  1. For B shows, I'll probably add 2 or 3 matches if there are midcarders I want to feud and then auto book the rest (also ensuring no mid card belts are defended). A Shows and Events are always manually booked.
  2. I finally continued my 1992 WCW and WWF joint "At War" game and only just hit 1999. I retired the WWF European title and brought in the WWF Hardcore title. Currently the champions are... WWF Heavyweight The Undertaker (def. The Rock) WWF Intercontinental Ken Shamrock (def. Eddie Guerrero) WWF Hardcore Mike Awesome (def. Al Snow (c) & Steve Blackman) WWF Tag Team Jeff Jarrett & Owen Hart (def. New Age Outlaws) WWF Women's Ivory (defeated Sable) -------------------------------- WCW World Heavyweight Sting (def. Kevin Nash) WCW United States Shane Douglas (def. Raven) WCW Television Brian Adams (def. Booker T) WCW Cruiserweight Psychosis (def. Prince Iaukea (c) & Atlantis) WCW Hardcore The Sandman (def. Perry Saturn) WCW Tag Team Chuck Palumbo & Mark Jindrak (def. Billy Kidman & Evan Karagias)
  3. Honestly I have no issue with people building off of my mods. I've no issue with them doing the same year as me either. I just don't like this "entitlement complex" some people have where they credit no one despite taking 80% of someone's work, 20% of someone else's and claiming it as their own despite minimal to no work going into it.
  4. Here's a png of the new X-Division title for when you update it.
  5. So I've gone through the rookies and changed the Experience for them (anyone with 50+). With regards to Raven, the way alter egos work in the game means that even though his default name is Raven, he won't go by that name until 1994. Anywhere he wrestles until he turns 30 he will be called Scotty the Body so there is no error in the data (he's even called Scotty the Body in his PNW contract). He will use the Johnny Polo gimmick if he joins WWF before he turns 32. He will use the Scotty Flamingo name if he joins WCW before he turns 31. Glenn Jacobs debuted as the Christmas Creature in December 1992, but before that he was known as Angus King and debuted in June 1992. No idea why he is set to having a January 1991 debut - must be an oversight as the first match I can find for him from 92 is Dumptruck & Angus King vs. Shadow Warriors in a tag match. Rey Misterio Jr. home base now set to Centro in Mexico. Keep the feedback coming
  6. His alter egos should be set up that he doesn't use the Raven default gimmick until he did in real life but I'll check when I'm next home (I'm away at the moment). I will edit the rookies. Didn't realise there was so many as it was something looked at last year. Again, I will look into it more when I'm home. Thank you for the feedback.
  7. And with that, Dynamite proved my point. Overbooked matches that didn't need to be so chaotic. It means nothing they do at PPV bar shooting someone in the face (although they'd still no sell it) is going to mean anything. What has happened to AEW? It used to be entertaining must watch TV and now its just Tony booking a mediocre E-Fed. This episode of Dynamite was "meh". Sammy is this generations Big Show. How many turns is that in 2023? I got dizzy thinking about his merry-go-round face/heel alignment. Mox v. Kingston was the obvious final from the moment "we're having a tournament" was decided. AEW 2 years ago would likely have had the surprise of Swerve v. [Anyone] and it would have been entertaining. I was on the fence about buying Worlds End but Dynamite has persuaded me to keep my money. The Mox v. White v. Swerve match was good but this show overall was very underwhelming. It's frustrating because I used to like AEW - this criticism isn't coming from a place of hate but frustration at how good this company could be if it just streamlined their roster and focused. Stop the cheap overbooking.
  8. That would be up to Mildly Amusing (or anyone else who uses the gif version) as to when/if they want (or indeed have time) to update it. It was always an add on rather than something I would do (I don't use gif versions of mods as I don't really like them). 🙂 I've added a little bit to post 1 that will list fixes that have been pointed out so we don't get duplicates.
  9. I shall look to add more females. I had a feeling when I was releasing that I was a bit (or a lot) short on building women's wrestling in the beta. I do have pictures for another 32 female wrestlers (all named) but just need to come up with gimmicks and bios for them. Thank you for the feedback. Further to this: I am still taking requests if you have any ideas for free agents/future workers. I have added Awesome Championship Wrestling to the data and have pictures and names for their entire roster - just yet to put them in or get bio/backgrounds sorted for them. That is probably down to my abysmal maths! I will get those changed. Thank you for pointing them out.
  10. Rant.... skip ahead if you don't like bad things said about AEW. I even mention Jim Cornette so there is your "trigger" warning! Seriously... don't upset yourself by reading this. If you love AEW, this post is not for you so just ignore it. You'll only ruin your day. . . . Let me say first that in 2019, 2020 and 2021 I was behind AEW. I bought into the hype. I was onboard and watching Dynamite every week. I hoped they would finally offer an alternative that gave us pro wrestling, storylines and a bit of unpredictable booking from time to time. My love for pro wrestling had returned. My interest started to be tested in 2022... It is a shame, that at the end of 2023 I am pretty much done with the company. What once had varied shows with some fun matches is now little more than "blood, flips and overbooking". The title of the "what killed AEW" book. An example of predictability. This Continental Classic tournament. We're still heading for a Mox v. Kingston final as I predicted. I dont see the Kingston appeal myself. Uninteresting character whose gimmick is the guy down the pub who doesn't shut up. I guess they have to clear any winner with NJPW too seeing as one of their belts is involved but the outcome of this is only going to be saved if Swerve somehow wins it... but he won't. I've said from the minute the competitors were announced who the final would be. Beyond this tournament, AEW have fallen into the trap of trying to compete with WWE rather than put on entertaining and coherent shows. It was nice whilst it lasted but AEW are exactly what Jim Cornette says they are and its a shame because they could have been an alternative for pro wrestling instead of an indie "blood and flips" show with a rich mark owner. They are more GCW than ECW or WCW. They are never competing with WWE whilst TK is booking the whole thing like an E-Fed. "Of course you can get all your spots in. Don't worry about selling moves - everyone knows its predetermined pretend violence anyway... we don't need to make them suspend their belief. I'm your buddy - one of the boys, not your boss." The TK mantra. Not every match needs 20 minutes of overbooking, finisher kick outs and some sort of shenanigans. A few 10 min matches hell the odd 6 or 7 minute match can tell a story... IF the guys in the ring are talented. Moxley doesn't need to claret up every time he has a match. He is decent enough that he can just have a match. These luchadors need to show the technical side of Lucha Libre more. If all they can do is flips, they are not a luchador! They are a gymnast. Luchadors are more than just "how can I nearly kill myself today". Komander is one of the WORST luchadors I've ever seen. He is a phenomenal gymnast but wrestler? No. If your opponent has to stand like a potato for 20 seconds whilst you ready your "big moves" then you lose the flow of the match and you lose the believability in what you are doing. Yet fans are acting like he's the second coming of El Santo! He's not even the second coming of Laredo Kid! I'm not saying no one should do flips - I'm saying only those who can do them without puting a gaping hole in the middle of the match should. And also - if you're hit with a big move, sell it for more than 3 seconds! Its supposed to be simulated violence not capoeira. If WWE come knocking on any of these guys doors they should go! I don't even watch WWE but I'd imagine there's more structure and an actual hierarchy where EVPs are not running around like children doing as they please to the detriment of the company (yes I'm talking about the Young Bucks). Rather than an owner who is more interested in being "friends" than a boss. Who let's the lunatics run the asylum and treat the company as little more than an ATM. Unless TK gets off the sniff and finally admits there are improvements needed (getting a team to help book for example) rather than saying "its great, we're great, that's great... Great, great, great!" Then AEW will continue losing its audience and will just become a "do you remember that promotion..." story. This is just my opinion/feelings and whether you agree or not is fine. It won't change my mind anymore than my mad man ramblings will change yours. 🙂
  11. I tend to use people already n the data so whatever role they have in the company. If I play 92, I'm Pat Patterson if I run WWE, Bischoff if I run WCW etc... I don't add myself to the data as I like booking in the style of the booker at the time (I just make different stupid choices when I'm Bischoff 😁). I did once play as Ric Flair booking WCW in 1998 - I booked "myself" to the moon. Egomaniac save! So yeah, that tends to be what I do. Sometimes using RWC modern I will be Bryan Danielson when I book AEW & Triple H when I play as WWE.
  12. Yeah... I'm old! 😁 To be honest though, I don't care how old I get anymore - If life has taught me anything, it's to do what you like doing and if that bothers people, it's their issue. I originally used Hero Machine for the pictures on the 2016 release (didn't realise I'd left the folder in there) but as that used Flash, it ended up going the way of the Dodo. I did get an app that allowed me to play Flash programs on my PC, but it kept crashing so I just opted to start fresh. Originally I started creating pics in Daz but found I wasn't very good at it (you can tell with some of the pics still in the data that I created). In the end I opted for AI. I started with one program, then found a new one that gave way better results - which is why there is a bit of a difference in picture styles. Eventually I will try to re-do all the pictures in the newer style. Thank you! I shall edit MPW so they don't have this issue. These are the sort of things I need pointed out.
  13. Version: Beta - Released 22nd December 2023 (Downloads at the bottom) What is this? This project started many years ago (in 1995) when my brother, my cousin and myself used pen and paper wrestling, along with Hasbro wrestling figures (well to be fair, any action figures) to put on our own shows and run our own "company". I stole about 20 blank notepads from school (yeah I was a klepto in my youth) and we kept everything written from roster changes, to heel/face turns, to show results. It soon evolved into a spreadsheet on the computer, then onto an e-fed management system called Zeus Pro and eventually we added it to EWR. We also used various WWF/WWE wrestling games to create some of the wrestlers. The data was never meant to be released to the masses, it was something we did when younger and I still have memories of all the fun we used to have doing it. I had originally thought about releasing this in 2010 but for whatever reason, it never came to pass. I released a "rough" version for 2013 but I never really liked how it turned out. A slightly more polished version was released on 2016, but again it didn't really capture what I was attempting. The OG's of the Pen and Paper era... ============================== Of course, not everyone in this database was in the Pen and Paper fed, over time both myself and one of my friends have added more and more to it (including some of my favourite 80's Mania Wrestler characters), along with submissions from people on GDS forums over the years but if you want to know who the original guys were that we used in the pen and paper days, well, here is a list. Mike Tibbs (Difference: Was normally called Mikey T) Scott McQueen Brad Tibbs Scott Rhey Gary Rhey Amanda Rhey (Difference: She was a valet named Skye and not a wrestler) Lauren Fletcher (Difference: She was a valet named Montana and not a wrestler) Dez Martin (Difference: Was normally called Dezzy S) Miles Mack (Difference: Was normally called Mack Truck) Marty Jay Mark Wolfe (Difference: Was normally called Apocalypse) Mark Cruikshank Steve Harte Mick Ironhart (Difference: I have killed him off in this mod) Black Harte Man in Black Kidd Lightning (Difference: Was normally called "Lightning Kid" Andy Smith) Brian Baker (Difference: Was normally called Brian Carlos) Colorado Chaos Jon Page Alucard Blaze (Difference: on Pen and Paper he was a huge heel) Crawford Zanetti (Difference: on Pen and Paper he was just an enhancement with no real gimmick) Damien Cash (Difference: on Pen & Paper he was a manager like Ted DiBiase and had his own Million Dollar Faction) Doom Guard (Difference: on Pen & Paper there was only 1 guy, not a tag team) E. Vil Clown (The "E. Vil" was short for Extremely Villainous) Mr. Chuckles (Difference: Was normally called Filthee The Clown) Jackson Paul Lynxx Juan del Brazo Reznor TZ Powell Anyway, background out the way, please remember at this stage the data is in a Beta state - meaning I still have things to add down the line but it is in a playable enough state to get some feedback, ideas etc...
  14. Have you created a blank database in the editor (so it generates the correct folders) and then put the data/pictures in the generated folders? Manually creating the folders doesn't normally work as far as I'm aware. Other than that, I don't know why it isn't showing up as it seems to be working for other people. Make sure you are putting the database file and not the winrar file in the database folder as well (sounds simple but people have put the winrar file in before - it won't work unless it is the .mdb file in the folder).
  15. Yeah, I've no idea why that has happened. I thought I'd set her as American. She will be changed.
  16. Thats weird. Its not password protected. Your picture issue, have you checked the correct folder is selected in the database details under the editor? Only asking because this now has over 400 DLs so I know it isn't the data.
  17. Buuuuut... they have a separate streaming service for ROH so how could that be implemented without AEW shows appearing on the ROH stream? If I was still doing the mod I'd keep them separate but... I'm not so whatever gets decided is of no issue (I edit it to my own liking anyway). 🙂
  18. Can you list them please so one of us can fix them. Otherwise we have to waste time going through everyone with a contract in Japan to check. Thanks.
  19. I will hopefully be releasing the Y2KRU data some time next week. I have 100 more workers to add (they are all named with pictures, I just need to stat them. Some may have default bio's to start in this version unless they are a big/medium character in the World). Those "lesser" characters will eventually be fleshed out as I release more updates for the data.
  20. I've checked the data and all pics are linked to the data. Have you selected the correct picture folder within the database details in the editor?
  21. Like Mammoth, I'm almost certain it is Tortuga Ninja I Rafael - although he was unmasked in 1990 so if this image was taken after that date, it's not him.
  22. DISCLAIMER: This file has been tested for viruses before uploading. If your virus software flags it as containing a virus, this is a false positive. The file is safe and any reports of "this says it contains a virus" will be ignored. Chronicles 1992 is a mod that was built from the foundations of Eye of the Storm by Justtxyank (which was one of my favourite mods on 2016) this data has taken on a life of its own. With years of work going into adding, deleting, fixing, re-adding, re-deleting, re-stats, re-doing picture packs... etc... This mod CAN be played pretty much up to modern day! With 6843 workers spanning decades of wrestling history, it is possible to play until the 2020's. There is a notepad Read Me file included with the Database, it is worth looking at to see just how much work has gone into it as it has every change and addition made from the Beta, right up to the newest version. After being a solo mod maker on this project for the earlier years, I have, in the last 12-18 months, had the help and assistance of SkyCrasher who has done a great job of updating this with me (and on occasion for me). Huge credit has to be given to them for the volume of work put into this. I'd like to thank everyone who has contributed to this mod in one way or another, whether it be with fixes, constructive feedback, pictures, or just to praise the mod and tell us how much fun you are having. As always, anything you find that needs fixing, post below and we will take a look. =====================================================
  23. I've found a few more things I want to do with the Y2KRU data before I release it. The plan is to have it out before Christmas still. I am thinking of asking that this thread gets locked down as although it is good to have my mods in one place, a lot of people don't check the thread to see what is in here so I will be going back to the old school of one thread per mod. It will also be easier for me to see what mod a person is talking about when giving feedback.
