1. BTW is it just me or is the time that Ed Ferrera quit, june 30, somewhat around the same time as the show quality going down/unstable again. post Slammiversary? Might just be a coincidence but still.

Could be in a semi joke reply to Nash that he said on Impact he would quit if Ed came in a long while back and his twitter comments.

Or being vague on purpose. But that kinda rings true for anything on wrestling lolz.

Yes they are a rumour site and obviously pro TNA biased but they have some nice stuff. Zorro they mentioned already a couple of months back or so.

 9.
Yes but Shane is even worse, at least the last time I saw him Slammiversary 2009. Mick at that same ppv wasn't as bad. Dreamer, Raven and Richards can carry the EV2 mic work imho.

BTW I understand kinda the storyline with Kendrick aligning himself with EV2, and the reasoning behind it, but they didn't need him for the 5th spot when he first aligned with them as Raven was still available.

 10. Because Shane really really can't work any more and is a much smaller name then Mick.
 11. Think Jericho said he would be touring around that time. The build for WM and WM itself. So it's unlikely.
 12.
Thing is the survey they did was apparently done in Pennsylvania/Philadelphia and ECW came up as something that was still relevant.

Anyhoo I really hope "They" are some TNA "Originals" That way they could combine some of the hopefully new fans they made this year with returning old fans.

 13. I think there kinda is such a thing as the bad ones according to some get mention, (WCW Russo, WCW Watts) and the good ones in some peoples eyes (Heyman, Cornette) but some like Kreski who was really good never get any mention anywhere.
 14. I just named some I know out of the top of my head and did not mean I was in support of them being underrated, plus you can argue both Jarrett's hehe. Not my fault that a lot of them are/where in TNA. Kreski was WWE and I did not mention D'Amore as I don't feel he is underrated.
 15. Any opinions on most under rated booker? Kreski (my pick), Stephanie, Dusty, Ole, Flair, WCW Russo, Jarrett, Mantell?
 16. Fisrt the streak debate and now how good is Heyman debate? Doing some classics aren't we lolz.
 17. ^^^This she isn't just part of she is head off. And the incremental change in style started when she took over from Kreski, most under-highlighted booker in history imho, in my view.
 18. 2.74 cable rating according to PWI. Again IF this becomes indicative of how they will match up against MNF then the E has definitely lost popularity. Will it effect their income etc yet? Probably not yet. Will it cause them to change their programming? Only once the loss in the demographic becomes so big that it negates their income from kid friendly sponsors and the low risk simple storytelling strategy they are using so far (aka Stephanie Booking, which compounds the fact that it is unlikely to change,) is seen to be non preferable.
 19. And a Punk. (obscure reference maybe but one of the theories about CM is that it originally stood for Chick Magnet.)
 20. I can remember Kozlov two years ago. Him not performing well in that match was the start of his depush I think.
 21. Yep I said this before if they do decide to end the streak the only logical wrestler would be A) Someone who will remain loyal and not cause too much troubles. ( See Lesnar, Lashley and early Michaels) B) Someone who needs solidifying in the main event scene. Before I mentioned Punk, now Sheamus could be a good one. On the other hand leaving the streak intact and putting Taker on a Hogan 2005-2007 type schedule could also make good dough. Edit: Just to make clear I am not advocating pro ending the streak just if they do decide to end it who it should be.
 22. Ok ok point taken sex sells and I was not disagreeing with that just that non sex could maybe also sell. Especially in the case of Kong as I really felt she was a special attraction. Anyway moving on. Saw this on PWI about the AJ vs Sabu match: Seriously? Where we watching the same match? I thought Sabu's selling, timing and psychology where bad if not terrible. OK he didn't really botch anything this time but it wasn't good. And if you factor in who he was in the ring with makes it even worse.
 23. And that was what I was trying to adress as there is not sufficient evidence either way for us, now if we had minute by minutes and an overview of what caused people to tune in in the first place (total product appeal) then we could have this discussion, and that there where a lot of mitigating factors that would not allow you to put the up the Lacey strip as evidence that it does. Also I am not saying that Sex appeal does not have drawing power but that a very good match/angle without sex appeal can have similar drawing power. If the ending of good match off Kim vs Kong, or to lessen sex appeal, Kong vs bald Roxxi was in said overrun it might have even been higher. Of course having both is best and that is what they had when the KO's where drawing really well by comparison. Does TNA care more about short term ratings then long term ratings? Yes definitely agree there. As evidenced by most of it's booking and Russo's and to a lesser extent Bischoff's booking philosophies. Edit: On Micky James is she a big signing as said by the sheets and not TNA? No not on her own. Does she have a small but dedicated fanbase? Yes If you factor out those of them that already watch TNA does that leave many people? No Could she help bring the KO's back to where they where? Not on her own but she can be a valuable ingredient.
 24. The striptease was overrun on one of their relatively higher rated Monday shows and did a 0.97 it was the april 5th show and an other segment did better in the show. Source torch via: http://fans.wwe.com/go/thread/view/4517/23093677/TNA_iMPACT!_4510_Ratings_Breakdown&post_num=4 and to confirm: http://www.truesportscore.com/forums/wrestling/21084-4-5-10-raw-tna-ratings.html As we do not have minute by minutes I can't say for sure what does and does not draw from a segment standpoint, and neither can others and as I don't have data what the reasons are people tune in in the first place neither can I expound on that. Was Kong for me and possibly others one of the reasons to tune in? Yeah. Was her leaving a cause for me to stop watching? No. Would her and other talent that I like leaving and/ or the weakening of other parts of TNA's product which I like cause me and possibly others to stop watching? Yeah. If for instance TNA had not given me back Anderson, Hardy, RVD and the Pope, Lethal and guns pushes and other stuff to balance it out I prolly would have left already because of the losses.
