  1. I'm glad to be of assistance. I do certainly think you could put DDT and TJPW higher in the West than AJPW, but in Japan, I think the attendance figures overall show they are behind - TJPW much more so than DDT at least. So in TEW's global rankings, TJPW and DDT might make up some ground in comparison to AJPW, but in Japan, I think AJPW has pretty clearly locked into the #5 spot at this point. I'm happy to chat more via DM too if you have any questions or want to see more data!!
  2. One more thing - for the issue you lay out about CyberFight and the broadcasters, could this be resolved by just making 3 copies of the WrestleUniverse broadcaster and having each unique one owned by one of the CF companies?
  3. Hey Devil, thank you so much for the work here. I am getting back into the game and really excited to try some stuff out. I wanted to ask if you should make some adjustments to the overall popularity levels of companies in Japan. I've been tracking attendance data for most of 2022 and the pecking order is a bit different than what is reflected in the game. I have data to back up the claim, so I've attached one of my references. Here's how I think it breaks down. NJPW and STARDOM are the clear #1 and #2 right now. STARDOM has seen a huge boost from Bushiroad involvement and the crossover with NJPW. NJPW is far and away in the lead, and STARDOM is clearly the #2 by most measurements. In the mod, STARDOM is behind DDT, NOAH and Dragongate. NOAH and Dragongate are both floating around #3. I think Dragongate should probably be #3 as they are more of a nationwide touring brand while NOAH is more narrowly focused in a few regions, but this is pretty close. AJPW should be #5 either way as their metrics are all pretty consistent (they are #8 in Japan in the mod, not counting WWE and AEW). DDT should be right after - their numbers have really been impacted by COVID and have yet to recover. They are #2 of the Japanese companies in the mod. TJPW has grown a ton over the last year or so and should be right behind DDT. GLEAT and FREEDOMS both have pretty solid attendances, so they should definitely be ahead of BJW and ZERO1, who have both fallen pretty far and are pretty much non-factors at this point. BJW is currently the #6 in Japan in your mod (not counting WWE and AEW), when they should probably be closer to #10 or #11. Sorry for the infodump, but I hope this can help you tweak popularity levels to be a bit more reflective of the current scene. Thank you for considering.
  4. Not NOAH related, but I also added the Ganbare logo and new TJPW logo.
  5. Hey all, long-time player here who's dipping back in a bit. Took me longer than I'd like to admit to find the new forums 😆 Anyway, I made a few new logos and pictures for Pro-Wrestling NOAH since I am hoping to start a dynasty as them soon. I've attached what I've made so far. Looking forward to the next update! I actually ended up making new cuts for pretty much the entire NOAH roster. Posted it as a .zip. Still getting used to Photoshop, so please let me know if there are any errors. Hope this helps. NOAH.zip
  6. Thanks. It's the most fun I've had with a game in a long time, so I am glad people enjoy reading along.
  7. So for the first time in a long time I am actually playing a game as Big Japan and having a great time. By playing, I mean I am not cheating and just adding money to my company via the editor. I am really trying to play realistically, trying to look at contract costs, booking cheaper guys while trying to sell tickets, etc. It's turned into a lot more fun this way as I am exploring tons of areas of the game I usually ignore. Something that has come to mind is creating my own venue. BJW does have a dojo/warehouse where they have ran empty arena shows, so I am wondering what the economics are of creating a small, 100 capacity venue (only costs $2,400 to do that) and getting the 40% reduction in payments for the talent I book on the show. Has anyone created a venue like this? How does it work out financially in the long run? Are ticket sales impacted or reduced? Any advice on this is helpful. Thanks.

  9. BJW 9/23 Korakuen Hall results! <div style="background-color:#FF4500;color:#000000;border-style:solid;border-width:3px";"> </div> After a disappointing Korakuen Hall gate on 9/14, BJW really turned it around last night, drawing a much improved 1,991 fans to Korakuen Hall for the final night of first round action in the 2020 Saikyo Tag Tournament. <hr color = orangered> BJW BJW "Saikyo Tag Tournament ~ First Round", 9/23/20 (Samurai! TV) Tokyo Korakuen Hall 1,991 fans Show Rating: 45 1. Shinobu, Koju Takeda, Kota Sekifuda & Tatsuhiko Yoshino defeated Yuya Aoki, Kazuki Hashimoto, Drew Parker & Kosuke Sato (9:43) when Shinobu used the S.E.X. on Sato. 40 Fun junior showcase opener here. There's no current challenger to Aoki so the field is wide open for that. Shinobu showed some extra interest in Aoki after the match, but eventually the rest of his teammates did as well. Not clear who is in the front of the pack here. 2. Daichi Hashimoto & Hideyoshi Kamitani defeated Banana Senga & Tsutomu Oosugi (10:22) when Hashimoto used a Triangle Choke on Oosugi. 47 Solid tag match and one of the better bouts Speed of Sounds have been in. Okami have been absolutely dominant as a unit as of late, and patiently await to see who wins tonight's main event as they will be facing them in the next round of the Saikyo Tag Tournament. 3. Fluorescent Lighttubes Deathmatch: Kankuro Hoshino, Isami Kodaka & Yuko Miyamoto defeated Ryuji Ito, Toshiyuki Sakuda & Yuki Ishikawa (13:05) when Kodaka used the Roku Hachi Kyu on Ishikawa. 58 Great deathmatch here. Ito, Kodaka and Miyamoto are all legit stars and Sakuda is slowly getting there. The rookie Ishikawa drops the fall but he's been improving as well. Hoshino did his thing but no one expects much more from him at this point. Very fun showcase on a card with a handful of good deathmatches. 4. Saikyo Tag Tournament ~ DEATH Bracket - First Round - Hardcore Match: Masaya Takahashi & Takayuki Ueki defeated Brahman Kei & Brahman Shu (10:38) when Takahashi used a Moonsault Press on Kei. 41 Your yearly wild Brahman Brothers showcase match was what we expect - fans getting drenched in water (they've avoided the spitting due to COVID-19 but they still had their bottles), the suitcase-bowling ball spot, and the return of their favorite weapon - a pig's head. Gross, wacky, and at times frightening, this was quintessential Brahman Brothers. Nevertheless, their antics were still not enough to overcome the deathmatch veterans on the opposite side of the ring. Ueki and Takahashi move on to face Ito and DDT's Shunma Katsumata in the second round. 5. Special Singles Match: Ryuichi Kawakami defeated Yuji Okabayashi (11:58) with a Hurricane Driver. 61 This was really, really good. Yuji Okabayashi had a Hitsuya Challenge Series of sorts here, facing both members of the tag team and going 1-1. A big win for Kawakami, who's only flirted with the main event of the Strong Division and might be inching closer to a shot at Daichi Hashimoto. 6. Saikyo Tag Tournament ~ DEATH Bracket - First Round - Fluorescent Lighttubes +α Deathmatch: Abdullah Kobayashi & Minoru Fujita defeated "Black Angel" Jaki Numazawa & Kenji Fukimoto (12:43) when Fujita used the SAYONARA on Numazawa. 48 Solid, but out-shined by the six-man earlier in the night. Nice win for Fujita, who has bounced back a bit from his loss to Ito at Last Buntai. Fujita and Kobayashi move on to face Masashi Takeda and Takumi Tsukamoto in the second round. 7. Saikyo Tag Tournament ~ STRONG Bracket - First Round: Daisuke Sekimoto & Kohei Sato defeated Yasufumi Nakanoue & Kuma Arashi (17:23) when Sekimoto used a Wrist-Clutch German Suplex Hold on Arashi. 55 Not the best match of the night, but a solid example of what the BJW Strong Division is all about. Very fun contest with enough suplexes and strikes to go around. Arashi is a nice fit for BJW and is surely going to be in some interesting matches moving forward as he's earned his right to stick around. Former BJW Tag Champs Sekimoto and Sato have to be a favorite to win the entire tournament, but they move on to face the red-hot Okami in the next round. <hr color = orangered>
  10. Especially for BJW. But still, was nice to get a much bigger crowd on my next show as I cut my deficit in half off this next Korakuen Hall show alone.

  13. Well that's on you then. The finale mechanic is meant to simulate how real world promotions like NJPW have a season finale.
  14. Ah I missed a match on the card, sorry! Edited and fixed.
  15. Full card for BJW @ Korakuen Hall on 9/14! The full card for BJW's 9/14 Korakuen Hall show has been announced. In the main event of what is probably the biggest show of the month, Yankii Nichokenju will take on Crazy Lovers in a first round match of the Saikyo Tag Tournament. <hr color = orangered> BJW "Saikyo Tag Tournament ~ First Round", 9/14/20 (niconico) Tokyo Korakuen Hall 1. 16. Exactly. The G1 Final show has some big matches but a lot are just filler like a normal big show. WK has no filler, and has every single title on the line.
  17. The system is obviously based on NJPW where Wrestle Kingdom is the undeniable season finale, not the G1 Final. Some Japanese companies like AJPW don't really have a season finale as they don't really have a WK-like show. Some companies, like DDT, BJW and DG, do indeed have a WK-like show (Peter Pan, Ryogokutan, and Final Gate, respectively). It depends on how you structure you schedule.

As expected, the team of veterans Yuji Okabayashi and Quiet Storm outlasted the New Generation of Strong BJ, Akira Hyodo and Takuho Kato, in a fun back-and-forth match. However, the highlight of the night was the main event, which saw Daisuke Sekimoto reform his on-and-off tag team with local Osaka talent Magnitude Kishiwada. I've never really had a chance to do it as I've either played as NJPW who simply don't, or PWG who are very intentional with who they book. BJW actually do use local talent a lot, especially in Osaka, where the two guys above alongside others like Billy Ken Kid are regularly booked when BJW is in town. This was a fun move as both have a lot of history in BJW and a money saver for me as well. Tsubasa was ported from another database and has laughably bad stats, so I might have to adjust him before using him again as he put on a match performance on 17 which is a.) unrealistic as he is a very solid lucharesu veteran and b.) incredibly bad. <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/confused.png.d4a8e6b6eab0c67698b911fb041c0ed1.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></div></blockquote><p> </p><div style="text-align:center;"><img alt="vImwwTh.png" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/vImwwTh.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></div><p></p><p></p>

  20. Very exciting to see FREEDOMS. I am wondering about an issue I am noticing with AI shows. It's more prevalent with Japan, but the shows that companies are running are insanely long. This is a random AJPW show, it has 15 matches. Your averages tour AJPW show IRL has 5-7. Is there any way to reduce this? It happens with almost every Japanese company.
  21. BJW 9/9 Shin-Kiba 1st RING results! BJW took a small break from Saikyo Tag Tournament action to focus on the Death Division in a fun little show at Shin-Kiba 1st RING last night. The big news was the main event tag match, which saw Jun Kasai and "Black Angel" Jaki Numazawa take on Ryuji Ito and Abdullah Kobayashi in a brutal 4 Boards Deathmatch. Jun Kasai picked up the win after hitting his patented Pearl Harbor Splash on Abdullah Kobayashi. After the match, Kasai confronted Ito, reminding the champion that he still hasn't heard a response to the challenge he issued at Last Buntai. Ito told Kasai he has no problem accepting, but wants the match to take place in the proper setting. So, Ito suggested that he and Kasai main event Sumo Hall for BJW Ryogokutan 2020! For those who are unfamiliar with the event, Ryogokutan is BJW's Wrestle Kingdom. It is their largest annual show and season finale, and has been held in Sumo Hall (aka Tokyo Ryogoku Kokugikan) for the last five years. Due to COVID-19 and the various postponements and cancellations in Japan's sporting world, it was unclear if BJW was even going to be able to host this event this year. Fortunately enough, it seems to be a go, as BJW will hold Ryogokutan 2020 on Saturday, November 7th, with a huge main event of Ryuji Ito vs. Jun Kasai for the BJW Deathmatch Heavyweight Title. <hr color = orangered> BJW, 9/9/20 Shin-Kiba 1st RING 290 fans - SELL OUT! 23. So I am playing as the booker of a company and the owner announced they are retiring from active competition in three months. What does that mean for me? Anything?
