  1. I cant speak for everyone but finding the right people to mod with is difficult. We used to have mod teams in the past but that was still 1 person "overseeing" and each person working on an area they were familiar with (ie I was part of a team called RaveX where I worked on the UK). Nowadays there are too many people who say "I want to help" and then you never hear from them again. TBH I was very apprehensive in the beginning with SkyCrasher due to so many others letting me down but that has worked out brilliantly and I honestly don't think the 92 mod would be where it is without them so when you do find a person as dedicated to the mod (if not more) it can make the mod so much better bouncing ideas from each other and both ending up doing hours of research on niche parts of wrestling. There's also people who want to "own" their mods so really don't want to give up any control over them, which is fine as well if they are putting in the work then its their choice.
  2. You are correct. I had no idea CWA were that big in the mod (I've not looked at Europe in a long while but thought I had made them a small company already). This will be changed next update. Same with Otto Wanz. I could have sworn I had already changed him in an earlier update to Austrian - clearly not. Thanks for your feedback. I may take a look at Europe as a whole to be honest for next time. EDIT: I have now set them to 0 Rest of the World, 35 Central Europe and 10 the rest of Europe.
  3. I think it is but Mr. Canada looks to have not updated the "1.0 Alpha" Database Details field in game. I may be wrong but it seems most of the fixes have been done in the uploaded data.
  4. Not to be "that guy" but can you not just copy them yourself from any other mods picture folder you have into the 2001 picture folder?
  5. I have been looking to a start a WCW game with the 2001 data and have only just started making logos for it but here is my simple (but effective) WCW logo. I will post the TV/Event logo's when I get around to them.
  6. Sorry to hear that. I hope things start to look up for you soon.
  7. Shouldn't be much longer. I had an April(ish) time frame set for release. 🙂 I shall take a look at King II as yeah that does seem a little weak. I love Timesplitters I'd have them all in if I could BUT I have this thing where if I cant find good/passable 2d images of the characters I don't add them. Rest assured though I will add as many as I can find decent pics of. 🙂 I shall get Marshall set to Asian. Might have just been an oversight when adding. 🙂 I've just finished tweaking the Street Fighter company. I don't think I have many companies left to mess around with. I lost interest in original characters so there will probably only be about 50 for release... maybe less.
  8. To be honest though, I think he was going by the Sweet Daddy Falcone name in GWF early 1992 so might change his contracted name to that but yeah, default name in GWF is Guido Falcone in the current 3.1 data.
  9. He's in as Guido Falcone (with Sweet Daddy Falcone as an alter ego).
  10. Some of these look pretty bloody good! My own personal preference though is below in terms of size (so long as it is a comic/cartoon style image and not 3d render, I'm not too bothered which cartoon style is used (anime, comic book, western style cartoon etc...)
  11. Lost my 1992 save so started a new game with the RWC March 2024 update. Currently running a re-opened Frontier Wrestling Alliance in the UK. FWA British Heavyweight - Swerve Strickland (defeated Jody Fleisch) FWA British Women's - Nikita (defeated Izzy (Marti) Belle in tournament final) FWA British Tag Team - Glasgow Grindhouse [Krieger & Lou King Sharp] (defeated Polo Promotions [Jackie Polo & Joel Redman]) 90% of the roster was made up of unemployed workers with Swerve, Trent Seven & PAC being the "attractions" from other companies.
  12. Feel free to import the Broadcasters from my 1992 data if you want. Although, you probably would need to do some editing as a few of them would have changed name by 2001 it wouldn't be as much time as researching and adding from scratch. Same goes for arenas. I've tried to limit arenas to "would that be used" or "has that been used" rather than just pumping in every major stadium. As I said though, it is up to you. On the subject of Broadcasting... - NJPW on TV Asahi (Tour Highlights) - NJPW on TV Asahi 2 (Events) - WWE Raw moved to J-Sports 3 in Japan - WWE Smackdown moved to J-Sports 3 in Japan - AJPW removed from GAORA (didn't start broadcasting shows on there until 2007) - AJPW removed from Samurai (When Nippon cancelled AJPW shows in 2000, it held on to its 15% stake in the company to prevent it from airing anywhere else - thus in 2001, AJPW did not have a TV deal from what I can tell) - NOAH removed from Samurai TV (It has a Tour show and Event show on Nippon TV) Samurai TV only show the bigger House Shows run by NOAH and not Tours/Events.
  13. Oh that's good then. I just had this horrible feeling I'd uploaded the wrong data. I've added the others to the "to do" list.
  14. Thanks for this. Couple of queries though, El Samurai, Jado, Joey Maggs, Marc Mero & Steven Regal all have their correct debuts. I don't know why they would be different in your download. Could someone else just check their data and see if they have different dates for those 5 guys than dates listed. If so it means the wrong data is uploaded.
  15. The Gif version is a 3rd party add on that neither myself or SkyCrasher do. If someone does one I will include it but there isn't one that I know of yet. I'm happy for you to post it here or send it via PM to me. 🙂
  16. Try changing Seiji Sakaguchi "Other Companies" to open under the Business tab in the editor. If that doesn't work then I'm not sure what will counter that.
  17. I might add them to the GIW promotion under a Faction (obviously called M.A.S.K.). I don't know if you did mention this before as it seems like a good idea so I don't think I would have ignored it... if I did then more fool me!
  18. This was also discussed 2 or 3 years ago as well. I set up a poll and the consensus was to not add them to the NWA (as the NWA belts ended up getting defended on ECW shows in 1992 which didn't happen in real life). I'll change it again if enough people want the previous vote outcome overturned but for now, it will stay as is. Thanks for your feedback.
  19. They started running shows in Feb of 92 under the NWA banner (although I don't know how much influence the NWA actually had). ECW technically weren't even open in January but with discussions years ago it was decided it would be easier to have them stay open in January on the data so their roster resembled what it did in February.
  20. The previous version I posted just seemed unfinished. It bugged me for days so I took another stab at it!
  21. It is your virus software reporting false positives. This is something that has been discussed previously in multiple threads when a mod is released. Why your virus software does this, I don't know, but the file is safe (I scan it with my own virus software before I upload it). I might put a disclaimer up.
  22. Now that the 92 mod is released, I can focus solely on this one! Still a list of things to do such as re-doing the GIW (GI Joe) promotion, changing some of the free worker images with better quality ones and such. Ages are something I'm looking into and trying to decide what "era" from different games I want workers to be from. Plus a whole host of other changes/additions. Not entirely sure when you can expect this but I imagine not too long in the future. EDIT: Decided to delete about 90% of the free pictures and redo them completely. There are probably only about 10/20 pictures that were in the previous release. There are 100 male and 100 female pics at the moment now. Whether I do any more before release depends on time.

All update packs are in the main Picture folder so if you have not downloaded the main file at any point, you only need to download that 1 file.
  24. True. Which is why it has taken me an hour to try and get a fine balance between completely shutting out and allowing select companies to get deals (I'm still not overly happy with how it is working). To be honest though, with the small exception of WWF, Japan doesn't show a lot of Wrestling from outside of its own borders and most companies are only known through working relationships they have with Japanese companies. (Even AJPW & NJPW only show tour highlights and Event/PPVs on TV. They don't have weekly episodes like WWE Raw/Smackdown). This sent me down the proverbial rabbit hole and it turns out, Wrestling isn't big all over the country. The biggest markets are Tokyo, Osaka and Kobe, but we would destroy the entire Japanese area if we went down that route. From the last hour of research I've done, the way Japan works is not "game friendly" so exceptions have to be made. In other words, everything has been left as is, but with only certain Broadcasters available to show non-Japanese wrestling events. Just doing one last test "watcher" game to see how it goes. If it has huge issues then I'll have to think of something else (but it will delay release as I am going out soon and won't be back until around 8/9).
