I like the idea of "King Of Kings", and I see this being a problem every year. Not sure how to work around it. Might work with it for a year and then move it to March in year two.<p> </p><p> Any ideas on what to do with him for now? I don't like the idea of having him defend the title shot, but any other program seems a little off.</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> I've booked three draws between AA/Hawkins--a double knockout in January, an iron man match in February, an 30 minute Ultimate Submission in March that got a 90 rating. In April, I did a three-way with AA/Hawkins/Gauge, with AA going over. At Mayhem, I really wanted to do a 1 hour Ultimate Submission, but got a warning that AA would struggle going that long, so I'm doing Hell in a Cell instead. Original plan was to put AA over, but Hawkins has White Hot momentum....also, AA is 90% of the way to guaranteed Hall of Immortals status. Hawkins is only about 45%. If AA wins, he'll face Chord next. If Hawkins wins, either Mo or maybe Zimmy Bumfhole...</p>
  2. I started a thread on this exact topic during beta. There's so much we could do with an option to have worker's bleed in matches and angles...some broadcasters allow it, others don't, some guys are good at it, others refuse to do it, some guys over do it...also room for injuries, illness, etc.
  3. I prefer to have a non-wrestling avatar. Currently I'm using Grand Avatar in my TCW save. He never appears or does anything. He's just sorta there. When I have used a wrestler, he's usually on perma job duty anyway.
  4. You can use the editor to raise the risk level for that broadcaster. Or make a new match with low risk.
  5. I always play as owner. My play style is more fantasy booking than simulation.

Playing a RW mod and during a show I got the note that in their match, a botched move by Corey Storm caused a FAMILY DEATH to Lucas Steele!<p> What the hell happened here? Was Steele's grandmother sitting front row and and Storm wiped her out with a mistimed plancha?</p><p> The two of them now have a 'hatred' relationship and I'm just waiting for the lawsuit!</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> That's awesome. Now his next promo has to be about how "I slapped that punk so hard, his Granny died".....<img alt=":D" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/biggrin.png.929299b4c121f473b0026f3d6e74d189.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />:D:D</p>

Even if i don't want the worker, I'm going to at least make it cost more for the competition. So far I've snagged Zimmy Bumfhole and High Flying Hawaiian from SWF, Wade Orson from 21CW, Roger Cade (forgot where I stole him) and a guy whose last name is Malone from USPW.</p><p> </p><p> I plan to let a few people go, too. Tana is already gone, Courtney will be allowed to go, Human Arsenal, One Man Army, Chance Fortune, Devine all need to make way for a great group of young guys I have in development. Nick Booth is on thin ice. If he pops up in a backstage incident, I'm probably gonna fire him. </p><p> </p><p> Thomas and Hocking are becoming pet projects of mine. I've got Thomas teamed up with T-Bone and Hawaiian as my Trios champs at the moment. Hocking is at about 62 pop, looking for a regular tag partner to take the belts off Arsenal and Army when their contracts expire....</p>
  8. The current process for booking house shows is very clicky and tedious because I have to keep switching screens to get information. Is there any way the house show booking screen could be modified to allow access to chemistry and email (to see prior results)? And could the drop downs for the workers only show those that are eligible and not already booked on the house show loop?
  9. You look at the title history screen, and there is a button for "Achievements" on the bottom right of that screen. Clicking it will open yet another window that will show any progress towards the HoI along with other stuff.
  10. Sorry, I did not look at the storyline requirement last night. I can check it when I go home and post it this evening. I usually turn off the regional/area battles. I'm thinking of trying to leave them on this save, but I don't want to get clobbered and drop back to medium as soon as I come out of warm up time.
  11. <p>I expanded to Big size after my Week 4 April TV show. SWF fell to medium several weeks ago, but USPW is Large. Am I correct that I'm now going head to head with them in area battles only in the areas where I run non-house shows? So if I stay out of Canada for live events, even though I have TV and PPV coverage there, I won't get dinged up there, even if I lose the battle in the U.S.?</p><p> </p><p> I still have about a month worth of "warm up" time, but it looks like my Total Mayhem card will happen after I'm out of protection. I'm pretty confident that show rating is going to be better than anything USPW puts out in May, but he's got a little more star power than I do. If we're within a few points--say under a dozen, since I don't have exact numbers in front of me---but my best show is a few points better than theirs...should I risk using a combined score, or just based the battle on the best show?</p>
  12. Big Bubba Rogers shrugging off a breakaway chair shot from Dusty had him over huge with a few seconds of air time. Dusty later did the same thing with Meng. Vader got over standing there while Harley did the talking. Kamala. One Man Gang. Bundy. Abby. All those guys got over at least in part by being huge and looking scary. I'd hope for a 50/50 ratio, but at least a substantial bump needs to happen.
  13. I appreciate you taking the time to illustrate your point with examples. Thanks!
  14. I think you have to build them if you want one, and they're pretty expensive. I don't have one as TCW. Yet.
  15. You might find it easier to start another game with one of the smaller companies in the CVerse to get the hang of the mechanics before diving into something like WWF. The learning curve for this game is pretty steep....
  16. Hmmm. If you're coming in cold, I think I'd go with 2020, mainly because you won't have to unlearn the stuff that worked in 2016 but doesn't in 2020. I've got both versions on my laptop, but I haven't opened 2016 since 2020 Beta started, other than to convert a database.
  17. Cornell wouldn't talk to me, because I'm still medium. He signed with SWF. Right before they dropped to medium. Vessey I just fought for, but he picked CWA over me.
  18. Vessey challenges Golden to a rematch, and puts his career (or hair, cash purse, prized sports car, leave town or maybe 30 days of servitude) on the line. Vessey wins some qualifying match--maybe a 4 way, battle royal, or gauntlet If Vessey is a babyface, maybe some sort of fan's choice poll or something. Vessey poses as a masked jobber, scores a flash pin on Golden, then unmasks to demand his rematch.
  19. I've had some good luck with contracts, too. I missed Cameron Vessey and Tommy Cornell, but I got Roger Cade, Wade Orson, Zimmy Bumfhole, and High Flying Hawaiian.
  20. How about Steve Williams? Doc has history with the 'birds, and could easily fill the Gordy spot....
  21. What the game calls a "season finale" is just the biggest show of the year. Starcade, Wrestlemania, Battle of the Belts, etc. I'll blow off my top feuds, continue the others, and maybe start a new one. Big gimmick matches...like Hell in a Cell, Wargames, that sort of thing. Probably a major title change, possibly a turn. I don't hold anything back other than making sure I keep enough storylines active to meet whatever my product requires for the next show.
  22. I routinely use slow build in my main events, sometimes in semi-mains, without any problems....but that's as TCW.
