Quite awkward. Kinda awkward but I'll be nominating myself, FINisher, to the HoF 2020. I know I haven't been the most active in the recent five years or so but from 2005 to 2014 I was here daily so newer members might not quite recognize the name which is understandable. Reasons for the nomination being that I've been here since 2005, have done ~20 diaries over the TEW series of games and won few DOTM's in several categories. Aside from the diaries, I have edited/modded/alt'ed approximately over 10,000 images for the TEW game series over these fifteen years. I've done two ~4K .gif image mods for TEW2020 and TEW2016 + thousands upon thousands of alts for earlier versions of the game series, as well as countless Skin packs too. I'll be reaching 5K forum posts this year. It's kinda hard to nominate oneself but when I look at that list of great members of the forum I kinda feel left out, even though I know my diaries can't compare with the best of them - Angeldelayette, BigPapa42, Eisen-Verse, J Silver, James Casey, NoNeck, Phantom Stranger, Self, Tigerkinney and countless others (sorry if I've forgotten, there's been so many great diaries over the fifteen years on these forums).

In terms of in-ring work, Sotan Morimoto was head and shoulders above everyone else. E+ Goemon Togo & Hidetoshi Chino vs. Gravedigga & Olly Graves Deathmatch II In a terrible pre-show match, Goemon Togo and Hidetoshi Chino defeated Gravedigga and Olly Graves in a Deathmatch II match in 8:11 when Hidetoshi Chino pinned Olly Graves with a Running High Knee. Gravedigga is now in WEXX! E Eiichi Umehara & Asylum vs. Antonio Del Veccio & Cip Conduit Deathmatch II In a pre-show bout that had a decent reaction from the crowd but sub-par wrestling, Eiichi Umehara and Asylum defeated Antonio Del Veccio and Cip Conduit in a Deathmatch II match in 8:25 when Eiichi Umehara pinned Cip Conduit with an Umehara Suplex. In a bout that had a decent reaction from the crowd but sub-par wrestling, DAEMON defeated The Body Hammers in a Deathmatch match in 9:13 when Kimi Kawano pinned Blockbuster with a Daemon Speeding. DAEMON make defence number four of the WEXX Blood Brothers titles. Kimi Kawano carried the match in terms of in-ring performance. Lots of counters, table breaks and flipped middle fingers from Sumiyuki, eventually Makioka gets the pinfall after the second Z-Section, this time from the apron through a ringside glass panel. In a bout that had good heat and decent wrestling, Zeshin Makioka defeated Sumiyuki Samura in a Deathmatch match in 14:40 by pinfall with a Z-Section. Surprisingly, he's got the WEXX Fighting Spirit championship with him. "My grandfather Ryu Kajahara always said to me that in this business, loyalty and respect are the two most important things for a wrestler to have." Tatsu takes a deep sigh. ".. As the head booker of WEXX, I have to officially declare that as of this moment, Kaito Doan is to be stripped of his WEXX Fighting Spirit championship. Kaito Doan has failed to show loyalty and respect to this company, deciding to work for WLW this fine evening, instead of entertaining you people out here tonight!" A "WEXX! WEXX!" chant is heard from the crowd. "Since Kaito Doan can't compete tonight, I've decided to face.. Mm.." Tatsu ponders for a while.. "In a deathmatch.. To crown a new WEXX Fighting Spirit champion.." "It's going to be me.. Versus.." Tatsu picks up Doan's handheld mirror from his trunks and drops it to the ring. "Kaito Doan's mirror!" "Bring me a referee and ring the f'n bell!" The crowd is not happy about the championship being vacated and then switching hands outside of a match and makes it heard loud and clear. Tatsu places his boot on top of the mirror as the referee makes the three count. The fans are livid and start throwing things into the ring as Tatsu is announced as the NEW WEXX Fighting Spirit champion. "What are you doing!?", Tatsu mutters out in disbelief, clearly not expecting the reaction from the hostile crowd. "Don't hate me, Doan is the culprit here! He's the one that didn't show up! He's the one that let you down!" The fans start throwing chairs into the ring, one clocks Tatsu to the back of the head. He rolls out of the ring and to the ramp and shouts to the mic: "THIS IS MY RING, MY PROMOTION, MY TITLE!!" "I CAN DO WHATEVER I WANT!! I OWN YOU!!" Tatsu Kajahara wins the WEXX Fighting Spirit title. E+ http://sadhappy.mbnet.fi/WEXX/Nakayama.jpghttp://sadhappy.mbnet.fi/WEXX/VS.jpghttp://sadhappy.mbnet.fi/WEXX/Shimpei.jpg Nakayama vs. Shimpei Hirose Scaffold Deathmatch The setup for this Scaffold Deathmatch is simply amazing - the scaffolding looms overhead with all sorts of weapons and items hanging from ropes near the scaffold. Underneath the scaffold, the ring itself has a spiders web of barbed wire all over it and the ringside is filled with piles upon piles of tables. First men to get thrown off the scaffold loses! Both wrestlers are heightened up to the scaffold and the match is on! Hirose starts with a quick flurry of elbows but misses the last spinning one which enables Nakayama to hit a huge dropkick, almost vaulting Shimpei right off the edge! Hirose hangs on to the scaffolding cables in the corner! Nakayama hits several middle kicks whilst Shimpei tries to dodge them, eventually getting himself back to sure footing on the scaffolding. Nakayama tries to reach for a barbedwire bat hanging from the ceiling but can't. Hirose hits a low blow and follows up with a DDT, making a dent to the scaffold! Crowd gasps as it almost looked as if the structure would break. Hirose looks a bit scared, a stark contrast to the faceless masked man Nakayama. Hirose clutches on to the cable in the corner and stomps on the dent, trying to figure out if it'll hold. Nakayama jumps up and hits an arm drag, slamming Hirose right in the middle of the scaffold and the dent grows larger, this time the whole structure makes an eerie squeeking noise, sounding like it would break at any moment. Nakayama finally gets the bat but misses the downward swing, hitting through the wooden scaffold! The barbedwire bat gets stuck to the floor and Hirose hits a drop toe hold, almost vaulting Nakayama off the scaffold! Nakayama gets a grip from the edge, Hirose tries to drag him across the edge. Nakayama turns around and locks a triangle choke, wrapping his legs around Hirose's face and shoulders, trying to submit him! Hirose tries to twist himself out of the move but can't. Finally in an act of desperation, he stands up and lifts Nakayama up to a powerbomb position right at the edge of the scaffold! Nakayama releases his hands and archers backwards.. HURRICANRANA OFF THE SCAFFOLD!! Hirose gets a hold off from the cables with both hands and hangs on! In a surreal moment for the ages, with all the momentum from the failed hurricanrana attempt, Nakayama hurls himself off the scaffold through what looks like at least 5-6 different tables at ringside - the regular ones and those with glass and barbedwire on them! The match is over! Shimpei Hirose wins! In a bout that had good heat and decent wrestling, Shimpei Hirose defeated Nakayama in a Scaffold Deathmatch match in 9:13 when Nakayama was thrown from the top of the scaffold through several tables. Not as an epic fall as the one Nakayama just had but still - Hirose is in great pain! Ringside staff and others wrestlers start to dig for Nakayama who is buried under the rubble of all the broken tables. Whilst Hirose is getting help in the ring, a bloody, bruised Nakayama is found under the wreckage, his mask turned from yellow to crimson red, with cuts all over him from the broken glass. Uncharacteristic for him, Hirose looks simply mortified of the carnage he just had witnessed as unconscious Nakayama is being carefully stretchered out.. Right off the bat ONE hits a nasty looking low dropkick out of nowhere, trying to cripple Konoe's legs, trying to disable Konoe's Animalistic Gore! Something clearly hits the right spot as Konoe drops awkwardly and starts to limp. ONE goes for the ropes, trying to get more momentum but ANIMALISTIC GORE out of nowhere! Konoe was playing possum! One.. Two.. .. .. TWO!! ONE kicks out! ONE stands right back up, Konoe goes for another Gore! MISS! And through the ring ropes he goes! ONE drops out of the ring and starts battering Konoe with wild blows to the back. ONE grabs Konoe by the head and throws him to the ringside steps! ONE picks up the steps and hits Konoe's legs, this time leaving no doubt about the validity of the hit! Konoe screams in agony as his legs are being pummeled repeatedly. Konoe starts crawling under the ring and disappear for a moment until ONE pulls him back, only to get a small cactus thrown to his chest! A move so random that ONE doesn't quite feel the pain of the sting, more like pure confusion! ONE keeps staring at the cactus sticking at his chest in disbelief, until Konoe hits a wicked chair shot across the chest, driving the small cactus deeper into the chest of the champion! ONE grabs the cactus and throws it into the crowd but as he looks back at Konoe, Konoe is charging with yet another Gore but can't really get his legs going and ONE counters with a nasty jumping knee across the face, leaving Konoe reeling and finally falling back. ONE finds a shard of glass laying around and starts grinding it across Konoe's forehead, making a deep cut! Bleeding profusely and his legs in shambles, Konoe is easy pickings for the champion, as ONE plunges Konoe on top of the steel steps with The Flatterer for his first title defence! In a bout that had fantastic heat and great wrestling, ONE defeated Taheiji Konoe in a Deathmatch II match in 8:31 by pinfall with The Flattener. ONE makes defence number one of the WEXX Warrior's Spirit title. ONE starts spraying the table all over with the fluid and asks for a lighter from the crowd! Several hands extend towards him with all sorts of lighters. ONE grabs a bunch but the first two won't even ignite but finally the table is in flames! ONE climbs to the apron, dragging Konoe with him. ONE grabs Konoe by the throat in an effort to chokeslam him through the table when suddenly.. http://sadhappy.mbnet.fi/WEXX/Shimpei.jpg Hirose Shimpei runs from the back, armed with a fire extinquisher, screaming for ONE to stop this madness! ONE looks confused and doesn't seem to care as he hoists Konoe up but then Shimpei sprays him with the fire extinquisher, momentarily blinding him! ONE drops Konoe to the apron and Hirose starts aiming for the table that's on fire.. WHEN SUDDENLY KONOE GRABS ONE AND DRIVES THEM BOTH THROUGH THE FLAMING TABLE WITH THE ANIMALISTIC GORE!! Hirose looks in disbelief as his efforts of de-escalating the situation have taken a horrible turn. The show ends with Hirose's fire extinquisher letting a final, short comedic squirt as a night of chaos comes to a close. Hirose has grabbed a chair and tries to sneak in a hit to the new-comer with it but ONE just boots it right across Hirose's face to a huge pop! ONE picks up the fallen chair and after a small hesitation, hits Hirose to the back with it. It looks as if he hasn't used any sort of weaponry in his long career and with each chair shot, he seems to be liking it more and more. Hirose rolls out of the ring to escape ONE's onslaught but that gives the challenger time to search for new weapons. Soon the ringside is filled with lighttubes, barbedwire boards, thumbtacks and coils of barbedwire. Utemaro: "He looks like a kid in a candy shop!" Hirose slowly gathers momentum though as he's had time to recover. The resistance proves futile as, to Hirose's surprise, the big man weathers everything Hirose throws at him, almost no-selling some of the stuff. At the ten minute mark, Hirose tried to get the Mountain Sleeper on ONE but couldn't really held on to the heavyweight and instead ONE got the upper hand with a thundering uppercut that left Hirose reeling on the turnbuckle. The match end came with a stunning Flatterer (Double Underhook Facebuster) off the top rope through a barbed wire table to get the pinfall and crown a new WEXX Warrior's Spirit champion. In a superb match, ONE defeated Shimpei Hirose in a Deathmatch II match in 10:12 by pinfall with The Flattener (Double Underhook Facebuster). ONE wins the WEXX Warrior's Spirit title.
