American Armageddon (Round 2) - A 3 Player C-Verse Dynasty

Recommended Posts

Sadly, one of our players from the 4 player version of this had to drop out. We mourn his loss but we shall not for long cos we've started again with the other three of us. As before, this is a quick intro into the whole thing. While backstories may be included somewhere, they aren't terribly important. Using the default data we've taken over the three biggest promotion in the USA at the start of the game in straight edge mode. So if we get fired, we may need to change the name of the diary one day. :) Anyways, here's the who's who. SWF - derek_b TCW - Goldenskillz USPW - Craig Edwards Gremlinator With everyone battling against each other, not to mention against the rest of the wrestling world and their own owners, watch as each of the bookers struggle to make their promotion the only one worth watching! The lives of hundreds of men and women are in the hands of just three men, each with their own vision of how wrestling should be. Will the stars of today be the jobbers of tomorrow? Will any of the loyal stars be deemed surplus ro requirements? Will there be any radical overhauls in any of the companies? Will the new bookers raid the indy scene to inject new blood into their respective promotions? There's only one way to find out and thats to stay tuned to... this thread! Do it! You know you want to!

You want a roster post? You got it! Here is the SWF as I've inherited it, with bits of data made up wherever appropriate. ;) ROSTER Faces in blue - heels in red MAIN EVENT Christian Faith Enygma Skull DeBones Jack Bruce Steve Frehley Eric Eisen Runaway Train - SWF World Heavyweight Champion (since Oct 06) Remo UPPER MIDCARD Lobster Warrior Elmo Benson Groucho Bling Joe Sexy Sam Keith Rich Money - SWF North American Champion (since Sep 06) Angry Gilmore Squeeky McClean MIDCARD Randy Bumfhole Robbie Retro Jumbo Shrimp Calamari Kid Bart Biggz - SWF World Tag Team Champion (since Aug 06) Brett Biggz - SWF World Tag Team Champion (since Aug 06) Marc DuBois Enforcer Roberts Federique Antonio Garcia Kurt Laramee BS Scott (Big Smack Scott) LOWER MIDCARD Akima Brave Kid Toma Zimmy Bumfhole - SWF Shooting Star Champion (since Nov 06) Grease Hogg Lead Belly Shady K Knuckles JOB SQUAD Andre Jones Mikel Alonso MANAGERS Jessie - currently managing Angry Gilmore and Joe Sexy Dawn the Cheerleader - no clients just now The Guru - currently managing Runaway Train AUTHORITY FIGURE Richard Eisen
Eisen's Demands Do you ever wonder what it's like when someone offers you a job and gives you free reign? Apparantly that's what I've been given by Richard Eisen, as long as after 2 years I've made money. I've got 22 million bucks to throw at the wrestling scene in any way I see fit and some pretty excellent job security. If anyone knows the benefits of a good working atmosphere, it's Richard Eisen and he didn't want to put pressure on my early on. Afterall, while it's sometimes useful tobe stressed, it ain't healthy in the long run. Which might be one of the reasons he agreed with me when I said we need to blood some new stars as soon as possible. Not that we were lacking in star power or anything, but because some of our upper card were advancing in years and could easily be replaced by some more exciting talents as I revamp the company's image. In fact, Mr Eisen himself said that I was banned from hiring any wrestlers over 42 years of age. Hell, who am I to argue? Old timers belong in USPW where they can try to relive their glory days, not in the SWF where we actually have glory. And some people say Richard Eisen is an unreasonable man. Mind you, having said that, he wasn't very subtle when I was talking to him. He kept talking about "having faith" in me and everyone else, like he was trying to suggest I should be pushing someone in particular. Hmm.... Oh, and Eric Eisen was there too. He seems to like his new heel character and with Enforcer Roberts doing for Eric what he used to do for Richard, I get the feeling that the boss might like me to push Eric too. Call it a hunch.
SWF Programming Coming Soon To Your TV! Well, we might be changing stations soon, both in the US and the UK. With both TV contracts for Supreme TV coming up for negotiations, I want to get into better competition with TCW, who have been dry-humping us in the ratings lately. Fortunately those viewers aren't tuning into PPV as much as ours are, but its only a matter of time. I don't want the SWF to be second to anyone on anything, so its time to get a better contract and perhaps extend Supreme TV to a full two hours instead of the 90 minutes we currently have. And with all the major storylines seeming to have come to a halt at Christmas Clash, there needs to be a rapid build to the next PPV in just two weeks. We need to get people interested and we need to do it fast. And thats why I was brought in. After the last PPV, storylines haven't been moving forward much as the SWF put on some compilation shows over the Xmas break. Which pretty much gives me a clean slate.... but not very much time. So to build up some hype, Richard Eisen will be making an announcement on the first SWF Supreme TV of the year that will have implications for the future of the SWF! What is it about? Lets just say that its going to be "classy" and see if you can guess! :p
Final Thoughts From A New Booker All in all, I think I've got a pretty good chance of success here. Not only have I managed to get a job as one of the most important people in the world of wrestling, but I've got a damn good roster to help me out. With a good mix of veteran stars and talented youngsters, the SWF has a bright future. It even has a good tag team division, something wrestling was lacking until not long ago and something I certainly plan on making feel important once again. Some of the older guys are however cluttering up some of the card, especially at the top end of things. It's no secret that I'm a fan of signing youngsters and developing them into stars, I suspect the older guys know that too. Its entirely possible that I'm going to be dropping them down the card while they teach the new guys the tricks of the trade. Its not like I'm going to destroy their careers or anything, just that I'm going to hope that the new guys can carry the company for a LONG time rather than for the few remaining years the vets have. Its also no secret that I like to take wrestling more seriously than most. I'm generally pretty laid back but this is a show about people fighting not a show about who has the best one liners. Comedy has it's place but its secondary to wrestling skill. Underwater Union, you boys had better show that you can get it done in the ring or you could all be looking for a new job pretty soon. Of course, some people are also in line for a push too. But if I told you who, that would spoil the fun, wouldn't it? Lets just say that there will be at least one new name going in the history books as World Champion sometime soon and a number of youngsters are going to be moving up the card pretty quickly. And the Shooting Star division is getting some more emphasis too. I don't care how much Eisen doesn't like it, its exciting and it can make him money. But I think he knows that now. People watch USPW for old folks, they watch TCW for SWF failures and cast-offs and they watch the SWF because we're bigger and better than anyone else.

This is just a copy over from old 4 player diary Well basacially this is just a quick look over the TCW roster, nothing has changed yet since i inherited Tommy C's band of misfits. As you can see for yourself the roster is jam packed with Heels especially near the top end of the card. The wrestlers with a (F) next to them are being considered for being fired but have not been released as of yet. Main Eventers Tommy Cornell - Heel and TCW World Champion BLZ Bubb - Heel Texas Pete - Heel Troy Tornado - Heel Liberty - Face Ricky Dale Johnson - Face Upper Mid Wolf Hawkins - Heel Rocky Golden - Heel and TCW International Champion American Buffalo - Heel Rick Law - Face Genghis Rahn - Heel (F) Joel Bryant - Heel Midcard Robert Oxford - Heel Randall Hopkirk - Face Wrestling Machine #1 - Heel - TCW Tag Champ Wrestling Machine #2 - Heel - TCW Tag Champ Raul Darkness - Heel Ronnie V.Pain - Heel Billy Jack Shearer - Face (F) Charlie Thatcher - Heel Giant Tana - Face (F) Lower Jay Darkness - Heel Stink - Heel (F) Chance Fortune - Face - TCW All Action Grunt - Heel (F) Openers Aaron Andrews - Face Harry allen - Face Freddy Huggins - Heel Enhancement Steve Gumble - Face Ice Man C.A. - Face (F) So now i have 2 child feds one of which is MAW the other of which is CZCW. Well thats is my current roster, how im gonna take them to challenge SWF i really do not know, they are all untalented and the wrestlers i can sign has been greatly reduced. Stay tuned for more news from TCW and its battle for supremacy.

Sounds great so far guys I'll be watching it. To bad the fourth guy bailed on you, this dynasty would be perfect with someone running DAVE. Oh well though, if you guys ever do another multiplayer let me know, I'd love to get in on it. In the mean time I've subscribed to this one.

.
January Week 1 In front of 9,941 fans in the Connecticut Symphony Hall, the SWF presents.... SWF Supreme TV
The show opens with Richard Eisen in the ring making his announcement. He said that just like last year, there would be a shake-up in the SWF. He said it starts tonight, as the "Class of 2006" graduates from the SWF's private training school were going to debut, with at least one worker debuting every show this month. (B+) He then introduces the first star to make his appearance on the show, the "Amazing" Jacob Jett (C-) Jacob Jett vs Akima Brave In an exciting fast paced match that prior to tonight we have rarely had the chance to see on SWF programming, Jett and Akima tore up the ring and almost a few of the fans in the front row watching. An excellent showing from both men, who showed an excellent understanding of each other's style in the ring which really added to the match. What a debut for Jett!! WINNER - Jacob Jett defeated Akima Brave in 12:58 by submission with a Jett Engine. (A) After the match, Jacob Jett let everyone in the arena know what his intentions were, at least in the short term. Much like Marc DuBois from last year, he's out to claim the SWF Shooting Star title. (D-)
Backstage, we see Steve Frehley and Jack Bruce talking to each other. Each one is trying to convince the other one why they should be the #1 contender to the SWF title. (B+) Richard Eisen says that he'll announce who he feels the #1 contender to the SWF World title is next week. He also makes a match to see if Frehley and Bruce can stake a claim to the belt. Tonight, it'll be Steve Frehley and Jack Bruce against Runaway Train and a mystery partner of Train's choice. (B+)
The live crowd are treated so some funky disco beats thanks to Robbie Retro making his entrance... shudder... Thankfully he's interupted by Eric Eisen who gets boo'ed out the house by the crowd. Eric says that Robbie needs to pay his dues in the SWF before he can waste time dancing and brings out his enforcer, the aptly named Enforcer Roberts, to teach him some respect. Retro looks worried. (C+) Robbie Retro vs Enforcer Roberts This match reminded me of the matches Calamari Kid had when he debuted in the SWF as a famous backyarder.... he was stretched, stiffed and basically tortured for a year and that is what it musta felt like for Retro in this one. Still, I have to say I enjoyed it, even if Retro didn't but it was clearly a mis-match. WINNER - Enforcer Roberts defeated Robbie Retro in 9:07 by submission with a R.C.T. (B-) After the match, Eric Eisen gets some bonus heel heat by giving Retro a couple of kicks while he's down. Eric and Enforcer Roberts celebrate briefly before heading backstage. (B)
Let me know if you've heard this one already... a giant crustacean and a sushi dish walk into a bar... well, Jumbo Shrimp and Calamari Kid walk into a bar since they have the night off. They like having fun... but when Grease Hogg and Lead Belly spy them, it doesn't take long for an argument (D+) and then a fight to break out. The Squid Squad vs The Dirty White Boys Bar Room Brawl This one didn't last long and it wasn't pretty for the masked meals. They were hit hard and often by the guys who really don't like seeing cartoons walking around while they're still pretty sober. In the end, this pretty one sided affair finished with a bar patron *COUGH*plantedreferee*COUGH* counting the fall and allowing the bikers to get back to their miraculously unspilled drinks. WINNERS: The Dirty White Boys defeated The Squid Squad in 7:48 when Lead Belly defeated Calamari Kid by pinfall with a RPM Bomb. (C+)
Back in the building, BS Scott (thats Big Smack Scott for those of you not keeping up) is in the ring. He says that no-one can beat him and that he's the best wrestler on the face of the planet. He makes an open challenge to anyone so that he can prove it. (B-) Moments later, the lights go out and Skull DeBones is in the ring with BS (B). BS Scott vs Skull DeBones BS Scott's claims to being the best wrestler on the fce of the planet were questioned in this short match. As Scott lunged for SKull, the crowd really thought he might be the best... then it turned out that all his weaknesses became exposed moments later as Skull floored him with one punch. After toying with Scott for a minute or two, Skull decided to end it. And did. The crowd raelly hate to see Scott wrestle... its cos he can't WINNER: Skull DeBones defeated BS Scott in 2:58 by pinfall with a Skull Krusher. (C+) Lots of flashy pyro and lights and smoke dazzle the crowd as Skull hides under the ring to make his big flashy exit. Of course, no-one knows he's under there... they think he's mysteriously disappeared. (B+)
Sam Keith vs Lobster Warrior The announcers put this match over saying the winner might find themselves in line for a title shot sometime soon. I suppose it could happen. (B-) This was an excellent match from both men as Sam took Lobster out of his off-beat stride. Lobster stuck to hsi usual mix of oddness and flashes of brilliance while Sam seemed to be toying with him a times. In the end, Mr Keith pulled out a Proton lock and forced Lobby to tap. WINNER - Sam Keith defeated Lobster Warrior in 14:32 by submission with a Proton Lock. (B+) After the match, Sam taunted Lobster Warrior, saying that no-one takes him seriously and thats why he doesn't get any title shots. People take Squeeky McClean more seriously than Lobster and that's saying something. Harsh words... but true. (B-)
Before our main event match, Steve Frehley and Jack Bruce are backstage, taking some small verbal jabs at each other about who's better and wondering who Runaway Train's partner will be. They both sort of agree that it's probably nobody since Train is too dumb to get a partner. (B+) Jack Bruce and Steve Frehley vs Runaway Train and ??? It looked like Train might almost be wrestling on his own tonight but when The Guru returned to the side of his former client, things changed. It's no secret that Kurt Laramee has been trying to prove himself to the SWF since he defected from "the east" to join the big leagues and this was a chance to shine.... kinda. In actual fact, Laramee was made to look pretty bad by Bruce and Frehley who threw a lot of offense at him before they let him tag in the Train. Train got in some big offense to level things up for a while but when Laramee got back in, it all went to hell for Train/Laramee. When it looked like bad news for Runaway Train, The Guru pulled him from the match, leaving Laramee to face the others o nhis own. Frehley hit the Frehley's Comet on Kurt before Jack finished things off with a New York Minute. WINNERS - Jack Bruce and Steve Frehley defeated Runaway Train and Kurt Laramee in 11:50 when Jack Bruce defeated Kurt Laramee by pinfall with a New York Minute. (B-)

Today's Final Thoughts An excellent first show, at least that's what the fans seem to think. Having kicked our asses in the ratings lately, TCW lost over half their viewers to us this week, probably thanks to the stunning performances of Jett and Akima in the opening match. Next week, I plan to steal more viewers! More! MORE! MORE!! Hrm... expect more signings too folks, apparantly we need to pick up a couple of people to replace the gap made when the Lords of War went to the retirement home... sorry, to USPW. We've got the talent coming in, we just need to get them on TV. And that's just what we'll be doing. So for now, don't read the internet spoilers, watch the shows! Be surprised, inject the passion back into wrestling and argue with everyone about just how much better the SWF is than all the rest. Oh, and buy some merchandise. It shows you support your favourite stars and your favourite company. The SWF.
Held at Evanovich Riverside in front of 9,773 people TCW presents Total Wrestling Segment 1 – The TCW World Champion Tommy Cornell comes down to the ring. He takes a microphone and starts talking to the crowd hyping up his big title match against RDJ this evening, however he is eventually interrupted by his opponent Ricky Dale Johnson. The two spill profanities at each other, going back and forth on the microphone, finally Ricky Dale Johnson vows to defeat Tommy Cornell and end his reign over TCW. Rating B + ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Triple Threat Elimination Tag Match The first match on the card show cased the talent of the tag division with exception of the Tag Champs and the Number One contenders. A solid match all 3 teams showed glimpses of their potential, the Young Guns were eliminated first after both the other teams worked against them and hit a 4 man elbow/leg drop combo. Darkness Warriors were eliminated last. The Tag Team Specialists defeated The Young Guns and The Darkness Warriors in 9:44; the order of elimination was The Young Guns first, and finally The Darkness Warriors. Rating C ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Segment 2 – The cameras are following behind Wolf Hawkins as he wanders around backstage until finally Hawkins bursts into Sam Shipp's office and immediately demands to face Rocky Golden for his title... Sam Shipp tells Wolf Hawkins that he has a match already booked against Rick Law tonight and maybe just maybe if he wins tonight he might get his title shot. Rating C+ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Genghis Rahn vs. Rocky Golden for the TCW International Title In what is considered the biggest disappointment of the night by people backstage Rocky Golden defended his match in a terrible match, almost as bad as a UPSW main event. There is talk that the match was such a disappointment that both men may not be with the company much longer. The suffering ended when Rocky hit a 360 sitting power bomb. Rocky Golden defeated Genghis Rahn in 7:46 by pinfall. Rocky Golden makes defence number 1 of his TCW International title. Rating D+ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Segment 3 - Wolf Hawkins runs in and attacks, beating Rocky Golden down into the mat. As Rocky Golden lies in a heap on the floor Wolf shouts at him that TCW needs a new champion one more deserving, one such as himself. He tells Rocky to watch himself because if he doesn’t get his title shot things will only get worse. Rating B- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Segment 4 – We are backstage in the middle of an already heated argument between Troy Tornado and Liberty. Liberty says something that hits Troy Tornado in the wrong spot. The argument escalates and both men have to be pulled apart before a brawl starts out. As they are dragged away both men agree to fight in the ring to determine who the better man is. Rating B+ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Rick Law vs. Wolf Hawkins – Ladder match Winner is Number One contender to TCW International This match is considered the best match of the night with a contract for a title shot above the ring, the first one to scale the ladder would pick up the win. Wolf and Law went at it right from the get go and 2 minutes in the end of the ladder caused a disgusting gash in Wolf’s forehead but he soldiered on. Law was on the other end soon enough as he was DDT’ed onto the ladder his head getting sandwiched between two steps. Law himself was bleeding after missing a moonsault onto the ladder his head bursting with blood on impact. The end came when both men crashed to the outside but Wolf crawled back in and up the ladder that much quicker to get the item. Wolf Hawkins defeated Rick Law in 15:02 when Wolf Hawkins retrieved the item. Rating B ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Segment 5 - After his match Wolf Hawkins remains in the ring. Blood is pouring out of a deep gash in his forehead but despite this Hawkins is grinning. He tells the crowd he defeated Rick Law so next week Rocky Golden will have to defend his title against him on next weeks show. Rating B- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Wrestling Machines vs. Painful Procedure for the TCW Tag Championships The ever impressive Wrestling machines continue their impressive run and were on top for the majority of this match. Things change after a few double teams went wrong and it looked as if Shearer would get a win for his team. However he ended up distracted by Wrestling Machine 1 and Randall fighting on the outside. He turned straight into a viscous hotshot on the ropes. The Machines defeated Painful Procedure in 11:46 when Wrestling Machine #2 defeated Billy Jack Shearer by pinfall with a Vicious Hot Shot. The Machines make defence number 1 of their TCW World Tag Team titles. Rating C- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Segment 6 - A video plays hyping the earlier incident and shoving match that took place between Troy Tornado and Liberty. Rating B+ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Troy Tornado vs. Liberty This match was not on the card and came about because of a backstage incident involving the two men and the personal animosity shone through. Both men hit each other with their hardest moves and at one point Liberty was going to win but a low blow and a super kick finished it for Troy. Troy Tornado defeated Liberty in 13:37 by pinfall by using underhanded tactics. Rating B- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Segment 7 - We are backstage, the camera is focused on the door of a locker room of Tommy Cornell. The reason the cameras are here is because apparently as TCW official was seen entering the room earlier. Suddenly the door creaks open and the camera catches Sam Sparrow leaving the locker room of Tommy Cornell, counting some money, he sees the camera and hides the notes but its to little to late. Rating A ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Segment 8 - BLZ Bubb is in the ring when he promises to introduce us all to his new stable formed earlier tonight when suddenly all the lights go off. When they return, he is down and covered in blood, looked dazed. Whoever attacked him is nowhere to be found. Paramedics and officials rush to help him but he does berserk laying out all officials that step inside the ring before rushing of backstage determined to find the culprit. Rating B+ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Tommy Cornell vs Ricky Dale Johnson for the TCW World Heavyweight Title – USA Barbed Wire Match The Main Event while not spectacular certainly drew the majority of the fans into it. Being a title match both men pulled out some of the biggest moves in their arsenal. Most TCW fans would have been praying for RDJ to finish Cornell’s reign and he came close but Cornell finally was able to hit the Rough Ride for the victory. Tommy Cornell defeated Ricky Dale Johnson in 20:22 by pinfall with a Rough Ride. Tommy Cornell makes defence number 1 of his TCW World Heavyweight title. Although the last half hour ratings for the show was much better, Tommy Cornell seems to think its down to his match. However others think that the fact SWF show is half an hour shorter is the ONLY reason the ratings improved and even Cornell himself knows it but does not wish to admit this in front of the boys. * Sam was said to be very put off by the fact the crowd wanted a more physically intense style of matches and refused to change the ways the matches were booked. However it appears that the lack of physicality really turned the fans and so it seems he is not considering making the promotion more physically intense starting at next weeks show. * The Wolf Hawkins vs. Rick Law match was the highlight of the show and has given a few people hope for the companies future. However this reaction is minimal since even SWF’s opening match consisting of Jacob Jett vs. Akima Brave was considered a better match. * The overall reaction to the show backstage is that Sam’s decision to not make the matches more physically intense when it was cleary what the fans wanted turned the fans against the show. The feeling is if he had given in to what the fans wanted during the show they would have embraced it better. Sam himself refused to admit this but it is widely considered that even he knows he messed up.
January Week 2 In front of 7,954 fans in the Louisiana Auditorium, the SWF presents.... SWF Supreme TV
We were welcomed to the show by the trio of Peter Michaels, Duane Fry and Ana Garcia. We were then greeted by BS Scott making his way and starting to issue his open challenge, and during those 30 seconds about 900,000 people changed the channel, losing us the audience we had stolen from TCW last week. (C+) Thankfully he was interupted by Richard Eisen who said that rather than listen to the massive amount of BS in the ring, we'd get to see two things... first of all, tonight's main event which will see ten men compete in an over the top battle royale to determine who will get a shot at the SWF World Heavyweight Championship in just two days at SWF When Hell Freezes Over (B+).... and we'd get to see BS Scott get his ass handed to him by a graduate of the SWF Training Camp... Jungle Jack!! (C+) BS Scott vs Jungle Jack Unknown to BS Scott, Jungle Jack had snuck into the ring from the crowd and stalked Scott as he yelled at Eisen. Jack and Scott soon engaged in a brawl for a few minutes, which Jack managed to make look half decent. In the end though, the result was as expected as BS Scott failed once again to show that he had any talent, let alone that he was the best wrestler in the world, falling to the Jungle Jack-Hammer. WINNER - Jungle Jack defeated BS Scott in 5:33 by pinfall with a Jungle Jack-Jammer (C-) After the match, Jungle Jack disappears back into the crowd where he came from. Not that many people seemed to care, BS Scott can kill anyone's mood... and ratings. (D-)
Backstage, the star of last week's show and the first of the Class of 2006 to make his debut, Jacob Jett, hypes up a match with Randy Bumfhole. Jett says that after he's done beating Randy, he'll do the same thing to his brother at When Hell Freezes Over. (E+) Jacob Jett vs Randy Bumfhole As expected this was an exciting, high paced, high flying match up that didn't let the remaining viewing audience change the channel. Both men were allowed to showcase their skills to the max and I have to say I was very happy with how well they got the crowd behind them. In the end though, Jett wasn't able to live up to his own hype as he fell to a Bumfhole Buster, one of the worst named moves in all of wrestling. WINNER - Randy Bumfhole defeated Jacob Jett in 11:56 by pinfall with a Bumfhole Buster (B-) With the crowd still cheering the result of the match, Richard Eisen once again makes his presence felt. He tells Jett and Randy that the match they just had was a showcase of the Shooting Star style of wrestling that he helped put on the map (Hah!) and that as such, it was good enough to be a #1 contender match. Eisen says it'll be Bumfhole vs Bumfhole at When Hell Freezes Over for the SWF Shooting Star title in what should be a show stealing match. Jett didn't look too happy. (C)
Marc DuBois is backstage warming up for his upcoming match. He sees the camera rolling and gives us a quick monologue about why he's the new face of professional wrestling and how he's about to run rings, squid rings, around Jumbo Shrimp. (C-) Someone get us a new writer for those one liners... wait, that's my job. Marc DuBois vs Jumbo Shrimp Marc was the first person of the night to live up to the promises he mad before the match as he really did run rings around Jumbo. It was pretty one-sided as Marc had a counter for almost all of Jumbo's basic offense, finishing off by countering an avalanche into the Marc of Excellence. WINNER - Marc DuBois defeated Jumbo Shrimp in 6:55 by pinfall with a Marc Of Excellence (B-) In order to set up another match for the PPV, Marc DuBois issued an open challenge for someone to face him at the PPV, saying that he hoped he'd have a challenge this time. (C+
After a short commerical break we rejoin with Lobster Warrior already in the ring, getting prepared for his match tonight against Eric Esien. Except.... Eric has other plans and decides to send out Enforcer Roberts to do his dirty work once again, saying that he never did like cartoons, even as a kid. I suspect that may be a lie from young Eric, but we'll let him have it just now. (B-) Lobster Warrior vs Enforcer Roberts Poor Lobby. For the second week in a row he's stretched and twisted and tormented by one of the elite technical wrestlers on the planet. not that he didn't have a helluva match here, he gave almost as much as he could take, but when it came down to it, he just didn't have the killer instinct necessary to put Roberts away. For the second week in a row, Lobster Warrior taps out but not without putting up a tremendous fight. WINNER - Enforcer Roberts defeated Lobster Warrior in 14:36 by submission with an R.C.T. (A) Also for the second week in a row, Eric Eisen seemed really proud of himself as he surveyed the damaged caused by his enforcer. Eisen kicks Lobster Warrior in the guts while he's down and tell Lobby that no-one will ever take him seriously before Eric and Roberts head to the back. (B-)
Backstage, the cameras catch up with Angry Gilmore flirting with his wife Jessie. (C+)(we're acknowledging it on screen now) The two seem pretty happy until an irritated Joe Sexy makes his presence felt, saying that its time for the battle royale tonight. With Sexy hyping this up as their chance to get a major title shot, Gilmore is virtually torn away from Jessie's lips by Sexy, leaving none of the group looking too happy. (B) Also hyping the battle royale, the cameras catch a stand off between Steve Frehley and Jack Bruce. Both men are claiming they are the rightful #1 contender and that they'd each win tonight. Frehley make an incisive comment about Jack being in his 30s and never winning the big one yet before walking off, clearly frustrating Jack. (B+)
*MAIN EVENT* 10 Man BATTLE ROYALE for #1 Contendership to the SWF World Championship Featuring: Angry Gilmore, Christian Faith, Jack Bruce, Joe Sexy, Kurt Laramee, Remo, Rich Money, Skull DeBones, Squeeky McClean and Steve Frehley Nine of the best talents the SWF has to offer and Kurt Laramee were thrown into this match with a big prize on offer. Small alliances were formed and tag teams stuck together for a while but everyone knew how high the stakes were in this one. Squeeky was out first (thrown by Laramee) followed rapidly by Laramee himself (tossed by Faith). Angry Gilmore had reason to be angry as he was accidentally eliminated by his tag partner Joe Sexy who should've spent less time apologising and more time paying attention as he was thrown quickly by Remo. With six men left thing started to heat up. Rich and Remo tried to double team Jack as the other three big hitters took turns to beat each other down. Skull was next out as Remo capitalised on the opportunity to eliminate him while Jack and Rich were in a melee... which then cost Rich his spot in the match as Jack caught him coming in for a clothesline by lowbridging him. Just four men left. Remo, Christian Faith, Jack Bruce and Steve Frehley. The crowd were split for who to cheer but their decision was made easier when Remo powered Faith over the top rope with a big press slam that made me very happy. The final three men spent a few minutes going back and forth between each other, with each man being worked over by each pair. In the end, Frehley was being tossed by Jack with help from Remo and all three men spilled over the top as they were all tangled up with each other. WINNER - Remo won a battle royal in 16:24 (A) After almost a minute, a video replay showed that the last man to actually hit the floor was Remo who began to celebrate before we once again heard Richard Eisen's music hit. He started by telling Rich Money (who was still at ringside) that he would defend the SWF North American title at the PPV against... another graduate from the SWF Training School. The crowd loved it. (B+) He then congratulated Remo on the win, but said that it wasn't exactly a decisive victory. So because the match was so close, he wasn't going to give the #1 contendership to Remo... at least not exclusively. Eisen announced that the SWF World Championship match at SWF When Hell Freezes Over will be a four way, one fall match as Runaway Train will defend against Jack Bruce, Steve Frehley and Remo. (B+) It's been a busy night for Richard Eisen as he ran around making lots of PPV matches, but he's made it an exciting one as we put on one helluva show. The announcers closed the show with a quick run-down of the hastily assembled card and put over SWF as the only place to see A level matches!

Frehley has been trying to regain the title he lost to Train in October... Bruce is looking to finally win the big title he's come so close to claiming... and Remo is on the hunt to cement his place as a true star. Runaway Train has proved to be devastating since regaining the title and his manager, The Guru, but with only one fall determining who wins this match, anyone could walk out of When Hell Freezes Over with the gold around their waist!! Rich Money (c) vs A Mystery SWF Training Camp Graduate for the SWF North American Championship Rich Money has held the North American title since September but he's made it known that he truly wants the World title. With a shot at that not presenting itself any time soon, Richard Eisen has given Rich the challenge of a lifetime in facing a mystery opponent to defend his belt. Knowing Money, he'll have someone on the hunt trying to find out who it is, but he'll have a helluva time getting any information out of Richard Eisen before the match. Can Rich overcome the mystery challenger or will a newcomer be taking the SWF by storm and lay claim to the North American title?! Zimmy Bumfhole (c) vs Randy Bumfhole for the SWF Shooting Star Championship It will be brother vs brother in a match that Richard Eisen says will steal the show! Randy never knew he'd be facing his brother for the title if he beat Jacob Jett, but he's now got the chance to equal his brother's success in the SWF since they debuted 1 year ago. Both brothers look set to have glittering careers in the SWF but can Randy level the scores with his brother and take the belt on Zimmy's first defense or will Zimmy hold onto the belt he fought so hard to beat Bart Biggz to get less than one month ago?! Marc DuBois Open Challenge Marc DuBois believes he is the future of wrestling and can beat anyone that steps into the ring with him. And unlike BS Scott, DuBois has been able to back up his words so far, racking up the victories against anyone who has tried to prove themselves so far. With rumblings that some of the bigger names in the SWF haven't taken kindly to DuBois's attitude, could the next person to accept the challenge be too much for the cócky French-Canadian to handle? Lobster Warrior vs Eric Eisen Richard Eisen made this match after Supreme TV went off the air. Apparantly unhappy that Eric Eisen replaced himself with Enforcer Roberts for his match on the last show, Richard has rebooked this match for the PPV. Eric Eisen's ego has been swelling ever since he recruited Enforcer Roberts to do his dirty work for him and he believes he should be getting a title shot. But if he can't get past Lobster Warrior, he won't be going anywhere near the title any time soon. Lobster Warrior has lost a couple of matches in a row lately against some stiff opposition, he'll be hoping to get back to his winning ways sooner rather than later! PLUS: The SWF Tag titles will be on the line! Richard Eisen has announced that the Biggz Boys will be defending their SWF World Tag Team titles on the PPV. Bart was a double champion for a while but it's possible that he's about to lose them both within just one month. Eisen hasn't announced who will be facing the champions but knowing him, he'll not make it simple for whoever gets the shot!

Today's Final Thoughts That was almost undoubtedly one of the best Supreme TV shows I've ever seen, let alone had the pleasure of booking. It mighta been a bit hard to follow at times since there was a lot to pack into the show storyline-wise, but I felt that added to its flavour. The only thing that makes me sad is BS Scott. I knew I made the right move renaming him because during the 30 seconds where he had the camera to himself, the 900,000 viewers we stole from TCW last week switched off again. Which is their loss, but does mean that I'm never EVER going to let Scott start a show again, even if he is only on for a moment or two. The PPV looks like a decent card although there hasn't been much time to put it together. As I've said before, all the major storylines have cooled off over the winter break period and I've had to throw a show together pretty damn quickly. Combine that with the roster improvements (and the hype I can generated with the Class of 2006 thing) I've got to add quickly and I can honestly say I've never seen a card less full of definite matches. Still, at least I've come up with several ways to have mystery opponents, I just hope the PPV buying audience appreciates it. Two days til PPV, don't forget to pony up the cash and buy it. You know you want to. And meanwhile, get your predictions up somewhere on the internet so that you can let a few dozen people know you were right. :) Derek B - Director of Internet Traffic ...

The truth was a very terrible match and neither man did them selves any favours for their long term futures in many people eyes. * After being crushed by SWF in the ratings last week, feelings backstage have reached sky high after it was TCW’s turn to crush SWF. SWF did an average of 9.64 whilst TCW did an average of 27.92 blowing SWF to pieces. People say this has helped TCW no end, especially since Sam has been on edge since last weeks show. But since the ratings were released his spirits have risen considerably. * The match intensity was improved this week and the fans loved it, many feel this may have been why the ratings swung in TCW’s favour as they wanted more intense match ups. Not to mention the fact TCW has the hottest talent in all of wrestling (And Texas Pete) * The Main event let a few people down, including Sam and Tommy C themselves. However the majority of people feel that the match was actually better than should have been expected. * The overall reaction to the show backstage is that it was a huge improvement from last week, TCW ruled the ratings, the fans loved the new intensity shown during the matches and both the Wrestling Machines matches were huge hits showing they have tag and singles potential. The PPV opens up with some fancy graphics and a hype video covering some recent SWF history and the last two TV shows. It explains how tonight's SWF title match between Runaway Train, Jack Bruce, Steve Frehley and Remo came to be before we then cut to our announce team of Peter Michaels, Duane Fry (who informed us tonight would be a barnstormer) and Ana Garcia! (B+) The crowd turned their cheers to boos when Marc DuBois strutted to the ring to re-iterate the open challenge he laid down last week on Supreme TV (C+) But when the flashy lights and mysterious pyro used to cover for Enygma's inadequacies flashed up, we knew we had an answer to Marc's challenge and the crowd popped accordingly. (C) Marc DuBois vs Enygma To DuBois's credit, he didn't back down from Enygma at all despite knowing his reputation in the ring. Both men put on a stellar effort, with Enygma looking better than he had done in a long time, clearly making it his new year's resolution to deserve a place in the main event this year. But that didn't stop him being out athleticismed (I'm creating new words) by DuBois, or outsmarted, as Marc rolled Enygma with the Dubious DuBois pin for the victory. WINNER - Marc DuBois defeated Enygma in 15:47 by pinfall while holding the tights (B) Post match, DuBois makes a hasty exit from the ring and grabs a microphone. He taunts Enygma and puts himself over, saying that he's just beaten one former World champ and that it won't be long before he beats the real one. (B-)
Zimmy Bumfholes (c) vs Randy Bumfhole for the SWF Shooting Star Championship This match saw something we rarely ever see.... champion and challenger coming out to the ring together. Randy and Zimmy Bumfhole made their usual tag team entrance and got into the ring together, but instead of heading to the same corner, they stood opposite each other in the ring. And more importantly than that, they showed each other some respect and shook hands before the match had even started. (D) While the crowd may not have cared much for the entrance, they certainly got into the match as both brothers showed the world what they're capable of... well, perhaps not the world, but certainly the PPV buying audience. A perfect showcase for the Shooting Star division as the brothers pulled out all kinds of offense and showed just how well they really knew each other. The match coulda went either way as they tried hard to put each other way but in the end.... Jacob Jett made his presence felt. Jett took put Randy with a chair shot from behind and caused the referee to call for a DQ. WINNER - Randy Bumfhole defeated Zimmy Bumfhole in 13:31 when Zimmy Bumfhole was disqualified when Jacob Jett ran in and attacked Randy Bumfhole. (B+) (Defense #1) Of course, Jett couldn't leave things there and he quickly set about attacking Zimmy too. With both brothers in a weakened state, Jett made quick work of them, leaving them lying in the middle of the ring while he stood over them, taunting them both and letting them know why he thought he should be the Shooting Star champion and just beat them both. (D-) and (E+)
Backstage, we see Rich Money in a luxury dressing room working on a computer. As we see him, there is a knock on the door and he's told it's time for his match. Rich isn't happy and breaks the laptop, smashing it on the floor while yelling about how unfair it is for him to face a mystery opponent. Guess he couldn't find out who it was then. (B) After Rich makes his entrance to the ring, Richard Eisen comes out to announce Rich's opponent. Rich Money tries to convince Eisen that the match should be made non-title because rookies have yet to prove themselves, but Eisen is having none of it. And says that this isn't just some kid. Its a man on a quest to resurrect his career, a man who should have already achieved great things, a man that Eisen believes could be a huge star one day.. and that day could be today. After stalling for ages, Eisen announces the new SWF Training Camp Graduate from the Class of 2006 to be...... Jack Griffith!! (B+) Rich Money (c) vs Jack Griffith for the SWF North American Championship With the announcement of Jack Griffith, the SWF now has three men called Jack on the roster... that won't get confusing. This Jack sprinted into the ring to face Rich and wasted no time brawling hard with the wily champion. In fact, despite not being hugely known, although still a top indy worker, Jack managed to get the crowd behind him with help from Rich's almost legendary heel antics in the ring. In fact... the crowd loved every moment of this match. With Jack absolutely on fire as a pseudo-underdog face against a man who represents all those corporation type people, the crowd loved every moment of it and it really made the two up their game. Jack looked like he almost had the match won on several occassions only for Rich to escape. With the momentum on Jack's side, Rich managed to pull off a repeat of DuBois's win earlier on, pulling the tights after a low blow-roll up combo. WINNER - Rich Money defeated Jack Griffith in 17:51 by pinfall with a handful of tights. Rich Money makes defence number 1 of his SWF North American title. (A*) (defense #1 of 2007) The crowd really got on Rich's case (in a good way, not a BS Scott way) as Rich grabbed his North American title belt and headed off, leaving Jack to look bitterly disappointed in the ring. (B)
Once again we are joined in the ring by Richard Eisen who proceeds to call out the SWf World Tag Team Champions, The Biggz Boys, so that he can tell them who their opponents will be tonight. When Bart and Brett finally get into the ring, Eisen then declares to the locker-room in general that the challengers for the SWF World Tag Team titles will be....... whatever teams gets into the ring first!(C+) Cameras backstage show that it takes a moment or two for the announcement to sink in but soon enough a number of locker-rooms are emptying. Brawls break out between members of High Concept, The Dirty White Boys, Death Row, The Squid Squad and The Samoan Wildboyz. The fight is soon in the arena as all of the men fight it out. In the ring, Richard Eisen is looking on at the assembled chaos and watches as Shady K and Kid Toma enter the ring. The Biggz Boys attack but lose out to the power and speed of the duo who soon have the champs reeling. But then Grease Hogg and Lead Belly, The Dirty White Boys both get into the ring and join in beating on the Biggz Boys. Eisen then orders Shady K and Kid toma out hte ring, saying that they aren't a team together and so they don't get the match. (C-) The Biggz Boys (c) vs The Dirty White Boys for the SWF World Tag Team Titles The DWBs waste little time trying to capitalise on the job that was started for them, laying a beating on the Biggz Boys while the other teams at ringside dispersed backstage, still almost fighting. The match finally regained some assemblence of order and both teams tried to settle into their rhythm, with the DWBs using a slow pace and relying on power while the Biggz's countered with speed. The momentum went back and forth until the Biggz's Boys finally managed to get some of their signature spots in. But Brett got caught on the top rope by Lead Belly, allowing Grease Hogg to hit the Grease Spot. Bart tried to make the save but spilled outside with Grease, allowing Lead Belly to hit an RPM bomb for the victory. WINNERS - The Dirty White Boys defeated The Biggz Boyz in 14:17 when Lead Belly defeated Brett Biggz by pinfall with a RPM Bomb. The Dirty White Boys win the SWF World Tag Team titles. (B-) The Dirty White Boyz begin their celebrations early by stealing a couple of beers from some ringside fans before heading to the back with their new title belts. I just hope they don't try to drink and ride, I'd hate for the new champs to end up totally wrecked. (C-)
Backstage once again, Jack Bruce and Steve Frehley are both doing some warm-up exercises in the gym in preparation for tonight's main event. They aim a few snide remarks at each other before getting in each other's faces. The argument climaxes with Frehley accusing Jack of always choking in big match situations, prompting Bruce to storm out. Ooooh, tension. (B+)
A mixed reaction of boos and X-pac heat rings out through the arena as Eric Eisen makes his way out, with his enforcer by his side. Eric makes a brief stop at the announce table to try a really bad sleazy line on Ana Garcia before saying that he's nto worried about his match, stating that he "eats lobster for breakfast". Damn. (B-) Eric Eisen vs Lobster Warrior with the crowd firmly behind the comic crustacean, Eric had a lot to contend with. At ringside Enforcer Roberts was an ever present menace as he looked like he might interfere, often distracting Lobster just by being there. Eric used his speed to hit Lobster, often stopping to yell a little abuse at him or get some X-pac heat from the fans.... *sigh* But Lobster battled onwards and things were looking good for him to pick up his first win since... geez, November possibly. Although most of that wasn't my fault. Anyways, one small bit of interference from Roberts helped Eris escape from the Lobster Trap at the perfect moment and that was the only time he interfered. Of course, while the referee was telling him off for interfering, Eric also managed to catch Lobster with a Silver Spoon Shock that certainly shocked our resident hero. The referee turned to see the cover. WINNER - Eric Eisen defeated Lobster Warrior in 15:43 by pinfall with a Silver Spoon Shock. (B+) Lobster Warrior was clearly stunned at the loss and bitterly disappointed too. Eric Eisen took the chance to rub salt into the wounds by taunting him, knowing that Enforcer Roberts had his back if Lobby were to try anything. Damn, Eric gets so many kinds of heat.... (B-)
Oh no, it's a pre-main event montage! First of all we see The Guru psyching up Runaway Trainb for the main event (B) and then we see Remo actually blast a door off its hinges as he powers out of his locker-room. Oooooh... (B+) Runaway Train (c) vs Jack Bruce vs Steve Frehley vs Remo for the SWF World Heavyweight Championship While this match may not go down in the history books as the greatest technical match of all time, it will certainly have it's place in history. It seemed that everyone decided early on to pick on Frehley, weakening his explosive offense but he fought back hard too, catching the big hitters of Train and Remo with some good power offense. The only real science in this match was provided briefly by Jack and Remo who exchanged some nice work in the center of the ring for a while before raw power once again found its way into the offensive advantage when Train blindsided them both. By time this match was hitting the closing stages, everyone had been paired off against everyone else. Frehley and Train were dying to get their hands on each other after their recent Championship feud. Jack Bruce blind tagged in from Frehley, causing some trouble as he went to town on Train himself. The subsequent argument and brawl between the two gave Train enough time to recover and then hit the Train of Pain on Bruce in the corner. Remo stole the tag on Runaway Train as Frehley and Train spilled to the outside. The crowd went nuts as Remo stalked Jack Bruce and then crushed him with a Destroyer! The announce team almost leapt from their seats at the impact (that Jack sold like death) and everyone in the arena counted along with the referee, except probably Frehley and Train who were still embroiled with their brawl on the outside. WINNER - Remo defeated Runaway Train, Jack Bruce and Steve Frehley in 22:15 when Remo defeated Jack Bruce by pinfall with The Destroyer. Remo wins the SWF World Heavyweight title. (B-) As the referee hands the SWF World Heavyweight title to Remo, Frehley looks back fro his fight in disbelief. Even Runaway Train turns his attention away from his long running feud to send a menacing glare back to the ring but The Guru persuades Train to leave the new champion alone. We can audibly hear Frehley say that "Jack choked again" as Remo continues his celebration amid a whol elot of streamers. Bet Train wouldn't have got such a nice celebration if he'd won. (B+)

Today's Final Thoughts Rich Money and Jack Griffith! Holy carp! I never woulda thought that would be the match of the night, at least in terms of quality but it was. Hell, not just a match of the night, but a potential match of the year candidate. A lot of people have said that Rich Money has been the MVP of the SWF for quite some time now and managing to pull out a match of that calibre against a relatively unknown worker... well, its tough to argue with him. Overall, it was an excellent show I feel. The main event let us down a bit but it was still solid enough. Remo will need to solidify himself as champion with a good match sometime soon though. I know he's capable of some excellent matches... and I know that Runaway Train can turn good matches into average ones... but I did expect better from my main event stars. But where do I go next with the SWF? Lets make that a seperate section. :)
Coming Up On SWF Programming? Maybe.... • Rich Money has clearly been after the SWF World Championship for some time and had made his intentions clear that he wants it. But with his tag team partner Remo now holding the gold, will this change his plans? Or will he continue in his quest to get his hands on the biggest championship in the world of wrestling? • Runaway Train and Steve Frehley still seem to have a score to settle as shown by the main event. But both of these men clearly want the SWF title back in their hands too. Will they set personal feelings aside in their quest for gold? Or would they rather destroy each other first to ensure less competition? • Jack Bruce was once again accused of choking in big match situations by Steve Frehley... and Jack Bruce lost the fall in the title match. Frehley and Bruce have a shared ambition in the World title and have worked together in the past but their fragile friendship is weakening by the day. Will this have any effect on the main event scene in the SWF? • The Amazing Bumfholes must be fuming at the outcome of their Shooting Star title match. "The Amazing" Jacob Jett has made his impact felt lately with some incredible matches and his goals are clear. But in his quest for championship gold so early in his career, has Jett bitten off more than he can chew in the form of the former tag team champions? • Jack Griffith made quite the impact as the latest of the Class of 2006 graduates to appear on SWF programming, almost unseating the North American Champion, Rich Money, in his debut match. And what a match it was! Will Jack aim to prove himself against more SWF competition or has he now got his sights locked on the SWF North American title that he came so close to winning? • New SWF Tag Team champions, Lead Belly and Grease Hogg must be celebrating hard tonight. The two bikers who love nothing more than beer and fighting have proven their toughness since debuting little over a year ago, finally getting their hands on championship gold. But with a wealth of teams wanting a shot and a probable rematch against the Biggz Boys in the near future, will the Dirty White Boys have time to recover from their hangover before they lose the titles? • Richard Eisen promised at least one new graduate from the Class of 2006 on every show in January. So far we've seen Jacob Jett wow the fans, Jungle Jack silence BS Scott and Jack Griffith almost claim championship gold. With a class pedigree of this calibre, its hard to imagine that there can be any more stars arriving from the Class of 2006 but at least two more competitors will debut. Stay tuned to find out who will debut, we could be seeing the debut of a future SWF World Champion very soon!! • The Underwater Union has been having a tough time lately as the entire group has been suffering defeat after defeat. Most notably is the group's leader, Lobster Warrior, who hasn't won a single match for over three months. The strain of losing has clearly been starting to get to him and the constant taunts from his opponents can't be helping. But how long can this shocking run of defeats last for the Lobster Warrior? • Eric Eisen has been living the high life lately since acquiring Enforcer Roberts as his personal bodyguard. Eric has been changing matches at a whim thanks to his backstage power and politics, abusing it to suit his own amusement, often forcing people to face Roberts at a moments notice. But Richard Eisen won't stand for this forever as was demonstrated by him forcing Eric into a match at When Hell Freezes Over. Will Eric continue to do what he wants to do indefinitely or will Richard Eisen step in to stop his son's reign of terror over the SWF midcard? • Angry Gilmore and Jessie have been spotted enjoying a lot of time together lately, something we at the SWF are happy to see from the married couple. Too often we have seen the wrestling industry get between couples and its good to see that the two of them aren't feeling any adverse affects. • However while things heat up between Gilmore and Jessie, things seem to have cooled down between Gilmore and his tag team partner Joe Sexy. They have been spotted having small arguments backstage on a regular basis and its no secret that Joe Sexy was frurstrated at not being on the last PPV. Lets hope this situation can be resolved peacefully as it would be a shame to see these two friends grow apart after being so close for the last few years. • Kurt Laramee has been on a quest to prove himself to the SWF audience since he joined from the East coast. While he was successful in his career prior to joining the SWF, he has yet to pick up any big wins since joining the company and there are rumours that he is becoming incresingly frustrated. With a track record like his, this frustration can't be good for anyone on the SWF roster.

Well Derek B, you are a long time storied C-Verse fan as am I and thus why I was attracted to this here diary. I think that it is very well laid out and I am going to put this diary down as one to keep an eye on. I am particularly interested in how USPW will shake out and also I enjoy reading the TCW aspect of this. TC is one of the greats and I enjoy seeing him at the top, all us C-Verse fans know Wolf is gonna have a showdown with TC and its gonna be big. I thought it was cool seeing Liberty vs Bubb as they did have a showdown in my TCW diary too (a critical bout for our story) but here it turned out different. Sweet. I see Remo is at the top of the SWF, hopefully the powers that be will give Skull DeBones his crack at the title!
January Week 3 In front of a sell-out crowd of 5,000 fans in the Missouri State Armoury, the SWF presents.... SWF Supreme TV
The show opened with the usual array of minor explosives that a number of small countries could cause some serious damage with if they got their hands on them. But for a change, the explosions finished with the arrival of the new SWF World Champion, Remo Richardson, wearing the belt around his waist while being accompanied by his associate, the SWF North American champion, Rich Money. A small in ring celebration was held with paper streamers raining down much as they had back at When Hell Freezes Over and Rich Money is handed a mic. He puts himself and Remo, The Almighty Dollar over as being the best thing to have ever happened to the SWF, the ultimate team but is quickly cut off by.... Jack Bruce. Jack says that what happened at When Hell Freezes Over doesn't prove that Remo is the best champion, only that on one night he is capable of pinning Jack Bruce. At this point Steve Frehley also joins in and says Remo took the easy way out by beating someone who hasn't even been a World Champion to get the belt. Words were exchange between Jack and Steve, then between them and the team in the ring. In the end both sides decided that it would be a good move to have a tag match tonight. So they will. (B)
A minute or so later, our first match is almost underway. Marc DuBois once again issues an open challenge to anyone on the SWF roster to face him in a match, saying that he's too good to be beaten by the "old timers" and "has beens" that make up the main event scene. (B-) While it seems he was trying to bait a legend, he in fact got Lobster warrior who came out to accept the challenge, saying that his losing streak would end tonight. (C+) Marc DuBois vs Lobster Warrior With the fans firmly supporting Lobster Warrior to break his streak against the increasingly arrogant (and talented) Marc DuBois, this match once again saw Lobby in trouble. DuBois just hit him from all angles whenever he was on offense as Lobster struggled to get properly into the groove and in the end, DuBois locked in the Model Solution to force Lobster to tap out. WINNER - Marc DuBois defeated Lobster Warrior in 14:50 by submission with a Model Solution. (A) After the match, to rub salt into Lobster Warrior's wounds, Marc DuBois adds his taunting to the pool of voices who have mocked Lobby lately, once again confirming to Lobby that everyone views him as a joke, not a competitor. (B-)
Backstage we join the office of Richard Eisen in the middle of an argument between Joe Sexy and Angry Gilmore. Both men seem to be annoyed at Eisen and each other for not being a part of the last PPV and as a result, nothing is being resolved in the office. Eisen shakes his head... (B+) ... meanwhile, outside Richard's office stands a young man with a bright smile on his face, even though he can hear the sounds coming from Eisen's office. Eric Eisen walks over to him and asks why he's standing there, to which the youngster replies with "I'm Valiant, the next guy from the Class of 2006 to debut. I'm just waiting for Mr Eisen to tell me who I'm supposed to be against." Eric gets a nasty look on his face as he says he knows who it was supposed to be... (C-). Valiant vs ??? For those of you not keeping score, Eric set up Valiant in the ring and announced that his opponent for his SWF debut would be... Enforcer Roberts. Pretty obvious really. Valiant didn't seem phased though and refused to back down during the match as he gave it his all against the rough veteran. In the end though, Valiant simply wasn't good enough to beat Roberts in what turned out to be one helluva match despite the short time it took. Excellent stuff from the newcomer. WINNER - Enforcer Roberts defeated Valiant in 7:51 by submission with a R.C.T.. (A) Even after taking a painful stretching, Valiant wasn't done. As Roberts was trying to leave the ring, Valiant tried to get a handshake from the veteran but Eric Eisen was having none of it, ordering his enforcer to leave and not show any respect. (D+)
Back in Richard Eisen's office, there are more people making demands but at least this time they are on the same page and listening. The Amazing Bumfholes both want Jacob Jett tonight. (D+) Eisen says he can't just book a handicap match, it wouldn't be fair. With perfect timing, Frederique Antonio Garcia struts into the room and without even looking says he wants a match tonight. Richard takes one look at them all and sighs... saying that The Bumfholes can face Jacob Jett and Frederique in the ring right now. (C+) The Amazing Bumfholes vs Jacob Jett and Frederique Antonio Garcia I'm not sure we'll ever be seeing Garcia's initials up in lights (typical Eisen humour, thanks) but the artist formerly known as Flex certainly does have skills. All four men had the chance to showcase them in this match that somewhat suprisingly turned out to be the lowest rated by our fans of the whole night, despite being nothing short of excellent. Randy and Zimmy tried their utmost to get to Jett who tagged out whenever things looked like they might be going against him. A long period of control from Jett and Garcia saw Zimmy take an extended beating. The finish came when Zimmy got a hot tag to Randy with Garcia looking for Jett. Jett took one look and left ringside for the ramp, to hurl insults at the Bumfholes (D+). Frustrated, the Bumfholes each hit their finishing moves on Garcia to pick up the win. WINNERS - The Amazing Bumfholes defeated Frederique Antonio Garcia and Jacob Jett in 14:06 when Zimmy Bumfhole defeated Frederique Antonio Garcia by pinfall with a Bumfhole In One. (B+)
Its almost main event time but that doesn't mean we can't have a quick message from a man who made quite the impact at When Hell Freezes over. Jack Griffith is shown on the big screen cutting a promo, saying he came "this close" to winning his first major title in his first SWF match. He then challenged Rich Money to a rematch for the belt saying that next time, Rich wouldn't be able to use the same trick to steal a win. Oddly, the crowd didn't care. (D) Staying backstage, but to considerably more crowd reaction, we see Jack Bruce and Steve Frehley. Each man in turn claims they are going to win the match tonight and put themselves into contention for the first title match against Remo. A small argument breaks out but ends when Frehley coughs and makes a choking noise, looking Jack in the eye before walking out of shot. (B+) *MAIN EVENT* Steve Frehley and Jack Bruce vs The Almighty Dollar The crowd lapped this one up big time as the face team argued their way through the early going in this match, forcing their will on Rich Money who was brilliant once again. The story was different when Remo was in the ring though, going power vs power with Frehley and tossing Bruce around like a rag doll. At one point it looked like Bruce was about to get hit with a Destroyer, but Frehley tripped him from ringside and pulled him out. Not that Jack appreciated it. The Almighty Dollar, both now reigning as singles champions, worked well as a team as they laid a hurting on Jack Bruce. Frehley couldn't help looking frustrated with his tag partner, rolling his eyes back everytime Jack done something he considered a little foolish. The traditional hot tag saw Frehley explode at both champions and almost pick up a win before Remo almsot snapped him in half with a Destroyer our of nowhere. All looked lost, especially when you could sense the crowd expecting a Runaway Train run-in, but Bruce managed to cause a miscommunication between Remo and Rich that resulted in Remo being outside the ring with Frehley. The crowd popped as Rich ended up in perfect position for the New York minute... and then stay down for the count of three too. WINNER - Jack Bruce and Steve Frehley defeated The Almighty Dollar in 21:54 when Jack Bruce defeated Rich Money by pinfall with a New York Minute. (A*) Perhaps not unexpectedly, Jack celebrated the win with Frehley joining him shortly afterwards. But Remo motioned to Jack that "you didn't beat me" and made the same choking gesture that Frehley had recently used. (B+)

Today's Final Thoughts Another A* match from involving Rich Money, our North American champion is making an early bid for wrestler of the year less than one month into the year. Lets see you try to match that, "competition"! :p It seems we've been garnering more interest from the internet too, even some praise on occasion, which is a rare thing from the smark community. Even the guys that write TCW fan fiction seem to like us, which is stunning. But then, we are now kicking SWF ass in the ratings. As long as I don't stick BS Scott in the opening segment, I foresee the the Tuesday Night Wars becoming a Tuesday Night Massacre.... hmm. Note to self: That might be a good TV show name. But what to do next week? Griffith has a challenge to be answered... I should probably stick a title match on the card somewhere, I like titles to mean something though its hard to tell sometimes. And maybe some Runaway Train action. Or..... well, you can just wait and see. SWF has lots of plans to put into action. LOTS! He takes a microphone and starts talking to the crowd, before eventually getting interrupted by Ricky Dale Johnson. They have a big argument, going back and forth on the microphone, before things take a violent turn and they start brawling. A whole host of staff hit the ring to break them up. Authority figure Sam comes out fuming to the top of the ramp and asks if they are trying to ruin his show. He is fed up of their constant bickering and so a Best of 7 series is going be booked to stop it once and for all. The first person to win 4 matches gets the TCW belt, and the first match of the series is…………the main event tonight. Rating B+ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Match 1 - Joey Poison vs. Steve Flash Two new wrestlers in TCW start off the first match of the show, by all accounts it could have been better but not a bad start to their TCW careers. Flash may be over 40 but he didn’t let that shine through and it has hard to tell there was such a significant age gap. Poison got the win when he hit a Swanton Bomb for the victory. Joey Poison defeated Steve Flash in 7:18 when Joey Poison pinned Steve Flash. Rating C+ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Segment 2 – BLZ Bubb is shown backstage and is still furious at what happened on the first show of the month. He threatens anyone who steps in sight and demands to know who it was that attacked him in the dark. He finds no answers and starts smashing up the first things he finds. The last act of violence caught on camera is him putting his own head through a window before walking off looking just as mad as ever. Rating B ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Match 2 – Joel Bryant vs. Giant Tana This match exceeded all expectations and was a hell of a lot better than many backstage thought it would be. The credit has been given to Joel Bryant for making this such a superb match but a select few believe Tana will soon be able to have good matches on a consistent basis. Both men gave it their all and drew the fans into the match, it ended after 11 minutes when Tana hit the Big Fat Samoan Squash. Giant Tana defeated Joel Bryant in 11:18 by pinfall with a Big Fat Samoan Squash. Rating B ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Segment 3 - Amidst a chaotic in-ring scene, Liberty and Troy Tornado finally come face to face on opposite sides of the ring. Both men are talking trash to the other trying to draw them into making a charge, therefore their opponent the upper hand. Just as it seems both men may come to blows, Troy laughs as the ring gets flooded by numerous other wrestlers. As they restrain both men Tornado spits in the eye of Liberty who try’s to break free but the sheer numbers prevent him. Rating B+ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Match 3 – Wrestling Machine #2 vs. Rick Law Wrestling Machine #2 was in singles action once again this time against the promising youngster Rick Law. Both men impressed people backstage and the crowd in attendance was certainly captivated in the match up. Machine #2 has certainly showed he can hold it in the singles division but perhaps he should stick to the tag division after a loss to Law. Law is being hailed as the future and a win tonight will do him no harm. Rick Law defeated Wrestling Machine #2 in 9:48 when Rick Law hit Long Arm Of The Law. Rating B- ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Segment 4 - Sam Shipp calls Troy Tornado and Liberty into his office and tells him due to their recent actions, They will be in a match against BLZ Bubb and Rocky Golden as punishment. Rating C+ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Match 4 – Wolf Hawkins vs. Texas Pete The Future of Wrestling, Wolf Hawkins faced off against a grizzled old veteran in Texas Pete with both men wanting to put on a good showing to help their careers. Wolf and Texas went at it, each wanting to prove a point. Texas came close when Wolf slipped on the top rope and landed directly on his head but Wold showed heart and kicked out. Later in the match Pete set up for the Lone Star Drop but Wolf took advantage of his slowness and hit a Full Moon Rising for the victory. Wolf Hawkins defeated Texas Pete in 11:06 when Wolf Hawkins connected with a Full Moon Rising. Rating B ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Segment 6 - Wolf Hawkins remains in the ring and says he is unhappy with the fact his amtch with Rocky last week ended in a draw. He states that the title belongs around his waist and he wants a rematch this time at the PPV. He says if Rocky is a true fighting champ he will meet him in the ring and accept his defeat like a man. Once he has lost maybe he can head to that inferior promotion up north. Rating B+ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Match 5 - BLZ Bubb & Rocky Golden vs. Troy Tornado & Liberty A Tag Team match of the titans, Four of the biggest stars in TCW fighting off in the same ring. With the tension between Liberty and Troy Tornado as well surely this should be a classic. Unfortunately not, this match went down as well as a fireworks show in a hay stack. Troy and Liberty found it very difficult to team with each other and at numerous times they both nearly cost the other the match. However they managed to put their differences a side when Liberty took out Rocky G to the outside, with the ref distracted Troy used a steel chain to knock out BLZ. This of course lead to the victory against a stnned and once again angry BLZ. Liberty and Troy Tornado defeated BLZ Bubb and Rocky Golden in 13:35 when Troy Tornado retrieved the item. Rating C+ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Segment 7 - Liberty climbs back into the ring to celebrate the victory with Troy but then notices the steel chain and the blood flowing from the head of BLZ. He begins to question Troy on how he won the match and Troy gets right back in his face. Both men are close to coming to blows when Liberty bends down to pick up the chain. Troy attacks him from behind beating him into the mat, only for Liberty to strike back using the very same steel chain. Troy is sent tumbling through the ropes and rushes backstage. Rating B+ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Segment 8 - Tommy Cornell cuts a promo hyping up his upcoming match with Ricky Dale Johnson. He hypes the fact that this is the first in a best of seven series tonight. The person who wins tonight will have a huge advantage heading into the next six matches. Tommy C says he vows to be the person to win the first match after all he beat RDJ in the first match of the year. Tonight the war begins and first blood will be Tommy’s. Rating B+ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Match 6 -Tommy Cornell vs. Ricky Dale Johnson This is the first of the Best of 7 series for the TCW World Title held by Tommy Cornell. Tommy C attacked Ricky before the match begun smashing his head into the steel steps before the ref order them inside the ring. Finally things got started and both men wowed the crowd in this very good match up. The crowd really got into the match up as both men battled it out for supremacy, wanting to go 1-0 up. Tommy came closest first when he hit 3 german suplexes followed by a delayed piledriver for the 2 count. RDJ fought back and hit Southern justice only for Tommy to get his feet upon the ropes, RDJ didn’t let that get him down and 4 minutes later he hit Southern Justice again this time for the victory. Ricky Dale Johnson defeated Tommy Cornell in 15:37 by pinfall with a Southern Justice. Rating B ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Segment 9 - Having picked up the victory, Ricky Dale Johnson goes out into the crowd to celebrate with his people. RDJ is now 1-0 up and Tommy C lays motionless as the camera fades out. Rating B -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Overall Show – B ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- "Backstage Reaction" * The worst news coming out of the show as the stiffness developing between Liberty and Troy Tornado. Many people feel there is now some legitimate heat between the two and both men are going hard on the other when given the opportunity. The worst news is that Troy Tornado has suffered a legitimate broken jaw after that chain shot from Liberty but being the brave S.O.B that he is he has vowed to work through it. Everybody wishes Troy a speedy recovery. * On the ratings side of things, it was not so good this week for TCW as they were crushed by SWF in the ratings once again. After the huge ratings score for TCW last week many felt this could turn the company around but it only lasted a week before SWF regained control. * The Wolf vs Rocky G match up has received some stellar build up but despite this many people feel that this could very well be the worst match on the card. Wold will be looked upon to carry this match to make it look half presentable. * The Main event between Tommy C and Ricky Dale Johnson in the first of their best of 7 series was even better than there previous one on one match. Sam was said to have been very happy with this fearing that this could have gone belly up but both men shone through. * The overall reaction to the show backstage is that it was a huge improvement YET AGAIN from last week, although TCW was crushed in the ratings, Sam was said to have been happy since this is their best show to date although it needs a lot of work to compete with the competition. I am outraged at the JOBBING of Big Smack Scott that is going on here. The only reason his matches are rated low is because you haven't let him unveil the Big Smack Shuffle. The Big Smack Shuffle= Ratings! What the hell is wrong with you people!? From the pages of www.WrestlingBS.com Breaking News
An interesting development today in the world of wrestling, it occurred when TCW signed Ralphael from USPW on a development deal. however this is not the news we are bringing to you. Howeevr the news does revole around these two promotions. The news is that moments after this signing took place TCW’s head booker Sam left a message with the head booker of USPW. In this message he requested that the two promotions sign a working agreement as a way to work together to help and dwindle the ever growing popularity of the dominate SWF. Still bitter from the signing of one of his hottest talents Andrew immediately sent a message back refusing the agreement. Sam was said to have been both stung and angered by this rejection. There is now talk amongst the IWC that TCW may begin raiding USPW of their talent just to ensure they end up with out any hint of success. Of course the whole story is not 100 percent confirmed although both bookers have confirmed a working agreement was offered and denied. Whether or not Sam is bitter enough to steal away their roster to halt and drive for success remains to be seen. When asked to comment Sam had this to say “As I have told previous enquirers there was indeed a Working agreement turned down by USPW. In response to these rumours that I would steal their roster and attempt to drive them out of business. Well I can only say my main goal at this moment in time is to ensure SWF’s dominance is brought to a grinding halt. The future of USPW is not mine to make although I have indeed expressed a…..interest in a few members of their roster.” USPW’s Andrew Edwards was unavailable for comment but we will keep you posted as this little promotion spite could bolt head first into a full scale promotional war. Keep checking these pages to find out more news as it arrives.
Traditional pyro... blah.... a video of last week's main event is played showing Rich Money being pinned by Jack Bruce before Rich Money and Remo make their way out to address the fans. After a brief message Rich saying that he was only beaten because of an unfortunate miscommunication (B+) he is cut off by Steve Frehley who starts to lay out a challenge to Remo... but he doesn't get to finish that as Runaway Train attacks, being bossed around by The Guru. (A) Richard Esien steps in and looks annoyed by the chaos around him and says that last week, people failed to respect him the way they should. He then announces a whole string of matches, stating that in tonight's main event we would see Rich Money defend the North American title against Jack.... Griffith, the man who came to close to unseating him for it at the last PPV (C+) He also said that next week we would see Steve Frehley against Runaway Train in a war to settle the score (B+) and that right now, in the middle of that very ring, Lobster Warrior will get the chance to break his losing streak against... Squeeky McClean. Nobody around the ring looked particularly happy. (B-) Lobster Warrior vs Squeeky McClean Squeeky has a new manager by the looks of things as a man walked to the ring with him, telling him he was in great shape and was going to easily beat Lobster. The announcers named him as Squeeky's new personal trainer, Dermot O'Logical. Anyways, the match itself was another excellent Lobster Warrior performance as he tried to do everything he could to pull out the win while Dermot cheered for his trainee. In a rare twist, the ringside manager didn't interfere in the match at all and Squeeky locked in the Clean Out, a submission move he doesn't often use and wins with even less often... but I guess the negativity aimed at Lobster has worn him down, he tapped pretty quickly. WINNER - Squeeky McClean defeated Lobster Warrior in 12:48 by submission with a Clean Out. (B+) Squeeky celebrates with his new manager, who immediately wipes Squeeky down and starts what appears to be an exfoliation treatment on him. Lobster Warrior walks slowly to the back looking dejected (C-) but when Lobster gets to the back he bumps into Sam Keith who won't let him past. Keith tells Lobster "you're pathetic" which gets an almost immediate fired up response from Lobby, who challenges Sam to a match next week. Sam accepts it with a derisive laugh, saying that a joke like Lobster Warrior doesn't stand a chance. (B-)
We cut to Richard Eisen's office and a shot of a very pretty young lady who is later identified as Persephone. Eisen says that he's looking forward to seeing what the final graduate of the SWF Class of 2006 can do when the camera cuts across to Steven Parker. Eisen says that his opponent for the night will be Randy Bumfhole and that he should be on his way to the ring now. Parker and Persephone enjoy a quiet moment together in the devastating lip-lock before they head to the ring. (D+) "The Future" Steven Parker vs Randy Bumfhole Judging by this match, Parker has a bright future in the Shooting STar division and beyond. These two youngsters, neither of which are more than 23 years old, put on an excellent display of wrestling with a little time to showcase a variety of styles. Sadly for the crowd, the match was cut short when Jacob Jett made his presence felt by attacking Randy Bumfhole with a shot to the ankle with a chair. WINNER - Randy Bumfhole defeated Steven Parker in 11:40 when Steven Parker was disqualified when Jacob Jett ran in and attacked Randy Bumfhole. (B) Jett looked to continue the assault and managed to hit a couple of chair shots to Randy before his brother Zimmy Bumfhole ran to the ring to make the save from Jett. Steven Parker and Persephone stood by during the attacks and didn't involve themselves, but Parker didn't look happy that he had just lost his debut match like that. (D+)[/b
Backstage we see Jessie receiving a large bunch of flowers. The announcers explain that Joe Sexy and Angry Gilmore aren't at the show tonight as they try to sort things out between themselves and this fact is highlighted by the card that comes with the flowers. "Sorry I can't be there with you tonight" (C+)
Also backstage (its been a busy night back there) we see the SWF World Tag Team champions, the Dirty White Boys, walking down a hallway when they bump into The Biggz Boys. The tensions are obvious but it doesn't seem that anything is going to happen. But the moment the Biggz Boys turn their backs, the DWBs turn and attack, with the DWBs assuming that the former champs would do exactly the same thing as they themselves would do. The two teams brawl for a while and the fight eventually ends up in the ring, with a match being declared to be under hardcore rules. (C-) The Dirty White Boys (c) vs The Biggz BoysHardcore rules for the SWF World Tag Team titles While the official time for this match from bell to bell was only 8:43, the fight had been going on for several minutes longer. Hardcore rules obviously seemed to favour the beer swilling bikers more than the flashy aerial based Biggz Boys. Ladders were brought into play though to even the score and for a while things could have went either way. But in the end, a missed splash from the top drove the wind out of Bart and it didn't take long for the recently crowned champions to capitalise on the advantage. WINNERS - The Dirty White Boys defeated The Biggz Boyz in 8:43 when Lead Belly defeated Bart Biggz by pinfall with a RPM Bomb. The Dirty White Boys make defence number 1 of their SWF World Tag Team titles. (C+)
After the commericial break, Marc DuBois was in the ring and issuing an open challenge for anyone to face him.... again. At least he can make it sound good, even if it is getting a little repetitive already. (B) This time was different though as both members of High Concept answered the challenge. DuBois said he was only going to face one of them tonight so a quick game of paper/scissors/rock was played with Groucho Bling using rock to blunt Elmo Benson's scissors. (B-) Marc DuBois vs Groucho Bling I've gotten to the point already where I'm starting to believe DuBois' hype, he really can't have a bad match.... although I'm still not willing to put him in the ring with BS Scott to test that theory. DuBois pulled out more innovative spots as Groucho managed to keep pace with him remarkably well. Bling even had things going his way for a while before DuBois managed to pull out a really tight cradle pin, with a fistful of tights, to steal the win. WINNER - Marc DuBois defeated Groucho Bling in 12:28 by pinfall with the Dubious DuBois pin. (A) After the match, DuBois puts himself over again and tries to hide any signs that he had just made an effort in the match. He once again lays out the open challenge, pointing at Elmo Benson and saying that he could be next. (B+)
*MAIN EVENT* Rich Money (c) vs Jack Griffith for the SWF North American Championship Before the match had even started Rich was complaining about having to face a nobody that he'd already beaten once. But when he mentioned the name Jack, people started chanting for Jack Bruce and Rich seemed to decide that he'd gotten off lightly only facing Jack Griffith. (B+) Once again this was an excellent match that had the crowd on their feet just like it had when these two met at When Hell Freezes Over. The match looked to be over when Rich tried the same tights pulling he had won with at the PPV but Griffith kicked out to the frustration of Rich. Jack then countered with some explosive offense that had Rich reeling and in the corner. Jack went for a spear but felt nothing but ringpost and Rich quickly rolled him up with his feet on the ropes to steal teh victory once again. WINNER - Rich Money defeated Jack Griffith in 16:34 by pinfall with his feet on the ropes. Rich Money makes defence number 2 of his SWF North American title. (A) Rich doesn't spend much time in the ring, instead grabbing his North American title belt and getting the heck out of there. Once again the fans were jeering Rich and once again Jack had been robbed... but Griffith was still yelling at Rich about how he'd get that belt yet, there are only so many tricks Rich can pull before Jack knows what to expect. (B) =================================================== Quick Results From SWF Supreme TV • Squeeky McClean defeated Lobster Warrior in 12:48 by submission with a Clean Out. Today's Final Thoughts The SWF is riding a wave of momentum just now as each show seems to be getting better than the last, at least in terms of the creative side of things. Despite not having BS Scott on the show this week the viewing figures dropped once again as the SWF/"out west" balance of power shifted back towards them... which hurts because we had the better show. You know its true. Having said that, we didn't let people know what they were going to see in advance so it might be our fault for that. Next week has a blockbuster of a card that will see the viewers come back once again. Forget TC vs RDJ, we've got Lobster Warrior vs Sam Keith! And Marc DuBois! And that Frehley chap against that Train dude! So... yeah. Tune in again next week and lets hope the internet is going to start making a buzz for who should be winning matches. Or even who's going to be on the next PPV. Or y'know... something. Derek B - Man In Charge of Elbow Grease
Held in front of 8,075 at V.Thompson arena TCW presents Total Wrestling Segment 1 – Wolf Hawkins offers to pay BLZ Bubb if BLZ Bubb does something Wolf Hawkins wants. BLZ does not look the slight bit interested so Wolf puts his money away and turns to leave. The camera catches him grinning fiendishly as he turns back towards BLZ. Wolf informs Bubb that Rocky G was the one who took him out on the first show of the year when the lights went out. Having heard this BLZ goes into a fit of rage and Wolf smiles knowing his plan is turning into affect. Rating B+ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Segment 1 – The Cameras head backstage where we see Tommy Cornell arrive at the building in a limo. He pushes the camera man aside and grabs the camera for himself. He says he may be facing Rick Law tonight but once Law has been destroyed he heads into Malice In Wonderland against RDJ. He may be 1-0 down but at the PPV Tommy guarantees he will beat Ricky. He says RDJ better watch himself because anything can happen, by anyone. Match 1 – Liberty vs. Rocky Golden Both men would be looking to get a win here heading into the Malice In Wonderland PPV. Liberty and Rocky exchanged blows as the match got underway before Liberty connected with a big boot. Golden was able to come back strong and was close to winning following a Tornado DDT but Liberty kicked out in time. Liberty shone throughout the match but it was a less than impressive match up. The highlight was Golden missing a clothesline to the outside and landing ribs first on the guarding rail. Further on down the road Golden avoided a leg drop and hit a basement dropkick but failed to get the three once more. Suddenly Wolf appeared on the apron distracting everyone when from behind Rocky was DESTROYED with a lariat to the back of the head from BLZ. Liberty hooked the leg for the victory but didn’t look too thrilled at what took place. Liberty defeated Rocky Golden in 10:50 when Liberty took advantage of BLZ’s interference. Rating C+ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Segment 2 – Rocky Golden is left in the ring a mess since being destroyed by BLZ Bubb, Wolf walks out grinning from ear to ear. He informs Rocky that BLZ “found out” about Rocky attacking him and was just getting his revenge. He says if BLZ happens to weaken Rocky for their PPV match this Sunday that’s just a happy coincidence. He climbs into the ring and growls at Rocky to just give up and hand him the title whilst he can still walk. Although bloody and beaten Rocky shakes his head and slaps Wolf across his face. Wolf laughs at his defiance before proceeding to stomp the crap out of Rocky before leaving him motionless and bloody in the ring. Rating B ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Segment 2 – Ricky Dale Johnson is out in the ring, he soon starts to go on about how Cornell keeps giving him threats but he never backs up. If Tommy Cornell wants to live up to his threats something should happen right now. He laughs as nothing happens and says his point is proven and he proceeds to leave via the ramp. Suddenly from out of the crowd Tommy Cornell attacks. He slams Ricky Dale Johnson into the ring post, he then follows it up with a brutal DDT!! Blood immediately erupts from the head of RDJ, prompting the announcers to begin calling for help. Of course the two youngsters went into this match as the underdogs but that didn’t hinder them at all. All 4 men gave there all out there and the crowd loved them for it. The Machines took control after 3 minutes but the L.O.T.F fought back and Perez came close to winning only for Machine #1 to place Machine #2’s foot on the ropes. Later Andrews was caught off guard by Machine #1 taking his knee out with a dropkick whilst he stood on the apron. Perez went to check on his partner and was the victim of Certain Death by Machine #2. The Machines defeated Legends Of The Future in 7:53 when Wrestling Machine #2 defeated Frankie Perez following Certain Death. Liberty charges but Troy bails out of the ring holding his jaw which is still broken. He is wearing some protection but will still be in action. Liberty grabs a mike and says he is glad he broke Tory’s jaw. However the playing field has been evened for the next match as Tommy C just brutalised Troy’s opponent so both men are suffering injuries. Liberty says both men will not only be fighting to win their match but also to be fit to compete at the PPV. Liberty says he hopes RDJ doesn’t break Troy’s legs because that’s the only way Troy is going to avoid defeat this Sunday. Match 3 – Troy Tornado vs. Ricky Dale Johnson Both men were injured going into this match up, Troy had suffered a broken jaw the week before whilst RDJ had been brutally attacked earlier in the evening by Tommy Cornell. RDJ looked to expose the weaken jaw early on but whenever a move looked set for Troy’s jaw he bailed and with good reason. Finally things got flowing with both men trying to expose the weakened areas. RDJ came closest when he hit a seated jaw breaker that left Troy howling in agony. He followed up with a camel clutch but brave Troy managed to hold on till he broke free. Troy fought back trying to open the stitched up wound made my Cornell earlier in the evening. Troy hit a super kick that removed a few stitches causing a bit of blood but wasn’t enough to stop Ricky. The fight spilled to the outside till Troy grabbed a chair but it was a swing and a miss. RDJ grabbed his own to protect himself and both swung and connected. RDJ connected to the skull of Troy, Troy to the side of the face of RDJ. The result was both grabbing their heads in agony and a double DQ. Rick Ricky Dale Johnson drew with Troy Tornado in 17:35 following a double disqualification. It does not appear to have been a fresh attack, it looks like the two previous beatings at the hand of BLZ and Wolf had left him weak and finally he has collapsed. He is barely conscious but he is unable to move as a huge pool of blood spills from him as he is packed into an ambulance. Match 4 – Wolf Hawkins vs. Giant Tana Not considered a classic match up both these men went out there with one goal in mind, tear the place down. Wolf and Tana did themselves no harm as they put on an awesome performance in front of 8,075 people. Wolf with his previous matches was considered the clear favourite but that was soon out to rest after the impressive showing by Giant Tana. The most impressive spot was when Tana went for a superplex only for Wolf to break free in mid air and turning himself and Tana executing a twisting face crusher off the top rope. Wolf was however in to much pain to make a quick cover and Tana recovered enough to kick out. Tana somehow got back in the match up and hit numerous power moves to wear Wolf down but once he missed his Big Fat Samoan Splash things looked better for Wolf. He capitalised and hit the Full Moon Rising for the impressive victory. Wolf Hawkins defeated Giant Tana in 15:12 with a Full Moon Rising Rating B+ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Segment 6 - Troy Tornado is in the ring, along with Wolf Hawkins and Tommy Cornell. The ring has been set up to resemble a funeral home, with a casket with a picture of Liberty on it on the center. Troy Tornado proceeds to give a eulogy, declaring that the career of Liberty will be well and truly put to rest after he loses at Malice in Wonderland and is forced to retire from in ring action. Match 5 – Rick Law Vs. Tommy Cornell This was the main event and it pitted the Legendary Tommy Cornell against the future Rick Law and was sure to be a classic. It did not disappoint filled with jaw dropping action right from the very start. Cornell and Law traded control continuously for the first 7 minutes until Cornell’s experience allowed him to reverse a spine buster with a unseen poke to the eyes. This allowed Tommy to take control of the match wearing Law down with a variety of moves that left poor old Rick wishing he had stayed at home. Law managed to find a way back when he landed on his feet following a German suplex and hit a sit down neck breaker on Cornell. Law remained in control by keeping Tommy grounded. Of course TC is the master of the ring and was able to fight back despite this and escaped a Boston crab by pushing Law through the ropes to the outside. Tommy C caught Law off guard by hitting a dropkick off the top rope to the outside causing Law to crash neck first into the guard rail. Tommy C then dragged an obviously injured Rick Law into the ring to lock him in the Guilt Trip. Law however managed to slip out before it was locked in and connected with a jumping heel kick knocking Tommy down. He went for the cover but Cornell kicked out, so he lifted him up for a Power bomb but Cornell reversed into a seated face plant. With Law in a world of hurting he locked in the Guilt Trip and Law having lasted over twenty minutes with the legend finally gave in and tapped. Tommy Cornell defeated Rick Law in 20:52 by submission with a Guilt Trip. Rating A ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Segment 7 - Tommy Cornell is celebrating his victory in the ring. Ricky Dale Johnson runs in and attacks, beating Tommy Cornell down into the mat. He has been stitched up to cover up the huge gash in his forehead and seems enraged but groggy as Tommy C rolls out to safety and heads to the back. RDJ bad mouths him at the camera zooms in on the disgustingly deep gash whilst the show goes off the air. Rating B+
Overall Show –B ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- "Backstage Reaction" * Rick Law vs. Tommy Cornell was a match that went above and beyond everyone’s expectations and was a classic match up. Both men went out and gave it their all willing to put their bodies on the line to impress the viewers. Sam is said to have been thrilled by the match and the reaction and Law is definitely in the good books with all members of the creative team. Cornell was said to have been hurting after the match but nothing to bad He was said to have impressed with how brilliant Law performed. * On the ratings side of things, things shot up once again for TCW they once again smashed SWF in the ratings this time with a 28.63. Things are once again looking bright with all matches (Except Liberty vs. Rocky) being impressive and drawing in the fans. * Giant Tana once again was involved in a stellar match and people backstage as well as in the seats are sitting up and taking notice. Wolf and Tana impressed many and Tana will be placed in many more matches to see if this form can be kept up or if his opponents are carrying him. Wolf on the other hand heads into the Malice In Wonderland (only four days away) with gallons of momentum and has to be considered the favourite for his title match against Rocky Golden. * The Main event for the PPV will be the second of the best of 7 between Tommy C and Ricky Dale Johnson. Following the build up between the two almost everyone backstage believes that this will be the star match of the PPV. However it is unanimous that it will definitely be the match that draws the buy rates. * The overall reaction to the show backstage is that it was a classic show especially the main event between Tommy C vs. Rick Law, but also the Machines vs. The Legends Of The Future performed well above expectations. Most people were delighted and believe it is a very good show heading into the PPV and it should garner interest.
