  1. In the Hidden Gems section in the Creative Meeting there are a couple of guys that I really have no interest in, it would be nice if I could click "Ignore Worker" or something to remove them from there to allow a slot for someone else.
  2. It's not so much people being critical but there is an entire reaction thread, an entire suggestions section and an entire tech support section to handle those queries. The latter is monitored by the lead developer himself. I take your point with transparency but the rest of the dev team being testers frankly would be unlikely to enlighten us with too much information in the development process. If people asked them questions it would likely just be passed to adam anyway, their response would surely be "I just tested it, I will chase up with adam" etc. Unless I'm absolutely out of the loop with the development (maybe you could clarify), but I thought it was simply Adam is the developer, they have a UI guy and then a team of testers Adam picked from the forums. Again, I dont see what the testers could offer to shed light into the dev process if that's the case.
  3. <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="Donners" data-cite="Donners" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="49044" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>Elsewhere that generally applies to paid members of the team, in my experience. Unpaid testers are usually anonymous - indeed, NDAs typically require anonymity. <p> </p><p> I alpha and beta tested Football Manager for a decade, but was not allowed to state that on the forums even after testing finished each year.</p><p> </p><p> As far as I know, there are only two paid members of the dev team here - Adam and the artist.</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> This is a very fair post imo. Also, we arent the alpha testers, we are the beta testers, the alpha testers were the chaps behind closed doors were they not?</p><p> An NDA for these testers to sign before a commercial release of a product isnt at all farfetched either so calling it a bad comparison may not be the case.</p><p> </p><p> At this point I dont see what benefit it gives for the dev team to come out and reveal themselves, it would likely cause nothing more than them getting a headache from people as most messages they receive will be "How did you miss x and y", it serves no real benefit at this point.</p><p> </p><p> At the end of the day people make up their own minds and very much have done already since beta release, if there are people on the dev team doing what you claim (the "whataboutisms"), I genuinely cant see it holding much influence.</p>
  4. That Office screen and the general theme now is absolutely superb, well done and thank you to Adam and the UI chap (sorry I forgot his name) for such an impressive turnaround. The game UI has now gone from a third party skin being mandatory to being the nicest looking TEW to date. My tiny issue would be the pale blue and pale green skill grades are far too similar to each other. I see no place at all for pale/subtle colours here tbh. Each colour bracket should be bold to stand out for their own reason. The extra month on the trial was also unexpected but hugely appreciated, I can really lay the foundations into a proper playthrough now knowing that release is just around the corner I feel like I can actually commit to it. Overall colour me impressed.
  5. Kam please, please, please do CWW. It doesn't need "Wigan" in the name but its begging for a good logo. Yours are different level.
  6. Eff they work so well, superb work again mate.
  7. I see Eff has kindly given permission for these to be used on a CV background so I've tried my best at putting a couple of images on, let me know if they're as expected. If it looks ok to everyone and Eff is still happy, I can try and do a few more. It will probably take me a lot longer than someone who has actual experience image editing though ha.
  8. 100% this I suggested the tag teams yesterday but the relationships too would be great.
  9. Started an NWA game and can see there are a few "Gloomy" characters. Ricky Morton, Robert Gibson and Sean Mooney all have the attributes which strikes me as odd. The 3 of them make for a negative backstage environment which I dont think would be the case for these 3 individuals.
  10. This is excellent, I made a comparison tool myself a while back but your skillset far "Excels" mine here. Some really clever bits and pieces going on here. Really great work on this, much appreciated.
  11. When going through a roster it would be nice to see if they are in a tag team without having to jump into their profile. We can see if they are in a stable but not a tag team unless I'm missing something obvious. I think at the moment I have to go into the workers' profile and then personal info, or come out of the roster screen entirely and into the tag team screen. Would there be any chance of this being added in?
  12. Amazing, any idea how do you get these onto the CV background?
  13. Data and Pic links ae both still just the data mate and the Skin link isn't working at all for me.
  14. Nope, fully on board with you mate. Couldnt be any more of a non-issue for me and how I play the game.
  15. There is an entire editor for mods. Many mod makers have said making mods and general editing is a lot easier now after playing around with it. With the exception of the UI (being worked on by devs and there are already some cracking skins in place) and the product customisation (I cant think of a historical or current promotion who's product wouldnt be covered in the current presets off the top of my head either to be honest), I dont know what they key big issues are, especially pertaining to "doesnt care about mod makers". This game goes far beyond a load of other games when it comes to data mods. I was also one of the many disappointed with the original release and absolutely let my comments known particular in the discord, however I think the effort being put in on patches and the latest note about what they are looking to address is exceptional support.
  16. <p>I'm all about numbers, grades were a nice alternative for some bits but numbers are a lot more accurate, also you have the variance groups 45-70 etc.</p><p> </p><p> I'm going to be another to make the comparison but, coming from Football Manager, it's very easy to make the transition.</p>
  17. Hes named his main event wrestler "stable"? Micheal, you're befriending a man who uses a collective term for a singular worker!
  18. <p>Idea for a show.</p><p> </p><p> Alan partridge asks mr. Kennedy on the pedestrianisation of Norwich city centre. It must not, I repeat must not turn into an all night rave.</p>
  19. <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="tormyb" data-cite="tormyb" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="47578" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>Haha!<p> </p><p> Boss: You haven't achieved any of your goals this year.</p><p> Internal memo: tormyb vows to end goal drought.</p><p> </p><p> Says a lot about my abilities, that the first new report I think of from the game is about my striker not scoring!</p><p> </p><p> Actually, I better stop talking about FM. I won't stop.</p><p> </p><p> What about this new TEW 20 game eh? I hear there's a hell of a box-to-box midfielder called Tommy Cornell.</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> Tommy Cornell is surely the N'Golo Kante of TEW, literally runs the play and very few weaknesses outside of maybe requiring a touch more flair.</p><p> </p><p> The thing FM and TEW have on common and both do very, very well is the ability to make you hate real life counterparts becasue of their actions in the game.</p><p> </p><p> Neil Warnock can go **** himself for comments he made about me in a build up to an FA cup Quarter Final, I've hated him for a good 12 years.</p><p> </p><p> Randy Orton turned down an offer I made to him when I already pencilled in around 4-6 months of story for him in TEW 05. He doesn't exist to me now.</p>
  20. Wife: Fox, do you want tea? Me: Those reports are preposterous, I've never even heard of tea!
  21. <p>Can we get an option to overwrite an existing MDB file when exporting if a file exists of the same name at all please?</p><p> </p><p> At the moment when I want to do that, I need to save it as a different name, then go into file explorer, delete the old and rename the new. A bit of a faff on to just save over.</p><p> </p><p> Cheers.</p>
  22. <p>I only have 1 show left to do in the trial and that is my second tournament final. Its a 30-Minute Iron Man Match between Curtis Jenkins and Padraig O'Hearne. </p><p> </p><p> Here is the Tale of the Tape (Note: The Premier League season hasn't started and won't until the full game comes out so their position is purely alphabetical but the World Ranking and Total CWW record are correct) the final will be a close one!</p><p> <img alt="w0aSqil.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/w0aSqil.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> I also made a very basic roster overview as a quick view in my Excel file:</p><p> <img alt="q1xuyOl.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/q1xuyOl.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> For anyone interested, here are their skills compared:</p><p> <img alt="jtXTXIb.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/jtXTXIb.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> </p><p> With only 2 pop points between Jenkins and O'Hearne and an exact same Total W/L record, the final should make for a very interesting match.</p>
  23. Kam every release you bring out of this somehow surpasses the former. Absolutely incredible work once again!
  24. Just to echo what Blackman said, I have been playing as CWW and have done 5 shows ranging from 30-37 in rating. That's a performance of between 18-25 better than my popularity. I'm at 7% prestige and 15% momentum. The UK economy is at 41 and rising and the industry is at 24 and rising. At the moment I am blaming it on the Industry level (I thought it was the 41 and didn't look properly originally), but it is a bit off-putting having every single show so far tell me it's not increased my popularity. I'm wondering what the equation is for its calculation. I dont think it will be as cut and dry as Industry being a % of your show grade (e.g. 24 industry on a 37 rated card = 9.99), but it could be and would explain not getting any gain from a 12 pop company.
  25. <p>These are absolutely fantastic, the NYCW ones are so, so good mate.</p><p> </p><p> I think you missed off the UKWL logo btw, you mention it but only put the belts on.</p>
