While Ramone got signed simply because of his one shot use on last show, he was someone who I actually looked on original roster as well, partly because he had been doing well in Voeltzwagon´s AAW diary and partly because he´s in Puerto Rico so there´s no travel cost. Ramone is also familiar to me from earlier diary but he was just a jobber there and will unfortunately be likely to either have the same role or to be midcard guy at best. This is mainly do to him being cruiserweight and airial skills being less effective with my product but he gets a decent chance to at least fight for number three face spot against Seth Whitehead and will likely get some storylines going forward even though he´s more likely to be in the losing end when all is said and done. Ramone wanted 600$ per show, which is bit much but he doesn´t have travel expenses which evens it out a bit. He got a one year deal. Ramone gets to use his default gimmick as it´s different enough for the other three main faces. Also, after looking creative meeting, I found out that game actually states that Ramone is show stopper and ring general (Regular Joe being the only other one who´s on those categories) and that might well mean good things for him as I do rate ring generals highly but we have to wait and see were he´s career go with me.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> <img alt="xv97ilD.jpg" data-src="https://i.imgur.com/xv97ilD.jpg" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p><p> Rex Reeves</p><p> Age: 36</p><p> Popularity in USA: F</p><p> Heel, Evil Doer</p><p> Reeves ain´t going to be anything else than a jobber here, but he´s reasonable cheap with 400$ per show demand and while I´m certainly not hurting on cash after giving myself the million dollar bank, I still like to at least pretend that I´m on tight budjet and thus try to sign cheap guys for now. Like Ramone, Reeves got a one year deal. He gets Evil Doer gimmick mainly because that´s kind of how I see him, villanous but not a major level one and likely won´t ne in many storylines so there likely won´t be much character development for him. Reeves is also in time decline (somehow Mortimer isn´t) and considering his stats aren´t great to begin with it doesn´t promise good things. Luckily, it´s only early state and he´s not on my long term plans either so it won´t affect too much, just makes it even less likely for him to get a push (which was close to non-existent to begin with). </p><p> </p></div><p></p><p></p>
  2. <p><strong>Trey Tallman</strong> v ???</p><p> <em>No idea yet were this Tallman angle is going but based on his first match back, I assume he´s going to start winning now and guess that the mystery man is a jobber perhaps in a one night only contract.</em></p><p> </p><p> League of Tag Teams Match</p><p> Dick & Morty (Mortimer Pyle & Felix Harding) v <strong>Forces of Dude (Fuzzy Freeman & Jesse Tasman)</strong></p><p> <em>Both teams have had win and two losses and don´t seem to be in the picture when talking about potential winning teams. Bit of a coin flip based on previous results but I go with Forces of Dude just because I feel that they are more coherent unit.</em></p><p> </p><p> League of Tag Teams Match</p><p> Music Mash (DJ Panther & Lerone Slim) v <strong>Sturt & HoBoo (Vance Sturt & HoBoo)</strong></p><p> <em>Sturt and HoBoo have to lose soon if you want other teams still having a shot at the last round of the tournament. Now one or the other could happen but I still view Grace as the safe pick here so I go with him.</em></p>

Joe simply is more established at this point than the other two top guys and unlike Smooth and Queen, he isn´t expected to stay on top so I felt I need to give him a push early on. Joe is also known in Puerto Rico because of his FCW stint and while that doesn´t give him any on-game bonuses, I feel that´s a reasonable excuse to put the belt on him first even if guy named Regular Joe ain´t the most marketable champion, but then again, on local company does it really matter? </p><p> </p><p> As for me making mistakes (trust me, it´s never going to stop), the reason Ramone was on the show is that I completely missed the fact that Kid Fantastic is injured and thus not able to have a match... yeah, I should be more careful on that. Ramone and Darkness Warrior were only two local wrestlers who I could sign to fill the spot so I signed Ramone for one night deal to eat the pin against Cobra. That said, I hate having guys for just one night and had plans to sign two extra guys soon anyway (mainly to give bit more booking options) so I decided to do it now and Ramone is one of the two guys gettign a contract. I had plans on bringing him into starting roster but his cruiserweight style is a bit of a bad fit for my product and that kept me from signing him originally. Other than that mishap, I was happy about the show. I complimented Smooth (best performance this night), Ramone (saved my ass by coming in on last second and had a decent match too) and Cobra (E+ is his best rating during matches and had a nice angle with Queen too). On finances side, we lost another 4 981$ and that will no doubt increase increase next month with two new guys added to roster. </p></div><p></p><p></p>

I don´t really have good explanation of why, but it just doesn´t work for me. Now, I know there´s plenty good reason to do so (needing a jobber for one night or having someone go over older well known guy who really isn´t good enough to have any long term value anymore being the two most obvious ones I could think) and I don´t mind other´s doing it, but I personally avoid that as much as I can since I believe that a well build roster shouldn´t need outside help on anything. Lucas Danger is out from the company after wrestling waisted for the second month on the row and you won´t be seeing him again, he did improve his behavior though but that´s too little too late. I complemented Smooth (giving us the best rated match while wrestling the hazard that is Lucas), Queen (for turning a good performance in losing effort to less popular guy, I did use keep him strong note but still nice to see that he was willing to take the pin) and Whitehead (better performance than last month and decent promo with Smooth as well). On the booking side, another surprise on Queen not being on finals either (pretty sure Queen vs. Smooth would have been the expected final if I asked who you would expect to see in the finals). Reasoning being the same than with Smooth, I just feel that Queen needs a bit more time in the business before I´m happy to put a belt on him. Also, while Smooth and Queen are part of the "top three", I´d like to keep them apart from each other´s and Joe for now so hence all three of them will be feuding with member of my "second three" (or midcard guys whichever you want to call them) for now. He then continued awful night by having awful on his gimmick rating. Not the best way to start with new company but Mortimer isn´t important and can be easily replaced so not a big worry. Bigger problem was that Danger was wasted on drugs, I keep him for now (gave him a fine which didn´t result into anything) since I don´t think I have anyone else that works as cheap to replace him but I won´t tolerate that for long and that pretty much cuts any chances on him being resigned after current contract ends (assuming he even stays that long which is unlikely as I´m likely just going to cut him at next offence). We also didn´t have enough interesting storylines , mostly because I only had two, Seth vs. Smooth and the top 4 tournament guys and the tournament one actually didn´t have anything going for this show. And yes, I know I said I have three at any time and that will be true after the tournament. I actually originally made the three starting storylines I wanted and then realized that two of them wouldn´t go anywhere until like third show so decided to get the tournament out of the way first and simply made a second storyline with top 4 guys from the tournament. Unfortunately, I failed to actually progress the storyline here so that´s a mistake on my part. I complimented Smooth, Joe and Jolson after the show. Smooth and Joe got one for their good performance and Jolson is more of just thanks for working with that wasted idiot award (I would had otherwise complimented Queen instead). On the plus side, the trio of top guys (Smooth, Joe and Queen) performed well and Cobra, Joslin and Seth didn´t give any problems either so everyone actually important performed at least alright. </p><p> </p><p> As for booking perspective, I´m sure having Smooth lose on the first round raised some eyebrowns as he was probably the most likely guy to be the champ. My reasoning for that is that I´d like my champions to be slighly more seasoned veterans than what Smooth currently is and thus decided to wait a bit before pulling the trigger on him. I also normally have one feud starting in first show by one of the guys costing a tournament match for the other (either by outright winning a match or with run-in) and in this case it was Seth and Austin that got that particular storyline. Other than that little surprise, I´d assume most of the rest of the show did go about what anyone could expect with Lucas and Mad Dog losing and with Seth vs. Cobra being a bit of a toss up that was decided on the fact that I needed second heel in the semi-finals (could have been interesting to see how predictions would have gone on that one as the Smooth vs. Queen match was likely to throw some off). I did introduce Regular Joe as well here with a generic hi I´m Joe promo just to establish his gimmick and character a bit since the way I present the matches doesn´t allow much character development on that front, meaning that I need to do those in angles. </p><p> </p><p> Also, like I said in my opening post, I found out that the finances don´t quite work on my favor as I was - 5,109$ on depth after first month while sponsor money was 366$ and is estimated to be 536$ next month so... yeah, even if I cut O´Hara and Reese and have off months, I´m not going to be out from depth so I decided to go on easy mode instead and gave myself 1 000 000$ on bank. Yeah, I know, that´s way more than I need but I decided that if I´m going to cheat, I might as well give myself enough money to not to have to care about costs too much. I will still try to get as close to profit as I can so I won´t just start signing guys and spending money but this at least gives me enough so that I can have fun instead of needing to care about every penny. In future, I might decide to cut million of my cash once I´m profitable (if that will ever happen) and can affort to lose that money but not certain on that either. I did minus my lost money from first month from the million so current balance is 994 891$. Sigh, I´m not particularly happy about this but it´s better than killing this project after just one show so I take it. On the plus side, this means I can run a show every month and thus use a schedule that I´m most comfortable with.</p></div><p></p><p></p>
  9. <p>League of Tag Teams Match</p><p> <strong>Forces of Dude (Fuzzy Freeman & Jesse Tasman)</strong> v Music Mash (DJ Panther & Lerone Slim)</p><p> <em>Slim somehow managed to have F as his match grade (though he had E month before so maybe there´s some reason to that?) and that doesn´t promise particularly good things for him. And no, I don´t think that they will win purely on merit but I could see them winning by DQ just like last time as Sturt have employed Party People as run-ins and that´s likely going to backfire at some point.</em></p><p> </p><p> League of Tag Teams Match</p><p> D'n'B (D-Pod & Francis Burke) v <strong>The Australian Party People (Marcus Kerr & Matt Stoppard)</strong></p><p> <em>Ok, so looks like I rated D´n´B slighly too high last round, after that angle and match last month, I could actually see them losing to everyone else (and being last in the tournament), only to beat Entourage in the last round and cost them the tournament victory in the progress.</em></p><p> </p><p> League of Tag Teams Match</p><p> Dick & Morty (Mortimer Pyle & Felix Harding) v <strong>The Soul Collectors (Bile & Eraser)</strong></p><p> <em>Collectors don´t have another match this month so I´m still picking them even if that DQ loss makes me question my earlier opinion on them being the most likely winners on this tournament.</em></p><p> </p><p> <strong>Black Flash</strong> v Quick Silver</p><p> <em>Wasp will likely play some factor here, whatever it´s by turning heel and attacking Silver or being used as distraction (video screen suddenly showing him in somekind of danger or something) or by managing to escape on his own and distracting Flash instead. I think one of the first two is more likely so I go with Flash winning here.</em></p><p> </p><p> No.1 Contender for YEPW Australian Title</p><p> Australian Devil v Jackson Slade</p><p> <em>I agree on HiPlus on this one plus setting this as no-contest (with Soul Collectors attacking both) allows an easy three way option between these two and Jester and that would play well with the new revelation about Devil´s past with no-one knowing for sure which side he is in.</em></p>
  10. Yeah, I kind of screwed the start as I didn´t realize how much this type of game had changed from TEW2013 and thought I could get away with the old one show a month, keep an off month when needed strategy (should really have waited for your diary to progress a bit but I was too impatient for that ). I did knew about announcer and road agent not being needed but thought I could get away from it as I was kind of tired to have to manually assign road agent on every match (done that a few times with my empty database runs) and a show without an announcer just doesn´t sound right to me. How I had managed to miss the lack of sponsor income for so long is a mystery to me but that certainly catched me offguard here. As for referee, there would had been few that could be signed for 400$ so I could had indeed safe about half of the money there too. Graveson is a great find with his locker room leader skill though and is decent enough referee too so certainly happy to have him now that money isn´t a real issue. I was also surprised by lack of really cheap wrestlers, no-one I looked wasn´t willing to work under 260$ and most demanded 400 - 500$ which I feel is bit too high for this kind of start, perhaps waiting few months for some fresh workers to appear would be better way to go in the future as I think the fact that almost everyone has at least F popularity around the USA is making the difference and foreign signings aren´t any cheaper with the travel costs adding up either.
  11. Thank you for your kind words guys, it´s good to be back. Before showing who I signed, it´s probably reasonable to tell the search criteria. Basically, I narrowed it down to to unknown guys (in USA) who are based on USA and are unemployed. Also I guess I should point out that I tend to give myself hiring restrictions on who I can sign, in this case, I decided that I can only use wrestlers based on USA that are unknown and are unemployed and this restriction will stay until I get to small. This is mainly since I like to work with slighly more shallow pool (forces me to be bit more creative with my choices) and it also makes getting my promotion up on size will feel more meaningful as it will open new hiring options for me. Now, on the downside, it does make progress a bit slower and likely escalates the popularity gain problem that I mentioned in the previous post, but this is how I like to work so I do it. I decided to take advantage on the fact that local promotions don´t have minimum number of wrestlers they need to hire (it used to be 12) and decided to start with just 8 mainly because I almost always start with the title tournament and 8 and 16 are the easiest number of starting wrestlers for that by far. Also, this hopefully means that I can make few extra signings later (assuming that the finaces allow me to do so), thus helping to keep things fresh slighly longer. Actually, I have always been interested on how other´s build their roster and while I said that this won´t be a diary where I talk about my decision progress, how about I still give you a run downon my whole decision making progress (or lack of it since it´s not that deep) on signing guys (yes, I know, second post in and I´m already chancing my mind, we are up to a promising start ). Oh well, here it is anyway: First of all, using the above criterias gave me the following guys to choose from: Annihilus, Austin Smooth, Barry Griffin, Ben Williams, Brimstone, Buck Graham, Buzz Reid, Cip Conduit, Cobra, Cowboy Buck Wincester, Crash Lewis, Desert Storm, Elijah Harris, Extreme Deluxe, Fearless Blue, Hardcore Killah, JOJI, Justice Jolson, Kid Fantastic, Lucas Danger, Mad Dog Mortimer, Mark Smart, Melvin Otto, Mercutio Sleep, Mercy Michaels, New York Red, Penfold Perdition, Quentin Queen, Ray Snow, Regular Joe, Remmy Honeyman, Rex Reeves, Richie Riggins, Ricky Turner, Ricochet Ramone, Roger Monteiro, Seth Whitehead, Steel, The Silencer, Whicky Jack and Vicky Victoria. Straight away, there´s quite a few names that jump out for me, either because of me booking them in one of my earlier games or because of me reading someone else´s diary. Austin Smooth is the first guy I look for (yes, I know, he´s kind of obvious and bit overused but there´s a reason for that too). He wanted 500$ per show which is a bit deep but he does have F+ popularity to warrant that request so I signed him instantly (3 year contract with 500$ per appearence) as my main heel. He just screams a cocky heel to me although looks like he has a new alt that doesn´t make that quite as obvious as the old one did (at least not for me). The second guy that I signed straight away is Cobra, he´s just one of those characters that I really like and he´s decent enough talent for local company to be more than a jobber and was quite cheap too with 300$ per show. I gave him two years contract and look so slot him behind Smooth as number two or three heel (depending who would get the last two heel spots). Next, I looked at few other guys that I could see being the top guys, namely Quentin Queen, Ricky Turner, Remmy Honeyman, Regular Joe and Ricochet Ramone. all of them wanted at least 600$ per show potentially making them quite expensive signings so I decided that I can´t affort more than one or two at max. Queen seems like most likely bet to become a lead star (on my opinion at least) so I gave him three year contract with the asking prize of 600$ per show. I then decided to look at if I could find some cheap jobber guys in order to try to figure out, if I can affort to drop more money on guys like Remmy or Joe (who would have good in-ring abilities but not much charisma, thus likely not making them as great fits for my product). I found out that most guys I´m interested on demand at least 300$ per show and with no idea of finances, I decided to try to keep the costs down for now and add more expensive guys later if finances allow me to do so. I first looked at Kid Fantastic but he wanted 400$ show so I passed. Lucas Danger on the other hand settled for 260$ per show so I gave him one year contract, frankly, he´s unlikely to be more than a jobber but at least he now has a place to hone his skills hopefully helping him to find work elsewhere if/when I cut him. Lucas is better as heel than face but will likely play face for me probably with some kind of underdog/fan´s own gimmick. It proved to be really hard trying to find guys willing to work for less than 400$ but I did manage to find two. First one is Mad Dog Mortimer... yeah, not a star for tomorrow that´s for sure but he make a fine heel jobber for now and is good backstage influence too. Mortimer was willing to work with 260$ per show and got a year contract. The other guy is slighly more intersting to me as Seth Whitehead was willing to work with 270$ per show so he will also get a year contract. Looking at the rest of the options, I decided to sign Justice Jolson for a year contract as he was willing to work for 400$ per show and then signed Regular Joe as my 2nd face behind Queen for 600$ per show (2 years). As for non-wrestlers, I signed Brett Graveson as my referee for 700$ show, mainly because he´s locker room leader and only referees cheaper than him weren´t very good at their jobs. As for road agent and announcer, I know they aren´t needed for local but I want to sign them anyway (likely a big mistake that I will regret later) so I signed Reese Page as road agent since she costed 700$ a show (Giant Redwood was the only other one I could find that demanded less than 1100$ but I don´t want any backstage troubles so I kept well clear from him) and Dana O´Hara as announcer (since the two cheaper options weren´t very good) for 800$ per show. Both got two year deals since I´m not sure if I want to keep them longterm or replace them once finances allow me to do so. So here´s a quick recap with who I signed and their aligment, gimmick and starting popularities: Quentin Queen Age: 22 Popularity in USA: E- Face, Blue Chipper Queen is going to be my main face going forward (or at least he gets the first chance for that) and hopefully will stay as important player while the company grows. I decided to go with the default gimmick as it worked pretty well for what I have in mind for him. Regular Joe Age: 26 Popularity in USA: F+ Face, Blue Collar Joe is by far my second most experienced guy (Mortimer being the most experienced one of course) and will be looked to fill not only number two face spot but also overall third top guy on the company and his veteran status will net him some benefits early on. However, unlike Queen and Smooth, I don´t expect Joe to stay on top and foresee on him moving more into midcard status once we grow and better talent becomes available. Still, even if he eventually fall from the main event scene, I would expect him to stay relevant midcard workhorse who can be expected to bring good match ratings as I always want few of those around. Seth Whitehead Age: 22 Popularity in USA: F Face, Bad Ass Seth is someone who I have no previous knowledge and who thus ranks behind Queen and Joe on the face side. Still, while number three face spot ain´t the greatest (after all there´s only one guy below him) it does mean he´s going to be part of storylines as I like to run three at any time meaning that top three on both face and heel side will pretty much be on the spotlight all the time and that gives Seth a chance to show his skills even if he´s more likely to be on the losing end of the feuds. I gave him a bad ass gimmick since that´s kind of what the alt scearms to me and with my top two faces being more of the Blue Collar side, it gives Seth a differend style and helps him stand out a bit. Lucas Danger Age: 21 Popularity in USA: F Face, Clubber Lucas starts with low popularity and airial skills being less great for my product doesn´t help his case. Based on his bio I would also assume that he´s not that great in-ring either (I´m playing with fog of war on so I don´t know for sure). All this means he ain´t likely going to be anything but a jobber and will likely be released at some point after his momentum tanks too low for salvage operation so don´t expect much from him. However, he will hopefully develop his skill set while looking arena lights and maybe that will help him be signed either by another company or me again later on. Austin Smooth: Age: 21 Popularity in USA: F+ Heel, Prima Donna. If Queen is my main face, then Smooth is the gyu who I look to be my main heel and like Queen, I´m hoping he will stay on top and grow with the company although I wouldn´t be too surprised if he eventually leaves to bigger company. I planned on using arrogant heel gimmick on him eventually but the default Prima Donna works just fine and is more or less the same thing in my mind so I just decided to keep the default one with him. Cobra Age: 25 Popularity in USA: F Heel, Snake Cobra will fight with Justice Jolson on the second heel spot, I initially rate him higher but that´s simply because I like his render and while that does help, he has to prove that he deserves the second top heel spot. I gave him a Snake gimmick, mainly planning him to be more of the cunning, cheating heel with Smooth having the arrogant one and Jolson being the brute force guy, thus gicing me a nice range of differend heels to work with. Justice Jonson Age: 27 Popularity in USA: F Heel, Strongman Jonson is by far my biggest guy, being big heavyweight while no-one else isn´t bigger than middleweight. That weight advantage makes him pretty much monster heel by default and I gave him a brute gimmick to back that up. Jonson will fight with Cobra on the second heel spot and only time will tell which one if either is going to get that spot. Still, like Cobra and Whitehead, he will get plenty of opportunities early on to show his skills thanks to three feuds running at any given time. Mad Dog Mortimer Age: 38 Popularity in USA: F Heel, Old School Heel Mortimer has the same fate than Lucas so count on him looking arena lights and don´t really expect much else from him. Still, he brings veteran presence in the locker room and should be good job guy down the bottom of the card. Non-wrestlers: Brett Graveson Age: 47 Popularity in USA: E+ Face, Staff member Dana O´Hara Age: 41 Popularity in USA: E- Face, Staff Member Reese O´Page Age: 40 Popularity in USA: E Face, Staff Member I don´t have much to say about non-wrestlers, ech can be expected to hold their jobs for at least until we get small with Graveson being likely kept as long as he stays do to him being locker room leader.
  12. Hello all. I have gotten itch for writing diaries again for sometime now and have actually done one of two failed attemps to get back (didn´t bother to post those since I failed to keep them up for more than few shows). Before I go any further, I want to say that I´m using WordPad instead of Word that I used on my earlier diaries and since WordPad doesn´t seem to have any spellcheck, I'm sure there´s going to be plenty of spelling mistakes on this diary (nothing new then since there always was those but it´s worse than usual so consider yourself warned). There won´t be any backstory since I´m no good at those, and while I thought about making a diary where I would discuss my decision making progress before each show, I just suck at this game so badly that it wouldn´t have anything else than a small comedy value of how someone can be so bad at this game. So instead, I will simply use same format than in most of my earlier diaries, posting a show and then commenting the show at the end of it, telling what I think went well and what didn´t and why I booked the way I did. There won´t be any prediction contest this time, mainly because I have already booked well ahead (full first year is done and written already) since I wanted to make sure that I´m committed enough for this one. So without further delay, here is the information of what the company is and why I made the choises I did make. My user character is Grand Avatar and user stats have 5 points on each of them. I have been hovering over what ever I want to start with cult level company or smaller one but in the end, I always backed out from cult level companies because me just not being comfortable with them so I decided to try 0/0/0/0 company again since that´s what I was mostly doing before and I had some of my best games with those...well, that was the initial idea but after the first month I realized that it wasn´t goign to work as I was 5000$ on dept and sponsor money was around 500$ so yeah that was going to bea short game. So, I gave myself one million dollars after the first show in order to survive and make the game more enjoyable to me (I learned later by reading foolinc´s great diary that I actually could have survived, since the bankrupt rules were way differend than I thought but at that point, I already has 3 - 4 shows done and didn´t want to restart) so just a heads up, this is not actually a 0/0/0/0 game even though I so state in my early posts. The reason why I thought about doing something else is that I feel it takes quite a long tome to push your company up to small and I never really enjoyed being local because of thight finances that restrict roster size and match boooking. Also, for whatevet reason, I really struggle to get anyone over low E- popularity or 17 if using grades (although that might partly be because I mostly played TEW2016 with empty database with just generated guys) and that obviously would come into play with local pormotion as your wrestlers will start below E- popularity (spoiler: I will spend some time looking at the popularity levels for my guys during the second half of the first year as this did became bit of an issue to me as predicted). However, I also don´t enjoy competing with other companies (Did I remember to tell just how bad I am at this game? AI usually outperformes me by at least one grade level so I certainly don´t look to pick a fight with any AI companies if I can help it) and being local gives me enough time to build my guys up (hopefully past that E- barrier that I always seem to hit) before needing to worry about fighting other companies and also the fact that I need less guys at once hopefully gives me a chance to set them up properly and give them actual personalities instead of just being generic wrestlers so I´m hoping that this will give me enough to look up for in order to get past the booking problems that local sized company usually gives me. So basically, it´s easy mode so that I can book more freely and don´t have to consider too much of grades and hiring the best talent possible though I do have some restrictions of who I can hire and how many guys I´m allowed to have in the roster to make things slighly more interesting. As for starting position, I was always goign to choose between UK, Australia or USA and while most of my failed attemps were on UK, I decided to pick USA this time, mainly because of best talent pool (to hopefully combat against that E- popularity cap that I usually hit). I decided to pick Puerto Rico as my starting area, mainly to avoid the company wars as long as possible. I well aware than this leads to me being local bit longer but I hope that it gives me easier time when getting small as falling back to local after fetting small would likely be a game killer, espesially if AI does it´s usual tricks and just have way higher grades than what I can ever produce. As for the product, I chose preset American Pro Wrestling product, which is the following: Mainstream: Key Traditional: Heavy everything else: none Match intensity: 15% Match danger: 10% no T&A or Women division, face and heel divide is on Match ratio is 70%. (should probably be lower but angles are more work than matches and I´m lazy so... yeah.) This means that wrestlers are rated more on popularity than performance and that Puroresu, hardcore and airial skills are less effective. Popularity over performance might be yet another mistake as I´m usually favor good in-ring work over entertainment skills (not to mention that I will start with punch of nobodies) but we have to see how it goes and this hopefully gives me a chance to use some older guys who have seen time in national companies more effective down the road. Right, with the basic things out of the way, let´s see the roster of nobodies that I decided to hire to accompany me for this latest trainwreck, shall we?
  13. <p>Great diary so far, loving to see guys like Jester, Quick Silver and Australian Devil as some of the top guys.</p><p> </p><p> </p><p> League of Tag Teams Match</p><p> <strong>D'n'B (D-Pod & Francis Burke)</strong> v Forces of Dude (Fuzzy Freeman & Jesse Tasman)</p><p> <em>Forces of Dude is still pretty new in YEPW so obviously evaluating were they stand is terms of roster spots is bit unclear (losing to Soul Collectors doesn´t really tell much as they are the main heel group at the moment and likely expected to go over anyone who isn´t main player). That said, D-Pod has been pretty strong so far and at this point, that´s enough for me to pick D´n´B over Dudes.</em></p><p> </p><p> League of Tag Teams Match</p><p> Music Mash (DJ Panther & Lerone Slim) v <strong>The Australian Party People (Marcus Kerr & Matt Stoppard)</strong></p><p> <em>Well, it´s two new teams who both lost on their first match so not much to go for yet. That said, pretty sure Music Mash ain´t default team so Party People should have tag experience advantage and thus I go with them. Also they have a bit more story going on with their association with Sturt.</em></p><p> </p><p> League of Tag Teams Match</p><p> The Entourage (Blake Bushwell & Lothario) v <strong>The Soul Collectors (Bile & Eraser)</strong></p><p> <em>Entourage is too busy looking into mirror to win this one.</em></p><p> </p><p> League of Tag Teams Match</p><p> Dick & Morty (Mortimer Pyle & Felix Harding) v <strong>Sturt & HoBoo (Vance Sturt & HoBoo)</strong></p><p> <em>While Boo certainly gives hanticap with his gimmick, he´s still too talented in-ring for me not to pick him against most opponents.</em></p><p> </p><p> Gregory Grace v <strong>Quick Silver</strong></p><p> <em>Could see either one winning here but Silver has been more on the spotlight so far while Grace has been seen mainly in comedy angles so I go with Silver with this one.</em></p><p> </p><p> <strong>Australian Devil, Jackson Slade & Lone Rider</strong> v Jester, ??? & ???</p><p> <em>Hoping Horror Show are the mystery guys but regardless who they are, I think this is one of those "challengers need to look strong here since they aren´t going to beat champ in 1-vs-1 match" type of deals.</em></p>
  14. This guy has a cool name and all but he might have had one too many hits on the head. Either that or that head booker´s job is bit busier than he would like. http://i1374.photobucket.com/albums/ag421/zergon_81/Death%20frustrated_zps9zv8mknh.jpg http://i1374.photobucket.com/albums/ag421/zergon_81/Death%20frustrated2_zpsxktizzci.jpg
  15. I´m going to say views. Replies are nice and might help motivate the writer (or at least it helps for me) but those aren´t always the best way to measure success. For example, diaries that won´t have prediction contest will likely have less replies than one that do but could still be more popular/succesful one.
  16. Yeah, those licenses can be a bit of pain. I just looked up every show Tigerkinney had reviewed here so far and found that less than 40 of them are actually ones I could watch in Crunchyroll (guess that those narrow my list down nicely though ). Not a big deal since if I really want to watch certain show, I can just watch somewhere else (for free) but still a bit annoying as the cost of Crunchyroll is actually one I´m willing to pay and would rather watch those shows there and support them instead of... well "cheating" for the lack of better word.

One thing I liked about the show was that it always managed to defy my expections, I can´t count the times I thought I know were the story was going and I wasn´t right even once. Plenty of suprises and interesting plot twists and most of the main characters got fleshed out pretty well considering that it was only 12 episodes long.</p>

I finally managed to see the end of Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya and I´m currently watching K (so far 6 episodes seen in three weeks which is actually above average phase for me). I guess the good news is that I now have never ending supply of anime I like to watch for the rest of my life. <img alt=":p" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/tongue.png.ceb643b2956793497cef30b0e944be28.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /></p>

  22. I think you meant me and not Timber. If not then... well I answer anyway I´m currently watching the first season so that´s original broadcast order, right? Might watch the second season too or at least parts of it depending on how well it can capture my interest (to be honest that second season being the first season with linear order but with new episodes slotted in still confuses me but guess I best to see for myself. ). I have to say that the first episode (the one where they shoot a movie) was the most random way I have ever seen a show start so far. That said, overall I have liked the show a lot, just watched the fifth episode and noticed that you weren´t kidding when you said that action scenes come rather surprisingly and the action scene was quite shocking (even more so to me since it involved my three favorite characteres from the show).
  23. I´m not commenting much (if any) on this one simply because I have only watched handful of anime and thus simply don´t have anything to say about the reviews (since I haven´t seen the shows yet) and the ones that I have seen have been reviewed so long time ago that it would feel pretty pointless for me to put my own opinion on them (espesially since I rarely have strong opinions in the first place). That said I have picked plenty of anime series to watch simply because of your reviews including Angel Beats, Sacred Blacksmith, Puella Magi Madoka Magica and The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya (currently watching, seen the first 4 episodes so far). As for the grading system, the current one works well enough for me. After all it just gives general idea to begin with since I seem to have little bit differend taste than what you do.
  24. Just wanted to thank you again for these reviews as it helps me greatly to pick up possible anime to watch. The only problem I have that there are too many to choose from as after I got Cowboy Bebob done I skimmed about possibly anime I might like based on your reviews and ended up with about 60 differend shows that I might like to watch. Guess I need to cut that down a little bit. Oh well, at least I won´t run out of anime to watch so guess it´s all good.
  25. Good to hear that this will continue. Since I don´t have much knowledge about anime and because my progress is pretty slow (only 1 - 2 episodes per week) is good to have some idea about the shows before I commit myself watching them and because of that I´m pretty much picking what I will watch next from your reviews. Keep up the good work.
