  1. Wow we got a proper wrestling war in Quebec going down. Excited to see what kind of matches the Vachons will be putting up! Also curious which wrestlers defected from Rougeau. Will this lead to the end of Quebec wrestling?
  2. Rollins as a character is awful too. His matches are usually well done. But everything else has been subpar. He works best as a Weasley heel to me.
  3. That would also be useful for when a battle royal takes place where the last two go into a singles match. Or a way to simulate a tag team battle royal.
  4. More emphasis needs to be placed on The personalities of wrestlers. If fans care about the person they can do a duplex and people will go ape shit. WWE has been doing well with this recently. On a related note I enjoye how they’ve been hyping the rumble. Feels 1992 ish to me with so many possible winners.

  7. That's certainly possible. If you're okay with people debuting later on with higher skills and popularity (among other disparities) than a normal new gen or are fine with fixing up all the workers to make the issues null and void. If either of those options are appealing to you, go for it! Mind you alot of default database workers are indeed in the file, but there have been a certain amount taken out.
  8. For belts I like to have a unique strap. I never understood the purpose in kayfabe why anyone would want an Intercontinental type Title. It has the same parameters as the World Title. You could do a weight limited title, a specific stipulation title (special rule, 15 min time limit, Iron Man, etc, a TV Title is the go to idea since that title could be defended each week and with each title win either the winner could receive a bonus or if they hit a certain number of successful defenses they could get a World Title match.
  9. That WWWF World Title looks pretty! Poor ladies, it was time for some turnover in AGWA anyway so this helps shake things up out west.
  10. Was unsure where this question would go so I thought I'd post it here. Why does it seem like companies in 2020 gain and keep exuberant amounts of money compared to 2016?
  11. This is glorious, my eyes are happy looking at this.
  12. I think this Champion retains on a DQ rule needs to be called into question.
  13. Two months removed from update 2.1 and with a lot more work to do making AI Renders for the Database, here's an update on some of the new additions coming with update 2.2. Besides the inclusion of AI Renders, multiple inactive promotions have been added to the database including, Pacific Championship Athletics, All-Star Wrestling, Kirby Rogers Booking Office, Mid-America Sports, Montgomery Wrestling Club, Tennessee Wrestling Authority, White Rose Wrestling, World Wrestling Associates, and National Japanese Wrestling Federation. Here's some more details on some of these promotions. World Wrestling Associates (WWA) World Wrestling Associates was a promotion based on the Alliance that had been a force in the wrestling industry since the turn of the century. When the Alliance fell apart in the mid-50's Tooter Manley coalesced promotions out of the mid-west into one company that was the World Wrestling Associates. The top title remained the prestigious WWA World Heavyweight Championship. But Manley's promoting skills were subpar leading to disappointing results and back office shenanigans that eventually led to the dissolution of the promotion in the early 60's. Afterwards a discouraged Tooter Manley solely focused on his training school the American School of Wrestling. All Star Wrestling (ASW) All-Star Wrestling out of Houston can be traced back to the early 20th century. Cards were consistently put on through the years in Houston and close towns nearby. All-Star got it's name in the early 1950's when promoter Goldie Siegel got TV for the promotion. ASW became a hot ticket in the country, even during the down turn of the late 1950's. The success seen by promotion during this period was in part due to an agreement Siegel had with a few other promoters throughout Texas to keep outlaws at bay. Following the relationship falling apart in the early 60's when promoters let their ego's get the better of themselves and attempted to expand through the whole state. That is when the infamous 'Texas Wrestling War' began. This led to the end of all wrestling promotions in the area due to large amount of hotshotting in a short period of time. ASW was the last one to fold in 1966 ending 40 years of history. Kirby Rogers Booking Office (KRBO) The Kirby Rogers Booking Office, opened by Rogers in 1940 became the dominant force in the New England territory with Rogers' leading the charge. Being a big star in the area helped him hold tight control over the region, with connections to some State Governments. KRBO became a key member of the World Wrestling Alliance through to it's final years. The promotion helped start the careers of stars like Vernon Wales, Giant Graham, Donnie the Battler, among others. Former protege of Rogers, Gene Plumelli challenged the New England Monopoly taking the heart of the territory in Boston following a few year war in the early 60's. Other towns were able to sustain Rogers through the battles. But this was a cold war and eventually KRBO cracked up and closed in 1967. Tennessee Wrestling Authority (TWA) The Tennessee Wrestling Authority ran by Whitey Downing was in business from 1960-1972. Showing off his promoting skills following retirement, Whitey managed to run a tight ship. Making big profits for himself and becoming known as a low payoff man for all but Main Eventers. He would always make sure his Main Eventers were taken care of, even given some of them a piece of the territory. His frugality led to the promotions downfall, when well respected partial owner of the promotion Mark Krogan found out Whitey was lying about houses to keep money for himself. Krogan led an exodus from the promotion in 1971. Following it's closure Whitey Downing signed with SWF to get them a foothold in the area. ------------------- Along with these inactive promotions, two new active promotions have been added to the American Wrestling scene. One out of the Great Lakes ran by Howard Sunnacker (fka Howard Coyne) and the other out of the North West run by a worker added in the new update called Ernie Todd. These promotions were created to add more variety and substance to the data. In the Great Lakes, Howard has an affinity for hiring older talent with the idea they'll bring big houses. While in Ernie Todd's case he tries to keep costs as low as possible and is known as quite the swindler and manipulator. He will go after the misfits of wrestling and was once close with Papa Bear Reilly who was his big star. Papa Bear left Ernie in 1975 to start his promotion Black Bear Promotions (fka Wyoming State Wrestling). Great Lakes Sports Club (GLSC) Home to the stars of the Great Lakes triad of Michigan, Ohio, and Indiana. The star territory of the industrial Heart of America was a hot bed for many years. Seeing the likes of Bruise Borowski, Strong Man Boris, Minnesota Mauler, Alexei Komaroff, among other stars ply their craft in the promotion. Promoter Howard Sunnacker brought in reputable talent to create must see shows in the 1960's. His routine eventually led to burn out from the local crowds who got tired of the same old talent each show. GLSC continues to host shows with aging wrestlers all over them which continues to lower attendance as years progress. Ernie Todd Pacific Wrestling (ETPW) Opened by "Snowman" Ernie Todd in the early 1960's following his retirement from in-ring competition. Coming out of Portland, Oregon the promotion was able to gain notoriety throughout the 1960's with exciting match ups and innovative promotions by Todd a former carnival peformer. Todd relied too heavily on low pay outs and swindling his wrestlers around, resulting in most wrestlers avoiding working for him. As the 70's has gone along the promotion has fallen into a dire state that may spell the end for Ernie Todd's promotion.
  14. I've never heard of Danny Reilly before. Gonna need to look into him after this big win.
  15. This was a journey @CGN91 glad to have seen the evolution of your baby through two generations of TEW. Thanks for enjoyable shows and readings over the years with WCG it was a dynasty I looked forward to checking out each time there was a new post. I can understand the disappointment you feel about losing this save. These circumstances have reminded me to download my saves and databases onto a USB.
  16. Let us not forget Kylie Rae did heart tweets regarding this. And AEW hasn’t outright denied anything or called it ridiculous.
  17. Updated AI Renders 1. Dragon Agakawa 2. Gabriel FitzGerald 3. George DeColt 4. Hanshiro Furusawa ager 5. Kermit Kander 6. Spencer Marks ager 7. Spencer Marks 8. Vernon Wales
  18. Andrade likely does return to WWE but doubt he’ll be the guy they’re hyping for tonight. I’m guessing tonight will be the Batista HOF announcement.
