Tournament Format Suggestions

I'm looking to start a company with multiple tournament/grand prix events to cover the schedule.  Here is what I have so far:

G-1 style tournament (potentially two months)

16 single elimination (one month)

World Cup Style (one or two months)

Lethal Lottery (teams picked at random, winning team wrestles each other, one month)

 

Any other ideas would be greatly appteciated.

Spring Break Out- A tag team tournament featuring only younger wrestlers, takes place in the Spring(Mar, Apr, or May)

Young Lion's Cup- A tournament featuring only younger wrestlers

Trios Tournament: a round robin 8-trios tournament (potentially representing 8 nations/regions)

I always do a Grand Prix. Sign as much talent, full on four month tournament to crown essentially the wrestler of the year.

Sometimes I call it the Lou Thesz or Gorgeous George Grand Prix.

You could use the tournaments early in the year to have people qualify for a big tourney over the last 2/3 months of the year for a grand prize.

Having a lethal lottery where two people hate each other but need to qualify for the big one would be an easy story

Tournament of Managers. 

A Round Robin where four top managers recruit teams of wrestlers (4-5 each). Each week focuses on two of the managers pitting their teams against one another in Best of Three/Five/Pokemon Style Gauntlet matches. Full of tactical decisions and trades and betrayals.
