  1. Fun show, one of these days I'll actually manage to post predictions in time.
  2. SINGLES | ONE FALL WHITE WOLF VS. PRINCE BRADY Wolf is generally the stronger worker, and it doesn't feel like Brady's a guy you're building around SINGLES | ONE FALL THE MASKED MAULER VS. GREGORY VENNE Mauler's great, Greg's just kinda there SINGLES | ONE FALL BENNY OUTLAW VS. DEGRAFF DASTARDLY DeGraff, like Mauler, is great. Benny is very much just a warm body SINGLES | ONE FALL TEXAS HANGMAN VS. KIDD THUNDER |Both of these guys feel like big future prospects but Hangman's further along the path CO-MAIN EVENT 3-WAY TAG ELIMINATION | OCW TAG TEAM TITLES ON THE LINE! THE MONTANA MERCENARIES VS. THE FREEDOM FIGHTERS VS. THE MID-SOUTH MAFIA The Freedom Fighters are great, and I honestly can't remember who the Mafia are MAIN EVENT SINGLES CONTEST | NON-TITLE REMATCH | ONE FALL ROGER EAGLE VS. THE RINGLEADER Any west coast indy will need Roger (certainly I can never find an alternate for RMW), and he's a great guy to build around
  3. Enjoying this so far- are you using a face/heel divide? 'Cos it's not always obvious which side people are on.
  4. TCW TV Title- Greg Gauge © vs Troy Tornado Freddy Huggins vs Doc Hammond The Supremacy vs Benny Benson & Flying Jimmy Foxx Really enjoying this one, keep up the good work
  5. Onslaught vs. The Masked Mauler VII I will never pick against Mauler, even when I probably should Nate DeMarcus vs. Seth James Wilson SJW's received more focus but Nate's a better worker and it's not like Wilson needs wins anyway Astro, Paulie Pelton, Jerry Pepper vs. The Jet Set I could see a flash pinfall if it was just Jerry vs. one or two of the Jet Set but Astro and Paulie aren't really good enough to get a win here Langston “Lion Heart” Franklin vs. "The Man's Man" Cip Conduit I don't see any reason for Lion Heart to get a win over Cip Conner Threepwood vs. Sasquatch McGraw Sasquatch is surprisingly good for a big man and could be a main-event star for you down the line but Conner's at that spot right now For the NEW Championship: Mullet Mike vs. Raphael © I mean...c'mon, really?
  6. Shoot, missed the predictions. Good show, though, and I look forward to seeing how the tag tournament shakes out.
  7. This is a fun read, and you do a great job of capturing that LU feel without making it a straight copy of the actual show.
  8. EMLL's always a good time, and this was a great first show- easy to follow and introduced a lot of different characters.
  9. Langston “Lion Heart” Franklin vs. Seth James Wilson I could be wrong here but it feels like Wilson has had more focus which suggests he's going over here Jerry Pepper vs. Tavon Blake Jr. The Jet Set are awesome but they remind me so much of The Dynasty that I instinctively want them to suffer Astro & Paulie Pelton vs. Brutality Incorporated (Deathwish & Sasquatch McGraw) They have a name, and are also both surprisingly good Nate DeMarcus & BP SWOLL vs. The Jet Set See my last comment on the Jet Set Onslaught vs. The Masked Mauler VII Mauler's just the best Devil Dog vs. Remmy Honeyman Remmy has main-event level talent, even if he's not really a credible top guy Who will be crowned the first-ever NEW Champion? (Cip Conduit, Conner Threepwood, Jerry Martin, or Raphael) I genuinely have no idea on this one as none of these have really jumped out to me. I'm going to go for Jerry, though, as he's an established name in New England
  10. Good start- I'll hold off on predicting 'til after the Crockett Cup as it's still hard to figure out who fits where but I'm definitely reading.
  11. <p><strong>Brutus Milano</strong> Vs. Ozzie Goldstein – NYCW Empire Championship</p><p> <em>Not sure if Ozzie's being set up as the next big contender or anything but I don't see Brutus losing here, even if it's maybe via DQ or something</em></p><p> </p><p> <strong>Hawkeye Calhoun</strong> Vs. Tennessee William</p><p> <em>I forgot that Tennessee was on his way out last month, not making the same mistake twice</em></p><p> </p><p> LA Star #1 Vs. The New York Doll Vs. LA Star #2 Vs. <strong>Denny King</strong> – Four Corner Survival</p><p> <em>The LA Stars are tag guys and Doll's already had some singles chances so it's Denny's turn</em></p><p> </p><p> <strong>Freedom Eagle, Charlie Corner, & Dominic Degraff</strong> Vs. Sal Dimeo & The Italian Americans</p><p> <em>Eagle and Dom are two of my favourites so they get the W here</em></p><p> </p><p> <strong>Riley McManus & Masked Stranger</strong> Vs. The Boys From The Yukon – NYCW Tag-Team Titles</p><p> <em>Ordinarily I'd go with the regular tag team but Riley and Stranger are too over to bet against</em></p><p> </p><p> Curtis Shaw, Crocket Tubbs, & Happy Elwood Vs. <strong>Andrew Harper, Richie Riggins, & Devastating Don</strong></p><p> <em>Much as I hate Don unconditionally you seem to like him and Harper and Richie are decent</em></p><p> </p><p> The Casey Brothers Vs. <strong>Quentin Queen & Super Massive Destroyer</strong></p><p> <em>Destroyer's rubbish but I can see why you'd want to push him</em></p><p> </p><p> Jonah Pilgrim Vs. <strong>Ray Snow</strong></p><p> <em>He's better</em></p><p> </p><p> <strong>Geoff Borne</strong> Vs. Machine Gun Marino</p><p> <em>Marino's not bad but Geoff's easier to build around, and provides some variety in the upper reaches of the card</em></p>
  12. <p>Few more venues to finish out the North West.</p><p> </p><p> Name: The Cowboy Palace</p><p> Open Date: May 1970</p><p> Location: North West</p><p> Venue Size: 321</p><p> Description: The Cowboy Palace in Southern Idaho has been a popular venue for wrestling shows going back years.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> Name: Big Sky Auditorium</p><p> Open Date: December 2019</p><p> Location: North West</p><p> Venue Size: 711</p><p> Description: A converted auction house in Missoula, Montana, Big Sky Auditorium is one of the newest wrestling arenas in the world.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> Name: Yellowstone Pavilion</p><p> Open Date: October 1980</p><p> Location: North West</p><p> Venue Size: 1357</p><p> Description: An events centre in the heart of Yellowstone National Park, Yellowstone Pavilion is difficult to get to but it's spectacular surroundings and excellent facilities make it a worthwhile trip.</p>
  13. Some more venues for the areas that haven't had any yet. And yeah, I wasn't sure what size to go for with Trelawney's so I just picked a number (I've never actually set foot in a proper barn so it's all guesswork). Name: The Chuck Open Date: January 2004 Location: Manitoba, Canada Size: 432 Description: Named for Manitoba Pirates legend Chuck Barochevski, The Chuck is a biggish sports bar that often hosts wrestling shows. The cheap alcohol makes it very popular, for some reason... Name: Halifax Grand Arena Open Date: January 2010 Location: Halifax, Nova Scotia (The Maritimes) Size: 17,656 Description: Precisely why Halifax hosts such a large arena is something of a mystery as it's hardly ever used. Still, more than one wrestling show has come through the arena since it opened. Name: Juutilainen Bar & Grill Open Date: March 1982 Location: Helsinki, Finland Size: 567 Description: We're not saying the staff of the Juutilainen Bar & Grill kill the meat with their bare hands, but given that it's one of the most popular venues in the world's most badass country we wouldn't be surprised. Name: Vlad Tepes Auditorium Open Date: January 1952 Location: Romania, Southern Europe Size: 702 Description: Located in a converted castle in Transylvania, the Vlad Tepes Auditorium is almost certainly owned by a vampire. Name: The Beachfront Open Date: August 2009 Location: Adelaide, South Australia Size: 884 Description: A purpose-built Roller Derby arena located right on the seashore (as the name would suggest), The Beachfront also hosts wrestling shows.
  14. This is really great stuff- you've even made me not hate Jay Chord's guts a little (I mean, he's still the biggest pr*ck I've ever had to deal with in TEW but it's hard to argue with the results you're getting out of him).
  15. <p>Brutus Milano vs. <strong>Tennessee William</strong> – Two out of Three Falls for the Empire Championship</p><p> <em>I like two out of three falls matches, and it's a good way to take the belt off Milano without damaging him too badly</em></p><p> </p><p> <strong>Riley McManus</strong> vs. Richie Riggins</p><p> <em>Richie's better in '20 than he was in the past but I still don't quite see him as a guy on Riley's level</em></p><p> </p><p> Charlie Corner vs. <strong>Vito Pirelli</strong></p><p> <em>I still struggle to remember which member of the DiMeo family's which but they're all higher up on the card than Charlie</em></p><p> </p><p> Crockett Tubbs vs. <strong>Quentin Queen</strong></p><p> <em>Quentin's a good multipurpose guy for any indy company- I always use him in RMW games</em></p><p> </p><p> Happy Elwood vs. The New York Doll vs. Tully Casey vs. <strong>Ozzie Goldstein</strong></p><p> <em>Ozzie seems like the top guy here, though I wouldn't be surprised if Doll took it</em></p><p> </p><p> Dominic DeGraff vs. <strong>Sal DiMeo</strong></p><p> <em>I love Dom DeGraff but Sal's one of the bright young things of RMW- plus, he's kind of a pr*ck when he loses</em></p><p> </p><p> Curtis Shaw vs. <strong>Andrew Harper</strong></p><p> <em>I like him more</em></p><p> </p><p> Geoff Borne vs. <strong>Ray Snow</strong></p><p> <em>See above</em></p><p> </p><p> <strong>Masked Stranger & The LA Stars</strong> vs. Denny King & The Boys from the Yukon</p><p> <em>Hmmm...one of NYCW's best in-ring tag teams and a legit top worker against solid but uninspiring veterans? Yeah, I know which way I'm calling this</em></p>
  16. Venue Name: Trelawney's Open Date: January 1950 Location: Southern England Size: 2,334 Description: Possibly the oldest wrestling venue in the UK, Trelawney's in St. Austell is really just an old barn but the sense of history make it an attractive choice for smaller promotions. Venue Name: The Gallery in Birmingham Open Date: March 2000 Location: Midlands Size: 765 Description: An avant-garde art gallery, as the name might suggest, The Gallery in Birmingham is notable for it's striking layout that puts the ring and entrance ways in the middle of the artwork. Venue Name: St. Kentigern's Church Hall Open Date: March 2002 Location: Ireland Size: 203 Description: Still an active church hall in Galway, St. Kentigern's hosts wrestling shows to help raise funds for the church. Venue Name: The Park County Fairgrounds Open Date: March 1988 Location: North West, United States Size: 102 Description: One of the most popular venues in Wyoming, The Park County Fairgrounds is small but the excellent facilities and good atmosphere means it's always a good option for start-up companies. Venue Name: Icetown Open Date: February 2004 Location: Saskatchewan Size: 409 Description: An ice-skating complex in Moose Jaw, Icetown makes for an unusual but visually striking venue for wrestling show.
  17. Venue Name: The Maltings Open Date: March 2012 Location: Northern England, UK & Ireland Venue Size: 400 Description: A large sports bar in the city of York, The Maltings has recently started hosting wrestling shows. It's not the biggest venue but does brisk business thanks to the cheap alcohol and surprisingly high standard of cleanliness. Venue Name: The Frontier Auditorium Open Date: July 1970 Location: North West, USA Venue Size: 100 Description: An old-timey theatre in Powell, Wyoming, The Frontier Auditorium has been hosting wrestling shows for years. Venue Name: Toby's Place Open Date: October 1990 Location: Tasmania, Oceania Venue Size: 50 Description: Possibly the smallest wrestling venue in the world, Toby's Place definitely isn't the back room of somebody's house...honest.
