The simplest solution(and pretty much the only, since this game is about making movies) is to make a good movie. It isn't fair for other players if I just give you money out of some ideas. Also, do note that I am not saving you again if your movie flops again.

 2.
Hack/Slash

I think this is probably R, but you can check IMDB or some movie-based site for example of horror in each rating for intensity comparison. And I don't really categorized this as slasher horror actually as I always thought that slasher horror is about one slash hunting a couple of (helpless) scream queens throughout the movies. From your summary I think this is more about the Hack/Slash team vs Slashers so probably just "Horror" or maybe "Horror Action".

Marcus Nispel(1.10 SP)

- Marcus Nispel is just happy to direct a non-remake film. He would want 750,000 + 15% of the film's profit. He has no problem getting all of them after the film is released if you agreed to let him do the sequel given that there is one. He holds no grudge if no sequel is made.

Cortney Palm(0.40 SP)

- With her status, Cortney Palm would pretty much any role and a lead role is always welcome. She would like 400,000 for the role.

Ron Perlman(1.90 SP)

- He thinks he is very capable in playing said role so he wants 2,000,000. He is fine taking only 900,000 upfront but you have to give him 5% of the film's profit if you agree.

Alexz Johnson(0.70 SP)

- She will take the role for 350,000.

Nikolaj Coster-Waldau(1.15 SP)

- Cross-dressing is a challenge to him, he likes it but it doesn't stop him from wanting a bigger paycheck. He would like 690,000.

January Jones(1.55 SP)

- She would like 740,000.

- She doesn't really think the "if popular" deal is good for her as it plays with probability. So, she requests that she should get another role in the studio's upcoming movies. If you can give her at least 1 supporting role within your next 5 movies, she will be fine doing this for 600,000 and taking only 300,000 upfront.

Tim Seeley(N/A SP)

- Obviously, he's free per agreement.

- He has no problem with your choice of Cassie and Vlad. He actually likes Ron Perlman as Vlad very much and he finds casting a no-name as Cassie is interesting. He's a little worried about drawing power but it's still better than development hell.

Total to pay if accepting every deal of lowest cost:

Pre-release: 2,640,000

Post-release: 2,150,000 + 20% of film's profit

GM's Note: If you wonder why Marcus Nispel can get 1.10 SP since he isn't really that famous or a big gun, I give directors a higher base SP over actors.

 4.

Serendipity

Review by: Mr.G

Serendipity is such a weird film, it's drama yet it's hard to view it as a drama. A drama is supposed to be realistic at the very least but there's a lot of illogical plot holes in this one. The entire movie is just bad so I guess I will just go straight into the pointing phase. The first major problem of this film is that it's flat out unrealistic to begin with. The one million dollar needs a better reason to pop out on the table than just...appears out of nowhere on the table. The kill scenes throughout the movie are also more comedic than realistic to be honest, we have Marra stabbing Philla with a fork...I don't think that is enough to stop someone. Then, we have Marra(Selea Gomez) choking Luke Walker(Tom Selleck) to death with her bare hands. No offense to Selena Gomez but I am pretty sure one punch of Tom Selleck could put her down on the floor.

There's also a lot of conflicts throughout this film and the most obvious one would be Marra and Enia's relationship. At first, they were friends, good friends actually and yet Marra just kicked Enia out of the apartment after she gets the money. Did the money change her? We don't know, there's no clear transaction of personalities at all. Marra just kicks Enia and Enia doesn't even react. Is that how an ordinary person would react to such situation? You tell me. Enia then forgives Marra and get back with Marra and died before the film ends. What about Ryan Froggy then? At first, she dumps Marra because she's rich, then he "did this for Marra" at the very end. Every character just go left and right in this movie and they never stay on one side. It's just bad storytelling. There's no process at all on why A changed, they just simply change because of a reason out of nowhere. Marra is the most insane character out there though, you just can't predict what she thinks or what she's going to do, there's no sense in her action and thinking.

The plot also doesn't have that much of a central concept. There's the money yet the movie also spent quite some time on the relationships of Marra and the various characters. Both things don't really match in a good way and that put the movie on a bad step from the get go. No amount of work could help to save a bad story and that is pretty much the case here. Story construction is the first step to making a good movie and that is really needed for Nitrous Acid Films because I doubt they will be in this business for long without improvement.

Also, this movie has a duration fo 170 minutes. Wow, I don't even sure if great movies can sustain that huge amount of time, for a movie of this standard, I expect many among the audience would just leave the cinema in the middle of the movie or just take a nap right there. It also doesn't help that the movie is done under such short budget and yet try to be extremely long.

There's not much of redemption in this film but perverts out there would probably like the partial nudity of Selena Gomez and Lindsay Lohan.

With all factors considered, I give this film 0.5 star out of 5.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Misc. Information

- Drama is in the trend and with 100,000 marketing plus Eddie Murphy and Anne Hathaway in the cast, the movie did garner some hype pre-release. The small flash game also help a little but after the first week and the reviews are out there(both people and critic), the film's gross drops flatly to the bottom.

- The correct figure of marketing should be 100,000 so I use that amount.

- GM's Note: Always try to renegotiate if possible, the talents are selfish persons and they would open up bad deals initially(despite I already try to be easier on you all). You need more initial funds to make a good film, leaving yourself with 100K+ fund for production and marketing is a bad move.

- GM's Note: I just realized you haven't pick a studio specialty, please pick one from the list.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Revenue: 2,000,000

Budget: 3,000,000

----------------------------

Gross Loss: 1,000,000

Post-release: 3,800,000

Trailer Cost: 150,000

20% Bonus: N/A for film at a loss

----------------------------

Net Loss: 4,950,000

Nitrous Acid Films went bankrupt. HOWEVER, American Film Institute decided to give new studio another chance. Nitrous Acid Films is given 2,000,000 to start their next film and a chance to earn back some money. Nitrous Acid Films are required to pay off the debts of 4,950,000 after they have made 5 films.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Impact

- Jude Law was initially furious when you promise him a supporting role yet he didn't get it, but eventually, he's happy to not get any role in this movie so he decided to let it go. As he doesn't appear in the film, his SP is safe.

- Eddie Murphy and Anne Hathaway are only at supporting roles but they did appear in such a bad film, and that is enough for their reputation to take hits. Eddie Murphy is especially furious as he is a laughing stock right now. Anne Hathaway's SP decreased from 3.40 to 3.00. Eddie Murphy's SP decreased from 4.00 to 3.50.

- Selena Gomez and Lindsay Lohan aren't famous for their acting skill and for them to do nudity, they actually get a slight boost on their SP. Selena Gomez's SP increased from 0.90 to 0.95. Lindsay Lohan's SP increased from 1.15 to 1.20.

However, he expect some good deal out of it because he has a reputation to uphold. It's a good book that eventually turns into a franchise and then it gets video game adaptation too. Surely the movie has to be freaking good as well:

- Dmitry Glukhovsky would like 1,000,000 upfront payment + 50% of the profit(GM's Note: Profit adjustment is in place, you will still earn a reasonable amount out of the 50% you get, but you can try to get a better deal if you want to)

- Dmitry would like to see at least 3 talents with Russian descent in this movie. Cameo not included.

- Dmitry would like the story to be at least a little bit different from the book. Feel free to add your creativity, he trust you to do whatever adjustment needed.

- Dmitry will get full right to use the movie's story on some other media, like perhaps another video game adaptation based on the movie.

- The right is for 1 movie.

 9. He hates the other talents, he will still work with you(I am not blocking a talent from any studio, I think that's not fun) if you want, just don't screw him up again. And everyone makes mistake, just don't repeat them and you will be fine. Also, I agree with Grand that John Travolta just doesn't fit Tribal Survival, you would want someone like Stallone or Arnold for that kind of film.
 10.

Tribal Survival

Review by: Mr.G

Let me just say it upfront that RKO Productions seem to be trying to do too much with their first release, Tribal Survival. Still, let's go over the entire movie before I start pointing things out. The movie starts out fine, a solid introduction is given to every characters out there, not too shabby. Then, they are put into a deserted island, still fine, still fine and then there's too much soap opera going out of nowhere. Character A blaming B, B blaming C and so on. That doesn't really click with the movie so far in my opinion, but more about that later.

Finally, there's some action scenes by the middle of the film. Well, about time right? The best fight is probably the the one between the tribe leader and Victor Kevin although it's actually a bit too long as it takes away 1/10 of the movie's duration. Still, seeing Rampage(as the tribe leader) pulling the Rampagebomb on Kevin Smith(Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson) is nothing but awesome...although I think Dwayne actually goes back to The Rock mode and sell that move in a wrestling way, a bit out of character for the movie but it's still a good fight overall.

Some extra fight scenes between the tribe members and the others and at the heat of the moment, suddenly the movie gets a little...too romantic. Oh come on, I expect epic fight to close the deal and I get is this? I am not impressed. The 4-6 weeks premise also seems too long of a time as the movie is forced to skip 4-6 weeks, I think 1 week is more than enough since they did all the fighting in the first few days anyway so there's no need for such a long waiting, especially when there's no story among that period. The ending is pretty fine as every character gets their own ending at the end.

Okay, now that I get the rundown finished, let's talk more about the flaws. Flaw no.1, John Travolta is a 59 playing a 25 years old. How in the world did that happened? It's pretty much true that John Travolta has problem with role picking throughout his career but man, trying to play a 25 years old is just wrong, as wrong as him choosing to star in Battlefield Earth. Not to mention he just doesn't click with the rest of the crew as he's not a brawler type of action star, he's more about gun and hitman. Ultimately, a bad pick as lead actor.

I said about trying to do too much just now, as I don't think this movie should be Action/Drama. The core concept of getting captured into an island and has to fight to survive has "action" all over it but none of "drama". The movie does try to be dramatic at points but action can be dramatic like that so there's no need to put "drama" to the genre. Also, those dramatic parts don't really help the film too much. I heard that RKO Productions possess a solid stunt team, they should utilize them more, more fighting scenes, less other bullshits. There's nothing that fits into the drama genre here, false advertisment. For clarification, drama is all about realistic, life-like story that usually focus on the characters. Tribal Survival isn't really that logical at all in terms of story -- captured into an island out of nowhere, no explanation on various things like why they are there and the tribe itself isn't really realistic anyway.

This movie is R-rated but I don't see it needs that level of rating. The studio should consider intensify the violence to take advantage of the R rating and even better, kill some of the characters. I like it when films kill some of the characters off, especially when it's R-rated, you don't really have to keep everyone to the end, it's not a fairy tale, just be gruesome and harsh. I think this fits more into the PG-13 rating.

In conclusion, I think this is 1.5 stars out of 5. It could have been 2 stars if they didn't make some silly mistakes like casting John Travolta as a 25 years old and bad genre choice.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Misc. Information

- This could get a slightly higher rating if it's genre is "action". Because of the "drama" genre, the movie is rated a little bit more on the storyline, which is sadly, not so good.

- Could use more marketing, it's an action film after all, it's on the trend and you should take advantage.

- Good amount of production value.

- Good duration for an action, probably too short if you are going for a drama film, but I try to see this on the action side so still good.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Revenue: 5,600,000

Budget: 2,590,000

----------------------------

Gross Profit: 3,010,000

Post-release: 3,250,000

10% Bonus: 301,000

----------------------------

Net Loss: 541,000

RKO Productions' New Capital = 3,000,000 - 541,000 = 2,459,000

GM's Note: You could have earn a little bit if the film gets 2 star. The trend also helps you in minimizing losses.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Impact

- People are commenting that Oliver Stone doesn't really help the film. Oliver Stone's SP decreased from 2.50 to 2.40.

- John Travolta received a lot of insults on the internet for his role in this film. The famous topic in various movie boards are "Battlefield Earth vs 25 years old role". John Travolta is furious and refused to work with anyone in Tribal Survival until he has done 2 more films(or a month later). Also, his SP dropped from 4.00 to 3.60.

- Quinton Jackson's Rampagebomb is the highlight of the film, this earns him a SP boost, from 0.80 to 0.90. He is also happy with RKO Productions because he is receiving contact from WWE, wanting him to appear on some of their shows.

- Justin Timberlake's theme song gets average reception so nothing has really changed for him.

- Some of the wrestling/MMA fans e-mailed the studio: "Hey there RKO Productions, good job using athletes as stars for your movie. We will be following your next movie and hopefully you all can do a better job with it."

 11.

Wrong Place, Right Time

Review by: Mr.G

Yo, this is Mr.G back to review Wrong Place, Right Time, which kinds of remind me of my college day. I have been at the wrong place at the right time for a whole lot of time and it's always rewarding. Before I dwell into my own past, let's get this review going. The movie is pretty simple actually and definitely has a small production vibe on it as the script cleverly using only a few locations throughout the movie yet the story is still effective and engrossing.

The story is mainly about how the protagonist, Joseph Katton, a desk job police who really isn't that good of a police officer, explained in a brief flashback, raises on occasion. The antagonist pretty much leave Joseph Katton with no choice, they are all trapped in the White House, no one can come in and no one can go out, so Joseph Katton has to be a true police officer, not much of option.

Joseph Katton turns out to be pretty good, forced by the environment but still, he manhandled the enemies like a boss throughout the movie. The movie only needs a brief introduction period to set up everything and then it's all action from there. Dude is like John McClane of Die Hard, a one man army that take out the ton of terrorists. Of course, to put some realism into this situation, Joseph Katton utilizes his wit to take out the terrorists bit by bit. There's no rambo style of 1 vs 10 here, just clever maneuvers throughout the place and looking for the weak spot of the enemy.

The ending is a little lackluster though as the final showdown isn't as exciting as it could be. Some background of the antagonist, Rick Porter will be good actually to at least give his plan some reason and the audience some extra understanding of the story. The ending also comes pretty abruptly as the credit rolls right after Rick Porter is arrested. I am curious to see whether Joseph Katton can go back to the street or not after this incident, perhaps a promotion? We don't know. I even stay until the end of the credit to see if it's after the credit but no. That's too bad, it lacks the 5% of completion at the end -- wrapping things up.

Speaking of backstory, the only one we know about is Joseph Katton with the flashback but that scene, in my opinion, isn't executed as good as it should be. A police officer is down to desk job because he lets one criminal gets away? Sounds "too heavy" of a punishment as I think criminals getting away isn't too rare. I am also curious what's his wife's job actually since she is invited to the White House, some basic information will help, albeit not truly necessary.

Some people say this should be PG-13 but I disagree and since I am Mr.G, I am always right. ALWAYS. It's a fine movie for the younger moviegoers to watch, not too high level of violence and the good guy is very strong in this movie so no chance of "mis-taught" for children -- they would want to be the good guy growing up.

Talent-wise, I think Carl Frankling handles this movie very well, he has been working in low budget movies all the time so he actually handle this one with ease. Timothy Hutton puts up one heck of performance in this one and I am pretty sure he is happy with his performance in this film.

With all that said, I give this one a 3.5 stars, out of 5.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Misc. Information

- Carl Franklin's in-the-zone directing improves the quality of the film and thus, securing a 3.5 stars for it.

- The film is a little tough to sell without huge star power. However, Grand, Inc has a marketing team that can sell sand to Arab, and eventually they find effective ways to market the product. 12.

The Good Men

Review by: Mr.G

This is Mr.G...no, I am not Kenny G; yes, I am better than him. No, I am not gay; yes, I am single. No...now stop asking questions! Mr.G is here to breakdown The Good Men, not to listen to your bullshit questions that are nothing but insult to my ears. Alright, The Good Men comes from True Bright Pictures, a newly acquired studio, yet they decided to shoot a film so far away, in the land of Arabian Peninsula. That's a bold move because I assume it takes a reasonable amount of money to shoot there.

The movie has a pretty small scope, focused on a few characters more than the war. There's not too much of background details either as the cut hits the main protagonist right out of the gate. No bombardment, no war buildup or some background, just BAM, straight into the protagonist. Then, the background. The film starts up pretty slow until the raid and that's some good moments there but a little bit too short for my taste before they cut to General Paul Stone.

The middle part ultimately discusses the meaning of war and "good men" seems to be the central theme of this movie starting from this point. One major problem I have with the full prison scene is the Arabian soldier seems to trust the general too easily. It's hard enough to trust someone on the opposite side in life and in war, it should be even tougher.

After a brief introduction to each other, it's about time for the final showdown. For a film of lower budget, the bombardment are actually pretty well done, huge focus on the effects and sounds rather than the actual showing of planes bombing the place because well, budget is an issue here. Good decision by Ridley Scott to film it this way.

The movie ends with a twist as Kaalim isn't as simple as he should be. After a very well put "Because we are the good men.", more explosions and credit rolls...with a final quote of "There was never a good war, or a bad peace. - Benjamin Franklin."

The overall execution of this film is pretty decent but there are some flaws ultimately. First, genre premise, there's no doubt that this movie is of the war genre but I don't really see the thriller at all. It's a pretty forward plot without too many suspense along that way and to be considered a "thriller", suspense is a huge deal. The overall story just doesn't feel like thriller so this ends up being some sort of false advertising. Second, the duration is pretty long for the plot because it's pretty simple: General Paul Stone gets caught -> jailbreak -> day of Operation Swiftforce. I think it could be done within 100-115 minutes to cut out the amount of slow shots.

Of course, it could work with 135 minutes but there should be more scenes. To me, a mature movie like this one could use more character development. By adding the interactions between General Paul Stone and Kaalim Saba within the two days of waiting instead of instantly jumping into Operation Swiftforce would really help the final scene. First, we get to know more about their character, so eventually we invest more into the story and secondly, their developed connection will make the ending twist even more significant. One minor picking, some more war scenes would be good. Or maybe show more about the suffering of Arab people. Another minor picking, the dialogue could also be more deep, especially for General Paul Stone.

Overall, it lacks a little bit more in some aspects but it's still a pretty decent film. I rate this 3.25 out of 5 stars.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Misc. Information

- Filming in Arabian Peninsula takes a good amount of production cost so the film ultimately looks a little bit amateurish when it comes to overall production value.

- Despite the strong 400,000 marketing, a film of this type doesn't really draw a ton of crowd. Perhaps the studio should spend a little bit more on production and marketing.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Revenue: 12,500,000

Budget: 5,000,000

----------------------------

Gross Profit: 7,500,000

Post-Release: 3,350,000

30% Bonus: 2,250,000

----------------------------

Net Profit: 1,900,000

True Bright Pictures' New Capital = 5,000,000 + 1,900,000 = 6,900,000

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Impact

- Daniel Day-Lewis decided to stay and enjoy his life in Arabian Peninsula. He will be out of contact for 3 days.

- Kaalim Saba's performance in this movie garners a fair amount of attention. His character has good depth and some are amazed that he can handle himself in the same scene with Daniel Day-Lewis. Now, he's getting recognized as more than a villain in Far Cry 3. Michael Mando's SP increased from 0.95 to 1.10.

- Other talents have no adjustment on their SP because their performance are equal to their status or that they are not really significant to the movie.

- BONUS: The beautiful scenary of your film has attract more tourists to Arabian Peninsula. The government there has decided that they will help your future projects. You will get a 30% discount(paid by said sponsor) when you use a talent of Arab descent(Arab-Americans are fine too) in your future projects. Works for 1 talent and within the next 10 movies.

 14.
Sorry for slow reply, Payday 2 is keeping me busy. I will start the first round of review on next post.

--------------------------------------------------------------------

Hack/Slash

Image Comics is delighted to you see wanting to do a Hack/Slash movie, he even swear for a few minutes at the phone aiming at the bigger studios because Hack/Slash has been circling in development hell for too long. Here's his proposal:

- Image Comic has no problem with direct payment but they wants 25% of the film's profit

- The deal is only for 1 movie, they would like to see how the movie performs before they decide if they would give right for a sequel

- Tim Seeley is fine doing a cameo role for free

- They would like partial creative control on Cassandra and Vlad, as in if they think who you pick is not suitable, they would ask you to repick.

I think it's pretty reasonable so I didn't price Bomb Queen. But if you want Bomb Queen, do tell me so I can price it.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Serendipity

Selena Gomez(0.90 SP)

- She isn't sure if nudity will help her career so she would like 900,000 for the role.

- She wouldn't want to go above this film's nudity level throughout the trilogy.

- She understands a trilogy might be significant to her career and she is fine only taking 300,000 upfront.

Lindsay Lohan(1.15 SP)

- She has no problem with partial nudity, "might as well just go for it" is her approach. Still, she would like 950,000 for the role.

- - She understands a trilogy might be significant to her career and she is fine only taking 350,000 upfront.

Anne Hathaway(3.40 SP)

- She is happy to have a bigger trailer.

- She wants a bigger role(at least second lead) in the 2nd and 3rd part of the trilogy.

- With that said, she will be fine with 1,200,000 for this one since she will eventually earn more by securing bigger roles in future anyway. She is fine taking only 200,000 upfront.

- The extra trailer space will cost you 50,000.

Tom Selleck(1.65 SP)

- She will take the role for 650,000 although he really wonders if going partial nudity will help the film. But he has no issue with it. He is fine only taking 250,000 upfront.

John Corbett(1.10 SP)

- He will take 385,000.

Eddie Murphy(4.00 SP)

- He doesn't like the fact that he has less trailer space than Anne Hathaway as he believes he's way higher than her status-wise.

- He would want MORE trailer space than Anne Hathaway, no ifs and buts.

- He would like a 2,000,000 for payment.

- For his trailer to be bigger than Anne Hathaway, you will need to pay 100,000 for his XXXL trailer space.

- If you promise that he will be the main lead of your next movie(that is not a Serendipity sequel), he will take the job for 1,400,000.

Jude Law(3.50 SP)

- He would prefer if he can have a supporting role in this film.

- He will direct and support at a fee of 3,000,000 OR 1,200,000 + 20% + the right to direct the full trilogy. If you take the 2nd deal, he is fine taking all the money after the film is released.

Assuming you take all the lowest direct payment deal:

Pre-release: 2,885,000

Post-release: 3,800,000 + 150,000 trailer cost + 20% of profit

GM's Note: I suggest you either cameo Eddie Murphy or throw him away. I did my best to cut down the initial costs but they are still pretty lethal and risky for you. If you cameo Eddie Murphy then his trailer complaint will be out of the question.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Uprising

I assume there's dark or satire element in this one as it looks like a shot at obesity? I assume it's a serious movie with no comedy element(aside from perhaps a little dark comedy)? Just so I grasp it well when I review it.

Christian Bale(4.70 SP)

- He is famous for body morphing so he has zero problem with fat suit. In fact, he would make himself a bit puffy for the movie.

- With that said, he would want 3,000,000 for the movie. He will even go as low as 2,500,000 if you make him the primary star of all three movies. If you promise him on the 2,400,000 deal, he is fine only taking 1,000,000 upfront. To fulfill the primary star requirement, the only main lead in the next 2 parts of the trilogy has to be Christian Bale ONLY. Other stars have to be second lead or below.

Jeff Bridges(3.00 SP)

- Rarely can he see a chance fo rhim to secure a role in trilogy, so he is happy to get this offer.

- With that said, he would like 2,000,000 for this role. He will take 500,000 upfront.

Karl Urban(2.40 SP)

- He has no problem with the fat suit. He would like 700,000 for this one as he is pretty happy for the possible job in all three movies.

Emily VanCamp(1.05 SP)

- She would like 275,000. She is fine taking 175,000 upfront.

Zack Synder(2.25 SP)

- He really likes the concept of this film and he is pretty sure he can make it work. He would take 1,200,000 + 20% of the film's profit but he wants the marketing budget to be at least 200,000. He feels that 50,000 is just too little. For the sake of more advertising power, he is fine with with a 200,000 upfront.

If you accept all offers with minimum cost:

Pre-release: 2,575,000 + at least 200,000 on marketing

Post-release: 3,900,000 + 20% of film's profit.

 15.
Fauntleroy Jones: Special Bounty Hunter

Andy Samberg(1.35 SP)

- He is pretty interested in the character so he will take it for 1,100,000. He is glad that the studio is using him as the very main lead so he is fine taking 550,000 pre-release and then 550,000 post-release.

Bob Saget(0.90 SP)

- He will take the job for 450,000.

Eric Stonestreet(1.20 SP)

- He will take it for 1,000,000.

- He will cut the offer to 800,000 if you can bring another Modern Family talent to do a film with him. The film that features him and the other Modern Family talent has to be anyone of your next 5 movies. If this offer is taken, he is fine taking only 400,000 upfront and then 400,000 post-release.

Aubrey Plaza(1.00 SP)

- She would like 500,000.

- She can lower the price to 300,000 if you promised her at least a second lead role in any of your next 5 movies.

Ben Affleck(3.80 SP)

- He will do it for free if you promise to cast him as (at least) a second lead OR director(he is interested in trying to direct other's script) of one of your future projects. The time limit is within your next 10 movies.

- Otherwise, he would like 100,000.

Kevin Smith(2.00 SP)

- Kevin Smith thinks he can handle this one fairly well, he will go for this one for the price of 1,000,000 + 15% of the movie's profit.

- If you can put Jason Mewes and him(not necessarily as Jay and Silent Bob) into one of your next five films, he will cut the deal to 800,000 + 15% of the movie's profit. Kevin Smith doesn't need to direct that particular film.

The lowest possible total out of current deals:

Pre-release: 2,500,000

Post-release: 950,000 + 15% of movie's profit.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Quest of Kings

Are these voice roles? Or it's a movie with real acting and animation? My assumption is this is animation since you said "animated fantasy" but I am just confirming.

The cast is pretty big, I will see if I can work them within the budget if they are voice roles. I always assume voice roles are paid lesser than real acting roles.

Here's the SP list for reference:

CJ Adams(0.40 SP)

Miranda Cosgrove(0.70 SP)

Ian McKlellan(2.15 SP)

Ian McShane(1.70 SP)

John Cheese(1.40 SP)

Ewan McGregor(3.60 SP)

Seth Rogan(2.80 SP)

Kevin Michael Richardson(2.00 SP)

John Lassetter(1.85 SP)

I know I shouldn't say too much as the GM but I think you might need to cut off maybe one or two of the characters out there or use lesser known actors. You make some good choices on the lead as they are cheap but the supports(despite supports are supposed to be cheap) are highly paid stars so they still eat up a lot of moneys. I can still try to make them work but you are likely to have to make a ton of promises to get it done with this cast.

Title: Serenity
Rating: R

Summary:

Marra Sorde is a waitress in NYC who barely has enough money to pay for her apartment. she has a roommate called Enia Torko who is very succesful businesswoman. when Marra finds a million dollars left on a table at her restaurant, she decides to kick her friend out of the apartment but Enia admits she is in love with Marra. With that said, he would like 2,000,000 AFTER the film is done.

- He also want your promise that he can direct another film(in your next 4 movies) and that film has to be closer to his style.

If you agree on everything:

To pay before film: 2,015,000

To pay after film: 3,250,000 + 10% of movie's profit.

GM's Note: This movie is very expensive and out of your league IMO but I tried hard to nerf down the initial cost. I won't be as easy on your next film though, you can try to negotiate to cut the cost or try to change some of the cast. Or you can take the current offer and swing away.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The Good Men

Daniel Day-Lewis(3.25 SP)

- He would like 3,900,000 for the role. He is fine just taking 50% of it(1,950,000) to start the film and then you can pay him the remaining 50% when the film is finished.

- He would like the movie to be shot at Arabia, it would help in his method acting approach. He is serious about this request that he don't think he will take the role if this is not shot in Arabia. (This means you need to put more money to production to cover the flying trip and etc; putting too less to the production cost and the movie will suffer from being low quality)

Michael Mando(0.95 SP)

- He would take 807,500 for the role.

- He would like his character to have the same hairstyle as Vaas Montenegro of Far Cry 3, hoping that more people would recognize that's him. He will do the film 50,000 less if you take this request.

John Hawkes(1.40 SP)

- He is happy to team up with Daniel Day-Lewis again. So he would take the role for 600,000.

Terrence Howard(2.00 SP)

- He would take the role for 900,000.

Ridley Scott(4.20 SP)

- Ridley Scott likes the idea of the film, he is pretty confident in it that he can do a good job. Hence, he decided that he will take 1,680,000 and 30% of the film's profit OR 3,360,000 and 10% of the film's profit.

- If you accept the 1,680,000 and 30% deal, he is willing to wait until the movie is out to take his total cut but he would want instant payment if you take 3,360,000 and 10% of the film's profit.

If you agree on everything(and the 30% deal for Ridley Scott):

To pay before film: 4,257,500

To pay after film: 3,630,000 + 30% of film's profit.

GM's Note: Daniel Day-Lewis is a pretty special individual that is known for being picky with role and only do a movie once in a while, he's more of a "do it for the art" type of actor. To stimulate this, I give him lower SP but he always demand high price for a role to stimulate he's very serious in what he takes.

-----------------------------------------------------------------

You can always negotiate with the talents. Feel free to do so, or if you just can't wait anymore, take those deals and start the movie. <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/wink.png.686f06e511ee1fbf6bdc7d82f6831e53.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" />

 21. As soon as you registered your studio, you can start to make the movie, I will reply all of them ASAP.
 22. You can go ahead and start your first movie now, I have your studio info recorded in my PC.
 23.
I am starting from scratch so no list just yet. Just list who you want and do the pre-production stuff and I will assign SP to those talents(Kind of like the very beginning of Mad's 1.0). If you have like multiple potential talents for a role, I can gauge all of them for you.

I will turn them into a spreadsheet when I have given a good amount of talents their SP points.

 24. You and your 5M budget are readied, feel free to get into pre-production.
