  1. Might be my eyes but I can't see him in the pdf mate. Searched for him in the data too but..... no dice. I'll see myself out. Thanks a lot for taking the other bits into consideration too, much appreciated.
  2. If he is making appearances for them, I would say to just whack a PPA on him.
  3. <p>Just a few NWA notes:</p><p> </p><p> - The company have a very strong working relationship with RoH</p><p> - The show is called Powerrr (3 'r's)</p><p> - No logo is set to the company</p><p> </p><p> - Eddie Kingston works with NWA under PPA</p><p> - Thunder Rosa works with NWA under PPA and is the Women's Champion</p><p> - Melina works with NWA under PPA</p><p> - Sean Mooney is an announcer for the company</p><p> - Scott Steiner made 2 appearances so far... not sure if that is worth a PPA or not</p><p> - RoH Tag team "The Bouncers" worked the last Powerrr show</p><p> </p><p> - Ricky Starks is the Television Champion</p><p> - James Storm and Eli Drake are the Tag Team champions and both work as faces</p><p> - The Dawsons should probably both be heavyweights and are managed by Pope</p><p> - Nick Aldis has a stable called Strictly Business with Tom Latimer, Royce Isaacs and Kamille</p><p> - Tim Storm should probably have a boost in OVR as he works a lot higher up the card from Opener, maybe Upper Midcard</p><p> - Sal Rinauro works as a Face</p><p> - Mr. Anderson works as a Heel</p><p> - Caleb Konley works as a face</p><p> - Allysin Kay works as a face</p><p> - Marty Scurll is set to Midcarder but is one of the company's top stars in their main program with Aldis and probably possesses one of the higher name values in the company</p><p> - Marti Belle is aligned with Thunder Rosa and Melina as heels</p><p> - Jocephus works under the name "The Question Mark"</p><p> </p><p> EDIT: I believe Zicky Dice needs to be created in the game and added to the roster too</p>
  4. Little quality of life improvements like this are what seperate top developers from good developers in my opinion. Doing this shows you are thinking about your consumer base and their ease of use experience at the forefront. These little changes might not seem as game changing to some as the run child companies feature but they will end up being a huge factor for general game-time. Brilliant.
  5. <p>I have been thinking a lot recently about how respect could be a more important factor with regards to gameworld interaction. It could even be a big driving force. </p><p> </p><p> One thing for the Child companies new feature (which is bloody amazing!) would be along the lines of the parent promotion giving more time informing when a worker is getting sent down/called up when possible depending on how high the user characters respect stat is. </p><p> </p><p> I think Respect has the potential to be a brilliant game-changing stat.</p>

Not sure as I'm at work but hat might save you a couple of clicks at least. If it works.</p>
  7. This is absolutely fantastic mate, massive well done on what you have put together so far. I tend to stick to CV and TV in my fictional world games but this looks like it's going to change that, looks really fun.
  8. FINALLY got some time off to get back into TEW and the first thing I did naturally was get the TVerse downloaded, spent all of yesterday evening/night reading up on bio's and decided this year to have a shot at HCG. I was wondering if at all possible would someone be able to make a HCG Spotlight Championship belt for me at all please? I would like to introduce a secondary title and a render for it would be ideal. Many thanks in advance anyone who is able to do this in the standard TVerse style.
  9. <p>I have The Franchise Shane Douglas and Dr. Death Steve Williams teaming in my WCW 1998 game. They are currently named The Masters Of The Mat, but I think there might be something better out there. So any help would be great.</p><p> </p><p> I also have Mr. Wonderful Mike Sanders managed by Paul Orndorf teaming with Sid Vicious as a bodyguard/hired gun type. They are currently going by Insanely Wonderful which I am happier with but would be open to suggestion.</p><p> </p><p> Thanks all.</p>
  10. <p>I'm sure it will have been asked but I wouldn't know what to really search for to return a valid result.. so:</p><p> </p><p> Is there I way I can run a B-Event (Not TV show) on my network without a popularity ring.</p><p> I want to run a B-Level tournament one off event. I also want to run my own B-Event for my development territory. 8 don't want it as a tv show though and want to show t on my network as an event.</p><p> </p><p> Thanks a lot.</p>
  11. Was just about to hop back on here and say I found it. Cheers for answering though mate.
  12. I have had a search through but was unable to find an answer. Does anyone know how to change the day of a TV show or if it is even possible in 2016? I inadvertently selected a Saturday and it now appears I am stuck with it but half my roster can't work that day. Cheers.
  13. Hey all, Could someone kindly advise how do I bring in the COTT champion Lopez in for a match with the belt? Many thanks.
  14. The turnover you have done here is nothing short of exceptional mate. Massive gratitude for this.
  15. Please forgive my ignorance with this. I just want to clarify (though I am sure it has already been answered/made clear)... If a worker changes company, does the background automatically change. So if someone leaves TCW for SWF, their background changes to an SWF logo? If a workers has more than one company, what is displayed in the character screen when scrolling through? Finally, what is displayed if they are unemployed? Many thanks for your tireless work on this mate.
  16. I think this is going to be my main game this time around. I jump between TVerse, CVerse, historical but never cemented a proper RtG Challenge game. This is the year. All I need to do is think of a character, a name, a style a background, and plan out his stats. Easy
  17. Can anyone tell me if the Photobucket tag list is still updated with these renders? I missed a few months and want to get up to date again, they are unreal.
  18. Very quick one: Will there be awards for presentation of diaries and also a monthly spotlight for a particular angle/match/moment etc? Not an award exactly but recognition? I only ask because there haven been these 'monthly spotlights' before that have lead me on to reading a full diary and it may encourage others to do the same. The presentation thing is just because I really appreciate those who go all out with theirs.
  19. “Welcome everyone to The Wastelands of Burnington, England, welcome to New World Wrestling. We have a stacked show for you tonight…” This is how we survive now, after “it” happened. Those of us left had limited options; farm, scout, hunt, salvage, or… do what we do, give the people some time each Saturday night to unwind, to forget about the world we live in. You may remember professional wrestling, or at least have been told about it by your elders. The spectacle and pageantry of sports entertainment, pitting athletic contests on the back drop of what was essentially a masculine soap opera. That was then. After the event, after people came back out of hiding, they tried to rebuild their lives. Years passed and as small villages and micro-towns appeared again, working for a living just wasn’t enough. There needed to be a medium to unwind and I remember as a child, being told about those larger than life characters performing in front of thousands of people. As the stories got passed down through time, as they become folklore and the folklore became legend, the details started getting fuzzy and now, people believe this shit is real again. Who am I to tell them any different? This is the one thing they have to look forward to, the one thing that pulls them away from their piss-poor existences. I can’t really blame them for getting engulfed and for it to be so easy to suspend disbelief. It’s an easy escape. This is New World Wrestling, and we are home to the toughest four corners of The Wasteland. OOC: This isn't exactly exactly a hype in the sense that the diary is coming out very soon. More though that I am working on it in terms of the mod and the diary and it might take a little while (it isn't a big mod). But was thinking of posting the diary when I start the game and was just looking for general feedback to see if it's worth posting or keeping to myself when it gets sorted :-)
  20. Just a little slight description error. Diesel Train is referred to as Robinson in the description but his name is Keith Neilson.
  21. <p>Quick question for the experienced diary writers and those who have advice, what are some helpful tips to make the process less long-winded technically?</p><p> </p><p> I don't mean from a creative stand point but rather from a practicality point of view.</p><p> </p><p> Things I have heard so far:</p><p> </p><ul><li>Don't include pictures<br /></li><li>If you do have pictures, keep a word document of all the <span></span> tags for quick reference<br /></li><li>Set the formatting <strong>, </strong><strong><em> tags in your draft (e.g. in Word) so you can just copy/past the whole thing over to your post</em></strong><br /></li></ul><p></p><p><strong><em> </em></strong></p><p><strong><em> Are there any others people can thin of or already do? You see some writers be able to format their posts and they are huge, is this just a case of gritting your teeth and accepting it will take an age? Does this not prevent you from posting as it isn't even part of the creative process, just getting it onto the board?</em></strong></p><p><strong><em> </em></strong></p><p><strong><em> Any input from people's past experiences or added tips would be greatly encouraged!</em></strong></p><p><strong><em> </em></strong></p><p><strong><em> Cheers all</em></strong></p><p><strong><em> </em></strong><img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/biggrin.png.929299b4c121f473b0026f3d6e74d189.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p>
  22. <p>I have been toying with the idea of a new diary but really struggling to get the momentum and "umph" to go ahead and start it.</p><p> </p><p> Saving up for a wedding and a house leaves me with some free time at home on an evening so I would love to get back into writing some stuff up but I am really drawing a blank on what to do and where to get the motivation.</p><p> </p><p> Does anybody else start a TEW game but as soon as they write stuff up, it slows the game down massively and the writing starts to feel like a chore to the game itself? I have started about 4 games in the past month with some ideas and first show write ups and each of them have fallen by the wayside because I don't fancy writing up after the second show.</p><p> </p><p> I do enjoy writing so it has left me a bit baffled as to why I can't find the motivation to continue with doing a diary after the first show!</p><p> </p><p> Anyone else experience this or have any tips/advice to overcome it?</p><p> </p><p> I loved a local Thunderverse game I started about a year ago based on characters from WWF late 80's-early 90's but alas it suffered a similar fate but I want to be able to commit to a new idea I have, so how do you chaps do it?</p>
  23. <p>It means Adam is going to get another $34.99 from me. I have been teetering since WMMA 4 was released (even started my own thread about it and asked a couple of questions), I think what I was waiting for was an "It's exceptional, get it" sort of response and this has done it.</p><p> </p><p> I can guarantee that this wont just send me over the line either, cheers Payne, hopefully Mr. R will be giving you some commission <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/biggrin.png.929299b4c121f473b0026f3d6e74d189.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> Ryland, Ryland, sign him up.</p>
  24. I can see this quickly becoming my favourite mod (and there are some tremendous mods out there!). I have been in a little TEW funk the last few weeks and this is definitely going to get me right out of it. Excellent mate, very well done and thank you!
