  1. Steve Flash vs “The Pure Athlete” Art Reed © [NYCW Empire Title Match] Art's a good wrestler, and whilst I still don't think you have enough top faces there's no reason for Steve to win the title back yet Jebediah vs Prisoner No. 6 © w/ Doctor O'Haire [NYCW Tri-State Regional Title Match] I could see this going the other way but I feel like it's time for Prisoner to move up the card and challenge for a main event spot The Ring Generals vs Two Local Talents [Open Challenge Match] Because c'mon, why even? Max Mayhem vs Scythe Scythe's always pretty good, he's one of my favourites The Fighting Irish vs The Canadian Connection Can't actually remember who the CC are, to be honest Brooklyn's Finest vs Old School Principals SQUASH Miller Fforde vs Brutus Milano Seriously, why is Brutus still here?
  2. CGC Canadian Title: Chris Flynn vs Sayeed Ali © I can't remember whether or not the Canadian Title has a match at Wrestlefestival already, so Flynn wins via flash pinfall to set up a rematch Skip Beau & Blockbuster vs Bobby Thomas & Zeus Maxmillion Because Blockbuster's just...the worst. I mean that in a good way, he's supposed to be, but I really hate that guy Phillipe LaGrenier vs Ian Identity I just prefer him Battle Royale to determine Jack Bruce's opponent at WrestleFestival Featuring... Dan DaLay, Diablo DeVille, Dirty Dice Elderberry, Donovan Boon, Greaser, Hugh Ancrie, Hugh DeArrrske, K-Squared, Poison, Robin DaLay, Rusty Mills, Shane Nelson, Torque and more... Both Poison and Bruce are probably past their best, so match them up for a quick sprint and hope their overness can cover for their weaknesses

  6. <p><strong>Adam, Max, Rob & TJ McGowan</strong> v Lance Henderson, Giant Redwood, Mick Muscles & Moose Mulder</p><p> <em>Via DQ, followed by some kind of beatdown to sell the heels as threats</em></p><p> </p><p> Andrew Brookfield v <strong>Bryan Holmes</strong></p><p> <em>Because there's no earthly reason not to</em></p>

  8. <p><strong>Puerto Rican Power, Billy Russell, & Bradford Peverell</strong> versus Texas Pete, Handsome Stranger, & Giant Brody</p><p> <em>Get Power some momentum back after he lost the title last month</em></p><p> </p><p> FCW Tag Team Championship</p><p> Death Row versus <strong>The Latino Kings ©</strong></p><p> <em>Never really rated Death Row, to be honest</em></p><p> </p><p> Curtis Shaw versus <strong>"The Triple Threat" Davis Wayne Newton</strong></p><p> <em>One of these two is good, one is not</em></p><p> </p><p> <strong>Kip Keenan</strong> versus Mutant</p><p> <em>Coin-flip</em></p><p> </p><p> Molokai Milk versus <strong>"Ice Cold" Ray Snow</strong></p><p> <em>Wouldn't be surprised if Molokai took this but I feel like Ray needs this more</em></p><p> </p><p> <strong>Nate DeMarcus</strong> versus Bull Wrecker</p><p> <em>You seem to have more plans for Nate</em></p><p> </p><p> Joffy "The Jackammer" Laine versus <strong>Prometheus</strong> presented by Maryam Vega</p><p> <em>Monster heel that sucks needs momentum more than a guy who can get his heat back anytime</em></p><p> </p><p> Carlos Gonzalez & Ricochet Ramone versus <strong>Samoan Demolition</strong> presented by "Playboy" Jake Sawyer</p><p> <em>Established team over makeshift unit</em></p>
  9. FCW Puerto Rican Championship Giant Brody versus Puerto Rican Power © It feels a bit early to be moving the title off Power, so I say he takes it via DQ after interference "The Tap Out Artist" Billy Russell versus Texas Pete On the one hand, you clearly have plans for Pete. On the other, Billy can be an awkward sod if he loses too much "The Maniac" Carlos Gonzalez versus Xavi Ferrera presented by "Playboy" Jake Sawyer Carlos is another one who can kick off if he loses too much but with your owner goals you might as well job him out before he leaves Kip Keenan, Nate DeMarcus, Mark Griffin versus Ray Snow, Rob Reynolds & Davis Wayne Newton Bit of a coin-flip but team heel has three of my favourite guys on so they take it FCW Tag Team Championship The Puerto Rican Boys versus The Ring Generals © The Ring Generals haven't held the titles that long and don't generally get picked up by anyone that would require hot-shotting the belts off them Ricochet Ramone versus Boriken Love Machine, Jr Another metaphorical coinflip Leper Messiah versus Prometheus presented by Maryam Vega I've never seen the appeal of Prometheus Curtis Shaw & Joffy Laine versus Samoan Demolition presented by "Playboy" Jake Sawyer Established team always holds the advantage
  10. Steve Flash © vs ”The Pure Athlete” Art Reed [NYCW Empire Title Match] Steve hasn't held the title for long enough to drop it just yet, I'm calling a DQ win or somesuch. Bulldozer Brandon Smith vs Honest Frank 'Cos he'll cheat Ace Youngblood vs Prisoner No. 6 © [NYCW Tri-State Regional Title Match] Prisoner No. 6 need to face a proper challenger soon, but Ace doesn't feel like that guy The Fighting Irish vs The Boys From Yukon I can never quite buy into The Boys from the Yukon, though if you can get them over they can do good stuff "That 90's Guy" Riley McManus vs Hugh Ancrie McManus always delivers Animal Harker & ??? vs Brutus Milano & The New York Doll Mystery partner always wins, especially 'cos Milano sucks The Ring Generals vs Brooklyn's Finest SQUASH
  11. Definitely reading this, but I'll hold off on predictions 'til I get more of an idea of how you see the roster- I don't really know Canada in this period.
  12. <p>FCW Puerto Rican Championship</p><p> <strong>Puerto Rican Power</strong> versus Hell's Bouncer ©</p><p> <em>Bouncer's on the way out and Power should lose, like, twice a year</em></p><p> </p><p> "The Tap Out Artist" Billy Russell versus <strong>Handsome Stranger</strong></p><p> <em>You need a heel for Power to beat next month and Stranger's the obvious choice</em></p><p> </p><p> <strong>"The Maniac" Carlos Gonzalez</strong> versus "The Marksman" Kirk Jameson presented by Maryam Vega</p><p> <em>Jameson tends to disappear quite quickly, and Carlos can be good if you manage him properly</em></p><p> </p><p> FCW People's Championship</p><p> Kip Keenan versus <strong>Ox Mastadon ©</strong> presented by Carl Batch</p><p> <em>Because that 'tache</em></p><p> </p><p> Joffy Laine versus <strong>Xavi Ferrera</strong> presented by "Playboy" Jake Sawyer</p><p> <em>Either guy could take this but you're with Xavi so I figure there's a plan there</em></p><p> </p><p> FCW Tag Team Championship</p><p> The Wasteland Warriors versus <strong>The Puerto Rican Boys ©</strong></p><p> <em>Mutant has potential but Bull Wreckers always underperforms for me so I can't see a title change here</em></p><p> </p><p> Ricochet Ramone versus <strong>"Ice Cold" Ray Snow</strong></p><p> <em>Ray's pretty good, at least as a general rule</em></p>
  13. <p>CGC Canadian Title: <strong>Bobby Thomas</strong> vs Skip Beau ©</p><p> <em>Building up faces</em></p><p> </p><p> <strong>Express Delivery & Mystery Partner</strong> vs Pin Point & Penfold Perdition</p><p> <em>This was a tough one, as I hate betting against faces that need momentum the way Mario and Ian do, but a mystery partner suggests somebody you've got plans for</em></p><p> </p><p> <strong>DaLay & Son</strong> vs Woolabonga Bogans</p><p> <em>Dan DaLay is one of your top guys</em></p><p> </p><p> Dice Elderberry vs <strong>Zeus Maxmillion</strong></p><p> <em>Zeus seems like the right guy to unhorse Blockbuster</em></p>
  14. <p><strong>Steve Flash ©</strong> vs Honest Frank ©</p><p> [COTT World Heavyweight Championship Match]</p><p> [NYCW Empire Title Match]</p><p> <em>You've already said that Frank's in heavy decline, and even past his best Steve's a great bridge champion</em></p><p> </p><p> <strong>The Ring Generals ©</strong> vs The American Cobras</p><p> [COTT World Tag Team Title Match]</p><p> <em>I could see this going the other way but I'll always back the home team</em></p><p> </p><p> The Aces Of Mayhem vs <strong>Old School Principals ©</strong></p><p> [NYCW Tag Team Title Match]</p><p> <em>Again, if this went the other way I wouldn't be surprised but right now I'm just not feeling a title change here</em></p><p> </p><p> Animal Harker & Dermot O'Logical vs <strong>Prisoner No. 6 & Art Reed</strong></p><p> <em>Prisoner No. 6 is rapidly becoming a midcard ace, throw in Art Reed and I just can't see them losing</em></p><p> </p><p> <strong>The Fighting Irish</strong> vs Borne To Riot</p><p> <em>I love the Irish, and Geoff Borne isn't exactly making himself popular with that attitude</em></p><p> </p><p> <strong>Riley McManus, Freedom Eagle & Hawkeye Calhoun</strong> vs Phillipe LaGrenier, Hugh Ancrie & Brutus Milano</p><p> <em>Because Milano is just so bad</em></p>
  15. <p>Man Mountain Cahill vs <strong>Bulldozer Brandon Smith</strong></p><p> [No Disqualification Match]</p><p> <em>You're doing a great job with Cahill but 'Dozer's a top babyface and you're still light on those</em></p><p> </p><p> Marv Statler vs <strong>Honest Frank ©</strong></p><p> [NYCW Empire Title Match]</p><p> <em>The Ring Generals are great guys that deserve to be positioned near the top but Frank's your guy and you should ride with him for a little bit longer</em></p><p> </p><p> <strong>'COTT World Heavyweight Champion' Steve Flash</strong> vs Phillipe LeGrenier</p><p> <em>Yeah...no. Just, no. Thanks for coming, Phil, but you ain't got a chance in this one</em></p><p> </p><p> Animal Harker vs <strong>Prisoner #6 ©</strong></p><p> [NYCW Tri-State Regional Title Match]</p><p> <em>He's quickly become one of your top performers.</em></p><p> </p><p> <strong>“That 90's Guy” Riley McManus</strong> vs Art Reed</p><p> <em>This is a tough one. On the one hand, Art Reed in his prime is one of the best you can find. On the other hand, he's rarely in his prime and Ri-Mac's been getting quite a push.</em></p><p> </p><p> Brooklyn's Finest vs <strong>The Boys From Yukon</strong></p><p> <em>The association with Michael O'Haire would seem to imply a plan for these guys</em></p><p> </p><p> <strong>Dean Waldorf</strong> vs The New York Doll</p><p> <em>As with Marv, there's no harm in trying to get the Ring Generals as close to the top as you can</em></p><p> </p><p> <strong>Crockett Tubbs</strong> vs Brutus Milano</p><p> <em>Milano really kinda sucks</em></p>
  16. <p>Bryan Holmes v <strong>Nathan McGowan</strong></p><p> <em>I find it highly amusing that of the three McGowans you've already introduced, only one is actually appearing. Still, what little we've seen indicates that Nate is a decent talent so he can go over here (I agree with XMG that somebody on this show is being set up as the big nemesis but I don't see Bryan in that role, necessarily)</em></p><p> </p><p> <strong>Adam McGowan</strong> v Moose Mulder</p><p> <em>MONSTER CLASH!</em></p><p> </p><p> Max & TJ McGowan v <strong>???</strong></p><p> <em>Again, see XMG's reasoning here.</em></p>
  17. <p><strong>Dan DaLay</strong> vs Torque</p><p> <em>Whilst I enjoy Torque's character there's no earthly reason for Dan to lose on TV</em></p><p> </p><p> Express Delivery & Hugh De Arrrske vs <strong>Pin Point & Penfold Perdition</strong></p><p> <em>This one could go either way but the team with Mario and Ian on has better future prospects</em></p><p> </p><p> Drake Young & Dermott Ayres vs <strong>Woolabonga Bogans (Mills & Boon)</strong></p><p> <em>They've really delivered given their lack of popularity</em></p>
  18. <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="Charasmatic Enigma" data-cite="Charasmatic Enigma" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="46984" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div><p> Prisoner No. 6 is being played by 'The Silencer'. I always sign The Silencer when I'm working a US fed and he always delivers.</p>
  19. <p>“Bulldozer” Brandon Smith vs <strong>Honest Frank ©</strong></p><p> <em>Frank only just won the title so dropping it seems like a bad idea- have him cheat to win or get interference and you've got a great story going</em></p><p> </p><p> <strong>Crockett Tubbs</strong> © vs Geoff Borne</p><p> <em>Tubbs is a bit of a disaster as a champion, particularly if you don't turn off the bans as he doesn't have the overness to compensate. That being said, Geoff's a terrible fit for NYCW</em></p><p> </p><p> <strong>Steve Flash</strong> vs Andrew Harper</p><p> <em>You currently have two top faces so neither of them can afford to lose</em></p><p> </p><p> Brooklyn's Finest vs <strong>Old School Principals ©</strong></p><p> <em>SQUASH</em></p><p> </p><p> <strong>Animal Harker</strong> vs Man Mountain Cahill</p><p> <em>I don't really rate Cahill and you need more top faces</em></p><p> </p><p> <strong>Riley McManus</strong> vs Brutus Milano</p><p> <em>See above re: babyfaces, plus Brutus kinda sucks</em></p><p> </p><p> Dermot O'Logical vs <strong>Prisoner No. 6</strong></p><p> <em>Developing the storyline</em></p><p> </p><p> One note to bear in mind if you're not turning off the bans (which is fair enough, for the record); with the bans on, pop becomes a lot more important than it would otherwise be so bear that in mind when bringing new guys in.</p>
  20. <p>CGC World Title: Ryan Powell vs <strong>Blockbuster ©</strong></p><p> <em>He's a loathsome little tick but at least he's delivering some decent ratings, and to be fair I believe in Blockbuster as champ more than Ryan Powell</em></p><p> </p><p> CGC Tag Team Title: <strong>DaLay & Son</strong> vs The Gear-Heads ©</p><p> <em>The Gear-Heads are genuinely cool but DaLay and Son are great fun</em></p><p> </p><p> CGC Canadian Title: <strong>Shane Nelson</strong> vs Skip Beau ©</p><p> <em>There's a shortage of interesting, well-pushed faces in CGC at the moment so giving Shane the belt seems like a good way to counterbalance that</em></p><p> </p><p> Luck of the Draw Match: Dirty Dice Elderberry vs <strong>Mario DaSilva</strong></p><p> <em>See above, really</em></p><p> </p><p> Illegally Blonde (Atherton & Cash) vs <strong>Woolabonga Bogans (Mills & Boon)</strong></p><p> <em>Cos they got an actual vignette intro</em></p><p> </p><p> Random Weapons Battle Royale: <strong>Jack DeColt</strong> vs Dermott Ayres vs Drake Young vs Hugh Ancrie vs Phillipe LaGrenier vs Hugh DeArrrske vs Sayeed Ali vs Texas Pete vs Penfold Perdition vs Ian Identity</p><p> <em>Do I even need to explain?</em></p><p> </p><p> Because I'm not too sure myself, what do you think will be match of the night? <em>I'd guess the world title match</em></p>
  21. Makes sense- I always struggle to write up backstage stuff, it's why I haven't had a dynasty here in a while. Mike O'Haire's a good call, he's pretty good and isn't so popular as to dominate the shows and make it all about one guy (always a temptation with user characters). Also, as a piece of advice: check your product bans. Both high risk and spinal impact moves aren't allowed in the default product and that can absolutely hammer your match grades. Drop one or both and your shows will improve a lot.
  22. Won't post predictions just yet as I want to get a feel for your vision of NYCW, but I'm definitely interested in following this one. Who's your user character?
  23. Has anybody done a re-render for Whirlwind Lee Wilkes? I have a vague recollection of having seen one but I can't find it anywhere.
  24. I'm gonna concur with the general opinion- the combo does seem to make more sense than going just down one side or the other.
