  2. Thought so but I mean, c'mon, they are all in suits anyways. Also people should know who they are.
  3. This isn't Youtube where you have monetized content and stuff like likes, subs etc.. Just have fun. Also, play Cornellverse. Much more fun and balanced.

Fairly forgettable match through and through. In a bout that had a decent reaction from the crowd but terrible wrestling, Kaito Doan defeated Ritsu Ibata, War Piece and Soshitsu Tsujimoto in a Deathmatch II in 7:55 when Kaito Doan submitted War Piece with a Stretch Muffler. THE PEAK BROTHERS WEXX Blood Brothers Championships Tables Match The crowd couldn't believe their eyes when The Peak Brothers came through the curtains! Same could be said about Brothers In Vengeance, although their appearance in WEXX was only a matter of time (and money). The hype quickly backfired though as it become crystal clear that the one opponent they could never beat, time itself, had taken the upper hand on all the combatants. Not only were they really old, their bodies were so frail that the match was contested in very vanilla Tables style without almost any deathmatch feel to it which the crowd obviously hated. In a bout that had great heat and decent wrestling, Brothers In Vengeance defeated The Peak Brothers in a Tables match in 5:45; Eddie Peak was eliminated first, then Battle Sakata, and finally Doug Peak. TAHEIJI KONOE WEXX Warrior's Spirit Championship Inferno Tables Deathmatch Konoe and Makioka tore the house down with one of the greatest Deathmatches of the promotions short history in the nights main event. The gimmick of the flaming tables didn't even distract the attention from the fantastic wrestling the two provided - the match had it all. In the end, Konoe managed to set up a table leaning towards the corner, set it on fire and Gored Makioka brutally through it to end the fast paced, steal the show match, thus becoming the new WEXX Warrior's Spirit champion! In an exceptional match, Taheiji Konoe defeated Zeshin Makioka in a Inferno Tables Deathmatch in 8:52 by flaming table break with Animalistic Gore. Taheiji Konoe wins the WEXX Warrior's Spirit title. An injured Hirose left the ring in a hurry whilst Makioka ordered his proteges to hold Konoe for him, but then Hirose and Makioka started brawling outside the ring when Hirose stopped Makioka from getting weapons. This gave Konoe time to recover as he managed to free himself, then giving Animalistic Gores to Makioka's henchmen in the ring as the show came to an end. 7. Don't get the indy darlings or the most popular guys. Get a few just for the pop gain and merchandise benefits but mostly - sign unemployed. Build your own talent, establish good backstage morale and inspire loyalty. Make your promotions yours, not just a copy of something else.
  8. <p>Well that's odd. I was so excited for this diary but I think I really, really have to make it different from my previous work. Since I started the diary, I've only advanced one week in-game. Whereas before, the two years in-game time went by like a blast. This diary has totally halted my amazing save and I'm not sure I want that to happen.</p><p> </p><p> So I'm probably trying something new with the diary. More from the behind-the-scenes, watcher-esque kinda thing and not kayfabe-storyline thing. As it is still in it's heart, a RTG save. Match write-ups and angles are quite boring in the end and I had such a white hot momentum going on in that game that it would be shame for it to slow down the way it did.</p><p> </p><p> So yeah. I might be done with the whole "guess the card", full show write-ups. It's just too much work tbh. Inventing storylines (sure I have storylines in-game but it's so much more when you have to write promos etc.), booking logically.</p><p> </p><p> Just a heads up. <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/smile.png.142cfa0a1cd2925c0463c1d00f499df2.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /> Not quitting the diary, but it'll be a different one for me for sure.</p>
  9. I never have written shows beforehand. I've played them maybe a week or two forwards but I never have anything written stored, like content for several shows. I write the next show, publish it, maybe advance game a week or two, then start writing on the next etc.
  10. Play the save atleast half a year or even a year forward. Don't worry about the future. Or worry, but know that worrying is as effective as trying to solve an algebra equation by chewing Bubble gum. Save every bit of text, info, email. You'll regret it if you delete any info. I know I have. Wear sunscreen. Follow other people's diaries. You'll might find them motivating and you'll be inspired by them. Don't feel guilty if you don't know what you want to do with your life. Make the game world alive. Tidbits here and there. Every save is unique in it's own ways. The more time passed, the more different the world will become. In my save, US wrestling industry is at 2 and has caused multiple promotions to collapse. Accept certain inalienable truths - prices will rise, politicians will philander, you too, will get old. Put effort into the graphical style of your diary. Be careful whose advice you buy but be patient with those who supply it, but trust me on the sunscreen.
  11. PM'd you. Instructions are on the very first post quite clearly. However I doubt that they'll work with an on-going save, unfortunately. You might have to alter them to your promotion one by one.

A good prospect, he's everything a modern worker should be - he's athletic, agile, and well-versed in both grappling and striking. He's particularly noted for using a lot of knee strikes in his ring work, including his finisher which is a brutal running knee to the side of a downed opponent's head. Even though a True Born BCG prospect, Kubo controversially walked out on the promotion after a major fallout with BCG's new Head Booker PRIDE Koiso (BCG founder Yoshifusa Maeda died in March 2020 after which WEXXV alumni Motoichi Arakida took over the company and replaced then head booker Masayuki Shiga with PRIDE Koiso). Following the ownership change, several other talented BCG workers have either quit, walked out or signed with BHOTWG (SUKI, Mabuchi Furusawa, Tanyu Toshusai & Big Bruiser Findlay). http://sadhappy.mbnet.fi/WEXX/Sumiyuki.jpg Sumiyuki Samura, 23, Toned Lightweight, High Flyer Cocky Young Talent (Great), Warm, D- Sumiyuki Samura is a young Japanese talent who came through the WWA: Japan training facility. He started working the independent circuit in 2017 and quickly gained attention for his natural charisma, showmanship, and high flying move set. A perfect match for EXODUS 2010, it was no surprise that they swooped in and signed him in the summer of 2018. Samura has fit onto the roster perfectly and is definitely someone the company have high hopes for. Back in February 2020, Sumiyuki suffered a Strained Rotator Cuff after a botched move from Tatsu Kajahara and was out for almost three months. After starting a fight over the injury and souring the backstage morale, WEXX decided to fire the injured Samura over the incident. This incident was only the first of many to come in the following years, as WEXX head booker Tatsu Kajahara became known to rule the promotion with iron fist. Yet, after 1½ years, Samura was approached again and it seems that bygons are bygones. WEXX RECOGNISABLE http://sadhappy.mbnet.fi/WEXX/Hidetoshi.jpg Hidetoshi Chino, 21, Heavyweight, Psychopath Bloodthirsty Killer (Very Good), Warm, F+ Torn Quad (2 Months) Hidetoshi Chino is a Psychopath, trained at Project Arkham School, who turned pro in May 2020. He is 6'4 and 308lbs and is superb as a heel. He comes across as a swaggering, cocky character. He utilises the 'Running High Knee' as a finisher. Is currently out with a Torn Quad and thus had to relinguish his WEXX Blood Brothers championship belt, as Kinji Akamatsu replaced him, continuing his and Kubo's reign as the tag champs. http://sadhappy.mbnet.fi/WEXX/Kaito.jpg Kaito Doan, 21, Toned Lightweight, Technician Flyer The Work of Art (Great), Cold, E- "The Work Of Art" Kaito Doan is a rising star of Japanese wrestling who came through WLW's Project Arkham School, making his professional debut for them in 2018. Initially used as a young boy, Doan soon showed enough promise that he was allowed to express himself more freely - adopting a hyper-hyper-hyper swaggering persona, Doan is rapidly turning into one of the most entertaining solo acts in the entire company. Still very inexperienced, WLW are nonetheless very clearly starting the process of grooming him for a top spot one day. http://sadhappy.mbnet.fi/WEXX/Koichi.jpg Koichi Kajiwara, 46, Bulky Heavyweight, Powerhouse Disgruntled Employee (Awful), Cooled, E- Owner & Road Agent of WEXX Koichi Kajiwara is a former professional rugby player from Japan who moved to wrestling after a bad knee injury ended his playing career. He has a big, thick 275lb physique that gives him a powerful edge and a lot of his ring style is based around him simply running through opponents using raw strength. The downside to him is that his knee injury has seriously reduced his mobility and he is often criticised for being too one-dimensional in his work. He joined WEXXV in April 2007 and quickly established himself as a solid member of the roster, notably as a death match worker (winning the King Of Death Matches title three times) and in the tag team ranks where his "Forlorn Hope" tag team with Zeshin Makioka won the tag team straps twice. He occasionally works the independent scene post-WEXXV, but his bum knee looks likely to see him retire sooner rather than later. Worked several matches in 2020 but now makes only sporadical appearances in-ring. http://sadhappy.mbnet.fi/WEXX/Sen.jpg Sen Kita, 25, Toned Big Heavyweight, Regular Wrestler Bad Ass (Very Good), Chilly, E- Sen Kita is a Regular Wrestler, trained at Tokyo Wrestling Dojo, who turned pro in September 2020. Formed extremely entertaining "Rebel Cell" tag team with Sotan Morimoto. http://sadhappy.mbnet.fi/WEXX/Tatsu.jpg Tatsu Kajahara, 20, Muscular Light Heavyweight, Hardcore Wrestler Extremist (Legendary), Chilly, E- Head Booker of WEXX. Tatsu Kajahara is the Head Booker of WEXX and the grandson of Ryu Kajahara, founder of WEXXV. Not much is known about Tatsu yet, other than that he seems to possess amazing eye for hardcore matches and has the charisma of his grandfather. The future looks promising, if he can stay healthy. http://sadhappy.mbnet.fi/WEXX/WEXXbanner.jpg </div><img style="max-width:100%;"
  14. Could it stop before it even starts? Nah. No worries yet of anything stopping, come back in a few months. ps. Updated the images, thanks!
  15. I might just use those Zeshin, Shimpei and Eiichi re-renders, thank you. I do like default Tobei though. Thanks!
  16. Taheiji's SQ went from 76 to 87 so a whopping 11 points improvement Sex appeal +7, Menace +5.
  17. Forgot to mention that he buffed up from Toned to Muscular and his SQ, Sex Appeal and Menace skyrocketed I think he's without a doubt one of the all time underrated workers in Cornellverse. Also huge thanks to each and everyone of you who've commented or even just viewed the diary! I'm hoping that I won't be burned out with this diary as has happened with so many earlier projects. As some of you have noticed, this is also my RtG save so I've got Owner Goals on and an active wrestler UC, which I usually don't have. I've now also upgraded the overall look of the diary posts, hope you guys like the improved graphics. I'll be doing some of the roster overall posts this week and then finally the first diary show will be Beginning Of The End 2022 in the near future.

D+ WEXX Warrior's Spirit Champion 2 Time WEXX Warrior's Spirit Champion Current reign 449 days, 15 successful title defences Zeshin Makioka is a brawler who is best known for his lengthy run with WEXXV. Originally trained by WLW (although he left before officially graduating), when he first started out he was a skinny high flyer with a shock of bright yellow hair. It was after he was forced to sit out the latter half of 2010 with an injury that he morphed into his current persona, returning with his hair back to its natural colour, a good 40lbs of bulk added to his frame, and a brawling style that was far more effective than his old 'spot monkey' style. One of WEXXV's most reliable workers in terms of producing solid matches, it was no surprise that after their closure he was much in demand, eventually signing with Pro Wrestling SAISHO. http://sadhappy.mbnet.fi/WEXX/Tobei.jpg Tobei Sugimura, 35, Muscular Lightweight, Technician Flyer Martial Artist (Legendary), Hot. D- Tobei Sugimura is a junior heavyweight from Japan. When he first broke into the business (via the PGHW dojo) he was extremely skinny, sported bright blue hair, and most of the time was used as little more than an enhancement talent. Realising that he was getting nowhere in a hurry, Sugimura went on hiatus throughout 2010 in order to regroup and when he returned he had increased his muscle mass substantially, shaved off his ridiculous hair, and had swapped his gaudy yellow trunks for black martial arts pants and painted-on symbols on his face and body. The new look worked, as he found work with EXODUS 2010 almost immediately. In 2015 he added SAISHO to his list of employers, showing how in demand he is. A solid, reliable worker, he's perfect for any company's midcard. http://sadhappy.mbnet.fi/WEXX/Taheiji.jpg Taheiji Konoe, 35, Muscular Middleweight, Brawler Bad Ass (Legendary), Red Hot. D Former WEXX Warrior's Spirit Champion Taheiji "The Animal" Konoe got his nickname early in his career when his savage intensity became apparent. That attitude got him signed by WEXXV in 2006 and he soon got his first taste of gold when he and his tag team partner Munemitsu Sematsu, collectively known as The Pack, defeated The Peak Brothers to win the WEXXV Blood Brothers tag team belts. Unfortunately for Konoe the team was disbanded shortly after in order to give Senmatsu a big solo push and he was shunted down the card. Konoe continued to work hard and eventually got his rewards when he won the Warrior's Heart title, completing the WEXXV 'triple crown', and did so by defeating his ex-partner in a highly emotional bout. Post-WEXXV, Konoe has been working the independent scene, his death match image apparently putting off any of the big companies from hiring him despite the fact that he's clearly a talented worker. Konoe found his way home in May 2020. http://sadhappy.mbnet.fi/WEXX/Shimpei.jpg Shimpei Hirose, 31, Bulky Lightweight, Brawler Global Superstar (Adequate), Very Warm. D+ Injured (Torn Rotator Cuff, 4 months) Shimpei Hirose is a charismatic Japanese competitor who is closely associated with EXODUS 2010, where he has been since their very first show. More of a brawler than anything else, Hirose likes to use lots of strikes to batter away at his opponents before putting them away with his Mountain Sleeper finisher. He has become particularly known for his tag team work alongside Commander Kawagishi, as the duo have been one of the most dominant forces in EX2010 over the past decade and are multi-time tag champions. http://sadhappy.mbnet.fi/WEXX/Eiichi.jpg Eiichi Umehara, 35, Muscular Middleweight, Regular Wrestler Crazy Man (Poor), Very Hot. D- Injured (Broken Ankle, out for a month) Eiichi Umehara first came to 'fame' working for WLW under a mask as Firestarter EU, but was eventually let go after failing to get over. Desperate to resurrect his career, he resurfaced in Pro Wrestling SAISHO under his real name and without the mask, apparently looking for a way to get onto the main PGHW roster. That quest proved to be fruitless as he never really caught on with SAISHO and he ended up leaving them quietly in 2007. In 2013 he returned to the spotlight, signing a deal with WEXXV. Umehara fit in well and, while never a major star, did get a reign as King Of Death Matches, his first ever professional title. Since WEXXV went out of business Umehara has been steadily working the independent scene and looking for another chance to make his mark, which he got in March 2021 when he was hired by WEXX. http://sadhappy.mbnet.fi/WEXX/WEXXbanner.jpg </div><img style="max-width:100%;"
  19. I never use that. Just feature them in strong segments, that's all. Also it's not an exploit - it hinders the match rating. I suggest hiring a couple superstars to aid with the overall level of your roster.

"You.. You sold out." http://sadhappy.mbnet.fi/WEXX/Koichi.jpg Koichi: "Calm down kid. No, I did not sold out. We're going to have death matches in the future too, trust me. We just need to tone it down a notch." Tatsu: "Tone it down!? Is that knee of yours bothering again? What are you talking about!?" Koichi: "It's the same product your grandpa ran before WEXXV closed. You can call it "Gory Hardcore". It's not pure Deathmatch but it has a lot in common. We can't afford to have our main eventers out injured throughout the year like this." Tatsu: "Aren't you forgetting that the surgery went fine, Shimpei will return in no time. One torn rotator cuff and suddenly you're all jelly?" Koichi: "Now listen here you litt-.. Koichi grabbed some papers that were lying on the desk and started shouting at me. "Fine, here's a list - Broken jaw, another broken jaw, - and no, before you ask, these aren't even yours - badly herniated disc, strained rotator cuff.." Tatsu: "..." Koichi: ".. Broken arm, dislocated shoulder, torn rotator cuff, broken fingers.." Tatsu: "These things happen. Alright?" Koichi: "Broken tail bone, broken fingers, broken toe.." Tatsu: ".. Yeah, so? Minor stuff, you can work through tho-" Koichi: ".. And those were only the people who have left WEXX!", Koichi slammed the papers back down on the desk. Koichi took a deep breath. "Look kid. I know you want go out on a blaze of glory, flying through flaming exploding tables while wrapped in barbed wire. But you and the other young talent in our company have two decades ahead of you. Not only that, also we might, just might be able to get on TV and PPV some day, you know, when the time comes." "You out of all people should know that it's not fun being on the sidelines or even working injured. Not only that, there's been several fights backstage. Eiichi and Nobuyuki, Kinji and Sotan, Tobei and Eiichi and Zeshin still holds grudges against Ritsu and you over those botches." "This will only improve backstage morale in the long run, trust me. Also speaking about that - have you forgotten that we still have quite a few wrestlers on the roster that won't agree to death matches? This way we can utilize their skills even better and thus people won't complain when they are left out of the shows or just being used in angles. It's a win-win situation Tatsu, trust me." Tatsu: "Win-win.. .. Pffft." I knew he was right, I was just being childish that day. I just felt that the timing was odd. Just when we were starting to get some momentum going he decides to change the product ever so slightly.. And it's not like all the injuries are going to magically disappear though.. As suspected, within the first month, we made a loss of -4K. Hosting one annual show and four weekly shows with just 30-40 in attendance, even with just barebones crew, was quite expensive. We quickly doubled-down on our marketing strategy: Let's lower the prices, making the tickets very cheap.
