Yeah, that's fine if you're doing prediction contests. They rewards have been a thing as long as I've been around.

I cannot emphasise what Mammoth has said here enough and it goes both ways too. Writers shouldn't be discouraged if they're not getting a lot of views/comments (I've been there before!). It's a bit Field of Dreams but if you write it and you write it long term, people will come if they're interested.

Yeah, as jhd said the only thing would be to link here. We've no issues with blogs/saves/diaries/full motion videos etc using the mod but just ask that for anyone porting to another game or thinking about doing any mod work to contact us first to pitch and then go from there. Without meaning to sound all big headed, this has been jhd's child for over a decade now (and I'm surely coming up to the big double digit mark now too!) so we do like to keep creative rights.

Once the pack is complete I'll do an upload. Also Mammoth, the team consensus is that "GILL has a September event?" so you have free reign for a name and concept, I'll update in the mod to whatever you come up with!

Only just noticed the Avalanche logo is in the Avs colours, a poster after my own heart! The whole set of logos you've done are superb Mammoth. Once you're done and have them synced up, I'm happy to upload a download that includes them with the rest of the mod as long as you are.

To be fair, this is the first year where RevPro have made as big a deal (Going Copper Box etc) for the anniversary. Normally it's just the bog standard York Hall affair, it's definitely not their WrestleMania type show (saying that, no one over here has a show with that time of prestige). Moot has it right on why shows are popping up, they want to do a Mania weekend type feel except in a city with absolutely terrible public transport so we'll see how that goes. 😅

You only need the permission if you're using html code for it I think. If you're just wanting to do it native, it's a case of attaching files to a post and then formatting to your hearts content I think.

Just a reminder that this thread shouldn't really be used to post when you've posted a show in a dynasty, it's a bit counterproductive that way as people will see the update there already. This should largely be used for ideas/questions about running them/promo posts before the diary/dynasty is still in the workshop phase. The odd promotion post is fine but the last few pages have mostly been promotion for existing works.

Not going to do some big state of the thread address but that's twice in the space of a week that mods have had to step into this thread because of petty back and forth stemming from one or two posts. I've removed the posts now and this is the last of it. If it continues after this, anyone carrying on will get warnings or whatever else comes from it. I'm going to reopen the thread but I'd like to remind/show everyone who reads this post a handy trick for ignoring people that you don't want to see posts from. Click on your profile dropdown on the top left and go to ignored users. From there, add anyone you don't want to see posts, mentions or messages from. If anyone feels like this is overreaching or silencing criticism of AEW, I'd like to reiterate that's not the case. I, personally, don't really care for AEW one way or the other so if people are being blunt about it that's nothing to me and I presume the other mods are largely the same. We'll only step in if it goes past fair criticism and goes into posts that are either attacking other users or deliberately worded to provoke a reaction. If that's not to anyone's liking, you're welcome to find another space on the internet to discuss AEW (or any other topic, AEW is just the example because of the thread this is in).

to go all well actually about it, if it was like a proper draft they'd be doing the NIL guys. To use the NHL as a loose example, Raw/Smackdown are the NHL, NXT is the AHL and then I guess NIL is your draft prospects.

Believe it or not, I nor the rest of the mods check every thread on this board. Your post that I said knock it off about got sent my way. Again, knock it off with the talk of cultism or attacking fans - it's not conductive to any sort of discussion. I'm not saying you can't be critical but when you're just taking random potshots at people and trying to cover it as criticism, that's when the mods will step in. If that's not to your liking, you are welcome to find another space on the internet to post in.
