Today is Saturday.

Yes, it is Saturday. Skipped? Now maybe you can tell me what relevant stuff I skipped over in comparison to everyone else just because I hadn't posted yet. As well as what did you specifically expect me to touch upon posting.

I saw your posts and to be really honest, I'm unfazed but amused nonetheless. Sometimes I'm trying to see who's trying to overcompensate on D1 as well, or who's really into it - for the right and wrong reasons. This analysis couldn't be more interesting though. Looking forward to see what else you've sustained.

I feel like big games allow the respective mod to entertain a cult faction even more. That said I'm pretty used to big games and size isn't indicative in general so I'm just spit balling. But town/mafia ratio should be relatively straightforward in my mind.

 4. Shows how either unlucky I am or little awareness I have... I went to a Gamestop today on payday to buy NBA2k17, only to find a litany of people in line for the new Pokemon Sun & moon that came out. The lady managing the lines told me it's about a 45-minute wait from what she's seen and it's gonna be going on all day (possibly all weekend too). Of all the possible days...
 5.
DeRozan is playing like a madman right now. I may just have to eat my words. Toronto is gonna come out on top in the east just under Cleveland, they gave them a tough match-up last night despite coming up short.

Also glad to see the Bulls gelling well together, they routed Portland without Rondo which to me shows incredible promise. They have roleplayers shooting the lights out and Wade showing proper leadership, Butler being Butler.

I just wish the Knicks were doing better, still looks like more cohesion is needed.

I can't believe people can't figure out how to hook a controller to a computer.

I know not all games work but 90% of them do...

I know you know there's a lot more to it than that <img alt=":p" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/tongue.png.ceb643b2956793497cef30b0e944be28.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

The fact is some people just aren't that tech savvy to make the jump. You generally need to have a good grasp on what to get and how low you can get it for(by proxy, where to look) in order to get the best bang for your buck. PC has the advantage on mostly all categories but if the console experience is sustainable enough for someone to keep with it, along with factors such as the person's casual approach to gaming, the amount of games they're invested into, etc, then it's certainly not just "better resolution" and "peripherals" which will make the user make the switch.

By your point as well, in the age we're in, we can see consoles are enjoyable enough to still have their place in gaming, at least for the forseeable future.

 7.
No doubt but we're talking strictly on the payday aspect here. His brand won't carry over any more now than it could have but there's no point getting gripe about his paycheck considering the obvious reason why he was paid this much.

His name carried him enough to have a UFC PPV debut, which is that much already. Many people are disputing he probably shouldn't even have made it there for his first contest, and though I'm a fan of Punk I wouldn't dispute that notion

 8.
Given where I'm from I'm obviously a huge Raptors fan... but despite everyone's optimism I feel like I'm the only one who thinks that the team hit their ceiling last season.

Biyombo has signed somewhere else(Magic?), and even as a roleplayer he was a huge part of their run through the post-season. If JV stays healthy and consistent then perhaps they may reach a top seed again but even there it's iffy. Lowry and DeRozan can only do so much but they need great roleplayers surrounding them in order to keep their top standing. The only person I have absolute trust in is Dwayne Casey, he's become by far the best Raptors coach of all time.

I'm also a Bulls fan, and I find their situation interesting here, as mentioned above, they switched a hometown hero for another, what this seems like is pretty much short-term rebuilding. Obviously Wade is winding down and Butler/Rondo will have most of the minutes on the floor, they'll be looking to build off of this year hoping that playing with a veteran like Wade might be a decent incentive for other players to sign.

But I don't think the Bulls office are eyeing a deep post-season run right now, the current plan is likely to watch Wade play his final years while they'll be working hard to find the right pieces to eventually climb back up to the top seed.

 9. At the end of the day, Punk was put in the position he was in on the UFC card and advertised heavily because he brings a fan base that brings in a large crowd. Because of that crowd and the chance at making a bunch of money UFC took the chance. If he went to say idk take up table tennis and compete he would still be billed heavily because he has built a name for himself. You can't discredit him for building his brand.
 10.

There's two heavyweight title matches at Summerslam and neither one will probably main event. Which is depressing because the main event will most likely be boring Lesnar vs Orton.

Makes a bit of sense that they're making it this way; it allows for the respective contenders to be booked into those matches. Let's face it, Balor or Ziggler would've never been penciled in to close out the show and/or to headline a high-profile title match.

It's reminiscent of some of the past Royal Rumble PPVs where contenders who usually would've been glossed over for a title match ended up booked for one because the main-event was always the Rumble itself. As I recall, Ziggler had a title match on one or two occasions at a Rumble PPV... hopefully this time he remains in the top brass picture.

I watched 2/3rds of Raw, and my God.. Enzo's got next. Got charisma falling out of his backside. I rarely watch wrestling these days but it is good to see Jericho still doing his thing.

 11.
Bray Wyatt needs revamping in some column. They were trying to test a face run with him before he got injured post-Mania.

While wanting consistency from WWE is only fair because they haven't been the best in that department, nothing about this shows to me a lack of consistency from their end. They can choose to do whatever they want with the Wyatt family. If they'll keep them together, great(as long as they do something interesting with them). But if they don't, fine. Not keeping them together would not be any sign of "inconsistency" but purely that they may have plans set up for Rowan/Harper/Bray/Strowman down the stretch and what exactly is wrong with that, when you really think about it

It's clear as day that those guys won't be tag team partners/stable members forever. They've done their fair share of "terrorizing" the roster, they even had somewhat of a stronghold during the Royal Rumble match for a good few minutes because Lesnar became the next entrant. I feel like they've done the world with them, and maybe now that they're shaking things up, they might shake things up in more than one department.

In fact, just touting them as the "longest running stable in the WWE"(not bothered to check whether that's true or not, but I'll take it) may just be the writing on the wall...

 12. The Celtics just ended Golden State Warriors's ginormous home streak. Something to take home for the weekend alright. Isaiah Thomas' value just went up quite a bit.
 13.

Anyone think Ambrose can actually win? HHH is gonna be strong regardless. Ambrose losing a bitch match prior to facing Lesnar wont help him. But Ambrose winning the title what happens with him vs Lesnar?

Ambrose seems to be in a no win situation in terms of storyline. Why is he getting a title shot when Reigns is getting it at Mania? Whats the purpose of this PPV?

Im also still confused as to why this is a thing since I didnt watch Raw. Also why is Lesnar vs Bray happening? They dropped the ball and are now bringing it back at this BS event? WWE botched WM heavily this year. This pathetic attempt to give fans what they wanted in the first place wont save WM.

Am I the only one that is assessing this as WWE keeping Ambrose in the World title picture?

Yeah the matches are set at Mania, which means you can't circumvent around the upcoming results for Roadblock, but at least they're keeping Dean Ambrose in the title picture the way they're doing. That way after Mania, he could be viable enough as a title contender, whether HHH or Reigns wins.

 14.
With the injuries bug, Big Show was always going to get a match at Mania anyways, it might as well be against one of the most promising guys on the roster in order to put him over. Hoping he does.. and that Owens pulls a WM20 Cena on him.

AJ should be main eventing right away.. Idk how they could keep him down, hes the most capable to replace Rollins for the moment in terms of actual matches. Only question is who to put him in there with

No he shouldn't haha. Let's not get ahead of ourselves - AJ is great no question. But one thing at a time. I for one think it's great Jericho is rubbing his exposure on him. It must be fun for Y2J too, because he understands AJ's hype and I'm sure he'll personally make it so he gets treated well in the WWE. Even if he doesn't, as long as Styles holds his own, he'll go places in the industry.

I don't get all the New Day love. They suck. A lot. Big E is as bland as he was before it, his mic skills haven't improved at all, and him screaming in that intro just makes me wanna shoot him. Same goes for Kofi. Great worker, 0 mic skills. Xavier is meh...Has some skills but i really can't stand him due to New Day. So i hate these guys, not in a "good, you're suppose to hate the heels" way. Just in a "turning my tv off when they're around" way.

Here's the thing... I used to think exactly like this a few months ago. I don't know when it happened, probably when they interrupted The Rock on Raw... that's when I saw their potential as bonafide entertainers. Now they've grown on me. You may not like their gimmick but they do an amazing job at captivating the crowd's attention & their antics are debatably unique which is why they have all this promo time/attention

 15. I haven't posted here in a while so this may be a bit late. But in my opinion there's nothing wrong with a freebie here and there. A cage match is indeed used to blow off feuds or sometimes, are used in the midst of an enthralled feud. But it's a gimmick match that can be used for what it is, a special attraction. I actually thought that they've been down on gimmick matches as of late, but maybe I haven't watched enough WWE programming(or NXT). This should mainly be a concern if cage matches being featured randomly on a weekly show happens on repeated occasions. Until then, if this is a one-off thing(and used for a justified reason) I don't think it's much worth splitting hairs over. There's nothing wrong with thinking old school, but this wouldn't be an indication of how bad(if at all) WWE booking has been as of late.
 16. So uhm, I'm watching the UFC 181 PPV, and they announced that CM Punk signed a multi-fight contract with the UFC. He's expected to debut sometime next year. By announced I mean he just appeared alongside Joe Rogan by the Octagon, couldn't hear what he said because I'm at a bar. But hey, why not lol.
 17. Going by these words and most of your other statements you didn't listen to much of the podcast at all. Either that or you did but already made up your mind on your hatred of Punk. Usually those shoots involve a disgruntled worker who got released and tries to throw the most shade possible for vindication. But a lot of aspects are different here, even beside the fact Punk was a top guy, his mind was more or less on his way out and he did mention he kept contact with a lot of wrestlers after leavin, including Cena. Plus, Punk admitted early on he wasn't the easiest guy to deal with so it's not like he's victimized himself the whole way through.
 18. Fair enough, I meant overall through his tenure in the WWE for the most part. And even there, as you've said they cut him an awful lot of breaks. One's viewpoint could vary as to if he should've been on his 3rd strike by now. So yeah, they bent backwards for Orton. They have, at least on one occasion, given Orton time off simply for being banged up, whereas you have WWE's medical staff flat-out misdiagnosing Punk and he had to work through an HIAC match among other things.. there's about five ways that could've ended badly.
 19. 1st point - few guys have had the accolades Punk has had before he even stepped foot in the WWE. 2nd point - I could give you that. And 3rd point... if everything he said checks out, can you really hold that against him? Especially if the part about releasing him on his wedding day is true.. maybe if he exaggerated even half of these points I would concede that, but at face value the treatment he's received on an overall scale sounds subpar at best. From the same guys who would bend backwards for Cena and Orton, granted those two have paid their dues far more than Punk has, but as a guy who runs the show, when you're nurturing your top guys there are certain things you need to put into perspective. When it gets to a point where ONE match takes away years of your life, I think there's a lot of aspects that need to be put into question. No wrestler alive should be subject to that
 20.

Didnt he also try to slam Jericho recently before quickly realizing how stupid he sounded?

All I do remember is Jericho putting him back in his place on Twitter even further back when Graham was exasperated about something, told him to stop being a mark. So the animosity is no surprise.

Cena's no-selling of the feud tarnishes the entire thing IMO. IIRC he smiled when he was supposed to be angry after Bray Wyatt screamed "Im a God". Then it was on Smackdown IIRC when he and The Usos did some stupid comedy segment in the middle of what was supposed to be his selling the feud. I dont think these two instances are enough to derail Wyatts momentum but its annoying to see IMO.

I'm in other minds about that, I feel there is just no way Cena could legitimately sell Bray's words. I mean reread your post, would you take your adversary screaming "I'm a God" seriously? Especially when [sadly] he hasn't gotten one over Cena yet.

It's like you guys are so worried about Bray looking strong and menacing when in reality his promos are purposely goofy... not to put a negative connotation to the word goofy, the good kind of goofy if you will. Slightly over the top. But in that aspect, how Cena reacted is fine with me. The comedy segments are a bit much but at his core that's who Cena is, he's laughed in the face of guys Bray doesn't hold a candle to.

But I say there s nothing to worry about with Bray, he just rode Cena's coattails for months so he should be destined for bigger things.

 21.

Exactly. Rikishi was a MIDCARD ACT. There is nothing legendary about him. Should Fandango go in because he has his Fandangoing? Should Swagger go in because people like WE THE PEOPLE? The HOF is about the legends of the company. People who actually did something memorable. Nash, Savage, Owen(he would be if his wife wasnt a bitch).

Thats like saying Santino should go in because the crowd loves him...

I used to think like this too but the way WWE'S HOF is headed it may well go the other way.

Believe it or not but its not solely World titles that make the video packages and celebrated highlights. I would've scoffed at a name like Kofi before but he's done so much crazy stuff in the Rumble I can kinda see it now.

 22. Hell, what would've been the outrage if Triple H ended it, period? That's why the post-reactions amuse me, no matter who you bring up as a potential streak ender, there would always, always be another side to the coin.
 23.

Brock Lesnar beating the streak made no sense at all. The biggest problem with having Brock beat the streak is that he lost to Triple H and John Cena in the first place. If the WWE wanted to have it end that is not the right thing to do and have him lose to anyone. That was bad very bad booking. I don't care if The Undertaker went to Brock Lesnar or Vince McMahon and said it end tonight!

This logic of yours isn't any better. Where did it say you needed to be an undefeated war machine to break the streak? Lesnar lost to both but he won the war against Trips and he beat Punk before facing Taker. He was a threat - the build-up wasn't all that but he was arguably the biggest threat to the streak since HBK.

Everyone has their little idea of how things should be done and how to break the streak - but the second things don't go their imagined way its "terrible booking" and it "ruined WM30".

Half the reason why I don't check for online feedback, WWE's in a "damned if you do, damned if you don't" place with smarks.

What I saw was a moment which will be etched in fans' minds for years to come. I've seen arguments for every single of Taker's opponents in the past years as to why they shouldn't end the streak, all of a sudden I see nothing but "oh why didn't they have Punk/HHH/HBK end it." Isn't hindsight a.. female dog, huh.
