  1. Rumors have suggested Bayley and I think that gives a fun route to Mania challenging Io. If it ends up being Jade though oof hard to image a captivating story much less the match at Maina
  2. Saying JK Simmons does candy and insurance commercials “regardless of how big they are” is laughable when those are big name companies. Also comparing an actor to an athlete is apples and oranges Punk like all wrestlers puts his body at risk by competing JK not so much he likely films all his insurance commercials for the year in a few days or a week. I’m no expert on SAG stuff but I know actors have to work and earn a certain amount each year to keep their membership and if commercials count towards that then it also makes sense business wise for JK to continue doing them but again that has nothing to do with Punk and the topic at hand
  3. One of the few games I’ve beaten multiple times it’s sooo fun and just beautiful again I can just walk the map enjoying the world. Some of that beauty is lost in Kurosawa mode in my opinion but it’s still so worth it
  4. TV was actually much more prevalent back then and has been loosing ground for at least 10 years to streaming besides WWE losing viewers people watching cable has dropped. So going back a month of both Raw and Smackdown I’m counting 2 no contests a double count out and 1 DQ finish but apparently that’s too much and Triple H being lazy.
  5. DQs in wrestling have been around since pretty much the beginning and were way more prevalent in the territory and attitude days but yeah Triple H he’s using them too much
  6. I didn’t get that feeling myself but my only nit pick is the roar. It doesn’t have to be exactly like the OG but I think legendary did a better job with the roar. That being said what they did give us in no way is bad or diminished my enjoyment.
  7. I just got home myself from seeing Godzilla Minus one and I’m having trouble finding words to properly express my feelings and I mean that in the best way. No hyperbole it is easily one of the best movies of the year hell probably one of the best movies of the last 5 years. Please please please don’t let any preconceived notions of what a Godzilla movie is keep you from seeing this film.
  8. Not surprised after his poll disasters but I still laughed so hard when I saw that
  9. Love him or hate him I think we should all be giving thanks if this is true
  10. 4 pillars match wasn’t the main event though anarchy in the arena was. And like I said before Tony is doing what other did before him and will do after him which again is not in and of itself a bad thing.
  11. Apologies if there’s sarcasm in this post that I’m missing but out of curiosity I looked up all the AEW ppvs to look at their main events. There are more main events that have entirely ex WWE guys then there are main events with no ex WWE guys. Tony hires pretty much anyone with a name from the E just like WCW and TNA before him which is not in and of itself a bad thing. With the exception of Omega vs Page every main event has had a former E guy so I think saying Tony is relying on older talent from other companies is spot on.
  12. I’d sell my kids for a live action Guyver that follows the manga
  13. Echoing that forbidden west is just as good as zero dawn. I will add that I felt in forbidden west it pays off more to hold off on most of the side quests until your next story mission is the Kulrut give or take. I’m one that likes to finish and explore everything in an area before moving on to the next area but I remember there being even side quests that I either had to go back to do or would’ve been much less annoying had I waited.
  14. Newly huge one piece fan I started watching it with my kids about a year and a half ago. We’re 2 episodes into the live action and loving it. While you definitely get way more out of it being a fan I think they’ve done a great job keep the spirit of the anime/manga while making the live action it’s own thing if that makes sense. Live action changes some things around expands on some things while giving the same general plot of the first 45 episodes or so. If you watch the live action and enjoy it Netflix has a good chunk of the anime and even lists tv original on certain sections which you can skip as they’re all filler.
  15. And a person to each side and you’ve got a survivor series match
  16. I haven’t watched any of the last of us yet but loved both games and this is kinda of what I expected when I read that the first season was going to be the first game. I wanted to spend more time with some of these side characters and a series was perfect for that. There’s also pretty big gaps in the games story where the show could’ve done their own thing for an episode without much issue. The first game really should’ve been 2 seasons then they could tell the games story while like I said giving us more of side characters and doing something original. I’m torn on actually watching the show because of how much I love the games.
  17. Second that opinion. I loved pitch black and was really excited for chronicles of Riddick but it was such a jumbled mess. I know I watched the third but can’t remember anything about it. I feel like most of Vin Diesel’s characters are better off as one shot characters though but that being said his passion and enjoyment of the character really bleeds through.
  18. The men’s was very paint by numbers and predictable which while not a death sentence just left me bored. I liked the womens more because there were more potential winners. I had the preshow on while cooking and saw the bloodline segment and read into that Sami wasn’t in the rumble so that left only Cody to win. I knew Rhea was the favorite but there was also Becky I felt like Bayley had a chance, Auska felt like a possibility when she came in which speaking of not sure if it was her new at least to me attire but she looked great. Raquel, and Sonya also felt like they could be surprise winners though when Nia showed up I was worried she was going to win thankfully it went the way it did.
  19. More like macho man in 91 than Axel. As far as the show itself very underwhelming all around. They need to retire people lasting 50 minutes plus, and the person who started being there at the end of the rumble. It’s not impressive anymore when it happens and it happened again twice in the same year. The pitch black match was ok for what it was but my god was the womens title match was abysmal. I thought the women’s rumble was the better rumble but both were pretty forgettable. The only real highlight was the epic ness of the main event angle after a decent match. My god that pop when Zayn used the chair I think I heard nearly 1,000 miles away.
  20. Haven’t heard about that happening but from what I had heard was that it was mostly designed for the 4 and upgraded for 5. Either way though if you liked 2018s game you will love this
  21. Finished Ragnarok this morning absolutely loved it still have a couple side quests to finish and some new ones popped up for post game too. The only thing I’ve been kinda let down on is the boss fights. They’ve been fun but with the exception of fighting Thor they have been almost easy. Still though this is the best game I’ve played in awhile.
  22. Picked up ragnarok yesterday and managed to find a few hours to start it. After finishing a few main quests I seriously contemplated calling into work this morning something that a game hasn’t made me consider doing since Last of Us 2.
  23. Just got home from seeing Halloween Ends. The franchise is my favorite and I’m happy with the climax. It’s very different from the previous ones in this series since 2018 and while I’m sure some people will have a problem with it I found it refreshing. I’m going to try watching all 4 in this timeline consecutively before the holiday and see how I feel about it as a whole.
