  4. TCW Destructive Energy 2020 Held in front of 13,711 peope in the BriCo Center (San Antonio, Texas) The Biggins Boys (Bart Biggins, Brett Biggins) vs Benson & The Foxx In the opener of the night, Brett Biggins debuts alongside brother Bart Biggins, defeating Benson & The Foxx in 14 mins when Brett Biggins pins Flying Jimmy Foxx with a B-B-Gun. Excellent reunion from the two brothers, who seems destined to do a money-spinning nostalgia run in TCW tag division. This match gets the show off to a strong start. [71] Despite a good match, another loss for Benson & The Foxx, who fall again in the tag team rankings. The Biggins Boys returns backstage as Benny Benson helps Flying Jimmy Foxx, still stunned after the defeat. OH WAIT! Benny Benson gives a pat to the back of Jimmy Foxx, before hitting him with a vicious Superkick and turning on him. After a beatdown in the ring, staff members have to come out to stop Benny Benson. [59] Mr. Lucha III vs Gino Montero “El Hijo de la Leyenda” Gino Montero makes his TCW debut, going one versus one with fellow mexican wrestler, Mr. Lucha III, accompanied by Vinny Cruz. In a decent match, Gino Montero is able to score the W, defeating Mr. Lucha III in 20 mins by pinfall with a Montero Press. The contest may have been better, but the two wrestlers don’t seem to click and it made for an awkward bout. Still, this match gets the crowd buzzing and presents a new interesting worker in the company. [56] Texas Brawl: Dazzling Dave Diamond vs Texas Hangman In a texas brawl where anything goes, Dazzling Dave Diamond challenges Texas Hangman in singles action, with the agreement that no one, not even Maverick will interfere. After almost 10 mins of brutal violence, Maverick comes in to attack Dazzling Dave Diamond with a steel chair. Texas Hangman, however, blocks Maveric, as the two begin to push to take control of the steel chair. Texas Hangman use his strenght to snatch the chair from the veteran’s hands, as Maverick ends up being swinged outside the ring. “The Hangman” turns with the chair in hands, being reached by a straight punch from Dazzling Dave Diamond who hit the chair and impact on Texas Hangman’s skull: COLLATERAL! Texas Hangman gets knocked down, being pinned by DDD. [59] TCW Tag Team Titles: Human Army (c) vs Party Lovers vs NXT in LINE vs The Elite Human Arsenal and One Man Army defend their title belts from the assault of Edd Stone and Danny Fonzarelli, Eddie Chandler and Nate Johnson, Greg Gauge and Joshua Taylor, in a four-way tag team match that has great heat and good wrestling. The Party Lovers don’t make their best performance, as Edd Stone seems off his game. Meanwhile, TCW International champ Greg Gauge and Joshua Taylor have some miscommunication once again who cost them the chance to win the tag team golds. After 19 mins, Eddie Chandler and Nate Johnson are able to score the pin on Human Arsenal, by using some dirty tricks. We got new champs! The Elite win the TCW World Tag Team titles for the 2nd time. [77] Eddie Peak vs Wolf Hawkins Both with a cheap on their shoulders and a desire to regain some momentum, the leaders of the two biggest stable in TCW collide in singles action. The contest has fantastic heat and great wrestling, with fans engaged even if the two workers are both heels, due to the fact that both are major stars with a lot of skills. During the match, the Syndicate (new champs Eddie Chandler and Nate Johnson, Doc Hammond, Chris Flynn) comes out at ringside to intimidate Eddie Peak and backing up their leader Wolf Hawkins. After that, Sinner Society (Killer Shark, Titan, Nick Booth) join the party, arriving at ringside. From this point on, the situation become really hot, with altercations between Wolf Hawkins and Eddie Peak. It seems like they both want to just brawl and unleash some violence, not caring a lot about the ongoing match. In fact, after a few moments of stalemate, the Sinner Society and The Syndicate enter the ring and fight against each other! IT’S A WILD BRAWL! And the referee has no other choice but to call for a Double DQ. [83] Mighty Mo, BLITZ! (Julius Moor, T-Bone Bright) vs Most Hated (Huggins, Speed, Hocking) In a three versus three match, Freddy Huggins team up with Marc Speed and Matt Hocking, representing the Most Hated. Their opponents are big players indeed: the winner of the TCW Texas Heritage Tournament, Mighty Mo, and the BLITZ!, Julius Moor and T-Bone Bright. In a bout that has fantastic heat and great wrestling, T-Bone Bright scores the pin for his team after Matt Hocking gets Sacked’Up after 18 mins. Another W for Mighty Mo who keeps climbing the rankings in TCW, while the BLITZ! impose their dominance once again. [83] TCW World Heavyweight Title: Jay Chord (c) vs Aaron Andrews In an exceptional main event, Jay Chord and Aaron Andrews collide once again for the TCW World Heavyweight Title. Two of the brightest stars in Total Championship Wrestling don’t disappoint expectations, fighting a great match. After 20 mins of back and forth attacks, the referee gets accidentally knocked out. This opens the door to interferences, as Jay Chord screaming in pain for some help by the hand of partners Joshua Taylor and Greg Gauge which, however, do not appear on stage, leaving Jay Chord extremely pissed and alone. Aaron Andrews builds his momentum, finally climbing the top rope to finish the opponent with his Frog Splash: OH WAIT! A hooded figure climbs the barricades and reach the apron, dropping down Aaron Andrews. After that, the hooded figure enters the ring and target “The Ace” again: STAR MAKER! The man remove the hood, showing everyone his identity .. IT’S TROY TORNADO!! That egomaniac S.O.B. costs Aaron Andrews the main event, leaving the stage while Jay Chord ends the match with his Cradle Piledriver. 7. Preview - TCW Destructive Energy 2020 The Biggins Boys (Bart Biggins, Brett Biggins) vs Benson & The Foxx As announced just a few days after the Texas Heritage Tournament, TCW has signed Brett Biggins, older brother of Bart Biggins with which he won 4 World Tag Team championships in the past. The Biggins Boys seems destined to do a money-spinning nostalgia run in TCW tag division. Their opponents will be the babyfaces Benny Benson and Flying Jimmy Foxx, who already stated to looking forward to share the ring with The Biggins Brothers in what we can expect to be an entertaining bout. Mr. Lucha III vs Gino Montero Mr. Lucha III and manager Vinny cruz kept asking for some international competition, so TCW decided to put him against a new face in the company, someone who made a lot of noise in the wrestling biz as he left hometown Mexico, where he was one of the brightest new stars, to join Total Championship Wrestling. The youngest son of the legendary Luis Montero, even before his professional debut in 2008 there was talk going around that Gino Montero was something special. In this all-mexican singles action, we will see two rising stars with some heavy legacies on their shoulders: who will come out on top? Texas Brawl: Dazzling Dave Diamond vs Texas Hangman The rivalry between Dazzling Dave Diamond and the duo of Maverick and Texas Hangman continues to heat up, after months from the beginning at TCW Total Mayhem XXIV. Triple D finally got in Texas Hangman’s head, as the young heavyweight seems to be pretty out of control for the veteran mentor, Maverick. In fact, Dazzling Dave Diamond has challenged Texas Hangman to a good ol’ Texas Brawl match betweem the two, without Maverick or anyone else to interfere, and Texas Hangman has accepted the challenge! TCW Tag Team Titles: Human Army (c) vs Party Lovers vs NXT in LINE vs The Elite The Tag Team titles will be on the line, as champs Human Arsenal and One Man Army are ready to defend their golds in an insidious four-way match. Their contenders will be the Party Lovers, Edd Stone and “Dr. Love” Danny Fonzarelli, who had both already won the tag belts with different partners; The Elite, Nate Johnson and Eddie Chandler, a tough veteran team always capable to find a sneaky way to win; NXT in LINE, Greg Gauge and Joshua Taylor, who had some tensions between them in the past months. This could be the perfect opportunity to Gauge and Taylor to be officialy back on the same page! .. But you really can’t count The Elite out! .. But you have to be aware of Party Lovers’ chances! .. And how about the champs? They are capable on retaining the golds! Oh, what a match this could be ladies and gentlemen. Eddie Peak vs Wolf Hawkins Both coming from an underwheling Texas Heritage Tournament performance and with a desire to rebuild their momentum to come back in the World title picture, Eddie Peak and Wolf Hawkins had some hassle in the recent weeks, goading each other. That leads to a singles match announced for TCW Destructive Energy, with the leaders of Sinner Society and The Syndicate who will collide one versus one in a bout that could redefine the rankings around the TCW World Heavyweight Title. Mighty Mo, BLITZ! (Julius Moor, T-Bone Bright) vs Most Hated (Freddy Huggins, Marc Speed, Matt Hocking) Fresh of a win in the TCW Texas Heritage Tournament, Mighty Mo had to deal with runner-up’s rant about him, as Freddy Huggins went public to mock and trash talk the babyface major star. Mighty Mo simply responded to “The Gem” by challenge him in a one versus one rematch for the next Event, but Marc Speed and Matt Hocking got in the way, having leader Freddy Huggins’ back. Mighty Mo then found someone who backed him up in the fresh new tag team BLITZ!, made by former football athletes Julius Moor and T-Bone Bright. TCW World Heavyweight Title: Jay Chord (c) vs Aaron Andrews The Andrews-Chord rivalry continues here at TCW Destructive Energy 2020. Jay Chord defeated Aaron Andrews at TCW Summer Showdown 2020 to win the World Heavyweight title. After that, “The Ace” pinned Chord twice: at TCW Hotter Than Hell 2020 in a three versus three match, and in singles action during the TCW Texas Heritage Tournament Quarter finals. This two wins, guaranteed Aaron Andrews a rematch for the big gold. Will “The Ace” reclaim the title belt? Or will Jay Chord succesfully make his first title defence? 11. Hey guys, I decided to open a new thread to continue my dynasty with TCW, as it has been two weeks already and the new forum is still a mess. You could find the previous months and events here. If you’re new to this dynasty feel free to ask me anything. We are currently in september 2020, right after TCW Texas Heritage Tournament 2020. Total Championship Wrestling, owned by toy colossus BriCo, is doing pretty good financially and ratings-wise with its new tour shows-related model, more similar to the japanese puroresu. The next event is TCW Destructive Energy 2020. The Open World alliance, which for now welcomes TCW and PGHW, seems like a good deal for both companies. The TCW International Title has been fought already in both Japan and the United States, with PGHW's Kozue Kawashima who also became champ at some point. Meanwhile, multiple TCW's stars as Aaron Andrews, Joshua Taylor and Greg Gauge had some appearences in japan.

  16. TCW Texas Heritage Tournament - Day #4 Held in front of 10,000 people in a sold-out The Ranch of San Antonio, Texas After a small performance by a minor band, pretty popular in hometown Texas, TCW presents the forth and final day of the Texas Heritage Tournament, with a video promo of the texan wrestling heritage and a recap of the first 3 days of the Tournament. Quarter Finals: Eddie Peak vs Killer Shark In an opener that has fantastic heat and decent wrestling, Eddie Peak scores the W against fellow Sinner Society’s member, the heavyweight Killer Shark, in 12 mins by pinfall with a Peak of Perfection. Still, Killer Shark battles up at the same level of his leader, showing some sign of potential solo star in the future. “The Hardcore Assassin” Eddie Peak reaches the Semi finals. [64] Quarter Finals: Greg Gauge vs Freddy Huggins In an exceptional match, TCW International champ Greg Gauge seems to be in control, before the Most Hated faction helps out leader Freddy Huggins. Joshua Taylor comes out to help friend Greg Gauge, as it seems like hostility between these two are over, and attacks Marc Speed and Matt Hocking, but eventually Roderick Remus and Prime Time Jack Pryde blindside him. At this point, Greg Gauge exits the ring to beatdown Huggins’ friends before returning to the squared circle. Here, after another distraction, this time from Laura Catherine Huggins, Greg Gauge ends up in a small package who gives Freddy Huggins the win: 1! .. 2! .. 3! [76] Quarter Finals: Wolf Hawkins vs Mighty Mo In an exceptional match, Mighty Mo advances to the Semi finals after defeating the 3-time TCW World Heavyweight champ, Wolf Hawkins, in 21 mins with a Plunging Spinebuster. A great match that deserves better announcing, something recurrent in TCW to be honest, both workers have some near falls, but eventually Mighty Mo scores the W after hitting his fantastic finisher. [77] Quarter Finals: Aaron Andrews vs Jay Chord The Quarter finals of the Texas Heritage Tournament gives us the singles rematch between World champ Jay Chord and former champ Aaron Andrews. In an exceptional match, “The Ace” defeats Jay Chord in 20 mins by pinfall with a Frog Splash, pinning the young champ for the 2nd time in the last weeks! Something that usually gives you a title shot. Aaron Andrews advances to the Semi finals, while is game over for the NXT in LINE guys, with Joshua Taylor eliminated in the Second round, while Greg Gauge and Jay Chord eliminated in the Quarter finals. [78] Before moving to the Semi finals, in an entertaining segment backstage the Party Lovers grow in numbers. From being a tag team to become a stable, as “Dr. Love” Danny Fonzarelli and Edd Stone are joined by Tana The Mighty and Reijiro Hiraki. A nice faction in terms of entertainment and comedy, with some solid in-ring performances too. [67] Semi Finals: Eddie Peak vs Freddy Huggins In the first Semi final, Eddie Peak goes one on one against Freddy Huggins. In a bout that has fantastic heat and great wrestling, we witness a big brawl at ringside between the respective stables of Sinner Society and Most Hated, with Eddie Peak’s side who comes out on top thanks to Killer Shark and Titan brutal force. Still, in the ring is “The Gem” Freddy Huggins the one who takes advantage of the chaotic situation, pinning Eddie Peak with a quick pinfall after poking his eyes. Some how, some way, Freddy Huggins reaches the Final of the tournament. [79] Semi Finals: Mighty Mo vs Aaron Andrews In the second Semi final, the two biggest babyfaces in Total Championship Wrestling collide in an exceptional match that lasted 22 mins. “Ace” Aaron Andrews seems destined to win the bout, climbing the top rope to execute his Frog Splash, but get caught mid-air by Mighty Mo, who connects his Plunging Spinebuster: 1! .. 2! .. 3! Mighty Mo reaches the Finals after defeating a 3-time TCW World Heavyweight champ, but one wonders at what cost. Mo has to feel exhausted after this battle. After the match, Aaron Andrews goes over and shakes hands with Mighty Mo under a round of applause by the fan in attendance at The Ranch of San Antonio. [79] And just before the main event, CEO Kyle Rhodes reveals the tournament trophy that will go to the winner. Well, not a trophy to be fair, but a championship belt! A strap that remembers the iconic and retired Texas Wrestling League championship, as a way to honour the late TWL company and its historical champions. [63] Final: Freddy Huggins vs Mighty Mo In an exceptional main event, “The Gem” Freddy Huggins tries to cheat in any way possibile to win it all, while Mighty Mo fights with pride and honour. Freddy Huggins dominates the first part of the match, as Mighty Mo really seems still exhausted by his previous bouts and has to deal also with Laura Catherine Huggins’ distractions. Still, 18 mins in the match, Mighty Mo builds his momentum that leads him to score the pin against Freddy Huggins with a Plunging Spinebuster. Mighty Mo wins the TCW Texas Heritage Tournament. [83] [SHOW RATING: 80] RESULTS: Quarter Finals: Eddie Peak def Killer Shark Quarter Finals: Freddy Huggins def Greg Gauge Quarter Finals: Mighty Mo def Wolf Hawkins Quarter Finals: Aaron Andrews def Jay Chord Semi Finals: Freddy Huggins def Eddie Peak Semi Finals: Mighty Mo def Aaron Andrews Final: Mighty Mo def Freddy Huggins

  20. Preview - TCW Texas Heritage Tournament - Day #4 It’s the day before the Texas Heritage Tournament Finals, time for some media scrum. The eight remained wrestlers have some exposure, talking about the tournament and TCW in general. Here’s the upcoming Quarter Finals: Eddie Peak vs Killer Shark in an internal Sinner Society’s match International champ Greg Gauge vs “The Gem” Freddy Huggins The Syndicate’s leader Wolf Hawkins vs the rising star Mighty Mo World champ Jay Chord vs former champ Aaron Andrews ”The Hardcore Assassin” Eddie Peak "The Hardcore Assassin" Eddie Peak is a heavyweight brawler, leader and mouthpiece of his Sinner Society stable. A major star in TCW, Eddie Peak is still searching for his first singles achievement in the company, after having won the TCW World Tag Team titles in 2009, alongside American Buffalo. His first victims in the tournament have been Human Arsenal and Dazzling Dave Diamond. Killer Shark The massive Killer Shark is a 2011 graduate of the TCW School Of Pro Wrestling. The hulking 430lb monster has been used in the tag team ranks quite a lot. His team with Titan, The Behemoths, are three-time world tag team champions and have made both men into significant heel forces to be reckoned with. Coming from two massive wins against One man Army and Tana the Mighty, Killer Shark is on a roll in this tournament. TCW International champ Greg Gauge Greg Gauge is the son of the legendary Sam Keith and identical twin brother of Matthew. He joined TCW in 2018 and is obviously being positioned as one of the stars who'll lead the company over the next decade or so, having already won the TCW Television title and the TCW International title. One of the three members of the NXT in LINE alliance, alongside Jay Chord and Joshua Taylor, Greg Gauge have scored wins against Benny Benson in the first round and Edd Stone in an exceptional second round match. ”The Gem” Freddy Huggins Freddy Huggins, the self proclaimed “Gem” of TCW after defeating nemesis Edd Stone, is a versatile performer who can brawl, wrestle, or take to the air. He is well known for being a long-time member of the TCW roster, where famously he is managed by his sister Laura Catherine Huggins in one of the great double acts in pro wrestling. A record-breaking five time holder of the TCW All Action title and leader of the Most Hated stable, Freddy Huggins won against Elliot Thomas and T-Bone Bright. Wolf Hawkins Florida native Andrew "Wolf" Hawkins is the only man to have ever been personally trained by the legendary Tommy Cornell, the man who signed him to TCW. A major success as a heel, Wolf Hawkins has gone on to become a big draw for the company, being a 3-time TCW World Heavyweight champion and the King of Kings in 2019. The “Alpha Wolf” has defeated Darryl Devine and star Julius Moor to reach the quarter finals of the tournament. Mighty Mo Mighty Mo is a 2010 graduate of the TCW School Of Pro Wrestling. A superb athlete, Mo combines a powerful muscular physique with explosive power and speed to create an awesome package. Considered to be one of the brightest prospects the camp has ever produced, and was inevitably signed to the main TCW roster as soon as he turned pro and already had some accolades, as former TCW International and TCW World Tag Team champ. Right now, Mo’s momentum his white hot, coming from a successful fued against Eddie Peak and recent wins in the tournament against Nate Johnson and Joshua Taylor. TCW World Heavyweight champ Jay Chord Jay Chord is the son of the iconic multi-time world champion Rip Chord. Clearly a tremendous prospect, TCW have carefully groomed Chord for success, gradually having him rise up the rankings. He's now an established major player and has finally won the TCW World Heavyweight title two months ago against Aaron Andrews. With wins against Danny Fonzarelli and Troy Tornado in the first two rounds of the tournament, the NXT in LINE member is definitely one of the favourites to win the competition. ”The Ace” Aaron Andrews Aaron "Ace" Andrews is a talented wrestler from Los Angeles who was the first graduate of the highly exclusive TCW training program set up by Tommy Cornell. Seen as a potential future superstar from day one, Andrews was handled very carefully by TCW management and slowly built up over time. Now a multiple-time world champion a major draw for the company has left, “The Ace” had a pretty simple road to the quarter finals, as he had to defeat the rookie Prime Tme Jack Pryde and Doc Hammond. CARD FOR PREVISIONS: 1st Quarter Finals: Eddie Peak vs Killer Shark 2nd Quarter Finals: Greg Gauge vs Freddy Huggins 3rd Quarter Finals: Wolf Hawkins vs Mighty Mo 4th Quarter Finals: Jay Chord vs Aaron Andrews 1st Semi Finals: 1st Quarter Finals winner vs 2nd Quarter Finals winner 2nd Semi Finals: 3rd Quarter Finals winner vs 4th Quarter Finals winner Final: 1st Semi Finals winner vs 2nd Semi Finals winner
