That said, Queen admits that he has lots of obstacles on his way, one of the biggest one being Austin Smooth, the man who he has traded wins back and forth for few months now and who will no doubt come after the belt soon again. Queen doesn´t get much further as Smooth does interrupt. Smooth declares that it´s a disgrace that Queen holds the belt again instead of him and that now he has once again defeat Queen and take the belt off from him even though Queen is obviously below him. Queen tells Smooth to shut up and do the talking in ring, something Queen remarks that Smooth has mostly failed to do against him so far. Smooth is angered by this, shouting that Queen has been lucky twice but that there´s won´t be a third time as Smooth will cash his rematch clause in few months and then beat Queen again on the rematch and finally leave him behind. That is of course if Queen manages to hold the belt until Smooth cashes his rematch clause. Queen answers taht he does plan to hold the belt, and he does plan to hold it after Smooth´s challenge as well so Smooth should once again prepare himself because Queen is here to show that he belongs on the top of the ladders. Booking wise, this was somewhat typical show from me after the "big show" (with the guys on main storylines just clashed in last show that show would pretty much equal PPV if I´d run those, so basically this would be right after PPV show). Namely most of the storylines were forwarded via angles with only the Fun Police vs. Revell and Drury clashing in pair of singles matches (with standard 1-1 split). Other than that Joe got a momentum win mainly to give me an excuse to cut the angle afterwards while the main event had three of my top faces going over Predators, mainly in hope to get at least one of the Predotors bit higher on popularity but also I just expected it to be good match with so much talent in it. Smooth & Whittaker vs. Bowen & Deuce was just filler and was there mainly to give Whittaker and Smooth another win. Speaking of that match, there was a nice chemistry note to be found there and I did decide to put Deuce and Bowen as regular team since their gimmicks at least aren´t completely opposite each other´s (goth for Deuce and Biker for Bowen) even if they aren´t really natural pair either. Don´t have any plans for them and there´s no space to push them at the moment so it doesn´t really help them rising on ranks but they will form a jobber team for now and that might at least help them keep their jobs a bit longer if nothing else as I´m less likely to let tag guys go simply because that usually means that I have to find two new guys instead of one (assuming that I´m not breaking the team simply because I would want to push one of them) and since I like to keep roster size decently small, I´m usually short of tag teams to fill the void. So they will now work with the tag team name Violent Conduct (I had no idea of a name so I just took the first suggestion that I felt fit decently for them). I also decided to officially put Wolfsbaine and Hangman as a team (named Predators), I was bit unsure about what ever to make them an official team mainly because Predators is already name of the whole group and I didn´t feel another name for their tag team would work either. At the end, the positive chemistry note on Bowen and Deuce made me decide to pair Logan and Hangman now so I would have some teams with decent experience if I decide to kick start tag team division eventually. Realistically, that might have to wait until regional though as I would at least like to have four teams, prefetably six that could be creditable contenders and that´s pretty hard to do with small company assuming you also want to have decent amound of singles guys as I usually do and it could well be that Predators (nor Violent Conduct for that matter) ain´t a team at that point but there´s no cost on putting them as team now so might as well do it in order to have more options later. As for who to praise after the show, well only thing really catching my eye was the promo from Queen and Smooth so they got the praise on that (plus both did well on their matches as well) while the third praise goes for Silencer for another great in-ring performance and him keeping on delivering raitings even when I don´t really give him much attention. I was generally happy with how everyone else performed as well, Fun Police + Revell and Drury turned two D- ratings aganst each other´s which is slighly above the E+ rating that jobber vs. star matches (Joe vs. Hurakan in this one) tend to currently get and that´s about what I would expect those four to get based on their push and former ratings. Cobra and Wolsbaine also delivered nicely on the main event, while Hangman failed to rise on the occasion and had an off night but he was expected to be a weak link and I knew he would likely bring the rating down a bit. Harper being second worst guy in the main event was a bit disappointing but D- was about was expected after those two E+ ratings against jobbers in previous two shows. It seems Harper ain´t quite as good as I hoped he would be (that E+ promo means he´s not particularly great talker either) but he should be able to deliver similar ratings than the likes of Joe, Revell or Whittaker and that´s good enough for me and perhaps he pick things up a bit after he gets few more matches under his belt. Harper did take time telling me that Wolfsbaine is a star in the making and while that´s something I already figured out, it does give indication that Harper is nice backstage presense and that´s always a big plus in my books.</p><p> </p><p> main event: Harper: 22, Smooth: 28, Queen: 28, Silencer: 25 </p><p> upper midcard: Cobra: 19, Garry: 19, , Seth: 19, Whittaker: 19 </p><p> midcard: Drury: 16, Wolfsbaine: 17, DeMarcus: 17, Revell: 19, Joe: 18, Hangman: 17 </p><p> lower midcard: Borgomeo: 12, Deuce: 17, Hurakan: 17, Night: 17 </p><p> Opener: Bowen: 9</p><p> </p><p> Cobra did gain a point from losing in the main event so my plan worked there. Garry also gained a point while Drury lost 2 points by being on losing side. Luckily Drury can get back to 17 pretty easily so it´s more point gained and point lost elsewhere which is fine. Wolfsbaine gained one but that was given since he was on 16 before the show. DeMarcus lost a point and Revell gained one, so again, as expected. Joe gained one as well from beating Hurakan since they were both on 17 points, while Bowen gained the usual two points. Overall, I´m quite happy about how things did go this time. On finacical side, it was pretty much things as usual with us losing 2 285$ this time around.</p></div><p></p><p></p>

Cobra interferes the promo, telling Joe that this won´t be over tonight, as while it´s not adviced to play with your food, Cobra ain´t quite ready to end the thrill of the hunt quite yet. Joe doesn´t seem happy about this but just declares that he just have to beat Cobra so hard that even he understands that Joe ain´t no-one´s pray but Cobra doesn´t seem impressed, reminding Joe that despite putting up good fight and winning a lot, he has lately failed when it was time to strike the killing blow and that is the weakness that Cobra plans to exploit when the time is right. He was happy about the decision and improved his behavior as a result. Also note about the venue, the game actually auto booked generic venue for me likely because there´s slighly less than 500 fans expected on the show and none of the actual venues really fit. However, I dislike using generic venues (purely personal opinion, and certainly it hurts me here) so I manually changed it back to San Juan High School and that´s were I will stay until I feel that we can move into Gymnasium Aquada (1000 seats venue) unless I of course forgot to change this manually every time. This show was relativily quick to book with three of the matches already being decided thanks to last show´s angles. Queen winning the belt back might be a bit of s surprise as I´m not usually one to hotshot belts back and forth but that´s exactly why I did it here as I tried to brake my usual booking habits a bit mostly to try to keep thing from becoming too predictable. I´d assume it could have worked better if someone else would have won the belt than Queen since I´m kind of just delayed Queen´s "real" run by hot-shotting belt between him and Smooth but I wanted to get a pay-off from keeping Queen strong since the start of the diary and thus decided that I want to give him a longer run. Also, as stated before, the current problem with Smooth is that he already recently feuded with most creditable title challengers so there wasn´t many feuds I could put him right now while Queen has slighly more options so it made sense to me to have Smooth drop the belt again. Another thing to note is that having lesser guy (combered to Smooth and Silencer) as a champion hurts me less now than it would later (currently E+ and D- rated shows seem to be enough to rise my popularity which wouldn´t be the case later on). The loss will certainly hurt Smooth´s popularity a bit but hopefully he can bounce back and Queen on the other hand, would need that extra popularity more than what Smooth would. As for other matches, Cobra beating Joe via run-in both ties the wins as 1-1 and keep the feud going for a bit longer as the win wasn´t clean while Fun Police did go over Revell and Drury based on the fact that they are a real tag team while Revell and Drury are thrown together pair (I actually considered making them a regular team but decided against it). Harker got a win mainly to establish the promo after the match as with all three feuds being mainly forwarded via matches, I had time to establish his character a bit. Joe and Cobra also got a promo time, frankly mainly just to fill out the show. Speaking of filler, the six-man tag match was certainly that as well, it was mainly there to give Whittaker a win after being pinned last month but also served as way to put my guys below 17 popularity into the show and thus help them raise their popularity towards the 17 points threshold. After the show, I praised Smooth (because he´s awesome, seriously, he gave better than normal performance in a match were he was asked to drop the belt), Queen (second half of the best match of not only the night but also ESE´s history to this point) and Joe (D is ok angle rating, bit disappointed about the match being only D- but no-one overperformed so he gets the praise).</p><p> main event: Harper: 22, Smooth: 28, Queen: 28, Silencer: 25 </p><p> upper midcard: Cobra: 18, Drury:18, Seth: 19, Whittaker: 19 </p><p> midcard: Garry: 18, Wolfsbaine: 16, DeMarcus: 18, Revell: 18, Joe: 17, Hangman: 17 </p><p> lower midcard: Borgomeo: 12, Deuce: 17, Hurakan: 17, Night: 17 </p><p> Opener: Bowen: 7</p><p> </p><p> Smooth actually gained a point this month! He was in FCW show as well, being on the losing side against 937lb with Laine so no idea if he gained point there or here (grades were 52 vs. 46 to ESE´s favor but I have noticed that AI seems to get popularity easier than what players do). Regardless who it is to thank, I happily take a raise there as I was expecting him to lose 2 - 3 points. Queen also rise all the way to 28 (from 24) so that main event worked great! In a more familar territory, Cobra gained a point by beating Joe who lost two points but not going to complain about that as it´s what I expected. Slighly surprised that Fun Police vs. Revell and Drury didn´t give any popularity changes but I take no change on that one without complain. Other than that, the ones below 17 got their usual 2 points increase which was enough to push Wolfsbaine to midcard status. Garry The Entertainer had his contract coming to an end during this month and he asked only 400$ per show deal so I quickly accepted it and offered a 3 year deal (with no travel again) as I have been really happy with him and he has become a quite big part of my roster´s midcard, something that I didn´t foresee to happen when I first signed him. Garry accepted the deal and will now be part of the company for three more years unless something unexpected happens. On finances, we lost about the same amound than last month with 1,332$ being lost this time around. </p><p> </p></div><p></p><p></p>

  11. January 2019 Friday, week 3 ESE Eternal Storm San Juan High School (Puerto Rico) Attendance: 300 2 vs. 2 & vs. & Dustin Deuce & Jules Night vs. Kirk Drury & Outlaw Wes Revell In a poor match, Outlaw Wes Revell and Kirk Drury defeated Dustin Deuce and Jules Night in 6:57 when Outlaw Wes Revell defeated Dustin Deuce by pinfall. Notes: Deuce was really off his game Performance: Deuce: E-, Night: E, Drury: E+, Revell: D- WINNERS: Kirk Drury & Outlaw Wes Revell by pinfall in 6:57 E+ ANGLE: After their match, Kirk Drury starts to talk about how great he is and how everyone should realize it now that he and Revell did banish Freedom Eagle from ESE. Drury also suggest to Revell that they should work together on regular basis. Revell answers that he will work with Drury as long as he keeps the dollars coming his way. Drury tries to convince Revell on working with him as partners instead of hired gun but he has little success on it much to his annoyance. Drury´s mood takes a swing to worse as Fun Police interfere them, telling Drury and Revell that they did bad things to force Eagle out from ESE and that they are going to get their punisment in hands of Fun Police. Oh and since they happen to be here, Revell should certainly accept the offer as it´s always more fun with friends. Drury starts yelling to Fun Police, telling them to piss off since Drury and Revell already had a match. Garry and Marcus agree that they can´t face each other´s this month but next month they can and they will. Drury tells them that they are going to get beating of their lives by him and Revell but Revell simply reminds Drury that he ain´t doing anything unless he gets paid. Drury tries to argue that Fun Police is after them both but that doesn´t seem to concern Revell so Drury finally agrees to pay for Revell to be in the match and help him take out the Fun Police. Speaking of Fun Police, they had already wandered backstage during the argument between Drury and Revell, a fact that makes Drury fume even more about how disrespecful that was while Revell is still his usual stoic himself. D- 1 vs. 1 vs. Andrew Harper vs. Darryl Borgomeo In an extremely short match, Andrew Harper defeated Darryl Borgomeo in 4:32 by pinfall with a Spike Slam. Notes: Harper debuted Bad Ass gimmick with average rating Performance: Harper: E+, Borgomeo: E WINNER: Andrew Harper by pinfall in 4:32 E+ 1 vs. 1 vs. Quentin Queen vs. Hurakan In an extremely short match, Quentin Queen defeated Hurakan in 4:40 by pinfall with a Q-Ball. Notes: Hurukan was really off his game Performance: Queen: D-, Hurakan: E WINNER: Quentin Queen by pinfall in 4:40 D- ANGLE: Queen cuts a promo after his match, telling that he´s going to cash his rematch next month and tells Smooth to bring his A-game because he plans to pull all stops in order to regain the belt he hold for a short time. C- 3 vs. 3 & & vs. & & Fun Police (Garry The Entertainer & Nate DeMarcus) & Fred Bowen vs. Predators (Cobra, Texas Hangman & Logan Wolfsbaine) In a poor match, Predators (Cobra, Logan Wolfsbaine and Texas Hangman) defeated Fred Bowen and Fun Police in 9:56 when Cobra defeated Fred Bowen by submission with a Viper Vice. During the match we also had Kirk Drury run in and attack Garry. Fred Bowen was the weak link, struggling to keep up with everyone else's in-ring performance. Notes: Bowen debuted biker gimmick with great rating. Performance: Garry: D-, DeMarcus: E+, Bowen: E-, Cobra: D-, Wolfsbaine: D-, Hangman: E+ WINNERS: Predators by submission in 9:56 D- ANGLE: After the match, Cobra stays on the ring, telling audience that ESE management has seen fit to book him against Regular Joe in 1 vs. 1 action next month. Cobra says that as far as Joe goes, it´s still bit early for the killing blow so he didn´t plan to face Joe just yet. But as is the way of the nature, he has to adapt his plans and he´s going to be ready to face his prey next month. D 1 vs. 1 vs. 1 for King of the Network belt vs. vs. The Silencer vs. Austin Smooth vs. Whitehorse Whittaker In a decent match, Austin Smooth defeated The Silencer and Whitehorse Whittaker in 13:40 when Austin Smooth defeated Whitehorse Whittaker by submission with a Smooth Hold. Austin Smooth makes defence number 1 of his ESE King of the Network title. Whitehorse Whittaker was the weak link, struggling to keep up with everyone else's in-ring performance. Notes: - Performance: Silencer: D, Smooth: D+, Whittaker: D- WINNER: Austin Smooth by pinfall in 13:40 D+ Show Rating: D- Comments: I started to booking of this show on the main event and boy was that tricky to put together. Overall, I find it quite hard to figure good filler title matches and typically go with three or four way matches as singles matches are ofter reserved for feuds. On this case, I was first considering Cobra and Joe into main event but with Cobra just cutting a promo on last month about time not being right yet for the strike, I felt that it would be rather odd if he faces Joe straight after that even if it is a title match (shows how well I plan ahead which is not much at all ). I then put Harper into title match and then decided that Silencer didn´ t have anything better to do and figured that with him and Smooth in the main event, the match would always be great. Then I decided to add Whittaker into match too as I figured that a) he´s doing nothing at the moment, and b) he could benefit skill wise on working with Silencer and Smooth. Then, I decided to make it a three way anyway and cut Harker on the main event, the main reason for this is that I didn´t want a new signing to be in the title match in his first appearance (not that it has stopped me before as at least Garry and Freedom Eagle both had their first match be a title match) as he haven´t "earned" a spot in there. Now, I know it´s not a great reasoning consdering that I have booked pretty much every jobber than had been in ESE into title matches one time or another (mostly to get those filler title defenses that I so love to book) but the case with Harper is that he´s going to get a shot later anyway and I´d like to proberly build him up first while jobbers pretty much have their best shot at the beginning before people get too used to see them getting pinned. After the main event was booked, rest of the show fell down pretty quickly, I knew I wanted Revell and Drury to feud with Fun Police so I had Revell and Drury be in a tag match in order to set up the angle later on. I wasn´t entirely happy to have Fun Police be on the losing side for Predators as I fear that it might drop Nate back to 17 without really benefiting anyone but I figured that it was still ok thing to do espesially with Drury interfering and Bowen being the one getting pinned. Harper and Queen both got an essential squash match just to get them in the card. Both Queen and Cobra cutting a promo was simply a way to keep their feuds going instead of really setting up anything new and thus what they actually said were secondary concern to me. Also, slighly odd note is that Whittaker was unhappy about how the booking of the main event went. I actually checked if Silencer would be more willing to take a loss and he would but Whittaker was still unhappy? At the end, I just decided to go with Whittaker losing since he´s unhappy anyway and his not important enough for me to change my booking plans if he gets angry enough to leave (oddly enough, he is unhappy about the booking of the match but is still happy about his recent booking on January... yeah...). I assume it´s the old, "he´s more popular in rest of the USA so he sees himself as bigger star even if he has less popularity in our home area" thing that have been bugging me during multiple diaries across several TEW games. This is one of the main reasons why I hate signing talent above F+ popularity around USA in this type of saves as they almost never happy to lose to my main guys (aka the ones with popularity only in my home area) despite my main guys having higher popularity in the only area were it really matters. I complimented Queen (great promo and also decent enough match with off game opponent), Hangman (E+ is slighly better than what I generally expect from him) and Revell (nothing special but he was able to be the highest ranked guy in his match and ok promo too, plus I haven´t really praised him a whole lot and have kind of failed to push him the way I was supposed to so I decided that he at least deserves a praise this time). main event: Harper: 22, Smooth: 27, Queen: 24, Silencer: 25 upper midcard: Drury:18, Joe: 19, Seth: 19, Whittaker: 19 midcard: Cobra: 17, Deuce: 17, Garry: 18, DeMarcus: 18, Revell: 18, Hangman: 17 lower midcard: Borgomeo: 10, Hurakan: 17, Night: 15, Wolfsbaine: 14 Opener: Bowen: 3 So Silencer gained a point just by being part of the main event as did Whittaker despite all that whining about needing to be booked stronger. Everyone else stayed were they were expect anyone below 17 got who all got their usual 2 points (well Bowen got 3 but everyone else). It´s also note worthy that Drury did have a match in FCW (win against Brady Prince) and while that didn´t visibly change his popularity, auto-push did upgrade him from midcard to upper midcard between my two events so I assume he gained slight popularity boost from that even if that doesn´s show on popularity rating. On financial side, we lost another 1 321$.

Jazz would had been a lot more difficult if he would had been any higher on the card but since I didn´t have any plans for him and pretty much anyone could replace him he just wasn´t worth keeping with all those backstage penalties (I always aim high backstage rating so any negative impacts are a big minus on my list espesially if there´s multiple of those on one person).</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> Roster Review:</p><p> </p><p> And as usual for the end of the year it´s time for a roster review. In terms of roster turnover, this year was quite an eventful one with Andrew Harper, Logan Wolsbaine, Texas Hangman, Kirk Drury, Nate DeMarcus, Hurukan, Darryl Borgomeo, Jules Night and Fred Bowen all joining us while Justice Jolson, Kid Fantasic, Mad Dog Mortimer and Rex Reeves left (though we already knew some of them were on their way out last year at this time). Add Freedom Eagle and Jazz Funk (and Seth Whitehead who´s only namely part of the roster anymore) who didn´t stay a full year to that and you got by far the busiest year in terms of roster movement. Then again, that was to be expected as you do need to shuffle your starting roster evetually and most guys named above are/were quite low on the card and also rising to small was always going to bring some new names to the company. Overall, with additions of Logan Wolfsbaine, Nate DeMarcus and Andrew Harper, I´m again feeling quite confident with my roster after shortly starting to worry about the grades during last year. Also getting used to production penalties and the fact that RIPW ain´t no longer a direct competition have helped me ease up a bit and as a result. I don´t currenty plan to expand my roster and only contract coming up in next 6 months is Garry´s and he´s planned to be resigned so hopefully the first half of 2019 will be uneventful in terms of roster movement. In terms of pushes, I´m somewhat given up the top 8, bottom 8 idea that I had a year ago, mainly because I found out that I still thought them being on differend levels anyway so it didn´t really reflect the reality particularly well. Before writing this one, I didn´t actually have particularly clear picture of who was were in terms of push bur writing this helped me clear my own head and come up with quite solid idea of were everyone stands in terms of push. That said, some movent could happen during the year as usual. Anyway, here´s where everyone stands in my mind at this moment:</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> Big Three: Austin Smooth, The Silencer and Quentin Queen</p><p> </p><p> No surprise here, these three are the three most over guys in the company at the moment and are thus the biggest stars. Queen is somewhat below the other two in terms of grades but that haven´t hurt him so far in my eyes. The main problem I have with these three is that they so much more over than anyone else (except maybe Harper) that is hard to figure feuds that wouldn´t hurt their popularity but still keep their opponents looking strong as well.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> Other main players: Andrew Harper, Regular Joe, Cobra, Whitehorse Whittaker</p><p> </p><p> These four would currently be the next tier behind the top three, Harper is bit of an unwritten leaf right now but he´s popularity alone would put him here as would the impression I have gotten from him while reading other people´s diaries.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> Midcard guys: Nate DeMarcus, Garry The Entertainer, Outlaw Wes Revell</p><p> </p><p> These three ain´t quite having the same push than the other top guys but are considered solid performers and will likely have frequent storylines with the main guys even if they are more likely to end up on the losing side at the end of the feud.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> Rising Stars: Logan Wolsbaine, Kirk Drury, Texas Hangman</p><p> </p><p> These are the next tier of guys, Logan is someone who I hope to eventually becoming main player, Kirk´s glass ceiling would likely be midcard guy currently but if FCW ever starts to use him he might become a real player simply by gaining enough popularity that I can´t ignore him anymore. Hangman is currently step below the other two, mainly being here thanks to him being part of Predators and thus needing to stay decently strong. </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> Rest of the guys: Hurakan, Darryl Borgomeo, Dustin Deuce, Jules Night, Fred Bowen</p><p> </p><p> These guys are expected to lose way more than they win.</p><p> </p><p> NOTE: Average match rating is from the 2018 and doesn´t include earlier years.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> Main event:</p><p> </p><p> <img alt="gQwSeBU.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/gQwSeBU.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> Andrew Harper</p><p> Age: 29</p><p> Face, Bad Ass</p><p> Record (in ESE): -</p><p> Average match Rating (in ESE): -</p><p> As said, Harper is still unwritten leaf in terms of performance but I expect him being able to at least match the likes of Whittaker and Regular Joe on that area. Since Harper´s signing weren´t planned, I don´t yet have ideas for him but I´m sure I soon find one and it´s quite safe bet to expect him to be in a storyline sooner or later simply because he´s the one with most options open as most of my top guys have either already feuded (something that is playing a big part going forward and is going to be mentioned a lot on this roster review), or I have plans to feud them later on.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> <img alt="bsGXr0s.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/bsGXr0s.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> Austin Smooth</p><p> Age: 24</p><p> Heel, Prima Donna.</p><p> Record (in ESE): 8 - 0 - 3 (24 - 2 - 8)</p><p> Average match Rating (in ESE): D</p><p> Smooth is still the best rating machine alongside Silencer and my top heel and I don´t see either one of those changing this year either. That said, once he´s current title run is over, he´s likely going to take a backseat in terms of screen time and the reason for this is simply that I have mostly exhausted his feud options with Joe, Silencer and Queen all being guys Smooth had feuded recently over the belt. That said, expect him to win a lot as he´s popularity is too high for him to lose outside of Queen and Silencer and with another face on Harper currently being the 4th most popular guy, I need to rather build heels up than faces and thus I don´t see Smooth being jobbed to anyone even if he´s not on the spotlight. </p><p> </p><p> <img alt="1OOBqpp.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/1OOBqpp.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> Quentin Queen</p><p> Age: 25</p><p> Face, Blue Chipper</p><p> Record (in ESE): 8 - 0 - 2 (25 - 1 - 6)</p><p> Average match Rating (in ESE): D</p><p> Queen managed to rise his average match rating to D (from D-) but then again, he spend second half of the year feuding with Smooth so I would be worried if he hadn´t done that. Despite not really delivering any better than Regular Joe, I still continue to push Queen as one of my top guys. I guess I just like to have at least guy or two at the top who probably shouldn´t be there, mainly because I occasionally like to push guys that normally aren´t used and thus tend to do so after I found few guys that I can trust keep things together (mainly Smooth and Silencer on this one with Cobra filling in when needed) while I´m pushing the less great guys. Expect Queen to have big role this year as he have decent amount of feud options open namely with Whittaker and Cobra (yes, Queen feuded with Cobra back to 2016 but I feel like there´s enough time between that and now that Cobra would be potential feud option again at this point) and potentially one of the rising stars (Logan, Hangman or Drury with Drury being the most likely one) if I need more options. </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> <img alt="vvyWO0h.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/vvyWO0h.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> The Silencer</p><p> Age: 36</p><p> Face, Armed Forces</p><p> Record (in ESE): 6 - 0 - 2 (11 - 2 - 3)</p><p> Average match Rating (in ESE): D</p><p> Silencer has same role than Smooth on the heel side, namely make sure that I have at least one guy on each side who I can absolutely trust to deliver great ratings and as a result, he´s very important guy on my roster. That said, he didn´t found a feud after losing to Smooth and that is shown by his record as he only appeared in 8 shows out from the 12. I tried to find a feud for him on the next round, something that sounds easy enough as he´s only feuded with Smooth so far but the problem is that whoever he´s going to feud with is going to have so much lower popularity that Silencer is almost certainly going to drop popularity during the feud instead of gaining it and that combined with the fact that I have other plans for most likely feud partners later (Whittaker and Cobra again) and/or would run said feuds later could potentially leave Silencer off the feuds again. That would certainly not be ideal situation so I´m currently considering adding him into certain multi-man feud just to make sure he has something to do, more about that when the current round of feuds ends.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> Upper Midcard:</p><p> </p><p> <img alt="NaloB3a.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/NaloB3a.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> Nate DeMarcus</p><p> Age: 24</p><p> Face, Happy-Go-Lucky</p><p> Record (in ESE): 3 - 0 - 1 </p><p> Average match Rating (in ESE): E+</p><p> Nate have had an ok start with us. E+ as match average ain´t particularly great but you have to remember that out of the four matches, Nate faced Mortimer once in singles action and then teamed with Garry as Fun Police on other three with two being against random jobber pair while only the third tag match was against talent higher on the card. That´s quite likely how it is for the most part for Fun Police, beating jobbers and losing to guys higher on the pecking order, although they will likely end in some feuds too (I actually plan to put Fun Police into storyline straight away to replace the Revell vs. Eagle one). Overall, I´m so far happy about Nate´s performance and think that he and Garry could be solid midcard team for a long time.</p><p> </p><p> <img alt="M9kMTmh.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/M9kMTmh.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> Regular Joe</p><p> Age: 29</p><p> Face, Blue Collar</p><p> Record (in ESE): 7 - 0 - 4 (24 - 1 - 8)</p><p> Average match Rating (in ESE): D-</p><p> Joe is still the highest paid guy in the roster and still slighly underperforms considering his cost but he´s still a solid hand and currently the plan is to keep him once his contract comes up after 11 months. Joe had a bit of down year in terms of push, falling from being the main champ into more midcard position while putting Smooth and Whittaker over and now feuding with Cobra who I plan to push so you can likely figure were that feud is going. I´m hoping to build Joe back up a bit after his current feud ends but he does suffer a bit from a same thing that Smooth, namely that he already have feuded with the biggest heel names recently (Smooth, Whittaker and Cobra) and thus will likely have to settle to midcard feuds until I either shake up my top heels or until enough time has passed that I feel the feuds are ok to be redone. </p><p> </p><p> <img alt="PduipuV.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/PduipuV.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> Seth Whitehead</p><p> Age: 25</p><p> Face, Bad Ass</p><p> Record (in ESE): 0 - 0 - 0 (13 - 1 - 9)</p><p> Average match Rating (in ESE): -</p><p> Seth haven´t been working up for a year now and only had one match in GSW this year so not much to say here. He´s contract is up in 11 months and I doubt he´s GSW contract would run out before that so most likely he won´t have another match for us before his run ends. Certainly the biggest loss I have had so far and someone who I would look to sign back if he leaves from GSW.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> <img alt="02tjC91.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/02tjC91.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> Whitehorse Whittaker</p><p> Age: 31</p><p> Heel, Grizzled Tough</p><p> Record (in ESE): 8 - 0 - 2 (13 - 0 - 3)</p><p> Average match Rating (in ESE): D-</p><p> Whittaker has done ok job so far, enough to justify his current push but not enough for me to consider him amongst my most reliable performers. In terms of storylines, Whittaker started the year strong by beating Regular Joe but then I didn´t find a storyline for him after that so he´s push slighly stalled as a result (that three point popularity drop in July didn´t help either and he mostly faced jobbers after that so gaining popularity back have been hard). Expect Whittakar to take more central state next year as with Smooth likely taking a step back, it would be Whittaker and Cobra who I expect to fill the void until I find a fresh feud for Smooth again. </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> Midcard:</p><p> </p><p> <img alt="HwG9s5O.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/HwG9s5O.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> Cobra</p><p> Age: 28</p><p> Heel, Snake</p><p> Record (in ESE): 5 - 0 - 4 (17 - 1 - 11)</p><p> Average match Rating (in ESE): D-</p><p> Cobra continues to be a solid presence on my midcard and I´m hoping this would be the year when he starts his raise to main event scene, at least that´s the plan at the moment but we will see how it works. As is often the case with me, some of the top guys are having years were they aren´t on the spotlight a lot and Cobra had that kind of year this time, not having any feud at the start of the year. At the second half, things fired up a bit with the current feud with Regular Joe starting. I have plans on further feuds for Cobra and him being the leader of my only stable should also help him stay decently strong as other members of the stable can eat some key losses in feuds. So basically, expect Cobra to stay strong this year and likely the next as well and hopefully getting a push that sees him becoming main event player (assuming plans doesn´t change). </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> <img alt="gGnd4Jj.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/gGnd4Jj.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> Garry The Entertainer</p><p> Age: 24</p><p> Face, Bubbly Babyface</p><p> Record (in ESE): 7 - 0 - 4 (8 - 0 - 11)</p><p> Average match Rating (in ESE): D-</p><p> Despite Cobra and Seth having had pretty good careers so far in my diary, I think Garry might well be or at least become the biggest success story so far. The reason why I say this is that he was brought in as a jobber and I believe I said that you shouldn´t expect him to win any matches during his stay. Well, just year later and he has almost twice as many wins than losses for last year so Garry certainly have moved up on ranks. Being in tag team is a bit of a double edge sword with me as on one side, you are more likely to stay decently strong and keep your job if you are midcarder that has a tag team going on versus singles guy but on the same time, upper midcard is a bit of glass ceiling if you are on tag team as I rarely do main event teams (mainly because I feel those would dominate the tag division). In Garry´s case I assume getting a partner would be more positive than negative as he´s alt would make it hard for me to push him as main player regardless of how good he´s performance would be and being one of the main tag team guys would likely be second best option to be in my roster if main event run is unlikely. Expect Fun Police to be in storyline or two (were they will likely be bit more on losing end but it´s still an upgrade for them) so they should gain decent exposure next year.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> <img alt="IE8Yfvb.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/IE8Yfvb.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> Hurakan</p><p> Age: 19</p><p> Heel, Cartoon Joker</p><p> Record (in ESE): 1 - 0 - 6</p><p> Average match Rating (in ESE): E+</p><p> Hurakan have been doing an ok job so far so I have no comblains on him. He´s likely going to fall a bit on the pecking order when everyone gets to 17 popularity but that´s all right as he isn´t really meant to be midcard guy in the first place. Expect Hurakan to continue his jobbing duties next year and with Logan, Drury and Hangman all getting a bit of a push, I doubt Hurakan would get more wins next year than this and might well not have even that one when everything is said and done.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> <img alt="b50sLBx.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/b50sLBx.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> Kirk Drury</p><p> Age: 29</p><p> Heel, Ravishing</p><p> Record (in ESE): 4 - 0 - 5</p><p> Average match Rating (in ESE): E</p><p> As his average match rating will tell, Drury haven´t yet managed to turn the ratings in that I was hoping he would (he actually have the worst average on any active guy currently which shocks me quite a bit) but he likely had ringrust at the beginning and had to deal with Eagle a lot on the second half so I´m still patient with him. Drury kind of benefited from the Eagle episode a bit and gained few more wins than he would otherwise had. He also potentially stands to gain from his FCW contract as any popularity raise should help him with us although he likely going to donate some of that elsewhere the same way Ramone was back when he was with us. Of course, FCW would need to use him first and the AI ain´t having great record on actually using my talents so far so we have to wait and see. I do have storyline or two in mind for Kirk so expect him to get chance to show his skills at the beginning of the year although, like Fun Police, he´s more likely to end into losing side of feuds. So overall, Kirk potentially stands to gain a push (espesially if FCW finds use for him) but it´s bit of a sink or swim year for him as he needs to get that E match average rating up to at least E+ and prefetably D- rating if he wants to keep the position I´m currently planning for him.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> <img alt="R4wPrpL.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/R4wPrpL.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> Outlaw Wes Revell</p><p> Age: 27</p><p> Heel, Cowboy</p><p> Record (in ESE): 6 - 0 - 2 (8 - 0 - 4)</p><p> Average match Rating (in ESE): D-</p><p> So far, the experiment with Revell have been bit of a mixed back as he haven´t really shined but haven´t disappointed either. That´s partly my fault as I haven´t really been comfortable pushing Revell (the fact that I was unwilling to put him over Queen while they feuded being the biggest sign on that) above beating jobbers and losing to bigger guys and the feud with Eagle that was supposed to help Revell partly fell flat thanks to Eagle´s behavior problems. Overall, I feel that midcard is were he should be at the moment so expect similar treatment than with Drury and Fun Police, namely being in storylines but likely on the losing side when facing above midcard guys.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> <img alt="raEy4gd.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/raEy4gd.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> Texas Hangman</p><p> Age: 19</p><p> Heel, Crusher</p><p> Record (in ESE): 2 - 0 - 4</p><p> Average match Rating (in ESE): D-</p><p> Hangman has certainly benefited being put into same group than Cobra and Logan and while he will be the fall guy for the group, that might still be higher than he supposed to be on this state of his career. Stiil, that´s were he is and I have no current plans to alter his push, it remains to be seen if he can stay relevant after Predators run their course but right now, he´s in a good spot and should develop well while working alongside Cobra and Wolfsbaine. Expect Hangman to feature in storylines, mainly as a henchman for Cobra but that´s still way more than any other rookie guy could claim to have.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> Lower Midcard:</p><p> </p><p> <img alt="afr75F7.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/afr75F7.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> Darryl Borgomeo</p><p> Age: 21</p><p> Heel, Biker</p><p> Record (in ESE): 1 - 0 - 1</p><p> Average match Rating (in ESE): E+</p><p> Darryl is still pretty much unwritten leaf at this point so not much to say about him. Now that the storyline has ended, expect Deuce to keep jobbing as he´s still near the bottom of the barrel in terms of push and that unlikely to change anytime soon.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> <img alt="pWR0ou8.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/pWR0ou8.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> Jules Night</p><p> Age: 21</p><p> Face, Machine</p><p> Record (in ESE): 0 - 0 - 6</p><p> Average match Rating (in ESE): E+</p><p> Of the guys who I but into "rest of the guys", Night would currently be the most likely to get a push but that doesn´t say a whole lot and it´s still quite unlikely he´s going to get past jobber role espesially with him and Cobra disliking each other´s. Night has been a solid hand on lower end of the roster and that´s pretty much all you can expect from him to be.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> <img alt="Tdpb2q5.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/Tdpb2q5.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> Logan Wolfsbaine</p><p> Age: 23</p><p> Heel, Enforcer</p><p> Record (in ESE): 1 - 0 - 2</p><p> Average match Rating (in ESE): D-</p><p> Logan have had a solid start although to be fair, Logan has also in general faced higher level opponents so far than most of the other low level guys and thus the average match rating might lie a little bit. Still, Logan is someone who I look to become an important part of the roster in future and he will likely get into midcard pack alongside Fun Police and Revell pretty much as soon as he gets to 17 popularity. Whatever he gets further than that depends on his performance but I´d assume he would stay on the midcard at least 1 - 2 years before I would push him further even in the case were I would feel him being ready for a bigger role. </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> Enchantment Talent:</p><p> </p><p> <img alt="6O59uOA.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/6O59uOA.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> Fred Bowen</p><p> Age: 20</p><p> Face, Biker</p><p> Record (in ESE): -</p><p> Average match Rating (in ESE): -</p><p> Bowen just got here so nothing yet to say about him. He also don´t have simmering tension with Handsome Stranger anymore so he could well stay in FCW for some time. He´s still lower midcard guy with them but is certainly more over than what he would be if he would still be with us. Highlight of Ramone´s year is likely his four challenges on FCW People´s champion belt (Giant Brody being the champion on all four times) during the year (he lost them all but at least he got to be in title matches) and a win over Carlos Gonzales in September. </p><p> </p><p> </p><p> <img alt="fOQmCtj.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/fOQmCtj.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> Lucas Danger</p><p> Age: 24</p><p> Record during the year (Independence): 1 - 0 - 4</p><p> Average match Rating during the year (Independence): E-</p><p> Lucas was in five matches this year which is the same than what he worked in previous two years combined (including the two matches with us) so on that note, 2018 was certainly his most successful year. Loser Of The Fall Is Fired From WWF The Heenan Family (Mr. Perfect, The Barbarian and ???) vs. Ricky Steamboat, Big Bossman and Tito Santana Who Loses The Fall: Tito Santana Comments: I could see either Barbarian, Bossman or Santana leaving depending what your plans are for those three but I goi with Santana being the one who gets cut. Eddie Gilbert vs. Wahoo McDaniel Comments: This feels like it should be Gilbert´s win but he caused problems backstage (wrestled as drunk and was on drugs as well) so I wonder if that affected his push at least momentarily. Randy Savage vs. Hulk Hogan Comments: Normally I would go with Hogan, because Hogan. But on this case, Randy is set to face Warrior for the main belt so I´d assume he stays strong here although I doubt it will be a clean win.

Jazz leaving was more of a case of backstage politics and him being disliked by too many important roster members rather than anything bad he did but still the end reasult is the same and I can´t say that I would miss him either as he didn´t contribute a whole lot into the shows other than being someone who I didn´t mind losing all the time. </p><p> </p><p> <img alt="Mjh55YU.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/Mjh55YU.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> Freedom Eagle</p><p> Age: 25</p><p> record (in ESE): 4 - 0 - 7</p><p> Average match rating (in ESE): E</p><p> If Jazz leaving was kind of "it´s a shame but I don´t really care" for me, I´m pretty darn happy to get an excuse to get rid of Eagle. Which is a shame since I thought he could be valuable midcarder for me (I do seem to take liking on guys with masked alt for whatever reason) but random backstage incitend (his fight with Graveson) ended that chance pretty quickly and him becoming unhappy and then phoning his performances quickly spiraled him into dog house and gives him a dubious honor of being the biggest miss I had so far in this diary. That said, even before those incitents, he wasn´t quite getting the ratings I expected from him (remember, he was originally signed to replace Seth Whitehead) but without personal problems, I feel that he could have become a midcard guy, perhaps forming a patriotic midcard tag team with someone (potentially with Regular Joe or some new signing).</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> New Signings:</p><p> With two guys leaving, I obviosuly wanted to sign two new ones and while both guys were basically classified as jobbers (Eagle fell to that position after his misbehaving), I was in mind of bringing another midcard/main event guy on face side, potentially picking up 3 to 6 spot on the face side (so somewhere between Joe, Garry and Nate) depending on who I´d sign. I also looked some older guys that I previously overlooked as it has occurred to me that I specifically picked popularity over perfomance promotion so that I could use older talents more effectively and then completely skipped older guys on the base idea that they are "too old". I looked several differend names with Ace Youngblood, Andrew Harper, Ford Gumble, Happy Elwood, Jebediah, Jeremie Courthey, Kashmir Singh, Knuckles, Max Mayhem, Rayne Man and Shady K being the main ones that I considered. For other spot, I wanted to simple sign another jobber guy so not going to go into deeper on who considerred for that. Anyway here´s the guys I ended up with.</p><p> </p><p> <img alt="gQwSeBU.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/gQwSeBU.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> Andrew Harper</p><p> Age: 29</p><p> Popularity in USA: E- (22 in Puerto Rico)</p><p> Face, Bad Ass</p><p> So I ended up not hiring an older guy anyway, but Harper felt like a best fit in terms of skills, popularity and prize, with the cost being the main deciding factor as Harper was willing to work for 700$ per show, while most other´s on the list above demanded at minimum 900$ per show which would have made any of them my highest paid guys (Harper is joint second with Queen, asking 100$ less than Regular Joe). While I do associate Harper as heel thanks to him being that in NYCW, he does have strong rating on face side as well and that´s what he will be here (at least for time being), slotting somewhere between Joe and Fun Police in terms of initial push. Harper was cut from NYCW back in November 2017 (he did get a tag title reign with New York Doll that lasted from may 2016 to November 2016 to go alongside the two Tri-State regional title reigns he had before the game started) so he spend this entire 2018 in Intependence scene, getting a respectable D- as his match average there although he mainly had decent (or at least well known) opponents like Singh, Charlie Thacher, Jeremy Courtney, Honest Frank, Miller Fforte and Moroi so lets see how he can do with me.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> <img alt="6O59uOA.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/6O59uOA.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> Fred Bowen</p><p> Age: 20</p><p> Popularity in USA: F-</p><p> Face, Biker</p><p> No, I didn´t hire Grunt, but it´s his regen Fred Bowen who so far have had only two matches in intependence scene (wins against TJ Bayley and JOJI, the first one rated as F+ and the second as E) so obviously he´s very green still. That also means he´s cheap though and he´s willing to work for just 140$ per show and as said before, I don´t really expect my jobbers to perform anyway so why not pick a cheap one if I can? Bowen scouts as strong physical and heel with average elsewhere and that´s all I know so lets see if he manages to become something or if he´s just going to leave after his current two years contract is done. I gave him a biker gimmick mainly bacause Grunt´s alt kind of pushes me there for some reason but also I figured that I could pair him up with another newbie Darryl Borgomeo (who also had biker gimmick) as a jobber team. Or atleast that thought crossed my mind until I realized that Darryl is heel so they aren´t going to team up any time soon. <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/redface.png.900245280682ef18c5d82399a93c5827.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p></div><p></p><p></p>

Cobra shakes he´s head, looking amused. Yes, Joe have gotten some wins and proven that he´s not an easy target, but having a prey be worth your time is just going to make the eventual kiiling blow all that more sweater. And as far as wins go, winning a meaningless battle isn´t doing much, only the last fight counts and every time Joe has to fight them is draining Joe and evetually he will be weak enough for the final strike and then, and only then, will Cobra strike. First match to be booked on this show was actually Drury vs. Eagle mainly because I had already decided to that will happen and build-up for than in last show. I fully expect Eagle to sandback or complain on this one but they both on 17 popularity right now and I hope win here would help Drury to push up to 18 (he will certainly fall back to 17 at some point but would hopefully help another guy to get up to 18 as a trade off) and I don´t really care if Eagle is pissed off at this point and will happily fire him if he phones his performance. Next two matches to be booked were the semi-main and main event tag matches. On Joe / Silencer vs. Predators, I have wanted to try Logan and Hangman together for some time in order to check any potential chemistry notes but haven´t found a right place for that. A loss here shouldn´t hurt them too much while also advances the storyline between Joe and Predators and hopefully helps both Logan and Hangman to gain more than the minimum two points of popularity in order to push them up to that 17 earlier (there´s bit limited options to make them look strong until they got there). As for the main event, I was thinking about having Smooth defend his belt, perhaps against feuding pair on a three-way but since I already booked Eagle and Joe on other matches, I decided against it and will likely have that match next month. I was thinking about having DeMarcus face Smooth but in the end, decided to go with tag match instead for two reasons. 1) It allows me to book Whittaker on the show and 2) it helps Garry and Nate to gain tag experience which is the goal for them at the moment. Loss to Fun Police there wasn´t likely the best build-up for them, but Smooth and Whittaker should be big enough names that it shouldn´t hurt them that much and they don´t really have rival team at this point anyway so no need to push them super strong ar the moment. That said, while they already a top tag team by just being a tag team (since there is no other teams at the moment), I do want to make sure that they would win most tag matches they are in, afterall, what use it is for them to be a team if they do worse than some random pairings (minus occasional loss to two main event level guys as was the case here)? The fourth match was just there to give Borgomeo and Hurakan an occasional win. I picked them over Jazz and Night because both Jazz and Night have negative relationship with someone else in the roster (O´Hara for Jazz and Cobra for Night) and since Jazz and Night are by far the less important persons on those feuding pairs, they might be on the cutting block for that reason. Without those negative ralationships I would likely have gone the other way as Borgomeo and Hurakan aren´t likely to get enough wins to not tank their momentum thanks to Hangman and Wolfsbaine being associated with Cobra and Drury potentially gaining popularity from FCW which leaves Hurakan and Borgomeo to eat all the pins. It´s also worth noting that Jazz Funk was bit unhappy about the loss but I did go with the wanted result anyway. Also, Freedom Eagle was unhappy about booking of his match but you all know what I think about Eagle for now so obviously I did go with my originals plans.</p><p> </p><p> With Eagle phoning his perfomance, I did do what I said I do which is to tell him that he´s wortless and then fired him at the spot after the show. On more positive note, I did compliment Silencer for first ever C- rated performance and similarly gave Queen a praise for his C- angle. I would have wanted to praise Smooth as well but his gotten most praise out from the three and I needed to yell Eagle in order to make my point clear for rest of the locker room. The backstage stuff didn´t end there either as Dana O´Hara decided to muddy the waters a bit more and him bad mouthing Jazz has now given simmering tension between Jazz and four other wrestlers, namely Cobra, Garry The Entertainer, Outlaw Wes Revell and Kirk Drury. Well, that seals Jazz Funk´s fate as he´s not important enough to keep with so many backstage penalties, espesially with both Cobra and Garry being extremely positive presences backstage and Jazz not even being one. So, both Jazz Funk and Freedom Eagle are now out from ESE as a result and I need to find two names to will their shoes. No-one cared about Eagle and both O´Hara and Drury told me that firing Jazz was the right decision. To be fair, I´m not happy about firing Jazz and this might play into replacing O´Hara in long terms but we have to see if this affects to O´Hara later on. As for the other four guys that were against Jazz, this episode won´t have any future effects for them.</p><p> </p><p> main event: Smooth: 27, Queen: 24, , Silencer: 24 </p><p> upper midcard: DeMarcus: 18, Seth: 19 , Joe: 19, </p><p> midcard: Cobra: 17, Garry: 18, Revell: 18, Drury:18, Whittaker: 18</p><p> lower midcard: Deuce: 16, Hurakan: 17, Hangman: 16</p><p> Opener: Night: 13, Wolfsbaine: 12</p><p> Enchantment talent: Borgomeo: 8</p><p> </p><p> Finally Seth ain´t in the main event! Well, ok, he will likely be back once I sign replaments for Eagle and Jazz but I take my victories were I can. On positive side, Joe gained a popularity point which wasn´t really expected so nice that it happened. Also, Garry gained a point from the main event loss and so did Whittaker (well he was on winning side but still). Also, Drury gained a point by kicking Eagle out from company so that´s another plus. Hurakan, Hangman and Wolfsbaine all got three points as well while Borgomeo gained four so at least my popularity gains were pretty darn good this time. Oh, and about the product thing, forgot the check it at first with the surprise roster shuffle but now that I checked it, RIPW isn´t considered my rival any more so (guessing it´s because they are regional now although that happened in August so guess I was just late to notice it <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/redface.png.900245280682ef18c5d82399a93c5827.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />) I´m mostly losing just one level (usually to GSW but also IPW on broadcast quality) which is much more manageable cap to get even at least on some areas so we might need to look those up in the future. At the moment, I still think we stay were we are since we are gaining popularity with current shows and are still losing money. Speaking of losing money, we lost another 2 217$ this month, not too bad considering that everyone except Dustin Deuce was on the card.</p></div><p></p><p></p>

I also wouldn't be surprised to see Garry the Entertainer be a solid champion either. So that's four guys I prefer over Queen. Anti-Queen rant over. <img alt=":p" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/tongue.png.ceb643b2956793497cef30b0e944be28.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /><p> </p><p> Darryl Borgomeo is a bloody cool name. he seems to be a decent talent too with an E performance even with how low his pop is, not much behind the highly touted Logan Wolfsbaine. I could see Borgomeo be a champ in ESE.</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> Smooth won´t have a long run as he´s main problem is that he already have feuded recently against any face who I could really see challenging for the belt (expect one new signing that happens after next show). Queen certainly ain´t as good as Smooth or Silencer but he is still considered as top 3 guy and has been build up quite much so far so don´t be suprised if he gets the belt back soon, although I do admit that he´s getting the push mostly because I just decided to give one to him rather than him doing anything to really earn it. </p><p> </p><p> As for other two you mentioned, Cobra is certainly someone who I plan to push into main event scene. Garry on the other hand will likely stay as tag guy for next few years as the plan is to use Fun Police as backbone on eventual tag division and it might take bit of time before the division is even formed. Also, Garry´s alt does hold him back a bit as I have hard time seeing him as main eventer (I generally don´t rate comedy characters past midcard role and it´s hard to see Garry as anything else). That said, on one of my earliest diaries, I remember using Chuck Frisby of all people as one of my main heels and I have thought about potentially turning Garry heel as I feel that he could make a good creepy heel. So basically my idea is him sounding happy and all but then when he asks from the monkey what he should do the answer would be something along the "let´s kill everyone" (well, not that far maybe but you get the idea) thus painting him more as dangerous lunatic who thinks it´s fun to hurt people instead of the current happy-go-lucky character. That said, only time will tell if I ever pull trigger on that and it´s almost certainly multiple years away at best. </p><p> </p><p> As for Darryl, I doubt he would be champ at least on his current run and the reason for that is that with several lower card heels getting a bit of a push at the moment, Darryl simply doesn´t have an opening to win matches and losing all the time will likely hurt his momentum too badly. That said, I said the same thing on Garry so there´s always a chance.</p><p> </p><p> Roster Moves:</p><p> </p><p> Guys Leaving:</p><p> </p><p> <img alt="ETtXsFn.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/ETtXsFn.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> Justice Jolson</p><p> Age: 29</p><p> Record (in ESE): 11 - 1 - 8</p><p> Average match Rating (in ESE): -</p><p> Jolson´s contract did run out between November and December and with him stil being employed by GSW, I wasn´t going to resign him for obvious reasons. Jolson´s match history in GSW this year is 0 - 1 - 6 with average match rating being D so he´s gotten decent amount of matches but is still on jobber status. Overall, I´d say he haven´t lost anything by dropping us as while he´s win - loss record would be better if he stayed, he´s gaining more exposure is GSW anad likely gains more popularity since AI doesn´t seem to run into same popularity problems that I do. Not much else to say here expect that I´m kind of happy that he´s finally gone. Not because I would have wanted to get rid of him but because I have been quite embarrassed by the fact that he´s still auto-pushes as upper midcarder despite my best effort to push guys on my current roster. Then again, Seth has a year left on his contract and he auto pushes as main eventer still so my embarrasing lack of success is likely to continue all the way to end of 2019 anyway. <img alt=":o" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/redface.png.900245280682ef18c5d82399a93c5827.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> </p><p> </p></div><p></p><p></p>

Booking wise, lets take the main one down first, which is the main event. Now I´m usually fan of short title reigns and something between 7 - 9 defenses are usually the norm so why take a belt off from Queen so early? It actually doesn´t have anything to do with ratings as while Queen haven´t performed as well as Smooth and Silencer, I just can´t have those two have the belt all the time so someone else needs to carry it occasionally. The main reason reason for quick change is that I feel that there´s need to occasionally break your typical booking habits in order to not become too predictable. Not that there´s anything bad on being predictable, it just means you making logical bookings but I do feel that a surprise every now and then is needed in order to keep things fresh and interesting. This loss also ain´t the end for this particular storyline as this one will continue further but talking about those plans will have to wait a bit. That said, Queen was unhappy about the clean loss but when you work with me you win some and you lose some (unless you are a jobber in which case you won´t win much <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/tongue.png.ceb643b2956793497cef30b0e944be28.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />). The next match that I booked were actually the tag match with Fun Police, mainly because I wanted to make sure I had a spot for them. Now, I know the name is bit stubit but that´s exactly what I wanted it to be as I feel it works for the pair and their current gimmicks. Next two matches were the first two singles matches and yes, I did give Freedom Eagle a win. My reasoning being that with Drury being on 15 popularity, he would still gain points even while losing so there was no reason to put him over Eagle quite yet (guess who´s going to win the match next month <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/tongue.png.ceb643b2956793497cef30b0e944be28.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />) while Eagle would be unlikely to phone his performance when he actually wins so I felt it was decently safe bet to advance the storyline this way. Revell got win over Deuce, mainly just because I felt that the other two guys in this feud should have a match too. The last match on the card was the six man tag match, which was there to give Predators some momentum while also advancing the storyline thanks to Joe being on opposide team. Now these bookings did left Silencer and Whittaker out from the show, not something I´m perfectly happy about but they just happened to be the odd ones out. In general, seeing in-ring days less often is something that will typically happen to any top guys who ain´t in the storylines, espesially when I want to try to keep them strong and thus try to avoid giving them too many losses like is the case with both Silencer and Whittaker. I praised Smooth (how could I not?), Queen (despite not having particularly great performance, he still did fine for his standards even if he was unhappy about the result) and Wolfsbaine (E+ ain´t nothing special but it´s pretty much the grade you need to get if you want me to consider you being above jobber status so getting there so early without help from popularity promises good things). It wouldn´t had been wrong to praise Cobra as well but he was just praised and is fairly happy at the moment anyway so I decided to give nobs to Queen and Logan instead. Also note worthy that on a card were every undercard wrestler appeared, Eagle had the worst rating despite being on the winning side. I´m sure his heavy morale penalty has something to do with it, but still.</p><p> </p><p> main event: Smooth: 27, Queen: 24, Seth: 19, Silencer: 24 </p><p> upper midcard: Jolson: 18, DeMarcus: 18, Revell: 18, Joe: 18, </p><p> midcard: Cobra: 17, Deuce: 16, Eagle: 17, Garry: 17, Drury:17, Whittaker: 17</p><p> lower midcard: Hurakan: 14, Funk: 14, Night: 13, Hangman: 13</p><p> Opener: Borgomeo: 4, Wolfsbaine: 9</p><p> </p><p> Not much change on popularity front, everyone below 17 got the usual 2 - 3 points and no changes otherwise. On finances side, I continue to leak money by losing 1 386$ this month. On more interesting news, few big contracts are ending this month, namely Austin Smooth, Quentin Queen and Bret Graveson, all three being pretty important parts of the roster. Much to my surprise, Smooth was still happy with 500$ per show (same than he makes now) so I thanked him by removing travel costs (it pays to be loyal to me, doesn´t it? <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/tongue.png.ceb643b2956793497cef30b0e944be28.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />) and giving him another three year contract. Queen on the other hand, wanted a raise with 700$ per show (was 600$ before) being his new asking prize. That´s not same kind of steal than with Austin but it´s still fair prize espesially without travel costs so I agreed on another three year deal for him as well. Bret Graveson actually lowered his wage demand on 500$ per show (used to be 700$) so I quickly offered another three year contract and removed the travel costs because I´m so nice guy (darn I feel dirty doing so espesially when they already offer me good prize even with travel included). All three accepted their contract offers. </p></div><p></p><p></p>

That said, he was never in any danger to break out from the jobber ranks as he´s personal in-ring performance never got past E- mark and he didn´t get many changes on showing what he could do on microphone either (not that he´s skills promise any greatness on there either). Overall, I was reasonable happy with Mortimer and him leaving is more because I want to fresher the roster a bit rather than him doing anything wrong. Also, with Mortimer leaving, that means that half of the original roster of eight is now gone and that´s a landmark on it´s own (well, again, technically Jolson and Seth are still here) although not necessarily one I wanted to have this early. Despite not being on time decline yet, I don´t foresee much chance on Mortimer coming back so this is likely last you see him in this diary outside of the alumni posts.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> New Signings:</p><p> </p><p> <img alt="afr75F7.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/afr75F7.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> Darryl Borgomeo</p><p> Age: 21</p><p> Popularity in USA: F-</p><p> Heel, Biker</p><p> As Darryl´s alt will no doubt tell, he´s regen of Johnny Martin. His in-ring and performance scouts as strong while Physican and Entertainment are both average. He´s average playing face and strong playing heel and is good locker room influence. And that´s pretty much all I know about him other than the fact that he have had two matches on independent scene, beating Natalie DiMarco on E- rated match in Septemper 2018 and then losing to Annihilus on F+ rated match a month later. So why hire him? Well, with Drury likely getting over simply by working with FCW and Wolfsbaine and Hangman being associated with Cobra and thus needing to stay decently strong, I´m quite certain that whoever replaces Mortimer ain´t going to get many wins so might as well hire untested rookie who can gain most out by just jobbing a few years while developing his skills. Another reason is that I wanted cheap talent and Darryl was willing to work with just 130$ per show (again, no travel cost either) so I decided to hire him for three years straight of the bat. Now, three years is likely year more than he should stay on momentum point of view but he´s cheap enough that I don´t mind whole lot and I always have room for guys who I don´t mind jobbing to other people. He´s changes on staying past the first three years are quite low though unless he somehow shoots up on the ranks similar than what Garry has done.</p><p> </p></div><p></p><p></p>

  21. Before I start I want to say big thanks for DAVEFAN95 on nominating this into diary of the month. I know the nomination happened a while ago but I wasn´t paying attention and only found out now. October 2018 Friday, week 3 ESE Eternal Storm San Juan High School (Puerto Rico) Attendance: 300 2 vs. 2 & vs. & Freedom Eagle & Dustin Deuce vs. Outlaw Wes Revell & Kirk Drury In a poor match, Kirk Drury and Outlaw Wes Revell defeated Dustin Deuce and Freedom Eagle in 8:29 when Outlaw Wes Revell defeated Freedom Eagle by submission. Notes: Eagle and Deuce have great chemistry together Performance: Eagle: E, Deuce: E, Revell: E+, Drury: E WINNERS: Outlaw Wes Revell & Kirk Drury by pinfall in 8:29 E+ 1 vs. 1 vs. Nate DeMarcus vs. Mad Dog Mortimer In a bout that had a decent reaction from the crowd but terrible wrestling, Nate DeMarcus defeated Mad Dog Mortimer in 6:28 by pinfall with a Snap Tackle. Notes: DeMarcus was off his game Performance: DeMarcus: E+, Mortimer: E- WINNER: Nate DeMarcus by pinfall in 6:28 E ANGLE: After his match, DeMarcus calls Garry into the ring. Garry does answer the call and DeMarcus tells Garry that they worked together really well last month and Garry felt like a friendly, fun loving person so he suggest that he and Garry should form a permanent team as it´s always more fun to have friends around. Garry agrees that it would be cool to have more friends than just his monkey but before he agrees, he needs to know if he´s monkey can join. Nate tells that of course the monkey can join, after all, the more the merrier right and hey, maybe the monkey could be their manager? Garry thinks that´s a great idea and the pair... or trio, goes backstage together chatting lively while they go. D ANGLE: Before his match, Regular Joe comes into ringside and address Predators, telling that he have beaten both Cobra and Hangman before and will now prove that he gan beat Logan as well. And if Cobra things that bringing some goons to help him would make Joe scared, he´s wrong as while he is just an ordinary men, it is usually the ordinary men and women who will rise on the occasion when needed. So, while the numbers will be against him, he will continue to fight against Predators and will show the same determination and skills that made him the first ever King of the Network champion. D 1 vs. 1 vs. Regular Joe vs. Logan Wolfsbaine In a bout that had decent wrestling but didn't have much heat, Regular Joe defeated Logan Wolfsbaine in 7:51 by pinfall with a Joe And Behold. Notes: - Performance: Joe: D-, Logan: E+ WINNER: Regular Joe by pinfall in 7:51 D- 2 vs. 2 & vs. & Jules Night & Jazz Funk vs. Austin Smooth & Whitehorse Whittaker In a poor match, Austin Smooth and Whitehorse Whittaker defeated Jules Night and Jazz Funk in 8:04 when Austin Smooth defeated Jazz Funk by submission with a Smooth Hold. In terms of in-ring work, Austin Smooth was head and shoulders above everyone else. Notes: Funk was off his game Performance: Night: E, Funk: E-, Smooth: D+, Whittaker: D- WINNERS: Austin Smooth & Whitehorse Whittaker by submission in 8:04 D- 1 vs. 1 vs. 1 for King of the Network belt vs. vs. Quentin Queen vs. The Silencer vs. Cobra In a decent match, Quentin Queen defeated Cobra and The Silencer in 14:37 when Quentin Queen defeated Cobra by pinfall with a Q-Ball. Quentin Queen makes defence number 2 of his ESE King of the Network title. Notes: Performance: Queen: D, Silencer: D+ Cobra: D WINNER: Quentin Queen by pinfall in 14:37 D+ Show Rating: E+ Comments: I decided to back bit more into this show than usual with 5 matches and three angles (was supposed to be three angles since there was ment to be an angle between Smooth and Queen after the main event were Smooth would tell that he cashes the rematch clause at next show but I forgot to book it thus not advancing the main storyline at all... idiot!), mainly because I want to give all of my guys exposure and some of them aren´t currently used all that much. I probably could extent the show for half an hour but that would mean extra expenses so right now, I´m staying with 1h shows mainly because it actually allows me to have longer shows anyway if I so decide. Crowd also expected more angles on the show... yeah no comments. Other than my incompotence on following notes (quite salty on myself about missing that angle), I wanted Queen to get another good quality title defence under his belt before facing Smooth again. Smooth´s tag match was last addition on this card and was mainly done to give other three members bit of in-ring time, Smooth just happened to be available and was thrown in mostly in hopes that he would drag the rating up a bit (it was semi-main event after all). Other than that, job Freedom Eagle tour continued, this time with a tag loss and I really hoping he no-selled that match on purpose so I can get rid of him. And yes, I know I could get rid of him at any rate but I like to be fair so as long as he doesn´t have backstage incitend that warrants contract termination or clearly hurt the match ratings on purpose he´s staying on board. The problem is that he´s on a storyline (I´m really cursing myself on putting him there) and I don´t really want to end it as I feel that Revell needs to win a storyline (after all, why would anyone hire him if he just keeps losing?) but on the same time, I cannot trust Eagle to behave and thus I´m unwilling to make plans past the current show so right now (meaning it´s hard to do any set-up angles for bigger match or really to have any type of coherent storyline). This has curretly created a pattern were Revell have beaten (or distracted and caused a loss that way) Eagle each and every show and that just doesn´t do much storyline wise. Speaking of storylines, Joe and Logan made the obvious clash after last month´s attack this show, I was considering waiting a bit for that but decided that a) Logan doesn´t have enough popularity to be creditable threat to Joe right now and b) Cobra is still the main opponent for Joe so no need to milk a match against guy who´s essentially a henchman. DeMarcus against Mortimer was mainly there for the post show angle but also I´m hoping that DeMarcus could potentially get a point of overness by beating Morty. As for who to compliment after the show, I knew I wanted to compliment Joe as D is better than normal for his angles and the match was pretty good undercard match as well (ok, so Logan is pretty solid opponent but still). Other two were slighly harder but I decided to go with Queen and Cobra even though Smooth and Silencer did better and the main reason is that Smooth and Silncer are expected to be the top two every night and I praise them a lot already so wanting to give some other guys love as well. Both DeMarcus and Logan also worked well here and looks like they are able to fill the spots I planned for them, Deuce managing an E personal grade is also note worthy as is the fact that Eagle behaved once again. main event: Smooth: 27, Queen: 24, Seth: 19, Silencer: 24 upper midcard: Jolson: 18, DeMarcus: 18, Revell: 18, Joe: 18, midcard: Cobra: 17, Eagle: 17, Garry: 17, Drury:15, Mortimer: 16, Whittaker: 17 lower midcard: Deuce: 14, Hurakan: 12, Funk: 12, Hangman: 11 Opener: Night: 11, Wolfsbaine: 6 Smooth gained 4 points but don´t think for a second that has anything to do with my show, he did defeated Kentucky Bill in FCW which is the reason for this popularity jump, still nice to see progress even if I can´t claim any credit from that. DeMarcus did gain a point by beating Mortimer who lost one point but that´s the only positive gain there was outside of the usual "guys with less than 17 getting two points by default " (well, Night got three so guess that´s another positive). On the plus side, Mortimer losing popularity was the only loss as well so ok results overall I guess, I´m just slighly disappointed that Cobra didn´t gain anything from the three way, perhaps he would had if he wasn´t the one getting pinned? Cobra does the talking for the trio, telling audience that he has been a loner for all his life and that´s what he would prefer as snakes need no company, but nature often forces you to adapt into differend conditions or becoming extinct and that´s what he´s doing here. You see, he did thought that Regular Joe was done for, that he had been beaten and that all that was needed was to give a mercy kill but he failed to do that as when cornered, even less dangerous creatures could put up a big fight. So, while pontering his loss he has come into conclusion that while snakes do prefer to work alone, he needs to set that aside and steal a page from books of other predators like wolfs and lions who always hunt in packs. For that end, he started to search other likely minded souls, fellow predators who are hungry for success and he did found two. For this day forward, the trio will be known simply as Predators because that´s what they are, and they declare hunting season to open with Regular Joe being their first prey. D+</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> Show Rating: E+</p><p> </p><p> Comments: Well, we still got the same E+ even though our matches weren´t great. Booking wise, the firs thing I booked on this was the Revell vs. Eagle match which I very much expected to be Eagle´s last as I expect him to no-sell again and plan to call him out on a post show and fire him after I have told him he couldn´t sell ice cream in Sahara with his selling skills but of course he decided to behave this show so I had no good reason to fire him and now I have to figure out what to do with him (also, American Elemental II who I planned to be the replament got signed into RIPW with development deal so it´s back to drawing board with this one). Eagle is still going to be out the next time he no-sells which I expect to happen soon but that just leaves the problem of what I do with the storyline between him and Revell since I can´t trust him to behave? Next match that was booked was the tag match as I wanted to check if Garry and Nate had any bad chemistry notes before pulling the trigger on them forming a team. At first I planned it to be dark match with Hangman and Wolfsbaine as opponents. Garry and Nate would have won thanks to them having higher popularity and that´s the main reason why I planned it to be a dark match as I felt it would hurt Predators if they instantly lose to essentially a random pairing. However, in the end, I decided to put the tag match into main show instead and replace Hangman and Wolfsbaine as whatever they have chemistry or not wouldn´t really affect my plans with them that much anyway. I also decided that I wanted Cobra to form his group straight at this show and that Logan should attack Joe in order to set a 1 vs. 1 match between the two soon (Logan and Hangman should had been also added into the storyline between Cobra and Joe but I forgot, they were added after the show). Opponents for Joe and in the tag match weren´t that important other than I knew that the three guys who were there were the ones I wanted to take the losses. Oddly enough, the main event (and the angle afterwards) was the last segments that I put into this card which is bit unusual but that´s just how the show worked with DeMarcus and Wolfsbaine´s addition into roster inspiring me to figure a way to debut them first while Eagle´s bad behavior made me to figure a way to wrap up the storyline so I can kick him out. Anyway, the main event itself was basically "the first defence" match so not much chance on title change there. Whitthorse was chosen as the opponent mainly by progress of elimination as since that match was a main event, it needed to be decently over performer and out of the four main heels, Revell was already on the card, Queen has simmering tension with Cobra (plus loss there wouldn´t be particularly impressive right after forming a new group) while Austin is the current feud partner and they just fought in last show so basically Whitthorse was the most logical opponent I could put there. I praised Revell, Queen and Smooth at the end, Revell for draging Eagle into watchable match and Queen and Smooth for their angle mainly because no-one else didn´t to anything above their current standards. Also, after the show I found out that Jazz Funk and Dana O´Hara don´t come along all that well, this is bad news for Funk as he´s more expentable out from the two.</p><p> </p><p> Popularity check time again:</p><p> main event: Smooth: 23, Queen: 24, Seth: 19, Silencer: 24 </p><p> upper midcard: Jolson: 18, Revell: 18, Joe: 18, Whittaker: 17</p><p> midcard: Cobra: 17, Eagle: 17, Garry: 17, Drury:13, Mortimer: 17, DeMarcus: 17</p><p> lower midcard: Deuce: 12, Hurakan: 12, Funk: 10, Hangman: 11</p><p> Opener: Night: 8, Wolfsbaine: 4</p><p> </p><p> Can I note that I´m really starting to get tired of seeing Seth still on main event push despite him not tecnically working for us for bit over six month´s now? Sure way to make everyone realize that I´m not getting anywhere with popularity gains, isn´t it? Also, Smooth, Queen and Silencer being so far above anyone else makes me slighly uneasy as well since one loss to someone else would likely send them spiraling down all the way to 17 popularity while only benefiting point or two for the winner, thus essentially meaning that I shoudn´t put anyone over them unless I want to lose rest of the meager progress that I have managed to make. That aside, nothing really happened elsewhere with Drury and Hurukan being only ones that gained anything and those were pretty much given. Oh well, it´s not like I expected any popularity gains on this one either so no harm done. We also got more backstage troubles between this and next show as apperantly Jules Night and Cobra ain´t liking each other´s anymore... yeah, guess who´s going to leave is things turn sour (hint, it ain´t Cobra). On finances, it´s yet another 1219$ loss but at least we are managing ot keep the losses around 1000 - 2000$ range instead of the 3000 - 4000$ that they were not too long ago. On contract news, Mortimer´s contract is coming into end after next show and I don´t plan to offer him another one so his three year stay with us is at the end while on happier contract news, Kirk Drury got and signed and contract offer from FCW, potentially helping his career with us too (assuming they remember to use him every now and then.)</p><p> </p></div><p></p><p></p>

I guess we'll have to wait and see what he can do but I do have a feeling you might need to get heels other than Smooth to fight him cause right now, nobody is putting on a D+ match with him except Smooth, Cobra could probably get close though. <p> </p><p> Do think letting Seth go would be a pretty good idea if you can't use him. Then using the money you would be spending on him to get somebody talented and over to be a main event heel. Maybe you go get talent who were in your old ESE diary in Doug Peak or C.H Threepwood, though they could be expensive. </p><p> </p><p> Good signings as well, Logan can be a fine worker and Nate has potential. I'd look more at Logan then Nate to be a future star though.</p></div></blockquote><p> </p><p> Ratings will certainly be worse with Queen as champ than with Smooth but the problem with Smooth is that he has already feuded with Joe and Silencer recently so outside of turns or hiring new guys, there´s really no-one for him to feud with after this one and that´s why belt was moved. </p><p> </p><p> Now I know Silencer would have been better option as next champion rating wise, but I specifically picked Puerto Rico as the area to avoid regional battles and thus giving me little bit more freedom to book the way I want (although those production penalties have made me be little bit more aware on ratings than before, hence the new signings) instead of always having to pick the option that gives best grades and Queen has been booked pretty strong so far (being one of the original top 3 alongside Joe and Smooth) so it makes sense to have him beat Smooth story wise even if ratings take a bit of a hit because of that.</p><p> </p><p> Keeping Seth doesn´t actually cost anything to me since he´s p.p.a and he´s not used so I wouldn´t safe any money by firing him. I probably could use another top heel but at least currently I´m not looking to add guys as I´m quite happy with current group (I´m currently at the end of 2018 and there´s still bit of roster shakeup ahead between now and end of the year so the roster is slighly differend than the one you see right now). Whittaker and Cobra are the two I´m currently looking to feud with Queen once the feud with Smooth is over. I know Queen vs. Whittaker ain´t going ot be great rating wise but I feel that it would still be serviable feud.</p><p> </p><p> Logan is almost certainly going to be bigger star in the future once he catches up on popularity but at least currently I feel tha Nate is going to be important piece as well, although more likely on the the tag team side rather than singles star.</p>
