  1. You could also use some of the workers who are already established on your roster to populate your cruiserweight division. I am trying to think of who you could use that was on the roster back then.

Looking at the data (I have the 2016 version of the mod, not sure why I never got the 2020 version) I guess the first question is, what do you want to consider cruiserweight?

I tend to go middleweight and under. If you follow that way you have Tom Zenk, Tito Santana (Who would make a killer first champ), Hot Rod (Though I would not put him there), Ricky Steamboat (Another great first champ), both of the Killer Bees, if you want to break up the Bulldogs then Dynamite would be a great first champion, Koko B. Ware, Lanny Poffo, both Rougeau's.

Now granted I am going off TEW16 data and things might have changed, but if you take any of the above names and put them into the division with some quality free agents, I think you could build a pretty good division.

Edited to add: Because I edited my post, I thought I would add that the women Archeo below suggests you hire are really good choices. In fact, a lot of them worked for the WWF around that time or a little later as well. Therefore, if you want to be somewhat historically accurate in your hirings people like Judy Maritn, Rockin' Robin, Leilani Kai, Aja Kong (I think I remember her being there, but I could be wrong.) and the most obvious scary Sherri, were all part of the roster at one time.

  2. So I have run into an issue regarding the Meadowlands Arena. Whether it is Brendan Byrne Arena, Continental Airlines Arena, or Izod Center it still seems to be called the Meadowlands Arena. So what my question is, what would you guys prefer. I really don't have a strong opinion one way or another. I went back and looked at old WWF tapes from the 80s and they called it the "ByrneMeadowlands Arena" so I really am open to suggestions.

There is a Jimmy Hoffa joke in there, but I am not going to be the one to tell it. I always called it the Meadowlands personally, but I think Meadowlands Arena would be the best name.

NEW The War To End All Wars 2021

    Location: Montpelier, Vermont

    Attendance: 66

    Show Rating: 45

[After being shown the opening video package, we are taken down to the ring where NEW Owner Buddy Garner is standing in the center of the ring holding two titles. Buddy begins to address the crowd, as the crowd’s excitement for the start of the show dies down.]

    XXzNvLO.jpg?1

Buddy Garner: Ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls...right now I am, as you can see, holding two titles. These titles are the NEW Tag Team Championships.

Now we ain’t got no tag team champions here in NEW and that is about to change. Starting next month and for the next three shows, we’re going to have a little something called an Elimination Chase.

Now for those curious as to what an Elimination Chase is, well it’s simple. Next month four tag teams will take part in a multi-team match. The first team to be pinned in that match will be eliminated from the Elimination Chase while the other three teams will meet the next month at our March show.

The team that gets pinned at our March show will be eliminated from the Elimination Chase and that will leave two teams to compete at our first-year anniversary show in April. The team that wins at our anniversary show in April will then win the Elimination Chase and they will also become the first-ever NEW Tag Team Champions.

The four teams that will be competing in the Chase are No Remorse, The LA Stars, High Octane, and The Jet Set which will be Rocco Renoir and Jack Pryde.

Now I am not gonna waste anymore of your time, let’s get this show started!

[The fans cheer as Buddy leaves the ring and we head over to the announcer’s desk where Rob and Frank talk briefly about the Elimination Chase before then talk about the matches on the card tonight. We then head over to the ring for the first match of the night.]

Onslaught & Paulie Pelton vs. Brutality Incorporated with Carl Batch

    Match:

    • On commentary Frank talks about how livid Carl and the Brutality boys are over being left out of the Elimination Chase match. Frank then adds, “I absolutely would not want to be poor Paulie or Onslaught tonight.”

    • Deathwish and Sasquatch took all of their anger out on Paulie as they quickly isolated him in their corner.

    • When Sasquatch had enough of “playing with” Paulie, he picked Paulie up and tossed Paulie into his (Paulie’s) corner.

    • Onslaught tagged into the match and it started to look like Sasquatch had made a mistake as Onslaught used his rapid-fire offense to keep the big man on his toes.

    • It is at this point that SJW came down to the ring and began cheering Onslaught on.

    • Onslaught stupidly turns his attention towards SJW, which was a fatal mistake on Onslaught’s part.

    • Mainly because Sasquatch grabbed Onslaught from behind, spun him around, and shot Onslaught into the ropes.

    • Sasquatch then nailed Onslaught with a Running Big Boot and three seconds later Brutality Inc. picked up another victory.

    Winners: Brutality Incorporated

    Time: 6:51

    Match Rating: 35

[We are now taken to the backstage interview area where NEW’s backstage correspondent Tabitha Mara is standing by with Conner Threepwood.]

    Q30rDF9.jpg?1

Tabitha: Conner tonight you get another crack at NEW Champion Raphael. What are your thoughts about Raphael saying you shouldn’t get another match?

    tKgR2oc.jpg?1

Conner Threepwood: Honestly Tabitha that is not up to either me or Raphael on if I should or should not get a rematch. The NEW powers that be decided that I haven’t gotten my fair shake in my matches with Raphael and therefore I am going to be getting another opportunity to fight him for the title.

I hope that tonight Raphael fights within the parameters of the rules and then there will be no need for another rematch. If I beat him I am the new champion, if he beats me without trying to break or exploit any rules then he is the better man. It really is as simple as that.

    Q30rDF9.jpg?1

Tabitha: Do you have anything else you would like to say directly to Conner about your match with him tonight?

    tKgR2oc.jpg?1

Conner Threepwood: Um...yeah...look Raph, I know you are a great wrestler. I have been in that ring with you so many times and I am fully aware of what you are capable of. However, you choose to break or exploit the rules each and every time. So much like last month, I am going to implore you to give me and the fans the match they and I deserve.

Show us just why you are the best wrestler here in NEW. Prove you are not a coward like many people think you are. Tonight just give me an honest, clean fight in the ring. If you do that and you beat me fair and square, I will shake your hand in the center of the ring and I will gladly tell anyone who will listen that you are the better man.

    That’s all I can ask for…

[Conner walks off camera as Tabitha turns her attention back to the camera and says...]

    Q30rDF9.jpg?1

    Tabitha: Back to your Rob.

    Devil Dog vs. Reggie Bishop

    • In the end, Devil Dog picked up the victory after causing Reggie to tap-out the Rear Naked Choke.

    Winner: Devil Dog

[Per the graphic on the screen we are now being shown footage that was shot earlier in the day. In said footage we see Manny Alvarez dressed in his street clothes carrying his gym bag. Manny is walking towards the front door of the arena.

He (Manny) soon stops dead in his tracks as he notices SJW is standing near the arena’s entrance hugging Mister Howie Bear and wearing a T-Rex onesie. A dumbfounded Manny looks SJW up and down before saying...]

    uEIVjiq.jpg?1

Manny Alvarez: What the hell are you wearing holmes?

    MSvEa5n.jpg?1

SJW: I am proudly wearing my T-Rex onesie to show my excitement in being your tag team partner tonight.

    uEIVjiq.jpg?1

    Manny Alvarez: Okay…

    MSvEa5n.jpg?1

SJW: Yes, you see I am beyond thrilled to finally have a POC tag team partner. A proud Latinx man to who I can show I am an ally to. Tonight is our celebration of diversity and I will help to lift your voice tonight and prove to not only you, not only the fascists fans, but also Onslaught that I am a true champion of the marginalized people.

    uEIVjiq.jpg?1

Manny Alvarez: Latinx what the hell is that?

Nevermind man...I don’t think I want to know.

Anyway, my dude...you’re saying a bunch of words that don’t really have any meaning but whatever holmes. You do you and I’ll do me.

    MSvEa5n.jpg?1

SJW: Oh I will do me...I will proudly do me. Tonight Señor Alvarez you and I will stand on the right side of history. We will be victorious and show the world just what we can do as a united front.

    uEIVjiq.jpg?1

Manny Alvarez: Okay bro...that’s cool and all. I just want to beat those two masked fools…

    MSvEa5n.jpg?1

SJW: Why because they are culturally appropriating your proud Mexican culture?

    uEIVjiq.jpg?1

Manny Alvarez: Nah fool, I wanna beat em cuz I wanna get paid the winner’s purse. That’s all this match is to me, just another paycheck. I don’t care if the two dudes come out buck ass naked, I’ll still gladly kick their naked asses. I just want to hit the pay window, brother. So you better bring it tonight holmes.

    MSvEa5n.jpg?1

SJW: Oh I certainly will...for tonight we will stand on the right side of history!

    uEIVjiq.jpg?1

Manny Alvarez: Sure okay...just ah...do me a favor, my dude. Stay away from me until our match...I don’t wanna hang around with your weird-ass all night.

[Manny pats SJW on the shoulder and heads into the arena as SJW stares at the ground heartbroken by yet another POC.]

    MSvEa5n.jpg?1

SJW: Oh...um...okay well...I guess I’ll see you later then.

The LA Stars vs. Manny Alvarez & SJW

    Match:

    • Right out of the gate it was clear that Manny wanted nothing to do with being SJW’s partner.

    • Manny allowed SJW to start the match out and SJW proceeded to get his butt kicked.

    • Sure this was an odd match due to the fact that the heel was getting sympathy in it, but that’s the way it went down.

    • Manny only allowed himself to get tagged into the match after SJW managed to take LA Star #2 down onto the mat.

    • Manny’s time in the match was short-lived however as LA Star #2 managed to tag LA Star #1 into the match.

    • With a fresh opponent now in the ring with him, Manny decided to tag SJW back into the match.

    • The LA Stars eventually picked up the victory after LA Star #1 dropped SJW with a Star Destroyer.

    Winners: The LA Stars

    Time: 7:47

    Match Rating: 39

[We now head to the back, more specifically Buddy’s “office” (Which is a conference room). Buddy is sitting down writing something on his laptop when Carl Batch and Raphael enter the office. Buddy looks up at the two men and smiles.]

    XXzNvLO.jpg?1

Buddy Garner: Gentlemen, so glad ya both could join me.

    0p54iew.jpg?1

Carl Batch: Look here man, tell me why you want us here.

    XXzNvLO.jpg?1

Buddy Garner: Carl...I’m your boss. If you want to remain employed in my company, I suggest you change your tone when addressing me. I’m no longer one of the boys…

    0p54iew.jpg?1

Carl Batch: Yeah you right mister Garner.

    XXzNvLO.jpg?1

Buddy Garner: Good. I am glad you see things my way. No, let’s get down to business, shall we?

A few months ago you Raphael paid Carl here some money to have Carl’s boys take Conner out of the NEW Championship Tournament…

[Raphael seems shocked by this accusation.]

    9ODyyTw.jpg?1

Raphael: I did nothing of the sort! I…

    XXzNvLO.jpg?1

Buddy Garner: You what? You can pee on my leg and tell me it’s raining all you want son. But that don’t make it true.

The fact of the matter is, we’ve got video footage of you paying Carl for his services. Now here’s the thing...that little attack you paid for screwed up my title tournament. Which is something I am still not very happy about.

So I have asked the two of you to join me in my office today because I would like to talk to you about your punishment.

    0p54iew.jpg?1

Carl Batch: Whoa boss man, what do you mean by our punishment?

    9ODyyTw.jpg?1

Raphael: Yeah...what the hell? You can’t punish me, I’m the NEW Champion! The Golden Hair God!

    XXzNvLO.jpg?1

Buddy Garner: Oh I absolutely can punish the two of you. In fact, had I punished you right away I would have stripped you of your championship and Carl I would’ve taken away your manager’s license.

But I allowed cooler heads to prevail and I talked over what you and Carl’s punishment should be with the other members of the front office. In the end, we came up with what I think is a reasonable punishment for the two of you.

Which is...I’m fining you both ten thousand dollars in USD…

[Raphael looks like he is about to faint after hearing how much the fine is.]

    9ODyyTw.jpg?1

Raphael: T...ten thousand dollars? I don’t have access to that kind of cash right now…

    [Buddy smiles and says...]

    XXzNvLO.jpg?1

Buddy Garner: Don’t worry pal, I’ll take a check, a debit, or credit card. Just no bitcoin...my son tried to explain that to me and I still don't get it.

But yeah cash, check, Pay Pal, debit, or credit card you pick your poison, I ain’t picky and I know you are paid enough...so it shouldn’t be that big of a deal to you.

[Carl Batch then slaps a wad of money onto the table as he chomps on the unlit cigar in his mouth.]

    0p54iew.jpg?1

Carl Batch: Ten thousand dollars is pocket change to me man. I can make that all back in a day.

    XXzNvLO.jpg?1

Buddy Garner: Good to know...maybe you can spot the champ some money.

    0p54iew.jpg?1

Carl Batch: Nah boss man, he and I have ended our transaction...and I ain’t no bank. I don’t hand out loans.

    XXzNvLO.jpg?1

Buddy Garner: So what’s it going to be champ? Cash, credit, debit, check, money order? Just tell me and I’ll accept it.

Unless you don’t have that kind of money and you exaggerate your lifestyle. I mean you are always talking about driving the best cars and all of that stuff. If you’re tight on cash I could always dock your pay…

    9ODyyTw.jpg?1

Raphael: No, no...I have the money...I just don’t have access to it right now. You’ll get your money but I do think this might have been the most unfair thing you’ve ever done to me.

I am your champion damn it! I am the face of your company...I should not be fined for something I had no part in…

    XXzNvLO.jpg?1

Buddy Garner: That you are...oh before you go I just wanted to inform you that your gal pal Lucinda is banned from ringside tonight in your match against Conner…

    9ODyyTw.jpg?1

    Raphael: What? Why?

    XXzNvLO.jpg?1

Buddy Garner: Plain and simple. Last month she interfered in your match versus Conner.

This caused a ton of backlash from our fans. That is something I simply can’t have...I’m in the business of customer service and if my customers are not happy with what is happening, then they might take their business elsewhere.

That in turn messes up my bottom line. So I’ve made a decision, tonight your match with Conner is going to be on the up and up. Lucinda is banned from ringside and you will not have any sort of championship advantage tonight.

That means you can’t get yourself counted out or intentionally disqualified.

    9ODyyTw.jpg?1

Raphael: This is...I am at a loss for words right now! I can’t believe you would pull something like this on me...you are going to hear from my lawyers about this. Hell, I just might boycott my match tonight.

Then what will you do if you have no main event?

    XXzNvLO.jpg?1

Buddy Garner: I’ll strip you of the NEW Championship and award the title to Conner…

[An angry Raphael stomps his foot on the ground and says...]

    9ODyyTw.jpg?1

Raphael: That’s not fair! You can’t do this to me!

    XXzNvLO.jpg?1

Buddy Garner: Stop ya moaning, tell your gal pal to stay in the locker room tonight and get me the money.

    9ODyyTw.jpg?1

    Raphael: Fine!

[Raphael storms out of the office and we are taken to SJW’s safe space.]

[sJW is in his safe space wearing his T-Rex onesie and coloring in an adult coloring book. Mister Howie Bear is sitting on the couch next to SJW. A clearly annoyed Onslaught walks into the room and puts his finger up to his lips.]

    AUbLzC1.jpg?1

Onslaught: Look man I am here to ask you something. What is it that you want from me dude? And please don’t say you want to amplify my voice or uplift my voice or any of that other crap.

Just tell me what it is that you want from me…

    MSvEa5n.jpg?1

SJW: I want what I have always wanted from you...I want to be your ally…

    AUbLzC1.jpg?1

Onslaught: But what does that even mean? I don’t understand what you want when you say you want to be my ally.

Is it like an ally on Big Brother or Survivor? Do we vote together or something? Like dude be clear…

    MSvEa5n.jpg?1

SJW: I want to show you that I have your back and I want you to have my back. I have to work on my allyship but together I think we can show everyone that if we unite nobody can beat us. Because we are on the right side of history.

    AUbLzC1.jpg?1

Onslaught: Dude it sounds like you want to be my tag team partner…

    MSvEa5n.jpg?1

SJW: Yes! I would love to be your tag team partner. I would consider it an honor to tag with a stunning and brave Latinx, gay, POC!

[Onslaught rolls his eyes and tries his best not to laugh at the absurdity that is SJW.]

    AUbLzC1.jpg?1

Onslaught: I’ll tell you what man. Let me think this over...give me a month...I’ll give you an answer on our next show.

[SJW’s eyes light up and a creepy smile emerges on his face.]

    MSvEa5n.jpg?1

SJW: Yes! That’s all I could ever ask you...just the mere fact that you would even think of me as a potential tag team partner is so awesome!

    AUbLzC1.jpg?1

Onslaught: Yeah well I am not promising anything but I will get back to you next month with my decision.

[Onslaught leaves the safe space and SJW continues to color in his coloring book with a big grin on his face.]

Langston “Lion Heart” Franklin with Jerry Martin vs. Remmy Honeyman with Cip Conduit

    Match:

    • The bell rings and the fans are treated to a very good back and forth match for the first few minutes of the contest.

    • Neither man is able to assert his dominance over his opponent.

    • A frustrated Remmy rolls out of the ring to get advice from his tag team partner Cip.

    • It is at this point Cip is heard saying to Remmy, “Bring that filthy Canadian near the ropes, I’ll teach him not to mess with a real man’s man.”

    • Remmy returns to the ring and does as he was instructed, he fires Langston into the ring ropes and it is at this point that Cip trips Langston up.

    • This causes Jerry to go after Cip and the two men begin brawling at ringside.

    • Referee David Poker has to divide his attention between the actual match and the brawl that is going on outside of the ring so that the brawl does not interfere with the match.

    • It is because of this divided attention that David missed Remmy hitting Langston with a foreign object.

    • Remmy then nails the downed Langston with a Flying Legdrop and three seconds later Remmy picks up the victory.

    Winner: Remmy Honeyman

    Time: 14:41

    Match Rating: 49

[After the match is done and Cip, Remmy, Jerry, and Langston continue to fight at ringside. The four brawl in the aisle way that leads to the ring. The brawl is soon broken up by a myriad of NEW backstage officials, for such a small promotion one has to wonder how they can afford all of these people...but I digress.

The two teams are separated as the fans boo and start chanting, “Let them fight!” But the officials do a very good job of stopping that from happening and the show moves on to the next segment.]

[We now see a pre-recorded promo from BP SWOLL talking about his match with Tavon Blake Jr. tonight.]

    hygYxmu.jpg?1

BP SWOLL: Tavon Blake Junior...the heavy-hitter of The Jet Set. Tonight you and I are going to meet for the first time in solo competition. The best part is, you ain’t got no backup. Your boys are up in Aspen skiing, while you’re here grinding.

Me, I don’t need no help from Nate or Mike to kick your ass. Tavon the time for talking is done, because unlike you and your boys I am not a keyboard warrior. I don’t spend all day on social media talking trash and insulting folks.

Nah son, I ain’t weak like that. I do my talking in the ring son and tonight you are about to find out just how loud I can be. Tavon tonight you’re gonna feel the Pounce and that’s that son.

    hygYxmu.jpg?1ptQXbKF.jpg5gA1ObF.jpg?1

BP SWOLL vs. Tavon Blake Jr.

    Match:

    • This was a great match that had the fans going nuts.

    • The crowd was fully behind BP, they loved everything he did.

    • This was a very evenly fought match despite the size difference between the two men.

    • On commentary Honest Frank said, “Geez anyone that has seen Tavon in person knows he is a big dude, he’s six foot two and weighs two hundred and sixty-three pounds. But next to BP he looks like a dwarf.”

    • Tavon got the crowd hot when he finally took over control of the action. He kept on working on BP’s tree trunk-like left leg.

    • The fans were clearly not happy over this turn of events and the smug Tavon took this opportunity to taunt those in attendance by yelling out, “I am an elite athlete! Do you honestly think this fat slob could beat me?”

    • This caused nearly the entire crowd to start chanting BP in near unison.

    • New life seemed to be infused into BP by the crowd as he got up and started fighting back.

    • It seemed that nothing Tavon did could phase the big man from California.

[We now head to the dressing room of the NEW Champion Raphael. Inside the dressing room sits the NEW Champion Raphael and his girlfriend/manager Lucinda. Both of them are clearly upset over Lucinda being banned from ringside during tonight’s main event.]

    9ODyyTw.jpg?1

Raphael: This is bullcrap and you know it, Lucinda! Not only am I out ten thousand dollars but now I have to deal with the fact that you are banned from ringside tonight!

What am I going to do for moral support?

Conner has all of the cretins in the audience cheering for him...what do I have? I only have you…

Buddy is creating a hostile work environment for me tonight and it is complete and utter bull…

    X2pReb2.jpg?1

Lucinda Larouche: Well tiger there’s not much we can really do about it. I mean what’s done is done…

I agree with you, it is complete bull.

    But you know what?

You are the best damn wrestler on the roster...Conner isn’t even in your class. You might be forced to work in a hostile work environment tonight and you might not have me there for moral support. But the cream always rises to the top and that is exactly what you are, you are the driving force on this roster. There is nobody better than you.

So tonight you are going to go out there and do what you do best...and that is beat Conner.

[Raphael has a huge, admiring, smile on his face.]

    9ODyyTw.jpg?1

Raphael:My god you are turning me on right now...and you’re absolutely right. I am the best damn wrestler on this roster. This title is proof positive of that.

This isn’t me being conceited, this is me just telling the truth. You see Lucinda this is why I love you so much...you helped remind me that I am the Golden Hair God! Tonight I am going to prove that to Conner and the unwashed masses that populate our fan base.

You know Lu, I don’t say this often but I actually feel bad for Conner. After all, he’s the reason why I am down ten thousand dollars and he’s the reason why you are not going to be in my corner tonight. All of my pent-up rage will be taken out on him tonight. Because if you mess with a god, you best expect to be driven down to hell.

    X2pReb2.jpg?1

Lucinda Larouche: Not going to lie, babe, I am really turned on right now.

The Following Match is for the NEW Championship:

    tKgR2oc.jpg?1ptQXbKF.jpg9ODyyTw.jpg?1

    Conner Threepwood vs. Raphael ©

    Match:

The bell rings and Raphael extends his hand towards Conner.

The Golden Hair God can be heard saying, “I heard you want a clean fight, well I will give you one. As a sign of good faith, I want you to shake my hand.”

Conner looks out into the crowd to see what the fans think he should do. The vast majority of the fans tell Conner not to shake Raphael’s hand.

Conner being Conner decides to not listen to the fans and does go in to shake Raphael’s hand.

Which of course was a mistake as Conner was met with a quick kick to the stomach.

Raphael then controlled the action during the early minutes of the match.

But no matter how much pain Raphael inflicted on Conner, he could not keep The Hick from French Lick down.

Conner kicked out of every pin attempt and kept on fighting back. This showed the fans Conner’s true fighting spirit and his never-give-up ethos.

The fans, for the most part, were clearly behind Conner and they wanted to see him finally beat Raphael for the title. The crowd roared every time Conner would manage to kick out of a pinfall or find the bottom rope for a rope break.

Raphael was becoming more and more frustrated over the fact that he could not put the challenger down no matter how much he tried to do so.

It is at this point that the frustrated Raphael left the ring and grabbed the NEW Championship from the timekeeper’s table.

Raphael began heading to the back, when Referee Xander Summer reminded him that if Raphael gets himself intentionally counted out he will lose his title.

Raphael cried out, “That’s not fair!” The champion then stomped back into the ring but by this point, Conner had had enough of a rest that he was rejuvenated and ready to go on the offensive.

That was indeed what Conner did, he went on the offensive and he took it to the champion.

Conner got in a couple of near falls which caused the crowd to groan in near unison when Raphael would kick out.

Unlike Raphael, Conner did not get frustrated over his inability to keep the champion down for three seconds.

Therefore, Conner kept on plugging away trying everything he could to become the next NEW Champion.

It looked like Conner’s never-give-up drive would pay off as he locked Raphael into the Stretch Plum.

Raphael was in clear pain and looked like he was on the verge of giving up when Sasquatch McGraw entered the ring and began attacking Conner.

Referee Xander Summer had no choice but to award Conner the victory via disqualification.

However, even though Conner won by disqualification, the belt did not change hands because Raphael did not get himself intentionally disqualified.

The fans were not happy with this outcome whatsoever.

The winner of the match by way of disqualification: Conner Threepwood

Raphael still retains his championship because he did not intentionally get himself disqualified.

    Time: 21:56

    Match Rating: 46

[After the match is done Sasquatch and Raphael are joined by Deathwish and Carl Batch in the attack on Conner. Carl directs traffic as Brutality Inc. and Raphael destroy Conner. Raphael grabs a microphone and yells directly into Conner’s face, as Deathwish and Sasquatch hold Conner.]

    9ODyyTw.jpg?1

Raphael: How’s your little revenge tour going for you now Conner?

If you and Buddy think fining us ten thousand dollars each was going to make us not want to continue to attack you...well pal you are stupid as the day is long.

[Raphael and the members of Brutality Inc. continue to punish Conner with a vicious beatdown. Which causes Conner to start bleeding from the forehead. While this is going on, Rob wonders on commentary if there is anyone in the locker room that will come to the aid of Conner.

His question is soon answered as Devil Dog comes running down the ring swinging a two-by-four. The members of Brutality Inc. and Raphael scatter as none of them want to get hit by the two by four. The four men then retreat to the back.

Once Devil Dog is sure they are gone, he rushes over to Conner to check on Conner’s condition. The show goes off the air as the medics run down to the ring to render aid to Conner.]

    Post-Show Notes:

    1. I honestly do not have much to say about this show. I wrote it months ago and never posted it. I figured, "It is completely done, might as well post it." So I did.

I stopped posting because my real life has been rough for the past few months (Well if I am being honest the past few years, but the past few months have been pretty bad). That is why this show is getting posted now as it was the last one I had fully written. The next show is about sixty percent written.

Therefore, there is a pretty good chance that will see the light of day as well. After that, I am not sure.

I just wanted to shed some light on why this show popped up out of the blue. I would like to thank everyone who takes the time to read it.

  4. <p>1. <strong>Ivan Koloff</strong> vs. Willie Farkas</p><p>

    2.<strong> Dick Brower</strong> vs. Jack Vansky</p><p>

    3. Miguel Feliciano vs. <strong>George Steele</strong></p><p>

    4. WWWF International Tag Team Championship: <strong>Tony Marino & Victor Rivera ©</strong> vs. The Sicilians</p><p> </p><p>

I did not realize that Capt. Lou was still wrestling in the 1970's. I thought he had retired in the mid-1960's. I am not sure why I thought that.</p><p> </p><p>

    5.<strong> Prof. Toru Tanaka</strong> vs. Mario Milano</p><p>

    6. <strong>WWWF World Heavyweight Champion Bruno Sammartino & Gorilla Monsoon</strong> vs. Ernie Ladd & Waldo Von Erich</p>

  5. I am always down for an old WWWF diary.

@Levinux I am not entirely sure, but I do believe someone did a WWWF diary, based in 1970 in TEW16. I could be wrong though.

    1. Johnny Rodz vs. Pete Sanchez

    2. Mario Milano vs. Eric The Red

I have never heard of Mario and I have heard of Eric the Red so I am just going by who I know.

    3. Karl Kovacs vs. WWWF United States Heavyweight Champion Bobo Brazil in a non-title bout

Bobo was one of my father's favorite wrestlers. I am on the fence on this one. With it being a non-title match I could see Bobo losing to set up the rematch. That being said I am going to go with Bobo picking up the win here.

    4. WWWF World Champion Bruno Sammartino vs. Willie Farkas in a non-title bout

    5. Prof. Toru Tanaka vs. Gene DuBois

    6. Gorilla Monsoon & Victor Rivera vs. Killer Kowalski & Waldo Von Erich

This is the first match on the entire card where I have heard of every wrestler. Do you send the fans home happy and let the faces win? Or do the heels do something to pick up the win...

  6. Just a brief update. I had a bit of a scare Friday night and ended up spending some time in the hospital this weekend. With follow up appointments and all of that I'm going to take this week off of posting any updates. Death Before Dishonor should be posted sometime next week

    Hope everything is okay.

  8. If I remember right, and I could totally be talking out of my ass here. I recall an article that came out years ago talking about how Vin considers the Pitch Black series to be his baby. They were the ones he was most proud of (Which I would agree with that, I really liked the Riddick movies. Though the best movie he was in was Saving Private Ryan but that was not "his" movie.).

Now for the part that I don't know if this is true or not, but I thought I read it years ago. I am pretty sure I read that the only reason why he returned to the F&F franchise was if The Chronicles of Riddick was made. Universal did distribute both films but nothing I have read since seems to jive with what I just wrote. That is I am not sure if what I said is true or not.

What is my point? I don't know. Possibly I was wondering if anyone had heard the same thing I had about him not wanting to do F&F sequels unless Riddick got funded.

  9. Not a dumb question at all, it took me a bit to figure it out. What you need to do is click on the person that you want to fire. On the worker's main screen you will see their popularity right on either side of the word popularity are two yellow arrows. Click either arrow and it will bring you to the worker's contract details and there you can release them.
  10. In other mafia related news, I will be representing GDS in the Mafia Championships next week if you are interested in cheering me on from the sidelines. Who would have thought I would be representing GDS at the Mafia Championships fifteen years ago when I started playing?

So Don Destiny, did you do us proud?

  11. One thing I noted that was a huge find was that you basically have to hire local. Travel costs eats up your money like crazy, but if you hire local talent, they don't ask for travel fees.

I never play 0/0/0/0 games but I often do play as promotions with low level of popularity and what steev just said above is the best advice you can get when playing as a smaller company. If you are playing in the United States try to set your company up in an area where you can get no travel costs from two areas. I often set up in New England and workers from the Tri-State never ask for travel fees. So I have access to a pretty large pool of talent right at the start of my promotion.

  12. Has any promotion at any point in history had a tag division as good as AEW's?

Not even trying to be an AEW fanboy, but holy moly, their tag ranks are friggin stacked!

Hopefully the promo Santana and Ortiz cut on Elevation is an indicator that they're on their way to the top finally. In my opinion they are the best team in the world bar none and have been for a few years. Even though I adore the Inner Circle, it's kind of put Santana and Ortiz on the backburner in the tag division.

Just look at any year the NWA ran the Crockett Cup in the 80's and I think you would get your answer. Or look at the WWF tag teams in the 80's. Heck I would even say 1990's WCW with Doom, The Steiners, Road Warriors, Midnight Express, SST could compete with any tag division. Obviously it is all subjective but I do think you are looking through your fan boy glasses if you think that AEW's tag team roster could compete with any of the above mentioned tag divisions.

  13. <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="michgcs" data-cite="michgcs" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="28353" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>Have you watched Spider-Man : Far From Home? There's a scene there that <em>kinda</em> speaks to what you're talking about. I'm like half(?) a generation younger than you and while I'm <em>familiar</em> with the names of the classics, I don't always necessarily put two and two together. <img alt=":o" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/redface.png.900245280682ef18c5d82399a93c5827.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /> So MAYBE younger generations are exposed to older music, but not necessarily know who sang it?</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> If that was the second one then no I did not see it. I despise how Tom Holland plays the character, he annoys the crap out of me. Not as much as the dude who plays the Flash in the Justice League movie but it is pretty close. Honestly, I was not a fan of Andrew Garfield as Spider-Man either. I felt he was very bland. The only one I liked in the role was Tobey Maguire. </p><p> </p><p> As to your point though I think you could be right. When I was younger I did not know who sang what when it came to the Four Tops and the Temptations. When I heard a song from them I knew it was one of the two groups but I never knew which one it was.</p><p> </p><p> Or when I used to work at a supermarket they used to play this song called 99 over and over again. I had no idea it was Toto who sang the song because it was so different from anything I had heard from them before (Like Africa, Hold the Line, and Rosanna). Point being, I tend to agree with your point. </p><p> </p><p> It is tough when certain groups sound similar. Like the song A World Without Love. It sounds like an early Beatles song and it was in fact written by Paul McCartney. But the song was sung by a duo called Peter and Gordon. For years I thought for sure that was either George or Paul singing that song but I was wrong.</p>
  14. ROH World Championship Elimination Scramble Match:

Bryan Danielson © vs Jimmy Rave vs Alex Shelley vs Low Ki vs Jay Lethal vs AJ Styles

    ROH Pure Championship Match:

Nigel McGuinness © vs Jimmy Yang

  15. Yup, thread got deleted. It's not really an appropriate thread for any internet forum, especially a family friendly one like GDS. Not really much else to add outside of this post.

I understand GDS not wanting that on their site. That is perfectly reasonable and the explanation is perfectly reasonable.

However, to say that it is not an appropriate topic for a thread on any internet forum seems a little strange to me. People commenting on how other people look is a very normal thing. Both men and women do it and there is nothing wrong with it.

I find it funny that that thread was eliminated for being offensive but there are still plenty of other threads that are still on here that are far more offensive than that one. Heck, I was just looking at a thread last night where the op was talking about Kevin Sullivan killing Woman. Granted that thread is locked but it is still there for anyone to read. Also, there are like five or six threads called Babe League (Or something along those lines) that are just like the Hot or Not thread and they are still here for anyone to look at.

  16. I am not sure, I just spent...a long time...looking for it and I could not find it. This is odd because I thought it had a good amount of posts in it.

I did go down a rabbit hole looking at old threads. Reading old arguments, seeing posts from people who have not posted here in years. It was interesting doing that and it always makes me wonder what happened to some of the people who used to post on here regularly.

Edited to add, I think the thread might have just been deleted because it is nowhere to be found.

  17. But Pokemon Snap had me contemplate a Switch. I loved the first one on N64. I remember pacing myself as to not 100% the game on one day, as it was a little short on content. Had a lot of fun though, and from the look of it, that's not going to be different here.

Wait a second, you cracked on me for playing a "kids game" in Among Us and you still play Pokemon games? People in glass houses and all of that...:p

I got the XBOX Live (I think that is what it is called, too lazy to look it up.) at a dollar for three months. I have to say I am a little disappointed in what I got. They have all of these free games and I either own most of them (There is a good amount of 360 games on there which I own, I only own eleven games for the XBOX One), not interested in them (any first-person shooter I avoid like the plague) or once I do download and play them the game is just not good.

I will say I have been somewhat enjoying Night Call. It is part Noir and part Taxicab Confessions. It is not a great game by any means but it is entertaining enough.

  18. <p>I caught the last half hour of the show, because there was nothing else on. I noticed something interesting in the Miro interview. Either Tony Schiavone was feeding Miro lines or Miro's promo was scripted and Tony was reading an off-camera version of it in order to get his cue on what to do. </p><p> </p><p>

If you watch Tony during that interview he is mouthing everything Miro is saying in the promo. It was so odd.</p>

  19. Tag Team Opening Round Match #1 - Debbie Rose & Kate Lilly vs Candy Floss & Olivia Diamond
