Sting is already standing by, and Roddy Piper is entering the ring. Piper quips that he “could swear he’s seen this talk show kinda gimmick before somewhere” but Jesse is all business, saying that he’s here to let these two get some final thoughts out before their big match at WCW Uncensored. “Hot Rod” says that he’s said it all already – that he can’t wait to see Sting lying in a puddle of his own blood yet again. Sting talks about how turnabout is going to be fair play, as it’s time that somebody taught Piper the lesson that you don’t go after the big dogs in another yard, when you could never handle the one from your own! Piper gets highly upset at that, saying that Sting needs to watch his mouth when he talks to a legend like him, but Sting says that he will do no such thing; stating he has nothing to fear of someone like Roddy when he’s coming to him face-to-face! Piper says that Sting may have a lot of bravado now, but the day comes when everybody has to pay the Piper, and he warns Sting that he needs to remember that there are no disqualifications in a first blood match. Sting says he’s counting on that, and says that he wants to make a deal with Piper that will extend to the referee of their match. He says that he thinks he speaks for Piper as well, in saying that neither man wants this one to end from some little bloody nose, or some trickle of blood – in Chicago, the only way their match can end is when one man is so beaten and bloodied that it’s gonna bankrupt the nearest blood bank to fill them back up! Roddy smiles, saying that for once, the two men are in agreement on something. Sonny Onoo tries to interject himself on a few occasions, but he never really does much more than provide a short lapse for Brian. Hakushi remains in control for a few minutes at a time with his chops and aerial assault, but Pillman knows all about both of these things, and after dodging away from a flipping attack from the top rope, the unhinged Television champion rushes the mysterious challenger and jumps up to drill him with the Loaded Gun DDT to retain his title. <div style="text-align:right;">Winner and STILL WCW World Television Champion: Brian Pillman Rating: C+</div> The match over, Brian grabs his TV title and a microphone. He says that he’s almost glad to not be defending his championship at Uncensored, because it means he can destroy that psycho Savage for pride rather than it being to retain his belt. He talks about how it’s starting to seem very coincidental that anytime Nick Bockwinkel comes out to talk to Pillman, it’s a distraction for a member of the KoW to jump him from behind – and why is it that ever since Halloween Havoc, have only Kings members gotten title shots at him on pay-per-view? Is someone like DDP not good enough to get a pay-per-view title match… or… <div style="text-align:center;">http://i1325.photobucket.com/albums/u628/beejus1/WCW-94/NickBockwinkel.jpg</div> Commissioner Bockwinkel comes out now, telling Brian that he needs to shut his mouth. He says that Pillman is grinding this show to a halt when we could be seeing some good wrestling action instead. Brian laughs, saying that the only thing supposed to happen now is Tommy and Jimmy squashing some guys who WCW keep around to make look like fools every week! Bockwinkel interrupts, saying that while Brian may be pleased to not be defending his belt tomorrow night, he cannot wait to see Pillman lose that prestigious championship; so that he can get rid of him, and not have to subject the young viewers to his vulgar locker room language each week. Nick says that he’s had Turner executives breathing down his neck ever since October with them citing Pillman as a bad influence that needs dealt with. Brian says that the two are at quite a standstill then, because Pillman has seen every challenge that Bockwinkel has sent at him, and he’s still standing tall! Pillman is taken by surprise, and Randy Savage begins going to work on him. Bockwinkel tells Savage to stop, but he doesn’t sound too enthused with his warnings. After a few minutes of this, Nick finally calls for security, but the damage is done, and the question must be asked: how will Brian be physically for his big match at Uncensored? <div style="text-align:right;">Rating: B</div></div></blockquote> <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="35691" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div><div style="text-align:center;">The Heavenly Bodies vs. Jumpin’ Joey Maggs & Super Nova</div> A quick match to allow commentary time to talk about Brian Pillman and Randy Savage, as the Bodies pretty easily put away Maggs after a double flapjack. Patriot starts off the interview, answering that he is so glad to be helping Duggan in trying to get the US Heavyweight title away from a man of no honor like Steve Austin. He calls Duggan a true patriot who will do this country proud as its champion, and Bagwell says that it also will help them, as defeating the Armstrongs will surely secure them a spot in either of the Tag title ranks. He says that Jim Duggan has always been one of his inspirations, and it is his pleasure to be on his side now. “Hacksaw” himself now takes over, saying that when he was challenged to a six man tag match by the Stud Stable, he knew exactly who to turn to; the team that he’d already kept a close eye on, two young men not afraid to wear the stars and bars proudly, just like himself! Unfortunately for him and his lone fan, this match’s sole design is to show camaraderie between the team of patriots, in order to show them as a threat for tomorrow night’s WCW Uncensored six man tag. Rather than talk about the match at hand, Tony talks about how big the match at Uncensored will be, as a win for Duggan and Stars ‘n Stripes means “Hacksaw” gets another United States title match, but a loss means he must leave WCW, and they speculate that the proud Duggan may not be able to handle being sent away like this by a man like Steve Austin. Gene quickly talks about them, saying that he has learned a little bit about them, but Malenko takes over, saying that Gene knows nothing. Dean says that he and Storm are two of a new breed of professional wrestler, men who don’t have to rely on pageantry and fanfare to be somebodies in this business. Storm says to just look at them; Malenko, from one of the most respected wrestling families in the sport, and Lance himself was trained in the infamous Dungeon. Gene asks them why they’ve attacked Johnny B. Badd and Alex Wright, and Dean says that not only is it their pleasure, but also it’s because their manager has told them to go after the two to make an example. Okerlund asks who their manager is, but neither man answers the question, saying that everyone will know as soon as they want people to know. Needless to say, whether it’s one on one or one on two, Vader shows off his outright dominance in this match. Brutal strikes and hard hitting impacts litter this, and when Vader is finally done toying with his opponents, he smashes down onto both of them with a Vaderbomb to cover for the win. <div style="text-align:right;">Winner: Vader Rating: C+</div> A sign in the crowd says “Vader Smash!” as Sonny Onoo hands his client a microphone. Vader says that for two weeks now, he’s been showing that in 1995, nobody can stop Vader Time! He’s taken down old men, he’s taken down a tag team, now who can possibly have the guts to come and face Vader at Uncensored tomorrow night? Vader says that he’ll even sweeten the deal, and let his opponent choose the way they die! Onoo takes the microphone and clarifies that Vader will let someone pick the stipulation, all they have to do is be a willing sacrifice to him! A few moments go by with no answer, and Vader gets furious! He says he’ll face anybody, no matter big or small, old or young, because he is VADER! And it doesn’t matter who they are, they’ll learn to fear the monster! Vader says he’ll close his eyes, and then some scared little dog from the back can come out and just sign the verbal contract without him even knowing who it is! <div style="text-align:center;">“We’ll make this a no disqualification match, ya big egg-suckin’ dog?!” http://i1325.photobucket.com/albums/u628/beejus1/WCW-94/TerryFunk.jpg</div> Vader opens his eyes to see Terry Funk standing in the entrance way! Funk has a microphone of his own, and he says that he’s admired Vader for quite some time, he is one hell of a big bull, but it looks like he’s getting way too big for his britches! Funk says that once a bull on the double cross ranch gets too uppity, that’s when it’s time to reach down and nut him! And at Uncensored tomorrow night, Vader is gonna find out that young, old, or middle-aged and crazy, it won’t be Vader time, it’ll be slaughter time! Simmons starts off strongly, throwing Kip around like a ragdoll, but Kip continually shows his ties to the unethical Kings by cheating at every turn. A sign goes up in the crowd reading “PUT ‘EM IN A BODYBAG!” and at certain points of this it looks as though big Ron could be a reason to do so for young Kip. At one point, Kip is in command of the match, but he is too beaten and worn down to lift Ron for his Silicon Valley Slam! Unfortunately, referee Mickey Jay gets caught in the face with Simmons’s boots when Kip tried to lift him, and Mickey goes down hard – leaving him unable to make a count when Ron smashes Kip halfway to China with a spinebuster! At this point, Jimmy Hart climbs into the ring and hits Ron with his megaphone – but it has no real effect! Ron gets up and gets in Hart’s face, but out comes the troops! Roddy Piper directs traffic as The Butcher and Bubba Rogers both put a beating on the former All-American, punctuating it with a vicious Bubba Slam! He turns and whispers a “shhhh!” to the apparently loud footed cameraman, and Regal attacks! He takes JPL down and is punching him… when suddenly he stops. A laugh is heard from off-camera and it’s JPL?!? Regal picks up his victim, and it’s a blow-up dummy with a blond wig! JPL says that just like in other facets of Lord Regal’s life, the only way he’s on top is with a doll! Tony says that it could be due to both men getting lost in the shuffle of all the great talent in WCW, and a win here could help propel one of them toward gold. Parker in particular on the outside looks pretty gruff, and commentary wonder why that could be. DDP almost puts Martel away on a few separate occasions, showing that while he may not be the “crown jewel” of the Stud Stable, he’s still one of its most dangerous members. Page even hits the D-D-Pancake on Martel and almost gets the pin there, but Rick is too close to the ropes and puts his foot on them to cause a break. DDP whips Martel to the ropes, but Martel reverses, and a distracted Colonel accidentally trips his own man! DDP gets up and protests his manager, who apologizes profusely, but it’s all for naught as Martel runs in and victory rolls DDP to the mat to get the win! <div style="text-align:right;">Winner: Rick Martel Rating: C+</div></div></blockquote> <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="35691" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>Backstage, we see Ric Flair, Arn Anderson, and Dustin Rhodes. Four legends of the sport of pro wrestling doing battle, with yet another legend on the outside. It takes no time at all for this one to live up to the hype, as Flair and Arn use every bit of their wile and technical acumen in order to stand a chance against the brutish Warriors. This one is a match straight out of the late 1980s, but the difference is that instead of the Horsemen being the ones trying so hard to cheat their way to victory over the fan favorite Hawk and Animal, it’s the viciousness of the unleashed Road Warriors trying to slaughter the virtuous best friends. Anderson and Animal put on a match of brute strength, but only until that doesn’t work, in which case Arn relies on a stick-and-move plan until he begins working on the left arm. Anderson and Flair start tagging in and out, always keeping a fresh man in the battle – but all at once, that too falls apart, as the hotheaded “Nature Boy” gets distracted from the outside by Rhodes and is beaten and dragged into the wrong part of town. Dusty begins to gloat to the camera, while yelling at a fan who’s sign says “The Horsemen are Warriors!”, but it’s only briefly – as Saturday Night goes to a commercial, “The Enforcer” waves to the back and out comes Dustin Rhodes! Dustin stands on the other side of the ring sternly, almost never breaking the gaze of his father on the opposite end of the arena. The match goes on with no interference from the outside, it remains between the four men in the ring. Flair is being destroyed by the Road Warriors though, and it starts to really look like this one has a foregone conclusion. The tide of battle turns though, when Animal lifts Flair into a hanging chokehold! Referee Mark Curtis starts counting, and Animal drops him before the five but instantly lifts him again! As Curtis is admonishing Animal, one Flair’s flailing legs catch Animal in the groin! Dusty jumps up on the apron to call attention as Animal drops Ric quickly, as Jesse and Bobby both talk about how that wasn’t intentional – but when Mark’s back is turned, the hellacious low blow that Flair unleashes on Animal is completely on purpose! Animal drops to the mat, and both Flair and Animal make tags to Anderson and Hawk! The two brawl in the center of the ring, and Dusty interjects himself again by grabbing Arn’s foot as he was backed into the corner, leading to a big running clothesline smashing him in the turnbuckles! Curtis turns to him, as the Road Warriors begin to set “Double A” up for the Doomsday Device! But little does anyone see Dustin climbing into the ring – he hits Animal with yet another low blow! When Hawk leaps, Animal staggers, and Arn grabs Hawk and pulls him into a huge DDT! Dusty comes over and sucker punches Flair, and it spills into the ring when out of the back comes Hollywood Hogan! Hollywood turns the tide, landing hard punches on the three WCW stars. It looks as though the numbers have gotten the KoW another advantageous win yet again, and right before the big first pay-per-view extravaganza of the year, Uncensored too. A sign in the crowd begs that it is “Time For The Horsemen To Ride Again!” and right now, Flair and Arn may even agree! Just a heads-up, but next week I'm leaving for New York Comicon. I'm really hoping to have Uncensored finished and posted either by then or maybe while I'm away and sitting at the hotel. So this one won't take long to get through, and then we move toward SuperBrawl! SuperBrawl is a show that I consider one of WCW's "big" shows, so expect to see a lot of really great build to matches for it. It isn't quite as huge as Starrcade, but I've always considered it right around the same level as Great American Bash, yet another big show! So there's gonna be a lot of hype for it!

These two liven up the crowd in a hurry, putting on a classic that should not have been missed by anyone who may have tuned in late. Eaton shows his chops as a veteran grappler, taking Savage to the mat and working him over well. Eaton makes it look as though he could get the win a few times in this one, but the “Macho Man” never stays down. Instead, his unhinged nature shines through as he viciously assaults Eaton on the outside of the ring, screaming “PILLMAN, PILLMAN!” with almost every hard punch. Savage nearly gets himself disqualified for using a closed fist more than once in this one, but he maintains himself a little bit and after a running knee to Eaton’s back to smash him in the turnbuckles, Randy goes up for the big elbow drop and gets the win in one of the best thrown-together opening matches Saturday Night has ever seen. <div style="text-align:right;">Winner: Randy Savage Rating: B</div> <div style="text-align:center;">http://i1325.photobucket.com/albums/u628/beejus1/WCW-94/BrianPillman2.jpg</div> To center stage comes the TV champ Brian Pillman with a microphone, and from the aisle he taunts Savage, mockingly applauding his win. He says that as much as he’s respected Bobby over the past few years, he has just shown that nice guys will always finish last. Especially in today’s world of wrestling, where you see a raving lunatic like Randy Savage running around! Pillman says that people shouldn’t worry though, because at Uncensored next Sunday, he is gonna straightjacket Savage and throw away the key! Randy doesn’t even say anything, first he points from the ring calling Brian a dead man, and then he jumps over the top rope and rushes him! Out strides World Heavyweight champion Hollywood Hogan! Commentary put over highly how much that move has led to JPL’s undefeated streak in WCW. JPL has a lot of fun at his opponent’s expense in this one, at one point even giving him a wedgie. Gambler gets in a bit of token offense, but a knee smash and the Pedigree signal the end of this one. <div style="text-align:right;">Winner: JPL Rating: D+</div> <div style="text-align:center;">http://i1325.photobucket.com/albums/u628/beejus1/WCW-94/StevenRegal.jpg</div> JPL says that since we’re done with the comic relief, it’s time to move on to business, and to that end, he calls out Lord Steven Regal. Regal comes out, a bit more wary than last week, and says that at Uncensored, he’s going to show JPL that his buffoonery will not harm his Lordship whatsoever, and in fact it will prove to be JPL’s undoing as Regal shall make him hurt for trying to embarrass the nobleman. JPL says that in case Regal hasn’t been paying attention, he’s still undefeated here in WCW, and he has no intentions of letting that die just to appease someone like Regal’s fragile ego. Regal smirks, saying that he has the perfect match for him, given how they claim Uncensored must feature only stipulations. Regal says that he is going to break him in mind, body, and spirit all at once, and he’s going to do it in a simple World of Sport match, where the match is split into five–minute rounds (three minutes for title matches), two public warnings for rule breaking before a disqualification, and no follow–up moves allowed on a grounded opponent. JPL says that there’s one thing Regal has forgotten about, and it’s behind him! Regal turns to look over his shoulder, when JPL grabs his robe and puts it over his Lordship’s head, before kicking him in the stomach and hitting him with a Pedigree! Badd & “Das Wunderkind” Alex Wright w/Teddy Long vs. Devon Storm & “Pretty” Paul Roma</div> One fan certainly knows who he wants to cheer here, as a sign goes up reading “ROMA 3:16”. A basic, nothing match designed to do little but display the strange chemistry between Badd and the still undefeated Wright. Their teamwork is something to behold, and it’s the only thing making this match into something even average as both men utilize their high flying arsenals to keep their opponents off-balance for the entirety of this short matchup. Roma appears to be trying out new partners, but he doesn’t find any use in Storm, who falls to a missile dropkick from “Das Wunderkind” for the fairly simple three count. <div style="text-align:right;">Winners: Johnny B. Badd & Alex Wright Rating: C-</div> Badd and Wright start walking toward the back, celebrating their win, as Roma is in the ring still yelling at Devon Storm. The camera is ready to cut to Tony, Bobby, and Jesse, when suddenly two men hop out of the crowd and attack Badd and Wright! Heenan says that “it’s starting to get uncensored out here!” as Tony screams for help from the back! The two fan favorites get beaten down to the ground, Wright especially getting smashed into the guardrail and smashed with a martial arts style kick to the face! He gets in the ring behind Flair and Arn, saying that he and Hollywood will take them on, on THEIR terms, on terms that Dusty, Flair, and Anderson know all too well – “a Bunkhouse Brawl! Hogan and Dusty join in, bloodying the duo with vicious strikes! Rhodes drops an elbow on both of them, before Hollywood punctuates things by dropping a big legdrop on them both! The KoW leave the ring laughing at their handiwork. Vader takes time out of his busy schedule to casually destroy Rich in this open challenge, hammering him with a constant barrage of claps to the head, splashes, big slams, and finally a powerbomb to seal the deal. Onoo on the outside snaps pictures on his disposable camera as Vader poses in between each vicious maneuver, and as he leaves the ring he grunts that now is his time! They’ve been keeping an eye on WCW ever since they left this dump four years ago, and there’s one thing that has bothered them this whole time – the lack of any decent tag team champions! He adds that he and his brother were none too pleased about getting attacked last week by Hawk and Animal, and they spent the whole holiday thinking of the best way to get their revenge. Stevie says that if they must put their titles up, then they’ll get in the ring, and they’ll do it right in the Warriors’s backyard at Uncensored at the Rosemont Horizon! And not only that, to sweeten the deal they’re challenging Hawk and Animal to their specialty, a Chicago Street Fight! So Hayes says that since WCW are putting on a show that’s designed to settle scores in the most brutal way possible, “and you know exactly where I’m going with this, Terry,” Hayes says that he wants Gordy in another match – a Badstreet Brawl! Gordy grabs the microphone and tells Michael that he better be bringing some backup, because the match is on! Duggan and Gordy, two big brawlers who will stand toe-to-toe against anyone, put on a nice brawl with one another here. This one could have taken place in any barroom in the continental US, is how Jesse Ventura puts it. Michael Hayes on commentary mostly puts over how he knows Gordy so well both in and out of the ring, and that he’s done with seeing his partner across the ring, he’s just another enemy. Gordy takes it to “Hacksaw” in this one, knocking him senseless on a few particular shots, but never really seems able to put him away. At the closing moments of the match, Duggan rallies, but his opponents for Uncensored make their presence felt as the Armstrong Brothers come to ringside. BG jumps up on the apron to distract referee Randy Anderson, and Brad slips in from behind to hit a three-quarter facelock russian legsweep! The Armstrongs leave the scene quickly, and when Duggan tries to drag himself back to his feet, Gordy rushes him and hits a big lariat to get the pinfall. Hayes says that the Armstrongs gift-wrapped that one for him, but Terry won’t be so lucky at Uncensored! <div style="text-align:right;">Winner: Terry Gordy Rating: B-</div> After Gordy heads to the back, pointing at Hayes and crowing “You’re next!” on his way past, the Armstrongs keep up the attack in the ring! This time, it’s Hollywood, Roddy Piper, Dusty Rhodes, and Randy Savage coming to the stage. They stay at the top of the ramp and Hogan does most of the talking, saying that Flair and Arn will find out in Chicago that this is where the power lies for a reason. Savage is seen ripping up a fan’s sign that says “Not Another WWF Reject!” Piper takes the mic for a minute to talk about Sting, saying that he’ll see him later tonight to sign the waiver, but he’ll have a great time leaving him in a puddle of his own blood again! Dusty says that he just hopes his son watches on at Uncensored, as daddy shows him how it’s done! Bockwinkel says in no uncertain terms that there is a good reason why he made sure their match tonight was not for either of their titles – because the fact is, he doesn’t really care to see either of them holding the belts they have, let alone gaining another one on top of it! He wishes them both the best of luck in coming out the winner; but if they find themselves in a position to hurt one another, go ahead. Flair is ranting and raving about how if the KoW want a Bunkhouse Brawl, they got it – Flair and Arn have faced and destroyed Dusty enough times in the past that one more will be a walk in the park! Anderson talks about how the Road Warriors seem to have this idea that they can just attack people at random just because of who they are, but next week, they want to see them face to face, in the ring! Gene asks Dustin for his thoughts, and Rhodes says that if his dad wants him to watch on Sunday, he also wants his dad to watch him, and that’s why he’s putting out a challenge to any of Dusty’s new charges to see him in the ring, whatever match they want! It doesn’t take long for this one to degenerate into a heated brawl, as left over bad blood erupts from both men. Referee Mark Curtis keeps things in line as best he can, deliberately slowing his count when the men are out of the ring and allowing very slight leeway on the rules in the ring. Jesse says that if they’d be able to get away with much more, this would be happening at WCW Uncensored! Neither man holds the upper hand for long before the tide changes, each using his own particular strengths to full capacity to swing the momentum back and forth like a pendulum. Surprisingly, aside from cheering from the outside, Colonel Parker stays out of it. As the clock ticks away, each man’s maneuvers get more and more desperate. Each man shows remarkable foresight in countering out of not only one another’s regular finishing holds, but also their newest ones. Pillman goes for an Air Pillman, but Austin ducks. Austin tries the Stungun, but Brian knees him in the face. Pillman goes for the Loaded Gun DDT, but Austin shoves him away, making Brian land flat on his stomach. Austin tries his borrowed Diamond Cutter, but Pillman grabs the ropes to keep from dropping. Both men come out, and he says that due to the graphic nature of their challenge to one another, he is making them sign a waiver that will keep WCW and the state of Illinois out of legal hot water when it comes to their match at WCW Uncensored. He asks them both to put pen to paper, and get this over with so that we can have our match. Both men take a quick moment to glance through the paperwork, and they both sign! Piper gets a microphone and reiterates how he’s going to have such a ball at Uncensored when he gets to show the world Sting’s blood. Sting says that people have seen his blood, sweat, and tears for years all over WCW rings, but in the Rosemont Horizon, there will be blood, but it will not be his! Piper says well, there’s one thing about that, and he turns and bashes Sting with the microphone! Piper stomps and kicks at Sting, driving him down into the turnbuckles, but just when the “Little Stingers” start to make Sting rally back to his feet, “Hot Rod” slips out of the ring and heads up the aisle! Being one of the first guys to jump ship like this, it's a pretty WCW thing to do for him to head right into major stories. And who knows, maybe by the time I'm done with him, he'll not Billy Gunn his chance as California Kip? Kevin's contract was coming up, and I just couldn't see keeping him around any longer given he was #2 on the Time Decline list, and terminal at that. So his whole storyline in this with Cactus was like I said, just a big happy farewell so he could leave on a huge story. The two have a very well-balanced match, with Austin never able to cheat his way into a full advantage as Duggan brawls back with hard right hands anytime he tries to. Duggan even takes care of Colonel Parker, slamming him and Austin with a double noggin knocker during a consult outside the ring! With no other recourse, Stunning Steve surprises everybody – especially Tony Schiavone – by twisting his style into something that Jim never expected: clean mat wrestling. He talks about how everybody said that Hogan versus Flair at the Bash at the Beach was a match they called “Clash of the Titans”. But Sting thinks this match should have a different title than that, he thinks that Hogan and Flair should have been called “Battle of the 80’s Legends”. He says that tonight though? Tonight will be the night that the eighties meets the nineties, as the hero of yesteryear goes up against the hero of the day, and the people watching this huge night at home or here in the Kiel Center in St. Louis will be the biggest winners. But not the only winner – as “The Stinger” plans to be the winner of the day, when he wraps Hollywood Hogan up in the Scorpion Deathlock, “and Hollywood, Hulkster, whatever you want to call yourself, it doesn’t matter, because there are only – TWO WAYS! Out of the Scorpion; and that’s either you scream ‘I quit!’ or I break you in two!” <div style="text-align:right;">Rating: B Sting gimmick change to Fan Favorite rated a 94. The animosity between these two has grown exponentially over the past few months, and it shows in this match as the normally cool, collected DDP goes for broke on seemingly every punch. Johnny is the one taking his time and mapping out moves this time, in a complete role reversal from their earlier matches. Jesse surmises that Badd likely took this match not just to defend his honor in the case about Kim, but also because a win over DDP would probably get him back to having a title shot at Austin again. Long does his best to nullify Parker on the outside, which means this one stays as a one-on-one matchup for the duration of it. In the end, the pride of Page against the aspirations of Badd proves to be the deciding factor in the match. Johnny goes up, looking for the shooting star press that he used to defeat Page at WrestleWar, but Dallas rolls too far away for Badd to try it. When Johnny gets down on the mat again, he sends Page in for a back body drop, but DDP blocks it and lifts him up for the D-D-Pancake! Not able to capitalize immediately, the match continues. Badd gets an advantage and goes for a springboard clothesline, but DDP thinks fast and grabs him, dropping Badd with a Diamond Cutter! Morton and Del Ray start off, Jimmy showing off his dancing moves to the crowd before they get going. But once they get rolling, the Southern Style Tag Team Wrestling is in full effect. Unfortunately, the crowd is of course appreciative and will clap along, but they really want to see something other than Memphis heel tactics and babyface comeback spots. Especially given that these guys have pretty much done this match every time, just with variation on this or that heat segment. Why yes, this is Starrcade, why do you ask? Hayes may have a size disadvantage, but he makes up for it by fighting back at every chance he can. He shows a lot of heart in this battle against his former running mate, proving himself as a formidable foe against his much stronger opponent. Jesse says that he talked to Terry earlier tonight and he said that he doesn’t want to be called “Bamm Bamm” anymore, as it was a nickname that associates him with other people, and he plans to be his own man from now on – no matter who he has to hurt to prove it. The best part of this one is that all the time these two spent teaming has yielded good chemistry between them. No matter how many times Michael gets up, Gordy is right there to knock him back down, and Patrick seems conflicted when Gordy hits a running clothesline in the corner that snaps Michael’s head back brutally. Terry pulls him out and locks in the Oriental Spike while Hayes is woozy, and shakes him around viciously. Kip, though, is a brash young man with a lot to prove, and he also has Hart watching out for him on the outside. Martel neutralizes him by keeping his attention in the ring – despite a fan’s sign in the front row proclaiming “Z-Man for President” – but not being prepared for his opponent works against Rick, and Kip is able to block out of the boston crab by grabbing the ropes. Butcher may be a well-established superstar in his own right, but no matter what he does here, all Simmons has to do is throw him away and he’s only a brutal slam away from being right back in the forefront of this match. Even when Butcher tries to lock on his old standby sleeperhold, Ron only fades for a moment before backing into the turnbuckle to break it and sit Butcher in the corner. Schiavone says that he just saw a glint of something shiny; he thinks Regal had on something like brass knuckles! Lord Regal gets down and pulls Lévesque into the Regal Stretch, stretching him excruciatingly as officials come out of the backstage area to try and break the hold! Cameras catch Regal yelling at Jean-Paul “You’re no blue blood, you’re just some lowlife peasant! Brad and Booker start this one, their clash in styles very evident. When BG enters, this one becomes a straight brawl, as he doesn’t have the technical wrestling down like his brother does. Big Stevie Ray comes in and cleans house, but falls victim to Parker’s cheating on the outside. Jesse points out that if the Armstrongs would win this one, it’d mean a clean sweep for the Stud Stable tonight, and that’d make the Colonel especially happy. Stevie gets used as a punching bag by both brothers, as they do a fine job of keeping him and Booker separate. About halfway through, though, Ray catches them both with a double clothesline and makes the tag, changing this one decidedly into Booker T running through both men. From there, this one becomes more about a war of attrition, as neither team will stay down no matter how many big moves get thrown at one another! The end comes when a miscommunication with Parker and Brad finds both men on their backs on the floor, leaving BG alone with both members of the Heat. Cactus enraged him by assaulting brother Evad, before the two went to a double countout at Fall Brawl. They finally met again in the two-ring cage at WrestleWar, but neither man was satisfied. This one starts out right in the aisle, as Jack stops there and waits on Kevin to come out of the back. Fists fly as the two men do all they can to physically injure the other. A big Cactus clothesline takes the two men over the guardrail and up into the stands with the crowd! Randy Anderson gives chase, pleading with them to get back in the ring but unable to do anything other than just make suggestions. Up through the crowds they brawl, neither man seeming to gain much of an advantage despite numerous shots to one another with rubber trash cans, plastic chairs, and at one point Kevin picks up a piece of guardrail that he uses to ram Jack down a flight of stairs! They head up to the concession area, Jack throwing a soda in Kevin’s eyes before slamming his face down onto the stand! Security holds back the crowd up there as the crowd members in the arena watch on the big screen over the entrance way (WCW laid out some extra money for this show). The two brawl their way clear outside the arena and into the actual streets of St. Louis! Jesse Ventura sees a guy who he thinks he sold tickets to out there trying to scalp them, and Tony says that he doesn’t have to because this one is right out there for the world to see! They fight their way to a table selling fruits (Jesse: “Who has a fruit stand outside that would be still out there at 9 pm?”) and after they each play “smash the random fruit in one another’s face” for a little bit, Jack gets the upper hand by putting a bucket over Kevin’s head and hitting it with a shovel! He pulls “The Gamesmaster” onto the table itself, and he DDTs him through it! Randy Anderson counts the pinfall, and Cactus has done it! So he goes into this match tonight not as “The Nature Boy”, but as Ric Flair, the man, who will walk, that aisle, and show the KoW that there is still plenty of fight left in WCW for people to take them down! Bubba’s size keeps him in the driver’s seat as long as he can keep Brian’s high flying offense to a minimum and keep the pace of the match slowed down and grounded. Brian still manages to work some in though, and each time the match picks up speed, he has the big man staggered. But each time, he fails at getting him off his feet. “The KoW’s Guardian Angel” gets a bit too confident when the match spills outside the ring though, and a full-speed charge causes him to go careening into the steel post when Pillman ducks out of the way! Brian rolls back in to hit a big suicide dive forearm smash that jacks the challenger’s jaw, and he sends him back into the ring. Brian then springboards into the ring to hit a big DDT, which Jesse dubs “the loaded gun”, and he falls on top to get a miraculous three count! A fan’s sign in the crowd is pointed out reading “Pillman is our savior!” as he is handed his TV title. <div style="text-align:right;">Winner and STILL WCW World Television champion in 10:15 : Brian Pillman Rating: B</div> The match over and won, “The Loose Cannon” grabs a microphone. He directs everyone’s attention to the big screen and says that he is now set to show the footage that has even Hollywood Hogan shaking in his boots – live, uncensored, steamy footage recorded on his very own XXX Files of his Queen! Pillman says that to the guys in the back, roll it, right now! Well, something rolls. Savage attacks Brian, knocking him down and even attacking him clear out of the ring. “Macho Man” picks up a chair and rushes him, but Pillman fights back by hitting Savage in the stomach, but Macho blocks the jumping DDT by throwing Brian into the crowd! Flair tells him that no matter how many times they’ve been at one another’s throats in the past, and no matter how many times they likely will be opponents in the future, he has the utmost respect for the Stinger, and wishes him luck tonight in out Hogan tonight. It actually takes a hoard of officials to run in and break the four men up so that the match can get started! Dustin begins the match against Animal, and it’s obvious who has the strength advantage in that one, as Animal sends young Rhodes sailing across the ring off a lockup. Dustin hits the ropes to try and get some momentum on his side, but he runs into a brick wall when he tries a clothesline. A sign in the crowd reads “Where’s Barry Windham when you need him?” which makes Ventura chuckle. Animal stands tall after another shoulderblock attempt, but when he goes for a back bodydrop, Dustin drops to his back and punches him in the throat! Rhodes takes over for a bit, using his speed advantage to make the match get faster paced and keep his larger foe on the backfoot. Dustin tags in Steamboat, who does the same, coming in off the top rope with a big flying karate chop! A few armdrags knocks the Animal for a loop, and Rhodes comes back in, working on the big tree limb-type arm of Animal as Dusty keeps yelling instructions from the outside. One mistake is all it takes though, and Dustin runs into the corner to try a clothesline – likely looking for his clothesline/bulldog combo – and Animal straight knocks him into next week with a forearm to the jaw! Animal makes the tag, and Hawk comes in to pick the bones clean. Hawk utilizes every power move in his arsenal, a few times going for a pin but picking the boy up at the last moment before Randy’s hand hits the mat. Dusty is in his son’s face anytime he’s down by the ring apron, pleading with his son to “just give up!” but “The Natural” never does. Hawk and Animal start to tag in and out freely, punishing young Rhodes at will. Dustin kicks out with each pinfall though, his heart shining through every time. Jesse theorizes that he’s just like his father was at that age, too stupid to stay down when he’s beaten. Steamboat keeps the crowd pumped up from the crowd as best as he can, but the punishment is getting more and more brutal, as the Warriors are going after Dustin’s neck, clearly a setup for the Doomsday Device. At one point, Dustin seems out enough that Animal is about to finally get the three, but “The Dragon” breaks up the pin! The Road Warriors finally look done with this, getting more and more frustrated at Dustin’s continued kickouts. They both get in the ring and send Dustin into the turnbuckle, but he moves from the running clothesline coming at him from Animal, and when Hawk runs forward, Dustin hits a desperation scoop slam! Rhodes crawls over, and he barely makes the tag to Ricky! “The Dragon” comes in – pun intended – a house of fire, hitting both Warriors with martial arts strikes that keep them at bay. Steamboat takes over this match in a big way, as he goes up to the top. He flies with a double karate chop to both of them! He takes Hawk by an arm ringer and walks the length of the top rope, showing far better balance than any zombie living or deceased, and drives a chop down onto his shoulder! He goes for a pin, but only a two count before Animal breaks it up! Dustin flies into the ring and hits a series of knife-edge chops inspired by his friends Ric Flair and Arn Anderson, sending Animal back into the corner, before hitting a big clothesline that sends Animal out of the ring! Steamboat goes up to the top, and Tony says that the Dragon is about to take flight – but Dusty Rhodes sees that as well. While Anderson is trying to get Dustin and Animal back to their respective corners, Dusty gets on the apron and shakes the ropes, making Ricky drop onto the turnbuckle! Animal sends Dustin into the ringsteps viciously, before getting into the ring. He pulls Steamboat onto his shoulders and walks over – Hawk leaps off with the Doomsday Device! But “The Enforcer” has seen it all, and he takes it to Vader full force. Vader is taken aback by how much Arn is able to rock him with just a few well-placed punches. Onoo doesn’t get much of a chance to stick his nose into this one, as the veteran keeps a watch on him at all times, and any opportunity he tries to take sees him scattering away when Anderson threatens to knock his lights out! But Vader is, as always, a monster that can come back to life at a moment’s notice. Vader takes the lead through the inner part of the match, punishing Anderson with a viciousness typically reserved for the gridiron. Anderson comes back after dodging a Vader Bomb, but Vader also is able to block a DDT by shoving Arn into the turnbuckle. Either way, he and Orndorff continue to show great chemistry as random partners, and Taylor and Stud are the same way albeit typically in a much more losing type of way. This is still a competitive match, as Taylor and Stud put up a good fight. Flair is, as he was earlier, confident yet not cocky, coming into this match to prove his point that diamonds and the Nature Boy are both forever, starting with maneuvering Piper back into a corner and firing off chops into his chest! Piper comes back when Mark Curtis breaks things up by hitting a cheap shot to take over. Say what you will about Piper, his offence may be somewhat straight out of the 80s sometimes, but the fans eat it up when Flair sells for it. Ric reads this match straight out of the book, getting pummeled at just the right times and coming back at just the best moments. Were he not still so talented in his own right, Roddy would be a broomstick here. But he holds his own also, making the match into what could be a main event anywhere – just like it has been since the 80s. Piper uses a thumb to the eye to stay ahead, but Flair fires back with a low blow, and they seem to be moving into a battle of out-cheating one another. The crowd loves it, as a sign specifically says “St. Louis loves Sting!” Metallica wish Sting and WCW the best, and then we turn our attention solely to the night’s main event! <div style="text-align:right;">Rating: B-</div> Well, first a video, showing how we got here. It starts with Hulk Hogan arriving in WCW and Sting being friendly, but quickly turns violent as Hogan becomes “Hollywood” and takes the World Heavyweight championship while Sting is out injured. Sting comes back and finds out that the Kings of Wrestling not only put a hit out on him from Vader and Sonny Onoo, but it was them who put him on the shelf for the month of July! Tony notes that Sting looks to be featuring a somewhat darker appearance, rather than his usual bright colored facepaint and attire. Ventura commends Sting for it, as he says, “It looks like Sting has finally learned to fight fire with fire”. The two lock up and the crowd buzz is immense. Hogan pushes Sting off and poses, but Sting returns the favor, howling to his “Little Stingers” as he does! Hollywood fires back with some cheap tactics, resorting to an eye rake and fists to the face. Schiavone calls foul, saying that Hogan can obviously hear Randy Anderson admonishing him for his actions, but he’s ignoring him. Jesse says that maybe Hogan is trying to get disqualified so he doesn’t have to face Sting in a full match. He goes on a rant halfway into this match about how he told Tony and “that ape back North” for years that Hogan was bad news, but nobody ever listened to Bobby or him, and now WCW is paying the price for it. Tony has no idea what to say about that, except that he and all the fans were duped by someone that must be a very skilled con artist. Hogan locks on a reverse chinlock, but it seems to only fire Sting up, as he gets to his feet and shoves Hogan off of him, and fires off chops and punches that send the champion reeling! The Queen screams from the outside as Sting hits a big dropkick that sends Hollywood packing out of the ring! Hollywood comes back in with a cheap shot, pulling Sting’s throat down over the top rope, and he takes over with stomps, eye rakes, and taunts. Lots of taunts. The Queen even adds a slap from the outside, before blowing a kiss at the camera and proclaiming her innocence. Hogan’s taunting comes to a crescendo when he sets Sting up by sending him to the ropes for a big boot – but Sting catches his foot! Sting shoves the champion away, sending HIM to the ropes, and hitting a big boot of his own! The Stinger runs the ropes and hits a leg drop on Hogan! The Queen freaks out now, and she climbs up on the ring apron – she’s calling in the troops! But nobody runs out! On the big screen, we see that the KoW members are being held off by a crew of WCW guys! Sting walks over and slaps The Queen on the butt! Embarrassed, she jumps down, and Sting goes back to Hollywood. He runs forward and hits him with a Stinger Splash! He whips Hollywood to the other side and hits another one! A loud howl to the crowd, and Tony says that this one could be over very soon! Sting grabs the legs – nobody can save Hollywood now! He turns it over and sits down into the Scorpion Deathlock! The Queen tries to jump in and break it up, but with one hand Sting is able to push her away! Hogan can’t do anything but be in pain, and he submits! Randy Anderson calls for the bell and the crowd goes crazy! <div style="text-align:right;">Winner: Sting Rating: A</div> Sting drops the hold and Hogan rolls out of the ring, as confetti and streamers spray down from the rafters! Tony talks about how huge a win this was for Sting and for WCW, but Jesse is more realistic – pointing out that while this was a huge win, it was still non-title. [RELEASE] iNSPIRED Angle Pack (TEW 2013)

I've been using this pack now for my "for fun" WCW Lives game, and I must say, I absolutely love it. There has only been one angle I've imported from another database, only because it's one of my quick "pop the crowd" angles, and that's diva fires t-shirts. The only thing I don't like is that there are too few menace based angles. But that could just be my own personal taste, as I use menace in angles a lot, even for attack angles. Aside from that, I've had a blast using it - it is quick and precise and easy to find the angles I'm looking for in it, rather than searching through my other datas which are either the default or one I've carried over from TEW10 which has over 3500 angles in it. If we ever get a quick names update, this will likely be the most perfect angle pack ever.

He asks does Hollywood and Nick really think that lately is the only time he’s run surveillance in the King locker room? Brian smiles, saying that it is too bad WCW doesn’t want him, because he’d be the most valuable person on their side, because he has all the information! But instead, he says it is far more fun to see things play out – but one thing is for sure, and that is the loose cannon will not be silenced! With that, he turns and clotheslines the commissioner! Hakushi is obviously doing what he can to try and hurt Arn before Starrcade in this one, and Anderson is using this match in order to send a message to his rival. Hakushi holds his own, but Arn ducks a clothesline, and after a rebound with a spinning spinebuster, the end is nigh. A sign in the crowd says that “It’s ‘Enforcer’ Time!” and Tony says that at Starrcade, it very well could be. <div style="text-align:right;">Winner: Arn Anderson Rating: C</div> Sonny Onoo jumps up on the apron and yells at Anderson then, and “The Enforcer” yells back at him that he needs to get out of his face and out of his way, but it’s a trap! <div style="text-align:center;">http://i1325.photobucket.com/albums/u628/beejus1/WCW-94/Vader.jpg</div> Vader rushes the ring and starts a huge brawl with his Starrcade opponent! But since then, Gordy has made their reunion “a pile of you-know-what” and he hates to see it have come to this, but if Terry thinks the only way to prove himself is to beat the other man in the ring, then at Starrcade, Hayes is just going to have to show that Gordy is wrong. The mouth didn’t need the muscle behind it, the muscle dragged on the mouth’s coattails all these years! Terry says only one thing: that he accepts Michael’s apology, and he has one too. He says that he’ll be sorry for what happens to Hayes when they meet in the ring at Starrcade. Hollywood says that he has always known Rick as a great athlete, and he wants to give him this chance, this one chance, to join up and - given where he came from - “be where he belongs” with the Kings of Wrestling. Martel thinks about it for a moment, before turning Hogan down. He says it is no disrespect – but that isn’t the kind of difference he’s looking to make. Hogan then turns on a dime, saying that Martel is a fool; anyone would love to get the chance that he’s offering Rick right now! To be a made man, rather than someone who gets left in the dust! Martel says that he doesn’t, nor has he ever believed in gangs, and Hollywood really hits the roof with that one. Terry Funk starts the match by giving the young man a lesson in old school brawling, Tony quipping that he didn’t learn that in any of the fine schools he’s from! Jesse gets on him, saying that only the Double Cross Ranch teaches that course, and the only ones dumb enough to be there are the Funks themselves! Lévesque gets taken into the corner and Jack tagged in, pleasing the crowd member with a sign that says “I paid for Cactus Jack”. Jack feeds off that enthusiasm to put a good hurting on Jean-Paul, while Tomas and Regal conference in the corner. Commentary talk about if Regal will add Lévesque to their group of Blue Bloods, and also wonder if this will be the last time we ever see Cactus Jack and Terry Funk able to team up. Regal eventually gets tagged in, and he works on Jack by locking him in various holds that take away his brawling edge, playing to his own game. But Terry Funk comes in and surprises by wrestling right along with Regal, before punching him in the face! Regal tags out quickly, and all hell breaks loose when Kevin Sullivan comes down to the ring and trips Cactus behind Nick Patrick’s back! Jesse Ventura agrees with a sign in the crowd, calling “Nature Boy, Dragon, and Stinger: WCW’s Dream Team”. When Sting is in the ring, he goes right for everyone in front of him, motivated by revenge on everybody on the KoW side. At one point he comes in and cleans house, and he goes over to Dusty and urges him to come in the ring! The Road Warriors have to forcibly grab Dusty and hold him back! The Kings isolate Flair on their side of the ring, with Piper especially doing what he can to torment his Starrcade opponent and long-time rival. The Road Warriors have never had any love lost for Flair, so they seem to be taking much pleasure in dealing out punishment on him. “The Dragon” gets his chance in the ring, and he does well for himself against Hawk, but he succumbs to the numbers due to the extra two on the outside of the ring, and the KoW work to dominate him as well. But that all stops when Sting takes initiative, because when Jimmy jumps up on the apron, Sting rushes over to punch him back down to the floor! A sign in the crowd says “Don’t Trust Flair again Sting!” But all he has to do right now is get the tag from him, which happens; Sting comes in and starts cleaning house, hitting Animal with a big clothesline that doesn’t take the big man down, but a big dropkick sends him out of the ring! Hawk comes over, and Sting kicks him and drills him with a piledriver – Hawk quickly gets back to his feet, but “The Dragon” flies off the top with a crossbody that drops him! The two roll out of the ring and only Sting and Roddy Piper remain! Piper tried to sneak in a cheapshot from behind, but Sting turned and caught him! Sting points at him before hammering him with kicks and chops! He sends Piper heading into the ropes, and hits a big flying clothesline on him! Piper is down and winded, and Sting quickly capitalizes; while Steamboat and Flair keep the Warriors at bay, he locks in the Scorpion Deathlock! Thanks for all the comments about the last show, and I'm glad so many are enjoying the midcard feuds just as much as the major WCW/KoW stars. I really like the Gordy/Hayes feud, it's been a highlight for me to get to do it (even if technically in GWF in this time period they were running a Freebird feud.... but I didn't know that when I started it), and yeah... Muta proves to be quite a difficult challenge, taking Brian to limits he has not found in years. Late in the match, Pillman is able to dodge a handspring back elbow to gain an edge, and he quickly exploits it, springboarding off the ropes and twisting Muta into a tornado DDT! Hayes says that he was hoping that he and Terry could talk this out like brothers, but now it looks like he’s forced to beat sense into Gordy. Gordy tells his former partner that he’s here in WCW to prove himself, and when they brought Hayes back along with him, he decided it was time to show the world that the mouth is nothing without the muscle to back it up. To make an exclamation point on top of that, he slaps Hayes so hard it knocks him back a step! Gordy says that he’s never needed Michael, and come Starrcade, he’ll never have to carry his dead weight around again. Though Rick does seem to have quite a lot of followers out there already, as signs are seen in the crowd reading “Welcome back, Model!” and “The Model No More”. Jesse Ventura says that he talked to Martel earlier tonight, and he said that this match is going to be vindicating, because it’s like looking in a mirror – just like he, Roma started in a few tag teams and now thinks he is special just because he’s “Pretty”. Hogan says that he best stop this thing about trying to expose The Queen; because in case there’s anything left of him after Big Bubba destroys him at Starrcade, Hogan has an old friend on speed dial who will be happy to do him a favor! He says that the biggest mistake Cactus made was in also making this match a street fight, because Sullivan is going to drag him all around the building to destroy him physically and then mentally! Jack says that Kevin may think he’ll destroy him physically, but many have tried and none have succeeded – but mentally, you can’t destroy what’s already been decimated, left behind on various high school gyms and auditoriums throughout the years! Jack says that Kevin has had his career firmly in line for a lot of years because WCW never has wanted to lose him, but he’s going to force his entire life to change at Starrcade! Kevin says why wait, and he punches Cactus! Match takes a little over five minutes, and that’s only because Vader is on the apron for three of them. Hakushi shows off some impressive skills, baffling Maggs and Starr both with his aerial savvy, and then he tags in Vader to massacre both men, which Vader does almost simultaneously. Hakushi comes in and sets one man on top of the other, leading to a Vaderbomb onto both, gives Sonny Onoo a big grin as he snaps pictures of Brady Boone counting the three. <div style="text-align:right;">Winners: Vader and Hakushi Rating: C</div> Vader stops briefly to flex at the mouth of the aisle, but it ends up being his undoing! <div style="text-align:center;">http://i1325.photobucket.com/albums/u628/beejus1/WCW-94/ArnAnderson.jpg</div> A swinging tire iron takes him down quickly, as “Double A” makes his presence felt! He says that he knows what Duggan means, that he hasn’t been representing this great nation as a true United States champion. He talks about how he wants to set the record straight, and give “Hacksaw” a fair fight at Starrcade, and he’ll start it right now by shaking the man’s hand. The champion puts out his hand, but Duggan is skeptical. He looks around to the crowd for their advice – most of them urging him to not trust him, though both Jesse and Bobby say that Steve is an upstanding guy. Tony groans at that one. He gets on the microphone and says that Austin very nearly had him fooled, but he knew better – he gathered his friends before coming out to the ring! The Queen eats it up though, clapping for her client as they enter the ring. Hogan takes a microphone and says that WCW have screwed him over, but he’s going to make the most of it. He says that his open challenge is what will bring the television ratings, not some boring match between “The Nature Girl” and “Stink”! But he says that this is the time that he was told to come out, because WCW think they can hold him down like this. But they can’t hold down a star like Hollywood Hogan! And that’s why he’s out here to make a scene for everyone, the scene of the conquering hero! Hogan quickly sticks to badmouthing his younger opponent, telling him that he should stay hiding behind big brother and how he doesn’t deserve this match. He jaws about how Booker will never be a King of Wrestling, how he’s a nothing, a nobody. This goes on until Booker ducks an Axe Bomber clothesline and answers back with a big Harlem Sidekick that shuts Hogan’s mouth for the rest of the match! Hollywood stalls outside the ring though, and in general his tactics serve to anger both the crowd and his hot-tempered opponent. Booker puts up far more of a fight than Hogan ever would have expected though, making the most of this chance in the spotlight, but in the end Hogan is able to “Hollywood Up” (which is just like Hulking Up except it consists of a low blow and eye rake) and hit the big boot and a legdrop to get the victory. <div style="text-align:center;">Winner: Hollywood Hogan Rating: B</div> Afterwards, Hogan takes the microphone again and says that he doesn’t care who wins the main event, because at Starrcade, he’s going to annihilate either Flair or Sting and prove that WCW has never been a match for someone like him! He tells Solie that he won’t come from behind, he’s going to run Arn right over like a freight train! Cause it’s time! It’s Vader Time! <div style="text-align:right;">Rating: B-</div> From outside, a commotion is heard, and Gordon and the cameraman head over… to see Brian Pillman! He whips a limp Bubba Rogers around by a cord around his throat, throwing the big man against a wall! They start with a handshake and a standard lockup, as the two former enemies do their best to hold up and not give the KoW what they want. But as the match wears on, the lockups get harder, the chops start to sting more (no pun intended), and the punches start to fly. About the time that Flair apologizes and shrugs after the “trick knee” gives way, this match quickly becomes Ric Flair and Sting, WCW competitors at the top of their game trying to defeat one another for bragging rights! Flair has Sting in the figure four leglock, but Sting reverses the pressure, pounding on his chest and calling to his “Little Stingers”! Flair’s fans in the audience are visible, a sign reading “WOOOOOOO!” in the air as dueling howls and “Wooo”s echo through the arena! Flair goes to the top only to get thrown off and Sting follows up with a big Stinger Splash! He sends Flair to the other side of the ring and hits another one, causing Flair to flop onto his face! He’s ready, and Sting quickly locks in the Scorpion Deathlock! Flair wastes no time in submitting, and just in time… <div style="text-align:right;">Winner: Sting Rating: B</div> <div style="text-align:center;">http://i1325.photobucket.com/albums/u628/beejus1/WCW-94/kow.jpg</div> ……the Kings of Wrestling crash the party! Sting gets smashed in the back with the WCW World Heavyweight title by Hogan himself just as Randy Anderson had called for the bell. Sting drops as the Road Warriors also come in, and they lift Flair up to drop him with a Doomsday Device! They shove Flair out of the ring, and Hogan runs over and drops a legdrop on Sting, and Hawk and Animal force Randy to count a three count on him. But Sting kicks out of it! Even with it not being a match, Sting won’t stay down! He starts to fight back, hitting everyone in a black and white t-shirt! The crowd rallies behind him, but he hesitates for a moment when he comes face-to-face with Dusty Rhodes, but Dusty doesn’t hesitate from nailing Sting with a bionic elbow square to the forehead! Hogan and the Road Warriors swarm him, attacking with belts being used like whips! Hogan whips Sting with a weightlifting belt, and when he finally seems to be lying still, they take out a can of spraypaint! Hollywood personally marks a black “KoW” down Sting’s back! The show goes off the air with Hogan saying “There’s your hero!
