hard-hitting duo laid waste to the Sydal Brothers as Hardy said that the Hardy Family Office will reclaim their spots in the AEW pecking order.

The announce team ran down the stacked card for next week's AEW Dynamite: Awakening. Just signed, Ricky Starks will defend the FTW Championship against Brian Pillman Jr. In a #1 contenders match for the AEW World Tag Team Championships, the Best Friends will take on the Good Brothers. Thunder Rosa will defend the NWA World Women's Championship against Team Taz's Leyla Hirsch. And in the main event, the dream match between Bryan Danielson and Kenny Omega will finally take place.

3. Paul Wight def. Shawn Spears - Paul Wight was massively over to the live crowd and in his AEW debut, defeated Shawn Spears with relative ease.

MJF, Wardlow and FTR jumped into the ring after the match and took out Paul Wight. MJF grabbed Spears' chair and hit Wight in his knees. MJF grabbed a microphone and told Wight that he'd see him at Dynamite: Awakening.

Tony Schiavone introduced Kenny Omega and Bryan Danielson for the "Dream Match Showdown" and told them that they had the rest of the show to discuss whatever they'd like. Kenny talked about the incredible year that Danielson has had. From main eventing the "Show of the Former Immortals", to leaving there to join a real professional wrestling company. Kenny told Danielson that he's going to suffer the same result here in AEW. While Danielson was wasting away, Kenny was breaking star systems and putting TWO companies on his back. Danielson responded by saying that he's glad Kenny gets to air his frustrations, because there are some heavily suppressed feelings that Kenny holds inside. Kenny knows that he can't beat Danielson. He couldn't beat Hangman Adam Page in singles, and he couldn’t beat Dark Order, Kazarian, PAC, or the Inner Circle in tags. Danielson said if Kenny really wants to be the best in the world, he might have to look at the company he keeps. The two had a staredown as Rampage went off the air.

Chugging full speed ahead! As I mentioned previously, I booked up through August 2022 a few months ago so I pretty far ahead in terms of both the booking and the shows themselves. The next show is AEW Dynamite: Awakening, the final Dynamite special before we get to Full Gear the final week of November.

Thank you to everyone who has jumped back on board!
