As you seem a lot heavier on the the rudo front near the top of the card. Although I guess ultimate Phoenix could be in that number two role to Remmy as long as he isn't there to just eat the pins and build up other guys.

This is one of my favorites rosters that I've created. I could add some really good wrestlers when we grew to small size. Frogue Element unemployed was a surprise, I thought I couldn't ignore this guy.

 

There are going to be many new developments. Sunburst and Mustang will be part of them. Also Chess Maniac (I remember you said was one of your favorite wrestlers as well) signed for 2 years and for only $220 per event, he should change his manager.

A cool intro starts with Pantera Roja winning the first match in the history of the company and continues with signature moves from other LAP originals like El Hijo Del Neutron, Mustang Blanco Jr or Chess Maniac. There are no new wrestlers in the video.

Mac Smith: Remmy Skye and Chess Maniac have a long story around the LAP Lucha belt. Eléctrico and Pantera Roja fought for the Supercopa De La Lucha. Eléctrico won it and then Pantera Roja defeated him in a rematch at Estallido.

 

Alfonso Garcia: No matter if it's 1vs1 or 2vs2, they are rivals and also top wrestlers in this company.

 

15 Mins Time Limit Match

REMMY SKYE & ELÉCTRICO vs CHESS MANIAC & PANTERA ROJA

In a match with good story telling, these four wrestlers made references to previous matches and put emphasis in the faces vs heels approach. Chess Maniac and Pantera Roja with their cocky attitude made the fans support Skye and Eléctrico even more. Chess Maniac tried to submit Eléctrico with the Checkmate but Skye was there to help his partner. Apart from that moment, they weren't close to win the match before the time finished.

Alfonso Garcia: Good match that ends without winners.

 

Grace Harper: This people don't have a clue about wrestling. How can you boo a tag team formed by Chess Maniac and Pantera Roja? It doesn't make sense!

Grace Harper: Lilly & Rose were the first champions and they are the favorites to win tonight for me.

 

Mac Smith: These two tag teams have met just 2 times in 2vs2 matches and both of them were title matches. Lilly & Rose won the titles at Coronación in the first match and Las Eléctricas won the titles at Venganza in the second one.

This match was very open and dynamic. Alina and Debbie started the match and they were completely even. Then Electric Dreamer and Debbie Rose tagged in. Electric Dreamer was doing well and eventually went for the Electric Chair, but Rose reversed it and send her against the turnbuckle where Lilly hit her with elbow blows repeatedly before they hit her with The Thorn. Kate Lilly pinned Electric Dreamer to win the titles.

And all of them will take part in a Trios Match in our Main Event tonight!

 

Mac Smith: This last episode before Escalera De Oro will be very interesting.

Alfonso Garcia: Welcome to Lucha America Productions! Welcome to Escalera De Oro!

 

Mac Smith: We've been to this place many times, let me tell you that I've never seen this place like this.

 

Grace Harper: This is what I call a sold out arena, Mac. I can't see any empty seat.

 

Alfonso Garcia: And soon you won't see anyone sitting, Grace, because in our first match tonight LAP Lucha champion Remmy Skye makes his eighth title defence against Chess Maniac. Samael The Executioner makes his debut in LAP vs Eléctrico. Perez Xtreme and Segunda Generación in one the most heated feud we've ever seen. LAP Women's Parejas champions Lilly & Rose defend their titles in a rematch vs Las Eléctricas. And in our Main Event tonight the 6-Way Escalera De Oro Ladder Match where the winner earns a title shot at the LAP Lucha title at our season finale event!

 

Alfonso Garcia: Let's talk about the first match of the night, LAP Lucha champion Remmy Skye defends the title against Chess Maniac!

 

Mac Smith: This is the third time they face and all of them have been title matches. Chess Maniac is 12-2-0 in singles competition and his two losses were those matches against Skye. Remmy Skye is making his eighth title defence and has a perfect 11-0-0 record in singles competition.

 

Alfonso Garcia: It's the third part of a classic matchup, wrestling at its best, you can't ask for more.

 

Grace Harper: I disagree with you guys. Do we really know if Remmy Skye is drug-free? This whole reign is overshadowed by drugs.

 

Alfonso Garcia: Grace you don't have any evidence of that. What we really know is that these wrestlers are two of the best in the world right now and we should enjoy this match guys.

 

LAP LUCHA CHAMPIONSHIP

REMMY SKYE (c) vs CHESS MANIAC

This match was different from the previous two between these opponents as they worked the crowd much more to begin the match because they had to open the show. But that didn't affect the qualify of the match, after that early phase it just got better and better. Skye delivered a tope con hilo, but Chess Maniac in this match replied with an aerial move of his own as he nailed a diving double axe handle. Chess Maniac was putting on an all-round performance. Mac Smith: Good match, but maybe Las Eléctricas were a bit too hasty tonight, they didn't control the tempo of the match. They put heart but their plan wasn't as good as usual.

Time for the 6-Way Escalera De Oro Ladder Match where Jagged, Magnifico, El Orgulloso, Pantera Roja, Scarlet Scarab and Sunburst have to climb a golden ladder to win the match and to earn a title shot at the LAP Lucha championship at our season finale event.

 

Grace Harper: You know my favorite to win this match has to be Pantera Roja. He's above everyone else in this match, although there are very strong opponents like Jagged or Scarlet Scarab.

 

Mac Smith: You're right Grace, but Magnifico has made an instant impact in the company too, also Sunburst is on a four match winning streak in singles competition... I think everyone is a legitimate contender here.

 

Main Event: ESCALERA DE ORO (6-Way Ladder Match)

JAGGED vs MAGNIFICO vs EL ORGULLOSO vs

vs PANTERA ROJA vs SCARLET SCARAB vs SUNBURST

This six wrestlers went all out in a match full of dangerous aerial spots. Pantera Roja was the first to have a clear opportunity to climb the golden ladder but Sunburst pushed the ladder in the last moment. Magnifico cleaned the golden ladder after he got rid of Jagged and Scarlet Scarab but Pantera Roja showed up on time to ruin his moment. Sunburst threw El Orgulloso outside the ring and started to climb the golden ladder as the astonished crowd cheered the underdog who seemed to have a clear path to victory, but again the fierce Pantera Roja destroyed everything and everyone to stop him. When Pantera Roja was about to climb the ladder, Magnifico connected the Magnifico Cradle out of nowhere and the crowd erupted, but immediately Jagged attacked him from behind with the Jagged Edge and no one could stop him.

Mac Smith: There're many stories here. Lilly & Rose will defend the LAP Women's Parejas titles at Lucha Fest against Tex-Mex. Las Eléctricas (Alina America and Electric Dreamer) faced each other last week in the semifinals of the Women's Tournament, where Dreamer won the match and we'll see tonight if any problems have arisen in this tag team.

Alfonso Garcia: And our card tonight is hard to beat guys. El Toro De Oro Jr finally faces Samael The Executioner. Eléctrico and Pantera Roja end their rivalry tonight. Perez Xtreme and Segunda Generación in a wild Tables Match. Simony Sentinel and Electric Dreamer fight for the first LAP Women's title. LAP Women's Parejas champions Lilly & Rose defend their titles against Tex-Mex. And the Main Event, LAP Lucha champion Remmy Skye defends the title against Escalera De Oro winner Jagged in a Ladder Match!

 

 

Grace Harper: Tonight is the night my client Jagged will become the new LAP Lucha champion guys.

 

Alfonso Garcia: But we have even more action tonight, Grace. It's time for the first match, Chess Maniac vs Magnifico!

 

Mac Smith: Chess Maniac challenged Magnifico in a This Is Lucha episode. Chess Maniac is 13-3-0 in singles competition, but he has only lost to Remmy Skye. Magnifico has a perfect record of 3-0-0.

In a good match to work the crowd, Chess Maniac tried to use the Checkmate but a rope break collapsed the move, then Magnifico went for the Magnifico Cradle but Chess Maniac reversed it to a back breaker.

Mac Smith: Samael The Executioner has been a nightmare for El Toro De Oro Jr in the last weeks. Samael's attacks and threatens to El Toro were continuous. El Toro is 5-4-0 in singles competition in LAP and I'm sure he wants to take revenge tonight, but Samael is a heavyweight with a perfect 3-0-0 record.

 

Grace Harper: I don't think Samael is going to have mercy on Golden Bull.

 

EL TORO DE ORO JR vs SAMAEL THE EXECUTIONER

It was a wild brawl that finished when Samael The Executioner hit El Toro De Oro Jr with The Execution.

Alfonso Garcia: El Toro has been Samael's toughest opponent in LAP so far, but in the end he fell short. It's time for a trios match, Amazing Fire Fly, Frogue Element and Ultimate Phoenix vs El Orgulloso, Máscara Roja Jr and Scarlet Scarab.

 

Grace Harper: Some people could think this is a minor match but I can tell you that everyone wants to win in a season finale event.

Alfonso Garcia: It's time for Eléctrivo vs Pantera Roja!

 

Mac Smith: There has been a long feud between these two. Eléctrico won the Supercopa De La Lucha final against Pantera Roja, who said that he lost only because he had a long match in the semifinals. In a rematch at Estallido Pantera Roja defeated Eléctrico. So they are 1-1 and also many 2vs2 matches where they faced each other have contributed to make this an anticipated final match to end this rivalry.

 

Grace Harper: There's no way that old fart Eléctrico is leaving this building with a win tonight.

 

ELÉCTRICO vs PANTERA ROJA

The crowd supported veteran Eléctrico, but Pantera Roja's energy and determination had a big role in a long match. Pantera Roja hit Eléctrico with the Tumbleweed Legdrop.

Mac Smith: Pantera Roja finishes this feud on top with this win and he really had to work for it.

 

Alfonso Garcia: In our next match, Perez Xtreme vs Segunda Generación in a Tables Match.

 

Mac Smith: This is one of the hottest stories we've seen in LAP. Perez Xtreme defeated Segunda Generación at Noche De Estrellas. Then Segunda Generación defeated Perez Xtreme at Batalla De América. Perez Xtreme won the third match at Escalera De Oro. Perez Xtreme dominates 2-1 the 2vs2 matches, but there have been singles and trios matches as well as attacks by Perez Xtreme during the last months. Segunda Generación asked LAP owner Joaquin Soler for a stipulation for this match.

PEREZ XTREME (FRANKIE PEREZ & JONNIE PEREZ) vs SEGUNDA GENERACIÓN (EL HIJO DEL NEUTRON & MUSTANG BLANCO JR)

In an absolutely frenetic car crash, Perez Xtreme started dominating Segunda Generación. Perez Xtreme hit El Hijo Del Neutron with the PX-Clutch but Mustang Blanco Jr saved him. After a very bad landing for Jonnie Perez, Segunda Generación were in a virtual 2vs1 against Frankie. After a fantastic combination, Segunda Generación hit Frankie Perez with the Neutron Accelerator leaving him out cold. Segunda Generación put Frankie and Jonnie over two tables. With the crowd on fire, El Hijo Del Neutron and Mustang Blanco Jr jumped from opposite top turnbuckles to break the two tables at the same time for an instant classic finish.

Alfonso Garcia: It's time for the Main Event! LAP Lucha champion Remmy Skye makes his ninth defence against Escalera De Oro winner Jagged in a Ladder match.

 

Mac Smith: It's going to be a battle between two undefeated wrestlers in this company. Remmy Skye is 13-0-0 and Jagged is 7-0-0 in singles competition.

 

Alfonso Garcia: Those records are absolutely incredible, Mac.

 

Mac Smith: They are also two great Ladder Match specialists: Skye advanced to the first LAP Lucha title match after beating Frankie Perez in a Ladder Match and Jagged won the Escalera De Oro 6-Way Ladder Match. 

 

Alfonso Garcia: And don't forget that Jagged has our colleague Grace Harper by his side. We knew Grace hated Remmy Skye since day one but I never thought she'd go as far as becoming Skye's challenger's manager.

We had no doubts that this match would be full of dangerous aerial spots and it didn't take long to deliver. Skye hit Jagged with a clean meteora and Jagged replied a couple of minutes later with a spectacular tope con hilo. Grace Harper distracted Skye and Jagged hit him with a ladder and then started to climb it, but Skye stood up before he could finish and pushed the ladder. Skye was close to retrieve the LAP Lucha belt, but Jagged got to the bottom of the ladder on time to pull his right foot, just before Skye kicked him and then landed on him with the Skye Diver. The crowd on its feet and Skye retrieved the LAP Lucha title!

Alfonso Garcia: We have many surprises tonight. But lets see what's happening on the ring first.

 

New LAP Women's champions Electric Dreamer adresses the fans.

 

(Fans stop her speech before she can even start with "You deserve it" chants)

 

Electric Dreamer: ¡No me hagan llorar! Thank you, I couldn't have won without your support, I owe you so much!

 

Women's Tournament finalist Simony Sentinel comes out to congratulate the winner and offers to shake hands. The crowd shouts "No, no, no" but Dreamer shakes hands and immediately Sentinel attacks her.

ELÉCTRICO & MAGNIFICO vs PHOENIX SUN (ULTIMATE PHOENIX & SUNBURST)

This match revolves around the story of Phoenix and Sunburst developing chemistry as a tag-team while they face two veterans, but they found that chemistry between them wasn't good. Sunburst hit Eléctrico with the Sun-Spot to win the match.

Mac Smith: We all know perfectly well Pantera Roja, one of the most feared opponents in LAP, who is also coming off a big win against Eléctrico at season one finale event Lucha Fest. So I'm focusing on Amazing Fire Fly, who is 3-2-0 in singles competition and is also participating in Torneo De Parejas. His partner will be Rapido and they are registered for the tournament as Fire Attack.

 

Main Event:

AMAZING FIRE FLY vs PANTERA ROJA

This was a frenetic match full of dangerous aerial spots where both wrestlers delighted the fans with their incredible maneuvers. One of the highlights was when Amazing Fire Fly landed on Pantera after an amazing shooting star press to pin him, but he kicked out at 2. A couple of minutes later, Pantera Roja weakened his opponent with a diving corkscrew senton and then hit him with the Feline Instinct to secure the win.
