Christian Cage vs. Rhino (NWA Title) I prefer Rhino, but I think with TNA trying to pick up new fans and gain mainstream audiences Christian Cage is a champion that needs to be kept. Has the look of a champion and the skills to boot. Chris Sabin vs. Jay Lethal (X Title) I prefer Sabin LAX vs. VKM (Tag Titles) Go with the future, my friend! VKM are yesterdays news, LAX are fantastic. Scott Steiner vs. Samoa Joe (#1 Contender's Match) Hate Steiner, love Joe. A.J. Styles vs. Kurt Angle The way the shows been building up seems like Angle will get the win Sting vs. Abyss Sting needs to let other guys go over him, and Abyss is one of the better monsters around at the moment The Naturals vs. Team 3D (#1 Contender's Match) I don't want them too, but I think a Team 3D feud with LAX makes more sense. I would prefer the Naturals though Christopher Daniels vs. Senshi No real reason Pre-Show: Robert Roode vs. Eric Young I like Roode, I think he could be a really big deal if used properly

News
Newswire for 2/12/07: The rating is in for TNA Impact on SpikeTV, and the result is a 9.97, which is up almost an entire point from last week's show, which should help TNA resign with SpikeTV in the upcoming week. ECW has gotten a new influx of talent once again, as this time Raw stars Shelton Benjamin and Eugene have been switched over to the brand. Many feel that Benjamin can shine on the ECW roster, and finally reach the level many thought he was capable of for years. Be sure to check back here tomorrow for any late breaking news on TNA's Against All Odds pay-per-view, and to find out if they broke any ground on resigning their contract with SpikeTV.
News
Newswire for 2/13/07 The rating is in for WWE Friday Night Smackdown, which was a 18.26, and that is up slightly from last week. This keeps WWE's impresive ratings streak going, and all three of their networks are thrilled with the high ratings that the shows are bringing in. Earlier this week it was announced that Bob Sapp had signed with All Japan Pro Wrestling. In his first match, Sapp won the Triple Crown Heavyweight Championship, in what has to be considered one of the most sucessful debuts in wrestling history.
Christian Cage vs. Rhino (NWA Title) Christian Cage is exactly the man to main event regularly for TNA, alongside Angle. Chris Sabin vs. Jay Lethal (X Title) Sabin has more going for him long term and currently than Lethal. LAX vs. VKM (Tag Titles) LAX has a load of potential, if you ask me. Scott Steiner vs. Samoa Joe (#1 Contender's Match) Samoa Joe has to go over here. Steiner has to put over these stars for him to be effective. A.J. Styles vs. Kurt Angle I'm going Kurt Angle. To me he should be the cornerstone of TNA. Sting vs. Abyss Abyss to go over Sting. It's time for Abyss to make a really dominant move. The Naturals vs. Team 3D (#1 Contender's Match) Again, Team 3D should put over the Naturals. They just need a good, long push and they could be the cornerstone of the tag division alongside LAX and AMW. Christopher Daniels vs.Senshi Senshi has got a great push in TNA, I really like what I see. Daniels is great, I don't think putting Senshi over will hurt his long term prospects. Pre-Show: Robert Roode vs. Eric Young Robert Roode is arrogant. I like that. :D

News
Newswire for 2/14/07: Breaking news out of TNA! On the eve of their first pay-per-view under a new booker, they have announced that they have struck a deal with SpikeTV to keep their current time slot for 4 seasons, which gives TNA the security of staying in the national spotlight that they were looking for. They have not given up on a two hour show, and next time rescheduling comes around, TNA plans to pitch the two hour idea to SpikeTV once again. But this is good news for TNA, and later tonight, they try to build on this by putting on a good pay-per-view.
Eric Young took this very hard, and he seemed angry throughout the rest of the match, and took shots at Roode whenever he had a chance. The crowd is shown, and the majority of signs that they have are for The Olympic Gold Medallist Kurt Angle, and say bad things about NWA World Champion Christian Cage. The camera then pans down to Mike Tenay and Don West, who address the home fans, catching them up to speed as to what is going to be going down at the pay-per-view tonight. Mike Tenay We would like to welcome you great TNA fans to Against All Odds, coming to you live from Universal Studios Orlando, and from inside the Impact Zone! We are bringing you a great pay-per-view tonight, and all three championships are on the line. LAX will be facing off with the Voodoo Kin Mafia for the NWA World Tag Team Titles, Chris Sabin will attempt to defend his X Division Title against Jay Lethal, and in the main event, Champion Christian Cage will face Rhino for the NWA World Heavyweight Championship. We will also see two number one contender matches, one for the tag titles, and one for the world title. We will see AJ Styles face off with Kurt Angle, and Abyss and Sting will face off. Don West That’s right Mike, this is shaping up to be a very memorable pay-per-view, as more than one matchup on this card has the chance to be a match of the year candidate, and you have to look at the A.J. Styles and Kurt Angle matchup as one that sticks out on the card more than any other, because it is what many TNA fans see as a dream matchup. But we are going to start things off with what could be a very memorable matchup, as we will see Christopher Daniels in his first one-on-one action since returning to TNA, and his first since he debuted his new attitude this week on Impact, as he attacked his opponent for tonight, Senshi, out of nowhere. So let’s get this great pay-per-view kicked off! Grade: C This was a great matchup, just like Don West predicted before the match. Senshi used his educated feet to his advantage, as he kicked Daniels all around the ring, but when Senshi would get a surge of adrenaline, Daniels would shut it down by using his specialty, his technical prowess. Senshi was gaining the upper hand, and took Daniels down with a vicious martial arts kick to the face, then went up top for the Warrior’s Way, and when he jumped, Daniels moved out of the way, then stalked Senshi, before hitting him with the Angel’s Wings for the impressive victory. Winner: Christopher Daniels Time: 15:59 Match Grade: B+ After the match, Senshi exits the ring and heads to the back, but Christopher Daniels stays in the ring and demands that a microphone be handed to him, because he has something important to say to the TNA crowd. Christopher Daniels You all just saw why I am the greatest wrestler to ever grace the TNA ring. While I was gone, this place barely got by. Now that I’m back, this place will blossom, because people will be tuning in to see me wrestle. But let me tell you something, for me to take this promotions to new heights I can’t do so in the X Division, because let’s face it, the X Division is full of loser nowadays. So I’d like to officially announce that I am done with the X Division as of this moment, and I am onto bigger and better things, namely, the NWA World Heavyweight Championship. And when I capture that prestigious title for the first time, TNA will rise to new levels that it has never been before! Grade: B- Jeremy Borash appears backstage, and he begins to speak to the TNA crowd. If you guessed none, you are correct. We are not in this business for championships, but I think it is about time that we go for those titles. We have held every other tag team title in wrestling, so why not add the NWA Titles to our resume as well. We don’t care who we have to beat for them, LAX, VKM, it doesn’t matter. All we know is tonight, we will go through The Naturals, as those two boys are just innocent bystanders in the way of Team 3D’s road to the tag team titles, isn’t that right Devon? Brother Devon Oh my brother, TESTIFY! Grade: B- The Naturals came out in this matchup on fire, much to the surprise of everybody in attendance, and they isolated Brother Ray for a couple of minutes, not letting him get to Brother Devon. They used some very innovative tag team moves on him. Eventually though, Brother Ray found an opening, and hit both Stevens and Douglas with a double clothesline, then made the tag to Brother Devon, who cleaned house. They threw Stevens out of the ring, and then hit Andy Douglas with the 3D, picking up the win and becoming the number one contender to the tag team gold. Sabin started having things go his way eventually, and set Lethal up for a hesitation dropkick, but Lethal moved at the last second, and Sabin dropkicked the bottom turnbuckle. After brawling through the crowd, they finally entered the ring, where the ref rang the bell. Sting quickly took Abyss down with the Scorpion Death Drop, then locked in the Scorpion Death Lock. Abyss was ready to tap out, but then used his strength to get Sting off of him. Sting forced Abyss into the corner, then ran at him and went for the Stinger Splash, but Abyss caught him by the throat in mid air, and slammed him to the mat with a chokeslam. Abyss went to pin Sting, but Mitchell said no, and told Abyss to drag Sting outside. Abyss dragged Sting up the ramp, as Mitchell directed him to a stack of tables on the floor. Abyss set Sting up on the stage, ready to chokeslam him off, but Sting fought back, and got himself free. He quickly turned around and went after James Mitchell, and took him down. He then sprinted at Abyss, who caught him and lifted him up into the torture rack. Mitchell then yelled DOOMSDAY from the ground, and Abyss ran at the edge of the stage and leaped off, crashing himself and Sting through the tables with the most extreme Shock Treatment ever seen. I have news for you people, you better get used to seeing the NWA Title around my waist, because my title reign is just starting, and I’m not going to let some moron from the ghetto take it away from me. I make this title look good. I bring a certain prestige to it. If Rhino held it again it would be like school in the summer, no class. Christian outsmarted Rhino though, because he got back up, and when Rhino got back into the ring Christian jumped him. Rhino then charged at Christian, ready to Gore him out of his boots, but Cage sidestepped the challenger, and Rhino Gored the corner post, which didn’t give at all. Nice job on the logos and stuff Shayne, gives it a very cool look. In a game I'm running with TNA myslef, I booked nearly the exact same programs with the same outcomes . I'll be really keen to see where you take things, the main event scene can be hard to manage while growing it should throw up a few challenges that will make this dynasty an even better read. Joe is gonna kill Christian!!!

First is that Kurt Angle was legitimatly injured after taking a guitar shot from the returning Jeff Jarrett. A shard of wood broke off from the guitar and cut the arm of Kurt Angle, and he was officially diagnosed with a gashed arm, and can work through the injury, but will be favoring his arm in matchups, if he is put in any in the coming weeks. TNA Buyrate Troubles TNA also recieved a fairly low pay-per-view buy rate for Against All Odds in the eyes of their three biggest pay-per-view providers. All though the 2.82 has been the highest pay-per-view buyrate for any PPV this month, they still say that if TNA doesn't bring in more buys, they will be released from their contracts. New Japanese Signings In news from Japan, New Japan Pro Wrestling has inked Milano Collection AT to a contract, and he is expected to debut for the biggest promotion in Japan very soon. IWA-Japan also revealed that they have signed former WWE Superstar Kenzo Suzuki to a pay-per-apperance deal.
The show saw Umaga defend his Intercontinental Title against Super Crazy, Melina once again defend her Women's Title against Mickie James, Cena and Michaels defend their Tag Team Titles against Kenny Dykstra and Chris Masters, and in the main event, The Great Khali and Edge defeated Ric Flair and Randy Orton. The show got a 26.72 rating, which is slightly up from what they had last week. New Champion In NOAH.....Yet Again In what many feel is coming more and more rediculous, the GHC Heavyweight Championship changed hands for the fourth time in four matches. This time Akitoshi Saito defeated KENTA in his first attempt at a defense. Many felt KENTA would hold the belt for quite some time, but they proved to be wrong. Many are wondering who will hold the title next, and they shouldn't have to wait very long to find out.
Morishima Leaves ROH and NOAH for AJPW, Vacates ROH World Title In what many are considering shocking news, Takeshi Morishima has left Pro Wrestling NOAH and Ring of Honor, in favor of a written contract with All Japan Pro Wrestling. He leaves behind the ROH World Championship, leaving it vacated, and forcing ROH to crown a new champion. This is so shocking because everything was going Morishima's way in the last month. He was ROH World Champion, he had held the GHC Heavyweight Championship, and was becoming a major star. It is yet to be seen how he will be used in AJPW. New Pro Wrestling Guerrilla Champion Last night at PWG's Black and White Event, Petey Williams claimed the PWG Championship, winning it for the first time. I proved last night why I am the greatest wrestler in the world today. Rhino gave me no challenge whatsoever, exactly like I told you people. Now I must admit, there were some very interesting developments at Against All Odds, as the fat boy, Samoa Joe became the number one contender to my championship. Now Joe, everybody knows you are one dangerous individual, but you have eaten about 260 too many jelly donuts to even contend with me. I know your weakness, and I will exploit it in our match, and the long title reign of Christian Cage will continue on. It is no easy feat to beat Rhino like you did, so I must commend you for getting the job done. Now onto your match at Destination X with Samoa Joe, well, what was supposed to be your match with Samoa Joe. There has been some developments in the last week, so it will no longer be Christian Cage versus Samoa Joe going one-on-one. See, there is a TNA wrestler who has been in my ear all week, and he would not quit harassing me until I gave him a title shot a Destination X, and while I do not like this annoying little fart, I must admit he has a point, he did beat one of the greatest wrestlers alive at Against All Odds. So at Destination X, it will be a triple threat match for the NWA World Heavyweight Championship. It will be the champion, Christian Cage, defending his title against Samoa Joe, and The Phenomenal A.J. Styles! A.J. threw out some good points, so I felt he deserved to be added to the mix, and I think this is the best move for the fans, this match should be one of the greatest matches that the Impact Zone has ever seen. Now Christian, I hope you have your wrestling attire on, because you are not done for tonight. The two contenders to your title are in the main event this week, so it’s only right that you should be in action too, and your match is next. Grade: B vs. Christian Cage versus Senshi Former X Division Champion Senshi makes his way out to the ring, as Christian quickly rips off his warmup outfit, and he does have wrestling attire on underneath it, and quickly gets loosened up for this match against the martial arts specialist. He is not afraid of injuring his own body if it means taking out his opponent, and he will do anything that I tell him to do. Last Sunday we reached a no-contest in the match though, and that is something that gets under my skin. While I’m happy that Abyss took you out, I want to humiliate you by having Abyss beat down, and get the win. And let me tell you something else, next week on Impact, there will be a special announcement regarding that matchup, and that will kick off Impact next week. But now onto matters at hand, we have a X Division Champion running around crying about not having any competition, and we can’t have that. So for tonight, I have thrown together a little four man match consisting of TNA’s greatest X Division talent, and the winner of this match will face Chris Sabin one-on-one at Destination X for his X Division Championship. Now how’s that for competition Mr. Sabin? I’ll now throw it to the ring so you can see this great X Division action. Grade: C- vs. vs. vs. Petey Williams versus Matt Bentley versus Senshi versus Sonjay Dutt All four men came out in this match firing on all cylinders, knowing that whoever wins this match has cashed their ticket for an X Division Title match at Destination X versus Chris Sabin. Late in the match Petey Williams had Sonjay Dutt set up for the Canadian Destroyer, but Senshi thrust kicked him in the face before he could get it off. Senshi then went to hit the Warrior’s Way on Williams, but he was dropkicked out of midair by Sonjay Dutt. Dutt then went up top to hit the Hindu press on Senshi, and connected. He then stood up, only to be met with a superkick from Matt Bentley. Starr and Shelley had some communication troubles, after all the problems that they have had with each other in the last couple of months. Team 3D threw Austin Starr out of the ring, then set Alex Shelley up for the 3D, when out of nowhere Homicide made his way down to the ring. He distracted the ref, and out of the other tunnel came Hernandez. Hernandez was wielding the flapjack, and he hit both members of Team 3D in the face with it, knocking them out cold. Then I thought of all the little Stingers here cheering me week in and week out. Then I thought of you and that monster James Mitchell torturing all of them in my absence, so, here I am, in living color. And I must admit as much as I hate that CLB, he was the better man in our match. Now onto Scott Steiner, you think you deserved that main event match. Well now is the time to man up and prove it to me. But I have some bad news, I was talking to Jim Cornette, and he said he can’t allow us to get into the ring one-on-one at this time, something about not having enough insurance to cover all the damage that we would cause. But here is what he did tell me, at Destination X we will be participating in a tag team match. I get to pick a partner, you get to pick a partner. Now I already have my choice, and I will reveal him next week, so Scott, good hunting, I’m eager to see who you choose. Grade: C+ vs. A.J. Styles versus Samoa Joe These two men have a great history together, and it showed, because every time they would try to hit a signature move, the other had it well scouted and was able to get out of the way, or reverse it into another move. The match started to break down when neither man could get the upper hand, and it spilled out of the ring. The referee warned them to get back in the ring, but they would not listen, and the referee started to count both men out. When he reached five Joe locked in the Koquina Clutch on Styles, and he blatantly ignored the count as he choked Styles out. The referee then reached ten and declared this match a double count out, but Samoa Joe clearly got the best of Styles in this one. Winner: Double Count-Out Time: 8:46 Match Rating: B+ As Joe continued to choke Styles out, Christian Cage ran down the tunnel and attack Joe from behind, causing him to release the hold. Christian continued to attack Joe as Styles to his wits back, and he joined in with Christian in pummeling Joe for the second straight week. They backed Joe up to the announce table, where Joe found a chair, and he used it, swinging it like crazy, and he connected with chair shots to the head of both men, taking them down, and seemingly knocking them both out. Samoa Joe then folded the chair out, and put the legs around Christian Cage’s neck. He then grabbed the title and sat in the chair, and held the title up. Impact goes off the air with Joe posing with the title, Styles laying on the ground bleeding, and the NWA World Champion gasping for air as one of his challengers holds his title in the air. Grade: B+ Overall Grade: B

TNA management are not worried about this rating, as they feel that it is part of the natural ups and downs that come with running a wrestling promotion.
