  1. That just isn't true. She regularly gets the loudest reaction of any woman on the show, only occasionally being beaten out by her closest ally. She's a star for AEW. Being part of a bad pandemic-era cinematic match does not negate her popularity. If she was overpushed or not good, she wouldn't be as beloved as she is by the fanbase, and wouldn't have organically turned face like she did.
  2. They're already a success. They're in their fifth year of existence, just sold 60,000 tickets and counting to a show three PPVs away, and are about to have yet another weekly series on national television, on top of likely getting a huge raise from a happy broadcast partner who can't stop giving them more and more airtime. -- There is this aura in every wrestling community about AEW constantly being days away from death or on the verge of failure when every conceivable metric states otherwise. WCW comparisons are pointless. MJF and Sammy are not David Arquette and Jeff Jarrett. Tony Khan booking is not Vince Russo booking. The only comparison there is that its not WWE. It's time for people to just accept AEW as a regular wrestling company and critique them like one, instead of thinking they're always at death's door and one move away from going under. That mindset is what drives much of the negativity around AEW discourse. Hyperbole inevitably leads to arguments.
  3. I know you're trolling for some reason, just wanna point out to everyone else that this show aired at 6:30ET on Friday, after being advertised for 5:30ET, both of which are not the Rampage timeslot. Funny how you left that part out though Also, All In has sold 35,000 today in just the pre-sale. Safe to say that any previous estimates should be thrown out the window. Incredible success.
  4. Hmm...that's a great question that none of us are equipped to answer unfortunately lol. The strong ad buys on Dynamite hints that the network is happy with its ROI. The closest we'll get to an answer is how big the AEW rights fees become, since AEW programming is such a vital component of WBD television.
  5. I'm also really curious where this "200k viewers lost since last year" number is coming from? They averaged about 975k this time last year and are averaging about 887k the last two months. That's not 200k if my math is right.
  6. Hurt my feelings? What in the world? You can't just say "more people have TVs now" and call that verifiable statistics lmao. That's not a statistic. I gave you verifiable data and statistics when I said TV ratings were down over 10% in 2022 alone, continuing the trend of huge drops year over year. That's straight from Nielsen. WarnerMedia networks are actually down more than 10% in the past year. More people have TVs and they're not using them to watch cable. Those are verifiable statistics and prove what you said to be incorrect and false. And no, it is absolutely not stupid of Tony Khan to start a wrestling promotion and put it on national television right now. In fact, this is the best time in the history of the universe to start a wrestling company since TV rights fees have never been higher. WWE gets half of the viewers they did just a few years ago but are pulling in hundreds of millions of dollars in broadcast deals. Their current deals with Comcast and FOX dwarf their previous deals. AEW's upcoming renewals with WarnerMedia will likely include huge bumps in rights fees. There has never been a better time to put a show, especially sports, on television.
  7. This isn't true. The average TV audience dropped over 10% just last year alone. Cable television is a dying medium and quite literally all the data backs this up.
  8. Vikingo has a match this week, just an FYI since you said he's not returning.
  9. They should be in the same pic pack under the names "Logo Background" and "Logo Background2"
  10. Like who? Only one person came out of a Jericho feud looking worse than going in and that's Eddie Kingston, whose momentum stalling was his own fault. He had a horrific performance in the Barbed Wire Everywhere match and then got into a fight backstage. He is the only one who didn't benefit from a Jericho feud. This whole "Jericho kills momentum" thing is honestly one of the most baffling and blatantly false criticisms I've ever seen in wrestling. I understand it's popular on Twitter/Reddit/Discord but that doesn't make it true. Anyone who thinks every up-and-coming talent on the roster isn't begging for a Jericho feud is kidding themselves. Guaranteed TV time in usually the opening, top of the hour or closing segment. Working with one of the most recognizable names in wrestling and who many consider one of the GOATs. And chances are, you go over in the end. It's a no-brainer.
  11. It's one of the shortest feuds on the PPV lol
  12. Show one is two hours, going forward it will be roughly one hour. Just a special edition to kick off the show.
  13. AEW having a third show on national television seems like a pretty important announcement, which is what was advertised. Not that I care very much about the show itself. I'll check out episode one and see how I like it. Either way, it's a fairly big thing as it just shows how strong the relationship between WBD and AEW is.
  14. Nobody can touch MJF on the mic right now
  15. Not a perfect suggestion by any means, but maybe adding the US Tag Team titles as retired titles, so the user can simply flip them to active? I think the AI has the capability to do the same? BigPapa did this with some titles in the 2013 mod.
  16. Probably never. Almost every episode of a weekly wrestling show since 1996 has had them.
  17. Those look great! Do you plan on having stable graphics as well?
  18. I know the newest patch was meant to fix this, have you seen a noticeable difference?

  20. Three awesome matches from Dynamite yet again. Crazy that a company can still continue to put on such a good television show week after week. Even the down weeks are better than any other wrestling on TV in 20+ years.
  21. p { margin:0; padding:0; line-height: 1.5em; } UPJ BATTLE STARS - TOUR RECAP JANUARY 2021 The war between Kinjo-jidai and Ignite Muscle Army continued to grow throughout the Stars of Battle tour shows en route to UPJ Battle Stars 2021. Taheiji Ebisawa, one-half of the reigning UPJ International Tag Team Champions alongside Atonga, laid out a challenge for Kintaro Kinjo for Kinjo's UPJ International Heavyweight Championship for Battle Stars after pinning Kinjo-jidai's Waotaka Eda and Torture in back-to-back nights. Kinjo accepted the challenge, and claimed at the Battle Stars press conference that it may soon be time for him to add another belt to his collection, the UPJ tag titles. Kinjo-jidai's Torture expressed his anger over being pinned by Ebisawa by destroying the backstage area, whipping a chair around and throwing water bottles towards the press. He mentioned that he spoke to Kinjo about expanding the group, and at Battle Stars, the world will see who is coming "home" to UPJ to join the faction… UPJ Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Champions The Fallen (Cameron Cody & Junichi Matsuo) continue to wow crowds, and showed that they are not afraid of competition when they challenged Tokyo Tigers (Nakano Yuki & Ryuko Mishamoto) to come try to take the titles from them. Tokyo Tigers accepted, and Mishamoto was even able to secure a pinfall on Matsuo during a multiman match on a tour show. Last year, Juro Deguchi offered Oda Yamawaki a spot in HardRockCity, but was flat out told no. Instead, Yamawaki stated that he would never show allegiance to Deguchi. Of course, Deguchi took this to heart, and the feud between the two has grown and grown to include most of HardRockCity. Yamawaki, ever the lone wolf and afraid to become loyal to anyone, employs a rotating crew of unaffiliated wrestlers to battle HRC. Without a close group beside him however, Yamawaki has consistently been on the losing end of matches against HardRockCity. UPJ Battle Stars - Sunday W2, January 2021 Yokohama Arena 1.
