  1. CGC Tag Team Title Match: Canadian Enforcers vs Alex & Jack DeColt
    Switchblade Mike vs Howling Dog
    Mammoth vs Condor

This is great news to see. I think On With The Show is one of my favourite diaries ever although checking how long ago that was just then made me feel old...

2013 was my first TEW so I'm only aware of characters that made it to there so for now I'm going solely off names.

Hmm, that's odd, cause I am doing nothing else either. Just to go through it step by step. I always start with this:

realistic human, *age* years old *nationality* *gender* *proficiency* (for example wrestler, commentator, referee, bodybuilder, whatever), *prompts for appearance and weight class* (examples that I made good experiences with: bulky, flabby, fat, ugly, broad chin, big jaw, hulking, brutish), *prompts for clothing* / bare chest (if no clothing), white background, no shadows on the face, face evenly illuminated, aspect ratio 1:1

Here's an example with this filled out:
realistic human, 30 years old japanese male wrestler, broad chin, big jaw, ugly, middle long curly hair, grumpy, wearing blue white gradient wrestling singlet, white background, no shadows on the face, face evenly illuminated, aspect ratio 1:1

When I get a render I like, I just ask "gen id?" and then use these exact same prompts above with small details changed (like obviously age, but also clothing, beard / hair style and such) and add "use gen id: xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx". What's odd is that sometimes in the past, when I just typed in "gen id: xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx" without the 'use' added, it seemed like Chat GPT didn't recognize it for some reason - maybe that happened to you? Other than that, what's important, even with the gen ID, is that you should stick largely to your initial prompts and not change too much. Just changing body shapes can sometimes already create a different looking render, so it just doesn't always work unfortunately. What in my experience so far has always work is just changing the age and usually changing the body shape also works really well.

Sometimes I also get different looking renders when I add specific clothes. In that case I just generate a render without those clothes in the age, that I am looking for and swap the head with GIMP.

That's fantastic thank you. I do think I was getting better results but I've ran out of Dall-E for now!

I do think I was leaning on the generation ID too much rather than including 99% of the same prompt. Thanks again

  3. TCW Roster (with Vessey, RDJ and Rocky added). Been working on a TCW diary for a little bit but interested to get these out first.

Whilst I think everyone has a sense of certain characters I tried to stick to the data as much as possible. Especially when it comes to size/age/sex appeal/star quality. Obviously some of that is subjective but if there's any here that stand out to people as not being accurate then do let me know, very open to constructive criticism/tips!

So full disclosure I’m debating next steps after GSW and are interested in what folks would like to see at a higher priority than others…

I’m thinking about recutting MAW, QAW, and potentially TCW to get my early attempts more in line with my most recents render attempts.

From there…have thought about Australia as a challenge…Canada…or Mexico. But anywhere is fair game.

Opening it up today for voting while I take a brief mental break before starting GSW.

Please share your feedback…by picking and sharing your top choice.

    1. Canada

    2. Mexico

    3. Australia

    4. Japan

    5. UK

    6. Europe

    7. USA Unemployed Workers

I've somehow only just stumbled across this and just want to echo the words of so many others that these are just so fantastic.

Not only are they great individually but I just love the idea of having whole promotions with the same style, no matter how great the artists render is having a mismatch of different styles has always been so off putting.

I imagine you've already made some decision on this question you asked, and really I'd say you should pick whichever appeals to you personally. But just to throw my 2 cents in I would definitely like to see you go back and do the default TCW roster.

  5. Oh nice! Thanks to anyone who voted.

It's so strange for me to think I've been on these boards over 11 years now. Although my engagement and contributions have been sporadic over those years I really feel like I've gotten a lot out of my time here. So my only point to make is to anyone who is considering starting a diary, who isn't sure if it'll be any good, or if anyone will read, or if it will last... I think I've had diaries that tick those boxes, but I've also had diaries that ticked none of them! Regardless though I've always enjoyed it and would always recommend getting involved with this community.

None of the predictions were easy this show as I think all the storylines could go different ways. It's interesting that it's a great card despite no titles being on the line which is a testament to how much good stuff you got going on.

  8. Well I appreciate the compliment, although I've had plenty of stuff not pick up much of an audience, sometimes you just gotta do whatever you enjoy and view participation as a bonus. I know it can be demotivating to spend time and effort and feel it's not getting seen but that's why you just gotta find a game/story you enjoy.

Not the most practical advice I'm afraid... If anything comes to mind when I'm reading this I'll let you know!

  9. Enjoyed reading your thoughts. I think you're too harsh on yourself for sure on a few things. You're right that 12 months of shows is an awesome achievement but I really think the quality has been great too. The general sentiments though I agree with so I'd applaud the self awareness. I wouldn't have even picked out a lack of hot feuds as a weakness but now you mention it I feel like what CGC most needs at this stage is that one special feud.

My answer to both the questions is the same really in that I'd go with whatever excited you more. I see what you mean about Viberts voice format merging a little but that's not necessarily to say a change is needed. I think if working on a new format is appealing to you, great, but if you're used to what you got going now I'd feel no need to change.

Same with the women's division, I'd personally like to see it. But 100% only go for it if you feel good about the ideas you got, or in general the idea of writing a new division.

Essentially a bit of a cop out answer but I'd go with whatever you think most increases the chance of the longevity continuing.

  10. Looking good, will be following.

One potential issue, B shows don't affect company popularity so might not be the best option for the worldwide growth. Then again they do affect worker popularity and then the B brand PPVs will affect pop. So it's not an impossible system.

I do love the CWA roster though, and feel like it's been underserved on the boards. If I was any good at performance over pop promotions I'd have gone for it myself at some point.

  11.

Running Wolf, James Justice and Mystery Partner vs. The Force, Sterling Whitlock and Dusty Ducont
(1 pt for winner, 1 pt for guessing the mystery partner!)
I'm going to go really out there and predict a new signing... Sammy Bach

    USPW Tag Team Championship Match
The Ring Generals vs. Jett & Moor (C)

    USPW National Title Match
    Zeus vs. Roger Cage (C)

    USPW Women's Championship Match
    Joanne Rodriguez vs Pariah (C)

    Enygma vs Tyson Baine

    USPW #1 Contender's Match
Rick Law vs. Kirk Jameson vs. Nicky Champion vs. Joss Thompson

    USPW Championship Match
Rich Money vs. Steve Frehley (C)

Bonus Point: Thoughts on the diary so far?

I've been enjoying it, it's good to see a USPW diary on the boards I think sometimes the bigger promotions can be daunting and a lot of work but I'm finding this easy to follow. This card itself shows how much storyline you've got going on at once.
