FCW TV SHOW TO DEBUT!

When GEW bought FCW, the CEO Bryan Vessey said FCW would have a TV show. Yesterday FCW Head Booker Handsome Stranger announced that FCW Generation Fire is set to debut.  The show will run for one and a half hours and will be held on Wednesdays.

Editor's note: To focus on the main stories I won't report on these shows, except if there are title changes, etc.

ELECTRIC CAGE II

The first event after the summer feels bigger than ever as many things have happened in the past weeks. In the Main Event, the biggest rivalry in GEW history has another chapter, is GEW Global champion Nelson Callum against former champion Chris Flynn in a Cage Match. In the Pre-Main Event the rivalry between The Olympus Dark Side and Head Quarters reaches new heights, the numerical superiority will be over when Gorgon makes history as the first woman to feature in a GEW match. Davis Wayne Newton doubted that Roger Cage was coming to GEW and was given a Cage Match against him, Roger's presentation is "Cage in the Cage". The third cage match is Koshiro Ino against Viktor Beskov, a feud that started when the russian attacked the japanese, but Ino was able to defeat Beskov at GEW Unforgettable Summer. Kirk Jameson against Kip Keenan. In the Opener, the GEW Global Tag Team titles are on the line, the champions Long Beach Crew against The Elite, who may be the new tag team in GEW but is not one that lack experience in big matches for sure.

In another segment, James Prudence criticizes how he had to go trough the Six-Way Singles match at GEW Destination to try to have a title match for the GEW Global championship while Joffy Laine was given a title match that night and Laine could be the champion if he wasn't so stupid to lose. Laine comes from backstage and they have to be separated.

In the Opener, Ernest Youngman defends the GWA Pacific title against EX2010's Tsuneyo Yanagimoto.

PLANET WRESTLING II

Season 2 finale event is here!

Main Event: GEW GLOBAL CHAMPIONSHIP

NELSON CALLUM ©️ vs ROGER CAGE

Nelson Callum defeated Chris Flynn to win the GEW Global Championship at GEW Trust The Process in February and nine months and eleven defences later Callum is still the champion. This belt has changed Callum, he's not the wrestler that lost to Flynn fair and square in the Main Event of last year's Planet Wrestling anymore, he is willing to do whatever it takes to keep the title and has threaten to hurt badly Roger Cage. Then there is Cage who won the Six Way Destination match at GEW Destination to get a shot at the GEW Global title and to main event Planet Wrestling. Cage made an instant impact and has lived up to the hype since he signed for GEW.

ROGER CAGE def. NELSON CALLUM

olympusdark.jpg.995988d0edafb90b698880219b254ae4.jpg

Bryan Vessey saw it coming. GEW's CEO formed the Head Quarters faction to stop The Olympus Dark Side. Vessey thought they were a threat to the stability of GEW and it seems he was right as the heel faction is only looking stronger and stronger. Zeus Maxmillion's malicious mind leads them, Blackfriar and Gorgon are two dark souls capable of any evil and Logan Wolfsbaine is a force to be reckoned. This is the final chapter of this epic factions feud and the question is: Can Head Quarters regroup to stop The Olympus Dark Side or are they already unstoppable?

THE OLYMPUS DARK SIDE def. HEAD QUARTERS

#7CHRIS FLYNN vs DAVIS WAYNE NEWTON

image.jpeg.42d3155ae6281d5d550076391139d040.jpegimage.png.d0ebde91f59a17889dc5e3c45a691e4f.pngimage.jpeg.4af0ad78a56b2af6245603c0f79e30ad.jpeg

Chris Flynn vs Davis Wayne Newton for the first time in singles competition. Two of the most important wrestlers in the history of GEW will meet in this season finale event. Newton said last week he's done almost anything in the company but he still has not defeated a former GEW Global champion, he wants Flynn to be the first.

CHRIS FLYNN def. DAVIS WAYNE NEWTON

#6GWA TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP

THE CANADIAN BLONDES (FLASH SAVAGE & OZZIE GOLDSTEIN) ©️ vs THE LA STARS (LA STAR #1 & LA STAR #2) vs DEVIL MAY CARE (ACID II & STUNTMAN) vs ???

The Canadian Blondes have successfully defended their GWA Tag Team titles 12 times and are getting closer and closer to the 16 defences record that CILL's Captain Lucha & Dragon Del Arco Iris Jr still possess. The LA Stars have been arguably their biggest enemies during their reign and surely would love to finally become champions at the season finale event, but Devil May Care don't like this ending that much as they've been feuding in the last weeks. And finally we have the mysterious tag team which is... Rapid Attack! Amazing Fire Fly has been sidelined for 6 months and he's back to join Rapido for the season finale event. Rapid Attack was a key tag team in the early days of the company and they seek their first title match win in one of the most epic comebacks in GEW history.

RAPID ATTACK def. THE CANADIAN BLONDES & THE LA STARS & DEVIL MAY CARE

#5KOSHIRO INO vs FRANKIE PEREZ

image.jpeg.43a11a7de9c0f6cdf0a7053821fc39c8.jpegimage.png.d0ebde91f59a17889dc5e3c45a691e4f.pngimage.jpeg.91fbab4e64c8a31f9afccda9b60f078d.jpeg

Frankie Perez has defeated two wrestlers that rank among the most populars in the world like James Justice and Eddie Howard. He came to GEW with a reputation of being one of the best wrestlers in the West Coast and he has delivered so far. But this is something else. Koshiro Ino is an iconic wrestler for the company who was the first GWA Pacific champion and is an absolute fan favorite, if Frankie Perez can win this match he will become one of the most hated in the roster.

FRANKIE PEREZ def. KOSHIRO INO

#4JAMES PRUDENCE & RAJAH vs JOFFY LAINE & JAMES JUSTICE

image.jpeg.30a3e896f53bd59148b1e1f798378c6c.jpegimage.jpeg.0594833def3e1404f2a9a5eea036fc9d.jpegimage.jpeg.8e474a63bbd5fcd9ad22be16ca0a3766.jpegimage.jpeg.a83a8289676596269e9eba52a00797a2.jpegimage.jpeg.997568aa665792e50a78680d6dfbd569.jpeg

In the last episode of Generation, James Prudence criticized how Joffy Laine was given a title match at GEW Destination while he had to go trough the Six-Way Singles match to try to have a title match for the GEW Global championship and called Laine stupid for losing his title match. Of course Laine wasn't happy and they had to be separated. Prudence is a well-known trash talker, will these words have an effect on Laine in this match?

JAMES PRUDENCE & RAJAH def. JOFFY LAINE & JAMES JUSTICE

#3VIKTOR BESKOV vs ANDRE JONES

image.jpeg.6fcf48cad43a91e18da69c18891b9006.jpegimage.png.d0ebde91f59a17889dc5e3c45a691e4f.pngimage.jpeg.ac66632a03620ca1472efa4f2b91c9dc.jpeg

The russian wrestler is somebody no one should trust in the words of Koshiro Ino. Beskov defeated Ino in a cage match at GEW Electric Cage and although Ino finished 2-1 against Beskov the japanese was attacked by Beskov in different segments and it wasn't a comfortable rivalry for Ino. Beskov targeted Andre Jones then and the two draw in a time limit match. Beskov has attacked Jones too and this rivalry is heating up.

#2GWA PACIFIC CHAMPIONSHIP

ERNEST YOUNGMAN ©️ vs KIRK JAMESON vs KIP KEENAN

Ernest Youngman struggled to win his first title until he defeated Heavy Metal Anarchy at GEW Californian Summer. Youngman has defended the title 15 times since then in all of the companies of the Global Wrestling Alliance (ACPW, CILL, EX2010 and GEW). Kip Keenan was one of Youngman's best opponents and their heated rivalry that started before Youngman won the title has been one of the best of the year, but in the last weeks Keenan's been feuding with Kirk Jameson.

KIP KEENAN def. ERNEST YOUNGMAN & KIRK JAMESON

2-time GEW Global champions Long Beach Crew defeated The Platinum Blondes at GEW Summercard to get their titles back. The Elite have been the major threat they have faced during their reign as Eddie Chandler and Nate Johnson have the experience and the pedigree to become the new champions, but Long Beach Crew look hotter than ever and they have been in the title scene for more than a year.

PRE SEASON 3 PRESS CONFERENCE

Season 3 kick off is next Thursday with the 92nd episode of Generation.

On December 31st for the second year in a row the first event of the new season will be GEW Times Square End Of Year.

GEW's CEO Bryan Vessey addressed the press.

- How do you rate Planet Wrestling II as the season finale event?

It was a fantastic event to end the season that met expectations and a couple of matches maybe exceeded them.

- What about season 2 as a whole?

This was an awesome season. We had some incredible events like Make The Rules II, Reckoning II, Eclipse II, Destination II was incredible, we bought FCW and stablished a developmental strategy there, we caught some of the best talents who left USPW, the Global Wrestling Alliance has been strengthened...

- What can we expect from the third season?

GEW is ready to take a step further. We are focus on developing long term stories and rivalries, but we will be looking very close to free agency and how our best prospects are doing in FCW to make decisions. We like our current schedule but there can be small changes for the next season. Obviously what happened to USPW opened up a new scenario and although we have not the resources to compete with the biggest companies yet we want to make the best of it without risking our financial stability.

REGGIE TATE IS FCW!

Australian wrestler Reggie Tate was signed to an exclusive contract by GEW to send him to its developmental company FCW immediately. The 2-year contract is worth $120 per show.

Tate left APW a few months ago and was a free agent when the conversations started. "He is 29 years old and fits perfectly in our plans" said CEO Bryan Vessey in a wrestling podcast.

DEVIOUS DOCTOR FANG IS FCW!

Devious Doctor Fang will be sent to FCW after he reached an agreement with GEW. The mexican wrestler has signed an exclusive 2 year contract worth $90 per show.

GEW's CEO Bryan Vessey said that "he left EILL last month and has been on our radar for some time. We were quick to negotiate as soon as possible to avoid any competition. He has a bright future ahead".
