Definitly great to see you back man, Rhino over Cage- I'm a huge old school ECW fan so I have to pick the last true ECW champion. Senshi over Sabin- Liked Senshi when he was low-Ki, nothing against Sabin, just like Senshi more. Naturals over James Gang - just like the Naturals more than the James Gang. Homicide over AJ - gotta go with Homicide, just cause he is sick in ROH. Robert Roode over Killings - I have to pick Roode cause he is such an up and coming star, also he is canadian like me :D Abyss over Joe - I see joe betting past abyss to make it suspensful to see if he wins the whole thing. Winner of the tournamnent: Robert Roode -Cause he is Canadian- Once again it is great to see you back writing TNA Diaries :D

Cornette got on the mic and told the fans that tonight starts a new age for TNA. One that will see them rise to the very top of the wrestling world. He said that everyone was asking him why TNA was having a tournament to determine the whom the #1 Contender is. He went on to say that it was quite simple really, that there are so many athletes (he put the emphasis on the word athletes) that deserve this shot that the Championship Committee could not decide who was more deserving. So instead of drawing a name from a hat, they decided to hold a mini-tournament over the next few weeks to determine the #1 Contender the old fashioned way, by beating out other men for the shot, and to set up a rankings system for the Championship Committee. He demanded a shot at the World Title without having to go threw some stupid tournament. He reminds everyone (yet again) that he never lost the Title in the first place and that if TNA were fair they would just give him back the Title. However since he knows that will never happen he will settle for kicking the crap out of Sting at Genesis. He also reminds everyone that, just like TNA’s Golden Boy Samoa Joe, he is undefeated in TNA so far. He says that Cornette can save everybody some time and just sign him to the Title match at Genesis. Cornette says that he has one word for Christian, NO. He says that all Christian has been doing since he lost the belt was piss and moan, bitch and cry about it. Cornette says that if it were not Christian, Sting would have been the World Champion months ago had he not hit him over the head with Jeff Jarrett’s guitar. He says that Christian is lucky that he has not fired his ass yet. Cornette tells Christian to stop being a little crybaby and to start winning matches to move on in the tournament. He answers by saying that yes, he does deserve to be the NWA World Champion, and that Cornette is lucky that he is a gentlemen because he wanted to shove that microphone down his throat earlier. He says that if it were not for Christian Cage, TNA would have sunk months ago. He then asks himself about his opponent, the Master of the Concussion, Rhino. He said that he has yet to earn that right in TNA and he wants to prove to the fans and to TNA Management that he is what he says he is, and that’s the best wrestler in the world today. He said that as much as he wants to face and kick the crap out of Samoa Joe, TNA Management has put a hold on that for the moment. So he is putting out an open challenge to anyone in the back who is willing to step up and face him in the ring. For a few moments nothing happens, but just as Angle is about to speak again, The Fallen Angel Christopher Daniels comes out to the entranceway. He says that all his life he has fought to be the best, and now he has a chance to prove that by beating Kurt Angle. Ms. Brooks says that its simple, she says that TNA has realized that her client, Robert Roode, is the future of TNA and its savior. She says that TNA realizes that Robert Roode equals ratings and a Robert Roode vs. Sting match for the NWA World Heavyweight Championship would generate huge buy rates for the company. Roode stands next to Ms. Brooks and rubs his hands together and smiles as his manager does all the talking. He says that Homicide is one of the most dominate wrestlers in the business today and with LAX behind him they will rip the throat out of any gringo that dares to get in there way, starting with the bitch AJ Styles tonight. “Olalla, La Riva La Rasa!” Konnan walks off screen and Homicide does the sound of a machine gun while making the motion with his hand before leaving the screenshot as well. Rating: B- vsw/ #1 Contenders Tournament AJ Styles vs. Homicide w/ Konnan o This was a vicious brawl from the very get go. o Homicide took AJ out of his element by going to the knee early and hurting the Phenomenal one. o Homicide worked on the knee for most of the match, stretching it, slamming it and trying to get AJ to submit. o However AJ has too much heart and fights on. o AJ kicked Homicide off of him as he went for another submission move. o In an amazing feat of athleticism, AJ leaps to his feet and then in one fluid motion hits Homicide with the Pele out of nowhere!! o Konnan decides to try and get involved when Christopher Daniels runs down to ringside and pulls him off the apron. o Daniels grabs the slapjack away from Konnan and slides it into the ring as the ref argues with Konnan and Daniels. o In another amazing move, AJ kicks the slapjack right into the face of Homicide, knocking the holder of one half of the NWA World Tag Team Championships out cold. o A pinfall later and AJ Styles advances in the tournament. o Scott D’Amore screams how AJ and Daniels just screwed LAX, but Don West calls it a little bit of payback! Winner: AJ Styles in 13:22 Rating: B In a segment recorded earlier, Mike Tenay sat down with the former NWA World Heavyweight Champion Jeff Jarrett. In the recent weeks, Jarrett has been showing a side of himself to the TNA fans that we have never seen before. On the sudden change in his attitude: After losing to Sting, he says that he felt a shift inside of him. Something changed and his wants and desires somehow shifted away from the NWA World Title and from being at the top. For the past 4 years he bled and sweat TNA and that World Title, and as a result, he lost touch with the most important things in his life. On if he wishes to return to the ring, or is this retirement: He says that this is defiantly not retirement, but he needs to step back for now. He says that TNA and wrestling are in his blood and he has no desire to put that behind him yet, but he does need a break. On the #1 Contenders Tournament: Jarrett says that TNA has the best roster; top to bottom, in the entire professional wrestling world and this tournament proves it. Weather its from the X-Division or the Heavyweight it does not matter since everybody has that spark in them for greatness. He says he can see anyone of the participants winning the tournament, he only hopes that Sting is ready for them. On Sting: He says that Sting is a man of integrity, of courage and of heart. No other person in this industry can constantly re-invent themselves to the degree that Sting has. When Sting came out at Bound For Glory 2 he knew that he was a changed man. He says that he only hopes that Sting is ready for what he was gotten himself into because it wore him down to the bone. Rating: A The camera goes backstage where James Mitchell is with his Monster Abyss. Mitchell goes on to talk about how many times Abyss has been screwed out of his chance at the World Title, and tonight they put him up against the so-called unbeatable Samoa Joe. He tells Joe that he has never stepped foot in the ring one-on-one with The Monster Abyss, but once he does he will understand why they call him a Monster. He said that as much as he wants to face and kick the crap out of Samoa Joe, TNA Management has put a hold on that for the moment. He says that TNA and wrestling are in his blood and he has no desire to put that behind him yet, but he does need a break. On the #1 Contenders Tournament: Jarrett says that TNA has the best roster; top to bottom, in the entire professional wrestling world and this tournament proves it. Excellent show I like how you tapped into what happening is happening now for real in TNA as your starting base but have taken things in your own direction With Joe now occupied in what looks like a feud with Raven...I can see Abyss winning the tournament, and I can see him eventually winning the world title. Comparing it to the real life product again - your booking also shows how much better iMPACT! could be if it had two hours, instead of one.

Hey, dude, great show. I'm a bit bummed out about Rhino's elimination from the tournament but, equally, I love that the big bastard Abyss has advanaced! A feud looks set for Joe and Raven... this has to be good but, be warned, that if Raven wins, I'll spam you to hell :D. Seriously, though, good work on a great show. Quote The Raven Nevermore
Great first show, Stallion; way better than the stuff going on in the real world TNA, right now. Quick sidenote though.. Konnan's line is "Orale! Arriva la raza!" Just letting you know. :D
Actually it's Arriba la raza. "Celebrate the Race" Other than that... great show! I'm liking it so far.
