  2. Do we know that wasn't the plan all along? I agree, one month notice would be perfect
  3. 70-80 if I'm running a large promotion. Otherwise I stick to to small rosters and high turnover

  5. I just want to thank everyone for contributing to this post. I started a local to global save along with my other game. I will admit I gave myself nearly 400,000 to start though just to have some wiggle room. The tips on this page have been fantastic and right now I'm only losing about 1200 per month as opposed to 15,000 the first several months.

  7. Everyone here has posted fantastic suggestions. For myself, I look at what marquee match ups I want to see. For example, I know that at Starrcade 1994, I want to book Ric Flair vs. Hulk Hogan for the belt. So I pencil that in and work backwards. Also, if a match blows up in your face, that happens.
  8. Thanks for the feedback. I'm getting into it right now.
  9. I agree. One fun game that I'm simulating is the database that starts in 1920 and I imported the 1970 workers, promotions, and broadcasters into the game. Watching the game world develop has been a blast.
  10. January 1985 - July 1992 WWF WWF Light Heavyweight - Jimmy Snuka 2x WWF World Television - Tatanka 3x WWF World Tag Team -Masters of the World 3x (Berzerker and Warlord) WWF Intercontinental - Dynamite Kid 2x WWF World Heavyweight - Bret Hart 2x King of the Ring Winner - Ric Flair 1x WCW WCW Cruiserweight - Vic Steamboat 1x WCW World Television - Diesel 1x WCW World Tag Team -The Steiners 6x WCW United States - Arn Anderson 2x WCW World Heavyweight - Vader 2x *Sting was injured in April and forced to vacate the title. Had a 32 man tournament for the belt. The finals were Lex Luger and Cactus Jack. Cactus Jack won the tournament and the championship only to lose it one week later at Great American Bash against Vader. Vader was originally going to win the belt off Sting. *This game is getting interesting again for me. I decided to bring the WWF Women's belt back and start a new division. I have some new ideas for WCW that will get me through the next two years. Still deciding how to mix things up.
  11. I honestly like 90% of the mods that come out. While I don't play hardcore games with them, I do simulate and see how the world comes together and I don't really have any issues with it besides that the game world does get stagnant after 10 plus years of simming.
  12. How is this mod playing? Anyone have any long term saves?
  13. Also, instant promotion death. I always think that would be a fun narrative or event in the game

  21. Awesome work. I've been playing your original mod (well I've been simulating it and I just got to September 1950. Plan on playing a save once I get to 1980. Great game (I did at real talent from the Territory Daze mod) but the game has been non-stop fun Thanks for the work
  22. Thinking about dumping WCW for awhile since WWF has gotten a lot more entertaining (lost Andre to New Japan, Hogan is leaving soon to make another movie, Ric Flair broke his neck (but is returning in 8 days), Jake Roberts and Roddy Piper are breaking down). I've also been playing the mod that starts in 1920 and simulating to 1980. I've added real wrestlers to it so having Buddy Rogers and Lou Thesz debut has been exciting. I'm at 1949 in the sim.
