Kimberly
This is fantastic. Can't wait until the next show. You won't have to wait much longer - I will be posting tomorrow. The angles are written, I just have to do the matches and format.
Dawn
How do you guys do the colored lines to separate the angles in the format, if you don't mind me asking? Definitely more convenient than copy pasting an image 20 times.

After showing the path of Chris Jericho and Stone Cold Steve Austin, we now know that our Backlash main event is set: Jericho vs Austin for the World Heavyweight Championship. With Backlash only six days away, what will happen tonight on Monday Night Raw? <iframe width="560" height="315" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/VTq5u3Arco4" title="YouTube video player" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture" allowfullscreen></iframe> <div style="color:rgb(215, 21, 21);font-family:Roboto;font-size:14px;font-style:normal;font-weight:normal;text-align:center;"><div style="font:44px Roboto;"><b> APRIL WEEK 4, 2002 SAVVIS CENTER ST. Next to Flair is the Big Gold Belt in a glass case on a podium as Flair talks about the importance of this title to the history of the industry, but more important is the importance of this title to the future of Raw. It is no secret that when the WWE split into two distinct companies, it was done so out of necessity. Part of that necessity is the fact that Ric Flair and Vince McMahon could not coexist as Co-Owners of a solitary company. But the other is to create competition among these two companies so that the fans can be the ones that truly reap the benefits. And so that is why this title is so important to Raw. Flair says he is thrilled that the finals will feature arguably the greatest champion of all time, Stone Cold Steve Austin…and the man that beat Austin, twice, over the last four months…Chris Jericho. There are no two finer athletes to represent Raw. And one of these men, will hold what's inside this case in just six days but for Ric Flair and Raw? There can be no bigger match. And no bigger moment than this one for Raw. At Backlash, two of the greatest of all time will collide and it will be for the richest prize in this business. Two men will walk that aisle. But one will walk out….the man! Wooooooooo. <div style="color:rgb(26, 26, 26);font-family:Roboto;font-size:20px;font-style:normal;font-weight:normal;border-top:10px solid rgb(160,160,160);"></div> JR and King put over the importance of that title and what will happen in six days. Don’t go anywhere, when Raw comes back - we kick off our in-ring action with Latino Heat after this time out. ========== Commercial Break ========== Raw returns to a commercial for Backlash featuring Stone Cold Steve Austin vs Chris Jericho WWE Backlash, a co-production of both the Raw and SmackDown companies, originates from the sold-out Kemper Arena in Kansas City, Missouri and is live THIS SUNDAY and only on pay-per-view. <div style="color:rgb(26, 26, 26);font-family:Roboto;font-size:20px;font-style:normal;font-weight:normal;border-top:10px solid rgb(160,160,160);"></div> <b>AL SNOW VS EDDIE GUERRERO</b> Al tries to be competitive but this match is a highlight for Latino Heat. Eddie hits the 3 Amigos and eventually a Brainbuster and then the Frog Splash for the 3 count. WINNER BY PINFALL: EDDIE GUERRERO <div style="color:rgb(26, 26, 26);font-family:Roboto;font-size:20px;font-style:normal;font-weight:normal;border-top:10px solid rgb(160,160,160);"></div> After the match, Eddie cuts a promo on Edge and says that Edge is the golden boy around here…the one that Ric Flair has determined is the next face of Raw. But Eddie is a Guerrero! While Edge was at Wrestlemania 6 watching Hulk Hogan, Eddie Guerrero was already in the ring. Eddie Guerrero should be the face of Raw and Eddie is going to prove that this Sunday at Backl…. Eddie’s promo is cut off by a commotion from the audience as Edge rushes down through the fans and gets into the ring. Eddie is able to see Edge coming and gets out of the ring just as Edge touches him. Before Edge can react, Latino Heat is up on the stage while Edge yells at him from the ring. But there will be no place for Guerrero to run this Sunday on pay-per-view! <div style="color:rgb(26, 26, 26);font-family:Roboto;font-size:20px;font-style:normal;font-weight:normal;border-top:10px solid rgb(160,160,160);"></div> In the back we see Trish Stratus and Lita both doing stretches. When we come back they will team with Jacqueline to take on Jazz, Molly Holly & Ivory after this time out. ========== Commercial Break ========== Raw returns with another Goldust promo who promises that the time for waiting is nearly over. The glorious re-emergence will happen next week. And you will never forget the name…Goldust. <div style="color:rgb(26, 26, 26);font-family:Roboto;font-size:20px;font-style:normal;font-weight:normal;border-top:10px solid rgb(160,160,160);"></div> <b>TRISH STRATUS, LITA & JACQUELINE VS JAZZ, MOLLY HOLLY & IVORY</b> Stereotypical six woman Diva match. Jazz dominated Lita most of the match and then the heels double teamed Trish when she would get in until Jackie evened up the power differential and helped the babyfaces. The finish sees Trish nail the Chick Kick on Ivory while Lita and Jackie keep Molly and Jazz at bay for the 3 count. WINNER BY PINFALL: TRISH STRATUS, LITA, & JACQUELINE <div style="color:rgb(26, 26, 26);font-family:Roboto;font-size:20px;font-style:normal;font-weight:normal;border-top:10px solid rgb(160,160,160);"></div> We go back to Brock Lesnar’s attack on Booker T last week and Heyman’s subsequent challenge. When Raw returns, Booker will be on hand to answer the challenge from the Next Big Thing for this Sunday at Backlash after this time out. ========== Commercial Break ========== Raw returns with a promo for Edge vs Eddie Guerrero. These two men, who promise to be the future of Raw, will collide this Sunday at Backlash. <div style="color:rgb(26, 26, 26);font-family:Roboto;font-size:20px;font-style:normal;font-weight:normal;border-top:10px solid rgb(160,160,160);"></div> Booker T comes out and he takes us back to last week and shows us how he got attacked by a Punk Ass Bitch in Brock Lesnar. Booker says that he is thankful because he’s been in this company for about a year and no one here really has seen the true Booker T. So Brock wants a fight this Sunday at Backlash? Brock wants to know if Booker will fight him? You’re Damn Skippy! But it will be on Booker T’s terms. So this Sunday, if Brock wants Booker…Come Get Some In a Street Fight. No rules, no excuses, man up or shut the hell up! Booker has accepted the challenge and we will now see Brock Lesnar’s in-ring debut this Sunday on ppv apparently in a Street Fight!! <div style="color:rgb(26, 26, 26);font-family:Roboto;font-size:20px;font-style:normal;font-weight:normal;border-top:10px solid rgb(160,160,160);"></div> Backstage we see the APA in a very good mood, joking around but when they walk through the door to their office the jokes cease. The office has been redesigned. There’s a tablecloth and flowers on the table. The inside walls and door frame have been painted hot pink. Farooq and Bradshaw are speechless, looking around until Bradshaw finds a card on the table. “Designs by Rico……” Farooq looks like he could explode but he holds it in for a few moments. “………DAMN!” JR and King are like oh God does Billy and Chuck know what they just did? <div style="color:rgb(26, 26, 26);font-family:Roboto;font-size:20px;font-style:normal;font-weight:normal;border-top:10px solid rgb(160,160,160);"></div> JR and King take us back to last week where it appeared that the Hardy’s were having a miscommunication. When we come back, Jeff Hardy is in action on Monday Night Raw. ========== Commercial Break ========== Raw returns and we see video from earlier tonight that shows Latino Heat Eddie Guerrero running through the back locker room area to the parking lot. He jumps in a car and drives off just before Edge jumps into the camera frame and nearly catches the car. Edge screams in frustration but there will be no running for Eddie Guerrero this Sunday. <div style="color:rgb(26, 26, 26);font-family:Roboto;font-size:20px;font-style:normal;font-weight:normal;border-top:10px solid rgb(160,160,160);"></div> <b>MR. PERFECT VS JEFF HARDY</b> Jeff and Perfect have a back and forth that goes through a commercial break and is even until the commercial break. When Raw returns, Matt Hardy is down in Jeff’s corner and Perfect has taken control and scores several near falls. When Jeff begins his comeback, Perfect does a rake to the eyes of Jeff but the ref misses it and Matt gets on the rope and argues with the ref. Because the ref is with Matt, he misses Jeff roll Perfect up in a victory roll. When Jeff goes for the Twist of Fate, Perfect reverses into the Perfect-Plex for the pinfall. WINNER BY PINFALL: MR. PERFECT <div style="color:rgb(26, 26, 26);font-family:Roboto;font-size:20px;font-style:normal;font-weight:normal;border-top:10px solid rgb(160,160,160);"></div> After the match, Matt Hardy pleads his case to his brother and apologies for costing Jeff the match. Jeff is annoyed but eventually hugs his brother and the two walk up the ramp talking things through. <div style="color:rgb(26, 26, 26);font-family:Roboto;font-size:20px;font-style:normal;font-weight:normal;border-top:10px solid rgb(160,160,160);"></div> We go to the back and see Ric Flair in his office going over some papers with Arn Anderson. Suddenly Chavo Guerrero comes into Flair’s office and says that he would like an opportunity to earn a contract with Raw. Flair says that he remembers Chavo from their WCW days and asks him if he’s ready to compete right now. Chavo says that he is…Flair says for Chavo to head to the ring because when we come back, he will be in action against William Regal..next. ========== Commercial Break ========== Raw returns to a video vignette of a person in a dark room. We never see their features and cannot even make out their gender but they can be seen rocking themselves back and forth while eerie music plays. The video suddenly cuts out. <div style="color:rgb(26, 26, 26);font-family:Roboto;font-size:20px;font-style:normal;font-weight:normal;border-top:10px solid rgb(160,160,160);"></div> <b>CHAVO GUERRERO VS WILLIAM REGAL</b> The story of this match centers around the obvious experience advantage of William Regal and Regal taking Chavo lightly. When Regal does an arrogant cover after a T-Bone Suplex, for example, Chavo rolls Regal into a cradle and nearly beats the Brit. After Regal is backdropped, Chavo even has a few minutes of promise where he is able to get a close two count on Regal following a Spicolli Driver. When Chavo jumps off the top rope and Regal ducks which causes Chavo to wrench his knee, that is all Regal needs to take control back and eventually lock in the Regal Stretch for a submission victory. WINNER BY SUBMISSION: WILLIAM REGAL <div style="color:rgb(26, 26, 26);font-family:Roboto;font-size:20px;font-style:normal;font-weight:normal;border-top:10px solid rgb(160,160,160);"></div> After the match, Regal celebrates his win as Ric Flair and Arn Anderson come up onto the stage. Arn whispers in Flair’s ear and Flair nods before the two walk away with a smile. Has Chavo done enough to earn a spot on Raw? <div style="color:rgb(26, 26, 26);font-family:Roboto;font-size:20px;font-style:normal;font-weight:normal;border-top:10px solid rgb(160,160,160);"></div> When we come back Mark Henry will have his toughest challenge yet when the World’s Strongest Man faces The Undertaker. It’s Raw’s main event and it’s next. ========== Final Commercial Break ========== <b>MARK HENRY VS UNDERTAKER</b> Early in this match, Taker wants to test Henry and has the World’s Strongest Man throw some punches to Taker to prove his toughness. After rocking the Deadman, the veteran starts laying into Henry with stiff shots in the corner and soon the two men are brawling on the floor and in the ring. Henry drops Taker with a strong Lariat and starts using his strength to throw Undertaker around the ring. Henry seems to be finding a mean streak as he splashes Taker in a corner and drops a knee directly onto the back of the Deadman before going to the second rope and missing with a splash. From there, Taker starts firing off Haymakers and eventually drops Henry with a big boot for a two count. Undertaker hits Old School and calls for the Last Ride but when he tries to lift Henry up, Henry drops to dead weight and then drops Taker with another big Lariat. Henry elbow drops Taker on his back and nails the World’s Strongest Slam!!! 1…. 2…. Taker barely kicks out. After some more punishment, Henry throws Taker into a corner and charges for a splash…..and misses it. Undertaker moves out of the way and bounces off the ropes and kicks Henry dead in the face. Henry staggers around right into the CHOKESLAM!!!! 1….2…..3. What a fight!! After the match, the Undertaker points down at Mark Henry and nods in a sign of respect before getting on his motorcycle. The Deadman was in a fight and he knows it. WINNER BY PINFALL: UNDERTAKER <div style="color:rgb(26, 26, 26);font-family:Roboto;font-size:20px;font-style:normal;font-weight:normal;border-top:10px solid rgb(160,160,160);"></div> In the back we go to Ric Flair’s office where Stone Cold Steve Austin and Chris Jericho are on opposite sides of the room with Flair and security separating them. Flair looks at both of them and says that this Sunday, they will meet face to face for this belt…and Flair shows both men the World Heavyweight Championship. Both men look down at it and their desire to hold the belt is clearly evident on their faces. Flair looks at both men and says that they will not touch before Sunday but he brought them here to tell them both to their faces, like the men that they are. This Sunday at Backlash the whole world will be watching their match for the richest prize in sports….The World Heavyweight Title. Flair says that for 16 glorious times, he walked the aisle wearing this title around his waist and he did it by being the very best and by having epic moments after epic moments. In six days, we will find out which of you…Stone Cold Steve Austin or Chris Jericho…are truly the best in the entire world. Ric Flair says that he is ordering them, not as the owner of Raw, but as the greatest to ever do this job, to walk into the Kemper Arena at Backlash and go out there as men and tear the house down. Pour their hearts out, their blood, their sweat, their tears…pay the price of a lifetime and the best of these two men will wear the ultimate prize. That is what needs to happen this Sunday and by God they better deliver because if they do not, the only ones that will live to regret it will be Chris Jericho and Steve Austin. Flair orders the two challengers to meet him now and both lay hands on the World Title before Flair orders them to shake each other’s hands. Austin and Jericho’s eyes never leave each other, the tension palpable in the air, as they follow the orders of the greatest of all time. The match is set, the moment is near, and there is nothing left to say. Who will be the Heavyweight Champion of the World? Find out this Sunday on pay-per-view!!!! Dawn
Terrific job setting up Big Show as a credible threat, which was always an iffy part of real life booking. Even if there's no prediction prize, I'd love to just predict on full PPV cards for this one should you guys make that an option

Dawn
Chris Jericho - Major opportunity to redeem himself from the original run. Triple H - I love the work that's been done with Big Show, but it's simply too soon. Eddie Guerrero - Most 50/50 match of the night, but I'm going with what will balance my face/heel predictions. Billy & Chuck - I don't think The APA are the team to beat them. Brock Lesnar Trish Stratus & Lita - Second most unsure match of the card for me, but I suppose you push the aces forward. Pipers Pit
A video is shown of last night’s Backlash, focusing on Chris Jericho becoming the new World Heavyweight Champion, Eddie Guerrero defeating Edge and Brock Lesnar’s decimation of Booker T. MAY WEEK 1 HARTFORD CIVIC CENTER HARTFORD, CT Edge makes his way down to the ring. “Last night didn’t exactly go my way, that much is obvious. But I was raised by a mother who told me when you get knocked down, you get back up. So Eddie, I know you’re back there. I want a rematch, right here, right now!” Olympic gold medalist Kurt Angle comes out to a chorus of boos. “Poor Edge, boo frickin’ hoo. You lost last night and now you think you deserve a rematch. Well, I’ll tell you what. I’ll give you a match and I’ll give you what you really deserve, a broken ankle!” Quote EDGE VS KURT ANGLE A great back and forth match with the crowd solidly behind Edge. Angle uses his amateur skills to keep Edge grounded but with the help of the crowd, Edge fights back and has Angle on his heels following a flurry of offense. Angle is on the outside catching his second wind and Edge follows him out. Suddenly we see Eddie Guerrero running down the aisle with a chair. He whacks Edge across the back and the referee calls for the bell. WINNER BY DISQUALIFICATION: EDGE Eddie smiles down at Edge, who is writhing in pain on the ground. Kurt Angle looks incensed about losing the match due to the interference. He yells at Guerrero who merely shrugs and makes his way back up the aisle. ========== Commercial Break ========== JR and the King give us an update on Booker T following the beatdown at the hands of Brock Lesnar the night before at Backlash. We’re told Booker is not medically cleared to be here tonight and his return is unknown. Molly Holly is backstage with Kevin Kelly. “Molly, last night at Backlash you and your partner Jazz were not on the same page.” “No duh, Kevin! She didn’t want to follow my game plan and we lost. We know whose fault that was.” Molly stops talking as the Women’s Champion walks up to her. “If you got something to say to me, you say it to my face, do you understand me?! Now, if you want to show me how impressive your game plan is, we can do it in the ring anytime.” Jazz walks off as Molly sneers at her. Quote TEST VS ALBERT A sloppy match between two big guys with a lot of power and not much else. Test dodges a charge into the corner before hitting a running big boot to Albert’s face for the win. WINNER BY PINFALL: TEST Test gets his hand raised and begins to celebrate his victory when the lights dim and we hear familiar music. A long spotlight hits the ring and we can see golden metallic pieces of ticker tape falling from the ceiling.Test is focused on the aisle and doesn’t watch his back. Goldust slides into the ring behind him and kicks him between the legs. Test stays on his feet but he doubles over. Goldust grabs him by the hair and pulls him to a standing position before hitting the Curtain Call. As his music continues to play, he runs his hands over Test’s chest with a sick smile. ========== Commercial Break ========== Ric Flair is in his office when the door is kicked in and a very pissed off Stone Cold Steve Austin storms in. “Whoa, Steve, I know what you’re thinking, but on my children, it was an accident and a mistake.” “The only mistake was me ever thinking I could expect a piece of trash like you to change your stripes. You wanna say it was an accident. Then gimme a rematch at Judgment Day.” “I can’t do that. The Undertaker gets the first shot at Jericho.” “We’ll see about that.” Austin storms out as Flair looks very concerned. Backstage, Paul Heyman and his client Brock Lesnar are in a room. On the wall is a chalkboard with an 8x10 picture of Booker T tacked up. Next to Booker, several other 8x10s are upside down so we can’t see who they are. “My name is Paul Heyman and I represent the next big thing, Brock Lesnar. Last night at Backlash Brock Lesnar showed the world what he can do in the ring when he absolutely destroyed a five time world champion. There are many who would say that was a milestone victory. For Brock Lesnar, it’s a stepping stone victory. Now we turn our eyes to the next victim.” Heyman flips over the next picture and reveals Mr. Perfect. “Curt, you’re about to be made imperfect.” Heyman smirks as Lesnar gives the camera a dead stare. Quote THE HARDY BOYZ VS THE HOLLYS Standard tag match with the Hollys keeping Jeff in their corner and double teaming him until Matt gets the hot tag and flips the momentum of the match. He hits Crash with a Twist of Fate, then tags Jeff, who goes to the top and hits the Swanton Bomb for the win. WINNERS BY PINFALL: THE HARDY BOYZ The Hardys barely have time to get their hands raised before their old friends the Dudley Boyz come down to the ring. Bubba Dudley gathers a microphone before they enter the ring. “Matt, Jeff, you know we respect the hell out of you, but you also know there’s only room for one team at the top of the mountain. You want it to be you. We want it to be us. So let’s make it simple. At Judgment Day, the Hardys versus the Dudleys. Winners get the pretty boys. What’cha say?” Matt and Jeff only take a moment to nod and agree. All four men shake hands as JR tells us that this is a tag match we won’t want to miss! ========== Commercial Break ========== A commercial airs for WWE Judgment Day centered around The Undertaker being Judge, Jury & Executioner. For the Deadman awaits the new World Heavyweight Champion whose Judgment Day has arrived. WWE Judgment Day, a joint production of Ric Flair's Raw and Vince McMahon's SmackDown, is four weeks away and only on pay-per-view. The Undertaker is seen backstage riding his bike down the hallway before stopping and parking the bike. Just as he gets off, William Regal flies into the scene and blindsides him. Regal presses his advantage but Taker begins to fire rights and lefts, stunning the Englishman. They begin brawling through the curtain on the way to the ring. Quote WILLIAM REGAL VS THE UNDERTAKER They keep brawling all the way up the aisle and into the ring where Taker is in firm control early on. Regal tries to regroup on the outside but Taker follows him. Regal pokes him in the eye and rams him into the ring post. He gets Taker back into the ring and goes for a pinfall but it’s only a two count. Regal backs off and the referee attends to the Undertaker who was bloodied by the ring post. Regal reaches into his trunks and gets his brass knucks. He turns, hiding his weapon from the referee. Unfortunately, when Regal approaches, Taker grabs him by the throat and delivers a chokeslam. His bloodied face showing nothing but anger, Taker hoists Regal up and delivers the Last Ride for the win. WINNER BY PINFALL: THE UNDERTAKER The Undertaker wipes the blood from his forehead when the Titantron goes live to the back where World Heavyweight Champion Chris Jericho is bashing Taker’s bike with a metal baseball bat. Taker mouths some things that can’t be said on TNN and runs to the back. When he arrives, the bike has been battered but Jericho is long gone. Taker is furious as the King thinks it’s hilarious but JR warns that Jericho might have just signed his death warrant!
Pipers Pit
Highlights from Backlash, via still pictures and voice overs highlight the two main matches. Hollywood Hogan proved the nWo was 4-Life by turning on the Rock. We see a clear shot of the Rock down and spray painted by the trio. Then we see several action shots of the Last Man Standing match between Triple H and the Big Show with a clear shot of the final blow which put the challenger down for good. The last thing we see is a double shot of the post-match expressions by Triple H and Mr. McMahon. MAY WEEK 1 MELLON ARENA PITTSBURGH, PA Michael Cole and Tazz welcome us to Thursday Night Smackdown. They hype that we’ll hear from WWE Undisputed Champion Triple H and in our main event we’ll see the Intercontinental and European Champions, Rob Van Dam and Diamond Dallas Page take on Christian and his partner, Lance Storm. And now we go to the ring. JUSTIN CREDIBLE VS SATURN A hard hitting match that begins with Credible holding an advantage as he uses his speed advantage to keep Saturn down with a flurry of offense but it doesn’t last. Saturn’s advantage is clearly his power and he begins punishing Credible from corner to corner before planting him in the middle of the ring with a snap suplex and then locking in the Rings of Saturn which brings a submission. WINNER BY SUBMISSION: SATURN The camera sees Christian and Lance Storm in their locker room talking over strategy for their big tag match tonight. The nWo appears in one of their standard black and white ‘commercials.’ Hogan begins. “Hellooooo, nWo-ites, it looks like the band is back together!” Hall and Nash hold an impromptu rock-paper-scissors game with Hall winning. “Look at that big man….Rock loses again!” Nash gives a wide smirk. “I should’a seen it coming. But it looks like Rock didn’t see it coming either. Now he’s in the rear view and the nWo is gonna do what we came here to do.” Hogan steps up between the both of them. “And remember fellas, if we can’t have it, nobody can.” They share a ‘too sweet’ as the commercial ends. CHRIS BENOIT VS JAMIE NOBLE Benoit and Noble trade strikes for a few moments until Benoit begins lighting him up with chops. From there Benoit begins picking Noble apart with a meticulous attention to his neck and back. Benoit locks in the Crippler Crossface and Noble taps immediately. WINNER BY SUBMISSION: CHRIS BENOIT Chris Benoit gets his hand raised when Raven suddenly appears on the Titantron from an undisclosed location somewhere in the building. “You know Chris, you’re also so angry and intense. I really would have thought you’d be more relaxed given who you sleep with. Yea, Nancy. I know her…pretty well, actually. She’s got a way of just…well, you already know what I was going to say. Go home and chill out Chris. We’ll have our moment of destiny soon enough.” The screen goes black and Benoit is ready to explode, ditching from the ring and sprinting to the back to find Raven. We go to Mr. McMahon’s office where he is still brooding about the night before as Debra stands to the side in silence. We hear the door open and when he looks up, McMahon looks incredulous. “What the hell do you want?” “Look, I know I screwed up, but I was so close to that Undisputed Championship. Please give me one more chance.” “You think you should receive another title match? Let me tell you something. The next challenger will be someone who really deserves it! Now get out of my office!” The Big Show leaves but as he does, McMahon’s expression changes and he begins to smile. Following the commercial break the WWE Undisputed Champion comes down to the ring. “You know, Vince McMahon is a lot of things but I didn’t think he was stupid. Vince, you decided to send a five hundred pound animal after this title, and it didn’t work. A smart man would say, well, that didn’t work and move on. But not you. You want to continue to stick your nose in my business because this title is MY business. You want to name an opponent who deserves a title shot? There’s a locker room full of guys who do but it doesn’t matter who you pick Vince. I’m going to keep this title and I will knock down every single guy you put in my way! Because I am..the Game!” Backstage we see Chris Benoit continuing to search for Raven until he grabs a crew member who tells him Raven left the building. Benoit throws the guy to the side, even angrier than before. Funaki is walking down to the ring for his match when…… The Big Bossman runs down behind him and blasts him with his baton. The Bossman beats Funaki like he stole something before picking him up and rolling him into the ring. Then we hear the music of the champ. SHANE MCMAHON © W/THE BIG BOSSMAN VS FUNAKI Funaki is already down and hurt, allowing Shane to dance around and pick the bones. Cole asks how long the Bossman will be allowed to soften up Shane’s competition and protect him, Shane walks Funaki to the corner, before climbing to the second rope and hitting a Tornado DDT for the win. WINNER BY PINFALL AND STILL LIGHT HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION: SHANE MCMAHON A commercial airs for WWE Judgment Day centered around The Undertaker being Judge, Jury & Executioner. For the Deadman awaits the new World Heavyweight Champion whose Judgment Day has arrived. WWE Judgment Day, a joint production of Ric Flair's Raw and Vince McMahon's SmackDown, is four weeks away and only on pay-per-view. ROB VAN DAM AND DIAMOND DALLAS PAGE VS CHRISTIAN AND LANCE STORM RVD and Christian start off and thanks to some underhanded tactics, Van Dam ends up in the enemy corner for several minutes. When Storm gets the tag he shows barely a hint of emotion as he punishes the IC Champ. Storm makes the mistake however of trying a second rope leg drop. He misses, allowing DDP to get the tag and then it’s a back and forth battle. Both men are veterans of the ring and know their way around it. Christian sees things going south and opts to leave his partner. Storm looks confused and when he finally turns back to DDP he eats a Diamond Cutter. DDP throws up the diamond but Van Dam tags himself in to the chagrin of DDP. RVD hits a Five Star Frog Splash for the win. WINNERS BY PINFALL: ROB VAN DAM AND DIAMOND DALLAS PAGE As RVD and DDP get their arms raised in victory they’ve got their eyes locked on each other and there appears to be trouble brewing. We cut to the back where Jonathan Coachman is standing outside Mr. McMahon’s office. A moment later McMahon steps out. “Ah, Coach, I have a big announcement. Earlier I said the next challenger for the Undisputed Championship will be someone who really deserves it. At Judgment Day, Triple H will defend the Undisputed Championship in a steel cage against the Big Show……and me!” Cole and Tazz are shocked at this development and question how much more Mr. McMahon can stack the deck as the show ends. Dawn
I love this diary so much more with every passing show! Of course Vince had to meddle into the Show-HHH feud. I wonder if there's anyone associated with Triple H who could aid him in that cage match...

Pipers Pit
A series of quick video clips remind the audience of what happened last week between: Ric Flair and Stone Cold Steve Austin, Edge, Kurt Angle, and Eddie Guererro, and finally The Undertaker and Chris Jericho. MAY WEEK 2 AIR CANADA CENTER TORONTO, ONTARIO, CANADA The Undertaker comes down to the ring on his bike and then gathers a microphone. “Chris Jericho, you made the worst decision of your miserable life last week, when you put your hands on what belongs to me. So now I’m not going to just take your title at Judgment Day, I’m going to make you suffer. I’m going to make you beg for mercy but you will find none. You decided to make this personal and you’re going to regret that for the rest of your life. Enjoy your last few weeks eating solid food.” MOLLY HOLLY VS LITA A great back and forth match what sees both women get in large amounts of offense. Molly has the advantage but when she charges into an empty corner, Lita hits a Twist of Fate, followed by a leg drop off the second rope for the win. WINNER BY PINFALL: LITA Lita gets her arm raised before being blasted from behind by the Women’s Champion Jazz. Jazz locks in a STF on Lita as Molly watches. Jazz finally releases the hold and shouts at Molly “That’s how a bad bitch does it.” It’s unclear if Molly is cowardly or smart in allowing Jazz to leave the ring after showing her up. Kevin Kelly is backstage with the World Tag Team Champions Billy and Chuck and their Stylist Rico. “Gentlemen, are you favoring either the Hardyz or the Dudleyz to be your next challengers?” Rico shakes his head. “It doesn’t matter which pair of losers is next because all that means is they’re going to be the latest team to fall to their knees in front of Billy and Chuck.” ‘ Billy agrees. “And when they’re on their knees, we have them right where we want them!” Lawler asks JR what that means and Ross quips that he’s not paid enough to speculate, MR. PERFECT VS AL SNOW Mr. Perfect lives up to his name from the get-go. He dominates Snow, hitting a series of suplexes and wearing Snow down with technical holds before hitting the Perfect Plex for the win. WINNER BY PINFALL: MR. PERFECT Mr. Perfect gets his arm raised but then….. Brock Lesnar and his agent Paul Heyman walk down the aisle. Lesnar acts like he’s going to climb into the ring but backs off at Heyman’s direction. Perfect looks on as they go back up the aisle but the mind games have begun. We go to Goldust who is sitting in a darkened room in a gold director’s chair. “There have been many great motion pictures based on the concept of opposites attract. But I see a summer blockbuster when I look at you, Test. You’ve caught my eye and when I finally get my…hands….on you again, you will never forget the name of…Goooooldust. Eddie Guererro is getting ready for his match when Kurt Angle angrily enters the room. “Hey! I’m gonna make this real clear. I don’t like that you cost me my match with Edge last week and I don’t trust you. So listen up. If you screw me again tonight I’m going to twist you into a pretzel in the middle of the ring. Are we clear?” Eddie just smiles. “You have nothing to worry about, amigo. Tonight we’ll both be winners.” Angle walks out and Eddie’s smile fades into a sneer. Speaking of the main event, we see Edge approach the World;s Strongest Man, Mark Henry. “Mark, I need a favor.” “What’s up, Edge?” “I need a partner for Eddie Guererro and Kurt Angle tonight. Whatcha think?” “I think they’re gonna be in a lot of trouble!” The two shake hands and JR tells us it looks like Edge has found his partner. CHAVO GUERERRO JR VS HARDCORE HOLLY Holly controls the early going, brutally beating Chavo down. Holly is smug in his approach, several times slapping Chavo in the back of the head as he berates him. Chavo digs deep and makes a comeback, stunning Holly with a series of right hands before launching into some fast paced offense, topped off with the Gory Bomb for the win. WINNER BY PINFALL: CHAVO GUERRERO JR. We see the APA walking backstage when they come across Stone Cold Steve Austin. “Hey!” shouts Farooq. “We’ve been looking everywhere for you.” “Why’s that?” “Because both of us want to know exactly what the hell happened to you?” “What’s that supposed to mean?” “You and I have been through wars in that ring. I know what kind of man you are.” Bradshaw nods. “And as a Texan, it hurts my heart to see one of the biggest ass kickers in this business’s history…..” “Go ahead, say it.” “Fine! Sitting on his ass and letting others dictate to him.” “Bradshaw’s right. Back in the day if you got screwed you’d have run over someone with a damned zamboni. But now you’re sitting back here, twiddlin’ your thumbs.” Austin stews for a moment in the criticism. “You wanna see the old Stone Cold, huh? Is that it.” “You’re damned right.” Austin is quiet another moment, before walking off. Bradshaw looks at Farooq. “Was it something we said?” A commercial airs for WWE Judgment Day centered around The Undertaker being Judge, Jury & Executioner. For the Deadman awaits the new World Heavyweight Champion whose Judgment Day has arrived. WWE Judgment Day, a joint production of Ric Flair's Raw and Vince McMahon's SmackDown, is four weeks away and only on pay-per-view. EDGE AND MARK HENRY VS EDDIE GUERERRO AND KURT ANGLE Edge is isolated in the enemy corner but when Henry gets the tag he overpowers both Guererro and Angle. Eddie gets bounced around the ring for a few minutes until he pokes Henry in the eye and chop blocks his knee. Guerrero crawls to his corner but just as he gets there, Angle drops down to the ringside floor. Angle clearly tells him ‘good luck” and begins walking to the back. Unbeknownst to Guererro, Henry had tagged in Edge and when Eddie turned around he’s speared. Edge makes the cover and gets the win. WINNERS BY PINFALL: EDGE AND MARK HENRY While Edge and Henry celebrate, Eddie holds the back of his head and stares daggers down the aisle at Angle who has a wide smile. Ric Flair is in his office when the World Heavyweight Champion storms in. “Flair! Did you hear what that idiot biker said out there tonight? He wants to threaten me? I’m the champ! See this belt, it means I’m the best. Well let me tell you something. I’m not waiting for Judgment Day. I’m going out there next week and I’m calling…him….out!” “You better be real careful messing with him or you’ll be real sorry.” “I don’t need advice from a hasbeen.” Jericho storms out leaving Flair looking pissed off as the show ends.
Pipers Pit
MAY WEEK 2 HARBOR YARD ARENA BRIDGEPORT, CT The nWo come down to the ring and Hogan begins. “Well, nWo-ites, the band is back together. Now some people out there are asking ab0ut what happened at Backlash. It was a proper name for the night. If you don’t believe me, brother, ask the Rock. Ever since WrestleMania, we had this in motion. Now, I knew 99 out of 100 times I’d wipe that mat with him. But you don’t get to be Hollywood Hogan without covering your bases. So we had it all lined up. If the Rock pulled an absolute miracle in Toronto, my brothers here would put the plan in motion. And it was all to sucker him in hook line and sinker. So now he’s gone, never to be heard from again and the nWo is standing tall. Tell’em Big Sexy!” Nash takes the microphone. “You people out there act like we just fell off a turnip truck and we don’t know how to run things. I think, if I may be so bold, that some of you need a refresher course in just who the hell we are. So listen up. The New World Order does what it wants, when it wants, to who it wants and there ain’t a man back there who can do a damn thing about it!” Hall collects the microphone. “Hey yo! Hollywood and Big Sexy have made it pretty clear but if you’re still a little confused, well like they say….don’t change that channel!” The three of them leave the ring as Cole is concerned what Hall’s threat means. TOMMY DREAMER VS RHYNO © These two begin in the ring but they don’t stay there long. With the crowd chanting ‘ECW’, Rhyno and Dreamer brawl around the ring, until Rhyno misses a charge into the ringpost, ramming himself head first. Dreamer pulls a chair from under the ring and hits Rhyno across the back three times before Rhyno finally falls. Dreamer soaks up the crowd and puts the chair on the ground and positions Rhyno for a DDT on the chair but Rhyno picks him up and runs him through the ringsidc barrier into the time keeper’s area. Rhyno gets up and drags Dreamer to the ring, rolling him back in but it’s a two count. Rhyno backs off, setting up for a Gore but when he charges, Dreamer kicks him in the head. Rhyno staggers back, and Dreamer quickly picks him up for a Death Valley Driver but Rhyno slips out, showing Dreamer into the ropes. When he rebounds off the ropes, Rhyno hits the Gore and scores the win. WINNER BY PINFALL AND STILL HARDCORE CHAMPION: RHYNO Shane McMahon and the Big Boss Man are walking backstage acting very smug but unbeknownst to them they’re being stalked. Tajiri creeps behind them. They stop and he ducks behind something. Seeing no one, they continue down the hallway. This goes on for a few moments until they think they’ve outsmarted whoever is behind them and they suddenly spin around. Tajiri blasts the Bossman in the face with green mist. The Bossman drops to the floor, writhing and holding his face. Shane, eyes wide, turns and takes off running as Tajiri gives chase. We see Chris Benoit walk into his locker room and stop cold. As the camera pans around we see pictures of his wife Nancy posted all over the room. Some of them are from her career but others seem to be candid shots of her. Benoit begins ripping them down before turning and sprinting out of the room. A vignette is shown beginning in a busy Italian restaurant. It’s from a first person point of view as ‘you’ enter and walk to the back, through the kitchen door. Seated at a table far in the back of the kitchen sit three men. The little one in the middle motions for you to sit. “You must think you’re a wiseguy. Coming in here knowing what you owe us. No, no, don’t give me any excuses. I don’t want to hear them, Vito don’t want to hear them, and Johnny the Bull don’t want to hear them. But I’m gonna use you as a little errand boy. I want you to go to the WWE and you tell them Nunzio and his boys are coming to collect. Capiche? Now get outta here!” When ‘you’ don’t move fast enough, Vito and the Bull get up and help you out of your chair with a shove and the screen goes black. D’LO BROWN VS RIKISHI An open match where D’Lo holds an early advantage by using his quickness but he gets a little too full of himself and eats a standing side kick in the face for it. From there Rikishi uses his size to keep Brown on his back before he ends it with a Rikishi Driver. WINNER BY PINFALL: RIKISHI A long black limo pulls up backstage and Mr. McMahon, Debra, and the Big Show exit. The Coach runs up to them. “Mr. McMahon, rumors backstage are you’ll be in action tonight. Can you tell me against who?” McMahon pats him on the arm. “Coach, it's a surprise but I will tell you that tonight I’ll get my arm raised against a former champion.” The trio walk into the building as Cole and Tazz speculate who it will be. We go to the back where it is complete chaos. Chris Benoit and Raven are brawling through the backstage area as officials try to pry them apart. Benoit is still livid about finding his wife’s pictures and as they’re separated, Raven just smiles with a bloody mouth yelling to Benoit to tell Nancy hello which infuriates the Wolverine even more. Jamie Noble and the Godfather are ready for their match to begin until…… The nWo comes down to the ring and enters the ring. Both Noble and Godfather want to know what’s going on. They find out a moment later when Hall drops Noble with a right hand and Hogan and Nash jump Godfather from behind. The nWo put a beating on the two would-be opponents and leave them laying. Nash looks at the camera and clearly says “What we want….when we want!” A replay is shown of the nWo interrupting the beginning of the match and beating down both men. Rob Van Dam is in his locker room when Diamond Dallas Page walks in. “I feel like you and me have unfinished business and I want to settle this man to man.” Van Dam turns and nods. “I agree, dude. This has to end.” Page looks at his European title and Van Dam’s Intercontinental title. “How about at Judgment Day we find out who is the better man, and the better champion. My title versus your title, winner takes all.” Van Dam doesn’t break eye contact. “See you there.” We end the segment with both men in a staredown. XPAC VS BILLY KIDMAN A very athletic contest between two guys who can go at an incredible pace. They trade the momentum back and forth with several false finishes. The crowd gets into it as they begin taking to the top rope and when Kidman hits a hurricanrana off the top they think he has a victory but Xpac gets his foot on the rope. Kidman backs off but argues that it was a three count. Xpac shoves him into the referee, who is staggered, and hits a low blow. He quickly hits the X-Factor sitdown facebuster and steals the win. WINNER BY PINFALL: XPAC As Xpac gets his hand raised he is about to climb onto the turnbuckles to pose but suddenly fire shoots out of the ring post followed by familiar music. Kane begins stomping down to the ring and Xpac panics, quickly ditching from the ring and jumping the barrier before running away. A commercial airs for WWE Judgment Day centered around The Undertaker being Judge, Jury & Executioner. For the Deadman awaits the new World Heavyweight Champion Chris Jericho. Judgment Day has arrived! WWE Judgment Day, a joint production of Ric Flair's Raw and Vince McMahon's SmackDown, is two weeks away and only on pay-per-view. THE BIG SHOW AND MR. MCMAHON VS MAVEN Former Hardcore Champion Maven is the surprise opponent and McMahon tells the ring announcer that it’s now a handicap match. Big Show begins and decimates the much smaller Maven. It only takes a few minutes but after three chokeslams, Maven can barely move. McMahon holds his hand out and gets tagged in, quickly making a cover and hooking the leg for the win. WINNERS BY PINFALL: THE BIG SHOW AND MR. MCMAHON McMahon celebrates as if he’s won something he earned until he hears a familiar voice. “Hey…Vince!” McMahon turns and looks to the tron where he sneers. Triple H is live, outside the building next to McMahon’s limo. “You know something Vince, you and the big dummy, you’re really just a piece of trash. So I thought, why not make you at home on your drive home?” He waves and we hear a distinctive BEEP….BEEP…..BEEP. A garbage truck backs up into the picture before it slowly begins lifting its back end. As McMahon seethes, all kinds of garbage is dumped onto the limo. Triple H waves his hand to indicate the smell. “See ya in the cage.” McMahon throws a fit as HHH just smiles as the show ends.
