  1. For me, the Women’s War Games was the worst thing on the show. Felt very sloppy. Gunther v Miz was my favorite match, that near fall Miz had off the low blow got me. Santos v Lee was ok, Zoey v Rhea was forgettable. Zoey had no chance going in and had no fans on her side so it was weird that she was chosen as the opponent. The men’s war games was average for me. Nothing special, the things I remember most are Balors shiny towel, a sloppy 3d from Jey and Sami, and Orton and Jeys interaction. Thought the show was below average overall but it is really how you leave them and the Punk return really blew the lid off things. If someone were to watch it a year from now it would probably be rated lower than it is now. side note: I got a pet peeve with the war games matches just being a cage match where weapons get brought in. First of I think it needs a ceiling. Why wouldn’t a heel just exit the ring if not? Nothing happens if they forfeit. Also I find it bizarre that WWE says no to blood cause it’s “self mutilation”, but they allow people to actually be hit with weapons where you see welts and sore on the people’s bodies. Makes no sense to me. Blading seems safer than half the stuff people are doing these days.
  2. Time to watch RAW live Monday. My cousin who only will ever watch a PPV on occasion said he's gonna check out RAW now to see what happens with Punk. WWE is scalding hot!!
  3. I was sold that Punk not gonna be back Saturday and then Living Colour drops a cult of personality remaster. Whenever I think it’s a no then a new hint drops. I have no idea at this point.
  4. Main Event Singles Match FCW Puerto Rican Championship Frederique w/ Clare South vs. Mutant (c) Mutant was highlighted last show in one of the only angles, so I see him as one of the higher level babyfaces. Him losing right after proclaiming to be a fighting champion would be a big hit for him. Meanwhile Fredrique is already one of the US Tag Champs, so a singles loss is okay for him. Semi Main Event Singles Match Texas Death Match Kip Keenan vs. Giant Brody Always bet on the Giant! Singles Match Future Shot at the Puerto Rican Championship Ox Mastadon vs. Handsome Stranger w/ Clare South It's Puerto Rico, so Handsome will go over. Plus, Mutant beating his partner earlier in the night writes the story for it self. Singles Match FCW People's Championship "The Jackhammer" Joffy Laine vs. Xavi Ferrera (c) w/ Clare South This is 50/50 for me, could go either way. Singles Match USAce vs. Hell's Bouncer Opening Match Tag Team Match The Gonzalez Family vs. Young & Wasted The Gonzalez Family feel like they could be future tag title contenders. So I go with them for the win on this night.
  5. The Miz/Guther promo did a really good job of trying to get people to cheer for Miz. Shows off Gunther's excellent bully charisma. He's great at pushing people around. Gunther will 100% win I have no doubt. Seems like Ludvig may be his next challenger in my opinion.
  6. 1. KATOU vs. Tanyu Toshusai 2. Koshiro Ino vs. Pavel Vanzycha 3. Brandon Smith vs. Munemitsu Senmatsu 4. Maro Shimizu vs. Fujio Narahashi 5. Logan Diaz vs. Animal Harker 6. Morimasa Kato vs. Tatsuya Toshitara 7. Yasunobu Masuno vs. SUKI 8. Motoyuki Miyake vs. Hitomaro Suzuki Guessing on feeling, Suzuki is one of your top guys, if Miyake can win then this could be a career making performance in the tournament. But he did just defeat Razan so I could see him losing and going into something with Razan. Maybe with Razan being disappointed that he immediately lost, or wanting to redeem his loss.
  7. Awesome work Idol, that Alpha Female in particular is bloody good.
  8. Main Event Tag Team Match COTT United States Tag Team Championship The Wild Cats vs. Hostile Takeover © w/ Clare South Semi Main Event Tag Team Match FCW Tag Team Championship The Island Boys vs. Relentless © w/ Clare South Singles Match Ox Mastadon vs. Hell’s Bouncer Trios Match Future Shot at COTT World Six Man Championship The Latino Kings vs. House of Handsome [Ferrera, Jones, Dreadnought] w/ Clare South Tag Team Match The Gonzalez Family vs. The Harlem Knights Opening Match Singles Match “The Jackhammer” Joffy Laine vs. “The Triple Threat” Davis Wayne Newton I am so amped you have a new dynasty my dude. You are an excellent writer and I am excited to see what you do with FCW.
  9. Some updated Flame Brother renders I conjured up from Bing Image Creator. Circa 1977.
  10. Is it just me or is this blurry? Anyone know how to clear the render up?
  11. Here's a classic Ric Flair inspired render. Mixing his 70's mustache with his 80's style hair.
  12. CV 77 2.1 Update -The PCA North American Tag Team Titles have been added as historical belts from Ron Steele’s San Francisco Company (Pacific Championship Athletics) that went under in 1970. These Titles were worn by teams such as, The Mississippians, The Masked Maulers, Chief Pepper Tree & Yahoo Strongbear, Emil & Rafael Torres, and The Masquitz Brothers. -New Workers added Sydney Bratt (Ann.), Robert Wessie (Ann.), Captain Cal Everett Howard (Man./R.A.), Ricardo Erellando (Man.) Dolores McGuire (Wres./Man.), Doris Bellantini (Wrest.), Eugi Herzog (Ref), Johnny LaReece (Ref/R.A.), Asatoro Zatara (Ref), Tetsahori Terahashi (Ref), Hiroe Tomoe (R.A.), Lorenzo Martino (Wrest.), Lin Zhao (Wrest.), Paul Quinn (Ann.), Masaru Ito (Ref), Yoshitaka Morimoto (Ref), Bob Song (Ref), Naoki Mori (Ref.), Joshua Trager (Wrest.), Pantera Roja (Wrest.), Mike Brown (Ref.), Akira Ishida (Ref.) -Changed the name of Eric Graves to Bulldog Blatz. In addition, changed small details within WIW including items related to Joey Margarita, the Kuhaulua family, and the booking style of Nakana & Kai to be more frugal. This is to help with the explanation of why Hawaii has such an unknown limited roster, as opposed to the stacked roster they had in the 1960’s and early 70’s. -YPWW has been updated with a new manager Ricardo Erellano as “Fang” for The Basilisk & Venom Nakamoto. Okichi Nakamoto’s name in the promotion is now Venom Okamoto and their team name is Poison Gals. More tag teams have been added all together to the promotion with the addition of tag team titles. The titles are called the WWA World Women Tag Team Titles. This is based off of JWW having the WWA World Women’s Title. YPWW retaliated due to growing hostilities creating their own belt with the WWA governing name. This has no lineage to the alliance that existed prior to 1956 like the WWA World Women’s Title does. -Added injury histories for multiple workers to match their bios. -The California Tag Team Titles have an updated lineage. They now have 20 previous holders since they have debuted in 1972. -Some Japanese names have been updated, duplicates have been removed, and all profile pics added to workers thanks to assistance from Dr. Grizzly. She let me know which names were issues to be fixed and has been added to credit page on the right side of the data editor. -Tokyo City Championship Combat or TC3 has been altered into Tokyo Championship Combat or TCC. Kien Shih & Ref Shih are now of Chinese origin. Lin Zhao is also apart of the promotion. A sparring partner of Kien, he along with Vladamir Nezorov were key members in the promotion. Lin & Vlad had a falling out in 1976 that led to Vlad’s exit. ***ATTENTION*** This upcoming update marks the final installment featuring the current style of renders. Moving forward, all subsequent updates will incorporate AI-rendered images into the database, gradually replacing the original renders. Willr0ck has dedicated significant effort to employ AI techniques, so the update of CV77 workers is both quality and efficient. Additionally, I have obtained permission to include AI renders from Waltersobchak, John Lions, Arlovski, and Hollywoodshinebox in the next update. These, alongside AI renders I've personally created, will debut in the next release. I am enthusiastic about contributing to the progression of CV77 as the database enters a new era, starting with Update 2.2.
  13. But nothing recently happened with Starks that would indicate a switch right?
  14. Sammy I think would head over to TNA. I could see WWE passing over him for his style in the ring. As I believe Self mentioned he struggles to be a babyface or a heel. That’s what WWE is built. He is a better fit for an Indy minded company. As for Starks, I’ve seen that opinion multiple times recently. Did something happen that started this speculation?
