style="font-size:12px;"></p><p> Good evening ladies and gentlemen, a few news items to get to tonight, and I'll start with veteran masked American performer Ultimate Phoenix LOSING his legendary mask! He's 44 years old, and has worked for SOTBPW/EILL for 11 years, but this past week he would lose his mask to fellow American Dutch Wilkes. Phoenix was 6 and 0 for the year going into this one, so it was a big shock result.</span></span></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:'Courier New';"><span style="font-size:12px;"> </span></span></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:'Courier New';"><span style="font-size:12px;"></p><p> Speaking of shocks, we have a couple new Champions... Three in fact... in 21CW over in jolly old England! Kevin Jones beat Bedlam for the UK Title... My favourite tag team in the world became four time Tag Champs as Crouching Storm, Hidden Sifu defeated Mark Adonis and mass Hulk... and the 21CW World Title also changed hands. Edward Cornell's 3rd reign as Champion came to an end at the hands of 'The Rock and Roller' Sebastian Koller, who becomes World Champion one year to the day since he himself lost the UK Title! Big shock across the pond!</span></span></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:'Courier New';"><span style="font-size:12px;"> </span></span></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:'Courier New';"><span style="font-size:12px;"></p><p> But I want to spend a little bit of time if I may, talking about everybody's new favourite Australian company: RAW! They held another episode of Attitude! this week, and some of the segments on this show were just fantastic! Swoop McCarthy and Maurice Jackson, I've said it before, are STARS on camera. Whether they're fighting, talking, shouting, or just smouldering intensely whatever it is, they're stars! But a few other stand-outs this week include Montgomery Croft, and more importantly, Nathan McKenzie! 'Big Mac' did a masterful job of acting in those segments, and he really wants to shut Croft's mouth. But why? What does Croft know about him? I know it's popular to say it's 'Soap Opera' and not 'Wrestling', but me personally, three shows into the new season, I want to know McKenzie's secret. BUT. Crucially. I REALLY want to see McKenzie take that rich bastard and beat the snot outta him!</span></span></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:'Courier New';"><span style="font-size:12px;"> </span></span></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:'Courier New';"><span style="font-size:12px;"></p><p> Finally for now, if I may, please stop the abuse about Alex DeColt. Listen, I know you're all big fans of his, but it's my job here at the Pro Wrestling Reporter to a) report on news stories as they happen, and b) give my opinion on them. What I say is not gospel. You can and should all make your own minds up about the things I report on. But please, for the love of Greg, stop with the tweets. Stop with the online bull***t, and leave me and my family alone. I'm sure Alex (DeColt) wouldn't want you to stick up for him in this way. He sure is hell doesn't </span></span></div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:'Courier New';"><span style="font-size:12px;"><em> need </em></span></span></div></div></div><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-family:'Courier New';"><span style="font-size:12px;"> you to either. I've seen the second face of Spin Doctor! The guy, one week he's all drugged up and has to be sent home, the next week he's reported to me by a few of the boys as being an absolute joy to be around. Cheerful. Fun. All of it. I only saw him once, and I can confirm, he could not have been nicer. So I put him in for a drug test, and to my shock, he was CLEAN!! In fact. Nobody showed up to the show with ANY drugs. Is my message getting through to people? Or did they just hide it well? Either way, didn't have to hit anyone this week.</span></span></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-size:12px;"><span style="font-family:'Century Gothic';"> </span></span></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-size:12px;"><span style="font-family:'Century Gothic';"></p><p> I've decided to offer a contract to a female manager who I feel could be a good addition to the roster here. Her name's Ceri Dordevic, and according to Doug Vallenece, whose opinion I trust on these matters, she's GREAT! Doug sent me a couple of tapes of her. I thought it was a bit odd that he had so many, but I watched them and she plays an annoying heel to perfection. She does this bit about how she was on 'The Great Australian Bake Challenge' in 2015, and came 3rd. I guess it's a TV show or something? Well anyway, she'll be coming in to be Louie Louis' manager to begin with. I think those two could be just about the most annoying heels in the company paired up, and she's exactly who I've been looking for.</span></span></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-size:12px;"><span style="font-family:'Century Gothic';"> </span></span></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-size:12px;"><span style="font-family:'Century Gothic';"></p><p> Nathan. McKenzie. I've got to get this down. 'Big Mac' is knocking it out of the park right now, and he came to me with an idea for this week's show that I think is going to be really good s**t. His ongoing feud with Montgomery Croft is going to take a new turn over the next couple of weeks, and if he and Monty pull off what they have planned, it could be the best segment of the year! Fair play to the kid. I'm also really looking forward to seeing Will Beaumont team with Captain Wrestling II and Kerry Wayne. Captain and Kerry can teach him an awful lot, and they've both taken him under their wing well.</span></span></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-size:12px;"><span style="font-family:'Century Gothic';"> </span></span></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-size:12px;"><span style="font-family:'Century Gothic';"></p><p> My final thought, is believe it or not, about Frankie LiberTeen. He missed TV last week, because he was on drugs. This week, he has a decent performance on TV. I gave him some lines to test his acting skills and I thought he did okay. But a strange thing happened during the show. RAW TV Champion Frogue Element and I were talking, and Frogue said in the next 8 weeks, he'd put Frankie over in a match if I wanted him to. Now, I appreciate the sentiment from the Champ. Looking after youngsters is what keeps the company ticking over. But HELLLLLLLL NO!! Right now, I have Swoop and Maurice as my 'Major Stars' if you will, and Frogue is the next closes guy to them. There's no way I'm having my Champ lose to Frankie LiberTeen. Pff! He's not even the best LiberTeen!</span></span></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-size:12px;"><span style="font-family:'Century Gothic';"> </span></span></div></div></div><p></p><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><div style="margin-left:25px;"><span style="font-size:12px;"><span style="font-family:'Century Gothic';"></p><p> Damn I need a whisky. 3. Thank you man. Set myself a little challenge to try and get some of my guys to have catchphrases, and try and get them over. Obviously I'm terrible at coming up with them, but I figure if I drop them into every promo or segment, you'll start to notice what they are, and get behind them The ones I like so far are a couple of Swoops, and the Masterminds Conversely, Louie Louis constantly repeats that he was born in the Sydney Opera House. People would boo the hell out of that, so he just keeps repeating it. Heat catchphrases are a thing. I remember Lance Storms: "If I can be serious for a moment!"... Hahaha Doug and Rebecca. I have a decent idea for a storyline for these two. At the moment, it's the early stages, so it's a case of subtly building their 'relationship'. Glad you picked up on it

  6. Main Event Swoop McCarthy vs Maurice Jackson He's not Swoop, but he's over like rover. A win over Swoop, would put him in another bracket... Even if he has help from the MEM Tag Team Number 1 Contendership Heath & Horton vs The Masterminds vs Will Beaumont & Kerry Wayne vs New Generation Strongest team there, because Kerry. But that's not all! Which member of the roster will look at the Tag Team Speed Dating flyer this week? Loxley Robbins, Isaac Taylor, Brodie Lachlan, Matty Willis or Luke Steele Isaac!! Steele would eat it if he saw it!! A group of the roster will be out for drinks together, but who will pay the bill? The 3AM Boys, JT Ace, Heath Murdock or Kerry Wayne? Kerry. He's the father figure to that lot.

February 2017... 8th Anniversary... I won the TV Title from Luke Steele... I'd go on to defend that Belt for 13 months, including a match with Frogue at the 9th Anniversary Show in February 2018... February 2019, 10th Anniversary... I won the TV Title again... This time beating another legend in Captain Wrestling II... All of that is to say Frogue... You were right to attack me last week... You're right to be scared... I'm coming to the 11th Anniversary to become a FIVE-TIME CHAMP!! SWOOP...!! There it is!!” </div> <div style="padding: 15px; border: 3px solid #22519c; margin:10px;background: #cccccc; max-width:100%;box-shadow: 0 3px 12px ";"> Announce Team As Swoop made his exit, the announce team appeared on our screens, ready to talk about the Nathan McKenzie and Montgomery Croft situation... Rebecca Richey: “Dougie... Big night tonight for 'Big Mac' Nathan McKenzie... He's going to call Croft out a little later on and have it out with him!!” Doug Vallence: “Yeah Becca... What does Croft know?! What dirt does he have on 'Big Mac'...?! Whatever it is, I'll bet 'The Richest Man in RAW' spent a lot of money to find it out... and I bet he could spend a lot more to make it go away too!! I don't think McKenzie has that kind of cover-up power... So I guess we'll find out soon what it is...?!” </div> <div style="padding: 15px; border: 3px solid #22519c; margin:10px;background: #fafbff; max-width:100%;box-shadow: 0 3px 12px ";"> 'The Prospect' Rod Sullivan [vs] Tombstone On paper, a one-sided battle here, but Sullivan put up a great fight out there against the odds! Gilbert's presence in the arena sent Tombstone packing, as 'The Natural' consoled his friend... </div> <div style="padding: 15px; border: 3px solid #22519c; margin:10px;background: #cccccc; max-width:100%;box-shadow: 0 3px 12px ";"> Locker Room In the back, the RAW Tag Team Champions of Alexander Banks and Spiffy Stan Standish (God's Gift) were sat talking about their potential challengers... Alexander Banks: “So it was Horton and Heath... but they blew it... Now it's the Masterminds... But why can't it be both?? We've always said we'd fight aaaanybody for these Belts!” Spiffy Stan Standish: “If it's gonna be both, I think Heath and Horton need to earn it, mate...” Alexander Banks: “You're right me old Cobbler... Okay, so how about this... How about tonight, you dust off the old boots... Get in that ring, with say... Heath Murdock...? AND Quizmaster... Quizzie wants to keep it a 2 on 2 for the Anniversary show, alls he has to do is stop Heath winning... If Heath wins, Heath and Horton are in, and it's a Triple Threat...!!” Spiffy Stan Standish: “Orhh!! I'm stoked, mate!! Zucco hits hard, but he was up against a man on a mission here. Kerry Wayne: “I think I know what we can do... We bring the kid Will (Beaumont) in... and we get Kal and Kian (Wayne) to find a partner... Make it a six-man tag at the 11th Anniversary Show?!” Captain Wrestling II: “I like it, mate... It's a solid plan... Gives us a chance to help out Will a bit too... Whoever they find, we're a strong unit...” Kerry Wayne: “Yeah I agree... Leave the Whoopin' to Wayne... You just make sure the kid doesn't do anything stupid!! In the end though, Rolling DDT from Jackson to Kerr was enough to get the win! 66 Winners: Frogue Element & Maurice Jackson Finish: 'Rolling DDT' </div> <div style="padding: 15px; border: 3px solid #22519c; margin:10px;background: #cccccc; max-width:100%;box-shadow: 0 3px 12px ";"> In A Cave Again We were back in the middle of nowhere... with Brittini Burke and The RAW Giants, in a cave!! Brittini Burke: “I know I've said it before... but I really don't like being here, even with you guys... this place gives me the creeps...!!” Burke stopped, when she noticed some wall markings that definitely weren't there last week... They looked very simple to read... Since she managed it: '1... 2... 3... 4... X...' Brittini Burke: “Oh... Kay... Any idea what the heck that means...?! Where did they come from...?! Why weren't they here last week...?! Okay, can we pleeease go now?!” </div> <div style="padding: 15px; border: 3px solid #22519c; margin:10px;background: #cccccc; max-width:100%;box-shadow: 0 3px 12px ";"> The Announce Team Doug Vallence and Rebecca Richey were on our screen again next... trying to make sense of what we just saw... Maurice Jackson: “Listen Frogue... All I'm sayin' is that you HAVE to stop Swoop winning the Title at the Anniversary Show!!” Frogue Element: “Oh you mean like how YOU stopped him last week ah?!” Maurice Jackson: “Hey... That was YOUR fault...” Frogue Element: “Here we go... I hate your type... You're a typical ex-Rugby player... comes into our sport, and can't hang... You know you can't beat Swoop, that's why you don't want him to be Champ... But I'll tell you what, you can't beat me either... So get that idea out of your THICK skull!!” Maurice Jackson: “Thick?! Thick?! Well I hate you too... I wouldn't piss on you if you were on fire, mate!!” Referees and officials arrived on the scene to break the pair up... Sorry for not being here last week boys... But I'm here now... and if I see those idiots, I'll... I'll...!!” Raymond Royce: “Okay Frankie... Calm it down kiddo... You boys are gonna get your chance against Wills and Lachlan (Matty and Brodie) next week... They're going to find two friends... to fight all FOUR of you!!” George LiberTeen: “Oomph! 7 days before the biggest performance of our careers so far at the Anniversary Show...? Standish and Quiz Master's argument and fight allowed Murdock back into it, and he won it with his 'Wipe Out'! 62 Winner: Heath Murdock Finish: 'Wipe Out' (Kin Shasa) </div> <div style="padding: 15px; border: 3px solid #22519c; margin:10px;background: #cccccc; max-width:100%;box-shadow: 0 3px 12px ";"> Announce Team Doug Vallence and Rebecca Richey came onto our screens again, to talk about the RAW Tag Team Title situation... I've been patient, but you're starting to TEST my patience... Get out here... and talk to me!!” Surprisingly, Croft answered the call!! He knew it was coming, McKenzie told the world he'd call him out one week ago... But Croft stayed on the stage... Montgomery: “Oh Nathan... Silly little bloke... I don't know if you know this, but I am a VERY powerful man in RAW... I have a lot of money... and what I do with that money, on occasion... is dig up dirt about people... Things that people don't want other people to know... I might hire a private investigator... Or a tax official... Or a detective... Yu know... Someone I can keep, in me pocket... I do this, to gain an advantage over someone... Maybe they have a weak knee I can exploit... Family issues at home, like the time I found one of Kerry Wayne's long lost brothers...!! Which... As you might have guessed Nathan... Brings me onto YOU... And I wonder... When were you going to tell him?!” McKenzie dropped his microphone and jumped out through the ropes!! He sprinted up the ramp, and Croft got the heck out of there!! What the heck is going on?! Is this all furphy, or is it all true?! </div> <div style="padding: 15px; border: 3px solid #22519c; margin:10px;background: #fafbff; max-width:100%;box-shadow: 0 3px 12px ";"> 'The Real Beaut' Loxley Robbins [vs] 'Unbreakable' Luke Steele Loxley and Steele know each other very well, having fought each other many times over the years. Steele is 'Unbreakable', but he's not unbeatable, and despite taking a beating, Loxley was always in this one. Staying in it angered Steele, and Loxley just waited for an opportunity. A well-timed 'European Uppercut' sent Steele staggering backwards into the opposite corner of the ring, and Loxley unleashed with a 'Spear' that nearly cut Steele in half! From then on, it was a much more even fight. Eventually, 'The Real Beaut' managed to hoist Steele up, and drop him with the 'Butterfly Powerbomb Pin'! 73 Winner: 'The Real Beaut' Loxley Robbins Finish: 'Butterfly Powerbomb Pin' </div> <div style="padding: 15px; border: 3px solid #22519c; margin:10px;background: #cccccc; max-width:100%;box-shadow: 0 3px 12px ";"> The Parking Lot Climbing into the back of his limo, Montgomery Croft shouted at his driver to drive away as fast as he could!! Nathan McKenzie appeared around a corner, carrying a cricket bat with him!! But Croft's limo sped away to safety!! 'Big Mac' looked around for a vehicle he could take to give chase, but ended up just throwing his cricket bat at the car in frustration!! Judging by McKenzie's reaction to Croft's comments, there's so much more to this story!! 9. Really enjoyed the show Barney Mason vs Chuck vs SubUrban Legend vs White Wasp I think he'll build towards a Title shot. To show it's possible. Surprised to not see Lothar, or Dexter, in this one. I'm sure you'll explain their absence. Dexter had the match won last week, and Lothar said he'd be in it! I'm thinking Lothar 'makes an impact' in a different way. APW Tag-Team Match The Duo vs Samoan Demolition © I liked The Duo in Self's CGC diary. I know they're talented, but Samoan Demolition are dominant Harry Simonson vs Leon Nameth Hmm... Nameth was positioned strongly last time out. Doesn't get paid by the minute. But Simonson is surely one of your more over guys. interesting match. Christopher Gerard vs Lone Shark Another tough one to call. Dingo Devine vs Monday Next He's your MAN. As you said, he'll be Main Eventing for a while yet. A feud with Goliath Global sounds good to me
  10. <div style="padding: 15px; border: 3px solid #fafae6; margin:10px;background: #fffff2; max-width:100%;box-shadow: 0 3px 12px ";"> Marvin McKenzie is a former Cricket Presenter on Australian TV. He's also a former print journalist, his book 'Sticky Wicket: A History Of The Scandals Of Australian Cricket' was a surprise best seller in 2014. McKenzie is known as being a 'motor-mouthed' colour commentator. Here, the Queensland native will take the time to respond to your 'Hashtags' ahead of RAW Attitude! And for those wondering, no, he's not related to Nathan McKenzie. And yes, I did actually sign him in-game to perform this role! But the hashtags will be answered by me, TheLloyd #WhatDoesCroftKnow #Not this week! #ExpensiveSecrets #HungryForABigMac Glad you guys seem to be enjoying this storyline. I'm currently almost finished with March Week 2, and so far it's been great fun to write! Probably the most fun storyline we have going. I know where it's going, but you guys don't, and I doubt at this point if anyone could guess. Except Christmas_Ape, because I told him With McKenzie, I'm going for 'Stone Cold' Steve Austin. Arrive. Raise Hell. Leave. #MysteryPartner #Maurice Jackson #JTAceFTW #DastardlyDeeds #PerfectForRAW Some interesting guesses on mystery partners and I'll just comment on a couple. Damian Dastardly is certainly a perfect fit for RAW. And he's on my shortlist. I kind of gave myself a couple of rules (that I may break), that I wouldn't sign anyone employed by APW, DIW or ZEN. I think a war in Australia could be fun. APW could rise and become the WCW to our WWF... DIW being the ECW... and then ZEN being this weird, offshoot. RAW are currently by far the Number One, but it'd be cool if one or more of the other companies rose in stature. JT Ace is in developmental. There's a link at the bottom of this post 'The Sons of RAW' which talks about who we have, and don't have, under contract. #Swoopiversary #No he can’t! #Fro #CheatersDontAlwaysLose #PrayForSwoop Swoop seems to be a polarising figure among some of you. For me, he's The Rock in his early run as a fan favourite. I'm hoping I can get that across. Frogue is an interesting one, as he's over enough to beat Swoop. But how much of a popularity hit would my top guy take? If Swoop wins, will Frogue sink even lower? Or would his pop increase from just being in a Main Event match like that with Swoop? I can only do one. #EchoStone #NewEdgeOutlaw #TombstoneWillHearTheEchosOfHisDefeat #AndTheNEEEEEEW I like the 'New Edge Outlaw' nickname for Echo Made me smile. Again, hoping you like where this is going. It's weird, mentioning McKenzie as Stone Cold, Swoop as The Rock. I kind of see Tombstone as Goldberg! You won't get three bigger stars in a certain era of wrestling! And RAW have so many more too! #TagDivisionTurmoil #3waytagtitlematch #MastermindsOverGodsGift #SmartThanAllTheRest A couple of you called this wrong. If HEATH wins, Horton and Heath are in, and it's a Triple Threat for the Titles. A lot of you seem to like The Masterminds. They're being transitioned into Road Agent roles by the management of RAW, but I personally see them having a long career as a tag team here. They're 36 and 34, so still plenty of years left in them. I like their gimmick too. Just wanted to say thanks to those of you who mentioned the Developmental guys. I've spoken about Ace already, and I think I know how I'm going to use him now. Same with Buckminster Snark, who I didn't expect to be available this early in the game. Rob Edwards is on my shortlist for sure. He looks a talent to me. I've set myself another little rule, that I won't bring anyone new in onto the Main Roster, until after the Season Finale. It allows me space to bring back the guys that I sent down to developmental (Ace and Gladiator), and the guys I've given 'time off' to (The Brat Pack, Rick Stantz and Rahmel Goode). I can bring them all back as 'big deals', and refresh them. Almost like debuts. But after the mid-season finale, I'll be able to bring in some newcomers. The other thing with Edwards is, he might get picked up by APW or someone else in Oz. We'll see. FANCY A CATCH UP?? CLICK THE LINKS BELOW!! 11. Oh man, that line about Rod Sullivan's Golden Age made me laugh Hahahaha!!! Lie Detector was class!! Needed more BINGs at the end though. Loxley kind of asked two questions and got one bing. There's a character on CBBC (kid's tv in the uk) called bing and I HATE that guy!! You're right about Swoop Main Eventing five weeks in a row. Was this a conscious decision because he's amazing? Or did you notice it after the five weeks? He's Main Evented I think 3 out of 6 of my shows. Off the top of my head. Could be 4.
  12. I don't think I've ever seen a card change like this so we have to pick again Bravo!! Hahahaha!! And Gaad damn it Dave!! CCW Men’s Championship: Art Reed vs Dean McWade vs Dallas McWade I was right about Ernest before, but now I think Reed beats the McWades. Until you tell us that they didn't want to come in a month early... and we have to pick again! But McKenzie couldn't find 'The Richest Man in RAW' anywhere! This week, 'Big Mac' calls Croft out. But will he get answers? And... #WhatDoesCroftKnow As you can see from the Prediction Key, RAW TV Champion Frogue Element is in tag team action on Episode #523. But as yet, we don't know who his partner is going to be. Anyone care to guess? #MysteryPartner This week on RAW, we're going to hear from 'The Alpha Male' Swoop McCarthy. He says that the Anniversary Shows have been very good to him in the past. He gets his next RAW TV Title shot at the 11th Anniversary Show. But can he win back the TV Title and become a record 5-time Champ? #Swoopiversary Echo and Tombstone remain on collision course! Can anything stop them from clashing at the 11th Anniversary Show? And when they do, will the ring implode? #EchoStone With The Masterminds picking up the win over Number One Contenders Heath and Horton last week, do they now leapfrog the fun-loving former 3-time Champs? 14. The latest Patch extends the Beta Trial by another month... So I'll be posting prediction quick picks for the next show tonight!
  15. <div style="padding: 15px; border: 3px solid #fafae6; margin:10px;background: #fffff2; max-width:100%;box-shadow: 0 3px 12px ";"> CEO Dan Reacher and Head Booker Delbert DeGeorge take a look at our Developmental Company: 'Sons Of RAW' (SOR). We'll discuss all the incomings and outgoings. Who we have our eye on, and who we signed to help out down there, just because they're personal favourites and generally nice guys! This week, to kick us off, I'll sum up everyone on the developmental roster, just so you know who we have working down there. I'll do this as myself, and not as a character. Aukland Raider Bryant Hall. One of three shock releases made my ZEN this month. Along with Lerone Slim and Buckminster Snark. When I started planning this diary, with the TEW 2016 data, I initially had big plans for Hall, assuming he'd be either a free agent, or employed by RAW already. When I saw ZEN had him, I dropped the plans, not wanting to hurt them. But Cyanide and Halloween Knight let him go, along with a few others, and so I put him in developmental. I've already replaced him in the storyline idea I had but I may still go back to it and use him. 'All Business' Bobby Thomas. The veteran Canadian tag team specialist definitely falls into the 'nice guy and personal favourite category. When I used to play as CGC and NOTBPW, he and Nate Johnson were the top tag team in Canada. Nate then stole Jack DeColts wife and fled to America. Nowadays, Bobby's high wages are blamed for 4C ending up going bankrupt. I feel really sorry for him, so I gave him an escape route all the way to Canada! 'The Thinking Man's Wrestler' Chess Maniac. He's Mexican, only 35, and was a free agent. Decent skill set, but like a couple of signings I made, I have a plan to use him as a character at Easter, in the Golden Egg Hunt episode. Currently teams with Bobby Thomas as 'The Ring Demons', which I like. AI made that team. Buckminster 'Bucky' Snark. Another surprising release from ZEN. Their loss, is once again my gain. Good looking, good charisma, good selling, he's got a place on my roster for sure. One of the things I feel RAW is slightly lacking so far is lower card 'enhancement' guys with characters. A snobby heel Snark could be a good fit for maybe a third member of the Brat Pack, or a Montgomery Croft stable/protege. 'California Cool' Charlie Corner. Australia doesn't have a lot of exciting prospects. There's a few, but I decided to take some of the world's best youngsters, ask them to work in Oz, and put them in developmental. He's only 18, and has 82 Charisma! Definitely someone I could put on TV, and having workers from different parts of the world is a good thing. Just because we're an Australian company, doesn't mean my entire roster has to be Australian. Dale Young. Decent announcer (67), joins Dan Reacher (70 Colour) and Delbert DeGeorge (61 Colour) on the announce desk, making it a strong line-up for a developmental company. To put it in perspective, Doug Vallence (69 Announcing) and Rebecca Richey (76 Colour) are my current team on the Main Roster. With Marvin McKenzie (65 Colour) working as a backstage interviewer. So there's not a lot in it across the board. A strong six! Free Agent wise in Australia, The Alex Arturro Experience (with 73 Colour) interests me. If anyone has any opinions on him, I'm all ears. Robbie 'Dazzler' Urich. New Zealander, who worked for RAW for 18 months when the company opened. Liked his camp gimmick in Jingo's fantastic RAW Diary from TEW 2010. I think I could have some fun writing for a character like that. Decent skill set, without being 'too good to be an enhancement talent'. Plus, read his bio. I felt sad for him. Doubt he'd fit in somewhere like DIW for example, so his options are limited. Gladiator. We know about Gladiator and JT Ace being down in developmental for now. Glad is 22, and I had planned to just bring them up to be babyface big guys to take on The RAW Giants (heel big guys). However, Christmas_ape has written such inventive characters for these two in his diary, that I may need to re-think things a little, and flesh him out in particular, some more. Again, decent skill set. He could realistically spend the entire season (year) in developmental. JT Ace. Big, strong, menacing, Jamaican. I've worked out what I'm going to do with Ace now. Originally, as I mentioned, he and Gladiator were going to come in as a dominant babyface tag team. Now I have a different plan for Ace, and I think you'll like it. Hack Greer. He's a heavy smoker, and I've tried once already to get him to break the habit. 19 years old, great charisma and great look. For a heavy smoker, great stamina too!! I think I can do something with him up on the main roster, but time is on our side with this youngster. Hack The Hunter. Another young Australian with potential. Good charisma and look, he's 6'7 and 360lbs. Initially, I brought him in to developmental to use him for the Egg Hunt episode, and I may still do that. But looking up and down the list of young guys here, he's my number 2 or 3 prospect I'd say. So similar to JT Ace in terms of skill, and size, although Ace is taller. Jesse Tasman. Surprised they're not an actual tag team, but I signed Tasman to work alongside Surfer Dude Lucas as 'The Killer Waves'. Very high Charisma, Sex Appeal and Athleticism for a 23 year old. The surfers could end up on the Tag Team Tournament, depending on how many teams I bring in for it. Surfer Dude Lucas. I was so surprised to see him unemployed, along with Jesse Tasman. They have a great future in RAW I think. He's one of the more over workers in SOR, and his skills are again, exactly what I look for in a potential Main Roster star. Leo 'The Lion' Price. Retired British wrestler, who is working as our Road Agent. He was one of the options for my user character, because I have such a soft spot for Price. He and Thompson were great in 21CW for me, and I had them in my first ever save as ROF, which did not end well. (I bankrupted them). He's talented, and there are very few unemployed Road Agents in Oceania that have good psychology. However, I did recently offer a deal to Original Lone Rider. 87 Psychology. Hello! 'The Maine Man' Leon Maine. 18 year old kid, who is charismatic and consistent. He can kind of do it all, but his whiny voice makes him very much a heel. Again, time is on our side with him. He can stay in developmental for at least this season. 'The Barbed Wire Messiah' Lloyd Banks. He would not fit in RAW at all. But. His name's Lloyd!! Also, I think in terms of fundamental skills, he can pass on some stuff to the younger guys. I really want to sign Ferdy Lloyd, to make Team Lloyd, but he's Emp-Lloyd (get it?) by ZEN for now. 'Ultimo Geeko' Mortimer Pyle. Not really sure why I signed Pyle. But he's another decent all-rounder who has worked for RAW before, and has a decent gimmick. Nothing spectacular about him. Nothing wrong with that. 'Prime Time' Jack Pride. A young American who has all the skills I look for in a RAW prospect. Charisma, Sex Appeal, all those camera skills that make him marketable. I think I'll pair him up with fellow American Charlie Corner, and see how they go for now. Again, depending on space, they may be able to be used for the upcoming Tag Team Tournament. The Historian. This guy knows his onions. Great gimmick, and another potential character for the Easter Egg Hunt episode. I broke my rule about signing unemployed guys when I brought him to Developmental, I just really liked the character (and the person he's based on). He still works for MAW, so don't expect him to be on the Main Roster any time soon. However, I will use him as an extra wherever possible. Tristram Day. I just didn't have a place for him on the Main Roster. He's got no skills, and since my user character is the owner of RAW, I'm not sure why I haven't just released him. XS. I like this guy. Very small, and would be extremely small compared to the majority of RAW's large sized guys. I can see myself booking him like Rey Mysterio, however he's 'better as a heel', so maybe that wouldn't work so well, but we'll see. I've also recently offered deals to a couple of other workers. Just to fill up the numbers a little more. But they haven't officially signed yet. Blackwell 'The Burning' Bush who has incredible Fundamental and Physical Skills, but not a lot else. In fact, he's so bland on camera and in performance, that he just wouldn't work on RAW. But he can pass on some skills to the younger kids I have in developmental for now. A manager might help him, and I do need recognisable enhancement talents on the Main Roster. He'd certainly be different to anyone else I have right now. Joe 'The Breeze' Beauchamp. My guy. Highly skilled 43 year old, who I signed for ROF in my first ever save. I've had him on my roster for a lot of saves actually. He's UEW's Head Booker for now, so I'll have him on a Handshake deal until we either go big enough for him to leave them, or he loses that role. Very talented performer. FANCY A CATCH UP? 16. Thanks man. Me too! I'd love it if there were more podcasts in the cverse. Haven't found any yet. Greg Sluchinski is a good character in there though Ahaha!! Nice!! Thanks for the feedback. Hack!
  17. Big Mac & Friez <img alt="" data-src="//content.invisioncic.com/g322608/emoticons/biggrin.png.929299b4c121f473b0026f3d6e74d189.png" src="<___base_url___>/applications/core/interface/js/spacer.png" /> hahahaha
  18. So Chip wants to carve his own path, and not just be known as Johnny Martin's son, yet he calls himself 'NextGen' and the tag team is 'Hardcore Inheritance'? This guy's a HEEEELLLLL!! Looking forward to seeing what they can do though.
  19. Main Event Swoop McCarthy vs Luke Steele It's Swoop!! Nicky Gilbert vs Manhunter This one is a LOT tougher to call... But I'll give it to Ken 2 fan favourites are in action including the return of Nicky Gilbert. But there's more! Loxley Robbins is set to be interviewed by The Masterminds, in order to try and clear his name. Is he telling the truth that he didn't tamper with the shampoo? I know this one, I shouldn't really predict but I enjoy it so damn much!! What roster member will take a look at the Tag Team Speed Dating flyer this week? Skyscraper, Rod Sullivan, Spiffy Stan Standish, Montgomery Croft, Big Mac, Will Beaumont or Tye Liberteen? It was Manhunter last week wasn't it? So maybe Tye? The team formerly known as The Brat Pack (Artemis and Thurston) will return to RAW, but what will their gimmick be? Dentists, Dietitians, Detectives, Decorators or Database Administrators? Haha!! All of those would be great!! I'll go with Detectives...
  20. <div style="padding: 15px; border: 3px solid #fafae6; margin:10px;background: #fffff2; max-width:100%;box-shadow: 0 3px 12px ";"> Joanne Rodriguez brings us her award winning podcast: Behind The Curtain, where she sits down and talks about the life and times of some of the biggest names wrestling. 'The J-Rod Pod', as she coins it, is not limited to one country, or one company. She can get guests from all over the world, from USPW Star: Rich Money, to SNP's resident Fitness Instructor: Chuck Frisby! There are no limits. This week on 'The J-Rod Pod', Joanne Rodriguez sits down with: Swoop McCarhty from RAW, in Australia Joanne Rodriguez Well folks, as we get started here, I'd like to welcome along to the show, all the way from Western Australia: 'The Alpha Male' of RAW... Swoop McCarthy!! Swoop McCarthy G'Day Joanne, it's an honour to be talking to you today... Joanne Rodriguez Well the honour's mine Swoop... It's not often I get to talk to a four-time World Champion!! Tell me, in your own words, how is RAW different from the traditional 'Sports Entertainment' we Americans see on our TV every week...? From the likes of say, SWF or USPW...? Swoop McCarthy You're pretty well decorated yourself though aren't ya Joanne...?! I believe you too are a four-time Champ, just like me!! For now of course... I'll soon get my hands on that fifth Title...!! But in answer to your question, RAW is different because we rely more heavily on the 'Entertainment' side of things. SWF and USPW, they do too, but in RAW we can do aaanything we want!! Fancy shooting segments on the beach?! Easy. Fancy heading to, I dunno, The Sydney Opera House?! No problem. We can do anything, go anywhere, our production team is THE best in the business, hands down!! Joanne Rodriguez I was going to ask that actually... I've never seen a wrestling company pre-tape so much for a 'Live' TV Show!! Not just backstage stuff, or off-site shoots... But sometimes even matches!! What benefit do you think this is to the TV Audience, and do the Live Studio Audience suffer during those segments...? Swoop McCarthy First of all, Live is the right word. Our matches, in general, play out to a live studio audience, and we wrestle just the same as any other company. The advantage of pre-tapes is that we can cover things that we didn't get first time, and re-do them. Our stuff isn't over-polished, or over-produced. We just re-take some bits to make it the best it can be. It still feels rough, and fresh, and RAW, if you like!! As for the audience being at a disadvantage, heck no!! They get more entertainment than the TV audience with the stuff we do before and after a show. They never seem to mind sitting through a pre-taped segment or match... as long as... and this is crucial... it's GOOD!! And with our roster, for the most part anyway, we are VERY good!! Joanne Rodriguez Okay, so, speaking of the current roster, are there any young talents you've got your eye on? Anyone ready to break through at a moments notice? Swoop McCarthy Yeah there's actually a whole bunch of kids ready to take that next step. Will Beaumont is an obvious one. He's come on leaps and bounds since debuting with LiberTeen. He's just 21 years old. But the one I've really got my eye on right now is Kian Wayne... It's remarkable that he's only 23!! The things he can do, the little things he does... Those 'intricacies'... He's an actor, and an athlete. Really looking forward to him stepping up if he can just get away from Kal (Wayne). Joanne Rodriguez So you've worked with just about every major star in Australian wrestling over the years. But recently a former 7-time SWF World Heavyweight Champion, the legendary New Yorker, Jack Bruce showed up in Oz, and he's now your boss... Tell me a bit about what that's like, and if you could see him getting back in the ring for... 'One More Match'...!! Swoop McCarthy If I can take you back a few weeks... The day Jack Bruce arrived in the locker room, was a weird day to say the least... We'd heard from Tristram Day, he's the sort of, 'Executive Producer' of RAW. We call him 'Boss' basically. He's told us that a big star was coming over to RAW to be the new Head Booker. We had no idea who it was, so the rumours all started swirling. The Comedian (DIW Owner), Cyanide (Booker for ZEN), maybe some guys from APW. The place was a buzz with rumours and innuendo. Day had talked about replacing Rebecca (Richey) with a new booker for quite some time. She was good, but she was only supposed to be temporary, as she had other responsibilities, like colour commentary, and Human Resources... Joanne Rodriguez So where were you when Jack Bruce arrived?! Were you all together!? The whole roster?! Swoop McCarthy First time I met him, Day called a few of us into a meeting. It was me, Rahmel Goode, (Luke) Steele, Kerry (Wayne) obviously, both Captains (Captain Wrestling and Captain Wrestling II), The Masterminds (Quiz Master and Quizzical Mark Question)... And we're sitting there, and then the door opens... Jack f*****g Bruce... Oops, am I allowed to swear?! Joanne Rodriguez It's fine, we encourage it in fact... go on... Swoop McCarthy Jack, f*****g Bruce walks in... Looking like he was about to lace up the boots and compete... I mean, it was... They say don't ever meet your heroes right... Because they'll disappoint you... When he walked in... Apart from Old Captain (Captain Wrestling), we'd all looked up to Jack Bruce... and we were all in absolute AWE!! First thing he said to us?... Get this... He said: “Hi Guys... Great to finally meet you all... Listen... I don't want anyone taking the p**s... But my wife is called Sheila!!”... HIS WIFE IS CALLED SHEILA BRUCE!! Well that was it, we were all p*****g ourselves!! Three weeks it took him to tell us that her name wasn't actually Sheila!! But we thought, right... this is it... It's time to kick on now... If we're going to make RAW, THE place to go for Sports Entertainment... and Dominate the landscape in world wrestling, the time was NOW!! So it took me about two weeks, but I signed a mega contract to stay in RAW!! Joanne Rodriguez Oh wow... So Jack impressed you that much, from your first meeting?! Swoop McCarthy The first meeting, but then all his ideas, creatively, since then. He's been really hands on with Nathan McKenzie and Montgomery Croft... Crofty's been treading water for a while, not been able to get anything to stick... But he's like a new man!! The moment that convinced me to stay though, was when Jack said these immortal words... Someone asked him if he could see himself having that 'One More Match' in RAW... and his words were: “Never Say Never, Kid!”... Can you imagine...!? Swoop McCarthy versus Jack Bruce...?! Joanne Rodriguez It'd certainly be something!! Wow, so he hasn't ruled it out... Is he quite hands on with most aspects of booking RAW...?! Swoop McCarthy SO hands on... He helps guys with their promos... Their matches... Helps them choose locations for off-site shoots... Goes along to those shoots most times... But most of all, he's created a buzz around the place, the likes of which I haven't seen since Maurice Jackson signed four years ago!! Sure, we've had some big names come in since then... Nathan McKenzie... Tombstone... a few others... but Jack just trumps them all... He's by far the biggest thing to ever happen to RAW!! Joanne Rodriguez So, just winding down here... You mentioned a dream opponent in Jack Bruce... and what a Dream Match that would be... But if you could wrestle anyone... Alive or Dead... as a one off match, at say, the 11th Anniversary Show which is coming up... Friday, March Week One... Who would it be...? And you can't say Jack Bruce... Or Me!! Swoop McCarthy Haha! Damn... Taking you two off the table sure makes this a little tricky... Okay... Let's see... There's a couple of guys I've looked up to my entire career... and a couple that I just think would be FUN... So, first up... Fun matches... I'd like to fight a DeColt Brother!! In Canada!! I don't mind which one, but Ricky looks like he can bump a fair bit... and while we're in Canada... Marc DuBois and I could tear the house down... What a HEEL!! But as for legends... Guys I look up to... Bruce The Giant... Obviously... Again, talk about a heel... But Number One, sorry for skating around that answer a bit... Tommy Cornell... Where would wrestling be without Tommy Cornell...?! Joanne Rodriguez Oh Tommy would be great in RAW... And against you? That'd be a great match!! Listen, Swoop... We have to get out of here... But thank you so much for giving me the opportunity to speak to you today... Swoop McCarthy Pleasure was all mine J-Rod... Joanne Rodriguez I will catch you all next time, on the 'J-Rod Pod'... Behind The Curtain!! Thanks guys!! </div>
  21. Sadly, I'm awful at facepaint, so someone else can take that on
  22. That top five is definitely the case in 2016... Nowadays, Jackson's my number two! And obviously Frogue is Champ... Blake is good, and up there too, but not top five. I'd do this: Swoop Jackson Loxley Frogue Captain Where 2016 they had a clear five (plus maybe Goode), in 2020 they seem to have 8-10 top workers. Your next challenge, should be to book the show with your top five... But without the guys you omitted that are on my list. So Frogue and Jackson. They really stepped up in Swoop's absence, but can he be enough to cover for them both?
