Coop
I know it is always argued but I still feel KY should be southeast. Reason why. If you are playing rw mod. Lets take the 70's. Your running a TN company, your in the NWA. This umbrella, you cant run shows in KY. But They were done repeatedly. Lousiville, and others. Memphis would run to Evansille IN. not so much worried about that. But KY I always move the venues for KY to southeast.

I think there's a stronger argument for Kentucky to be Great Lakes than Mid-Atlantic, and will probably classify it that way (or South East!) in my own mods. SkyCrasher
I thought Kentucky was always meant to be Great Lakes... that's where I've been putting my OVW guys
ViatorLipsia
Why is Armenia and Azerbaidjan Eastern Central Europe and not Eastern Europe ?!
d12345
The game mentions that Eastern Europe now includes 'The Stans'. I assume that means all the Central Asian countries from Kazahkstan to Afghanistan.
Brozone
Another game & yet again nothing for China or the rest of Asia..... Apparently Japan is the only place in Asia.
Foryst
Hmmm... I am a bit surprised with Armenia and Azerbaijan in East-Cen Europe instead of East, (when wrestling was starting becoming pro these countries were in Soviet Union) but that is rather fixable, either with moving or some splits in Eastern Europe region. It's interesting why some parts of the world aren't seen though. It could be a way to form some sort of a "Rest of World" region consisting of Carribeans, Latin America, Africa, Arab States, China, South East Asia and Oceania, with little to no spillover... but that would be probably hectic to code into to not destroy the regional balance... thecoolestjedi12
I think i've spent msot of my time on the web on these pictures of the maps. Again; thanks for this, Its getting bookmarked for this edition, too
SkyCrasher
I think at this point the Eastern Europe region can be summed up as "countries Adam thinks Russia will swallow up before the next TEW". Depressing, I know, but that would explain why Georgia is grouped with it too.

lavelleuk
Is it just Europe that's had some regions move round?
Foryst
Hmmm.. so the current regional divide looks something like this... Wonder if we can somehow improve it more... 🤔 (I will prepare that map with each division later) Edited August 4 by Foryst

They're in the Mod Preview & Questions thread, one of the issues we ran into during 2020 was that some forums had way too much stuff stickied/pinned to the front page so we're mitigating that by updating the second post of the MP&Q thread with important links for modders too. TheWho87
I've put together a text breakdown for each country/region, mostly since when I double check these maps, looking around Japan can get confusing, I also feel I've given a better breakdown for the British Isles compared to the map. I used the in game world section for the base information with a little expansion from the maps, so these are not a 1:1 translations of the maps. If there is anything wrong or missing I'll fix this list up. United States Based on the states for each region. Hawk1665
These maps were invaluable for my game in 2020 where I used geographic rules on who I could hire to simulate a real life local indie. I was constantly referring back to the maps to make sure I had my regions right. Spectacular work.

We are New England though so unless you just cut Fairfield County out it is better the way it is. Although maybe a rename to Metro Atlantic would ease confusion. thadian
When I google it, it seems the common division which puts Connecticut into the Northeast renames "Tri-State" to "Mid Atlantic". The game's version of Mid Atlantic could also be called "Appalachian Atlantic". If we look at the Real Life Wrestling territories, some towns were used by various territories, generally at different times. This is where Venues and Geotagging becomes powerful. We can relocate or create venues. In that way, we can put any state into any of the in-game Regions, just by using the Venues to "make it so". Michigan isn't in the Southeast? But if I put venues in the Southeast named after Detroit, Lansing, Battle Creek, and Sturgis, all of a sudden, Michigan is in the southeast and the game doesn't know any different. In this way, we can all make the world our own and re-arrange things to some extent. This also lets us place one "city/state" into multiple Regions or even split a state, just by putting some venues in this region and others in that one, all named after "the city" or using its real life venues. And that's before the Geotagging. I am still learning the depth of the new game.
