Vandal
December 2021 - All Japan Pro Wrestling has been sold to LIDET Entertainment. The company is looking to revitalize All Japan Pro Wrestling. Jun Akiyama has served as President of All Japan Pro Wrestling since 2014. He will remain in his position. Akiyama and LIDET Entertainment executives share the same goal: to elevate All Japan back into the upper echelons of professional wrestling in Japan. This real-world dynasty is taking place in a combination of my existing game world I’ve been using for quite some time across TEW games and the real world as I’ve mirrored some things when setting up the database. Since I’m returning to this world after about 3 years, it’s essentially a mash-up of the two. Edited February 25, 2023 by Vandal

AboardTheArk
Well, I have some obvious questions about my beloved NOAH in this universe! But this looks lovely, AJPW is great to run with in TEW, Kento anchors everything and you can build on the myriad of young talents (seriously that dojo is insane, only DG is better). Suwama, Shuji Ishikawa, Joe Doering vs. Ryouji Sai, Takao Omori, Zeus SuwamaWinsLol Yu Iizuka vs. Ryuji Hijikata If I were booking, Lizuka loses most of his challenge series matches but still does well Atsushi Maruyama, Yohei Nakajima, Yusuke Okada vs. Hokuto Omori, Yusuke Kodama, TAJIRI This could go either way I just think Hokuto Omori is good Daisuke Harada, Kotaro Suzuki vs. Hikaru Sato, Dan Tamura These are two of the best junior heavyweight wrestlers in histor- well three of them, and Dan Tamura who is really cool. Give me my guys for obvious reasons. Koji Iwamoto, Ryuki Honda, Shotaro Ashino vs. Jun Akiyama, Go Shiozaki, Kaito Kiyomiya Go and Kaito tag belt challenge, mirroring Ashino/Honda Kento Miyahara, Naoya Nomura, Yuma Aoyagi, Atsushi Aoyagi, Rising HAYATO vs. Jake Lee, Kengo Mashimo, KAZMA Sakamoto, HAYATA, "X" I just think Jake Lee and HAYATA are mid so I will go with the faces despite the existence of a mystery opponent Who is "X": Yuji Okabayashi New Year's Battle Royal Winner: Naora Nomuya, who challenges for the Triple Crown

Vandal
Post-Show Comments Suwama, Shuji Ishikawa and Joe Doering are set to make their post-match comments, but Suwama is enraged following his loss and tosses the chairs set up for them! Suwama: ZEUS!! YOU BASTARD!! I don't care when... I don't care where... I want to fight you one on one. Ishikawa: Evolution seems to be stagnant. The three of us are former Triple Crown Champions. What is happening? Something has to change. Doering: I have faith that Evolution can turn things around in 2023. If not, where do we go from here? Hijikata: Young Iizuka... You did well. Make sure to show the same fighting spirit in all of your challenges. Iizuka: I tried my hardest to be victorious in my first challenge. I was not successful, but I will continue to try my best and prove myself. Harada: Hokuto Omori, huh? That's fine. I'll defeat anyone put in front of me to earn my shot at Atsuki Aoyagi. Omori: Harada... You're getting old. Try not to hurt yourself trying to fight me. I will be the next Jr. Heavyweight Champion. Akiyama: Great work, my friends. Shiozaki: Thank you. Kaito! You pinned one of the Unified Tag Team Champions. You know what that means, right? Kiymoya: I believe that means we are next in line and JIN's days as champions are numbered! Shiozaki: Definitely. So what do you say, Ashino and Honda? Think you can beat us next time? We'll see. Lee: Haha! NEXTREAM didn't see this coming! They never expected that we would hire the King of Pro Wrestling to fight alongside us! Suzuki: All Japan... It's been a while. I'd say it's good to be back, but I'd be lying. I'm just here because Jake Lee and TAJIRI are paying me generously to be here. Lee -- keep the money coming and I'll hurt anyone you need me to hurt. TAJIRI: Welcome to Total Eclipse. This is our era. Nomura: Yuma... I know your goal is the same as mine, but you're going to have to wait your turn. Kento, when we battle for the Triple Crown Championship, we are not allies. I will fight you as though you are my archrival if it means becoming Triple Crown Champion. Prepare yourself. AboardTheArk
What terrible news about HAYATA going back to NOAH. Hate that guy. Predictions: Shuji Ishikawa, Hikaru Sato & Dan Tamura vs. Takao Omori, Ryuji Hijikata & Yusuke Okada This was the first match I genuinely didn't lean either way, so let's just go with Evolution staying struggling. Yuma Aoyagi & Rising HAYATO vs. Kengo Mashimo & Yusuke Kodama It's Yuma Aoyagi Yu Iizuka Challenge Series Mizuki Watase vs. Yu Iizuka If Watase loses, I riot Koji Iwamoto & "X" vs. Jake Lee & Hokuto Omori Go X! Who is the new member of JIN ("X")? I'm not perfectly versed in AJPW factions, but Kuma Arashi hasn't made an appearance and I think he's good, so let's go with that big boy. I don't want to also vote on an outsider, but can't help but notice Takuya Nomura has also not appeared despite doing great with AJPW irl. GAORA TV ChampionshipZeus (C) vs. Suwama Zeus has a whole company to run in Osaka dammit, SuwamaWinsLol All Asia Tag Team ChampionshipJun Akiyama & Kotaro Suzuki (C) vs. Minoru Suzuki & TAJIRI One of the teams having Tajiri swayed me but the signs are the heels win tbh AJPW Tag Team ChampionshipRyuki Honda & Shotaro Ashino (C) vs. Go Shiozaki & Kaito Kiyomiya In all honesty I wouldn't do it cause in my mind they're still outsiders but not in your universe. This feud isn't over. AJPW Jr. Heavyweight ChampionshipAtsuki Aoyagi (C) vs. Daisuke Harada Got to do Aoyagi vs Watase. Triple Crown ChampionshipKento Miyahara (C) vs. Naoya Nomura Kento is world class in TEW (and very good irl), so he's holding the belt until Yuma is ready in my opinion. Who will be announced as the new PWF Chairman? Toshiaki Kawada.

AboardTheArk
Ah, I almost got the clean sweep but my bias got me! Good show overall, honestly when I book puro I build matchups but it never flows as well from show to show as this. This is good work you guys do on your puro diaries. Great stuff. SANADA! That's awesome. What a cool return. A bit calmer seeing NOAH busting out this stacked show after watching you have almost all their good wrestlers. Soma Watanabe rules except when they make him do MMA fights lol. Now, on to Aoyagi vs Watase please.

Vandal
Post-Show Comments Yuma Aoyagi: We've done well tagging together at these last shows, Hayato -- maybe we should challenge for the All Asia Tag Team Championships! Mizuki Watase: Yu Iizuka -- you fought well. You have potential. My sights are now set on you, Atsushi Aoyagi. I want your Jr. Heavyweight Championship! Suwama: HAHAHA! Fuck you, Zeus! Now I'm the champion! HAHAHA! Koji Iwamoto: JIN is the future of All Japan! Soma Watanabe, don't disappoint me. Soma Watanabe: I won't let you down. I'm here to win. Koji Iwamoto: SANADA... get in the back of the line. You couldn't win the Triple Crown before you left All Japan in 2013. You didn't win the IWGP World Heavyweight Championship while you were in New Japan. What makes you think you can win the big one now? Do yourself a favor and go back to being Naito's lackey. Kento Miyahara: Naoya Nomura, thank you for the challenge, my friend. Although you wouldn't shake my hand after our battle, I am proud of your fighting spirit. Koji Iwamoto... you would be a worthy challenger, we'll see what Kobashi thinks. SANADA... an interesting surprise. Welcome back. Don't expect me to go easy on you. Vandal
New Year Giant Series Announced! January 11, 2022 - All Japan Pro Wrestling held a press conference and announced they will continue to kick off its 50th year with the New Year Giant Series! Probably the biggest news coming out of the final New Year Dynamite show was the return of SANADA to All Japan Pro Wrestling! SANADA immediately declared his intent to challenge for the Triple Crown Championship, but Koji Iwamoto also has his eyes set on Kento Miyahara's championship! PWF Chairman Kenta Kobashi announced that there will be a decision match on January 22nd in Osaka to decide Kento Miyahara's next challenger. Kobashi announced that the January 22nd show in Osaka will also feature two championship matches: - After his pinfall over AJPW Jr. Heavyweight Champion Atsuki Aoyagi, Mizuki Watase has been granted a championship opportunity. - With back to back wins as a team, Yuma Aoyagi and Rising HAYATO have earned an opportunity to challenge for the All Asia Tag Team Championships! Kobashi announced that the tour will see the All Japan debuts of Marshall Von Erich & Ross Von Erich! Kobashi talked about their family's history in the promotion beginning with their grandfather Fritz Von Erich having competed in All Japan in the 70s followed by David, Kevin (their father) and Kerry competing in All Japan in the late 70s and 80s! Kobashi announced that the Jun & Rei Saito will be returning on 1/18. They will face The Von Erich Brothers in their return match! Kobashi also announced that there will be a special 50th Anniversary Celebration Match on 1/18! The match will be a 8-man tag team match and all competitors will be former Triple Crown Champions! SANADA appeared at the press conference and requested his return match on 1/18 to be a singles bout against Ryuji Hijikata. SANADA explained the reason for the request: "Ryuji Hijikata was my partner in my debut match. As he is affiliated with All Japan at this time, I feel it is fitting that he is my opponent for my return." Masanobu Fuchi appeared next and discussed his upcoming retirement. Having made his debut in 1974, Fuchi has been a part of All Japan for 48 of its 50 years! He stated that while he wishes he could make it until his 50th year in professional wrestling, he is content with retiring in the 50th year of All Japan! He will have a series of "Road to Final Fuchi" matches throughout January and February with his retirement show taking place in March. The 1/22 show will see Fuchi reunite with former Holy Demon Army teammates Masao Inoue, Tsuyoshi Kikuchi and Yoshinari Ogawa! Kenta Kobashi closed the press conference by announcing that All Japan will close out the month of January with Yokohama Twilight Blues on 1/29 at Yokohama Budokan!
