  1. Damn, we knew the betrayal was always going to be sudden and inevitable but even knowing that it was a gut punch for Oonishi's sake when it happened. Erin, Erin, Erin, you'll get there, sharpening your skills is all part of the process, bonus if you can get a following while you do. Erin Marcelin vs. Joy Ryder Zofia Jankovic vs. Mystery Pink Thea Davis vs. Pinky Perez Yu Hashimoto / Lady Lotus / Monster Ishimura / Unstoppable Tai / Toku Kijmuta vs. Miwako Katsukawa / Sae Akutagawa / Machiko Matsuda / Yukiko Matsumara / Hana Ajibana 5SSW Triangle Title Match: Maya © vs. Romi Yamato vs. Rika Tsujimura 5SSW Tag Team Title Match: Talia Quinzel / Selina Svelte © vs. Kaede Sugiyama / Kinuye Mushashibo 5SSW All-Asian Title Match: Maki Yoshifumi © vs. Eri Sato Fuyuko Higa vs. Gemmei Oonishi Queen's Castle Cup Finals: Yuma Maruya / Shiori Jippensha / HEART Saitoh vs. Megumi Nakajima / Chiyeko Kita / Etsuko Arihyoshi BONUS QUESTION: Who gets inducted into the 5SSW Hall Of Fame: Nyoko Toshitara or Saori Nakadan?
  2. Loving the new renders. I need to rethink how I wanted to work the neotokyo fed, the issue with doing it how I wanted was you wind up with a lot of spots that barely hit double figures (go figure, sign a bunch of rookies and you get rookie performance but you gave us so many new toys) so I have to figure out how to introduce more established stars without overshadowing the rookies same way they would be in 5SSW and who to keep, likely the natives because they can't afford a language barrier hit at that level. I might look at Eve, I have to say I am also tempted to being Ashley Keith into QAW and build her up there, there is a ready made feud there with a certain Queen of Hearts.
  3. I have been thinking of a TCW run where I get rid of the weekly television show and have them run a touring schedule. I know that a couple people here have done this so a few questions on a logistics aspect. What do I do with the television deal? Just straight up cancel it? If so what do I replace it with? One option I have is a (much smaller) version of Reverie where they set up their own network. If I do this to I focus on profit or size of coverage? How much do I eat into profits to add countries such as Canada? Is it better to just go with a PPV channel? Are there any events I absolutely should keep for the integrity of it still being TCW? I think I read somewhere historical and legendary. I am also considering running QAW, also as a touring company, in this game, maybe with some headcanon or database editing involvement of BriCo in the same way a card company owns both NJPW and Stardom. If I start a network or PPV service for TCW am I then able to put QAW on this broadcaster or do I need to maybe make a broadcaster in the editor that is just for those two feds?
  4. This seems to be a running theme with anything not real world mod for some reason given Killing the Business worked just fine. Rename your default pictures folder in case anything goes wrong - I don't think it will, my current folder has pictures from three different mods in but still - and name a new one default, copy and paste all the original pics and then the pics from the mod into the new default folder, they should all turn up then.
  5. Go into the game database section and set up two new databases. Leave the game. Go to the databases folder, go into default and copy the database file, paste into the database folder you intend to use for your merge, (replaces the blank database with the default game data), copy over all pictures you intend to use. In the other new database copy the file for the women's revolution mod. Re-enter the game, back to database editor and import, from there import the women's revolution data in this order (from the previous page). 1) MOVES 2) MOVE SETS 3) WORKERS 4) WORKER RELATIONSHIPS 5) CHEMISTRY 6) TAG TEAMS 7) GRADUATES 8) EXCURSIONS 9) ALTER EGOS 10) NARRATIVES Edit: On a second look I don't see companies in that list, I am assuming after workers (contracts carry over with companies) unless anyone knows better.
  6. Another grammar catch for you in Project Eve, "Eve has grown a reputation for it's workers", you need to lose the apostrophe in it's.
  7. Missed this when I responded earlier, that mod is amazing, started a run with building the neotokyo one from scratch, got japan’s main football commentator in the booth with J-Ro. The Weird Sisters and the day of the dead trio may just be my favourite cverse default or mod characters now. I am a big AJJ fan also, had some good runs with Lotus and Yamanue-Gun along with a stable made of Jess Hart, the two closely linked with her and a few other gaijins with The Queendom as their unit name. I am waiting for their 2020 version with the 2020 features and balancing taken into account to do anything in 2020 other than borrow the likes of Otohime, the Harts and All Hallows Eve for cverse Feds
  8. I don’t know tcw’s roster well enough, as far as I can see the options are Lucha-resu if you have comedy and high spot capable wrestlers, the ones you mentioned. I don’t know all the products, if one is king’s road that is an option but I think that is more how you book the stars within a product.
  9. That is a nice idea. I am planning something similar when the thunderverse 2020 is finished and has been around a few months, merging that, the default database and the women’s revolution cverse mod and putting an alliance together out of qaw, 5ssw, ajj, the neotokyo fed in the women’s revolution mod and one of the American wrestling feds in thunder, a nice mix of established stars and youth stars expectations along with a mix of east and west with the American ones turned into touring companies since as it stands they run once a month anyhow. It also gives opportunity for some cross database dream matches such as the line or ronin three butting heads with lotus and yamanue-gun as well as individual company figurehead dream matches. I might do the cott run in the meantime to see how it goes. Smaller scale I do like the idea in this thread of making USPW’s biggest competition one of the other big three as a touring company.
  10. I've started a save with the recently released (and excellent) women's revolution cverse mod and I have taken on the Japanese lucharesu fed (meaning mix of puro, lucha and some sports entertainment type storytelling). I'm playing it as a building from the ground up blank slate project, no history, hired the workers and staff, built stories and stables around the people I hired. So far so good. My issue here is how quickly do I move some things along? Mainly in terms of titles. Do I have a few months without them and run regular tour and feuds for a few months? Do I go as long as my planned finale event in August? Or is it more realistic to put the people who have some big wins in the tour dates into title matches month one or something like a round robin with all 22 stars where the finalists win the two singles titles? I know it is all a matter of taste and preference when it comes down to it, I guess my question is in a company with larger shows every one or two months and six to ten tour nights between what smacks as most realistic bearing in mind also the storytelling expectations?
  11. <p>I am nowhere near ready for a thread in dynasties but I posted this little intro to a NeoTokyo run in the hype thread.</p><p> </p><p> <a href="http://greydogsoftware.com/forum/showpost.php?p=2461856&postcount=157" rel="external nofollow">http://greydogsoftware.com/forum/showpost.php?p=2461856&postcount=157</a></p>
  12. <p>Also in the Women's Revolution theme, I put together a federation/roster introduction (including a few people from the Thunderverse imported in) for a NeoTokyo Joshi Futures run. Having learned some from a diary I got exactly one card into, this is a while off, I want to have a couple game months buffer and have the next couple planned out but I figured I've spent the time writing it might as well post.</p><p> </p><p> </p><div style="text-align:center;"><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;">Straight from the news static takes the screens of homes all over Tokyo. A wraith attacks her rabidly, throwing her into a dustbin. The dragon rises, roars, she jumps off of a dumpster leaping back with a kick to the jaw. The wraith's head snaps back, the dragon jumps onto her shoulders but this is her last mistake as she is thrown with sickening impact to the concrete floor; under their forms the names Otohime and Onryu flash up. Onryu drags the other girl by the scruff of her neck, scene changes and she dumps Otohime at the feet of two figures, one older, one a teenager in a billowing cloak, All Hallows Eve and Spider Isako. They have clearly been in heated discussion, Himari frowns and opens the door. In the shadows beyond the porch light is a figure who a graphic names Mizucore. 13. I don't know if it is intentional or if I have done something wrong in importing (first time I have imported something into a copy of the default database) but none of the feds have rosters or staff. Not that this is a bad thing mind you, I've just started a Neo Tokyo run with one of the recent retirees of 5SSW that managed to snag J-Ro as colour commentator and have built stables. My favourite stable is my main heel stable comprising of Spider Isako, Onryo, the three Weird Sisters and, from Thunderverse, Otohime and All Hallow's Eve (one of my few older hands), Otohime is there to further the dark mistress and weird sisters gimmicks as a captive face who is the sworn sister of one Himari Miwa, the leader of the main face stable and will be one of my biggest storylines for the first year or so. If I get it written coherently as I go I might dynasty it. (Though I still have some way to go before I even run my first event but all part of the fun). The only thing I would say against this is if someone wants to start in January they need to be very quick getting all of the staff if they want to run a tour schedule, I lost the first week of January getting my staff and will likely start with a title tournament, with a round robin in the tour dates, in February now. The legacy characters I have seen are also very nicely put together, you couldn't tell them apart from regular cverse. Some pointers on the brief run I have had with it. If there are rosters in mind or at least some stars who are intrinsic to the existence of some feds (someone mentioned Ashley Keith in EVE) it might be worth adding contracts (this is assuming I didn't screw up the import, mind). The Weird Sisters of Skuld, Urd and Verdani, you might want to put the names of the other two members in the bio of each of them, or at least the Weird Sisters link in all three bios. Urd you specifically mention the relationship, Skuld doesn't mention the link but I got the connection through Aud Valkyrie as a trainer, Verdani you don't even give that, I had to get it from general look, that she was younger than Urd which I used to narrow the list down and confirmed it with her having the Weird Sister gimmick since I had only seen two with it when I had put my initial roster, which I had trimmed from a shortlist to twenty so I am over that but eh it works better in fairness, together.
  14. The renders and the companies all look amazing, excited to try them out, especially Neo-Tokyo, since they are in the business of making new stars certain people like Spider Isako might find a home here (currently the only place I use her is QAW after messing with her availability), especially with or feuding against some of the new additions in this mod. Another quick grammar pickup, London SS you have 'like they're Japanese counterparts', needs to be 'their'.
  15. Linking on to an earlier conversation with the Japanese scheduling and such, does anyone have any ideas how viable it would be to run QAW as a touring company rather than just their twelve shows a year? I kind of get how I would want to do it, making the existing stables larger and adding a couple, and I would also have to consider do I change the product to one where I have less of an expectation on angles, my concern would be does it work for their audience and would I just go bust in half a year or so. If it isn't doable, eh, I have 5SSW, I have AJJ in the Thunderverse (I tend to favour joshi/women's wrestling in general truth be told), figured worth an ask.
  16. Very nice, I love the characterisation and these personal moments, it's nice to see that and well put together cards and writeups in the same dynasty.
