WWF Report:
- We've spent hours negotiating with MSW on the benefits of a mutual working agreement. Conversely, MSW has spent an equal amount of time explaining to GCW how just such a relationship would only serve to benefit the WWF. As a result, both MSW and GCW have not only agreed to sever our non-aggression pacts, but have also jointly issued a declaration of War with the WWF. Harumph! If this is how they receive our gesture of good will then so be it and have at it. WWF will not be caught behind the eightball under any circumstances. Should things work out like we are hoping, then MSW will be left in a very unfortunate predicament. Ahh well... You make your bed... - As for the AWA... Negotiations went very well for the most part. We were not able to establish a working agreement with their promotion, but the non-aggression pact has indeed been severed with no repercussions whatsoever. This is a good thing for us at the least as we are now able to freely sign some of there talent. And sign we will... - WWF has entered into negotiations with the following AWA personnel: Hulk Hogan Jesse "The Body" Ventura Bobby "The Brain" Heenan - Negotiations abound this week for Titan Sports as we precede to raid several promotions throughout the country in an effort to upgrade or revitalize our own product.
Alright! You know I'm looking forward to seeing this! You were always excellent at writing out diaries and I expect no less from this one.
Thanks man. You already know how I feel about your input. I also know that you were partial to my old diary which is why I quoted you. I'm gonna try my best to live up to that last one with this but I must say, it's a tall order to be sure. I've been plotting this out for awhile now and I have several stories ready to go, but I don't know if the fervor is there with this yet. That'll come when the characters start speaking to me tho. Reading your MACW diary again has definitely inspired me to give the DOTT diary thing another go. Thanks again man and as always, you have carte blanche to chime in here on anything you want. I truly value your input! Anyone else who may be following this, I have PLENTY of things in store as well as several surprises. For those who don't know, I looove the swerve! I also like build up so I'm going to ask for patience here as I want the story to serve itself as it unfolds. Now then, WWF Championship Wrestling is up next which means a long write up right out of the gate for a new years supercard. In the meantime, here is a link to my old DOTT WCW Black Saturday diary. It may give you guys some insight into the depth of story as well as the type of shows you can expect from this diary. That and it serves as a shameless plug:D At any rate, here it is: http://www.greydogsoftware.com/forum/showthread.php?t=11322
Fantastic. If I'm not mistaken, I recall reading your old DOTT diary which inspired me to write a diary. Viva la DOTT
Wow! Thanks man. I remember you as you left a comment in my old diary that came highly appreciated. I'm also very aware of your diary and had no idea that I somehow had something to with the scribing of such a fine piece of work! Thanks for the comments/compliments, and more importantly for the motivation!

Mate, I think it was D Boon's Ghost who said it best when he basically said with your diary you captured the spirit of the time so well. I've seen some good DOTT diaries, and I've seen one's who try to change the face of history too much and lose sight of how different it must have been, and then there's yours whose diary hits the nail on the head as far as the tension of the time goes. That's the essence of how brilliant that diary was. After reading that diary, I started looking through obsessedwithwrestling, Mid Atlantic Gateway, even low and behold wikipedia and the likes to try and learn as much about that time as I could. Coming from New Zealand originally our televised wrestling started if memory serves me correctly around about 1987-1988, and it was only WWF until the mid 90's. So I had literally no idea on the true passion and defiance and mayhem of the times your diary spoke of - and the good thing was, your diary mirrored in its sentiment the way various other sites play the experience out. I'll be truly engrossed waiting to see what you do with the World Wrestling Federation, which as I stated in another DOTT WWF diary, I can't believe how ordinary their roster is overall and given that I can't believe how quickly they revolutionised the professional wrestling market. If anyone can truly encapsulate that, it's you. Good luck.

Georgia's regional promotion also took a loss as Paul Orndorff informed Ole Anderson that he too would be leaving for the Tri-State. Everyone is remaining tight lipped as to the exact nature of these actions, but it's clear, the smaller promotions are expecting to hear some word from NWA President Bob Geigel of the Central States, or Jim Crockett Promotions down in the Mid-Atlantic regarding acts which clearly go against the values of the Territorial System... As it now stands, C-STATES as well as MACW remain non-aggressive with CWC/Titan Sports, However, WWF has no intentions of letting up in this so called war with the South and we eagerly seek any chance to further cripple our enemies. Remember the report on the major star we've been in contact with? the one expected to up the entertainment value of the company? Well, he signed and I'll tell you what... The price of entertainment is too much! $5,000 too much. With a downside almost equaling his appearance price, he darn well better be entertaining! Otherwise, "I PITY THAT FOOL"! That said... - WWF is raising ticket prices for all events by a sum of $4.00 across the boards! - Nikolai Volkoff has obtained the managerial services of Classy Freddie Blassie and along with The Iron Sheik, is demanding a shot at The Strongbow’s Tag Team Championships. Personally, I appreciate their desire to show and prove, but this team needs to PROVE they deserve the shot before waltzing in the door and demanding one. As such, The United Forces as Volkoff and The Sheik are calling themselves, will be given just such an opportunity in a non-title match against the Strongbow’s this Saturday night. In further tag team news, Vince McMahon (pick one) has informed me that Pat Patterson will be returning to the ring for a final run. He will be teaming with long time friend, Ray Stevens and is expected to add some much needed legitimacy to the main event tag division. Also, expect to see the sibling combination of "The Genius & The Savage", Lanny and Randy Poffo in action sometime in the very near future. - The Buswhackers are another team expected to make waves upon arrival in the company. WWF and more importantly, yours truly is high on this team. Both Butch and Luke bring a raw and unorthodox style to the promotion. Their uncanny in-ring exploits should do well in helping to revolutionize the product. - Indeed, this IS a revolution! We're breaking rules. We've got new signings... BIG NAMES! We're in the midst of a war, and what's more is our status within the NWA is being called into question. The eyes of the wrestling world our on us and this Saturday night, you've my personal guarantee... Everything changes! Stay tuned Folks!
