In real life, I would absolutely hate this whole company. Fortunately this isn't real life, so I can enjoy a thoroughly well written dynasty with very compelling storylines and characters.

What's the roster situation like? If they don't have enough talent that may be the issue, I don't know if child feds hire their own talent in 2020.

Just to check, do we just move the pictures into the default folder? EDIT: Never mind, figured it out- I was confused by some of the replica images, is all.

The next show will be going up tomorrow evening folks, and then this dynasty will be coming to an end- life has gotten busy as I'm now back at work and don't have as much time to concentrate on writing this as I used to so I'm calling time on it. I may relaunch it down the line- I love the 2020 Cverse and RMW's a fun playground to play in- but what form that will take, either an updated version of this dynasty or a whole new thread with new characters, is very much a question for the future.

That was a fantastic show, loved the revelation at the end. I know we haven't seen much of him (I presume he's working dark matches?) but you have to assume Hijo del Bandido will be getting involved at some point too.

RMW Amazing Journey From The Park County Fairground in Wyoming Sunday, Week 3, July Audience: 85 The Show vsvsvs Dominic DeGraff vs. Stanley Axis vs. Chuck Casey vs. Pepper Pelton We kicked things off with one of our two filler four-ways and this one turned out pretty good. Okay, so Stanley might be incredibly dull but he can get it done in the ring, and whilst Dom isn’t exactly famed for his pizzazz he’s a good hand and has benefitted from his association with No Remorse Corps (particularly Haley, their chemistry together is just off the charts). As for Pep and Chuck, they’re projects but show consistent improvement every month and it isn’t inconceivable that they might receive a push down the line at least as far as the midcard, particularly if Chuck’s gimmick continues to improve. That’s definitely in the future, though, and Dom’s the only one of these four with any kind of priority push so he took the win, putting Chuck away with the Double Arm DDT. Winner: Dominic DeGraff Match Rating: 27 * It’s time to hear from Haley Buck, as she’s on promo duty ahead of tonight’s main event. Another show, another good promo from Haley. She’s not getting over in her own right particularly and that might be an issue down the line but for right now there’s nobody in the company better than her on the stick. Rating: 35 * vs The Hot Taggs vs. The Past Masters I’m starting to realise that The Hot Taggs aren’t actually all that good- despite being theoretically my top heel team they were outperformed by both of the Past Masters and Sandman isn’t exactly one of my top guys. The main issue is that for all they’re a solid team Wolfie and Kalder are both fairly mediocre individually; with a bit more experience they should really make their teamwork pop but for right now we’re a little too dependent on the two of them playing above their level and they’re not consistently able to do that. In fairness they play their characters exceptionally well, and it’s not like there was a big gap between Wolfie and the Masters but that doesn’t remove all the concerns. As for Sandman and Historian, they’ve both performed better in other matches but are a solid team with championship ability (at least theoretically, the Aces have kind of kicked @ss recently), and if I had the chance at a do-over I’d have brought them in from day one to be part of No Remorse Corps. As it stands, though, I didn’t and the Hot Taggs got the win, putting The Historian away with the Montana Slammer. Winners: The Hot Taggs Match Rating: 27 * vsvsvs Chip Martin vs. Mercutio Sleep vs. Roger Monteiro vs. Sione Tokoeka You know how I said that Chip had suddenly gotten good last month? Yeah, that might have been a flash in the pan. He was still decent, here, make no mistake about that, but putting him with three of our top guys (well, two and a high-performing midcard player) exposed how much work he’s still got to do. As for the others, Sione’s not ready for a big push but continues to deliver solid performances, Mercutio’s really taken off since he moved into the tag ranks and Roger…kind of hasn’t. A lot of that’s my fault, Remmy’s more consistent and Tavon’s really taken off so Monteiro’s lost a lot of focus- I haven’t had him cut a promo in a while, for example- but there’s no denying the fact that he’s not a consistent performer the way some of the others are. Still, we can rebuild his momentum fairly easily and maybe tightening up the Wolfpack vs. NRC feud will give him enough juice (it’s become a little vague of late, we need to sort that out). He took the win here as the top singles star in the match (Sleep’s a tag guy); Chip got Mercutio with a Super Kick, Sione took Chip down with the Brainbuster Suplex and then Roger hit his comeback dropkick on him and went up top for the Eagle Splash. Winner: Roger Monteiro Match Rating: 34 * It’s time to hear from Tavon Blake ahead of his match tonight. Yeah, Tavon’s making it really hard to hold off on pulling the trigger on a title switch. Rating: 39 * vs Tavon Blake Jr. vs. The Masked Mauler VII This is probably the main event at next year’s Won’t Get Fooled Again, so the first signs are very positive- Tavon’s our best performer by some way and Mauler continues to hand in very strong performances. Admittedly they’re both otherwise engaged right now but I’ve got at least six months to bring those to a conclusion so it’s not even a minor issue. As for this match, it was the best we’ve had since, well, technically since the COTT Title match last month, but this one was the best we’ve had with the regular roster. Given a bit more build and time for the two to develop and this could be the best match we ever do, but right now this is just a teaser, something we can look back on in a few years’ time as an interesting historical footnote. Tavon took the win tonight after a series of reversals (Piledriver into a Figure Four into a collision with the turnbuckle and an Iron Claw) ended with the Hangman’s Neckbreaker. Winner: Tavon Blake Jr. Match Rating: 40 * This was a decent angle that mostly helped cement Tavon’s membership in the Wolfpack, though it didn’t do either of our major feuds any favours. Still, it helped progress both stories and should open up some new match options. Rating: 30 * vs The Aces of Mayhem vs. Hearts of Ice This match saw the debut of Ray’s girlfriend Cheerleader Nicki, who we brought across from New York because…well, she’s Ray’s girlfriend and I think most of the roster didn’t believe he was capable of smiling. She did a solid job, got her gimmick of a cheating valet over well, but the real story of the match was how insanely good Max has suddenly become; he may not be capable of handling a singles push anymore (though now he’s left The Warehouse we should be able to keep his body together a bit more) but the man’s just about the best we’ve got in the tag division. Ace did his part too, make no mistake, whilst H.O.I shook out pretty much how you’d expect (Ricky was good, Ray was great) and the whole made for one of the best matches we’ve ever put on. Max got the win here- depending on how his body holds out I don’t the belts changing hands for at least a year- after a dropkick on Ricky that dropped him off the apron and onto Nicki and a Chaos Effect on the Ice Man. Winners: The Aces of Mayhem Match Rating: 39 * vs The Silencer vs. Remmy Honeyman There was a fair bit of pressure on The Silencer here; after the last two matches he needed to prove he was still good enough to lead the roster and hold the top title. I shouldn’t have worried, this guy thrives on competition and was the top performer of the night, which begins to raise questions as to why TCW haven’t picked him up yet (seriously, we keep hearing reports of them looking to pick up new talent and nothing ever happens so why not just raid us? At this point I’m starting to get offended). As for Remmy, there’s a reason I always call him rock solid; he does a job and always makes his opponent look great, though I don’t see him as a Heavyweight Champion. He’s got the talent, make no mistake, but his matches are always about the other guy and that doesn’t work with the top belt. With that in mind it shouldn’t be a surprise that The Silencer won this one; Remmy had him down and was going for the Honeyman Special only for Haley to distract the ref whilst Mauler hit the ring and laid Remmy out with a chair shot to the face (well, to Remmy’s arms as he covered up but you get the point), allowing Silencer to recover and get the pinfall. Winner: The Silencer Match Rating: 42 Overall Rating: 40, a pleasingly low drop-off from last month’s anomaly. Plaudits go to Max, Silencer and Mauler.

RMW Won’t Get Fooled Again 2020 From The Park County Fairground in Wyoming Sunday, Week 3, June Audience: 80 The Show Sandman Winks vs. Chuck Casey We kicked things off with a match featuring the two guys who didn’t have anything else planned for tonight. As usual it turned out pretty well- both of these guys are rookies but Sandman’s got all the intangibles you could want and Chuck’s the kind of solid meat-and-potatoes worker that we can really build around. Still, whilst this was decent enough as an opener I wouldn’t put it any higher up the card; of all our rookies these two definitely aren’t the top performers and will need a lot of time and improvement before they’re ready for a top spot or even a serious midcard run (in singles competition anyways; Sandman’s got a lot to give in the tag ranks with The Historian). You can probably guess who took the win, but let’s say it officially; Sandman took the win, choking Chuck out with the Deep Sleep. Winner: Sandman Winks Match Rating: 23 * The haunting sounds of ‘The End’ announce the arrival of No Remorse Corps, and the fact that Haley Buck’s holding a mic makes it clear what they’re doing out here. “Tonight No Remorse Corps has an unparalleled opportunity to stamp our authority on Rocky Mountain Wrestling. We have three matches tonight, and when the curtain falls at the end of the show we will have three victories. Stanley Axis may value fair play but he clearly doesn’t value his own life if he think he has a chance against Dominic DeGraff tonight, that match will only end with him looking at the lights wondering where it all went wrong. The Aces of Mayhem are a veteran tag team but I promise you and that cocky little weasel Mercutio Sleep, it doesn’t matter what you do tonight The Hot Taggs will dominate all four of their opponents and win the Tag Team Titles tonight. and Pablo Rodriguez? You may be a legend of lucha libre but Mexico’s a long way from Park County, Wyoming and in this building there’s nothing you can do to stop The Silencer from taking the Confederation of the Territories’ World Heavyweight Championship. Right now? We have one belt, but we’ll finish the night will all…three…belts.” This was another good promo from Haley- she was probably our best talker when she first got here and it hasn’t changed since, especially now we write her promos out in advance. Rating: 31 * Young and Fearless vs. Men of Ice Okay, when did Chip get good? I mean, he was still the number three guy here by some distance, but all of a sudden he’s gone from being a rookie project to showing actual promise, and given that Men of Ice are both veterans he was never likely to overtake them anyways. It doesn’t change my plans particularly- even if Chip’s improved Pep was still at project level and their team’s definitely a long-term thing- but it’s still good to see dramatic improvement from an RMW-exclusive talent that can’t be put on Wrestleworld exposure. Also, let’s not lose sight of the fact that Men of Ice were definitely the stronger performers, Young and Fearless need polish but I could throw Ray and Ricky into a title match at any time and be confident they’d perform (although Ray’s momentum needs to improve a lot). Ricky took the win tonight- I want to get his overness going ASAP- via submission, locking Pepper in the Figure Four Leglock whilst Ray blocked Chip’s interference with a Backfist. Winners: Men of Ice Match Rating: 29 * Stanley Axis vs. Dominic DeGraff Although this was a decent match, I was disappointed by how mediocre Dom and Stan’s individual performances were. Admittedly I’m having a hard time figuring out what to expect as everyone’s apparently considered a star for us (the result of everyone being around the same name value, I think), which means I can’t always tell who’s actually a star and who’s just a midcard guy with a lot of overness. Dom and Stan are probably still midcard guys with name value, and for all Stan can definitely deliver against the right opponent he’s too boring to be the star attraction and carry anything. As for Dom, he’s a solid hand and his performance has definitely improved but I probably expected main-event performance from him two or three years too early; give it time and he’ll definitely be a top guy for us but expecting him to perform up to the standard of Ray Snow or Ricky Turner (both low-charisma dudes with good workrate, probably Dom’s nearest veteran comparison) is maybe a bit presumptuous. On the plus side, he and Haley have developed really good chemistry, and even if he’s not top level just yet I still like him way more than Stan so he took the win here, putting Axis away with the Double Arm DDT. Winner: Dominic DeGraff Match Rating: 27 * We cut to backstage, where Tavon is coming out of his locker room ahead of the contenders’ elimination match. It’s at this point that Wolfie blindsides him with the Mafia Kick before throwing Blake into Kalder’s Spinebuster, leaving Tavon laid out on the floor. Slight admission here; I forgot that we ran this exact same angle last month and the crowd clearly remembered- the reaction wasn’t bad but it could’ve been hotter. Still, the boys mixed it up a bit by incorporating the finishers and I can always rule of three this next month and run a variant angle, then it becomes a deliberate thing and not just lazy booking. Rating: 33 * Roger Monteiro vs. The Historian vs. The Masked Mauler VII vs. Remmy Honeyman vs. Tavon Blake Jr. I think this one might be the best match we’ve done yet; it certainly wouldn’t surprise me, given that it was longer than usual (24 minutes rather than 20, we had extra time to fill) and featured five of our best workers, albeit there were only four of them at any one time as we had Tavon coming out later to sell the beatdown. First out was Monteiro at 8 minutes via count-out after Mauler hit him with a Piledriver on the apron, and Historian followed a few minutes later after another piledriver from Mauler. It was at this point that Tavon arrived, and despite still being hurt he was able to reverse an attempted Piledriver into the Figure Four and Remmy used that to pin Mauler and eliminate him. It was at this point that Silencer arrived, blasting Blake with a chair shot to the back and going after Remmy before Roger (who’d been recuperating at ringside to sell the bump from earlier) suckered the cerebral strongman into eating a comeback dropkick that drove the champ from the ring. In the end, this went to Remmy; Tavon went for a back splash but Honeyman dodged, and with Blake still selling the chair shot it was easy for Remmy to get a pinfall victory. Winner: Remmy Honeyman Match Rating: 37 * Aces of Mayhem vs. The Hot Taggs vs. The Bad Guys This one was another pretty good bout; not quite up there with the elimination match but then that one had five of our best and this one didn’t. Don’t get me wrong, The Aces are a brilliant tag team and Mercutio and Sione have responded really well to the being put in a team but Kalder and Wolfie are inexperienced bruisers who’re still learning how to bump and Max’s body continues to break down on him. Still, Max can still go better than anyone else in the tag division and once the Taggs have a bit more experience as a team they should start to really take off so it’s still good news generally speaking. As for the finish, right up to this morning I wasn’t sure who to go with as inaugural champs as all three teams have an argument (Bad Guys have been surprise performers, Taggs are part of our top heel stable and the Aces are our most experienced team) but in the end experience won out and the Aces got the win; the Taggs took out Sione with a Montana Slammer but before they could capitalise Ace dropped Kalder with a Flying Tomahawk Chop and the Aces hit Wolfie with the Chaos Effect to win the belts. Winners: The Aces of Mayhem Match Rating:SIZE="4"]35[/size] * Pablo Rodriguez vs. The Silencer I always knew this one would be disproportionately good; Pablo’s roughly twice as over as anyone else on the roster and, well, there’s a reason he’s a legend of lucha libre; this dude can go. In fairness to Silencer, he’s a good worker in his own right and matched up well with Pablo (David vs. Goliath might be a cliché but it got that way ‘cos it works) to give probably his best performance yet, but whilst the record may count this as an official RMW match I’m gonna go softly on this, it’s kind of unfair to look at this as what our roster can achieve when the cornerstone of the match is a guest and a much bigger name than anyone we’ve got. Sure, it’s a nice goal to aspire to, and Pablo’s age and stamina definitely held him back so there’s always a chance Tavon or Silencer could get up there to match his performance in a year or so’s time. For now, though, Pablo’s still got the talent and, again, twice the overness of anyone else on the roster so he took the win here, escaping an attempt at the Drop Zone and going up top to hit the Sinner’s Salvation (diving hurracarana) to get the pinfall and retain the COTT World Heavyweight Title. Winner: Pablo Rodriguez Match Rating: 53 Overall Rating: 45, the best show yet (as if that was a surprise), though apparently we massively overused Chuck Casey. Plaudits go to Max and Haley for strong performance while we point out Pablo as a good example to follow.

I think this'd be cool, we've already seen it happen in the C-Verse with Curtis Jenkins so some kind of narrative function or the like would be neat.

This whole run on Snake King was great- the fact that you also worked in some explanation of Rey Soldado was much appreciated, a lot of the multiverse rando's are the ones I have trouble keeping track of and slotting them into bigger stories like this helps flesh them out. Looking forward to the next show, wish I could write something this good (also, how much work do those powerpoints take to create and upload? oof).
