  1. Instead of clicking Complete All Signings or whatever it says, click the View button and you can assign them directly.
  2. Is there any reason <em>not</em> to take steroids as the UC? It's not like there's a fear of untimely death.
  3. I will echo their sentiments and send my best wishes to you and your family, Jaysin.
  4. Correct. I've done this with Cobra/nWo Sting. Unfortunately, the characters have the same disposition and gimmick, so it isn't perfect.
  5. Pretty self-explanatory. Without a .pdf or .html version of the handbook, at the very least an in-game search function should be a necessity.
  6. WCW August 1996 - January 1997 Post-Starrcade 1996 WCW World Heavyweight Championship: Hollywood Hulk Hogan (2x) - Retained against Ricky Steamboat at Starrcade. WCW United States Championship: Booker T (1x) - Major Star already, and it really happened organically. I loved this storyline. He defeated Ric Flair at Starrcade. My proudest moment so far in TEW2020. WCW World Television Championship: Eddy Guerrero (1x) - Defeated Chris Benoit at Starrcade. My favorite title to book. WCW Cruiserweight Championship: Rey Misterio, Jr. (2x) - Regained title from the man who beat him, Syxx, at Starrcade. WCW World Tag Team Championship: Scott Hall and Kevin Nash (1x) - Defeated Booker T in a handicap match at World War 3 to win the titles after The Giant (kayfabe) broke Stevie Ray's arm on the go-home edition of Nitro. Retained against The Steiner Brothers at Starrcade.
  7. I think the closest so far is the 1985 mod. Its not done yet but Jaysin is working on releasing a beta soon.
  8. No joke. I popped huge when that was announced. Legit dream match. I'm willing to give them a pass on the 10 count because to me it isn't as egregious as stopping the count at 2 without a kick out - which seems to have stopped - but I can definitely see how it would fall under the same category of "call it like a shoot." Also to be fair, we see all companies play with the 5 count to give more leeway because, you know, sometimes a spot takes seven seconds.
  9. I know Gazwefc83 is, and Idolized appears to be for the 2004 mod, as well. Hopefully this becomes the new standard as it really helps with immersion.
  10. Hey guys, headed towards World War 3, decided to bring this guy in under essentially a Legends Deal for the match and maybe some spots afterwards against the nWo. Who knows? Talking people out of retirement is awesome! Nikita Koloff
  11. I'm still not sure I understand this feature, at least in terms of Big companies. I'm playing WCW 1996, and am on the cusp of Large. The only thing stopping me is getting to 71 in The Maritimes (Canada). I have Medium TV coverage and Huge Events converage, but that one region seems stuck at 65. The rest of Canada is 70-72. I've read the handbook, so I feel stupid for not understanding. Sorry guys. Edit: I read it one more time. I think I get it. In fact, we're going to hold the first ever WCW Slamtastic Voyage tour of The Maritimes!

Is there a work around for this?</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> I would recommend Bash at the Beach 2000, have his opponent lay down, Hogan retains, then fire and strip him of the title. Then announce a new main event to crown a new champion.</p>
  13. Can we get a check box in the match history screens to exclude dark matches, especially from W/L records? Seems like a simple addition that could really come in handy. Even Goldberg lost a dark match before The Streak started.
  14. Agreed, at the very least, size seems to be a necessity.
  15. The pandemic didn't start September 18. I'm with Jaysin on that one. It's a third brand, and it has been for almost a year. With that logic, before Heyman was removed from creative, Raw and Smackdown weren't brands, they were separate companies.
  16. Yeah, this would be a significant upgrade to the excellent work already being done. 100% support this.
  17. The topic of this thread is simple. What do you book in the opening segment of the average television show? A hot match? A hot angle? Do you use a signature open like Raw or Dynamite? How do you like to start your show? I've used all three but I'm not sure if one is better than others, or if the use of a signature is the worst but best for immersion purposes, etc. I'm curious to hear your opinions.

Theoretically open matches make the match better and then both guys benefit from being in a better segment than they would otherwise.</div></blockquote><p> </p><p> That's absolutely the way it should be, too, so that's good to hear. Thanks Showtime!</p><p> </p><p> Edit: Another question, because "whatever gets the best grade" feels too gamey. Is a beatdown rated on Fighting or Menace?</p>
  19. If you use the Open Match note to make an enhancement talent look good in a squash match, does the more over worker lose momentum or popularity, or is it "all profit," so to speak?
  20. <p>WCW August 1996</p><p> Post-Halloween Havoc 1996</p><p> </p><p> <strong>WCW World Heavyweight Champion:</strong> Hollywood Hulk Hogan (2x)</p><p> - Defeated The Giant at Hog Wild 1996; retained against Randy Savage at Halloween Havoc</p><p> </p><p> <strong>WCW United States Heavyweight Champion:</strong> Ric Flair (6x)</p><p> - Start champion; retained against The Giant at Halloween Havoc, although Giant won by DQ</p><p> </p><p> <strong>WCW World Television Championship:</strong> Chris Benoit (1x)</p><p> - Defeated Diamond Dallas Page at Halloween Havoc 1996, who beat Lex Luger with nWo interference on Nitro</p><p> </p><p> <strong>WCW World Cruiserweight Champion:</strong> Syxx (1x)</p><p> - Won tournament to determine number one contender and won the title from Rey Mysterio, Jr., at Fall Brawl; retained against Eddy Guerrero at Halloween Havoc</p><p> </p><p> <strong>WCW World Tag Team Champions:</strong> Harlem Heat (6x)</p><p> - Start champions; retained against The Nasty Boys in a Las Vegas Street Fight at Halloween Havoc</p>
  21. I've made up a few more if anyone is interested: Jeff Jarrett Tully Blanchard Barry Windham Edit: Diamond Dallas Page
  22. I have a suggestion: I think you should give Rey Mysterio, Jr., either the "Easily Marketable" or "A Marketing Dream" attributes to simulate how hot those masks have been for 25 years. Still love this mod. I'm a slow mover, but I'm on the road to Halloween Havoc!
