  1. The question is then, does a dev really have the right to decide such things for the players? If something is usually cool within the genre it takes place in and the dev decides "I don't like how people do [thing], I'm going to take out every possible way to do [thing]." That's hampering the freedom of the player in what is essentially, a sandbox game to some people. Some people don't play this game with the competitive aspect in mind, should we just go and make our own game then with blackjack and hookers?
  2. He's basically saying "You're not playing the game how I want you to play it". That's not good development

  8. I literally have said this multiple times already. We don't need one or the other. Both concepts can exist.
  9. The fans of WMMA and TEW only have a small bit of crossover I feel. I played WMMA 5 and it's the best in the series, but then again, there's barely any posts about the game on the forums, TEW gets all of the action and thus should get a lot more love and be its own seperate property.
  10. <blockquote data-ipsquote="" class="ipsQuote" data-ipsquote-username="Chisoku" data-cite="Chisoku" data-ipsquote-contentapp="forums" data-ipsquote-contenttype="forums" data-ipsquote-contentid="47715" data-ipsquote-contentclass="forums_Topic"><div>Not gonna lie, when I saw how similar this looked to WMMA5 I was really hoping for the contract delegation feature. I'm not complaining, but it's one of my favourite little quality of life things from WMMA5</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> Yeah, I'm very confused personally, why take out a feature that you know works in one game when it clearly fits in the other as well?</p><p> </p><p> I just more see it as "As someone who plays TEW casually, typing in numbers makes no sense, so let me auto-delegate contracts"</p>
  11. MAW is still in the COTT It's CZCW, MAW, NYCW, OLLIE and newest member IPW
  12. Realistically, there's not a lot of wrestlers who'd perform in deathmatches, plus Adam is biased against them. As much as I'd like this, I don't think it'll happen
  13. You know, after playing WMMA5 for a while, this is a feature I grew to love personally, I'm surprised it isn't something that hasn't been ported over to TEW yet because of it easing access to new players. I know some of you like negotiating your contracts out but if we're going to get rid of the slider for money, I feel like this would be a good addition to the game.
  14. NEMESIS IS DEAD NEW WAVE SPLIT UP NEMESIS IS DEAD WEXXV IS GONE NEMESIS IS D E A D But in all seriousness, there's a surprising low amount of changes really within the universe I expected
  15. As someone said previously in the thread, it's not likely to be out until like 2-3 PM PST(do the conversions) tomorrow(for Americans) as it gets released in Arizona US So patience my friends, soon the demo will be out and we'll get to book to our hearts content. I know it's been 4 years and the hype train is rolling along, but hold your horses, lovelies. As fans of the series, we owe Adam atleast that
  16. I've been playing these games since the first TEW when I was a little jimmy. It's great to see how much everything has progressed over the time this series has been around. Never been too serious about it all but it's definitely a fun thing for me.
  17. Alright, I know you're all using Adam's personal taste in not being into hardcore wrestling as an idea that PSW would get shut down. However, if anything, I expect more at least one of the west coast companies(GSW and IPW) get shut down due to prison time and such, I can imagine a "Rob Black/Messiah" esque incident where someone gets threatened and almost murdered, turns to the feds and either one of those companies gets shut down. Though, with Game Changer Wrestling being a thing, PSW could get some East Coast competition....
  18. I hope there's more hardcore promotions that aren't just WEXXV or the "West Coast War" companies. I want to see a GCW-esque promotion translated to the C-Verse
  19. <p>When he was active, I'd probably be like Nemesis</p><p> </p><p> In terms of a current C-Verse person, I'd probably say Eddie Peak. I've always been a fan of the hardcore, smashmouth style</p>
  20. Very weird question, I'm playing the CV 2018 mod and as of my first show, Scout now mentors Logan Wolfsbane. So yeah, can I get Logan dressed up in a New Wavey styled army get up? Specifically using this picture of him? I may want to team him with Guru in the future
  21. Hey, first off, the amount of cosmetic work put into this mod is great, not going to deny that. However, going to give you a compliment sandwich here and say, thematically and immersion wise, some of the celebrity placements don't make much sense in terms of who they are and how they're crafted. I know you were mostly looking at "is this person popular or not". But in an alternate timeline, things sort of have to make sense. I personally think you should be taking personal and company image into account when deciding where people go (Example: "Hardcore/Altish/Tomboyish ends up in ECW, More "Starlet" types end up in WCW"). It's however, not my mod, but I just wanted to give some constructive criticism. Basically, I'd just make where people are placed matter rather than just shoving them willy nilly. I really do appreciate the work you put into this however, modding is a hard task overall so I understand why you wouldn't of taken it into account. I hope you consider bringing this into TEW 2020 and/or take my criticism in mind. It's a good mod, but I feel like it could be brought to something genuinely great with a bit more thought to it.
