1. When searching through workers, if you switch Intention from To View to To Hire, I think it does this already.
 2.
A few things I noticed were that many of the starting products probably need to be changed (the converter is really bad at getting them right). For example, SWF is Classic Balanced and should probably be Classic Sports Entertainment or Attitude Entertainment or Crash TV or something like that. AAA is Crash TV and should probably be Family Friendly Pro Wrestling. GSW is Wrestling Nerd Nirvana and should probably be Extreme Hardcore. And so on and so forth. Those were just the first three I noticed.

Also, while I'm not sure you can do anything about it, it looked like a bunch of companies were still going on major hiring sprees at the start of the mod and gutting the smaller companies. You might try reducing owner size preferences, but I don't think you can do anything to spare AAA and QAW.

 4. I don't think it's intended to represent that the gimmick flopped (that would be getting a lousy rating) but rather that there's something about the gimmick that inhibits the worker. Maybe the gimmick doesn't quite gel with some of the worker's go-to spots, so they have a harder time putting a match together. Maybe they're a heel who constantly ducks out of the ring, which might get them a lot of heat but doesn't necessarily make for a great match. I think it's things like that that the modifiers are trying to represent.
 5. So, there no longer exist "particular" gimmicks. You say it's a Fan Favorite gimmick, but that's just flavor text. The things that matter are: 1. It's a Standard gimmick, 2. However Safe or Creative you set it when you created it, and 3. However Unique or... whatever the opposite of Unique is that you set when you created it. You may remember a grid thing when you picked the gimmick type - that's where you set how Creative and Unique it is. If you didn't set anything, it's right in the middle. When a gimmick debuts, not only does it get a rating, it can also generate these modifiers. Creative gimmicks tend to get more of them and Safe gimmicks tend to get less. The specific type of gimmick (Standard, Dominant, etc.) affects what types the gimmick is eligible for, but the specific ones you get are random. I believe that they are also independent of how good the gimmick is. So you can get a legendary gimmick with disadvantages, or an awful gimmick that has advantages. I don't think that you can change these without changing the gimmick (or going into the editor).

 7. I'm not really into MMA or boxing, but my impression is that even in completely legitimate combat sports, popularity counts for a lot - people pay to see big names and winners (people who are over), not just random individuals who are good in the ring. I would think that the difference is that people in those kinds of sports (or in a Faux MMA or WNN company) get over based more on in-ring talent than on entertainment skills or looks (not that those things don't count). In the game, I think this is supposed to be handled by the "Fans will turn on workers who..." note. Now, it might be more reasonable if that worked by capping how over people could get (or how much overness they could use) based on their in-ring ability rather than just as a hit. That would allow fans to accept people who are just rookies while preventing people who just aren't good from getting really over. But I think that a lot of what people would consider to be performance-heavy companies should still put a lot of weight on popularity (that's not to say that WNN shouldn't put more weight on performance than it does). I would suggest that a company that is almost purely performance-based would look more like the Medieval Times restaurants (minus the medieval aspect). Something where you're not really following the wrestlers at all and they're just working as interchangeable actors.
 8.

Is there a way to keep fake companies from being generated in a real-world database over time? (They are not in the database to begin with, they appear after a few years with no logo)
Example: https://imgur.com/a/s9iV8OX

Yes. You can't do it mid-game (that I know of), but you can go into the editor from the main menu, Edit Database > Database Details. There is an option there called Organic Companies. You want to set that to Off. I think that that will prevent companies from being generated like that.

 9. Most likely, WWE, NJPW, NXT, and Impact all have popularity worldwide, but you only have it in a few areas (say, the US, Canada, and Mexico, or something like that). So if you look at just one of those areas, you might be much higher, but overall, you aren't. For example, I had a watcher game with KTB where AEW was a good 20 points ahead of WWE in the US, Canada, Mexico, and Japan (I think it was those four areas), but they were still ranked fairly far back overall because they had almost no presence anywhere else.
 10.

Quick Question: I'm playing an 80s mod, now into 1989. I have Brian Pillman under contract and have been pushing him hard in a tag team with Mad Dog Capone for over a year. He's improved very quickly, and gained a lot of popularity.

... and is popular enough.

How does his popularity compare to the rest of your roster? He may be very popular, but if there are enough people who are more popular, he still won't autopush past them.

 11. The idea is that you still have to pay for electricity, maintenance, and so forth. Not absolutely certain, but I believe that events always cause larger pop changes than TV shows. I don't think the schedule of the events (e.g. weekly, monthly, etc) actually matters.
 12.

How can I tell what effects my product has on the different game regions? Was the feature to see what products are trending in the business removed?

If you want to see what kinds of products are trending, click on the date block in the upper left corner of the screen. If you want to see if (or where) a specific company's product is trending, go to the Companies screen, go to the company's profile, and click on Product (you can't see it from the Product screen in the office, you have to go through the company profile).

 13. I think they default to being Inactive, so on the titles screen, you probably have to click on the Search button and set it to look for all titles, not just Active ones. Then I think they'll appear and you can modify them to be active. (Note: I'm going from memory here and have not checked this to verify)
 14. It looks like there may be some workers in the database who have both Plays Offbeat/Unstable Well and Can't Play Offbeat/Unstable, which I believe was (or maybe still is) a problem when converting from TEW 2016. The ones I noticed were Eddie Edwards and Brandon Tolle (who is a referee, so it's a bit odd that he would play anything well, but I digress), but it looks to be pretty common among workers who have Plays Offbeat/Unstable Well. There are also only three workers who have Plays Mysterious/Occult Well, which I think was/is another conversion problem. On a more amusing note, in the Watcher game I've simmed out to 2023, NXT has (slightly) more US popularity than WWE does. AEW is #1 in the US somehow, despite Dynamite currently only showing on YouTube (Japan) and YouTube (Mexico). I guess their PPVs are holding them up?
 15. Also useful: if you go the Companies page (from the left side of the AM screen), view a company's profile, then click on Product, there will be a box in the lower right that will tell you in which areas, if any, that product is trending.
 16. So, I found where it tells you if a product is on-trend. If you go to a company's profile (not the office page) and click on their Product, then the bottom right of the screen will tell you if their product is currently on trend. Doing some very basic checking, it looks like products are not mutually exclusive. So, USPW's Family Friendly Pro Wrestling product is trending both with Age of Innocence and Age of Nostalgia. Classic Sports Entertainment looks similar. QAW trends with Age of Memes. ZEN trends with Age of Innocence. Age of Personality only seems to help RAW of the companies I've looked at. Fast and Furious trends with Age of Realism. It looks like Age of Innocence would help ZEN and APW but not RAW.
 17. If you go to Eras in the Editor, there is a place to set product trends. The Product Trends section in the handbook suggests that you can see if a Product is on-trend from a company's product screen. I have no idea what it's talking about here - I can't find that (possibly because I don't have any saves where anything is trending). But you can also click on the date in the title bar of the main window and it will suggest what products are trending, if any (it's on the right side).
 18. You could edit the free pictures to not appear before a preferred date, perhaps. Maybe even have some that are set to only be used for announcers that can appear at any time.
 19. Something that looks slightly off about the Diablo X mod is M-WOW. Their Core Product is Attitude Entertainment and their Current Product is PG Rated Sports Entertainment, but the company description seems to imply that they've just shifted to an edgier product, so it seems like it should be the other way around. And let me say that I'm glad to see that you're still around.
 20. I don't think that it is purely aesthetic - the handbook says (under Attendance Levels) that company momentum affects show attendance. This could indirectly affect popularity gains as (also per the handbook) you get boosted growth with more viewers, but I agree with you that it's probably not relevant in the situation you're quoting.
 21. It depends on the database you're using, but I believe that in the Cornellverse you have to be Cult.
 22. In the default data, USPW is high on the range of expected women's roster size (something like 19 when expecting 15-20) and CWA is low (I think 15 out of 15-18). So, I expect that USPW doesn't mind losing a few women, whereas CWA loses one and then goes on a hiring spree (my experience being that companies under the range tend to over-estimate how many contracts they need to offer, probably because they expect to lose bids for some).
 23.

What exactly goes into marketing costs, mine are sky high?

I think it's purely based on size - they're very low until you get to Cult size, and then they increase drastically.

 24. While I agree with your main point (that it's a lot more work converting a mod from 2016 to 2020 than it was converting from 2013 to 2016), this doesn't match my experience. I've seen many workers convert with significant experience. I have no idea how it rates said experience (best guess is that it's some combination of time in the business and size of companies worked with), and there is definitely a discrepancy where some workers who have been around for a few years still have 0, but by-and-large, I see workers converting to have experience.
 25. I feel like the sizes of broadcaster you can launch are a little crazy. In the base data, Reverie is an Internet Subscription broadcaster with Huge coverage across the United States (and more elsewhere) and my impression was that they're supposed to be equivalent to Netflix or something. I can't imagine that any wrestling company could ever launch something that would reach that many people, or if they did, I would think that the finances of that broadcaster would dwarf anything associated with the wrestling company. It seems like the maximum size you can launch should be pretty small, or perhaps that beyond some maximum size, things flip so that they own you.
