  1. <p>TIL I had one of my opening jobbers turn into a lights out performer. Kentucky Bill or Oliver Knobb was already petty good but I just looked at him and have noticed his performance stats are through the roof.</p><p> </p><p> <span>http://i.imgur.com/ERKTazE.png</span></p><p> </p><p> Not bad for a guy that hardly makes it on the main card</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> <span>http://i.imgur.com/mdiQYBI.png</span></p>

Orton is a pretty decent in ring general despite his annoying mannerisms and being devoid of charisma. I expect Harper interference. If the Broken Hardy Family hadn't just won the ROH tag titles, I'd expect them to debut here honestly, but can't see that happening now unless they drop the belts at Supercard of Honor.</p><p> </p><p> Goldberg© vs Lesnar- The main event of a more than likely overly long show isn't going past five minutes tops. Ridiculous. My only hope is that Lesnar wins and then Joe starts chasing Lesnar. </p><p> </p><p> Jericho© vs Owens- Will probably be the match of the night. Jericho and Owens are fantastic and work well together. Can't say enough about how excited I am for this one.</p><p> </p><p> Bayley© vs Charlotte vs Sasha- Would have preferred if Charlotte was still champion here leading to Bayley winning the belt for the first time at Mania, but whatever. Three talented women and the only match announced so far that could rival Owens/Jericho as best match of the night.</p><p> </p><p> Gallows & Anderson vs Enzo/Cass or Cesaro/Sheamus- Don't care about this despite me being a huge fan of everyone except Sheamus. Haven't been given a reason to care sadly.</p><p> </p><p> Alexa Bliss© vs All Smackdown women- Could be fun for a car wreck style match. </p><p> </p><p> Andre the Giant Battle Royal- Hard to form any thoughts when Mojo and Apollo are the only two announced so far.</p><p> </p><p> I would have preferred to see AJ Styles be champion going into the show, but at least he'll be on the show. He's easily the best performer WWE has right now. Can't wait to see what he does.</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> My thoughts...on your thoughts <img alt=":)" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/smile.png.142cfa0a1cd2925c0463c1d00f499df2.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> Bray/Orton - Best told story on the show. It has been a little soap operay but that's ok. This isn't a popular opinion but Randy Orton is the best in ring performer in WWE not named AJ Styles. He has been for a decade. The problem is he doesn't have a flashy spotfest move set that today's generation thinks you require. This is the reason all the old timers consistently all say he is the best in WWE. He very much is this generations Triple H. He won't be remembered as the top star like Cena and he won't even get the credit but he was as consistent as it gets. Orton and Bray both have a history of delivering at big shows and nothing bigger than this. I think it will be great.</p><p> </p><p> Goldberg vs Lesnar - The story is there. The mainstream attention is there. But I agree with you. If this match goes over 5-7 minutes it will fall off the rails badly. No chance Goldberg wins. Lesnar walks away as Universal champion in the last year of his contract.</p><p> </p><p> Jericho vs Owens - The second best story being told. I too think this will be match of the night (and I will even include Cruiserweight below). Owens is so damn good. Jericho has lost a step in the speed department but works circles around the competition in the psychology department. I hope they get to go 20 minutes to show what they can do. Owens will walk away as champion. Jericho has a summer tour with the band to attend to and WWE will need a top "champion" to main event house shows since Lesnar will be off to his farm in Canada.</p><p> </p><p> Bayley vs Sasha vs Charlotte (vs Nia) - I agree it is pretty much ruined. Charlotte should still be champion with Bayley capturing her first title at Wrestlemania. Charlotte should NOT have lost on RAW and should have retained by some sort of Sasha interference at Fastlane. This sets up Bayley pinning Sasha at Wrestlemania. It keeps Charlotte's streak of "not being pinned at a PPV" in tact even though she lost. It sets up the Sasha heel turn since she was the one pinned and puts Bayley on top of the mountain as the champion. In my opinion there is 3 wins right there. But yet we get this clusterf*ck of Bayley going into Mania. I say Bayley retains.</p><p> </p><p> Raw Tag Title Triple Threat - I honestly don't know or care? I say maybe Enzo and Cass wins here for a "wrestlemania moment" but I could honestly see any of them winning. </p><p> </p><p> Alexa Bliss vs All SD Women - Should be a cluster with probably Becky coming out with the title. Alexa has been absolutely fabulous with the title but I don't see a heel winning these stipulations. It wouldn't make any sense. I could honestly see anyone except Alexa winning here. I think Becky though.</p><p> </p><p> Andre the Giant Battle Royal - If Bruan is in this he will win. I don't think he has a match scheduled and this would be a good way to put him over even further without exposing him in a 1on1 match. Have the match come down to Braun vs Big Show with Braun winning.</p><p> </p><p> Additional matches since your post</p><p> </p><p> Neville vs Aries - Cruiserweight title match with potential match of the night possibility if given the time. Both are seasoned veterans who have traveled the world. I wouldn't book Neville's title reign to come to an end quite yet. I would have him cheat to win and keep his belt here. Aries should be built extremely strong though.</p><p> </p><p> Roman vs Undertaker - This is probably the least interested I have been in an Undertaker Mania match since Wrestlemania 22 against Mark Henry. Even the Bray match and last years Shane McMahon match had me more interested. And this is coming from a guy that isn't a Roman hater and thinks Roman is pretty darn great. I love the character Roman has going for him now. He is basically acting 100% heel by calling out the Undertaker. All signs point to Roman going over the Undertaker here. The red hot new "IT guy" against the aging veteran who looked like he was having trouble even walking at Royal Rumble. I still wouldn't be shocked to see Taker go over in a fantastic match that hardly no one will give credit to. If this is Takers last match he needs to lose to cement Roman as "the guy". Follow this up with Roman vs Cena next year as the show closer to really cement him.</p><p> </p><p> Ambrose vs Corbin - should be a fall count anywhere streetfight type match that Dean wanted out of Lesnar.</p><p> </p><p> John Cena/Nikki Bella vs Miz/Maryse - I hate this match. Even though it will be highly tauted as a "big match" it is nothing more than a throw away. The Miz has earned a top match at Mania with his year. John Cena even as part time as put on some amazing matches with Styles this year. To be thrown into a mix tag match is rather dumb. Maryse is not very good in the ring at all and Nikki is passable at best. End result of the match is probably Cena/Nikki hitting double finishers for the win. I dont see Cena letting Miz go 2-0 against him at Mania.</p><p> </p><p> Shane McMahon vs AJ Styles - Very disappointing for AJ to be stuck in this one. I realize it is probably the #2 match on Smackdown but with AJ Styles close to pushing 40 already he really only has maybe 5 total Mania's in him. For a guy that is called the greatest wrestler of this generation you would think you take full advantage of those 5 and match him up with the cream of the crop WWE has to offer. To me that is AJ/Cena (which now we have seen a million times), AJ/Roman (we have seen before but not Mania), AJ/Orton, AJ/Rollins and we have to eventually have AJ/Nakamura at Wrestlemania one time before AJ retires and Nakamura goes back to Japan. AJ will make the most of the situation and Shane will do something rememberable. Their spotfest will go 20 minutes and leave a lot of broke furniture behind. </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> I know its not a popular opinion but I am excited for Mania week. I see a lot of bashing about Mania all over the place but thats just typical wrestling (mostly WWE) fans. Every match on the card to me brings something different with potential for a big match. Personally I cant stand the idea of Goldberg vs Lesnar but I have a 9 year old son that loves wrestling and that is all he talks about. Some times we look at this through our jaded smark eyes and forget about the Casual Fans. Wrestlemania week is probably the one week of the year I go dark when it comes to Wrestling websites, twitter, reddit, discussion boards etc. I don't want anything ruined for me. I started that about 5 years ago and it was the smartest thing I ever did.</p>

  4. Screw you random injuries. First about 6 months into the game I decided to give Mikey James a big push in my SWF game. I finally get him over enough to challenge for the title and the TV show before a big event he gets a herniated spinal disc. This is a severe injury with over a year return time table Screw you injuries! Now over a year later I have been pushing a Jimmy Hernandez and Kirk Jameson tag team to the moon. The point is to eventually have Jimmy turn heel setting up a huge match at Supreme Challenge. This storyline has been about 6 months in the making. Now I am a little over a month away from Supreme Challenge and Kirk Jameson just went down with the same herniated spinal disc. Screw you injuries.

But I have found that if I used Storytelling with my older veterans that I typically get better matches out of them. I am using SWF and I am about 3 years in. I use Storytelling for Jack Bruce matches all the time and they typically get higher ratings than without it.</p>
  6. <p>I took Fleisch's real world data and made RAW, Smackdown, and NXT their own promotions to simulate a true brand war. I took a couple creative liberties to make it work out but for the most part i like how it turned out.</p><p> </p><p> I am getting ready to start a game as Smackdown</p>

Their first match ended in controversy after Danny Jillefski turned heel and cost Law the win. Jillefski's erratic decisions as USPW Commissioner had been called out by Dawn Gemmell, Law's former manager (she resigned that post so Law wouldn't be directly affected by her questioning Jillefski's authority -- how'd that work out, Dawn?), and their dispute will end with Dawn getting her own brand and show. This particular part of the program was setting Law up as the No. 1 face for what will become Dawn's "National" brand (Unnamed show on Monday nights. The "American" brand is USPW American Wrestling, the Wednesday show.)</p><p> </p><p> At TT, Frehley will defend against Nicky Champion <strong>and</strong> Marat Khoklov, who fought to a double countout at Born In The USA. Khoklov arrived in late February, joined forces with the Cold Warriors, and targeted Champion immediately. After getting backup from Law for a while, Champion and Khoklov finally faced off 1-on-1 at Independence Day Slam, with Champion winning. Khoklov spent the next few months chasing a rematch and got it.</p><p> </p><p> As far as the split goes, I'm planning a 5v5 Survivor Series-style match with Jillefski and Dawn picking teams, and the winning team will get the first overall draft pick. There will also be a women's 5v5 match, and the entire women's division will go to the winning captain's show.</p><p> </p><p> Nadia Snow returned to USPW and immediately targeted Alicia Strong, blaming Alicia for her departure the first time. Melody got pulled into the fray and lost and regained the Women's title (to/from Alicia) before Nadia won a four-way for the belt at Born In The USA that also included Raquel Alvarado. Nadia has a clean win over Alicia at IDS, and Alicia got it back a couple of weeks ago on TV. They'll break the tie in a 2/3 falls match at TT.</p><p> </p><p> Joss Thompson is my current TV champ, but that wasn't the plan. A match notes mistake caused Krusher Karloff to lose the belt to James Justice (?) on TV. So I had Joss win it in a Triple Threat match against Justice and Tyson Baine. Thompson's storyline has been him targeting all of USPW's longtime veterans, who he calls "talentless" and blames for him having to go to Britain for more than a decade "where my skills are actually appreciated."</p><p> </p><p> Thompson's push is one of my owner goals, along with pushes for Casey Valentine and Jumbo Jackson. For this to work, someone had to turn face and I picked Jumbo because so many of USPW's hosses are heels. He won the National title before he turned, and he's my second-longest reigning champion after Frehley. I've slowed down Casey's push for now, but both of these guys are going to be major players on the National brand.</p><p> </p><p> SWF outbid us for Rocky Golden, but not for Sammy Bach. (They also just lost Remo to SOTBPW and have added Eddie Peak.) Bach's impending arrival ticked off Trent Shaffer, who hates sharing the spotlight. Bach beat Shaffer in his in-ring debut at United States of Pain!, but this feud isn't settled, either.</p><p> </p><p> The tag division's gotten an overhaul and the belts have been moving. I've signed American Demolition (Bulldozer Brandon Smith & Findlay O'Farraday), The Rock City Stars, The Ring Generals and The Dirty White Boys, and created The Money Players (Andre Jones & Julius Moor) and All-American Perfection (Nelson Callum & Kip Keenan). Petr Novak got popped for roids (because of course he did) on my first show, so The Cold Warriors dropped the belts to Natural Storm a week later. American Demolition won the titles in April, but lost to The Towers of Power at IDS, who only held them for a month before losing them to the Dirty White Boys, who just successfully defended in a return match.</p><p> </p><p> Opened a development fed, Legacy Pro Wrestling. Notable names include Ross Henry, Philippe LaGrenier, Logan Wolfsbaine and inaugural champion Hustle Muvva (renamed Jamal Byrnes.)</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> Sounds fun...I have played a TCW game that lasted about 2 years game time. I am now in the middle of a SWF game that is 2+ years game time. Typically I never played as TCW or SWF. The biggest promotion I usually started with was USPW in previous versions of TEW. I have yet to play a USPW game this year. I keep contemplating a CGC game but USPW probably wont be too fat behind it</p>
  8. Looks like DDP is going into the Hall of Fame. If anyone deserves to be in a fake hall of fame its DDP lol

They have always been on separate brands. Now with Primus and Hellion more over than Marat I am working on phasing him out. I recently resigned Rich Money so Remo has been doing a lot of tags recently. He spent the first 18 months game time as my #1 heel</p>

Valiant has been in an overarching story since the beginning about him finally winning his first SWF title and I've really enjoyed booking it. He has lost number 1 contender's matches. Made it far in tournaments and battle royals to fall short and has never gotten a title match for the entire save. He's been turned on by his protege Spade, attacked by Vengeance and sent into a long losing streak.. basically everything to derail him over almost a year and a half. Now the booking has made it look like Jimmy Hernandez is about to leapfrog him for the title leading up to Supreme Challenge. He's finally going to breakthrough and win the title off Joey Morgan (who has been booked strong and has had insane matches to finally bring the title prestige to 100) and get his "Supreme Moment".<p> </p><p> Heels are usually more fun because they are generally driving the conflict. When you're booking, you probably notice the heel more because you're like "oh the heel does this to the face to move the story along". The face is usually reactionary in the story telling of a feud and good faces generally are just overcoming odds. I can see why it's harder to get excited for faces but I don't know if that's something exclusive to SWF.</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> Yep I agree. I have more or less booked Valiant as my figurehead. I was going to place him in that role until I did a brand split and went on a signing spree. Within a 3 month time I had tons of big names hit the free agent market so it was too much to pass up. I did a tri-brand split for about a year game time after calling up a ton of guys. Eventually that was burning me out so I dropped one brand, releasing a few aging guys, and then sticking with the dual brand split.</p><p> </p><p> Good news is that most of the guys I released all went to TCW and they are finally turning the corner. They were in pretty bad shape for the past 6 months or so after losing literally everyone to either SWF, USPW, or SOTBPW.</p>

I know that I'm definitely gonna attempt to seriously pull the trigger on his push and already have a feud in place for him.<p> </p><p> American Machine has been feuding with The Platinum Blondes in his absence, struggling to beat the numbers game and again struggling when recruiting other tag team partners. When Des returns he will steamroll the Blondes basically single handed. I intend to have him give a good showing in the battle royale at Welcome To The Jungle and use that same match to set up a feud for him with a bona fide main eventer (probably Brandon) and I've even hired a guy and slapped an evil foreigner gimmick on him with the express intention of building him only for Des to smash him. </p><p> </p><p> I don't even have any great love for Des but I decided to see if I could really get behind him and launch him as a proper top level star on this save file just because A) I've never really done much with him before and B) I want to dispel the myth that it's only fun to book heels in the SWF</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> Nice. Ya I feel like all my "up and coming" stars are all heels. The only big time faces that are home grown are Valiant and Jimmy Hernandez. My other high level faces are all stolen from else where like Rocky Golden, Wolf Hawkins and Nicky Champion.</p>
  12. I had the same problem with Des. Part of the problem is he also had excellent chemistry with three different people tagging. The first was Steven Parker so I had them team for a good 6 months until Parker turned on him and elevated to Main Event. Then randomly I had him team with Ross Henry which again was excellent chemistry. Eventually Ross just kept gaining popularity and had to leave him behind. Now a couple months ago in a throw a way dark match I teamed Des with El Mitico Jr and they had excellent chemistry. So I am running with them as my Mid Card babyface team for the time being.
  13. <p>We are still taking some more submissions if you have any. Those that have a render in mind (I don't care if it is used in another mod as long as we have permission) jump to the front of the line.</p><p> </p><p> I am helping out I effing rule. I have the total workers up to about 1050. My goal was to get around 1200 total if that is possible. I made it to Global in about 2 years by running 2 PPV's a month purely for financial gain. I also bought out several companies in other regions that gave me their popularity.</p>
  22. <p>I have a Global SWF company. Recently I brought in two Japanese workers to add to my tag division. </p><p> </p><p> I need a tag team name for Funakoshi and Bunrakuken. I have Travis Century and Krissy Angelle I could use. Century was managing Hellion but I feel like Hellion has out grown him so he has broke free on his own. Krissy Angelle was managing Greg Gauge for the last year and has developed some great Entertainment (80+ in all three) stats by cutting promo's for Gauge. Recently I restarted the Syndicate with Tommy Cornell, Edward Cornell, Roger Cage and Greg Gauge. Tommy and Roger cut most of the promos so I dont feel the need to keep Krissy with Greg.</p><p> </p><p> So I could use Krissy or Travis as a manager for them. Not sure if either really fits with them though</p>
