Whilst I work on the Events section, I am opening up the thread to your wrestler submissions for the new data! Rules: 3 workers per person until at least 5 people have responded after you, then you can submit another 3. No big stars as the big stars are already set within the history of the data. Mainly looking for Future yet to debut people (who will debut 2001 onwards) or smaller Indie type guys/girls and people from random countries. Not looking for silly names as again, this mod already has it's fair share.

Y2KRU update... Pictures... Complete! I've started re-writing (and re-imagining) some of the characters bio's as well as having added a completely new company based in India (Bharat Kushti Revolution) and 30 new workers for their roster so far. The total workers in the data currently stands at 943 but I am working on at least another 200-500 workers (time constraints permitting) before even considering releasing a Beta of the data. I also want to start off with around 40 companies (currently 36).

I understand why TK did it but to announce it before the show in Chicago... yeah... From a wrestling standpoint, Punk was great for the company in front of the camera but his attitude backstage was clearly "I don't need this job and will do and say what I like". Which has blown up in his face. Punk holds onto grudges way too hard. I hope Jungle Boy gets at least a suspension because he didn't need to make the comment in the first place. He knew how Punk would react and was just trying to suck up to the not so Young anymore Bucks. I still think the Bucks have proven what garbage humans they are in this whole Punk situation too and are an embarrassment as EVPs... but thats a different story.

Small update on the picture switch over to my own Created Universe, 58 pictures left to do and then the bio re-write commences (maybe not for everyone but for the majority who don't have a decent bio). I'm looking to start the bio re-writes next weekend. Seriously, this makes Fallout 76 look like a marvel in gaming. The space combat is the absolute drizzling... well you know. NMS space combat is 1000 times better. The "space flight" is literally no more than clicking somewhere and your ship landing. A glorified loading screen. The ground combat is EXACTLY THE SAME as Fallout 4! Even bullet sponge enemies are back with a vengeance. Legendary items are pathetic. I found a legendary space suit that is worse than the crappy miners suit you start with! What is the point? I have a legendary gun that does less damage than the common gun I found 4 hours before! 10 hours now put into it to try and find something, anything, to justify putting in the hours but I'm deleting it instead. My advice is do not be fooled by the BS fed to you by Bethesda or Microsoft. This is a bang average 2010 game parading as a 2023 Triple A. Its awful.

Knocked off Mafia and Mafia II Definitive editions from my "still yet to complete" list. I'd forgotten how much fun they were. The next few months are going to be taken up with Starfield (providing its any good) and then I'll go back to backlog clearing. EDIT: So Starfield sucks! My God this game is boring and just pure garbage. Thankfully I got it on Gamepass but I actually can't describe how absolutely crap this game is given the years put into it. There is nothing groundbreaking here. Spaceflight? No Man Sky does it better. Space dog fights? No Man Sky does it better. Ground combat? Mass Effect does it better. There is nothing in this game that Bethesda have added that is genre defining or even just good. The only thing this has going for it is the voice acting but that's like putting lipstick on a hagfish.

I still have the framed 3 ft movie poster from the 1990 TMNT movie up on my wall In the "nerd cave". I loved Turtles as a kid so may see if I can steal my cousins kids to "take them" to watch it at the cinema. 😆 To be fair, even as an adult I still love TMNT.

I've not watched Dynamite this week and for the first time in about 2 years I don't really care about AEW at all. Up until All In from Wembley, I was into AEW and despite being a fan of selling (which none of todays wrestlers are capable of, so I let it slide) I watched Dynamite & Collision weekly but following that event in London I realised what a lazy, (or incompetent) booker Tony Khan really is. Why is he lazy? I'm glad nobody asked, it is because he thinks having your entire roster kick out of finishing moves constitutes "drama". How can I "pretend" these are contests when no one can sell a finishing move now? Adam Cole, MJF, That PoS Ospraey, Jericho... etc... were all just casually kicking out of finishers for "drama". Well, it's not drama when it's done every week on TV and in 90% of your PPV matches. Its pointless watching it. I now don't care if wrestler X hits a finisher because wrestler y kicked out of it the night before, wrestler z kicked out of it the week before etc... Its lost its impact and is just another move now. A Canadian Destroyer for example should not be used as a set up move or a throw away move. Yes, wrestling is predetermined but that makes it even more egregious booking multiple matches with finisher kick outs. It shows TK is either lazy or just doesn't have a clue how to book the wrestlers to tell a story, instead just going "oh... let's have them kick out after being hit with a finisher. Fans won't expect it as I booked the last 6 matches the same way!" Idiot. I let some things go with AEW but this for me just kills my interest. I could not care less about their product any more because its broken by a billionaire playing TEW badly on a grander scale. No one sells anything, referees are made to look like absolute clowns and the copy and paste match booking is now predictable and not worth watching. You know who is winning and how the match will unfold before the bell even rings. Sorry for the negativity but it really annoys me when something I used to love is now so completely broken and unwatchable. I could probably be more diplomatic but it's 2am, I cant sleep and I'm a grumpy arse at the moment.

Check to see if it has accidentally been given a fixed event schedule in the editor. If it has just switch it to a non fixed monthly schedule. Sorry I'm not at the PC right now to check myself. It may be that in your save you need to add another user as OMEGA and add some events if the above has happened. Not sure you can change a schedule in a save.

Y2KRU Mod - I have just finished the 750th picture replacement. Once all pictures are replaced, I will be going through the data and updating gimmicks, stats and attributes for the characters already in the data. I will then be working on a custom venue set with original venues and broadcasters. In the 2016 version I used the C-Verse default files for these 2 areas but I think it will feel a lot better to play with my own files. The last thing I will be doing is company and worker additions. As you can see, I've still got a lot of work to do on this but I'm having fun doing it so to me, that is the best reason to keep going with it.

So to give a little bit of an insight into my new mod, here are a couple of screens; There will also be some changes to the logo's and company names. Unfortunately I can't remember whose permission I asked for to use some of these logo's and although I was given permission to use them on the 2016 version, some people may have changed their minds on what I use.

When I start updating again I shall be taking a look into locations again. I feel there's still improvements that can be made to the file so I will keep this stadium in mind.

I wouldn't recommend it. The last year alone has seen so many changes to default names that you'd run the risk of duplicates in your game. We do keep a record of what was changed in every version om the read me file we put in with the data but the law of averages in human error would dictate some things may have been left off that list by accident.

Soooooo... I have been working on a conversion & update to my TEW 2016 release "Millennium" which was mine and my Cousins wrestling "World" we created back in 1996/97, but I am basing it in the year 2000. I had released this using Hero Machine pictures, however, along with a name change (Y2KRU) which is based off of one of the factions within the Mod, the pictures are currently being switched out for 3d rendered images like the C-Verse & Thunderverse. I'm at about 500 picture changes so far (so half way there) and with the data itself, I'm looking to model the TEW 2020 version more after my 1992 mod, meaning I am going to go for depth and long term playability over the short version TEW2016 had. We're nowhere near release but at least I didn't have to start from scratch and have a foundation to build from.

Just wanted to come in and say the work you've done on these pictures is amazing. From someone who you inspired to try fixing my own pics, I can see the work (and money) needed to fix them to your standard is a lot more time consuming than even I had thought. Thanks for your hard work.

I'm still plugging away at my back log (502 games) on XBox. I'll never catch up as there are not enough hours in the day. I'm currently getting through the remake of Kingdoms of Amalur (one of my favourite RPG's) and Doom. I've also got Assassins Creed Origins and Valhalla to get through but they are so big I find myself overwhelmed and quit after about an hour. Syndicate isn't as big so maybe I'll try to get through that instead. I had been thinking of going back and completing Cyberpunk again now its all been fixed. I finished it once but obviously I'll choose a different "path" next playthrough. Oh yeah Tom Clancys Breakpoint is another on my list. I loved Wildlands (which is ticked off as complete) so bought this on a whim (it was £13 for game and DLC). And that is just the tip of my gaming back catalogue! First World problems huh... I'm curious, when do you consider a game complete? Do you have to get every trophy/achievement or are you like me, once the main story is done, the game is complete. I tend not to go back to "mop up" missed achievements because although it is nice getting the little pop up, it really isn't what gaming is about for me.

SHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIDA! That is really all I have to say about this weeks Dynamite because it was (for me) the single greatest moment on the show. Dunno if I made it clear with that but... I'm a Hikaru Shida fan. 😄 I enjoyed the rest of the show, Mogul Embassy/Nick Wayne segment was brutal!

Glad you're enjoying it. Myself and SkyCrasher have gone down many a random rabbit hole when updating this - especially with Lucha Libre and broadcasters! It has really gone beyond what I had initially planned for it. Hopefully we will have a great update for everyone in the new year.

I spent ages looking for a Lasser in a Skayde mask. If you want, I can try to tidy up the Histeria pic you found. I have been unable to retrieve anything from the disc. I've no idea what happened but luckily it was my secondary drive so it was only my TEW and other gaming saves that have been lost (my primary and tertiary drives seem in tact). Annoyingly I had saved my to do list for 92 on it instead of on my C drive so unsure who I had planned on adding. I also lost 50 re-worked pictures for 92, that I cant remember but thats not a big loss. Scott has kindly reset my licence for TEW so once I'm back up and running I will be able to re-register it. I'm now only buying external SSD hard drives!

Following a complete hard drive failure I have lost everything on my PC. All the work on TEW has gone so I am genuinely chucking in modding for the rest of this year until I begin work on a 1992 mod update. I had spent hours planning and starting the new mod but thats now not going to come out as the thought of doing all that again does not appeal to me - especially the 12+ hours I spent on picture creations. All my notes for what I had planned for the 1992 mod have gone as well which has really annoyed me. Although the most annoying thing is the loss of everything else not relating to TEW.
