Dream Clash Tour Night #1 in SAISHO Square, Sendai, Tohoku Region

In a bout that had decent wrestling but didn't have much heat, Hammer Hadley defeated Ritsu Ibata in 6:36 by submission with a Choke Sleeper. This match was part of the '2020 YL Cup Block B' tournament. 36

The big American Hammer Hadley had a decisive performance against Ritsu Ibata. The match wasn’t long but Hammer was very physical and controlled the pace of the match.

In a decent match, Noritaka Imakura defeated James Diaz in 9:05 by pinfall with a Northern Lights Suplex. This match was part of the '2020 YL Cup Block A' tournament. 33

In a young lion battle between Makioka-Gun and American Impact as Imakura took on James Diaz. James Diaz continues to be impressive, the big physical gaijin that he is, but Imakura showed what he has been learning from the Prowling Tiger and managed to pull off a victory with his Northern Lights Suplex.

In a bout that had a decent reaction from the crowd but terrible wrestling, Kawanari Enomoto defeated Taiji Chajim a in 7:48 by pinfall with a Belly To Belly Suplex. This match was part of the '2020 YL Cup Block B' tournament. 20

One half of the Tokyo Mountains, Kawanari Enomoto was able to show what he can do as a singles wrestler with a win over Taiji Chajim. The big Taiji was able to stand toe-to-toe with Kawanari for several minutes but Enomoto was able to pull out the victory.

In a decent match, Iron Hyodo defeated Goro Hatamoto in 8:52 by submission with a Sleeper Hold. This match was part of the '2020 YL Cup Block A' tournament. 32

Club Miwa representative Iron Hyodo was able to get a good win here and display some of his more technical leanings. And while still a young lion, Hyodo is starting to use some of Miwa’s moves. Goro looked solid out there as well.

In a bout that had great wrestling and a decent reaction from the crowd, The Diamond Dogs defeated Pavel Vanzycha and Irwin Gutmann in 13:46 when Motty Kuroda pinned Pavel Vanzycha with a Sweep DDT. 56

With the injury to Billy Robinson, it looks like PAvel Vanyzcha and Irwin Gutmann are going to be teaming together full time for the European Dragons. They looked very good in this outing against the more experienced Diamond Dogs but the tag team experience of the Diamond Dogs was ultimately too much for them.

In a good match, Makioka-Gun (Zeshin Makioka, Danjuro Kikuchi, Shuzo Utagawa and Koichi Kajiwara) defeated Lethal Strong Brigade (Akira Arato, Gidayu Katou, Azumamaro Kita and Fujio Narahashi) in 20:41 when Zeshin Makioka pinned Akira Arato with a DDT. 52

With Zeshin Makioka and Azumamaro Kita on a collision course at Dream Clash, they met in this big eight man tag team match with their two factions. Makioka and Kita mostly stayed apart and when they did interact with eachother it looked like Kita had the edge in speed and in precision with his strikes. In the end; however, it was Makioka and his DDT that put away Akira Arato.

In a bout that had a decent reaction from the crowd but terrible wrestling, Taiji Chajima defeated Ritsu Ibata in 6:15 by pinfall with a Sit-Out Spinebuster. This match was part of the '2020 YL Cup Block B' tournament. 27

Chajima and Ibata were both looking to get their first win after losing their opening matches. Both men are clearly still young lions learning the trade and it was a little sloppy. Chajima was able to pull it out with a Sit-Out Spinebuster and get the win.

In a bout that had decent wrestling but didn't have much heat, Hammer Hadley defeated Shuga Amano in 8:53 by pinfall with a Lariat. This match was part of the '2020 YL Cup Block B' tournament. 37

After his impressive win night one, Hammer Hadley took on Shuga Amano in Shuga’s first match of the tournament. Shuga brought the fight right to the big American, but ultimately Hammer Hadley’s ultra-physical style which seems tailor made for SAISHO and Japan was too much and Hadley hit a big lariat to win his second straight tournament match/.

In a bout that had a decent reaction from the crowd but sub-par wrestling, Noritaka Imakura defeated Goro Hatamoto in 7:39 by pinfall with a Northern Lights Suplex. This match was part of the '2020 YL Cup Block A' tournament. 32

Noritaka Imakura continues to make Zeshin Makioka proud when he scored his second tournament victory. Goro Hatomoto put up a valiant effort, but Imakura’s Northern Lights Suplex proved to be the difference maker.

In a bout that had a decent reaction from the crowd but sub-par wrestling, Iron Hyodo drew with Wataru Kikumoto in 10:00 when the time limit expired. This match was part of the '2020 YL Cup Block A' tournament. 31

Wataru Kikumoto made his tournament debut against Iron Hyodo and the two men really took it to each other but it was clear that both men are young. Kikumoto came close to putting Iron Hyodo away several times, but Hyodo kept finding away out of trouble. Hyodo had the Sleeper Hold locked in as time expired and the two men wrestled to a draw.

In a bout that had good wrestling and a decent reaction from the crowd, Arato & Katou defeated Irwin Gutmann and Pavel Vanzycha in 13:22 when Gidayu Katou pinned Pavel Vanzycha with a Danger Driver. 50

Arato & Katou brought a lot of hard strikes to against the European Dragons duo. Irwin and Pavel continue to build experience together and they do have an easy chemistry between their technical styles. Pavel hit several big suplexes on Arato but in the end, it was Katou hitting the Danger Driver that made all the difference.

In a good match, Quick Kick Nakao, Kenko Takemitsu and The Diamond Dogs defeated Golden Resurrection (Azumamaro Shimizu, Ryobe Uno, Ichiro Mitsukuri and Koyo Kinoshita) in 22:40 when Jimmy Stratosphere pinned Koyo Kinoshita with a Frog Splash. 51

The main event was a hard hitting eight man tag with Golden Resurrection finding themselves on the surprising end of a loss when Jimmy Stratosphere pinned Koyo Kinoshita. The Diamond Dogs are building a lot of momentum heading into next month’s A-1 Tag Team Grand Prix but also continue to make a case for why they should get a Destiny Tag Team Title shot.

In a bout that didn't have much heat and terrible wrestling, Taiji Chajima drew with Shuga Amano in 10:00 when the time limit expired. This match was part of the '2020 YL Cup Block B' tournament. 27

Taiji Chajima and Shuga Amano were given a lot of time, probably too much time given their experience, to fight it out. Taiji came in with one win and one loss while Shuga Amano only has a loss on his record. They fought to a time limit draw.

In a bout that had a decent reaction from the crowd but terrible wrestling, Ritsu Ibata defeated Kawanari Enomoto in 6:48 by pinfall with a Fireman's Carry Slam. This match was part of the '2020 YL Cup Block B' tournament. 28

Ibata took advantage of Enomoto’s injured back and attacked it for the duration of the match. He hit a running knee to the back before hitting the Fireman’s Carry Slam to score his first victory of the tournament.

In a decent match, James Diaz defeated Iron Hyodo in 8:01 by pinfall with an Asian Thumb Spike. This match was part of the '2020 YL Cup Block A' tournament.37

Jams Diaz scored his first victory in a very physical match -- and what was the best match of tonight’s four tournament matches. He and Iron Hyodo seem to be pretty natural opponents and every time Hyodo went for his Sleeper Hold, James Diaz used a big slam to get the momentum back.

In a bout that had a decent reaction from the crowd but sub-par wrestling, Wataru Kikumoto defeated Goro Hatamoto in 9:22 by submission with a STF. This match was part of the '2020 YL Cup Block A' tournament. 29

Wataru Kikumoto scored his first victory of the tour when he forced Goro Hatamoto to submit to the STF. Goro was an early favorite to come out of this tournament with a win but so far Goro has lost all three of his matches.

In a bout that had good wrestling and a decent reaction from the crowd, Generation First Time (Torch Nakazawa, Kinji Akamatsu and MUSCLE Serizawa) defeated European Dragons (Nigel Svensson, Irwin Gutmann and Lenny Mochin) in 14:31 when Torch Nakazawa pinned Irwin Gutmann with a Tsunami Legdrop. 49

A good eight man tag team match that kicked the action up a notch from the four tournament matches. Torch Nakazawa was given a platform to showoff his new spot again and he hit it just before the Tsunami Legdrop. Nigel Svensson looked frustrated with his team and looks like he’s going to be working the European Dragons extra hard during trainig.

In a superb match, KAZ defeated Danjuro Kikuchi in 22:28 by pinfall with a Super Rana. 53

The main event really delivered. Mr. SAISHO was on full display against Danjuro Kikuchi. The young Danjuro is probably the best wrestler in Makioka-Gun outside of the Destiny Crown Champion himself, but he was unsuccessful in scoring what would have been the biggest win of his career.

Main Event

Singles Match

Sixty Minute Time Limit

Destiny Crown Championship

Challenger Azumamaro Kita versus 25th Champion "The Prowling Tiger" Zeshin Makioka

Kita may be a pillar of Saisho, but Makioka is the crown Jewel paced atop that pedestal.

Semi Final Match

Tag Team Match

Forty-Five Minute Time Limit

Destiny Tag Team Championship

Challengers The Diamond Dogs versus 24th Champions The Golden Bulls

I bet against the Diamond Dogs last time, but they've proved me wrong and have been picking up a lot of victories so I'll take them here.

Singles Match

Forty-Five Minute Time Limit

Roll with the Dragon Championship

Challenger Sotatsu Sarumara versus 1st Champion "The Golden Dragon" Azumamaro Shimizu

I have no idea who'll be the one to finally unseat Shimizu, but I don't think it's going to be a guy in his mid 40s.

Special Attraction

Singles Match

Thirty Minute Time Limit

Motoyuki Miyake versus Mitsunari Fugunaga

Fuganaga has huge name value from his time in BHOTWG, so I imagine you're building him up to clash with one of your bigger stars.

Singles Match

Forty-Five Minute Time Limit

Ride the Tiger Championship

Challenger Aztec Prince versus 18th Champion Ox Mastadon

This could go either way, but I think Ox fits with the Saisho vibe than Aztec Prince.

Opening Match

Singles Match

Twenty Minute Time Limit

Young Lions Cup Finale

Block A Winner Wataru Kikumoto versus Block B Winner Hammer Hadley

Part of me thinks Hammer will lose here since he went undefeated in the round robin, but just going by match quality it seems like Hadley has been the better performer so I'll take him here.

Destiny Crown Championship

Challenger Azumamaro Kita versus 25th Champion "The Prowling Tiger" Zeshin Makioka

Kita just isn't in Zenshin's league, he's not even a proper main eventer, at least not yet

Destiny Tag Team Championship

Challengers The Diamond Dogs versus 24th Champions The Golden Bulls

Only title switch of the night, the Dogs can be trusted with carrying the belts while the Bulls continue to improve

Roll with the Dragon Championship

Challenger Sotatsu Sarumara versus 1st Champion "The Golden Dragon" Azumamaro Shimizu

Never liked Shimizu, but don't think Sarumara is the way to go

Motoyuki Miyake versus Mitsunari Fugunaga

Fugu's only here to give Miyake a good match and put him over

Ride the Tiger Championship

Challenger Aztec Prince versus 18th Champion Ox Mastadon

Ox is too good to lose and his faction can't take another hit with a title loss after all the injuries

Young Lions Cup Finale

Block A Winner Wataru Kikumoto versus Block B Winner Hammer Hadley

He was my pick to win since the tournament was announced

In a pre-show bout that had good wrestling and a decent reaction from the crowd, KAZ won a battle royal in 17:33. The other members of the 'final four' were Fujio Narahashi, Nigel Svensson and Isoruko Arakaki, with Fujio Narahashi being the final elimination. Nigel Svensson got the most eliminations over the course of the match. 56

Block A Winner Wataru Kikumoto versus Block B Winner Hammer Hadley

The Young Lion’s Cup was brought to the ring in advance of the match and then Wataru Kikumoto and Hammer Hadley came to the ring. Hammer was accompanied by fellow American Impact young lions PJ Strong, Dreadnought, and James Diaz. Both men are block winners and Hammer Hadley has come into the match undefeated in the tournament. The match started off slow. Hadley was looking to use his size and strength and physicality while Kikumoto also refused to back down or be intimidated. The match was a solid, but unspectacular event. It was built to Hammer Hadley hitting the Death Valley Driver for the pin.

He was presented with the trophy and it was announced that he would no longer be classified as a Young Lion moving from here.

In a decent match, Hammer Hadley defeated Wataru Kikumoto in 9:08 by pinfall with a Death Valley Driver. Hammer Hadley wins the SAISHO Young Lion Cup title.

Challenger Aztec Prince versus 18th Champion Ox Mastadon

The reigning CILL Mexican Champion, and currently undefeated in Japan, Aztec Prince challenged the also undefeated (at least in singles competition) and reigning Ride the Tiger Champion, Ox Mastadon. Ox controlled the early portion of the match. He was all size and strength and was working like Dread worked through his Japan career. He slammed Prince around and used his size to slow him down. Aztec Prince took a beating but then started to fight back, channeling the magic of his mask or his spirit, and started hammering Ox back. Ox leaned into every shot and Prince really drove his forearms into Ox’s body. Prince hit a big Superkick that stagger Ox and then – much to the delight of everyone in attendance – he hit a T-bone suplex that sent the 400 pound Ox Mastadon through the air. It got a big reaction from the crowd to see Ox suplexed like that. It also got Aztec Prince a near fall. Prince tried to lift Mastadon up for a powerbomb, but he oculdn’t get the big man up like that and Ox countered into the Ten Ton Splash and got the pinfall and the third defence of the championship.

In a bout that had great wrestling and a decent reaction from the crowd, Ox Mastadon defeated Aztec Prince in 12:53 by pinfall with a Ten Ton Splash. Ox Mastadon makes defence number three of the SAISHO Ride The Tiger title.

“Blue Violence” Motoyuki Miyake versus Mitsunari Fugunaga

Motoyuki Miyake came out to the ring in his trademark blue trunks, boots, gloves and knee pads. His opponent? Former BCG Openweight Champion Mitsunari Fugunaga. Fugunaga brought some name value to the match and for “Blue Violence” this was his biggest singles match opportunity as far as name opponents. Fugunaga looks like the same kind of ruthless fighter that Miyake looks like and this was a very physical match that felt like a fight. The two men hit each other with hard strikes over and over again. Fugunaga hit Miyake with everything he could but Miyake kept coming. He kept fighting through all of Fugunaga’s punches and forearms and asked for more and then Motoyuki suddenly hit a vicious kick to the side of Mitsunari Fugunaga’s head. Fugunaga dropped to the canvas and Miyake made the pinfall and got the huge win.

In an exceptional match, Motoyuki Miyake defeated Mitsunari Fugunaga in 15:27 by pinfall with a Knock Out Kick.

Challenger Sotatsu Sarumara versus 1st Champion "The Golden Dragon" Azumamaro Shimizu

Azumamaro Shimizu, who has been one of the most impressive champions in Japan this year with the way he has defended the championship and put an entire division on the map, was challenged by veteran Sotatsu Sarumara. The two men engaged in what is becoming the norm for Shimizu, incredibly-well wrestled technical matches where suplexes and submission holds are the norm. Sarumara, the Master of the Armlock, spent the match trying to take apart Shimizu’s arms. He attacked the shoulders and used several different armlock variations. He was trying to rip Shimizu’s arm out of socket but Shimizu kept finding counters and ways to avoid being in holds for too long – though as the match went on Shimizu’s arm looked worse and worse. He stopped using his left arm for a stretch and went all right arm as he found a way to fight into position to hit a big DDT that set up the Figure Four Necklock and forced a submission victory.

In a bout that had fantastic heat and great wrestling, Azumamaro Shimizu defeated Sotatsu Sarumara in 22:52 by submission with a Figure Four Necklock. Azumamaro Shimizu makes defence number seven of the SAISHO Roll with the Dragon title.

Challengers The Diamond Dogs versus 24th Champions The Golden Bulls

The Destiny Tag Team Title match was up next. The Diamond Dogs are riding a big wave of momentum coming off of their big victory last month over KAZ and Motoyuki Miyake. They’re definitely looking to win the Destiny Tag Team Championships for the third time while the Golden Bulls look to continue their run as the top tag team in SAISHO with another defence here. The Diamond Dogs used their speed to take control early on. They hit fast and quick and used lots of tags back and forth to keep themselves fresh and keep the Golden Bulls, particularly Koyo Kinoshita, off balance. They hit a springboard dropkick that was real good but then Ichiro Mitsukuri was tagged in and the intensity changed. Mitsukuri hit several explosive slams and took control of the match. He hit the STO on Jimmy Stratosphere and that was that.

In a bout that had great wrestling and good heat, The Golden Bulls defeated The Diamond Dogs in 14:05 when Ichiro Mitsukuri pinned Jimmy Stratosphere with a S.T.O.. The Golden Bulls make defence number three of the SAISHO Destiny Tag Team titles.

Challenger Azumamaro Kita versus 25th Champion "The Prowling Tiger" Zeshin Makioka

The main event was next. Former three time Destiny Crown Champion, Azumamaro Kita was challenging The Prowling Tiger, Zeshin Makioka, for the belt. Makioka has had an iron grip on the championship for the past yera – and it was at this event last year that he won the Destiny Crown. These two men put on a sensational contest with Makioka controlling the early portion of the match with his physical brawling. He pummeled Kita with strikes and several suplexes. Kita weathered the storm and ducked under a clothesline and immediately went to work with his own set of strikes. He focused his strikes – like most of Makioka’s opponents – on the left leg that Makioka injured earlier this year. The same injury that hampered Makioka in the A1 Grand Prix earlier this year and caused him to miss some time healing. Kita was vicious as he took apart the knee. He kicked at it with hard kicks and really worked it over. Makioka continued to fight back, fighting with the wounded leg and the crowd was into all of it. They went into a finish sequence with lots of near falls and each time Kita looked like he had Makioka put away but Makioka kicked out, the people exploded. They were hooked. In the end, Makioka hit the Destiny Fusion that has become his new trademark finish and that was it. He has officially completed a year as Destiny Crown Champion.

In an exceptional match, Zeshin Makioka defeated Azumamaro Kita in 34:44 by pinfall with a Destiny Fusion. Zeshin Makioka makes defence number eight of the SAISHO Destiny title.

A1 Tag Team Grand Prix Tour Night #1 in SAISHO Square, Sendai, Tohoku Region

Tues. Week 1, October 2020

120 Fans

In a decent match, Hirokazu Yamanoue and Kenko Takemitsu defeated The Vikings in 10:29 when Hirokazu Yamanoue submitted Ragnar The Viking with a Cross Armbreaker. This match was part of the '2020 A1 TT Grand Prix Block B' tournament. 46

Veteran Hirokazu Yamanoue, former PGHW wrestler who also happens to be a three-time Destiny Crown and one time Destiny Tag Team Champion, made his return to SAISHO here but was injured in the contest. Shortly after it was announced that Quick Kick Nakao would be replacing him in subsequent matches in the tournament. The Vikings made their Japanese debut here and while they were unsuccessful, the former four-time CILL Tag Team Champions were very impressive in both their entrance and their in-ring work.

In a bout that had superb wrestling and great heat, Black Iron Corps defeated Masashi Urogataya and Sotatsu Sarumara in 13:42 when Azumamaro Kita pinned Sotatsu Sarumara with a Black Iron Lariat. This match was part of the '2020 A1 TT Grand Prix Block A' tournament. 58

The Black Iron Corps looked excellent against two veterans who, while not a full time team, look like they could be trying to build one. Both Urogataya and Sarumara looked impressive, but Azumamro Kita had something to prove after coming up short in his Destiny Crown match at Dream Clash

In a bout that had great wrestling and a decent reaction from the crowd, The Diamond Dogs defeated Pavel Vanzycha and Irwin Gutmann in 14:17 when Motty Kuroda pinned Irwin Gutmann with a Sweep DDT. Jimmy Stratosphere carried the match in terms of in-ring performance. This match was part of the '2020 A1 TT Grand Prix Block B' tournament. 54

The Diamond Dogs rebounded from their tag title loss with a big win here to start off the A1 Tag Team Grand Prix. The Diamond Dogs want another shot at the Destiny Tag belts and they also want to win their Grand Prix. Vanzycha and Gutmann are still trying to establish themselves as a duo and they came close to winning several times.

In a decent match, Arato & Katou defeated Marcel LeFleur and Americana Jr in 15:01 when Gidayu Katou pinned Marcel LeFleur with a Danger Driver. This match was part of the '2020 A1 TT Grand Prix Block A' tournament. 46

The ACPW duo of LeFleur and Americana Jr made their debut here. LeFleur is the protege of Duane Stone and wrestles alot like the legendary Stone brother while Americana Jr is, of course, the protege of the gaijin Americana. The two men don’t team together in Canada but they did here and they came out of the gate trying to prove something, but ultimately Gidayu Katou overwhelmed both of them. Arato is the weaker link of the team with Katou, but Katou’s vicious strikes led the team to a victory.

In a bout that had good wrestling and a decent reaction from the crowd, Arakaki & Serizawa defeated Danjuro Kikuchi and Shuzo Utagawa in 13:51 when Isoruko Arakaki pinned Danjuro Kikuchi with an Arakaki Spike. This match was part of the '2020 A1 TT Grand Prix Block B' tournament. 47

Generation First Time representatives and former champions Arakaki and Serizawa were very impressive in their win against Makioka-Gun. It looks like Kikuchi and Utagawa are going to start teaming more regularly and while they came up short, they were starting to show that they were building

In a superb match, KAZ and Motoyuki Miyake defeated The Golden Bulls in 19:16 when KAZ pinned Ichiro Mitsukuri with a surprise cradle. In terms of in-ring work, KAZ was head and shoulders above everyone else. This match was part of the '2020 A1 TT Grand Prix Block A' tournament. 54

The main event had the Destiny Tag Team Champions in non-title tournament action. They controlled most of the match, but Mr. SAISHO himself was able to hit the cradle roll up and get the surprising victory. The Golden Bulls looked very frustrated that they started the tournament off with a loss.

In a decent match,</span><span style="color:#000000;"><strong> Quick Kick Nakao and Kenko Takemitsu defeated Danjuro Kikuchi and Shuzo Utagawa</strong></span><span style="color:#000000;"> in 12:11 when Quick Kick Nakao pinned Shuzo Utagawa with a Double Footed Stomp. This match was part of the 2020 A1 TT Grand Prix Block B tournament. </span><span style="color:#000000;"><strong>46</strong></span></p><p><span style="color:#000000;">

</span><span style="color:#000000;"><em>Nakao made his tournament debut as the fill in. Kikuchi and Utagawa have not dropped two straight in the tournament while Takemitsu has won two matches – with two different opponents. </em></span></p><p><span style="color:#000000;"> </span></p><p><span style="color:#000000;">

In an exceptional match, </span><span style="color:#000000;"><strong>KAZ and Motoyuki Miyake drew with Black Iron Corps</strong></span><span style="color:#000000;"> in 20:00 when the time limit expired. Motoyuki Miyake was the weak link, struggling to keep up with everyone else's in-ring performance. This match was part of the '2020 A1 TT Grand Prix Block A' tournament. </span><span style="color:#000000;"><strong>62</strong></span></p><p><span style="color:#000000;">

</span><span style="color:#000000;"><em>In what was one of the most highly anticipated matches of Block A, Club Miwa and the Black Iron Corps went to a draw. The action was incredible and the fans here in Sendai were rocking with every move and when the bell rang to signal the draw, all four men got a standing ovation.</em></span></p><p><span style="color:#000000;"> </span></p><p><span style="color:#000000;">

In a bout that had good wrestling and a decent reaction from the crowd, </span><span style="color:#000000;"><strong>Pavel Vanzycha and Irwin Gutmann defeated Arakaki & Serizawa</strong></span><span style="color:#000000;"> in 14:36 when Pavel Vanzycha submitted MUSCLE Serizawa with a Cross Armlock. This match was part of the '2020 A1 TT Grand Prix Block B' tournament. </span><span style="color:#000000;"><strong>49</strong></span></p><p><span style="color:#000000;">

</span><span style="color:#000000;"><em>After losing their first match, the European Dragons duo was able to get on the board with points. The former Destiny Tag Team Champions suffered their first loss of the tournament. Pavel and Irwin have shown some really good chemistry as a duo and the two technicians could have found new life as a team. </em></span></p><p><span style="color:#000000;"> </span></p><p><span style="color:#000000;">

In a decent match, </span><span style="color:#000000;"><strong>Masashi Urogataya and Sotatsu Sarumara defeated Marcel LeFleur and Americana Jr</strong></span><span style="color:#000000;"> in 14:38 when Masashi Urogataya pinned Americana Jr with a Jumbo Backdrop Suplex. This match was part of the '2020 A1 TT Grand Prix Block A' tournament. </span><span style="color:#000000;"><strong>45</strong></span></p><p><span style="color:#000000;">

</span><span style="color:#000000;"><em>The veteran duo of Urogataya and Sarumara got their first victory in the tournament over the Canadian representatives. LeFleur and Americana are an inexperienced duo and while they have wrestled with each other for awhile, they’ve never been partners until this tour and their inexperience is what cost them here.</em></span></p><p><span style="color:#000000;"> </span></p><p><span style="color:#000000;">

In a bout that had good wrestling and a decent reaction from the crowd,</span><span style="color:#000000;"><strong> The Diamond Dogs defeated The Vikings</strong></span><span style="color:#000000;"> in 14:29 when Jimmy Stratosphere pinned Uhtred The Viking with a Sweep DDT. In terms of in-ring work, Jimmy Stratosphere was head and shoulders above everyone else. Uhtred The Viking was the weak link, struggling to keep up with everyone else's in-ring performance. This match was part of the '2020 A1 TT Grand Prix Block B' tournament. </span><span style="color:#000000;"><strong>51</strong></span></p><p><span style="color:#000000;">

</span><span style="color:#000000;"><em>Jimmy Stratosphere has looked incredible in his last several outings and this was no different. He was the clear best wrestler in the match and the Mexican duo fell short for the second night in a row while The Diamond Dogs have moved to two wins so far.</em></span></p><p><span style="color:#000000;"> </span></p><p><span style="color:#000000;">

In a bout that had great wrestling and a decent reaction from the crowd, </span><span style="color:#000000;"><strong>The Golden Bulls defeated Arato & Katou</strong></span><span style="color:#000000;"> in 19:22 when Ichiro Mitsukuri pinned Akira Arato with a S.T.O.. This match was part of the '2020 A1 TT Grand Prix Block A' tournament. </span><span style="color:#000000;"><strong>52</strong></span></p><p><span style="color:#000000;">

</span><span style="color:#000000;"><em>After losing their first tournament match in shocking fashion, the Destiny Tag Team Champions rebounded here with a victory in an impressive outing against Arato and Katou. Tag Team Match

Sixty Minute Time Limit

A-1 Tag Team Grand Prix Finals

Block A Winners Arato & Katou versus Block B Winners The Diamond Dogs

I do think the Diamond Dogs are the better team, but they've already gotten a title shot so I'll go out on a limb and pick Arato & Katou.

Semi-Final Contest

Eight-Man Tag

Thirty Minute Time Limit

The Vikings, Marcel LeFleur, & Americana Jr versus Makioka-Gun

The guest teams can put over your roster before you send them home.

Singles Match

Thirty Minute Time Limit

Ride the Tiger Championship

Challenger Isoruko Arakaki versus 18th Champion Ox Mastadon

I think Ox is going to hold this belt for a while yet.

Singles Match

Thirty Minute Time Limit

Motoyuki Miyake versus Quick Kick Nakao

Miyake got a huge win on the last show, so I can't imagine him losing here.

Singles Match

Thirty Minute Time Limit

Ryobe Uno versus Torch Nakazawa

Uno is someone who could develop into a star, while Torch isn't likely to ever break out of the undercard.

Ten Man Tag Team Match

Thirty Minute Time Limit

Hirokazu Yamanoue, Masashi Urogataya, Kenko Takemitsu, Sotatsu Sarumara, & Ogai Miki versus European Dragons

Ten mans can go either way, but I'll almost always pick an established unit over a random assortment of guys; especially since Urogataya is the only one of that group I'd really rate.

Opening Match

Tag Team Match

Thirty Minute Time Limit

Club Miwa [KAZ & Hyodo] versus Black Iron Corps

Hyodo is the clear fall guy here.
