1. This is by far my favorite thread on this forum. I love reading what is going on with others game even if it is a quick little snipet.
 2.

Bulldozer Brandon Smith.

Guy is Vader and could be one of the best gaijins in Japan history or should be main eventing TCW by now. Like I would love to see an alliance between PGHW and TCW based on him and Bryan Vessey, etc.

I dont know if I consider him overrated. I know most people pick him up in their company. A quality big guy who can work heel or face.

 3.

Money in the Bank:

Women's MITB - Good match. Not many memorable spots but the women did well for their first attempt at this type of match. The ending with Ellsworth and Carmella was great, especially with how hot the crowd were.

New Day vs Usos - Good match. Cheap finish and a few botches aside the last 5 minutes had some cool sequences. The Usos should not lose until SummerSlam.

Lana vs Naomi - OK match. Lana is closer to Brie's level than Eva's, which is impressive this early on in her training. It should have been non-title, though.

Mike & Maria Kanellis (aka The First Lady of WWE and her Cucked Husband) - I like the gimmick so far.

The Maharaja vs Orton - Good match. I didn't expect to like it much but I was pleasantly surprised. I just wish they had let Jinder use the RKO to win because the heat would have been nuclear.

Breezango vs Ascension - I skipped the match because I wanted American Alpha not Ascension. Hopefully that's still to come.

Men's MITB - Great match. Corbin was a good choice but Zayn would have been better, IMO.

Verdict: Good PPV with a hot crowd. I enjoyed it more than Extreme Rules.

I was at the show. I think its my 8th PPV and probably went to 8-10 Raw's over the years. Jinder got the loudest heel heat I have ever heard personally. I know a lot of it is smark heat because he is the new big guy pushed to the moon by Vince but still. A reaction is a reaction. A lot of it was facing Orton too since St Louis is Orton's home town.

 4. In my old TCW game I made it to 2018 and bought out 21st. I then took Tommy Cornell and Edward Cornell. I recreated the Syndicate with Tommy Cornell, Edward Cornell, Roger Cage and Greg Gauge. Greg and Edward took the role of the machines, Tommy as the lead dog, and Roger as the mid card. Wolf Hawkins was my top babyface at the time. I remember I had a big 4v4 war games style blow off to the feud with Wolf Hawkins, Matthew Keith, and some tag team that I want to say was Ernest Youngman/Logan Wolfsbaine.

In my early saves with TEW16 I found the same thing as you. But my latest ones seem to be that they last longer for some reason.

I have a big group of guys that start with little no popularity all in my main event scene. Hellion is killing it for me.

 9. I ran a stable called Revolution with Peak, Titan, Killer Shark and Floyd Goldworthy. I rename Eddie Peak to Defiance, Titan stuck with the name and Killer Shark was renamed to Kratos. Eventually I had Goldworthy bring in Marat to replace Peak as the leader and Peak turned face. I got Peak up to mid 90's pop from this stable though.

I said doing that is the same as failing. 11.
Two of my favorite saves were due to young talent having excellent chemistry. In my SWF save I had Ernest Youngman and Logan Wolfsbaine have excellent chemistry their first show as enhancement tag team. I booked them every single show. It took almost a year but eventually they had a high enough pop that I could use them as my top face team. They both turned into fantastic workers with 90's psychology too.

My current save I started as a Small company and am now at Regional. I had El Mitico Jr and American Elemental II have excellent chemistry as an enhancement face tag team as well. I am now pushing them the same way I did with Ernest and Logan.

One guy I seem to snap up a lot but doesn't seem to get much love from others is Bradford Peverell. He is older but he has really good brawling to start and good enough basics/psychology.

Itching to just PLAY a bit. And I haven't given the Cverse a real proper save on TEW 2016. Think I spent too much time in the CV in testing but now I kinda have that itch. The SOTBPW thread got me thinking but looking thru the Cverse, its the SWF and TCW that appeal the most. I'm still going back and forth a bit between those two.

TCW is a tough game on 2016. So much tougher of a save than when you could just spam Tommy Cornell all the way to glory. The rise of USPW and SOTBPW make it impossible to keep top stars. I ran a 1 year test save recently, and TCW lost Sammy Bach (who became SWF's figurehead because Jack Bruce died), Rocky Golden, Wolf Hawkins, and Jay Chord within that year. Just brutalized the top of the roster. I like some of the tips in here of using positive meddling to build some relationships but that might not be enough. I feel like I need to approach a TCW save with the expectation that some top guys are going to be stolen. And stealing top stars from other companies doesn't seem too likely - even if you play as the owner, taking on massive contracts will be financially crippling.

The approach of signing Marat to help in the national battles... it makes sense but I'm just loathe to do it. He's not the kind of worker I want to build the company around. I'm a sucker for the monster Russian heel but just not feeling it in TCW. With his Menace, Killer Shark could be built up relatively quick but I would rather groom him a bit slower, I think.

I think my approach for a new save will be to accept that there will be top name losses, accept that there may be a drop to Cult, but focus on the long-term and build for the future. I can start 2 touring developmental companies at the smallest possible size - with good workers, a workrate product, and regular shows, the companies and the workers should improve quickly. Especially if I snap up a lot of the indy talent, and lock any sure stars (Greg Gauge, Ernest Youngman, DWN, etc) up on 10 year deals.

One thought I had, probably because I was recently playing a WWF 1987 save with all the awesome managers they had, was to use managers and stables quite a bit. There aren't TONS of top quality available managers in the Cverse... but there are a few good ones. By having a couple of them lead alliances/families/stables, it can create long-term feud continuity even if I lose some of the workers involved.

I ran a 3 year game with TCW. I think it was my first save for TEW16. I did like you mentioned and signed up all the good young indy talent like Youngmann, Guage, Wolfsbaine, El Mitico Jr, Roger Cage, etc etc. I didnt sign Marat but I just used Eddie Peak as my high menace heel monster. I changed his name and built a stable around him with Killer Shark and Titan as his henchmen. He reached mid 90's popularity and I constantly did angles with Shark/Titan in them with him so they were gaining pop along side him.

Eventually when SWF, SOTBPW, and USPW started stealing my top guys I was able to easily replace them with better quality workers that were not all that too far below in Pop.

The biggest key for me was running two PPV's monthly simple for the cash. I was able to start my own broadcaster. It took awhile for me to build it up enough to move TCW over to it but I wanted it for my developmental. I gave them a prime time show on my broadcaster and was able to quickly build up their pop. A lot of times I was calling guys up that had the same overness as my midcard already which is really nice.

 15. I hate to break it to you but WWE goes to India in like September. He is going to be the Champ still when the shows roll around. For every heel promo he cuts for America they are having him cut babyface promos for the India Youtube channel.

All super young and all super cheap.

It helps that Jack Bruce is also under contract with HGC so he is gaining popularity quick.

 17. 100% agree. Right now 90% of my roster is 80 pop or above so its alarming when I have a B match let alone B show.
 18. He is awesome but he is a worse headache then Jay Chord in the default database. Literally every show I had him he got into an incident. Eventually I just had to fire him.
 19. I dont know what causes a wrestler body type to change on its own. I have a habit of asking my developmental workers to bulk up because it adds star quality when they do bulk up. About 1 in 5 bites me in the ass though. They become flabby and lose star quality.
 20. This is pretty much me spot on. I think Gungner may be my twin. I seem to agree with most of the things you post

Disappointing for him, but also for me because I wanted him badly and would have hired him on the spot after his really good performance in that match.

Fast forward one year later, I sign him just over a month before he has recovered in the hopes that he can eventually replace Shooter Sean Deeley, who decided to leave for USPW where he's now jobbing to untalented giants.

Looking at my medical screen, I see Youngman can be treated surgically with a very low risk. I decide to do the surgery, what could go wrong , right?

Well, the surgeon messed up and now he's out for another 13 months. Hopefully this doesn't mean the end of his in-ring career.

He's available for angles, so I wonder if I should give him some kind of out-of-ring role in the meantime, but haven't thought that through yet.

I'm legitimately pissed, I love this game!

Ya I feel your pain. I have had similar luck with a couple guys being out for over a year multiple times

 22. Have you posted this render without the make up? I have been looking for a new Jack Bruce
