  1. Anybody able to make a better render of Benny Benson (TCW). I think th eold one looks a bit goofy and the proportions of the head look a bit funny, at least when I look at it. Thanks!
  2. Any idea what the 4th title in SWF could be? Also any ideas on a good authority figure?
  3. Turning Zimmy Bumfhole heel and I know somewhere I saw a King Z alt, but could not find it anywhere. Thanks!
  4. <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="Jaysin" data-cite="Jaysin" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="41246" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>Right in this thread they are</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> Help me out. The ones I can find in this thread all have an overlay of Photobucket...</p>
  5. In my SWF game a will implement a team of Fro Sure and Lassana Makutsi as a funk/reggae fun tag team. Any idea for a cool name?
  6. <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="DatIsraeliGuy" data-cite="DatIsraeliGuy" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="41339" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>Bison made these a while ago, i love them:<p> </p><p> <img alt="u9VrpIH.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/u9VrpIH.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><img alt="ZmdBxil.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/ZmdBxil.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> Yes. Absolutely love them, too. THANKS!</p>
  7. Is there a nice re-render for Paul Huntingdon, I feel the current one does not do justice to someone who could play an important role in SWF's quest to become #1 again. Thanks.
  8. Absolutely love all the changes and new features but it feels weird to have to say good-bye to TEW2016...
  9. I have to admit I am really excited for the first time in years. If they indeed can also confirm Omega it would be beyond huge!

Seems he moved on to WMMA.</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> That would be a shame, as I think the L-Verse is our third "official" database for TEW. Just a few minor things missing, e.g. event logos and a few minor things here and there.</p><p> </p><p> I highly recommend anyone like me loving the T-Verse to take a look at the Londonverse, as it has a similar feel and is an extremely deep and fun universe. For me it has a very unique feel, a kind of 80's, 90's feel. I also think CPW is the most fun and challenging promotion to book I have ever had, kind of like an dying AWA or WCCW.</p>
  11. For a storyline purpose who could eventually buy CGC and lead it into a new direction?

  13. <p>Does anyone have any rerender for the following workers? Did search on the 1st and 2nd strike threads but could not find anything. Trying to get into a USPW game:</p><p> </p><p> Captain USA</p><p> Chris Caulfield</p><p> Krusher Karloff</p><p> Petr Novak</p><p> </p><p> Thanks!</p>

Was gonna ask in the BHOTWG thread but thought I would try here too. Booking BHOTWG and looking to add a midcard singles title. I know they had a secondary main title before (King of Fighters) and a previous mid-card title (Openweight, I think). Could re-use one of those but thought I would solicit suggestions. Not really looking to make it too targeted or create a new division for it. Just something that could give a bit more meat to any mid-card singles feuds. So suggestions and ideas for names for it?</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> I always thought a submission title would work nicely in a puro fed a give and add certain twist to matches and the title.</p>
  15. <p>Excellent feedback and agree, Allman is one of the most interesting characters in the whole TEW universe. Also cannot find any real world characters that remind me of him.</p><p> </p><p> Btw. do we know what exactly he has done in recent years to annoy so many people in the business. I mean even if he was a bit of a loud mouth that would not be so unusual for the wrestling business. Or is it the success and stigma of being a market leader? Outside of his war with AWF I only remember a fallout with Nick Hart.</p><p> </p><p> Will let you know how the women division works, kind of have a women revolution a la NXT in mind, which should not be to hard to pull off.</p>
  16. Looks really strong! Thanks for your hard work!
  17. <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="Jon The GOAT" data-cite="Jon The GOAT" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="41411" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>I think he would prefer to do the Women Division solely to show AWF how it should be done and to rob AWF of talent. <p> </p><p> Night of Intensity? I'd probably go with a Gauntlet series, Iron Man match (I think there's a Night of Endurance so I do one for Intensity and the other for Endurance), or maybe a Rumble-esque match (this can also work for Revolution). Alternatively for Revolution, maybe a MITB match featuring only non-world champions with a guaranteed title shot but made in advance (as opposed to on-the-spot like MITB.</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> Thanks as always Jon. Agree I think Allmann would actually think of a Cruiserweight division as something only entertainement companies would do. Having a women division with wrestlers and not divas would be a shot against AWF...</p>
  18. <p>What would Shane Allman rather do (or not do): Cruiserweight Division or Women Division?</p><p> </p><p> Any ideas for PWI Night of Intensity and Night of Revolution in regards to PPV concept?</p><p> </p><p> BTW, really having a blast in my PWI 2013 game. Now in March 2014 and I have the following champions:</p><p> </p><p> HW Title: Sebastian Curtis (defeated Eli Morton at Night of Glory and will be transitional champ either giving the title to Ryan Doherty (who turned on the Lotahrio Standard) or Jean-Claude Giroux)</p><p> </p><p> International Title: Go Takeshi (defeated tag team partner Jason Reed in best of five series)</p><p> </p><p> TV Title: Amaan Singh (Ranjin Vidur is injured for 6 months). Singh took the title from Kenny Foreman (who btw. is doing exceptional for me and could be main event quality at the end of the year)</p><p> </p><p> Tag Team Titles: Shay Kinsella and Richie Santana Jr.</p>
  19. In the editor how do I again get an unemployed wrestler signed with a company? Always struggling with how to do this...
  20. <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="Jon The GOAT" data-cite="Jon The GOAT" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="41343" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>Ask and you shall receive <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/eek.png.0e09df00fa222c85760b9bc1700b5405.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><p> </p><p> I tried to get Helikaon/K.C. Glenn & Brandon James this month but I couldn't compete with BHOTWG and SWF respectively and so they've remained in their home companies. I did manage to keep Edd Stone without having to worry about competition. </p><p> </p><p> Kip Keenan & Silver Tiger wanted out of development so they've been brought out and have been working dark matches. Keenan got to team up American Buffalo on the main card but it was a one-off.</p><p> </p><p> TCW's Just Another Day?:</p><p> </p><p> Pre-Show: El Mitico Jr. def. Silver Tiger - D+: Spotty match, and they just about missed out on getting on the show's opener. I like them both but there's no room on the main card yet, sadly. Don't expect much for them till we are past Total Mayhem at least. Unless we get Showcase over the next week or two. It should've been 3 months by now.</p><p> </p><p> “Captain Charisma” Bart Biggins & “Dazzling” Dave Diamond, The Elite - Eddie Chandler & Nate Johnson & Mobstar def. Kip Keenan, “Flying” Jimmy Fox & “Shocking” Matt Hocking, Elliot Thomas, Tigre Salvaje Jr. - C-: Opening match just to get guys on the card. Tigre/Mobstar are technically making their on-screen competitive debut in this match. Dave Diamond gets the pinfall win for the more experienced side. The press-conference to really open the show happened after this.</p><p> </p><p> “Underrated” Mighty Mo def. “Straight Shooter” Joel Bryant - C+: A straightforward rankings match between an up and comer and a veteran. Mo gets a PPV win after not having one in a while. I imagine this to be an impressive win considering it's over this hard-hitting gritty veteran. While I want to push Mo, I realize that there's no reason not to take my time really. </p><p> </p><p> “Future Legend” Jay Chord def. “Necessary” Giant Tana - B-: After having lost to Giant Tana thanks to Mo distraction, and having a hard time getting over the big guy in tag matches, he finally challenged him to a match. He gets the job done at the PPV to continue a steady rise up the ladder. He reflects after the match that he's pissed that he's so low on the card, he deserves to be in one of the bigger matches.</p><p> </p><p> The New Wave - Guide & Scout def. Devine Fortune - Darryl Devine & Chance Fortune & The Machines - Brent Hill & John Anderson - B+: This match actually ended up going really well and was one of the better matches of the night. All three teams were doing well on the road to Just Another Day? (although New Wave usually fraternizes more with the main eventers than the other tag teams since they're on another level) so they were rewarded with a #1 contendership match. The New Wave wins to get a shot against either The Behemoths or The Canadian Animals, finally hoping to return to their throne.</p><p> </p><p> TCW Tag Team: The Canadian Animals - Freddy Huggins & Edd Stone def. The Behemoths - Killer Shark & Titan - B: The Behemoths bullied Edd Stone all month while Freddy Huggins was injured but Edd kept fighting back till Freddy returned. They got the title shot they earned and actually had a really solid match. They actually lose when Killer Shark & Titan ignore the ref's orders and keep beating on The Canadian Animals. The New Wave manage to save The Canadian Animals only to take them out themselves. This will be a three way tag match for the tag titles. The Behemoths remain champions. </p><p> </p><p> TCW International: “Speedball” Marc Speed vs. “Dr. Love” Danny Fonzarelli - B: Not a long match and this was always just a set up for Marc Speed to gain even more pop. He beats Danny handily in 10 minutes and continues to be a strong TCW International champion. Speed is perfect in his role here as the midcard workrate champion and I see no reason to stop that. Fonz didn't want to put Speed over but Fonz is also on his way out the door. </p><p> </p><p> “The Most Must-See” Troy Tornado def. “The All American American” American Buffalo & “The Charismatic Enigma” Benny Benson: - B-: Boils down to a ranking match between three of the upper midcarders trying to break into the main event. Tornado kept causing Buffalo to lose in their tag matches because he's got the lead on the two. Kyle Rhodes, the on-screen authority figure, officially announced this to get one of them to break from the pack. Admittedly, I don't have big plans for any of these three and aren't super invested in their characters so I want them to go down the card for more interesting guys.</p><p> </p><p> “Lightning Bruiser” Eddie Peak def. “The Man With The Worst Personality” Bryan Vessey - B-: Eddie Peak spent most of this month around the main event scene wrecking guys. He's been mostly booked as completely unstoppable and hasn't been pinned to date. Vessey returned from his suspension and Rhodes made this singles match a thing. This was a lengthy 20-minute plus match with Vessey not backing one bit from the monster but getting pretty wrecked in the process. Vessey wasn't happy to put over Eddie Peak but it barely made a dent Vessey's pop while Peak's really coming into his own as a main eventer. Downside is that Peak was off his game and BADLY underperformed in this match. </p><p> </p><p> “The Monster Monster’s Fear” Marat Khoklov def. “The World’s Most Dangerous Man” Buddy Garner - B: Buddy Garner was all too glad to take on Marat Khoklov since he's all about the challenge. He got the shit beat out of him on the road to tonight but always kept getting back into Khoklov's face in their many tag team matches. They face off and while Buddy Garner got very nearly close to make Khoklov sleep, it's Khoklov and he murdered him with the lariat in ten minutes. Khoklov has been great in his run in TCW and I hope his TD is far because I'm in love and I want him around for a long time. He's great!</p><p> </p><p> “The King of Rock Style” Sammy Bach def. “Cowboy” Ricky Dale Johnson - B+: Surprisingly this was our MOTN thanks to some chemistry between these two. This was basically for an unofficial spot as the #2 face in the company. Bach and Johnson got on each other's nerves in the build up, one upping each other in tag team matches and what not until RDJ finally decided to settle it like a gentleman with a match. He wasn't too pleased to put over Bach but actually gained pop from it. I want to keep Bach but his contract expires in a month so I'm making no plans for him for Total Mayhem, I don't believe there's any chance we actually keep him. Next PPV may be his final one for us.</p><p> </p><p> TCW World Heavyweight: “The Ace” Aaron Andrews def. “Your Favorite Wrestler’s Favorite Wrestler” Rocky Golden & “Bro” Joshua Taylor - B: I have no idea what happened with this one. Aaron Andrews and Rocky Golden both had amazing performances and Joshua Taylor really shouldn't have tanked this match that bad. My guess is the "Open" note made them not sell enough and that hurt the match. In any case, this just vastly underperformed. This match came together because Taylor and Golden had a singles in which Andrews accidentally cost Taylor the contendership match. I also discovered Taylor & Golden did not have chemistry during that match so there went a Total Mayhem plan. Golden offered his shot to Taylor but Rhodes made it a triple threat. A lengthy affair that Andrews emerges victorious from (not to Golden's pleasure backstage). Taylor and Andrews got really solid boosts from this one and Golden went up a pop. Golden's contract expires right after Total Mayhem in case you're wondering why I haven't given him the belt. Andrews & Taylor to face off in a singles match next PPV main event. </p><p> </p><p> It was an underwhelming PPV (80) which did not please our new providers America-1-Select. Rocky Golden & Sammy Bach feel like they are bound to leave us so my signing of Khoklov may have been a delaying of the inevitable. This month I'm just hoping I can start Showcase so my new guys can get a place to shine.</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> Very interesting and great stuff! If I would not be into my current PWI so much I would start a TCW game now...</p>
  21. Interesting, if I did not have great fun with my PWI game I would actually look into booking Puro in TV as well after reading your post. Whenever I am booking Puro Wrestling in TEW I also watch some old All Japan or New Japan of the 90's, great inspiration.
