  1. Seriously, does anyone know if workers can gain popularity in segments under four minutes?
  2. Can workers gain popularity or momentum in angles under four minutes in TEW2020?
  3. It seems fairly obvious, especially for a company to get a quick infusion of cash to stay in the black. Good idea.
  4. That is the best post ever! Thank you so much James Casey, I greatly appreciate it!
  5. This is why this forum is so great, because I thought I was the only one. I'm an extrusion operator so I make medical tubing. I often just sit at my machine and type promos on my phone in OneNote. I've done it for years. It could be absolutely anything. Sometimes I don't even know when the promo will happen or even who will deliver it! I can fill in the story around it through the promo. For example, yesterday I thought about how I could debut Warrior in my WCW 1996 game. I haven't decided if it's something I want to do yet, but I gave it some thought. Within one promo, WCW President Roddy Piper discussed: * Hogan screwing Flair, Luger, Steamboat, and Bret Hart out of the title * Ducking Piper when he challenged him for an upcoming nWo PPV * Came up with some crazy rule about Sting who, as a free agent, can't be booked by WCW, therefore can only be granted the match with Hogan by Hogan and nWo President Eric Bischoff * Booked Piper vs. Curt Hennig for the aforementioned nWo PPV I don't even know if I want Warrior to debut, but the rest of it could work.
  6. I've recently read that using success/defeat in angles builds momentum for the workers with success, thereby "getting the heat back," which is amazing because I never knew this was possible. I thought I was just losing a cosmetic thing. So now that I'm learning about it, what equates to minor/major? My thinking would be: Minor Success: Roddy Piper debuts in WCW to confront Hollywood Hogan with a verbal altercation, based on the promo that he delivered. Success: Jon Moxley debuts in AEW, taking down Chris Jericho and battling with Kenny Omega, based on Mox standing tall in the end. Major Success: Shawn Michaels turns on Marty Jannetty, throwing him through the window of The Barber Shop, based on the importance of the angle and the blood. Would this be right? Either way, can I get some more examples so I can try to categorize things better?
  7. That means a lot coming from you, your WWF game from TEW2016 is the stuff of legend!
  8. I support this. All the segments just kind of run together as a wall of text. That yellow color is distinctive.
  9. I'm really looking forward to this, a custom fed (okay, AEW) in the September 1995 mod was one of my favorite games in TEW2016. It was liberating to book people how I wanted to as opposed to "but that doesn't fit WCW/WWF/etc." Best of luck with this!
  10. I'm having this issue with my WCW 1996 game. I added DiBiase, nWo Sting, Syxx, and The Giant to the nWo, all by Fall Brawl. I'm hiring people I associate with WCW, such as Roddy Piper, Wrath, and even Lenny Lane. On the other hand, I want more people to defend WCW. Not Piper, people who would actually care about the Honor and prestige of World Championship Wrestling. So I brought back Ricky Steamboat to challenge Hogan at Starrcade 1996 instead of Piper. Not that I don't love Piper or don't want to use him, but because he has very little connection to WCW at the time. I also plan on bringing in Bret Hart at the end of Starrcade, but again, he has no connection to the company. Like Piper, he just wants to wrestle Hogan.
  11. Glad I could help. Whipped up this one in case it works for you, as well. Steve Corino
  12. I made this one, I don't know if it will work for you, though. Ricky Steamboat
  13. I propose a slight redesign of the tag team page. With the bigger window, more information can fit, so I think the addition of each teams last five matches would be wonderful. This would make it easier to keep track of how the teams have been booked recently. This isn't the best photoshop in the world, but as you can see, there is plenty of room for a scroll bar for titles and a "last five matches" list.
  14. I like to think of this as The Pineapple Pete Principle. If you bring in a local talent or a worker on any other one-appearance deal, upon appearing on television, they debut a gimmick. Perhaps it's really good, marketable, etc. Now they have more value to your company, and now you want to sign them to a full-time contract. I think you all know where I'm going with this. The deal is signed, but since they left your company, they now need to "re-debut" their gimmick. This isn't completely realistic, as we've seen numerous people earn contracts based on how their gimmick got over in their tryout. I don't exactly know what I'm asking for, though. Maybe some sort of way to preserve that gimmick for X number of days, whether that be 14 or 28? I'm not sure of the best way to implement it, I just know that fans remember the gimmick that debuted last week, especially if they liked it.
  15. Glad somebody could find some use for it! And Gaz, that's awesome, thank you so much!
  16. Hate to nitpick as those are really good, and I've greatly enjoyed everything you've put out thus far, but any way we can get a version of the top one that says Hart Foundation instead of just Foundation? Since I'm being totally unreasonable, I'd like to share a couple of cuts I made in case anyone can use them. nWo Sting Curry Man
  17. Yes, but with the debut of on-the-fly booking perhaps this is something that should be considered for a future iteration. Seems like the two should have gone hand in hand, especially since he was redoing the gimmick system anyway.
  18. I support this, although I have more of an issue with Brutus Beefcake being the star of the show than I do with the attendance.

  22. Please set Adam Cole to deceased, and add Austin Jenkins to NXT under the alter ego of Adam Cole. I mean, that is what happened.
