Nobody else will have a chance if Great Shiva and Kevin Yash are around. You're not wrong about them being hard to add though, I looked around a bit a few months ago and there's so little info on anyone. Might DM Suryataker and ask him if he can help out <img alt=":D" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/biggrin.png.929299b4c121f473b0026f3d6e74d189.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> I know a guy who worked as a trainer for Great Kali's school over there. He's @REALEthanHD on Twitter, he might be able to point you in the right direction.</p>
  2. SPOILERS From Today's AEW Event: Lee Moriarty has signed with AEW.
  3. You got the right pic pack for the data you're using (GIF Edition for GIFs, JPG Edition for JPG)?

Updating RWC right now feels like making a fantasy mod.</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> I've said it before (perhaps not here) that wrestling since the creation of AEW is like reading someone's TEW diary. Literally the old trope of a wrestling fan with a lot of money starts a promotion and hires all his favorite wrestlers and indy darlings! Nick F'N GAGE had a death match on TNT against Chris Jericho, for pete's sake! We got Gangrel on PPV (and until the WWE decided to do the Brood thing with Edge, would have seen him make a TV return). Christian returned to wrestling after a long absence due to injury and wrestled Kenny Omega for a World title! CM Punk returned to wrestling after a 7 year absence and loves wrestling again! The spoilers from last night happened! Absolutely crazy pants times for pro wrestling!</p>
  5. SPOILERS From All Out: Bryan Danielson Ruby Soho AND Adam Cole (who aligned with The Elite) Are All Elite! And we're getting Minoru Suzuki vs. Jon Moxley on Dynamite.
  6. Kayla Rossi debuted on today's episode of AEW Dark aligning with Joey Janela. Rossi is a friend of Jade Cargill that was training at the Nightmare Factory. She's not as tall as Jade, but same type of solid muscular build. She powerbombed Robert Anthony (fka Egotistico Fantastico) after the match. And is part of the Hardy Family Office in AEW using a 'reluctant heel' type gimmick (this is all part of a storyline where Matt Hardy offered to help Jora with staying in the US, but only if he joined the HFO 'on the bottom rung, washing the HFO's laundry, and doing other menial tasks' for the group, so he still shows babyface stylings in his ringwork while the HFO members "managing" him berate and abuse him).
  7. TJPW's Dojo is also where they filmed the Japanese portion of AEW's women's tourney, and as hbkmog has said, is where Yuka and many other Joshi talent AEW has used has came from. Speaking of, ASUKA. can probably be renamed VENY (with ASUKA as an alter-ego in SEAdLINNNG and promotions where they still use the name). This would make finding her easier to find in the worker list.
  8. I put simmering tension between Ace/Prichard and Triple H, and loyalty between Ace/Prichard and Vince McMahon. Let them fight it out.

The linked "JPG" version is made for using the "Brand Spankin New Pic Pack™" made by LukkeArthur and Devil Cyborg, while the linked "GIF" version uses the "NLGifs" pic pack. Just pick the one that works with the pic pack you want to use!</p>
  10. One fun thing I did with Evil Spirit in TEW16 was find another japanese worker of the same weight class and build, put a mask on the guy, set his profile pic to a mirrored one of Evil Spirit, and named him "Wandering Spirit". I renamed Evil Spirit to "Cursed Spirit" and made them a supernatural tag team called "The Night Parade". The idea being that they looked so similar under the mask and gimmick they could pull twin spots and also do supernatural stuff with them. They had a great run in my american based indy.
  11. So, I created a school based in Québec in the game to test this, set the school to graduate in January, started a game unemployed, and multi-advanced to Feb. The students were named: Aubin Girard Berangaria Mirabeau Cherrelle Rameau Chevalier Grenier Jean-François Cavour Joshua Plotcheck Karoly Delaitre Norman Death But none speak French, only English.
  12. What the workers in the match are more highly rated on together (either match quality or popularity) gives 60% of the match rating, while the other provides 40%. So two extremely popular but poor wrestlers having a match will be rated 60% on their popularity and 40% on match quality. Two unknown but skilled wrestlers having a match will be rated 60% on their match quality and 40% on their popularity. So the best talents for your promotion would be guys who are both popular and skilled, as they're rated on both.
  13. Lobo Blanco and Evil Spirit are two guys who find themselves on my rosters at higher than random frequency. Both are fairly average guys, but I dig Evil Spirit being an average puroresu wrestler who's trying to break out by character work. And Lobo, well, I like wolves, and I like old school lucha, so an old school looking luchador named "White Wolf" has to be a winner somehow, right?
  14. Regarding Push versus Perception, try starting your own promotion and pre-booking or even planning your first card. In 2016, you'd set the pushes and could probably sketch out plans for your card based on that. In 2020, you have to take an educated guess, based on the stats, where everyone will fall in terms of Perception, because you won't have anything concrete until the night of the show.
  15. 1. The Undertaker 2. Ric Flair 3. Eddie Guerrero 4. The Great Muta 5. Raven
  16. I'd argue that they were a thing in the 80's, ever see the Jerry Lawler vs. Terry Funk Empty Arena match circa 1981 ( )? These cinematic matches are a perfect fit for the Empty Arena gimmick match or more realistic Unsanctioned Matches not held in front of the fans (because if it's unsanctioned, why would it be in front of fans or given time on the actual card?)
  17. We'll be able to convert 2016 mods to 2020 mods, so we'll have "playable" mods day one. It'll probably be a few months before we see a real world/historical mod designed to take advantage of all of TEW2020's bells and whistles.
  18. After I get tired of the theme, I replace it with a wrestler's theme. I'm currently using "Huka Blues" by Harry Slash & The Slashtones (Sabu's ECW theme). I keep the old one around though, "Take The Bow" is not a bad little tune.
  19. I rarely play the WWE, but in whatever promotion I play I usually do an integrated roster with gendered titles, with the "Women's Title(s)" (whatever I decide to call it/them) set as a floating title. I actually like booking a "Women's division" this way, as I can see them grow into potential superstars (usually straight from an affiliated training school). More than once my women's division became my favorite to book because a particular talent got over or because a particular talent got over (with me ) and I rush booking the male part of the roster to book their matches.
  20. I like this idea, might have liked it a bit more if it were spread out more along the skill (something like <85, <75, <65, for example) to make greater use of the whole 1-100 score range. I feel this would jive better with what player would expect as well, a booker with higher than 65 booker skill would be slightly above average, a booker with greater than 75 is in rarified company, and a booker above 85 would be among some of the best.
  21. In the Cornellverse I'm running a regionally sized lucha libre promotion out of Puerto Rico named Gulf Coast Lucha Libre, and in an alliance I created with CILL and EMLL . Just netted a spot on Los Deporte Hoy and had my first episode of Batalla Alrededor del Golfo ("Battle Around the Gulf" in English): Main Event: Kirk Jameson defeated Billy Russell for the GCLL Gulf Championship Kirk Jameson saved Kid San Juan from a two-on-one beatdown after he lost to Rudy Velasquez (due to cheating on the part of Hector Galindo). Lobo Blanco defeated Anarchist for the GCLL Puerto Rico Championship El Mitico Jr. lost to Jesus Chavez Electric Blue (Electric Dreamer/Aguila Azul Celeste) defeated Purple Viper/Mystery Pink after Electric Dreamer pinned Mystery Pink. ED will go on to face Purple Viper for the GCLL Luchadora Championship next episode of BAG. This match also saw Purple Viper establish a legendary gimmick (Snake) and was the first time in my entire time playing this game I got a note about the young women demographic being happy about a worker winning a match (it did a D rating). Ejército de las Tinieblas (Slayyer/Delirium/Vladamire*) defeated Reyes de Gatos (Amo Del Gato/Silver Tiger) & Mr Lucha III in a 2-out-of-3 falls lucha match for the GCLL Trios Championship. Cyclops defeated Xavi Ferrera** with the High Fly Eye Chess Manic defeated Logan Wolfsbane** with the Checkmate in the opening match The next episode of BAG will see: Kirk Jameson defend his newly won title against Rudy Velasquez. Kid San Juan team with "The Lone Wolf" Lobo Blanco to try to get some measure of revenge against The Latino kings (Hector Galindo/Jesus Chavez) Electric Dreamer vs. Purple Viper for the GCLL Luchadora Championship. Ejército de las Tinieblas, Billy Russell, and Cyclops in action! *my Avatar ** These two were fired the same day from PSW and I snapped them up thinking I could mold them into future stars for my company in time, plus one of them being Puerto Rican and both coming from the same promotion seemed like a story I could work with. I hired Calypso Jim, aka Bobo Brazil Jr., in a RW game once who injured three people in a row, including my avatar, and New Jack so badly it forced him to retire (which was a blessing in disguise, as he became a manager). I started calling him BooBoo Brazil Jr. after that.
  22. The first TEW had everything split out by states, then regions, then countries, IIRC. That idea was dropped by the second game in the series to what we have now.
  23. I don't have the mod installed, but given Don Owens was running PNW and owned the Portland Sports Arena until he retired in 1992 (and sold his promotion lock, stock, and barrel to former wrestler-turned-referee Sandy Barr, father of Art and Jesse Barr), there should be something in the area.
